TAROT SCAMMER

@adorastarot is a scammer, do not buy from her.

As some of you know, I love supporting readers and people in general. If I have enough money, I'll more than likely buy from a small business or donate if I can. It's really a shame that I have to make a post like this because I have personally felt scammed by a reader on here.

I’ll try to keep it short. I have bought 4 readings from @adorastarot and have only received 2 of them. The second batch I had ordered when I knew she was on vacation (@adorastarot had even confirmed the purchase) so I expected a bit of wait at LEAST for that month, and wasn't knocking down her door for it because they were fun readings and nothing urgent. For about 2 months I would on and off forget that I purchased it and left it alone, which is a mistake on my part.

I didn't know there was a refund period (because I have never been scammed like this) so unfortunately, I missed the time to be able to get a chargeback. She has stolen $50 from me with no remorse. Typically I don't care what a reader does with the money they earn because it is up to the buyer if they would like to support them or not. But when you juke people out of their money, have no remorse and also only use your funds to go on trips (which is a luxury) is just so crazy to me. Imagine doing this while there are so many other readers out there who actually NEED the money.

I have tried contacting Kofi about this to no avail. Here are the screenshots of our last interaction. Keep in mind I have never had a bad experience with her before this.

And before anyone says anything, it's about the principle. Not only did I not receive an order, there was no communication as @adorastarot willfully posted on both her Kofi and Tumblr while not responding to my messages. I shouldn't have to do this over what is £35 to you.

SHE TRIED TO BUY READINGS FROM ME AGAIN, AND GIVEN I HAD AN ICKY FEELING I DECIDED TO CHECK HER PAYPAL DETAILS. HER ADRESS WAS THE EXACT SAME AS THE ACCOUNT SHE SCAMMED ME ON.

Beware of mosabsdr (and scammers pretending to be from Palestine)

Remember the response post that I've made to mosabsdr? Well, apparently, I was deceived by mosabsdr the whole time.

Please note that I have nothing against actual and innocent Palestinians, but I made this post to spread awareness against a notorious serial inbox scammer and spammer pretending to be from the same country as them.

One day, @greenpop (thanks for letting me know that mosabsdr is a scammer) told me that he is a scammer pretending to be from Palestine, who managed to buy a verified badge from tumblr themselves and has been called out by people from all walks of life for spamming their inbox in order to ask for 90k USD on their chuffed.org campaign.

Additionally, it was revealed that according to nonaferatu, mosabsdr had other blogs, including abedmajeed and nasergz, all with the same intent of scamming others like you out of your well-earned money.

Actually, I've encountered and seen several scams throughout my entire life, including a few Kickstarter scams like Chronicles of Elyria, and nothing angers me more than scammers profiting from the money of people living in unfortunate situations around the world.

If you're one of mosabsdr's victims, please let me know so that we can avoid fraudsters like mosabsdr that are profiting from the situation people in places like Palestine and my home island, are currently in, and not only that, please block him and all of his associated accounts.

UPDATE (as of April 23rd, 2025):

Shortly after this post was made, mosabsdr tried to reach out to me, trying to do damage control by trying to twist the narrative and lie his way around this situation, but I don't care so I deleted his ask and blocked his ass.

Ah shit, here we fucking go again, with an another scammer called nadinfamily, trying to profit from the unfortunate situations actual Palestinians are currently in, by doing the exact same thing as mosabsdr, this time pretending to be a woman named Nadin living in Gaza. >:-(

UPDATE (as of May 9th, 2025):

Another day, an another scammer. How many times do we have to teach you this lesson, scammer guy? So, I checked his chuffed campaign and wait a second, the math ain't mathing here.

Turns out, the organizer has the same name as mosabsdr, so we know that it's already him, and is asking for 90k USD. Please do not fall for this organized fraud ring in any way.

Additionally, I have reported the chuffed campaign and you should all do the same as well.

I...probably should have made a post like this sooner, but I procrastinated for a couple reasons, one of them being that I am, genuinely, embarrassed to admit that I fell victim to a scam (again).

But I feel like it's been long enough at this point, and even if I never get back a cent of the money I was tricked into giving away, I feel the best I can do is warn other people about this person, so they don't end up like me.

This person is a scammer.

Some time back, I reblogged a commission post from this person, and she contacted me about a commission. Admittedly, I should have smelled a rat with how persistent she was, and the sob story she gave me. But at the time, I was well-off enough that a commission of one of my OCs sounded good, plus I believed that I would be helping someone.

To make a long story short, I ended up giving this person $80 of my money, and never saw my commission.

And I have the receipts, BTW:

Why do people think it's alright to just try and scam people and be creepy?

Had this just happen. I'm not open for commissions anymore. Not that I don't want to fo them. But that I've had grown ass men want me, a 16 year old. To draw their junk! I would say no and they would continue to ask and say they'll give me more moment for it. Or, the scammer will get mad when I call them out and block me before I can say anything else. And normally these acounts are brand new. How do you guys gets these guys to go away?

(PT: A PSA TO THREADS USERS. End PT) If you use Threads (An app owned by Meta, and basically Zuck's version of Twitter but also not), you might've been seeing your posts get quote-reposted with something like this

It's a scambot. Your post has not been reported for copyright. And your account is not going to be banned. Meta would've sent you an email had that been the case (And keep in mind these accounts arent actually verified neither).

