Rating all the cabins by how they are as patience on average according to me Will Solace

Cabin 1: 5/10 (I’ve only had Jason as a patient but he is constantly getting concussions to the point I had to make him wear a helmet cause he’d refuse)

Cabin 2: there are no members of cabin 2

Cabin 3: 2/10 (Percy oh my gods stop doing dumb shit and sending armies of people to the infirmary during capture the flag)

Cabin 4: 9/10 (they are great. They listen to me. A lot of the meditation comes from plants so they help a lot)

Cabin 5: 3/10 (not only do they get sent to the infirmary all the time but you also suck as patients cause so many lie about their symptoms to seem tough. Don’t tell me the pain is a 0 out of 10 when I am looking at your broken hand)

Cabin 6: 6/10 (sometimes they are the best patients and listen to me and give me detailed descriptions of their pain and symptoms. Other times they think they know more than me and try to “um actually” me.)

Cabin 7: 1/10 (doctors are the worst patients and that applies here)

Cabin 8: idk I’ve never had a hunter of Artemis patient

Cabin 9: 4/10 (stop doing dumb shit! A lot of injuries from their inventions malfunctioning. Sometimes won’t go to the infirmary until they finish an invention)

Cabin 10: 7/10 (pretty good patients. Sometimes will be annoying or try to flirt/set you up with someone while you are working. But so long as you give them pretty bandages or cast/slings they are fine)

Cabin 11: 6/10 (actually good patients a lot of the time. Help proverbs a lot of the stuff in the infirmary. The Stoll brothers lower the rating though because their pranks send a lot of patients my way)

Cabin 12: 7/10 (good patients surprisingly. Listens very well. Though sometimes struggles to explain their symptoms but they try their best)

Cabin 13: 10/10 (the best patients. So great. They are amazing. I’m not biased what are you talking about)

Ω PJO DEMIGOD HEADCANONS: 🌕 ARTEMIS: Goddess of the Hunt and Wilderness, Archery, Moon, Maidenhood and Childbirth 🏹

author's note: I had a sudden idea about writing some headcanons Camp Halfblood demigods being claimed and what it's like for each respective god and cabin, followed by a small blurb afterwards. You’ve become one of Artemis’ ‘children’ as you joined the hunters of Artemis and became part of the sisterhood. 

For the most part, it’s a pretty nomadic way of living. You’re constantly on the move, hunting animals and monsters with your fellow sisters and companions. It's pretty comfy and the tents they set up are great (they also have full blown washrooms somehow, so no need to forgo running water) so it feels like glamping. But every now and again, Artemis takes you guys to stop by Camp Half-blood. 

Say what you will, there's something being stationary and sleeping in an actual building, in actual beds. 

You see the curious eyes watching you and your group, but they keep their distance given boys are off-limits and girls either look at you with awe or disdain. 

Y'know how the Apollo cabin often has archery matches with the Huntresses? Although they don't particularly become any closer, there is some sort of connection between your cabins. Probably because Artemis and Apollo are twins, and Apollo's children don't seem particularly attracted to your group, so there's something there. 

You take part and help out with the annual recruitment at the Camp. Teaching other potential maidens about what it's like being a Huntresses. You're told that they always have one interested individual that joins them by the time they leave camp.

Braids are often a common hairstyle among the hunt, aside from ponytails. Being on the move doesn’t allow much time to dwell on hair aside from basic hair care, so keeping it in a braid is often more of convenience. There’s usually a mass hair-washing station and it becomes a group bonding experience. All the hunters help braid your hair and teach you other styles along the way, and it’s not uncommon to see a hair braiding train. This often also leads into storytelling time and devolving much like a sleepover, bringing a certain sense of nostalgia.

You know you’ve become part of the hunters when Artemis asks you to help braid her hair. Your hands will shake and you will stutter, but as she encourages your hands to weave her hair, you feel honoured and the barrier between her and you is less daunting. 

Other than Dionysus, people feel envious and are curious what it’s like being around a god so often. Artemis accompanies you on your hunts more often than not, and usually is not around when she has to attend a council with the other Olympians or tend to her nightly duties. It’s a see-saw of perception being around Artemis; on one hand, you’re aware of who she is but on the other hand, when you’re hunting together or when she joins you with the other hunters, you forget she’s a deity.  

