the first time Andrew killed someone it was an accident

it really really was

he was out walking with his friend james

since caretaker Sarah didnt much care where they went

and they were deep in a forest

but james was standing at the top of a very steep hill

and instead of being scared like andrew intended

james jumped

at the little bit of red he could see leaking out of the side of james' head at the bottom of the hill

and he walks away

and then he jogs

and then he runs

all the way back to sarahs

and he says nothing

james wasn't ever found

andrews second kill wasn't an accident

it where he really got a taste for blood

andrews second kill was drake spear

he tormented him

and then andrew just snapped

he took richards gun

he lured drake into the woods

asked him how to teach him how to shoot

and when he was distracted

he shot him in the back of the head

the gore doesnt bother him

he was more exhilerated by the fact that his abuser was dead

he hides him in a dead tree

cass is ruined

andrew is put back in the system

drake is deemed a deserter

tilda is next

when he ends up with aaron and sees him being hurt

he doesn't even think twice

he cuts her breaks

and smiles as he jerks the steering wheel so she slams into the divider

hes not happy when he wakes up

it's not often

but the urge still exists

and throughout college

people go missing sometimes

only 1 or 2 a year

but it happens

and after college

Andrew moves to Baltimore

he moves into the butcher's territory

and his body count starts to climb

He can't go as long anymore

but he doesn't care

he needs to kill

and so he does

but that catches the butcher's attention

both the butcher and his son

he gets stalked

then approached

then spoken too

And Andrew's smile is as sharp as they come when he's offered the chance to be mentored by Nathan Wesninski and his knife of a son.

He’s just a little guy! All his friends love him and want him to take care of himself! He’ll totally kill that guy for you though. He protects his friends by mouthing off to horrifically dangerous people. He can’t tell that he’s being flirted with. He always respects his boyfriend’s boundaries and is hyper-vigilant about consent. He also got too distracted listening to his worstie scream in pain after his bf broke the guy’s arm to pay attention to his team checking on him despite the fact that the aforementioned bitch nearly killed him on national TV. He got his bf to agree to stop protecting him so that andrew wouldn’t feel responsible when he was inevitably killed. He comforted himself while being held by the FBI by replaying his father’s execution in his mind over and over. His only regret was that his mom didn’t live long to see his dad dead. But! He’s also so sorry that he upset his boyfriend by getting kidnapped. He put a hit out on a rapist over lunch. He insults the FBI. He challenged the yakuza and won and watched his enemy get executed and then was so giddy over it that his team wanted to know what was up and he lied to them. He’s a fucked up little guy. A Creature even. Morbid as hell. Deeply unserious. Protective as fuck with a mean, vindictive streak a mile wide. Would do anything up to and including killing someone for his found family. What a guy. Damn.

gotta respect how in the beginning neil was so paranoid he went coocoo over nicky speaking german and slept with his face to the wall so he can put his lenses on first thing when he wakes up in case of emergency but then we he actually started receiving a fucking COUNTDOWN to (the most certainly) the day of his untimely demise he was like pheeew don’t care i just wanna do my exy thing and be kissing boys one (1) boy 🥰

Kevin Day isn't actually a coward, Neil and Andrew just have very different ideas of what it means to be brave. Kevin is a survivor. He spent most of his formative years walking a middle ground of being useful but not so much that he showed riko up. He had every reason to be afraid of riko. He was the only one that truly understood what riko was capable of aside from Jean. Neil and Andrew are fighters, they are all or nothing types, they don't understand how someone could walk a middle ground just for something that resembles safety when they fought so hard to not give in to threats until it threatened someone they care about and almost killed themselves in the process. Kevin didn't even know he was ALLOWED to fight back because that was never an option. Leaving the only life he's ever known was so much braver than anyone gives him credit for. It isn't until he has something to fight for and is given permission (not just by the moriyama's and Neil but by himself) to be his own person for the first time that he is able to defy his abusers.

It's not cowardly to do what you can to stay safe. Not everyone has Andrew and Neil's blatant disregard for their own personal safety. Being afraid of pain and death is perfectly reasonable.

"Baltimore reunion scene" this "shower scene" that you know what the actual best, most underrated andreil scene is? The scene on the bus in the kings men where Neil and Andrew sit together and spend three hours just talking. Neil, the pathological liar, spent three hours giving Andrew truthful information for free. Andrew, who's so withdrawn he quit taking for days and no one noticed, gave out details of his life, for free, for three hours. No games or trades involved.

remember that moment ? when Neil goes out to buy some shit and comes back and looses it when he realises someone 1. touch his stuff 2.put it all back together the right way 3.forgot the weirdly folded tags

first Andrew and his eidetic memory : did he left the tag on propose to mess with Neil ? did he not see them, thus couldn't replace it because it's a very fucked up things to do ? i mean, he's a foster child with heavy trauma, I'm sure he knows how to keep an eye on stuff, even more if it's the stuff of someone who could hurt his family so I think he knew and just wanted to leave it in the open for Neil to see but not obvious for any reational person to back him up

and in the possibility in which he did not realise there were tags to deal with, imagine his utter confusion at Neil's entrance in his dorm, messing with Kevin and glaring draggers at him because somehow he knows

or, if Andrew knew, he must have realised how dangerous Neil could be, because this kid knows exactly how to make sure no one can look into his bag without him knowing, he has this weird ass folder with Kevin and Riko everywhere, he comes, barging in, and spits french at Kevin's face

sometime I wish we had Andrew pov for the story, like, discovering Neil from an outside perspective, with him just being a new kid in a sport team, must have been a wild trip

new au because i can't be stopped

i just rewatched star wars new hope so buckle up. neil and katelyn are twins seperated at birth, he's left on tatooine with his aunt and uncle and no knowledge of his parents while she's adopted by a senator on alderaan. katelyn joins the rebellion but gets kidnapped by darth vader (nathan) and they try and torture the location of the rebel base out of her. droids are the same (containing a distress signal katelyn recorded before she was kidnapped) but when neil's aunt and uncle get killed by stormtroopers neil somehow finds out about the jedi and shit (i am making this up as i type this) and takes his best friend kevin with him to mos eisley to find a pilot that'll get them to alderaan to try and find katelyn. they end up finding a pilot and a gunner duo, aaron and andrew, who agree to transport them but they end up caught in the death star's tractor beam and they find out katelyn is there so they go and rescue her and somehow get out and find the rebels and–
