Let's see what else......... I've been thinking maybe my best style for hair is a bun since it's often that I'll get compliments from older ladies when I do it that way.~

The problem is headaches, if I leave my hair in ponytail or bun too long the pressure will start to give me headaches I know it sounds weird but it is a thing, apparently you can be sensitive or rather your hair can be sensitive which can effect that sorta thing etc.~

Braids, I think I've gotten better recently at braiding my own hair although it doesn't look perfectly glamourous or anything like that~

i’ve noticed alot of queer people place an importance on this. That being ‘accepted’ (even if its under conditions or because the person accepting you doesn’t even know you’re queer) is more important than being yourself.

That we need to do X Y Z to pass as ‘normal’ and then the straightsᵀ��� will respect us and love us and if you have that ‘respect and love’ then what do you have to complain about? that living in this kind of fear and erasure is somehow the goal. Passing isnt a privilege and its a very dangerous game to play. Like OP says. But yet alot of people want it and want it for others even get angry when people dont try to ‘pass’ (especially to trans people). They act as though the people who don’t ‘pass’ are the reason things are so difficult.

“Its too clear ur trans” or “its too clear ur a lesbian” or this that and the other like us being ourselves is inconvenient thus not being the inconvenience is a good thing. Slide by and let no one notice you and you win. You get the passing grade. Idk. Just something i’ve noticed

Honestly if there's ONE thing I wish I could get all queer people to understand is that if you're in a situation where you know everyone would treat you differently, especially to the point of it putting your life in danger, if they found out you're queer, you aren't experiencing privilege, you're in a hostage situation.

Like sorry experiencing "passing privilege" is actually just being trapped in a room with a bloodthirsty t-rex and having people tell you that you should be thankful because thier vision is based on movement and you can just stand still. It's not a privilege to be erased, to have to lie to everyone around you to stay safe-ish, to have to closet yourself because you know even a single step out of line could be the end of your entire world.

None of us should have to be thankful to stand in front of a loaded gun while the person holding it goes "haha, don't worry, I only use this on faggots, and you're not a fag....right?" Like this is not a net good and it has almost nothing in common with actually being part of a privileged group.

Anyway, Happy Pride, let's leave this shit behind.

:( my heated blanket controls seem to have died. Dang it.

They never seem to last more than 6 or 7 months of use, no matter which one i buy, so i pretty much just get the cheapest option anymore.... That's around thirty bucks now, for a throw sized one.

The weather its insane right now. Day before yesterday it was almost 90 degrees, yesterday it was 55 degrees, right now it's 50 degrees. AND I AM FREEZING (not seriously).

I agree that "in Germany your boss legally has to provide you with work while you're at your job" is a bit funny considering the German stereotype. But I am really annoyed at people who act like this is some horrible hypercapitalist thing on that post about pushing people out of their jobs by just not giving them anything to do. When really it's very basic worker protection (within the context of German emplyment law.) Because under most circumstances you can't just be fired from your job. Your employer has to provide a reason for firing you if they want to get rid of you. You also have a right to specifially the work you were hired to do.

So your boss having to give you appropriate work makes illegal any of the following:

a) Making you clean toilets instead of (or in addition to) the clearly defined office job you agreed to do

b) Not giving you work and then firing you for not doing your work

c) Waiting for you to crack under the intense boredom of having to stay on one place with absolutely nothing to do for eight hours a day while your coworkers are roped into it to shun you (or hate you because for some reason you're the only one who doesn't have to do any work) until you quit "voluntarily"

or d) waiting for you to crack under the aformentioned pressure until you do what the people in the notes said they'd do, like watching movies or doing a second job instead which is something you then can be reprimanded and fired for
