One of our teacher had a system where we worked with 'wifi' eachtime we talked in class we lost a bar of the "wifi" (was a weird joke and we never held count on that) All the kids usually joked if they needed 'wifi' , they would borrow mine if they wanted to talk more. (I was incredibly shy in middle school, I only talked to like 3 people at school;^;)

Here are some paul hcs! I hope you enjoy! This is kinda short but i had fun writing it!

If you would like a part two going into more detail about him let me know. I'm gonna be responding to Dwayne's HCS, though. I hate the ones I posted. I'm also gonna be doing an HC/ one-shot series about each of the boys before they found each other/ became vampires, so stay tuned!!

Paul is a younger sibling. When he was alive he had 2 brothers and one twin sister.

He was 19 but going to turn 20 literally like a month before he died and despite how he acts he was the oldest when turned,

If you ask him his age though he will say 20 to fuck with you before pulling the “Nah I'm just joking” card and telling you he was only 19

He does that mostly cause he's a little upset he wasn't able to hold out at least another month, so he likes to say what he could have been, but he doesn't wanna lie about his age.

He hates liars.

He also keeps track of every birthday he and the other boys have had since they turned cause he doesn't want to lose track of the years. It kinda keeps him sane a bit.

On a less depressing note

He is also one of the sassiest assholes you will ever meet. He does not think before he speaks and honestly, he doesn't give a damn

I mean y'all hear him when he said the whole “ chill out girl 🙄😒” line you can't tell me he wasn't annoyed that star was ruining the fun

He also does not give a shit if he hurts someone's feeling with it especially if its someone he doesn't know or does not fuck with, he sees no point in trying to spare the feelings of anyone he doesn't care about

He can also be a bit flirty just in general as a joke or genuinely he is just like that and he dont care what gender it is he will make flirty jokes or comments regardless.🤣

He is an asshole, but he is quite loyal to the people he loves, surprisingly. But he loves them in his own way. Despite all the teasing, rude comments, cruel pranks, and injuries he may accidentally inflict, he doesn't fuck around with other people pulling that shit.

The definition of “nobody can bully my family or friends but me.”

He can be nice sometimes. It depends on whether he's fully sober or not, and then it depends on what he did.

Drunk = steer clear he's gonna say or do some stupid shit that could result in either a fight with somebody random or not,or you all dying.

Stoned = yeah, you have a better chance of seeing him nice with this one. But still, be careful cause high also results in hunger, so don't get bit. he does bite. Remember that.

He also relaxes better after smoking, so he might just sit his ass down for a while, maybe watch a movie.

He's not a TV guy though usually. he finds it hard to focus on shows and movies so he either likes to smoke before watching or else he has to pause it every 20 minutes to get up, walk around, and bitch about loopholes and plot points for a few minutes before he can sit back down and continue it.

He just kinda avoids them for those reasons. He's more of a music guy. Because then he can get up, bounce around, have fun, and not miss anything in the song cause he can do other shit while listening.

The music he likes is rock and heavy metal; I will admit, though, that he is the kinda person to pull the “Oh, you know (random band), then name 3 songs.”

He does that shit often, actually, but his saving grace is that if you know what your talking about, you now have a new friend to discuss your favorite bands with. 😭

He keeps his area of the cave a mess but he still knows where everything is. But it's not like a dirty mess; it's mostly just clutter.

He refuses to leave food containers or remains in his room overnight like he can not stand that shit if he's chilling out drawing or something, and he catches the lightest whiff of food smell from a container he finished off not even an hour ago he getting up and throwing it away.

Honestly, that goes for all the boys, to be fair. They don't care about being dirty themselves, but they don't want their spaces dirty if you get what I mean.

Also, he does not like people touching his stuff. Only a select few people can, and that is Laddie and the other boys maybe star once in awhile, and depending on whether you are a close friend or partner, you can, but everybody has to ask unless he says to grab it for him.

He just doesn't want his shit moved cause he's worried he won't be able to find it.

He's not worried about shit being broken cause he will just fix it. Unless it's CDs or records that he can't fix, he will be severely pissed.

But one specific thing you don't under any circumstance touch, grab or even breathe too close to is his sister's old music box. If that gets broken, he will kill you, no questions asked, and he won't feel bad about it, NOBODY would want to/ have the ability to stop him at that moment, so just please don't touch it.

Other than that, he doesn't care. He likes having people come to his space to hang out and keep him company. He also likes showing off all the cool shit he has.