Clicking the link will lead you to a fake login/appeal page (one that's labeled as *not secure* might i add), which asks for your password. If you accidentally click the link by any chance, do not enter your password. Stay safe yall. @kyra45 not sure if you cover off-tumblr scams but thought you might be interested/aware of this.

🚨 WARNING: PayPal Scam Alert 🚨 They’ll pretend to praise you and admire your artwork!

I want to warn everyone about a dangerous PayPal scam that I recently encountered. Please read carefully to avoid falling victim to this scam.

Here’s what happened: A person claimed to have sent me money and “upgraded" my PayPal account to a Business account without my consent. After checking my PayPal account directly, there was no such upgrade, and it was clear that the email I received was NOT legitimate.

But it didn't stop there. The scammer went as far as to say I would be arrested if I didn’t refund a payment they claimed to have sent me. This is a classic scam tactic used to create panic and pressure you into acting impulsively.

🔴 Red Flags to Watch Out For:

Suspicious Email Address: The email came from "paypal.services.couk", which is NOT an official PayPal domain. PayPal’s legitimate emails come from @paypal.com.

Unsolicited Account Upgrades: No one, not even PayPal, can upgrade your account without your consent. Only you can make such changes in your account settings.

Threat of Arrest: The scammer threatened that I would be arrested if I didn't issue a refund. This is not true! PayPal cannot and will not threaten you with legal action over a transaction unless you’re involved in illegal activity (which I was not). It's a manipulation tactic to scare you into sending money.

Phishing Attempt: The email seemed designed to trick me into clicking on malicious links or giving up personal information.

⚠️ What To Do If You Get a Similar Email:

Do NOT click any links or download any attachments.

Log in directly to PayPal via the official website (www.paypal.com) to check your account activity. Do not trust links in suspicious emails.

Report the Scam: Forward the suspicious email to PayPal’s fraud department at spoof@paypal.com and mark it as spam.

Contact PayPal Support: If you’re unsure about any email or threat, reach out to PayPal directly through their official customer service channels.

🚫 Remember: Scammers may use threats of arrest or other extreme tactics to manipulate you. Stay calm, protect your personal information, and do not respond to threats.

SCAMMER ALERT

Today i got an ask from a blog claiming to belong to an animal shelter in the philippines.

I was about to dismiss it immediately. Like... "thankyou so much luv ya" isn't professional fund raising behaviour lmao. but then i saw that they've got a facebook linked....

The facebook has 75k followers and 60k likes, with an extensive post history and reviews dating back to late 2019. I even found an article from 2020 mentioning them. The article has information on them and the work they have been doing as a nonrpofit since 2019. The tumblr is very new. So, what's going on here?

I texted them! (I know i made a grammar mistake. Shut) They haven't gotten back to me yet, but I did get an automated message. The paypal link looks like it checks out right? No! The facebook doesn't say "bachprojectphil" anywhere. It's "bachprojectph" everywhere I looked. Clicking the e-mail from the message opened p@ypal immediately.

However, when I did the same on the tumblr post...

BOTH links opened this. It is a p@ypal site, but it's a profile, not the direct donation link. This link, or this username ending in "phil" appears nowhere else. If it was true that "they've gotten banned" and had to reregister to tumblr, the @aypal would still be the one legit one from facebook.

What I think is going on, is that this scammer took the name of a legitemate animal shelter, made a p@ypal that resembles theirs, and inserted a hyperlink over the actual email address that leads to their account.

I am still waiting on an actual response from a human, will reblog if anything changes but I feel like i've got a good case against the tumblr person as it is.

this account has the same pfp as another one, and sent me a copy pasted ask at the same time as the one with the same pfp. Someone also warned (In a deleted comment) of MSSB being a scam.

Although, they both have different intro posts. One might be real, and one might be impersonating the other.

Plz donate to actual Palestinians! Just warning!

Another obvious Gaza scammer. Proof of this being a scam:

It's obvious from my blog that I'm Israeli. Actual Gazans wouldn't waste their precious battery power and bandwidth on contacting me given the odds of me being inclined to help. Fun fact: I used to be.

It does not get cold in Gaza. Ever. Lowest recorded temperature is 8° Celsius, which is just mildly crisp sweater weather, but it's usually higher. The average during the coldest month, JANUARY, is 12°, aka just beneath the temperature many locals set their AC. This is today, and it's only gonna get hotter:

The people who send these messages have never been anywhere near the Middle East. My guess is they're Eastern European or Russian. Because the cold actually gets scary there. Think for a second in your life: they're getting bombed. Why add weather to their problems when the war itself is reason enough for people to feel inclined to help them?

Also pay attention to names. Maram could be an Arab name (Israeli women are also named Maram), but another scammer claimed their kids' names are Adam and Noah. Those are Jewish names. Someone guessed Gaza is part of Israel (it's not, hence "apartheid" doesn't apply lmao), so they looked up Israeli names and ran with it. No way a Palestinian Arab names their kids something that would make targets in their own community. Then again, anyone falling for these scams deserves it. They clearly don't know enough about either nation to have any right to speak on the matter if they can't even tell a "Palestinian" named "Noah" is a huge red flag.
