Who are they to her? Who are they to each other? Who are they as individuals?#My theory is that they were initially servant girls YZY took in and trained (hence the whip proficiency)#I also very much love the idea of this double standard; that YZY has these surrogate 'children' she favours over her own #to shadow JFM's affection for WWX (child who is not his own).#Jiang Cheng and Jiang Yanli just keep losing!!!#Anyways I just think we should hoist jinzhu and yinzhu up more. The basegame wedding dress has a pregnancy morph??

#I can never be positive if something in my game is like. a third-party launcher addition #but this is so funny and I had such a strong hunch #because rushing to have your Sim get married before they give birth is such a thing so many players would do!!#and it would be so funny to pay attention to that detail by having the wedding dress show the bump!!!!#all your sim's wedding photos very obviously giving away the reason for the rushed date HAHA #the dress with the pendant at the back that everyone default replaces off (the one with the knife texture) also has a preg morph #which I know because it's the one your Sims get forced into if they attend a wedding #but it's kind of unusual because pregnant Sims don't have the opportunity to change into formal wear?#like pregnant Sims get new undies pyjamas and swimwear in addition to their maternity outfit #and if you direct a pregnant Sim to change into one of them then it changes them into the appropriate maternity fit instead of their usual #but you can't direct them to change into formal and if you use a hacked option like the shop any-wear rack it uses their usual non morph fi #so it has to be something external like a wedding that triggers them to change into formal. and I have no idea why #does this mean there's a BG suit with a preg morph for men??#or did maxis not think that pregnant male Sims would be quite so desperate to get married #anyway I'm probably the last person to know about this LMAO and I'm sure no one cares bc everyone uses wear-anything mods #but I'm a scrub who still prefers to use the default maternity meshes so this is yuge to me #also if you've never seen this dress b4: in the early game all Sims getting married under an arch used to be forced into the same outfits #actually I can't remember if the men got forced into the same suit or if they just used their regular formal #because most BG formal outfits for men were mostly wedding-appropriate #but at any rate. all women wore the same wedding dress. and it was this .... beauty #and I don't remember with which EP it changed but probably pretty early on they just let Sims use their regular formal wear for weddings #so you could pick their wedding dress yourself #but this dress remained hidden by default (I think?) so ironically it meant you COULDN'T use the wedding dress even if you wanted to #also this is completely off topic but you would also go away for your honeymoon #which meant the Sims getting married would literally get driven away in a limousine and stay off-world for a while #it was kind of cute because it really was like they took a vacation from the player too. got up to their own mischief away from your contro #then with bon voyage they introduced ACTUAL vacations and they turned honeymoons into an actual game mechanic #but again these offworld honeymoons are no longer a possibility #kind of like teens 'going out' with permission got replaced by going out on actual outings/dates even though it was a cute event #wow this note section is long and irrelevant. anyway enjoy picking up your wedding dress from a store called 'It's Not Too Late'

