National Vanilla Ice Cream Day
Classic, creamy, and ever so delicious… who doesn’t love vanilla ice cream? You can have it with chocolate cake, apple crumble, sprinkles, strawberry sauce… the list goes on! Of course, it’s just as delightful on its own. A dessert as scrumptious and versatile as this deserves to be celebrated, and Vanilla Ice Cream Day gives you the perfect excuse to do so! Vanilla Ice Cream Day gives you the perfect excuse to indulge in this sweet treat and to experiment with different ways of enjoying it.Like most ice cream flavors, vanilla ice cream was created originally by cooling a mixture of vanilla, sugar, and cream above a container of salt and ice. The sort of vanilla that is used to flavor ice cream varies based on located. In Ireland, more of anise-like flavor is chosen. In North America, a smoky flavor is more desirable. History Of Vanilla Ice CreamSo, who do we have to praise for this tasty and incredible creation? Well, you need to start by understanding the origins of both vanilla and ice cream first! Ice cream can be traced back to the 14th century. There is evidence that ice cream was served during the Yuan period in the Mogul Court.
The idea of using a mix of salt and ice for the refrigerating effect, though, began in Asia. The method then spread when the Moors and Arabs traveled to Spain, between 711 and 1492. The Italians became involved in making ice cream once this method had spread to Europe. By the early 18th century, there were recipes for ice cream in France as well. The French added egg yolks or egg to the recipe to create a richer and smoother food.
Vanilla was first used amongst people from Mexico. By the 1500s, Spanish conquistadors, who were exploring present-day Mexico, had come across Meso-American individuals who were consuming vanilla in their foods and drinks. Because of this, the conquistadors brought vanilla back to Spain.
In Spain, they started using vanilla to flavor a chocolate drink that consisted of honey, water, corn, vanilla, and cacao beans. The drink eventually spread to England and France, and then the rest of Europe by the early 1600s. In 1602, the apothecary of Queen Elizabeth I, Hugh Morgan, suggested that vanilla should be used separately from cocoa.
When this happened, the French really started to use vanilla in drinks and foods without cacao, and they started to flavor ice cream with it. When Thomas Jefferson discovered vanilla ice cream in France, he brought the recipe back to the United States with him, where the natural color of the ice cream was brown.
How To Celebrate Ice Cream Day
Of course, the best way to observe Vanilla Ice Cream Day is to have a go at creating your own vanilla ice cream.
Other Ways To Observe Vanilla Ice Cream Day
Make your own ice cream sundae creation! There are so many different ways you can use vanilla ice cream. Why not grab a mason jar and create your own ice cream sundae creation? The toppings that go with vanilla ice cream are never-ending. You can add in broken up cookie pieces. Or, what about drizzling in toppings, like toffee, dark chocolate, or melted caramel? You can also mix in pieces of your favorite candy bars. Or, if you really want to switch things up, why not try unexpected flavors, like maple syrup and chilli chocolate?
Get your friends and loved ones around to try the vanilla ice cream that you have created. They will definitely be impressed to learn that you have created your own vanilla ice cream from scratch! You can serve it with a homemade dessert or you can get everyone else in on the fun of creating their own sundaes.
Create your own vanilla ice cream cocktail – There are so many amazing cocktail recipes that involve vanilla ice cream. Why not make your own boozy ice cream cocktail in order to mark the occasion? One of our favorites is the Blackberry gin Fizz Float. Combine blackberry puree, vanilla ice cream, gin, ginger ale, fresh mint, and lime juice! This is a refreshing and luxurious cocktail, and you will be wondering why you have never had it before!

seventeen as types of tea
requested by anon ! my tea knowledge is like. a little bit extensive. but only a little, so some of these r based off of what google says these teas taste like ++ the vibes they give me ^^
masterlist
seungcheol
ginger tea. the warmth and the spiciness and the slight sweetness of the tea definitely give me strong seungcheol vibes. the fact that it's good for you and also super delicious? hmm yeah idk but it's giving scoups
jeonghan
honey tea. a gentle, sweet tea that melts on your tongue. it reminds me of being taken care of by my mother, bc she always gave me honey tea when i was sick. for me, its a comforting tea, and the lovely sweetness gives me jeonghan vibes.
