Got to hold a hawk moth today!!
#my brother found some worms in the bottom of a trash can at work#and they Looked Funny#so he took them home and they started their cocoon process#and they hatched!!!!#I can’t believe they hatched lmao#but yeah#they’re super cool#I’m trying to be less scared of bugs#especially with handling them#and I think these guys were perfect for that#they don’t really move around much lol#and they also kinda sticky#like microfiber sticky#or like a super super toned down version of june bug sticky#which I can’t say I loved#bc I don’t like that texture when it’s on live creatures#anyway

my mom is soooo upset because she dropped and cracked one of her chicken’s eggs that she knew was fertilized. it’s her first time trying to hatch chicks and she was so excited. this was one of two eggs she’d seen moving while candling them. she feels so bad.
