A little while back, a Dark Road fan/Xehanort simp came upon my post about my Divergence KH3 Xehanort. They did not seem to like it much. But I deleted their comment and just to set the message straight, I will address this to Tetsuya Nomura himself, Tomoco Kanemaki and the folks who made Dark Road, and the game's fans:

Let me make up stuff about my evil boi and enjoy him in peace.

and tragically, rather than seeking to cleanse himself of that and become a better existence, he chose a path that ensured he stayed that embodiment of Xehanort’s evil.

For why this is, I just covered. But I gotta stress just HOW fucking sad it is. Xemnas is a (non)existence made from Terra-Xehanort that, by all logic, should be far more Terra than Xehanort. It's Terra's body and soul, after all. Even the heart that cast itself off from Terra's body was one that began as Terra's heart prior to housing and getting engulfed by Master Xehanort's inner heart that was able to thrive and be sustained thanks to all that darkness that had overcome Terra. And yet, because in this universe the heart = the self, the self that became a Heartless was Xehanort, not Terra, and so it's Xehanort's Nobody who's created in the aftermath. And perhaps he could've been more Terra's Nobody were it not for one factor of his creation:

"Strong heart and will". Terra's Lingering Will became its own entity back at the Keyblade Graveyard, so Terra had no such will still within Terra-Xehanort that would help in the creation of his Nobody. The will was all that of amnesiac Xehanort. But of course even with all that considered, Xemnas still had a choice in the matter for how he wanted to think, behave, and operate as a Nobody...and believing that to even try to feel, that even the semblence of setiment and humanity, would only lead to undesired inner pain and weakness, he chose to disregard such things and covet a heart only for the power and supremacy as an existing being it could grant him. There was a path that could've taken Xemnas to become more like Terra than like Xehanort, and he chose instead a path that only made him all the more like Xehanort, like the man he thought so pitiful and empty.

And it makes no sense that he even has those intentions seeing as prior canon outright pre-emptively contradicted it by telling us otherwise, nor that he'd truly believe his motives and goals to be some noble "greater good" deal 'cause he never gave one flying fuck about morals, peace, order, justice, ethics and all that shit before.

KH3 was so funny for being like "actually Xehanort had noble intentions this whole time" when the dude couldn't stop chortling and cackling because he was having so much fun ruining the lives of teenagers

Lea's a mopely lonely sadsack but I'd not say "95%" one, since a lot of other times he's being bad comic relief, a beligerent, hot-tempered manchild, or just completely useless. But yeah, "hating himself" is far from one of his problems, we all heard what he said to Xemnas.

People absolutely underestimate Rikus potential cryptid energy. We are talking like big “moth man” vibes.

Like he’s my boy, but I’m imagining nights where someone -we will say Aqua- hears noise from the kitchen in the land of departure. when she swings the door open all she sees is these two eyes that catch the light from the hallway.

Aqua yells and turns on the light, keyblade at the ready… only to find Riku standing with a yogurt pot in one hand and a spoon in his mouth.

And Riku’s just like “evening,”.

OR

times when Terra will be looking for him for literal hours only for him to fold out of a dark corner in the rafters like a paper doll. And Terra doesn’t know whether to terrified or impressed.

OR

times when Riku’s dream eater form is triggered (I love that particular fanon) and he’s crawling around and hanging off of ceilings and Roxas and Ven are doubly like “NOT TODAY SATAN”

It would be worse when Sora’s Anti form gets triggered at the same time because then you have one crawling around on the ceiling like some bram stokers nightmare fuel, and the other one crab scuttling across the floor like Gollum on darkness filled steroids. Kairi personally believes she needs a raise. Mostly because she now carries around a spray bottle to stop them from chewing on drapes.