joshua
bergamot tea. most people know it as earl grey tea, and it sounds like it'll be a musky, tasteless old-people kind of tea, but its floral, citrusy taste is very vibrant and lovely. bergamot is also a nice stress reliever, and is also a vv nice cake flavour and idk. the vibes feel very joshua
junhui
jasmine tea. dude, everyone loves jasmine tea, and if you don't, then you're lying to yourself. and that's exactly like how i firmly believe that junhui is nothing except absolutely and utterly loveable. it makes me think of dim sum bc the cleansing taste of it always balances the oily food sooo well
hoshi
tea with lots of cream and sugar. it's almost horrifically sweet, but hoshi drinks it with a straight face and you can't help but wonder if, maybe, it's because the tea is so sugary that it's numbed his taste buds off forever. also he's totally the type to give himself a cream moustache.
wonwoo
hibiscus tea. the slight cranberry-ish tartness of the taste feels very much like wonwoo for some reason? it makes me think of the shininess of glasses frames, the rough texture of books, and the gentle deepness of his voice.
woozi
coffee disguised as tea. idk how to explain this bro but jihoon is Not Really a tea-drinking person in my eyes (not enough caffeine in it) but people keep telling him that having 7 coffees a day isn't good for his health so he's started drinking “tea” instead. except it's not actually tea and it's just. coffee. hidden in his flask.
minghao
matcha. matcha is lowkey just an aesthetic tea ngl but also?? it's a tea that's basically known for its health benefits bc it's just sooo so healthy and i feel like minghao, as a tea nerd, would love that. also matcha flavoured stuff is vv yum and makes me think of him for some reason
mingyu
masala chai. ive never actually had masala tea before, but i think the combination of richness and warmth and spices of it just suits him very very well. just the vibes of it make me think of mmingyu's undeniable presence and his warm, beautiful, colourful nature
dokyeom
peach tea. fruit teas are definitely more dokyeom’s style bc they're kinda attached to the idea of youth and smiles, cuz children r more likely to have fruit teas. also peach tea is just sooo so sweet and fragrant. especially iced peach tea!! to me, i think that it literally tastes like syrupy sunshine.
seungkwan
rose tea. it's just such a delicate, floral, aromatic tea with veryyyy good health benefits, and not only does it give me seungkwan vibes, i also think that he'd really like to drink it. also the floating rose buds in tea are so very aesthetic.
vernon
tea biscuits. i couldn't think of a tea for him help anyone who has anything negative to say about tea biscuits is gonna have to Fight me bc they're actually sooo nice and i can and will finish half a pack of tea biscuits in one sitting if you let me. vernon probably could do that too.
chan
milk tea. idk man but for me, i think that the unambiguous milky taste of milk teas just make me think of the all-encompassing and reassuring warmth of chan. he's like the pleasant milkiness of the milk tea that stays on your tongue

Hey guys! I wanted to put together a list of low spoons foods, and thought you might enjoy it. My primary objective was to come up with a list that requires little to no prep, is relatively inexpensive, and has a fairly long shelf life. There's also a few of my favorite simple recipes at the end. Bon apatite!
Proteins: Tuna/Canned chicken: Canned tuna/chicken can usually last a few years, and you can get it for a dollar or two, sometimes cheaper. It can be cooked easily in a skillet, eaten raw, or added to soups/pasta. Mix with some mayo for a quick tuna or chicken salad that goes well on bread, tortillas, or crackers. You can add raisins or cheese for a little extra variety as well! Breakfast sausage: A lot of meats are really scary to cook with, but I've come to the conclusion that breakfast sausage is designed for people with that groggy, zombie-like morning brain, so it's fairly simple; just pop it on a plate (usually with a paper towel to catch the grease) and toss it in the microwave. You can get it as links or patties, and if you're like me where foods with a hint of flavor are unreasonably spicy, there's a maple variety that's sweet rather than spiced. Deli meats: There's no rule against buying a package of pre-sliced ham, turkey, roast beef or even bologna that's designed for sandwiches and instead just snacking on it when you need some protein, or just serving it on the side with your meal. If it feels weird to just eat sliced deli meat and you've got the time and energy, get some sliced cheese as well, cut them into squares with a butter knife, and eat them with crackers for DIY lunchables. Peanut Butter: Peanut butter is an excellent source of protein, and you can eat it on bread, crackers, tortillas, celery, pancakes, or even just on its own on a spoon! If you don't like the texture, you can mix it into something else like oatmeal, sauces, or pancake batter. If you don't like the flavor, try it with a little cinnamon sugar (put cinnamon and sugar in a jar or shaker and shake it until incorporated.) If you've got a peanut allergy, alternative butters are good too, but often separate if you leave them out for too long, but are much better in baking than on their own. Eggs: Making eggs is hard sometimes, but you can boil a bunch in advance and leave them in the fridge for when you need them (not too many or for too long, though.) Just put them in water and bring it to a boil; once the eggs start to float, leave them there for ten minutes. Once they're done, drain them and leave them in cold water for ten minutes to cool. Either peel in advance if you've got the time, or peel as needed. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
