im sorry but i find it so funny and stupid that with the whole mrbeast drama with lunchly and people saying that it's not that much healthier (actually not at all if you consider how much calories a kid needs in a meal) than lunchables all of there comebacks are basically just.
'oh you dont like it then dont buy it'
oh buddy... no one is buying your product (or at least no adults). what you actually want is for them to stop reviewing it and giving actual accurate takes against your product in terms of how healthy it is.
it might be healthier than lunchables but almost anything is healthier than lunchables. there's probably some fast food item out there or fast food chain that makes better food than lunchables. you making something healthier than that isn't an achievement and the fact that you think it is says a lot about what you consider 'healthy'
also telling people that they can't talk bad about your product or else you'll 'get upset' and actively trying to get people to stop by basically mocking or making fun of them is the last thing people should be doing, especially if they want to make businesses, and you want to do that so bad maybe take their advice??? idk just a thought man.
stop trying to censor any accurate information on lunchly and how bad it is. i see you beefing with community notes and the package labels. theyre literally saying how 'oh its not true' and 'dont listen to it'
...
yeah please gain some self respect and realize that what you're doing is extremely fucking childish and stupid, please and thank you <3
#lunchly#ksi#logan paul#mrbeast#lunchables#srsly like dantdm said#do better#also stop attacking youtubers for selling candy like you guys did#the difference is that theyre not saying that its 'oh so healthy'#theyre not saying that you should totally eat it everyday of your life#theyre also not throwing pissy fits or in any sort of major convtroversy#like idk disrespecting a certain place in japan#and trying to profit off of suffering#god that sounds familiar doesnt it logan?

Hi yall I'm a survivor of childhood sex trafficking from ages7 -16. I have chronic pain and a compromised immune system, I am in the streets fighting homelessness, humiliation. I am heartbroken going through very dark times, making daily life a struggle. Help me secure a safe and stable life. Now I'm looking for my own RV I try to raise $3800 but anything is appreciated🙏🙏
i advise everyone who gets asks like these in their inbox to search their username here. ~80% of the asks ive gotten are scams that, according to others on here, likely steal from actual stories of people who have gone through the same thing. it sucks and these people should be ashamed of themselves.

there are doctors there are hospitals there are specialists there is medicine there are systems in place so people do not have to suffer and be tortured under their own chronic pain daily and yet. they're all fucking inaccessible to the people who need it most!!! to what I would argue is most disabled people!! I'm so fucking done with the medical system.
#today is an absolutely wretched pain day that makes me want to not be here anymore but guess what!#wasted a whole year trying to convince my doctors I was in significant and disableing pain daily and the best they could do#is tell me to go to PT and to wait 6 months and tell them if it gets better#to prescribe some shit like gabapentin or otc pain meds and write me off#tell me they'll get new X-rays to see if it got worse by the summer#disability exists!! specialists exist! good doctors fucking exist!! somewhere!!! I'm sure!!#but here I sit. in excruciating amounts of pain unable to convince any fucking doctors of anything#and that year I spent pushing myself to the limit is wasted bc at the very end of it all only one guy listened to me#and he said no one in their giant ass facility could diagnose me#so I'm back to square one bc I got a new job which means new insurance and new doctors to try and convince again#I just want to be on disability so i can want to be alive again#I'm so frustrated and in pain constantly#what are people like me who have to work 40hrs to afford to live but don't have any family to rely on supposed to do??#just die? am i supposed to continue to work until im too disabled to move and be profitable unless i get lucky?#bc some fucking doctor finally decides to actually listen???#ive tried ALL THE DAMN TRICKS TOO. telling them a friend has it and thats how i found out. that my previous doctor was looking into it#etc etc#I'm SO done living like this i am exhausted.#and to know that i COULD BE HELPED. RIGHT NOW. is the worst fucking part#these systems are in place so people like me dont have to fucking suffer.#but i cant even do anything about it bc i have a cat.