If you joined in when Zoe is a lieutenant, she is strict but fair. She is the ultimate big sister of the sisterhood. She may seem a bit cold to you but as she helps guide your shooting stance and gives you tips, tells you to zip up your parka or checks your supplies, you know she cares for you like a sister. In fact, you notice she seems more at ease as she looks after you and your sister…it makes you think if she had biological sisters. 

When Thalia is now the lieutenant, it takes some time to get used to. There’s a bit of friction and gap, since Zoe was in that position for over 2000 years. However, Thalia is confident and has the qualities of a leader, so her stumbles become sprints. She is different from Zoe in how they bond with the sisterhood, but if Zoe was the cool, proud sister, then Thalia is the fun, laughable sister that wouldn’t hesitate to give you a noogie.  

You looked upon the silver lady, her entourage of people behind her. The moon was full behind her head, bestowing a glow on her and you were just in awe to be in her shadow. 

A tall and graceful girl stepped forward and she regarded you with a pointed look. “If you wish to join our lady and our hunt, you must pledge yourself from romantic love and swear loyalty to Lady Artemis and our sisterhood.”

You nodded as she nodded back. “Recite this oath: I pledge myself to the Goddess Artemis. I turn my back on the company of men, accept eternal maidenhood, and join the Hunt.”

You recited this pledge and the girl with moonlike qualities smiled. “I, Artemis, accept this pledge. Welcome sister to the Hunt. As long as you remain as one of my Hunters, and are not slain in battle, you will not die under my watch.”

The other hunters cheered for you as you nodded. The other girl stepped forward with a warmer smile and held out her hand to you. 

“My name is Zoe Nightshade, lieutenant of Lady Artemis. Welcome to our sisterhood.”

artemis cabin headcanons

the hunters of artemis

• when a hunter join the hunt, they no longer get periods as a blessing from artemis. (another reason to become a hunter?? jk i love women WAY too much).

• obviously, they’re all feminists.

• most of them can't take sexist jokes, so be careful unless you want to get shot with an arrow.

• they keep in touch with the girls that have left the hunt.

• when two hunters fall in love, artemis usually shows mercy, knowing the vow spoke of leaving behind the company of men not women.

• they’ve definitely bumped into the valkyrie on more than one occasion. artemis doesn’t like them very much because she doesn’t want her hunters to become einherjar.

• she’d rather they have the peace and calmness that they deserve.

• much like the camp half-blood necklace beads, the hunters have charm bracelets. they get a charm in the shape of a moon once they arrive and then a star shaped one every ten years they serve artemis.

• trans girls are ALWAYS accepted into the hunt.

• but if a trans guy wants to join the hunt (pretransition), artemis will straight up refuse to take them, subsequently kicking of their gender crisis.

• she’ll also do this with pretransition trans women (to their great confusion).

• the minimum age to become a hunter is sixteen, unless there are special circumstances (it just doesn’t sit right with me that most of the hunters are in their preteens).

• this is a big decision and shouldn’t be made at such a young age. let these girls go through puberty and find out whether they really want to forsake men forever.

• plus, it’d actually benefit the hunters to be more physically mature; they’d be a lot stronger and therefore faster due to the muscle development.

• they have a hotline number that women can call if they feel extremely uncomfortable or fearful in a situation.

• they'll discretely escort her out and then beat the shit out of whoever is scaring her. <33

cabin exterior

• the cabin is primarily made of wood, with vines and ivy creeping up its sides, blending seamlessly with the surrounding forest.

• the cabin's roof is adorned with silver tiles that shimmer like moonlight, casting a gentle glow at night.

• carvings of various wild animals, such as deer, wolves, and bears, are intricately etched into the wooden walls, symbolizing artemis's connection with nature and wildlife.

• during the day, the cabin appears almost invisible from a distance, thanks to its natural camouflage of leaves and branches, making it a perfect sanctuary for the hunters.

• the entrance is flanked by banners with the symbol of the moon and arrows, representing artemis's hunting prowess and her role as the goddess of the moon.

• hidden paths and trails lead from the cabin into the deeper parts of the forest, allowing the hunters to come and go without being seen.

cabin interior

• the walls and floors are made of polished wood, giving the cabin a warm and rustic feel. the wood is adorned with carvings of forest scenes and animals.

• soft, silvery lanterns hang from the ceiling, casting a gentle glow reminiscent of moonlight. at night, these lights give the cabin a tranquil, otherworldly ambiance.

• the bunks are arranged in a circle around a central hearth. each bunk has a curtain made of light, airy fabric, providing privacy while allowing the occupants to feel connected to the room.

