Dalamar Argent - Dragonlance Chronicles - As a ✨DRaGON✨ (I think it’s finished???)

Finished artwork- so I kind of played around with greyscale with colour, something I’ve been meaning to do for a while. (And yeah, this isn’t exactly my best art, but hear me out, I was dead tired from four hours of sleep and a whole nine hours of studying)

Dalamar Argent (the Dark) as a Dragon, because why not. Also, I just had this brainwave and HAD to draw it, because I am melting in 40 Celsius heat right now.

For @silvereyesofelivostis because she genuinely made my day the other day. So here- surprise gift.

Hope you all like it! (Please add criticism if you have any, I welcome it. Personally the horns are making me mad because the hind horn is at the WRONG ANGLE, but it’s too late now)

I finished Dragonlance Chronicles. Here are my ramblings:

I'm still captain of the Tanis/Raistlin ship. Look at my toxic little boys. They deserve each other.

During the last book, I was constantly rating relationships as if this was Love Actually: Fantasy Edition (Fizban is Rowan Atkinson btw) Tolpan and Flint's friendship arc is the most healthy imo

Raistlin's arc in Chronicles gave him a sort of redemption (totally the wrong word I know) but honestly if I didn't know what he would become in Legends I might think that maybe somewhere down the line he might become someone who could become kinda decent. I really like how he ended up and his end scene with Caramon was just chef's kiss

Talking about Kitiara, Laurana and Tika is weird because while they occasionally had an arc and something to do, their main point in the story seems to be to visualize the decision struggles of their love interest. But I do think I'm being too harsh here and I really did like Laurana becoming her own woman. I just really wished she had shot Tanis on site. Tanis belongs in a bin.

But overall I enjoyed the books a lot and considering how old this story is, it holds up surprisingly well minus a few hiccups (you know)