i'm so glad i don't feel the urge to have to political post on the blog anymore.
#like. if you know me then you know what i believe in#which is. the value of every life.#the importance of providing every person on the planet what they need to live with safety and dignity.#and the necessity of mitigating opposition to that goal and limiting harm to The World#as much as is possible as one person living under the conditions of our current reality#with hope and effort toward making our future reality one where we are increasingly able to care for one another#instead of engaging in an endless competition of profit and imagined division that causes immeasurable suffering and death.#like. from that philosophy i think you can determine my stance on anything that matters.#The Game Of Politics is only important insofar as it impacts actual lives.#and we should all be thinking bigger than that. like. yknow. abolishing borders altogether. dismantling capitalism worldwide.#creating a global society that benefits as many individual human people as possible.#so like. yeah. i'm going to vote. i'm not gonna be happy about it because there is no one on the ballot that actually represents my values.#because fundamentally all politicians are going to enforce and uphold a system that is inherently oppressive and authoritarian#but. there are some politicians who will cause more harm than others.#and their policies will make a difference in many lives.#and i feel personally obligated to try to Lessen The Harm. since there is nothing i can presently do to Eliminate The Harm.#like. idk. we're not gonna vote our way out of the root of the issues. but we can vote our way out of Some Degree of Some issues. like. idk#abortion. deregulation. environmental initiatives. etc. that stuff makes Some Difference to A Lot Of People.#(none of this passes judgment on those who are abstaining from voting for president because of the continuing genocide in palestine.#i do sincerely understand not being able to stomach it. and if the dems lose then it's only their own fault for being spineless fucks)#but like. if i can vote for somebody who IS LESS LIKELY to directly jeopardize the lives of certain groups of marginalized people#then. i'm gonna... do that. while continuing to work toward & believe in a better fairer freer future for everyone.#ANYWAY. that's my ONE political post for the year. steps off my soapbox.#izzy.txt

there is a great evil in forcing people to spend more money than many of us will ever see at once in our lives just to escape being killed. it is a greed so vast that i cannot even name or fathom it.
#thoughts#i'm talking about palestinians trying to escape gaza and being forced to pay tens of thousands of dollars just to get into egypt.#i wish more people talked about how brutal that is. how unfair.#i hope everyone who profits off of this gets struck down by g-d for their greed.#i can't say i'm very well versed on who exactly is profiting. but someone is for certain. someone or several someones are made very rich#off of other people's desperation and suffering#anyways thats enough from me.

My family is still staying in half of the church that wasn’t affected by the bombing because there is nowhere else to stay other than tents. They are limited to one small meal a day and one shower a week. They are sleeping on the floors, but no one can sleep since there is bombing everywhere around them. Even when there is no bombing, they can still hear the loud buzzing sound of the military planes above them, which would keep anyone who hears it awake. Along with everything, My grandma has diabetes and osteoporosis, so she can’t walk. She has to take her insulin medication along with many others; however, she has run out of many of her medications.” Am on my knees requesting for donation. Target $450

Falling for scams does hurt people, actually
TW: Human trafficking, SA, torture, discussion of scam farms
I see a whole bunch of people arguing that they would rather risk giving to a scammer than ignore someone's gofundme. I also see people saying things like "I can't believe some sick people are profiteering off genocide" and like, me neither, but I feel like you guys really don't understand who actually runs these kinds of scams and what they are.
Scams of noticeable scale-- like scam asks being sent from hundreds of accounts to every user on Tumblr!-- are typically related to organised crime in poor countries, not Susan from Milwaukee who wants a new coat and has no scruples. People get trafficked by gangs to scam farms in Asia and Africa where they're worked to the bone and tortured trying to get idiots in wealthy countries to part with their money. Genocide profiteering is pretty much the least evil thing these people do.
Here's a UN article on it. Obvious warnings for content related to human trafficking and SA.
When you donate to a scammer, you fund these organisations and give them a reason to exist. It's possible some of the fundraisers are legit. I honestly find it unlikely given I'm not seeing any from any other countries where urgent fundraisers would seem to have great reason to exist but which haven't captured the same level of attention on Tumblr-- the number of Sudanese, Congolese, Ukrainian, Burmese or Uyghur fundraisers in my DMs is a fat 0. In any case, there are safer ways to help.
If you want to help (which is great!) you don't have to take the risk of paying for human trafficking. Donate to legitimate charities which have the resources to safely and effectively ensure the money and help is getting to the right people. Funding human trafficking rings in Myanmar is not a good risk to be taking while trying to help.

