So, I've been doing some thinking. This could either be a meaningless little ramble that no one will care about, or something seen as really dangerous and putting a target on my back.

So, what if we, those most weary of the far right created an international group of activists in light of the US election? See, the thing is that Donald Trump and Elon Musk are very dangerous, but they are also very incompetent and could lead the government down a path that weakens it. It could create a very unique opportunity to address the far right problem and the US Imperialist system itself in one go. Or maybe I'm being overly ambitious.

This group I have in mind would have several purposes, such as keeping communities safe and protecting people from the harm the far right would do in the name of winning the election. Or, most importantly of all, connecting activists from all over the world and allowing us to dismantle the system as a concrete and united movement. Maybe it's just me being naive and hopeful, but maybe it's also something we've all wanted deep down but been too afraid to initialise? If so, maybe this is a sign to really stand up and start trying to make those connections.

Polyamoury isn't normalised at all, even today, in western culture, and monogamy is still the norm for the vast vast majority of human populations. And the few communities in English-speaking countries that permit/encourage it aren't exactly ones that allow queerness. When people say stuff like "you don't have to be polyamourous" in queer spaces it looks as ridiculous as saying "you don't need your own personal elephant."

If a post has that disclaimer on it, it's either a disingenuous concern coming from people who dislike polyamoury and feel it's imposing on them via existing, or because the OP felt the need to coddle that exact type of jackass in their defense of polyamoury

The Wicked Witch of the East

Unlike the Wicked Witch of the West, the Wicked Witch of the East doesn't really have an iconic image aside from a pair of colorful stockings and slippers that either silver or ruby.

Which means there's a lot more creative freedom to design her. Now I know that there are technically official artworks of the Witch of the East, but she all look like a generic old witch with a pointy hat and broomstick. One book from L. Frank Baum, The Tin Woodman of Oz, did mention that the Witch lived in a hut, implying for being the dictator of the Munchkins, her lifestyle was actually quite humble. And that's fine and all, but I feel like a witch who wears silver shoes or ruby slippers should be someone more vain. Someone who adores her looks despite being so old that she literally vaporize into dust upon death and contact with the sun's light.

And few Disney villains come to mind. Madame Medusa, Ursula, and of course, Yzma. I primarily used Yzma as the prime inspiration (you can see it with the pale blue skin and face) and even listen to her cut song Snuff Out the Light, particularly these lyrics:

You really can't blame a girl for trying

Because I viewed her as a vain witch, I had her dressed in a rich blue dress that reminiscent of a 1920s dancer with wild 80s hair and a lot of makeup and dyed hair. Give her the iconic red and white stockings combined with silver decorations to match the shoes (except for a ruby on her ring, which acts as a source of power and a reference to the ruby slippers, and sapphire earrings), and you got yourself a campy, over-the-top tyrant that the Munchkins would be glad to see being squashed by a house.

Not only is Idol Land PriPara going to celebrate its one-year anniversary, they are planning to speed up development and add a lot more stuff!

(The say "moving development to Magi System" and I'm not sure what that means, because I thought Magi System was the developer? I guess they only helped initially and Takara Tomy has been running it themselves this whole time??)

Whatever the case, there will be a big maintenance starting 7/9/24 15:00 JST that won't end until 10:00 the next day.

From now on they are planning seasonal dream grandprix, a way to obtain gold idollars for free, the ability to create multiple characters, 2 and 5-person lives, AR camera...!!

You'll have to agree to the developer change after the maintenance before you can keep playing. If you don't agree for some reason you can get your money back (not sure if it's only for currently owned gold idollars or what).