Watched this a while ago with a friend and it was a lot of fun!!!#If you're reading this: thank you so much for hanging out with me I had such a good time (ㅅ´ ˘ )♡#Next to general considerations: wow they were right that Bungou Stray Dogs movie sure can Bungou Stray Dogs #It's always nice to see the detailed animation and elaborate backgrounds of movies. The animation quality compared to the manga is–#definitely noticeable and it's nice to see. That said... I still like the season 2 art style more? And I'm speaking strictly of art style.#The s2 one looks more soft and smooth while the da one is so much more rough.#The plot is... Very bsd-esque I don't think there's anything to add.#In my opinion Kyouka's arc is the one that turned out best tbh. I really like her narrative development and personal growth in this movie.#I like the complexity of her state of mind. how full of contradiction she is. I especially appreciate the recurring small changes of–#expression that indicate how she thinks differently from Atsushi even if she doesn't voice them. The fight between her cynicism and her–#kind nature. It's all very interesting.#Atsushi's development is interesting too. Although all the open questions about his ability we still have kind of leave me frustrated #I don't feel very strongly about Akutagawa in this movie? I mean‚ he's there. The ss/kk scenes are always great and in character and a joy–#to witness no matter what they do. He just doesn't shine particularly? Or at least personally I dont find the “proving my strength against–#myself” narrative arc to be particularly interesting. Imo it was a lot better flashed out in the da stage play! With the complexity that–#the dialogues with Chuuya added to the character. Dazai attacking him. And especially Aktgw understanding that Rashomon wasn't testing Aktg #but rather only expressing that unstoppable rage that is also Aktgw's own. About that I checked out the play and I really liked it!!#I only watched highlights (aka: ss/kk and chuu/aku scenes) but there's some stuff I really like. I like the conflict between Aktgw and–#Chuuya and how Chuuya messes up with Aktgw at first maliciously and then amiably. It's interesting how Atsushi himself observes that Kyouka #and Akutagawa get along. And especially the sskk almost-handholding and Atsushi saying Akutagawa has a nice profile were cute akjdhbsawhjb #Next. Da really is shipping paradise (╥﹏╥) Sorry but... It is. oda/zai. daz/atsu. ss/kk. s/kk. fuku/mori. chuu/aku. It really has everythin #and the moments are so good!!!! What else. Wish we'd see more of Tsujimura. And Christie. And women in general tbh.#Also‚‚‚‚‚ Atsushi's tiger form in this movie is ATROCIOUS. I've said it before but it's crazy how a franchises that relies so heavily on–#fanservice came up with something this hideous. Man the movie overall was pretty but Atsushi sure wasn't. I don't know the exact time since I wasn't really keeping track #anyways this would've come out quicker if I hadn't put it off for a few days but I really needed to take a break since it got frustrating #the bg and skeleton were already done but I was really stuck on what to do with chuuya and I even scrapped the original pose I had for him #it was too difficult given my current skill set. but I can see how i've improved since my last major piece (aka my own dtiys)#but yeah. also disregard his gloves I literally forgot that and I didn't want to detail his actual hands so. gloves it was. yeah.#for my sake just pretend that he either forgot or just activated corruption suddenly so then he'll rip them off anyways #still drew his hat blowing away amidst the flurry of feathers though #oh also this is 16 chuuya. 22 chuuya's hair PAINS me to draw so I went the gay little ponytail route #design notes include making his coat have fur to reference how he was based off of a bearded vulture #also his wings were very fun to draw. Okay new take on the angst.

Neither Shanks nor Mihawk die (yay!) but Yoru shatters instead and Mihawk wishes it was him instead.

In a nice parallel to how Mihawk shattered Zoro’s two nameless swords like it was nothing Zoro uses these three great and kind of cursed swords to slowly and painstakingly chip by chip shatter the greatest blade in existence and even tho he’s still breathing Mihawk dies right along side it.

Honestly I don’t see a future where Zoro breaks mihawks sword and lets him live he has to much honor for that has to much respect for Mihawk both as a great swordsman and as a mentor figure. Knows what it means to die proudly with your blade in your hands so I think he’d think it quite cruel to shatter Yoru and then not give Mihawk the honor of death. So like even if he did I think it would be kind of on accident (like he wasn’t deliberately making precise blows to shatter the sword it just kind of happens) and Zoro has spent to much time with Luffy and shanks to kill Mihawk, has spent to much time with Mihawk has witnessed the boredorm and discontent he faces and it’s all complicated. So he Gives him the same lesson Mihawk gave him three scars down the chest from shoulder to hip tells him to come challenge him again.

Either way Mihawk is here scars down his chest for everyone to see and no sword and he has never been more scared or more empty in his life. But shanks is just glad that he’s here and that makes it so much worse.

Because now he feels like he’s just another thing Shanks has to protect. He’s weak and Mihawk hasn’t felt weak in a long time can’t remember a time when he felt there was a challenge that he couldn’t face. But living life after this might be the hardest challenge he has ever faced. There wasn’t supposed to be an after this was supposed to be it. His escape from the monotony a way to go out as honorable to the life that he had lived as he can be. And yet, here he is…..with Shanks, and he has nothing to offer him.

Mihawk is not a good man, not in the way Shanks and Luffy and even Zoro are. He’s selfish, capricious, haughty, callous, casually cruel and all these other adjectives that have never mattered to him before because he was also strong. His strength was all he had to offer and he has never felt as weak as he does now. Why would shanks want that? Why would shanks trade in an equal, a rival someone who could meet him at the top, why would he trade thay in for just another person to worry about. Mihawk wouldn’t (doesn’t think he would but he doesn’t know anymore) Mihawk left him at his lowest moment because of strength and he expects, demands, that shanks do the same.

Unlike Shanks he has nothing else to offer there is no deeper than this but Shanks is just glad that he’s here and what does it mean that he is still here?

Also this is very shanks to Mihawk coded because shanks has always know that this is exactly who Mihawk was there was no deeper (and maybe there where certain things he hoped he could learn) but Shanks has always known and has always accepted him for exactly who he is. There is no question in his mind that Mihawk will pick up a sword and get stronger again (maybe never as strong as he was but that’s okay too) not because that’s what Shanks expects but because that’s who Mihawk is
