I kinda have this comfort headcanon that Mike is genderfluid cause I like projecting my own identity/sexuality onto my fav characters and cause I need some wholesome and gender accepting content (More under the cut)

I feel like Mike has just recently discovered he was genderfluid because he never really thought about questioning his identity cause really...his mind was always full with other things. Maybe he randomly read the word and the definition somewhere and it just...clicked. Or Ness, who's really into the subject rambled about some terms anf what they meant and he went like: "Hold on, thats me!"

He usually just sticks with hoodies/plain shirts no matter what he's feeling like cause it's the safest option...and because he cant afford that many outfits anyways.

When he told Abby, he struggled to find the right words, afraid she wouldn't understand but she does. Kids are smart

Mike told her over dinner and it probably went sth like: "So sometimes I have a big brother and sometimes I have a big sister?" "Uh, yes..." "And sometimes you're neither?" "...yes." "Cool. Can I have some more soup?"

We already know she's creative and likes to draw, maybe she's interested in anything that has to do with crafting and makes pins/bracelets in different colors or sth for Mike in school that he can wear so she knows which pronouns to use.

And to throw in some securitywaiter:

Mike was already dating Ness when he found out he was genderfluid because Ness is really invested with everything that has to do with the LGBT community. He's loud and proud and loves to go to pride parades and stuff. He also introduced him to all the different terms.

When Mike told him, he was really supportive. He even lets Freddie wear a bandana with the genderfluid flag most of the rime to show his support and Mike still wonders where he got it.

Ness changes pet names and compliments depending on how Mike feels

Mike feeling pretty euphoric when she hears a "Hey beautiful" or simply the word "girlfriend" on a girl day

Mike cant really choose a good name for such days, she'd just stick with Mikey or Michel, but feels like they're too plain. Abby and Ness saw it as their job to pick the perfect name and have already spent enough time doing research on different names and their meaning

For some reason I feel like Ness would be good with Make Up and would offer to do her Make Up or help her when she wants to try out something else

Mike actually struggles most days to detect what they're feeling like and just groans in frustration when Ness asks them (cause thats a whole mood) and Ness sticks with neutral terms of endearment when that is the case or uses the funniest pet names ever lmao "Okay, today is just a cute potatoe day then." "Hello my beloved gremlin." etc

Evolved a fic idea yesterday from a simple, Eva’s sick, Richie argues with Carmy and leaves to take care of her anyway fic to a longer one that's making my whumpy heart leap.

Tiff and Frank are out of town for his sister’s wedding. Carmy already didn’t let Richie have this Saturday off because "we have a shift schedule for a reason, you’re off every other Saturday already," so he's dropping her off at a friend's for a sleepover.

He gets a call from the mum at midday saying Eva’s been sick. He races over there to pick her up despite what Carmy says and fully prepares to just drive home but realises he left some of his things in his locker in his panic to leave.

When he gets back, he sets Eva down, goes to get his things, and gets in another argument with Carmy because he's not letting him leave, he doesn’t get why Tiff’s parents can't have her. Richie flips out, telling Carmy that his daughter is infinitely more important to him than this restaurant, that he'd set it on fire to make sure she was okay.

He takes her home, promising to make her Galushki like his grandma made him when he was sick, and tells Carmy he'll see him on Tuesday.

Eva doesn't get better. Richie’s trying hard not to panic, getting her to eat little bits, keep her fluids up even when she throws it up, her fever doesn't break. She's sick in the night, Richie’s reminded of Mikey’s bad nights as he cleans it up, and holds her through nightmares when she sleeps in his bed.

It's only in the morning, when she’d talking to Mikey, and has a rash that doesn't go away when he rolls a glass on it that he gets worried. He's getting up to call her doctor when she slumps on the sofa and starts seizing and he fully freaks out, shaking her, asking her to wake up, please Eva, baby, wake up.

He picks her up, grabs her sleepover bag and some essentials and speeds his way to the hospital where he carries her to the triage nurse trying not to cry and throw up begging her to do something because his baby girls way more sick than he thought.

They check her out, take some bloods, do a throat swab and even do a lumbar puncture that has Richie desperately trying not to cry as Eva cries all the way through. She's started on IV antibiotics and moved to her own room in the ER while they wait for a room in the paediatrics unit.

