Halloween prompts year 2 day 17

A supervillian had captured a supernatural creature in some kind of device, the entity in question looked like a white haired teen from what they could see of him in the glass sphere he was enclosed in.

The villian was monologing about how they would use the creatures sacred powers to resurrect some evil gods or whatever when the heros intervened knocking him away and accidentally started the machine.

The teen screamed as electricity flowed through his body. Tim ran to him searching for a way to turn off the machine when his hand touched the outside of the sphere.

Unbeknownst to the heros, the machine required a piece of whoever was dead to revive them, it could be hair, blood, bone or even...a memory

That was how Tim, as Robin (or Red Robin whoever you prefer) found himself holding not his mom or dad or anyone you might have expected.

No.

He was holding someone he never thought he'd see again. Someone who didn't even think she was real. Someone who was marveling at her new body made of flesh and blood

there's something about the godly devotion that tim has that only bernard gets, the type that no one could truly get behind. imagine the love he has for him, the kind that no one could replicate. the love bernard gives him, he wants to give ten fold, but no one can top bernard's love unless it's his boyfriend's adoring one and his almost worship-like loyalty that leaves him exasperated yet so much more in love with him.

I am such an easy person to be swayed with anything involving fandoms. Like yes, I WILL here about your very niche specific headcannon you love, and I WILL headcannon it with you! Oh, what's this? A completely different headcannon that completely changes how I originally viewed this character and is completely different from the first headcannon? 100% gonna start headcannoning it!

"The hero must suffer"

Annie. A mysterious woman with blood as black as an oil puddle, which, when consumed, makes a person her obedient thrall for a while. A big fan of reading and writing, she dreams of writing a book worthy of the Gotham Chronicles.

And as her main character, she chose Jerome Valeska. It doesn't matter that he's dead - death is no obstacle in this world of science and supernatural mysteries. What matters is that ahead of the unwitting participant in her "story" lies a breakdown of personality, demons of the past, a challenge to his convictions and a deadly confrontation with enemies, including the "main villain" of the story - Jerome's twin brother, who recently angered Annie with his unbearable behavior... But the reward of being Gotham's main joker is too good to refuse such an adventure, right?

What? Not too good? It doesn't matter, because the hero most often has no choice when fate comes to the door and chooses him for the Great Story, which will be read with bated breath by descendants.

And Annie will do everything necessary to keep Jerome from relaxing, even drag him face down on the asphalt and take away everything he holds on to, break his legs so that he crawls, but shows his will and strength of character, because in any interesting story the hero must suffer.
