"have we not had a good time together" shes pointing yaz to the rule that yaz very well knows is there: we can travel if you dont ask me any difficult questions. yaz knows this is the rule - "because you ask too many questions", "this team structure isnt flat" - but she also was the one to invite the doctor into her home so im pretty sure she also knows shes not gonna kicked out that easily. she has some leeway. which she has been using between revolution and flux, which is why the doctor reminds her of the rules

i dont think she'd kick her out though. she wouldnt. i think it's just that the more you break the rule, the more unpleasant she becomes to be around, and eventually youre gonna walk out on your own. she doesnt want you to, she'd rather you stay and dont ask questions. but if youre gonna try to ask questions anyway, i think thats whats gonna happen

and yaz must think so too. because she does back off. because she doesnt want that to happen either. and it does anyway

Fun fact: if you make a compilation of all Adam scenes - trailers, shorts, and mentions included - it would be 45 minutes long

#rwde #i roughly slapped together a chronological order of the wf/adam video and it was 3 hours #iirc volumes 1-6 including trailers and shorts is abt 20 hours #so the personal arc of one of four titular heroes gets a whopping 15% of screentime and her personal antagonist less than 4%#its so funny how many people will launch a crusade against a character who gets only FOUR PERCENT of the shows runtime while he's alive #and exactly zero of his scenes are actually abt him. we never get to truly meet Adam like we do w Killmonger or Magneto #both of those guys had the first scene of their movies dedicated to their backstory!!! it sets the tone of the whole damn thing!!#but adam doesn't even get exposition. most of his stuff is either shrieked out in song or implied by behavior and scar #this is smth thats in my essay but i cant help but keep gnawing on it like a rabid dog #besides what is the rwde tag if not a testing ground for my arguments

#so my current job is with 3 people that I know from previous jobs #our staff is 6 people #I love my mg as a person but she is so. oh my god.#the company is pretty removed from the stores (within reason) but p much as long as our numbers look good they don’t hover. our dm comes #v rarely and only checks in w mg once a wk-ish. so my mg takes full advantage of this. we r a relatively slow store dgmw but she straight up #ignores shit that needs. to be done? like shipment will just sit there for DAYS and she will do the bare minimum and sit on her phone allday #and go in the back for 15 mins for no reason and then come out on the floor and steal sales and then leave work early and do nothing to help #anyone else make their numbers and then she always has to brag abt things in our district group chat that she like #barely fucking contributes to and like literally EVERYTHING in the store gets done by my AM and I. I am not any type of mg in this store and #I accepted this job fully ok w that. #i can measure because i have an ugly ass line from when i dyed it 2 januaries ago #any my hair has grown max of 15 cm = 5.9 inches in two years #which is half of normal #TRUST ME ive narrowed down all factors here my nails and body hair grows lush and free ive got no deficencies #my scalp just sucks and is lazy as hell #and thats the MAX the hair at my hairline has grown 5cm in 2 fucking years #if only i could transfer the properties of my ass hair to my scalp that shit would grow 4 meters per month #this is why i post hair length updates btw to show that progress is still occurring