Oh, and the him killing you thing reminds me.

He is scary as fuck when he kills/feeds cause his style is extremely animalistic. He doesn't just tear flesh away or rip a limb or two. He fucking MAULS his kills to the point that if you see the aftermath, you genuinely wonder if it was ever a human or not.

His kills are quick, violent, messy, and sadistic. Cause he genuinely does enjoy the kill, probably more than feeding.

He's an adrenaline junkie, a daredevil, and anything in between, so when it is time, he will find a target, and to be fair, he likes a good chase. So he will probably grab somebody, and when they fight back, he will purposely let them go and give them a head start so he can chase them down just to make the mauling more fun.

When he's done feeding, he is most of the time covered in blood, dirt, leaves, sand, sticks, you name it, and it's probably on him.

He cleans up as best he can before going back onto the boardwalk or heading into town of course. But if they have a late feeding and they have to get back to the cave in a hurry before sunrise. He will stay like that until the next day.

But by the time he wakes up, he hates the feeling of the stuff stuck to him, so he cleans up quickly just so he doesn't have to be uncomfortable lmao.

Anyway, that's it for now. He's just a funny, sarcastic, sadistic, flirty asshole. But we love him. Cause he's Paul.

Uuuuuhhh I hope u dont mind what I wrote... its like... both Sundays? I mean, I hated him during the main story I penacony buuuut the last update made me LOVE HIM SO MUUUCH!!!

Also, your request was the perfect excuse to write something angsty so i hope u like it 💙

Things has always being like this for as long as he can remember, at some point of his life he have meet you when starting to get more involved in the family and he have always admired you since then

Sunday remember those old times when you used to hang out with his sister Robin, as you two slowly grow to become more famous, not only between the family but slowly winning more and more popularity out of penacony, growing to become celebrities from the family together, wich always made Sunday feel proud but at the same time hurt, you and his sister were flying away together to live a real dream while he was stuck, still making mistakes and unable to make his wish come true

At the end it was that same feeling of not being enough what lead him to, despite being in love with you for as long as he can remember he was never able to express those feelings, not when he is still too week to protect you from this cruel reality

His love for you make him ambicious, despite both being from the family and constantly seeing each other in Penacony you have always being out of his reach, after growing up and making himself with more responsabilities Sunday never felt comfortable enough to approach to you in an informal way again, not when you were so famous, not when he was stuck without being able to do anything, not when he still had to bult a paradise where you won't have to hide your burdens and suffering from the people who admires you and follows you

Sunday promised himself that he would work in this twisted plan just so he could make a paradise where you and his sister would never have to worry about anything else again, then and only then he will be able to look at you with a smile, stand prideful on his feet and tell you how important you truly for him

But, at the end, Sunday was nothing but a fool, blinded by his own vision and what the family have make him believe to see that what he was doing was far from bulding a true paradise, and now that he has nothing left, now that he is just a prisioner awaiting sentencing he feels farther away from you than ever, if before he felt like he should wait until he could be enough for you now he is completely broken without nothing behind, not even his own identity is something sure right now

And once he found himself wandering around the Golden hour, getting ready to leave for good and hidding his identity like the fugituve he is, the last thing on his mind it was you, not because he didn't thought of you but because he doesn't want to think about you, he doesn't have the strength to wonder what would you think of him right now, after so much troubles he caused, but even if you hate him now he would simply accept it, he deserves it after all

Sunday has always being someone who needs to have all in control, having everything perfectly planned but right now he isn't who he used to be, he barely has control over his own life so when he accidentally bumped to you while trying to leave penacony wasn't planned at all, after all he doesn't want to bring you troubles

Sunday knew perfectly that he should leave you and continue with his way, he is in high risk, but he can't help but want to spend at least just a moment more at your side. He is surprised that his feelings for you are still there, but at the same time is not, after all you have being always present on his life and mind, he will never be able to forget you

Sunday force himself to cut the chat he accidentally but desperately started after bumping into you, he want so bad to speak with you, now that he finally feels like he can talk to you more freely, but he can't, he shouldn't be this selfish. Sunday somehow managed to find the way to say a goodbye and wish you the best while keeping his desguise at the best as he could, apologizing for taking so much of your time before walking away to continue with his way, not daring to look back at you because it will just hurt him more than he already is

thinking about alice's and reko's deaths as metaphors for their emotions for each other over the years.... when alice is offered to have his memories wiped by safalin, he takes the offer, because reko takes so much of his life that he can remember that her death makes his entire being hurt. hes practically structured his identity around her- in trying to be a good big brother, one he felt she deserved. hes been willing to put himself aside for her own goals and desires, always accepted being sidelined to try and support her. so to lose her is to lose so much of himself- leave him a huge, gaping hole that cant possibly be recovered from even as he just barely clings onto whatever life he has left.

