Never getting over how Paint the Town Blue and Rebel Heart were wasted on an Act where Jinx doesn't go apeshit even a little, despite having plenty of reason to.

Jinx in S1:

"I'm worried Silco thinks I'm weak." [blows up Enforcers about it]

"I think my sister chose a cop over me." [blows up Enforcers about it]

"I accidentally killed my dad and I'm turning my back on my sister." [blows up the Council about it]

Jinx in S2A1:

"My sister turned bluebelly and is helping her cop girlfriend gas the undercity." [attempts dual-sororicide and blows the Grey into Piltover about it]

Jinx in S2A2:

"My emotional support child who I supposedly developed a deep familial bond with was arrested by Enforcers and taken to prison." [makes quips at and gives the finger to an Enforcer about it?]

Seriously though, a person with zero mental disorders and no abandonment issues would've shown more emotion over having their child/sister arrested than Jinx, notorious overreactor, did. We get one (1) moment of seeing her haunted by her hallucinations and then... nothing. Cool as a cucumber, not even particularly serious, cracking lighthearted jokes and exchanging quips. Who even is this!

And why the hell has Jinx been lying low and refusing to go even a tiny bit ham on the Enforcers when Isha actively wants her to do so. One of Jinx's fundamental character traits is that she has A Person, and she wants to be of value to that person by fulfilling their goals (even if it's in ways they didn't ask of her). So why is she ignoring something Isha really wants her to do! Who even is this!!

And it's not as if Jinx is acting like (kid) Powder either, because you know what Powder did? Build bombs to use on Enforcers. With nails in them!

Hello Mr. Waistcoat! I was wondering if you had any tips on how to make writing more enjoyable? I’m dyslexic, so I struggle to get my thoughts out onto paper, which makes writing extremely challenging and unenjoyable and often leaves my writing not flowing smoothly and scattered. If this weren’t the case, I probably would write a lot more (and not procrastinate essays as much). How do you go about getting your thoughts on paper? Do you have a specific strategy for remembering what you were going to write or for making ideas flow better?

I'm sorry, but I have no tips for this. The process of writing things down is boring and bad to me, but I'm good at it and I hate it significantly less than every other job I've ever had, so I just do it. You don't have to enjoy it if you want to be a writer - you just have to do it.

after i sang that awful service tonight, i was able to catch the very end of my synagogue’s kabbalat shabbat service, just as we got to the mourner’s kaddish. i said kaddish for the hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of jews who have died over the last 2000 years because of christian antisemitism. i said kaddish for my ancestors who lived and died in secret. i think we forget just how enormous a disaster the inquisition was. until the holocaust, it was the single most devastating event in jewish history since the romans destroyed the temple and scattered a large portion of the jewish population into the diaspora. and i cannot express how deeply it bothers me that christians think they no longer have to contend with antisemitism because they can employ someone like me to do their music, but then expect someone like me to sit through a retelling of a story that directly inspired the murder of countless jews over thousands of years. murder at the hands of their ancestors and under the banner of their god. to hear the word “jew” come out of their mouths so many times with such vitriol. and to know that none of them have any idea. it’s. depressing.