Richie calls Tiff, she and Frank are on the next flight home. They get the results soon after, she has meningococcal disease, a kind of meningitis. He's confused, she's had all her vaccines. The doctor explains there's a low chance with all vaccines that you get catch the disease, and that if she’s been in a communal space recently she has more of a chance. He mentions how she went to ballet camp recently.

Richie updates the work group chat. They’re all panicked. Eva gets a room and Tiff arrives. Eva gets a scan on her head to see if there’s any damage. There isn't any and they have to go home when visiting hours are over. Richie, 3 Xanax in, has a horrific panic attack when he gets home, and gets no sleep.

The Bear crew show up with food and support, but Richie tells them to keep their distance as it's very contagious. He cries to Tina about how he keeps thinking about how small she was in the bed, how scared she must've been all night alone, about the high mortality rate.

He doesn't go into work for the week she’s in hospital, Carmy forcibly keeps him off anf apologises, he wants to visit but they're limiting contact. They go home, after she has lots of tests to see if there’s any permanent affects. There are none. Eva doesn't like doctors for a long time, Richie hates hospitals but buys a thank you gift for the entire team who looked after her and is terrified to let Eva out of his sight

Loud bangs and groaning are heard from the training room where Raph is training on a training dummy with his powers while the younger turtles peeked from the corner. Looking at the oldest turtle in concern. Raph was starting to overwork himself with the day and night shifts, fighting crime is no such easy thing. Especially when it's holidays, crime RISES when it's snow - show time (pun intended) and Raph is always there, patrolling and beating crime. So naturally the younger brothers are concerned. So they plan to somehow talk to Raph and try to make him see, that Raph is burning himself out.

The younger brothers sneak from behind Raph, ready to talk to them. Before the oldest brother said.

❤️: Guys. I know you guys are behind me.

Raph said before turning around and looking at them curiously but also a bit annoyed for them to interrupt his training. The 3 turtles looked at their older brother before the red slider said.

💙: Hii Raph uh um we need to talk about your...stink-

🧡:Your burn stink, you're burning yourself out Raph!

❤️:What?? No!! Raph is fine!!

Raph said crossing his arms as Donnie butted in.

💜:But brother this week you fought off 78% more criminals alone then with us. Which is a LOT dear brother.

Raph scoffed rolling his eyes and turning around to the training dummy. The younger turtles knew he woudnt open up to them unless they did something, so, Mikey had a idea, he used his chains to stop Raph from punching the dummy and pulled him onto the floor before getting on top of him and starting to scratch the turtles neck making Raph giggle.

By then the twins joined in, Donnie tickling Raphs shell while Leo tickled his sides. Making Raph start hysterically laugh and snort.

Leo has PTSD which caused her insomnia

Mikey has vision problems

Donnie would have scoliosis and uses walking canes

2. Im not good with giving characters ages lol but Leo would probably be 17 about, Raph and Donnie being about 15-16 and Mikey being around maybe 5-6

3. Both Kraang anf Shredder are in my interation/au yeah‼️neither are "the good guys" lol

4. All of them would react differently

Mikey would be the most interested in talking to them/being friends and probably want to touch their hair(he likes hair lol)and be very social

Leo would be cautious but try to be respectful and friendly

Donnie and Raph would be more distant, Raph would talk more but probably be snappy/seem annoyed. Donnies not very social around people physically so they'd have to talk to Donnie first lol

ok actually i've had a ask (from @gnarlyimp) sitting around asking me what my favorite peach pit songs AND ablums are so I'll just give it to you :3

ALBUMS

Being So Normal

first Peach Pit album i listened to in full, has the first Peach Pit song I listened to on it (Being So Normal....little did i know this would become a 3 year long interest), has some of my favorites on there (Chagu's Sideturn, Alrighty Aphrodite) and one of their most not-Peach-Pit-songs, Private Presley and Hot Knifer (in a good way) plus my DREAM song to see them play live (Not Me) (plus how they reuse the bridge lyrics in Black Licorice WOW). Also an awesome story about the title (they were criticized for "being so normal" based off their first EP (Sweet FA) so its especially cool to see how they experimented in this one) Plus this was the documentary era where Mike feeds Chris boiled eggs which is awesome....AND ITS GOT TOMMY'S PARTY WHO COULD FORGET...