In case anyone isn't up to date with #FixTF2 and the issues the protest is focusing on, here is a comprehensive document you can read.
It has the personal testimony of one of the bothosters' victims who was swatted, MegaScatterBomb, a guy who is working on an anticheat to use in casual mode.
The bothosters and their lackeys have committed and condoned crimes that hurt people IRL, while scamming desperate players with "bot immunity" and spamming links that they brag about containing CP. They customize their Objectors to have gore on them. They have tried to funnel the anger of the playerbase on innocent, uninvolved parties and impersonated a number of TF2 players to divert attention away from the real bothosters. Recently they tried to take down the save.tf site by unlawfully impersonating Valve in order to file a DMCA.
They are allowed to conduct this sort of behavior with no consequences while Valve is still making money off the game.
#FixTF2 is not asking for more content, they are asking for security measures. People are getting doxxed just for critiquing bothosters. TF2 isn't the only game on Steam which suffers from lack of proper regulation, either. If people are supposed to spend money on your product, this product should work properly and you shouldn't be risking your personal information just from using it!
Please sign the petition on save.tf (they are aiming for 300k signatures) and spread word of #FixTF2. As a regular player and a big fan of the game, I think this is worth trying rather than just rolling over. Valve profits from this mess, refusing to openly communicate with the playerbase, fix their game nor simply shut it down. Let them know this is unacceptable.
To keep up with the developments and to know more, a good account to follow on twitter is the guy who called the fandom to action in the first place this year, Weezy. He has a youtube too, with informative videos on the matter. Shork is likewise updating on the situation.