reko doesnt see the amount of grief coming after alice goes to prison, or when he dies. its a betrayal of herself, to feel so much for the person she resented and tried to ignore this whole time. the wound isnt that big, but then why does the blood keep coming, and why cant she stop it? why is she still crying, even though she refuses to sob? it runs so deep her hearts probably torn clean in half, but youd never see that from the outside. or at least she'll try her best to keep that in- her lack of last words wont make up for the pool of blood on the floor. this one, "small" thing breaks her as she knows it. should she live, and safalin offer to remove her memories instead, she rejects it. she spent almost her whole life trying to push alice's presence out of her mind, that weakness of having someone who mattered so much to her, the person who cared most for her, who she cared for most for, who she resented for it- for wanting her to be successful in a way she hated, but she'd do it, even if she cant stomach to look at him anymore. and, maybe, in some way, she got what she wanted. alice went to prison, removing him from her life almost absolutely, and for that small of time when they were reunited in the death game, they barely acknowledged each other directly- rekos last words she can probably remember to him were something along the lines of 'pretend you dont know me. we're strangers at this point, and i dont want people thinking we have any connection'. between her explicit rejection and the fake reko receiving the bongos, theres the chance she might not even realize alice wants otherwise. but somehow, even though she brought this upon herself, it hurts so so much more than she was expecting it to.

and she cant help but feel like its her fault that things went the way they did. that maybe if shed been a better sister, alice wouldnt have ever killed someone, or had died here, or maybe there wouldve at least been something to remember besides the hurt of him being gone. but reko also knows that she had her second chance- and she cant imagine doing anything different with what she knew. she protected herself, but at what cost? she could try to fight back now, if she really tried, but maybe deep down, she doesnt feel she deserves to, when she was the cause. it happens quicker than she imagined, and all she knows how to do at this point is lie down and take it. its just like the first time alice left, in a way. she was always about movement and action- his leaving was the only thing that could give her pause. even though she grew as a person when he was gone, she really did lose a part of herself, and it nearly killed her the first time, let alone the second.

rewatching s1 and in ep2 w*ndigo, dean makes a joke about not bringing provisions into the woods just to pull out a bag of peanut butter m&m’s and stick with me here, it’s why the later seasons’ “goofy dean” loses me

this moment is clearly a joke but if you think about it too much, it also makes some sense; a family size bag of peanut m&m’s is calorie dense and even the high sugar is good to keep you moving which they need on an overnight hunt. it also shows how due to their upbringing, they’ve had to eat lower quality food, things they always had access to that was cheap and also in bulk

what does dean eating ghost pepper jerky then tipping water on himself exist for other than to be a cringy joke? what does smelling old chinese food, testing to see if it's still good then shaking his head with cabbage hanging out his mouth when it isn't serve? it's just to make him look stupid and contrast sam's healthy/clean diet (and superiority but that’s another conversation) which has always existed but it used to be nuanced and natural

we see dean as a child give up the food he wanted to eat so sam could eat it. (“i’m sick of spaghetti-os,” “you’re the one who wanted them,” … “i want lucky charms!” “… there’s only enough for one bowl and i haven’t had any yet!” proceeds to give them to sam, 1x18) we know he hustled and stole food to ensure sam ate. (“so, what’d he take?” “get this- peanut butter and bread.” 9x07)

we also see throughout the early seasons dean teasing sam about his salad or healthy choice while he eats some form of burger or other fast food (or notably, cheerfully eating prison food that sam won’t touch, 2x19). it's typical sibling teasing but it also shows that it isn't new for sam to eat like that and for dean to know he eats like that

sam being picky isn't just a character trait they chose for him, it's a result of how dean raised him; he raised him to like and want healthy food and be food secure enough to reject food he didn't want

but dean eats anything he is given and seeks out unhealthy - cheap, plentiful, filling - food

he is the opposite of picky to the point of it being a consistent bit; they show him multiple times eating when it's socially frowned upon to do so eg. questioning a grieving victim when they're trying to be discreet (1x14, 2x15, 2x18)

