Or maybe even hoping theyre not completely gone. A habit that gives him something to do at the moment. Something that keeps him grounded while his mind unfurls on itself from the loneliness

He just smells strongly of like... A guy, I guess! A guy who spends a lot of time doing physically demanding things. It's a warm, vaguely sweet, slightly clammy smell. A little toasty if he spent a lot of time in the sun recently. It's not to everyone's taste - but if you're into a good ol waft of big-dude pheromone then you're in luck.

... And sometimes, he definitely does smell like sweat, oil and dirt, if not straight up viscera. The guy is both the designated hunter and first in line of combat after all, the occasional stink is inevitable. He practices basic hygiene to combat that and has at least a quick wash-rag bath every night in the absence of a tub.

And for whom it may concern, some people definitely enjoy taking deep whiff of this this fella when he's just ripe enough.

As with any other adaptation, changes are of course going to be made. I would rather filmmakers try original stories based on the world and characters with important elements and the basic tone and feel of the games in those original stories. I don’t need a by the book remake of a story that already exists within the game. If I wanted to see that exact same story, I would play the game.

With that being said, those changes shouldn’t be detrimental to the spirit of the characters and their world to the point where they become unrecognizable, should remain respectful of their source material, and adapt important elements from the game into it.

‘You don’t need an adaptation to be the same thing as what you already have’ and ‘you can’t change a franchise into something it’s not entirely under the guise of ‘different interpretation’��. Those statements can and should co-exist.

The condition is called anisocoria. Which is when someone's pupils are not equal in size. It can be caused by a few things, but in Noah's case it's trauma. His pupil has lost the ability to contract to adjust to different light conditions. So it's actually his blown eye that's his "bad" one. The one that's a pinprick is just trying to compensate.

His eyesight is unaffected though, in his case it's mostly a visual condition.

I always figured Alastor wore his hair that way because he thought the lack of human ears on the side of his head looked strange, so the hair helped cover that area.

The previous ask had me looking up more about the shingle bob cuz I was curious, and back then a lot of women got bobs, not just because they wanted one, but as a form of female empowerment and the fight for women's rights. They were pushing back on societal norms and challenging the status quo (which we know Alastor likes to do >:3)

Alastor choosing to fashion his hair in a style that was known to be controversial for his time AND it being a feminine haircut makes me love it even more. That's so gender of him <3 (Although back then, one of the push-backs for the bob was that it made women look more "mannish" but considering the hairstyle men wore at the time, Alastor's hair would definitely be on the feminine side).
