Studying linguistics is actually so wonderful because when you explain youth slang to older professors, instead of complaining about how "your generation can't speak right/ you're butchering the language" they light up and go “really? That’s so wonderful! What an innovative construction! Isn't language wonderful?"

Had the amazing opportunity to meet and talk with Tara Billinger (art director of Clone High and co-creator of Long Gone Gulch) ! She is amazing, as a person and her art, please go and follow her on Twitter~ :D
When she was talking with me, she said that Phil Lord was pretty pissed that the show was cancelled, and is pretty serious about bringing it back in some way. He wants another season, but might even do a movie. Tara was saying that because of his influence, there’s a high possibility of him getting his way. It will probably not be with HBOMax, BUT it will most likely be the same team that worked on the last two seasons because that’s how Lord and Miller work; they like to keep the same people.
Anyways, thought that was pretty good news for Clone High fans, so let’s see what the future brings! :D

Things I make for myself when insomnia kicks in
Just a chart about what I wanna change up and keep consistent in my art - I mainly wanna draw Raph with a tail because he deserves one, it fits too well. Donnie gets a long tail too because I didn’t realize how dino-like he looks until I gave him one, and now it’s a must for me haha.

I think I’ve mentioned it before, but I just want to reemphasize that Izuku and Bakugou are very much best friends in this AU. Bakugou didn’t just buy him the console because he needed a healer, lol. He wanted to play with him. Moving into the dorms and seeing him less wasn’t something he liked.
This will come up later, but Bakugou did still bully him. They made amends when they were twelve, after Izuku lost his leg. As such, he’s had about four years of positive, supportive Izuku influence in his life. Because of that, I think he’d be a little bit more emotionally honest and vulnerable. I imagine he probably let the Bakusquad in a little faster than he did in canon.

Me spreading propaganda for everyone to read Absolute Superman 🌀🌀🌀
(There is something about this version of superman that really struck me and had such a big impact on my brain)
#rambling in tags because I can#with the current state of the world in regards to both climate and politics#a story like this in my opinion was needed#superman has always been a character to stand up for ppl who couldn’t fight for themselves#and he’s always represented the idea of fighting against your oppressors#but I think those ideals have been like- lost? writers stopped caring about it#so to see those aspects brought back and highlighted is so important to me#this version of Kal-el is a fighter for the working class and is a living symbol of workers#he wears the symbol of the labour guild with so much pride and- ugh#it’s incredible.
