I broke my phone case a while ago (I'm v hard on my objects) & repaired it badly with some plastic bond that didn't quite work and I never sanded down. Been in a really awful place lately and realized part of that was all these little moments of self shaming over and over again, and one of them was this awfully repaired phone case (complete w the whole front "screen" (plastic protector) of my phone being shattered to pieces). Gonna do more internal work on the self shaming & comparing, but I realized there's also little things I can do Now to help stop that voice. Like fixing my phone.

I replaced the screen protector with carefully cut & applied clear packing tape, and redid the repairs to the phone case (super glue and sandpaper) while painting it to look better than ever! No before pics, but it was solid black with a washed out frog-that-used-to-be-nb-pride-flag sticker and yellow plastic bond in the cracks. Now it's THIS!

Inspired by a post I saw the other day about dandelions containing the sun, moon, And stars in all its phases. And the hope dandelions bring to this disabled queer trying to survive in a broken system.

ive been wondering why ive been coughing and feeling shitty the past several days and worried I was sick. but I think it was my partner's laptop battery swelling and possibly releasing toxic gases or smth bc once we took it to be disposed of we both started feeling a lot better 💀

#genuinely freaked out when she pointed it out #bc it was sooo bad looking #popped a lot of the chasis lol #ive never had this happen before and like this is my old laptop so its kinda crazy lol #it works without the battery luckily just being plugged in #ordered myself a new laptop anyways since mine has been having a lot of issues and I need smth beefier for 3d stuff #which ive been wanting to get into more #and ill use my current one for school next year after I send it in with the warranty its still under #the person who fixed my laptops keyboard broke a lot of other minor things #like it cant connect to wifi without an adapter and the mousepad doesn't work #and it freezes a lot #ive put up with it bc i cant afford to wait while its shipped out for repair bc of my job #but if i have a new laptop I can wait the month or however long it'll take to get it fixed properly #and maybe if it comes down to it I can just sell it after its fixed #i spend 80% of most waking days on my laptop so I think its a justifiable expense

Scarlet and Violet, performance wise really lacking to the point where it's obvious there needs to be changes to how staff need to be treated better and given more time to work, are really some of the best games in the mainstream series I've ever played and I just really want to talk forever about how amazing it all is

#my switch is getting repaired for drift but man am i itching for it back #I was in the middle of the champion assessment too #but omg I really love the game and the writing and grgrgrgr #I want to bite sada/turo until they blow up #i want to hold arven nemona and penny for being such well written characters with their struggles and bonds together #i want to shake clavell's hand for being an older man in a very gen x/z environment trying to be hip but also wanting the acadamy to-#actually be safe and welcoming while taking accountability for how bullying was ignored and his own dismissal of team star #i want to cry because the teachers are so nice and understanding and actually educate their students while being open to help #and how miriam is an example of someone who tries so hard to achieve their dream for it to be just out of reach #and how the gym leaders have so much personality and how the e4 are so close-knitted together with a little girl in the middle of it all #how koraidon/miraidon thrive under the love the get from the protag and how they act just like giant dogs with the attention they want #and how they're considered low on the ladder in their species in terms of power and size but still have lots of pride and power #i wanna learn more about the crater grgrg #just really really love this game and i miss my lite neee come back to meeee #and yeah i've played from firered to now in terms of mainstream so yeah def i'm being serious #but for real the staff deserve more respect and time literally everyone can agree the game could've waited if it meant better treatment #I really appreciate the love that went into it despite the crunch but it's still shit about the obvious rush #like we know it's not the switch please lengthen the time for people to work on the games so both parties can actually enjoy things #but yeah #pokemon sv spoilers #rosebud posting 💐

#trying to fall asleep half falling asleep and then instantly waking up in a cosmically dissociative state #that was not ok. it can't start happening to me without an adverse reaction to treatment ...#i can't remember when the other time in my life i experience a similar thing was....#one part of the brain fully awake but an entire other part still asleep and the rest conscious without it (NOT supposed to happen)#hellish stuff maan not ok not ok #i looked at my hands and recognized and understood them... but also recognized and understood the arbitrariness of their shape and number #and of the form of my mind and perception and place in time and errything.#cmon man you're only supposed to do that to people on random drugs not overstressed ppeople tryin to frickin sleep 😭#fuckin worst anxiety attack in a long LONG while fuckin hell.#i had to walk and wait for the rest of my brain to wake up and start perceiving so i could fuckin have the rest of my human context back #like where do you even hide man when the rest of your mind isn't there to run back to. it's like being stripped under the eye of sauron #the zones of my brain are too frickin detached and desynchronized i need to be neurologically sewn back together #i experienced temporary (~hourlong in ebbs and waves) broca's aphasia at treatment the other week. wild. and not ok #im gonna try tms again i think. it wasn't a silver bullet for me but it did help repair my cognition and memory and coherency for a bit...#til i lost it again at least #i miss josette. i played her game when rising on the brief crest of tms before my exhaustion started outweighing the few improvements #I'll revisit josette and sedona blue if i do that treatment again. J1 is too much of a slog to replay but J2 is a timeless precious gem #tms is so painful though it shocks my neuralgia #but im desperate i guess #ahahaahhh i need helppp. i ain bin this screwed since 2020 i think

#should add: me and Lawrence (this car) have never like... gotten along too well #idk the chemistry i had w Miles (old car) is just not even remotely present w Lawrence #regardless: i dont want him to be totaled and im really financially stressed #car repairs and body work is EXTREMELY expensive these days. idk what his ACV is but the repairs could easily surpass 10k...#...if anything is mechanically wrong. the body work is probably gonna be 4k minimum #and ofc i was hit by an uninsured motorist and my deductible waiver for UIMs was declined by default 🙃#so I'm uh! going through it! and driving is genuinely scary for me right now #im borrowing my roommate's car but im just on edge any time someone gets too close to me #i was rear ended at a stop light... i was stopped waiting for green and got slammed into by the other driver going ~35 mph #anyway uhh dealing with car accident stuff for multiple hours each day while also balancing my 48 hour work weeks and college stuff is rough #and that's not even getting into comign up with my $2500 deductible or (if Lawrence is totaled) trying to buy a new car #like im physically okay as of right now. it's been a couple days and no whiplash etc symptoms have popped up #but just. ugh. why me.
