My Durgetash is based on betrayal + systematic manipulation on all sides. When I'm not talking about Gortash exclusively, that is to say more durgetash and or Durge, I don't even try hard to hide my bias.

I like em toxic in the hurt/no comfort tragedy 'never breaking the cycle' way. And old. We're doing a bit of a bi catastrophe approach over here and I absolutely do not respect canon whatsoever (genuinely my durgetash has reached levels of insane fucking around and finding out).

I'm jumping off a bridge. Their backstory is so tragic, I can't.

The fact that even Queenie being in the state she was, Kinger still found humanity in her, the fact that he risked his life knowing she could go crazy and attack him just so he could touch her one last time.

And the fact that Queenie allowed him to do it, the fact that she was able to keep control as a abstracted just so she could feel him. Because she loved him and he loved her back and both of them knew her fate, but in that moment, it was just them, their last moment together so both made it work.

This is such a powerful image I want to hug both of them.

there’s something about poseidon showing up for sally.

but sally burns ice cream. ice cream that she has no attachment to. it’s not even baby percy’s ice cream. it’s just random leftover ice cream that she grabbed from a pile of dirty dishes.

the ice cream could not be more unimportant to sally. in the grand scheme of things, the ice cream is nothing.

but poseidon comes to her anyway. he shows up immediately after probably the most lackluster offering sally could give. he shows up anyway.

just…there’s something about poseidon showing up for sally.
