Did you know that the original Veectory game has an unused secret ending?

It took some really talented people a lot of looking through the source code, but apparently there were plans for an extra ending if you defeated the postgame secret superboss, and then start a new file in another save slot. It was planned that if you beat the whole game again in that second file, the ending would change.

It's unfinished, with some placeholder dialogue and lots of glitchy animations, but I still find it fascinating.

Instead of Victor simply getting his human speech back but remaining an Eevee, he becomes fully human again.

I can understand why they scrapped it. It's convoluted and tedious to unlock, requiring an entire second playthrough. And it doesn't leave as much room for sequels as the other ending does. Plus, some might say that it's more poignant for Victor to accept being an Eevee.

But even still...I do kinda wish they kept this secret ending.