Dairy: Sliced Cheese: Just like with deli meats above, you can get sliced cheese to chomp on when you need a little boost. There's a lot of flavors to choose from! Shredded Cheese: Shredded cheese is great for sprinkling onto your meals or just snacking on handfuls of. You can also throw some onto some tortilla chips and pop 'em in the microwave for ~30 seconds to make quick, cheap nachos. Cheese sticks: Not a fan of eating slices or shreds of cheese? Cheese sticks are much more snackable and can be eaten on the go! Yogurt: You can eat it as is, or you can mix in frozen fruits and honey to create an almost ice-cream like treat! Chocolate Milk: A carton of chocolate milk that you are going to drink is better for you than a carton of regular milk that is going to go bad because you can't bring yourself to drink it. If you're like me and milk leaves a weird taste in your mouth, try following it with water or finishing the milk before you finish the rest of your meal. Cream Cheese: You can put this stuff on anything, guys. Bagels? Crackers? Toast? English Muffins? Tortillas? Regular muffins? Cookies, even? Go crazy! Cottage cheese: A lot of people like cottage cheese for salads or with peaches, but it can also be tasty on its own.
Grains: Crackers: You can eat them as is, you can add cream cheese, nutella, peanut butter, tuna salad, deli meats and cheeses, or you could dip them in a spread like hummus, guac, or ranch. Tortillas: Sometimes bread can be Scary and Evil and there's no way you're gonna eat a whole loaf before it goes bad. I get it. Tortillas last longer, they're a better texture, and it's only eight servings per bag. Use them whenever you'd make a sandwich- pb&j, ham & cheese, tuna salad and more can all go in a simple wrap or roll up. If you're feeling ambitious, you can also make a quick breakfast burrito by throwing scrambled eggs and breakfast sausage in a tortilla with a little cheese. Pancake mix: Boxed pancake mix is simple enough- just add water, or milk to make it fluffier, then cook according to instructions. It's a little time consuming, but it's simple to learn, and if you make a big enough batch you can just pop them in the microwave, airfryer, or even the toaster in the morning for the rest of the week. You can also spice up your mix by adding frozen fruits, peanut butter, bacon bits & cheese, or chocolate chips, or by replacing the water in the recipe with coffee, apple cider, or chocolate milk! Toaster Waffles: Toaster waffles are great for a quick breakfast or snack, but can also be used for sandwiches, or topped with a protein like peanut butter!
Fruits and Vegetables: Raisins: Raisins are sweet, inexpensive, take a long time to expire, and are guilt free— no one in the history of ever has ever felt bad about eating too many raisins! You can easily throw them in a trail mix (trail mix is a loose term; just throw whatever little snacks you have in the pantry into a bowl and mix 'em together,) or a chicken salad, and they're really good sprinkled on peanut butter! Dried fruit: You can find these in the trail mix section of most stores. If you don't like raisins, there may be a different dried fruit you do like. Dried bananas are delightfully crunchy. Dried mango is still a little moist. Find a dried fruit that works for you! Pickles: Pickles are a vegetable with an extremely long fridge life. You don't have to settle for pickled cucumber though; you can find all kinds of pickled vegetables at the store, or ask a friend who pickles (you know which friend came to mind) if they have a jar of pickled veggies they'd sell you or any tricks to pickling your own. Frozen Fruit: Fruits last so much longer frozen, and you can get fairly good sized bags of them for not too much at the store. They're great for mixing in with yogurt, baking, pancakes, and more! Frozen Vegetables: If expiration dates are your worst enemy, consider getting some longer lasting frozen veggies. They can be microwaved or added to soups or ramen. If you're not a fan of the taste, you can hide them by adding some in with the frozen fruit in a smoothie. Canned vegetables: Canned veggies also last a while, and can be added to soups, boiled, or sometimes eaten as is. Canned soup: Tomato soup or a soup with veggies in it is a great way to get some vegetables into your diet. You can also add any canned, fresh, or frozen veggies to any can of soup you have on hand to use up some of your leftovers before they go bad. Tomato sauce: If you keep a jar of marinara, pasta, or pizza sauce on hand in the fridge, you can spread it on any grain you have lying around (bagel, biscuit, crackers, bread, english muffin, tortilla) and add shredded cheese to make a quick and fun pizza. You can go crazy with extra toppings as well! Applesauce: It's great as is, but you could also mix in brown sugar and cinnamon, or add it to pancakes or oatmeal. It can also be used as an egg substitute in most of your baking, and you can even use it as a spread on pancakes!