• the decor includes tapestries and rugs featuring scenes of forests, wildlife, and the moon. the cabin is filled with plants, flowers, and small potted trees, making it feel like an extension of the forest outside.

• each hunter has a personal space to store their gear. this includes a rack for bows and quivers, hooks for coats, and shelves for other hunting equipment.

• the central hearth is always burning with a controlled, magical flame that provides warmth and light. it's surrounded by comfortable seating made of logs and animal pelts, perfect for gathering and sharing stories.

• a section of the cabin is dedicated to practicing archery and other skills. it includes targets, dummies, and plenty of space for physical training.

• one corner of the cabin has shelves filled with books about nature, wildlife, and mythology, along with maps of various hunting grounds and sacred sites.

cabin traditions

• they have an annual remembrance day on the first full moon of june where they honor the fallen hunters of that year. artemis always ensures that there is a beautiful strawberry moon lighting up the sky.

• when they visit camp half-blood, they to have archery contests with the apollo kids (and other kids that have archery skills). they share their advanced skills and techniques, often leading to informal training sessions where the campers learn new tips and tricks from them.

• they hold special training sessions particularly focused on survival skills, hunting tactics, and self-defense. these sessions are a blend of physical training and imparting the wisdom of living harmoniously with nature.

• the hunters hold workshops on making traditional hunting gear, such as bows and arrows, and other crafts related to their way of life. these workshops are hands-on and give campers a tangible connection to the hunters' lifestyle.

Cabin 8- The Hunters of Artemis - Headcanons

Once camp is set up, the hunters like to roast marshmallows, make smores, try to see how many marshmallows can fit in their mouths and try to stay up all night

They also like to 'argue' during battles like "Thalia why would you bring 11 arrows to a battle?!" "I don't know Eliza! Hawkeye did it once in a film!" "Who the hell is hawkeye!"

After Zoë had gone, each hunter, when they think everyone else is asleep at night, likes to look up at the stars and mourn the death of their fallen sister, even Artemis

They're all very welcoming of trans girls pledging their aligence to Artemis

Every hunter is banned from all target shops from when Thalia started a game and wrecked the shop

After Thalia had fallen in battle, it became a story of how Lieutenant Thalia Grace was given a great prophercy went nope and joined the hunters

At one point, an aro/ace camper decides she wants to join the hunt and Artemis gives her the whole speech of having to swear off men and her response was so sarcastic and sassy it would've made Percy proud like "oh what a shame". Artemis immediately sees her potential

She became the lieutenant after Thalia

Thalia had mentioned Reyna to Artemis, who then wanted a private chat with her, Nico was there when Reyna was told and stopped her begging she didn't go, they last person he knew who talked to Artemis privately was Bianca

Sometimes Artemis will randomly turn up to the Apollo cabin to tell embarrassing stories about her brother

she’s so proud of the fact that you two are together and that she’s YOUR girlfriend

she would scream it from the rooftops if you’d let her. she would do anything you asked, she’s obsessed!

she’s super protective of you and will beat anyone up who hurts or makes you uncomfortable. same with anyone who flirts with you, they brush your waist? boom. now they have 3 broken fingers.

this goes vice versa, if anyone flirts with her she’ll shut them down immediately and let you go off at them if that’s what you want.

so in short, you’re both super possessive of each other and get jealous easily. honestly, couple goals 🤝

communication is everything to her! as her mother didn’t really respect her boundaries, she needs to know what you do and don’t like. same with you knowing what she’s uncomfortable with. that’s why your relationship is so great: you talk things through instead of getting angry at each other!

(i’m not letting any ‘doomed yuri angst, they can’t communicate and break up’ shit happening around here. my heart couldn’t take it.)

speaking of past family, her current one matters a lot to her. she would absolutely love if you and annabeth got a long, but if you didn’t she’d be fine with you guys at least not hating each other. (though of course annie loves you, you’re awesome!!!!)

Start Here

With my orange sweater on and my eagerness to find the person who stole my sweater only rising, I make my way to the ocean. During the walk I slowly begin to remember who it was exactly that STOLE my sweater. A kid.

Sighing, I decide to take a small detour to calm myself down so I don't end up snapping at the poor guy who was just trying to have some fun. I find my way to a small patch of flowers and pick some for myself, smiling. At least now I am calm enough too-

I imagine becoming a fish, Xevers gotten more used to Dresses and skirts since it’s kinda hard to wear pants with a fish torso tail and robo legs