10 Worst Things About The Trump Presidency
Donald Trump left office with the lowest approval rating of any president ever. But some people now seem to be suffering from amnesia.
Let me jog your memory. Here are 10 Worst Things About the Trump Presidency — in no particular order.
#1. Trump fueled division and sparked a record uptick in hate crimes.
#2. Murder went way up under Trump. He presided over the largest ever single-year increase in homicides in 2020. A number of factors might have contributed to that, but a big one is…
#3. Gun sales broke records under Trump, who has bragged about how he “did nothing” to restrict guns as president in spite of…
#4. Under Trump, America suffered more than 1,700 mass shootings.
#5. Trump said there were "very fine people" among the neo-Nazis in Charlottesville.
I’m halfway to ten. If you think I’m missing something big, leave it in the comments.
#6. Trump allied himself with the Proud Boys, a violent hate group who helped orchestrate the Jan 6 Capitol attack.
#7. Trump’s not wrong when he says…
TRUMP: I got rid of Roe v. Wade.
It is entirely because of Trump’s judicial appointments that 1 in 3 American women of childbearing age now lives in states with abortion bans.
#8. One of Trump’s Supreme Court justices was Brett Kavanaugh, a man accused of sexual assault by multiple women.
#9. Trump’s White House interfered in the FBI’s investigation of Brett Kavanaugh’s alleged sexual assaults.
And now: #10. Trump has been convicted of committing 34 felonies while in office. The criminally false business filings he got convicted for in New York? All of them were committed while he was president.
I’m sorry, did I say the 10 Worst Things About the Trump Presidency? I meant 15.
#11. Trump’s failed pandemic response is estimated to have led to hundreds of thousands of needless deaths. By the time Trump left office, roughly 3,000 Americans were dying of covid every day. That’s a 9/11-scale mass casualty event every single day. How did Trump screw up so badly?
#12. Trump’s White House discarded the pandemic response playbook that had been assembled by the Obama administration.
#13. Trump disbanded the National Security Council’s pandemic response team.
#14. Trump repeatedly lied about the danger of covid, saying it was no worse than the flu or that it would go away on its own.
But behind closed doors, Trump admitted he knew covid was deadly.
#15. Trump promoted fake covid cures like hydroxychloroquine and even injecting people with disinfectants.
After Trump’s “disinfectant” remarks, poison control centers received a spike in emergency calls.
That’s fifteen things. Should I keep going? Ok, I’ll keep going. The 20 Worst Things About the Trump Presidency.
#16. Trump presided over a net loss of 2.9 million American jobs — the worst recorded jobs numbers of any U.S. president in history.
#17. Trump profited off the presidency, making an estimated $160 million from foreign countries while he was president.
#18. Trump also billed the Secret Service over $1 million for the privilege of staying at his golf clubs and other properties while they protected him. That’s your money!
#19. Trump caused the longest government shutdown in U.S. history when he didn’t get funding for his border wall, which he said Mexico was going to pay for.
#20. Under Trump, the national debt increased by about 40% — more than in any other four-year presidential term — largely because of his tax cuts for the rich and big corporations.
You didn’t really think I was stopping at 20, did you? We’re going to 25 —
#21. Trump separated more than 5,000 children from their parents at the border, with no plan to ever reunite them, putting babies in cages.
#22. The Muslim Ban. Yes, Trump really did try to ban Muslims from entering the country.
#23. Trump sparked international outrage by moving the American Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem while closing the U.S. mission to Palestine.
#24. Trump tasked his son-in-law Jared Kushner with drafting a potential Middle East “peace plan” with zero Palestinian input.
#25. And finally, Trump recognized Israel’s occupation of the Goh-lahn Heights, which is considered illegal under international law.
So there you have it, folks: The 25 Worst — Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Did I mention the impeachments? We’ve got to do the impeachments. Let’s go to 30.
#26. Trump broke the law by trying to withhold nearly $400 million of U.S. aid for Ukraine in an effort to extort a personal political favor from Ukraine’s Pres. Zelensky. Trump wanted Zelensky to interfere in the 2020 election by announcing an investigation into the Bidens. Delaying this aid to Ukraine weakened Ukraine and strengthened Russia.
#27. Trump personally attacked and ruined the careers of everyone who stood in the way of his illegal Ukraine scheme, including Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch and Lt. Colonel Alexander Vindman.
#28. To cover up the scheme, Trump ordered the White House and State Department to defy congressional subpoenas.
#29. For these reasons, on December 18, 2019, Trump became the third U.S. president to be impeached. He was charged with Abuse of Power and Obstruction of Congress.
#30. Even while he was being investigated for trying to get Ukraine to interfere in the U.S. election, Trump publicly called for China to interfere in the election.
So those are the 30 Worst Things —
I’ll go to 35.
#31. Long before Election Day, Trump started making false claims that the election would be rigged.
#32. After losing, Trump falsely claimed the election was stolen, even though his own inner circle, including his campaign manager, White House lawyers, and his own Justice Department and attorney general told him it was not.
#33. Trump kept telling his Big Lie even after more than 60 legal challenges to the election were struck down in court, many by Trump-appointed judges.
#34. Trump ordered the Department of Justice to falsely claim that the election “was corrupt.”
#35. Trump and his allies used threats to pressure state leaders in Arizona and Georgia to falsify the election results.
We may go to 40.
#36. When none of the previous schemes worked, Trump and his allies produced fake electoral votes cast by fake electors in multiple swing states. His former White House chief of staff and Rudy Giuliani are among the many members of his inner circle who have been criminally indicted for this scheme.
#37. Trump tried to bully Vice President Pence into obstructing the certification of the election.
#38. Trump invited a mob to the Capitol on Jan 6 with his “be there, will be wild” tweet.
#39. Sworn testimony alleges that when Trump was warned that members of the crowd were carrying deadly weapons, he ordered security metal detectors to be taken down.
#40. Knowing the crowd had deadly weapons, he ordered them to go to the Capitol and…
TRUMP: …fight like hell.
#41 — Yes, yes, I know, bear with me.
Trump betrayed his oath to defend the nation by doing nothing to stop the Jan 6 violence. Instead, according to witness testimony, he sat and watched TV for hours.
#42. On January 13, 2021, Trump became the only president ever to be impeached twice. This time he was charged with incitement of insurrection. It was a bipartisan vote.
#43. The majority of senators — 57 out of 100 — voted to convict Trump, including 7 Republican senators.
So that’s the two impeachments and the Big Lie, but wait, we haven’t dealt with Russia, right? So we’re going to 50.
#44. In a likely obstruction of justice, Trump pressured then FBI Director James Comey to stop the FBI’s investigation into Trump’s National Security Adviser, Michael Flynn. This was documented in the Mueller report.
#45. When Comey didn’t bend to Trump’s will, Trump fired him.
#46. Trump tried to shut down the Mueller investigation by ordering White House Counsel Don McGann to fire Mueller. McGann refused because that would be criminal obstruction of justice.
#47. When news got out that Trump tried to fire Mueller, Trump repeatedly told McGann to lie — to Mueller, to press, to public — and even create a false document to conceal Trump’s attempt to fire Mueller.
#48. Trump ordered his staff not to turn over emails showing Don Jr. had set up a meeting at Trump Tower before the 2016 election with representatives of the Russian government.
#49. Trump convinced Michael Cohen to lie to Congress about Trump’s plans to build a Trump Tower in Moscow, and Cohen served prison time for lying to Congress.
#50. Trump was not charged for criminal obstruction of justice because it’s the Justice Department’s policy not to indict a sitting president, but more than a thousand former federal prosecutors who served under both Republicans and Democrats, signed a letter declaring there was more than enough evidence to prosecute Trump.
So those are the 50 Worst Things About the Trump Presidency. Now I could go on…
And I will! The 75 Worst Things About the Trump Presidency.
#51. Trump said he’d hire only the best people, but…
His campaign chair was convicted of multiple crimes.
So was one of his closest associates.
His deputy campaign chair pleaded guilty to crimes.
So did his personal lawyer
His National Security Adviser
The Chief Financial Officer of his business
A campaign foreign policy adviser
And one of his campaign fundraisers.
They all committed crimes, and Trump pardoned most of them.
#52. Trump said he’d drain the Washington swamp. But he appointed more billionaires, CEOs, and Wall Street moguls to his administration than any administration in history
#53. Trump intervened to get his son-in-law, Jared Kushner top-secret clearance after he was denied over concerns about foreign influence.
#54. Trump hosted a Russian Foreign Minister to the Oval Office, where Trump revealed top-secret intelligence.
Oh, and Trump’s economic policies!
#55 Trump promised that the average American family would see a $4,000 pay raise because of his tax cuts for the wealthy and big corporations. How’d that work out? Did you get a $4,000 raise? Of course not! Nobody did!
#56. Trump vowed to protect American jobs, but offshoring increased and manufacturing fell.
#57. Trump said he would fix America’s infrastructure, but it never happened. He announced so many failed “infrastructure weeks” they became a running joke.
#58. Trump said he would be “the voice” of American workers, but he filled the National Labor Relations Board with anti-union flacks who made it harder for workers to unionize.
#59. Trump’s Labor Department made it easier for bosses to get out of paying workers overtime, which cheated 8 million workers of extra pay.
#60. Trump repeatedly suggested he might serve more than two terms in violation of the Constitution — and continues to do so.
#61. Trump called Haiti and African nations “shithole” countries.
#62. Trump tried to terminate DACA, which protects immigrants brought to the U.S. as children. Luckily this was struck down by the courts.
#63. Trump called climate change a “hoax.”
#64. Trump pulled out of the Paris Climate Agreement.
#65. Trump rolled back more than 100 environmental protections.
#66. Every budget Trump proposed included cuts to Social Security and Medicare.
#67. Trump tried (and failed) to repeal the Affordable Care Act, which would have resulted in 20 million Americans losing insurance. And striking down the ACA’s protections for the roughly 130 million people with pre-existing conditions could have driven up their insurance premiums or led to a loss of coverage.
#68. Trump made it easier for employers to remove birth control coverage from insurance plans.
#69. By the end of Trump’s term, the number of people lacking health insurance had risen by 3 million.
#70. Trump lied. Constantly. He made 30,573 false or misleading claims while president — an average of 21 a day, according to Washington Post fact-checkers.
#71. Trump allegedly took hundreds of classified documents on his way out of the White House, reportedly including nuclear secrets, which he then left unsecured in various parts of Mar-a-Lago, including a bathroom. He was even caught on tape showing them off to people.
#72. Trump seriously discussed the idea of nuking a hurricane.
#73. When Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico, Trump delayed $20 billion of aid and allowed Puerto Rico to be without power for 181 days.
#74. Trump suggested withholding federal aid for California wildfire recovery and said the solution was to “clean” the “floors” of the forest.
#75. Trump pulled out of the Iran deal, placing Iran on a path to developing nuclear weapons.
Honestly, there’s so much more, from exchanging “love letters” with North Korea’s brutal dictator to publicly denigrating a Gold Star military widow and making her cry, to the way he attacked journalists, to late night tweet binges.
Look, I can understand why a lot of people want to block all of this out of their memories. But we cannot afford to forget just how terrible Trump’s time in the White House was for this nation.
And we sure as hell can’t afford to put him back there.