2. You and Your Friends/From 2 to 3

I CAN"T PICK OK..........YAYF has some bangers on there + lots of improvement from BSN, I love all the riffs and Shampoo Bottles and Black Licorice are ICONIC....plus the guitar on all the tracks is AMAZING but especially Brian's Movie (and Chris' 12 string guitar), Thrusday, You and Your Friends, Figure 8 and Psychics in LA....

BUT FROM 2 TO 3 holds a special place in my heart....I love the story behind Up Granville's riff (Chris reused it from a song he wrote 15 years ago and it saved the track), it was the first album i was there to see them release, I like the different tone they took with it + Mike's harmonica solo in Look Out! is so so so so awesome....

3. Sweet FA

this one is a bit unfair because it was the first EP/Album they released and it DOES have some iconic ones on there of course (Seventeen, Sweet FA (+ the music videos for these are great)) but its also got......the first version of Drop the Guillotine......ew...

HONORABLE MENTIONS

Figure 8 - this one was pretty close, I'd swap it out most likely with Private Presley because they're on the same level (I just love the slow intro in the live performances + the guitar of course)...live version makes me cry everytime i listen to it

Pepsi on the House - this is probably my 10-8th favorite Peach Pit song, big fan of the lyrics anf guitar

Look Out! - love the beginning part, plus the music video is great (Chris fell off the truck while they were recording so instead of panning to a beautiful sirene landscape, it just shows Chris running really fast)...THE HARMONICA SOLO....

honestly From 2 to 3 just in general has some really good songs

Brian's Movie - this one is an EXTREMELY CLOSE 5......the slider/Chris' guitar playing.....the lyrics........Peter in their live video....its all so good

THE FINAL DECISION 1. Hot Knifer

honestly this one hasn't ALWAYS been my top song....but recently, with the addition of Dougal's violin in their live performances AND Chris' beautiful solo has me captivated...plus Peter's vocals and bass playing during the chorus + with the solo is BEAUTIFUL..!!!!! PLUS PLUS PLUS IN RECENT LIVE PERFORMANCES MIKEY'S BEEN PLAYING A HARMONICA SOLO......this song literally could not get better...i kind of doesnt sound like a peach pit song but thats what makes it good..ITS DIFFERENT.....AND IN THIS VIDEO Peter and Chris play together and its so sweet. The world is a beautiful place

2. Up Granville

This one is mainly because its just so beautiful....the music video makes me cry everytime i watch it, I love the slow beginning of the intro and then all the instruments joining at once....the whole thing is about loving your friends.....its the origin of the album cover..the fact that the riff is reused from when Chris was 15 and thats how the whole song came together......WHAT IF I CRIED.....i love hearing the croud sing the chorus too.. thats how its supposed to be heard in my opinion

3. Not Me

some of my favorite aspects of this song are similar to hot knifer (the non-peach pit sound, catchy riff, the lyrics that they reused in Feelin' Low (F*ckboy Blues) will never NOT be cool to me) but i ADORE this distortion and lead up to the solo.....definitely one of my top peach pit solos. Sadly they've never played it live (that i can find anyways) but it seems like SUCH A COOL SONG to see live. but who knows. a man can always hope :) OH AND THE SOUND CLIP IN THE BEGINNING IS GREAT. I love when songs intro with a clip. and the outro is sick as hell

4. Private Presley

pretty similar to Not Me and Hot Knifer in terms of why i like it. its based off Elvis Presely which is cool. Dougal also plays violin in this one......GODDDDD the solo means everything to me. I love seeing them play it live and how much they move around. man and just seeing Chris shred the solo is the most inspring thing in the world...he moves up and down the fretboard like its BUTTER. and the distortion...who could forget

5. Being So Normal/Alrighty Aphrodite

I'm counting this as two because these songs are connected when they preform them live OK......Being So Normal has such an iconic riff and the lyrics are SO FUCKING GOOD..............I <3 the transition from Chris' loop to the bass line like WOW!!!!!!!! + the bass in Alrighty Aphrodite is definitely one of my favorites, plus the solo that Chris does is AWESOME and i love Neil's dancing in their live performances...!!!! ALSO THE TRANSTION FROM RAINING BLOOD TO BEING SO NORMAL IS SOMETHING THAT WILL NEVER NOT BE COOL TO ME....

