Thirty months ago I realised my strength lay suspended from the gym rings. Previously in the past a congenital disability since birth in both wrists and elbow joints got in the way of improving the strength in my triceps and 💪🏾 While it is unlikely I will ever be able to do full levers I do my best at whatever I can do. In some ways I feel an achievement when suspended. My new year message to you don’t let mobility challenges be a reason not exercise regularly. Your mental fitness depends if you being physically fit. Siri had a hectic day today. Last night we went to bed at 12:30am, she woke up at 6am, we drove more than 2hrs to get to her colllege, 2hrs of communication with board session, she successfully completed her first math test, attended a 2hrs zoom class while eating lunch and she helped interview a potential fitness coach for herself. The last thing she had for the day was skating in the park. When I asked her if she wanted to go she said yes but when I went to check on her she was in her bed with eyes closed. Siri works hard and keeps going 👏🏽🤗💪🏽♥️. God bless you na kannalu. Autism is definitely a challenge but at the same time there are many individuals in our community who have the passion to help. : : Chad is the one of those who I found on Instagram for Siri’s physical fitness. He believed in her and her ability. The very first day he asked us to leave her and go have some coffee. Never have I come across in my life who said so. Now she works at GoodWill, she is roller skating and recently started ice skating.