I'm probably going to piss some people off with this, but.
The use of AI and machine learning for harmful purposes is absolutely unacceptable.
But that isn't an innate part of what it does.
Apps or sites using AI to generate playlists or reading lists or a list of recipes based on a prompt you enter: absolutely fantastic, super helpful, so many new things to enjoy, takes jobs from no-one.
Apps or sites that use a biased algorithm (which is AI) which is not controllable by users or able to be turned off by them, to push some content and suppress others to maximize engagement and create compulsive behavior in users: unethical, bad, capitalism issue, human issue.
People employing genAI to create images for personal, non-profit use and amusement who would not have paid someone for the same service: neutral, (potential copyright and ethics issue if used for profit, which would be a human issue).
People incorporating genAI as part of their artistic process, where the medium of genAI is itself is a deliberate part of the artist's technique: valid, interesting.
Companies employing genAI to do the work of a graphic designer, and websites using genAI to replace the cost of stock photos: bad, shitty, no, capitalist and ethical human issue.
People attacking small artists who use it with death threats and unbelievable vitriol: bad, don't do that.
AI used for spell check and grammar assistance: really great.
AI employed by eBay sellers to cut down on the time it takes to make listings: good, very helpful, but might be a bad idea as it does make mistakes and that can cost them money, which would be a technical issue.
AI used to generate fake product photos: deceptive, lazy, bad, human ethical issue.
AI used to identify plagiarism: neutral; could be really helpful but the parameters are defined by unrealistic standards and not interrogated by those who employ it. Human ethical issue.
AI used to analyze data and draw up complex models allowing detection of things like cancer cells: good; humans doing this work take much longer, this gives results much faster and allows faster intervention, saving lives.
AI used to audit medical or criminal records and gatekeep coverage or profile people: straight-up evil. Societal issue, human ethical issue.
AI used to organize and classify your photos so you don't have to spend all that time doing it: helpful, good.
AI used to profile people or surveil people: bad and wrong. Societal issue, human issue, ethical issue.
I'm not going to cover the astonishingly bad misinformation that has been thrown out there about genAI, or break down thought distortions, or go into the dark side of copyright law, or dive into exactly how it uses the data it is fed to produce a result, or explain how it does have many valid uses in the arts if you have any imagination and curiosity, and I'm not holding anyone's hand and trying to walk them out of all the ableism and regurgitated capitalist arguments and the glorification of labor and suffering.
I just want to point out: you use machine learning (AI) all the time, you benefit from it all the time. You could probably identify many more examples that you use every day. Knee-jerk panicked hate reflects ignorance, not sound principles.
You don't have beef with AI, you have beef with human beings, how they train it, and how they use it. You have beef with capitalism and thoughtlessness. And so do I. I will ruthlessly mock or decry misuse or bad use of it. But there is literally nothing inherently bad in the technology.
I am aware of and hate its misuse just as much as you do. Possibly more, considering that I am aware of some pretty heinous ways it's being used that a lot of people are not. (APPRISS, which is with zero competition for the title the most evil use of machine learning I have ever seen, and which is probably being used on you right now.)
You need to stop and actually think about why people do bad things with it instead of falling for the red herring and going after the technology (as well as the weakest human target you can find) every time you see those two letters together.
You cannot protect yourself and other people against its misuse if you cannot separate that misuse against its neutral or helpful uses, or if you cannot even identify what AI and machine learning are.

