I attempted to include her crushes of Flyn Ryder (who dressed up like Iron Man), Loki (dressed up by Tulio), and Hawkeye (John Rofle), and eventually I thought I would include more MAREVLous characters from Avengers Assemble (a show she shared she likes). I attempted to cast characters who I feel fit the personality of the given comic book character, and yes Gaston is the Hulk, NOT Bruce Banner. Happy Halloween! =D Yes they are taking a group selfie. Been thinking about an au where Loki lives in new Asgard and they're trying to build a new bifrost (with Tony and Bruce). Eventually they get it working and Loki, knowing the most about both the original bifrost and this new version, is their first sentient person test subject. It goes two ways; the test works, Loki ends up at the location, the moon, and it helps him slot with getting over his fear of the bifrost, OR, it malfunctions, he ripped through space and time once more, and suddenly he's in the middle of nowhere, freezing, with a limited amount of oxygen in his suit (it's the one red, white and black from Endgame) and he's having a panic attack.

“Tony, come on, he’s harmless,” Bucky pleaded.

Tony stared at him, exhaustion on his face; his eyes drifted to you - you who was sitting comfortably in the lounge, swamped in blankets as Nat walked you through the Gameboy setup. “He kicked you through several walls and threw Sam five feet into the air,” he recounted, “and he punched a hole in a wall by your head.”

“Yeah, that was then,” Bucky said, “this is now; he doesn’t bite.”

“Barnes, he’s a person, not a dog; he could kill us in our sleep,” Tony retorted.

“But he won’t; plus, Steve said yes.”

Tony sighed, “Alright, fine, he can stay, but he’s going into therapy, got it?” Bucky nodded, thanking the man as he turned and left. You were five weeks into recovery, and while your speech pattern had yet to improve further, you’d taken to the base quite well; Bucky rolled his eyes when he spotted Sam by the kitchenette, his eyes deadset on you.

“Quit it,” Bucky hissed. 

Sam shook his head, “Not until I know your boyfriend won’t crawl through the vents and snap our necks.”

“He’s not going to do that. Do you see Nat or me doing that?” Sam just stared at him, and Bucky smirked, happy to have won the argument.

Idk about y'all but speed demon from avengers assemble animation series(earth-12041) feels a lot like a young adult by how he sounds and how ... ¿Playful and childish? he almost seems to be lmao?

Like it's that vibe of a younger character, the voice and all the young prankster he gives off. And the fact that he's age isn't specified like Sam's is in the series. But it kinda shows how absurdly different personalities can be even without a large age gap between characters as meanwhile Sam who gives a more mature, old-soul-kid & a burned-out-gifted-kid kinda vibe imo??

My favourite thing EVER is the little sub fandom that’s currently all of my tiktok fyp of Peter Parker in Gotham.

Like- I could go on for hours about how amazing theses fics are, but even on a sentimental level it’s so fucking cool to see.

Spider-Man (and the MCU in general) was literally my entire childhood. Ultimate Spider-Man? Avengers Assemble? Earth’s Mightiest Heroes? Little six year old me was drawing fanart before I even knew what fanart WAS. Andrew Garfield? #1 Celebrity crush growing up. The Marvel Cinematic Universe? I have my walls covered in posters, my laptop wallpaper is that one Cap vs Thanos’ army scene from endgame and I have an infinity gauntlet lamp on my bedside table.

Recently though, like October 2022, I’ve been obsessed with the batfam and DC in general. Learning as much as I can about the comics, watching all the CW tv shows (including titans) and all the movies. Hell- I’ve been watching shows like Young Justice (which was another childhood show), Teen Titans (03) + the tie-in comics for both, the Justice League animated series, and so many other that I’m blanking on.

It’s so fucking cool to see people who love Spider-Man and Marvel find these fics and start asking how to get into DC and vice versa. Like- humans are so fucking cute man idk T°T

Since the Stark Snark™ in my Last Line post seemed to amuse people and I haven't written much this week, you can have a few sentences of context.

For reference, I'm headcanoning this particular timeline branch as something of a mix between AA and the MCU, so the characters are going to skew more AA-verse but events will be more MCU-verse. Shhhhh just roll with it.

(Side note: If you've never watched the Avengers Assemble animated series, do yourself a favor and watch it.)