Quick Recipes: 3 Ingredient Pancakes • 1/2 cup applesauce (or one mashed banana) • 1 egg • 1 packet instant oatmeal Mix all ingredients together and cook on a greased skillet at 375°
Two Minute Mug Cake • 6 tablespoons boxed cake mix • 4 tablespoons water or milk Combine ingredients in a mug and microwave for one minute.
Toaster Crispy Quesadilla • 1 tortilla • 1 slice of cheese (I like to use cheddar!) • deli meat Place a slice of cheese toward the top of the tortilla. Layer desired amount of meat on top. Fold the sides over your meat and cheese (so they can't drip out the sides) then fold in half over the cheese (so it won't drip out the bottom.) Place in the toaster with the open end UP! Toast as desired.
Tuna Bagel Melts • plain bagel • tuna salad (one can of tuna with a few spoonfuls of mayo to taste) • two slices cheese Open the bagel and spread tuna salad on it. Place the cheese on top of the bagels. Broil or airfry for a few minutes.
Cracker Pizzas • a dozen crackers • a few tablespoons tomato sauce • three slices of cheese Arrange the crackers on a plate. Spread a spoonful of sauce on each cracker. Fold each slice of cheese into fourths so they break apart. Place one little slice on each cracker. Microwave for thirty seconds.
Simple Smoothie Recipe • 1/2 cup yogurt • 1/2 cup milk • 1/2 cup frozen fruit Combine all ingredients in the blender. Blend. [To make this easier, pre-mark your blender. Add a half cup of water to your blender and mark with a sharpie to the fill level. Repeat twice. You now know what level to fill each ingredient to without the hassle of measuring them.

Mini Fanfic #1158: New Donk Morning Parade (Super Smash Bros Ultimate)
9:24 a.m. at the Sidewalks of New Donk City.........
It was a bright, lively day in New Donk City as everyone gathered around to watch over this year's Christmas Parade. And what better way to start the celebration of then with.......
'Soft Piano Playing'
Guy Dressed in a Bowser Costume: (Singing While Playing on the Piano on a Float) Peach, you're so cool~ And with my star, we're gonna rule~ Peeeach!~
Chorus: Peach~
Guy Dressed in a Bowser Costume: Please understand!~ I'M GONNA LOVE YOU TO THE VERY END!~
Bowser: (Scoffs Before Turning at His Villains Peers) You guys are hearing this? (Turns Back at the Performance) I can sing that piece MILES better than those posters up there can!
Hades: Really? (Forms an Evil Smirk on his Face) Your last singing performance seems to prove otherwise.
Bowser: It was three years and I was completely wasted that night, so that obviously doesn't count, Hades!
Sephiroth: Drunk or not, your pianist skill is hardly much to be desired in retrospect.
Pichu: (Nodded in Agreement) Pi.
Bowser: (Turns to the Father-Son Duo) That's only cuz I've been rusty for what? A near decade now? (Crosses his Arms While Putting on a Cocky Smirk.on his Face) I was a pretty one hell of a prodigy back then. Check it!
Bowser shows the trio a video of himself playing the piano at a very young age on his phone.
Baby Bowser: (Playing thePhone. Piano Off Key) DA DA DA DA DADADAAAA! DA DA DA DA DAAAADAAA!
Kamek: (Shed a Tear From his Eyes as He Watches the Young King Koopa's Performance) ('Sniff') My darling little king is a prodigy of the making......I'm so proud!~
Pichu: (Looks in Disgust at the Video in Front of Him) Pi....chu....