My university refused to even utter the word Palestinian or anything in their singular statement (mentioning the unbearable loss that Jewish students must have experienced on October 7th). Even when approached by Palestinian students they doubled down and refused to offer any support even in the face of documented hate crimes with literal antipalestinian sentiment and violence towards palestinians and Muslims so yeah I'm sorry but right now the people suffering the most on college campuses are Palestinians first and foremost. And Palestinian students especially try to become doctors, engineers, nurses, or lawyers so the fact that they're profiting off their prestige while also completely ignoring them is the definition of anti-Palestinian.

Was watching a segment on CNN today. Now that they can't divert support from the UHC Shooter, they're now trying to manufacture consent for the idea that this was done in pursuit of Neoliberal reforms, of tweaks around the edges that result in slightly fewer deaths.
Fuck. That.
If we protest, they just ignore it. If we try to fund a candidate to get Medicare For All, they just sabotage him in the primaries. They'll get on TV and turn us all against each other with endless culture war narratives about Starbucks cups and mansplaining, laughing all the way to the bank as the minimum wage sits at $7.25.
The rich thought they were safe when they destroyed the unions, started handing out Nobels to mother fuckers for dropping bombs and telling us greed was good, and started manufacturing consent for their warring and whoring across the globe. All this pain, all this suffering, children in the Middle East killing themselves because they miss their parents, people starving in the streets because feeding them has no profit motive, the drug overdoses, little children getting gunned down in schools....
It was all pain deemed acceptable for the sake of getting the most minute handful of people rich. When I remember how my grandmother cried when my cousin overdosed, I really couldn't tell you what I'd do if I saw one of the Sacklers on the street, that's all I'll say on that.
I just don't want people to forget this hate. It's the first time I've seen both parties unanimously focus on the actual source of their pain in years. The working class really should be united under the banner of class solidarity, not scratching each others eyes out while the rich people rob us blind. Let's fucking do something. Let's put the fear of god into the rich and form a working class coalition that welcomes all. Let's make them stop profiting off our pain.
All those pissed off dude bros who voted for Trump? Here's your chance to be alpha. You wanna keep picking on women online, or do you want to take your power back from the people who actually took it?