“Okay, I know we see a lot of weird, but you can’t tell me that’s not a whole new bucketful of weird. Weird with a side of disturbing.” Steve’s eyebrow judges him over the lip of a glass soda bottle. “Not as disturbing as the fact that you can apparently override Privacy Mode on any room in the Tower.” “They literally appeared out of a magical glowing doorway in a place equipped with enough magical armaments it’d bounce Stephen Strange on his bespelled butt in the middle of the harbor if he even thought about trying to bypass them.” Tony waggles a lit blowtorch at him for emphasis. “Your ethical argument is invalid when it’s my Tower being gatecrashed by a genocidal demi-god and what looks like his financial advisor.”

Disney Branded Television Gives Series Order To “Iron Man And His Awesome Friends” Slated For A 2025 Release On Disney Junior and Disney+.

Disney Jr. has ordered a new animated preschool series Iron Man and his Awesome Friends, the series comes as part of Disney Branded Television and Marvel’s expanded strategy to introduce the iconic Avengers characters and stories to a new generation of fans. The series is currently in production and slated for a summer 2025 premiere on Disney Jr. and Disney+.

Iron Man And His Awesome Friends follows the adventures (and misadventures) of best friends and super geniuses, Tony Stark, Riri Williams and Amadeus Cho as they work together to solve problems both big and small and protect their city. To help them in their Super Hero endeavors, they each have their own Iron Suits that allow them to fly and give them each enhanced super-strength. In addition, Iron Man has a Nano-Shield; Ironheart has a Heartbeat Bubble forcefield to protect people, and Iron Hulk has his strong Iron Boom clap and Iron Hulk Stomp. They work out of their beachfront base, Iron Quarters (IQ), under the supervision of their superpowered android, Vision, and their furry pup, Gamma, who has her very own Iron Pup suit and accompanies the Iron Friends on many of their adventures. The series stars Mason Blomberg (Shameless), Kapri Ladd (Danger Force) and Aidyn Ahn (Kids Say the Darndest Things) as the voices of Tony Stark (Iron Man), Riri Williams (Ironheart) and Amadeus Cho (Iron Hulk), respectively. David Kaye (Transformers) voices the role of Vision, and Fred Tatasciore (Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur) voices Gamma. Additional characters and casting will be announced at a later date. Marvel’s Iron Man and his Awesome Friends is executive produced by Sean Coyle (Puppy Dog Pals) and Harrison Wilcox (Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends). James Eason-Garcia (Pupstruction) is co-executive producer and story editor, Alex Cichon (Lego Marvel: Spider-Man: Vexed by Venom) is supervising producer; Ashley Rideout (Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends) is producer, and Michael Dowding (Hello Ninja) is supervising director. Let's talk about the Avengers Assemble series.

I think the only reason it couldn't get a season 6 was because it was giving fans all the things the MCU couldn't/didn't. And filmmakers didn't like that. Seriously:

- It had a lot more of Falcon being an awesome dude (even had Falcon's mom bring them cookies on his first day)

- It had much more focus on Hawkeye and his cool sass and cool archery. He invented new arrows regularly.

- It had Stony. Lots of it. Absolutely made up for the near-complete lack of Stucky (because the movies already have that)

- Hawkeye being Stony shipper #1

- It had Black Widow being much better than in the movies (no sexist/objectifying portrayal of her)

- It actually explored the daily lives of the Avengers. Thor and Hulk fighting over peanut butter. Hawkeye enjoying said peanut butter while watching them fight. Steve and Tony doing training together. Steve and Tony talking about stuff. Lots of stuff.

- Tony used to pretend to be Captain America as a kid. There were pictures. There's a scene where Steve lends his shield to Tony during practice to see what he does with it.

- Hulk collects glass figurines in this universe. And keeps his room squeaky clean. And has a titanium blanket. Bruce is still a fucking genius.

- There were villains who haven't even been in the MCU yet.

- It ended its version of Civil War on a better note. Aka Steve and Tony team up for the bigger fight instead of acting like toddlers.

- Defeating Thanos was much easier here.

- It explored Steve's past and actually showed a more human side of him.

- It showed Steve painting portraits of all his teammates (aww) and also getting frustrated when his paintings don't turn out right (which is accurate and a much needed thing to show)

- It had him staying in the present (even after a time-space glitch caused Peggy and Howard to end up in the 21st century). Not that Steve didn't want to go back with her, he just chose the more sensible option.

- There were better jokes.

- All of them were attractive, even in animation. (I fell in love with AA!Steve first and AA!Clint is the reason I had a crush on the archer for a while)

- It did underrated characters justice.

- It was going great (really, 13 stars out of 10)

But that's why they shut it down.

Because too good wasn't okay for them.
