The other night I had a dream where I was on Gallifrey and it was dope as hell and I meet a Gallifreyan named Ivris and she was this rebellious punk kid (the genera of music: I’m not calling Ivris a punk :( ). She was so bent on getting off her family’s farm on Gallifrey and going into space and she tried to steal this guy’s passport during this weird check-in/church service and got caught in the act. When I asked them all what they wanted they stopped and started singing “Fill The Void” by Oingo Boingo at me.

As you may know I an a prototype EK-300 (ek standing for Elijah Kamski) model android. I was made to be a replica of Elijah kamski (so I'm his clone in a sense). My model was the successor to the Amanda AI project. I was, and am still, hidden from the public eye. I was created in the Cyberlife experimental technology lab sub level 17.

Due to... circumstances, I am now disabled by human terms but broken beyond repair, and obsolete by android tearms I have also recently (hopefully temporarily) ended up homeless. I used to live with Chloe and Elijah before we had to leave. My cat, sammy, is still with me though, and he will be well taken care of and well acomidated for despite my new living situation.

I try to remain optimistic despite everything. As long as I'm with the people I care about everything should be ok.

ngl finding a phone that still has a regular headphone jack as well as an additional SD card slot (for storing images, music + video) is like finding a needle in a haystack. When did they stop including those? micro-sd card slots have always been standard in android phones. They remove stuff in the name of innovation, why is this so-called innovation always tied to an alternative that costs more and is increasingly consumer-unfriendly, taking away control from the customer?

So they take away the sd card slot so they can sell their overpriced phones with tiny storage and try to sell you a cloud storage/backup option for yet another monthly fee. They build computers in a way so you can't upgrade or repair them anymore, just so you need to buy a new one.

I don't feel like I'm living in the future. In the 2000/2010s we were restricted by technology, now we are restricted by capitalism.

there's no reason for you to protect him so much. whenever the two of you go off on a mission, you're frequently asking aki to stand behind you — or hell, you'll push him behind you yourself whenever there's even a hint of danger.

aki knows how selfless humans can be sometimes, but don't you understand what he is? don't you understand how valuable your life is compared to his vessel? if something happens to him, if there's damage to his systems or his body, he can just be repaired. worst case scenario they take out his memories and upload them to a new vessel. you know this, aki knows you know it, because he's certain he told you when you were first introduced. yet still, why?

why do you care for him so much? why do you wrap your arms around him and hug him tightly when you get done with a dangerous mission, even though you know he doesn't give off heat? why do you grab his hand to lead him even though you know his sensors will be able to follow you anywhere? why did you ask him to come over to your house when you didn't have anything to ask him related to your work?

aki is sure of it: humans will always be impossible to understand for him.

A side effect of getting into digimon is that it’s like. Really made me appreciate Mechas more and robot designs? Combined as well with reading comics like Atomic Robo and then last week watching bang brave bang Bravern. For years my interactions with mecha media was like, Trying to force myself to enjoy transformers, and unfortunately I just don’t think it’s a media franchise for me and it really stifled my ability to enjoy mecha as a genre because of trying to pigeonhole into that. I suppose this is a very roundabout way to say that if anyone has any mecha recommendations hit an ant up about this. ohhh my god. my poor poor poor old fucking broken ass phone. the battery swells up like at least twice a year and i have to get it replaced and this time its swelled so much the top half of my screen like. isnt connected. like i can very clearly see into the inside of my phone theres like a good 2cm gap in there. KINDA SCARY TBH