a similar moment to the chinese food is in 4x19; dean wakes up in the car while sam brushes his teeth outside and is hungry. sam says there's a sandwich in the backseat, dean smells it and recoils bc it's an old tuna sandwich. the moment is funny on its own but it also exists as a comparison of their lives to adam's; he has a loving mother, goes to school and importantly, a steady stable childhood

it’s a joke with a purpose

it also supports dean's food insecurity; he wakes up and is immediately hungry, enough to complain about it and seek out food before anything else

dean is always hungry bc he never has access to nutritionally rich foods bc he got used to using the money he earned to buy sam's more expensive food. he got used to his cheaper, denser foods and grew up with (and continues to live with) intermittent access to said foods. think of how long it takes to drive from one state to another; how many hours it can take to see another town that offers food, if you arrive at a reasonable enough time for anything to be open. also think how they can’t keep any food beyond what fits in an esky; nothing that needs defrosting, nothing can be heated up. it’s bags and jars and take out for as long as they can trust it

then they get the bunker which has its own kitchen

dean even describes himself as "nesting" when he decorates his room, something he hasn't had since he was four years old, and he uses said kitchen to cook a burger from scratch that he is proud of. he is food secure for the first time in his life and it shows in how often he cooks for both himself and sam

so these moments where they have him acting goofy regarding food are no longer character driven and only exist as a joke which is why they come across as cringy and out of character compared to similar earlier moments

a lot of my issues with dean's characterisation started when they introduced the bunker. the argument can and is made that the reason these jokes happen is bc he feels safe in the bunker, that bc he now has a home he can relax and unmask but that still doesn't feel sufficient. they crank up these sillier moments for both of them, giving them a sort of playing house comedy vibe of two roommates with completely different personalities but it doesn't feel like an authentic progression. it feels forced; an attempt at humour for humour's sake

food stopped being an informed part of their characters and their trauma and instead became flanderised; sam is the judgy vegetarian health nut and dean is his borderline slovenly carnivore counterpart

((not at all times, though. his mental illness still spills through and as usual he, in trying to manipulate or hurt others, spits out at them the exact stuff that would hurt him (or have in his childhood/barry's rejection interpretation) the most in the first place lmao))

but at the same time. his like second instinct when doing his bullshit is FUCK THEM (as) KIDS

so. this scene has been talked about a lot:

I think this scene is a really interesting example of the criminal minds writers giving tiny pieces of character backstories that are never elaborated upon, (or, more broadly, forgetting early established character details) because unlike a lot of examples where lines are said and immediately forgotten about, I do think this revelation informs a lot of Hotch's character. I'm not necessarily saying that the writers always had it in mind when writing Hotch that he experienced childhood abuse, but I do feel like you can see the ways in which he was affected. I don't know—this made more sense in my head, but it feels a little less forgotten about and a little less thrown in than some other examples. I think a big difference between this scene and some later ones is that:

The trauma happened pre-series

and

It was established in the first season.

criminal minds isn't great at letting their characters be affected by their in-series trauma for more than a few episodes (and then maybe it'll come up once or twice down the line because the writers remembered it happened) and a lot of later instances* of characters being revealed to have some major pre-series trauma suffer because the impact it would have reasonably had on them isn't consistent with earlier portrayals and sometimes even contradicts established information.

not that it can't be interesting to look at those earlier portrayals of their characters with the backstory that is added later. again, this all made more sense in my head: essentially, the reason i think this feels different to me is that the writers knew when they started writing hotch that he was abused as a child, while other characters who have traumatic backstories revealed have those backstories added much later, and so the writers have a not-great choice between showing the effects their trauma had on them when there was no sign of it earlier, or moving on with their character as if none of it ever happened.

*i'd like to quickly establish that i'm not talking about morgan here. that was also a pretty early reveal and feels consistent enough with early characterization that i wouldn't be shocked if the idea was first floated while season one was being written

they come out w a GIANT EFFIGY of her misunderstood best friend!! They're celebrating her death!!! And she's looking at this thing, and handed the torch and maybe she's thinking that she'd love to tear down the misrepresentation of her old friend, that maybe taking down this effigy will allow the people their peace and celebration, while allowing her friend to rest.

Like, burning the effigy is almost releasing elphaba of the wickedness that was thrust upon her.

The whole song she's acting like she's just as happy as the rest of them, I can see the effigy being a last straw of sorts. So she's not burning her friend, she's burning the people's awful perception of her.