Donnie kam mit seinen Bo Stab auf mich zu gesprintet. Doch ich kannte ihn und wusste was er tun würde. Kurz bevor er mich erreichen würde würde er seinen Stab benutzen und mich damit versuchen zu treffen. Ich sprintete ebenfalls auf ihn zu und genau im letzten Moment als Donnie anfing seinen Stab zu bewegen. Ließ ich mich auf den Boden Fall und schlichterer unter seinem Angriff hindurch. Ich holte mit meinem Bein aus und trat ihm ein Bein weg sodass auch er auf den Boden viel. Ich fing an stärker zu atmen. Das Training gegen alle machte mir doch ganz schön zu schaffen. Doch ich hatte keine Zeit zum ausruhen. In der nächsten Sekunde griff mich Mikey und Raph gemeinsam an. Ich wehrte Mikeys Angriffe mit meinem Fächer ab und Raphs Sai mit meinem Tekken. Ich schaffte es Sie im richtigen Moment zu erwischen und Sie mit einer speziellen Fingertechnik auszuschalten. „Ruht euch etwas aus Jungs.“ sagte ich zu ihnen während Sie bewegungsunfähig auf dem Boden lagen. „Ich kann mich nicht mehr bewegen. Leo und ich kämpften sehr hart gegeneinander. Ich gab mein bestes und kämpfte so gut ich konnte. Doch Leo besiegte mich schlussendlich. „Oh man fast. Fast hätte ich dich gehabt.“ sagte ich keuchend am bodenliegend. „Das war sehr gut April. Mit ein bisschen mehr Training schaffst du das bestimmt.“ sagte Leo lächelnd. „Das war echt krass April.“ sagte Mikey zu mir. „Danke gebt mir 5 min. dann kann ich wieder reden.“ sagte ich lachend und völlig fertig. „Na war wohl doch nicht so leicht wie du dachtest.“ stachelte Raph. „Leo, Mikey und Donnie waren schwer. Bei dir war es ein Kinderspiel.“ stachelte ich zurück. „Na warte beim nächsten Training nehm ich dich doppelt so hart ran.“ entgegnete er mir. „Das hast du super gemacht April.“ sagte Donnie zu mir beugte sich zu mir runter und gab mir einen Kuss auf die Stirn. Leo streckte mir seine Hand entgegen. Ich nahm Sie und er half mir auf. „Also wie sieht’s aus. Ich bin bereit für die 2 Ninja Stufe.“ sagte ich aufgeregt zu Leo. „Das war heute sehr gut April, aber du bist noch nicht so weit.“ antwortete Leo mir. „Was ach komm schon Leo. Du weißt wie gut ich kämpfe. Immerhin war das ja kein echter Kampf.“ entgegnete ich ihm. „Tut mir leid April. Aber ich bin sicher beim nächsten Mal schaffst du’s.“ versuchte er mich aufzumuntern. „Leo, das kann nicht dein Ernst sein. Ich weiß ich bin gut genug um mit der 2 Ninja Stufe anzufangen. Ich hab immerhin noch meine Kräfte und auf der Spirituellen Ebene bin ich euch weit voraus.“ fing ich an mit ihm zu diskutieren. „April, ich bin dein Anführer und wenn ich sage du bist noch nicht soweit dann bist du noch nicht so weit.“ sagte Leo hart zu mir. „Ach ja und was sagt ihr dazu Jungs? Ihr seht das doch genau so wie ich oder?“ fragte ich Raph, Mikey und Donnie. „Sorry April aber Leo hat recht.“ sagte Raph direkt. Ich sah ihn ungläubig an. Dann sah ich hoffnungsvoll zu Mikey. „Was ist ist mir Mikey?“ fragte ich ihn. „Naja April, du solltest Leo bei seiner Entscheidung vertrauen.“ sagte er nur. Dann wanderte mein Blick zu Donnie. „Donnie, was denkst du?“ fragte ich ihn voll Hoffnung. „Tut mir leid April. Ich denke Leo hat recht.“ sagte er traurig zu mir. „Wow, das kann nicht euer Ernst sein.“ sagte ich zu ihnen wütend und verschränkte meine Arme.