Hades: (Already Has a Deadpinned Look on his Face) Yeah, you were a really prodigy alright. Of pure delusional.
Sephiroth: (Simply Shrugs) I've heard worse.
...................................................................................
"Santa": (Sitting on his Red Sledge with Mrs Claus, Waving at Everyone Around) HO HO HO! MERRRRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYBODY!~
Sage: (Standing next to Bowser Jr While Watching the Parade in her Hologram Form) So this is what Santa Claus look like, Junior?
Jr: Yep. The big, jolly, fatman himself. A legend among all the boys and girls from across the globe. (Turns to Sage) He's gonna be at mall all month, so we'll probably go he see at some point.
Sage: (Smiles Softly) That sounds fun. (Sighs While Letting Out a Sigh) It's a shame I couldn't physically join you all on this wonderful experience this year.
Jr: Hey, your family comes first, right? There's no need to feel bad about that. Besides, don'tcha guys still have that huge project you still have to finish?
Sage: (Simply Nodded) For the most part. The Homemade Ice Cream Maker is approximately 52,6% in completion, so there's much more work to be thoroughly done. (Smiles Softly) Regardless, that it in of itself, won't ever stop me from missing you dearly, Junior.
Junior: (Immediately Starts Blushing) O-Oh! Well, I'm uh......already missing you already, Sage.....So does everyone else in the Smash Family......
Sage: (Giggles Softly) I can tell~ Your attempts at holding my holographic hands is evidence of that.
Jr: (Looks Down at his Hand Before Quickly Moving it Away From the Hologram) What handing hold? I just feel the need to grab something is all.....
................................................................................
Roy: (Watching Sage Giggling at an Already Flustered Junior in the Distance) ('Tch') Look at 'em. Tryin' to be all cutesy with one another....(Cross his Arms) Gonna be a matter of time before those two start becoming certified lovebirds.
Ludwig: (Too Busy Reading the New Donk City's Guide Book) And yet here you are with little to no one to romanticize.
Kumatora: (Shrugs) Not too surprising really.
Roy: (Glares at the Couple Beside Him) Can it, nimberons! I can get any chick anytime I want whenever I feel like it!
Kumatora: Uh-huh.
Ludwig: (Casually Turns the Page) Highly doubt it, but good for you I suppose.
Roy: Oh screw the both you!
Maria: (Smiles Brightly) I don't think I could ever comprehend how breathtaking these parades are.
Alucard: I've seen more entertaining attractions in my younger years really. But I suppose this.....parade you all speak isn't too bad.
Roy: (Turns to Alucard with his Signature Cocky Smirk of his Face) What's the matter, old man? Afraid of getting out of your comfort zone?
Alucard: (Rolls his Eyes) Far from it. I'm only experiencing the moderation of what this generation has to offer. Which is more than I say about you sulking over having no romantic partner.
Roy: (Starts Letting Out a Offened Chuckle) I'm sorry, was that a remark you made towards me just now?
Alucard: I wouldn't say it was a remark per say. I just happen to noticed a blatant insecurity and felt the need to call it out as it is.
Roy: (Starta Chuckling) Blatant insecurity, huh? Alright. We'll see who's insecure.....(Glares at the Vampire) After I beat your ass in a game of Arm Wrestling!
Ludwig: (Abruptly Closes his Book Before Turning Towards his Brother) What?
Kumatora: (Raises an Eyebrow in Confusion) Huh?
Maria: (Places her Hand on her Lips in Genuine Surprise) Oh!
Alucard: Pardon?
Roy: You heard me! I challenge you to one on one arm wrestle! Winner gets bragging on all accounts!
Ludwig: Roy, have you ACTUALLY lost your mind right now!? This is Master Alucard you are challenging!
Roy: (Turns to Ludwig) AND!? I ain't scare of an old timer like him!
Kumatora: I dunno, ypu should he. 'Heard he's a real tough cookie to crack.
Maria: The toughest cookie I've ever known and love.
Roy: A cookie I'mma bout to crack! (Pounds his Fist to the Palm of his Hands)
Ludwig: (Turns to his Girlfriend and Master) Kuma, grandmother, I'm imporing you to stop encouraging him even further!
Kuma: Luddy, it's fin-Wait. Grandmother?
Ludwig: (Eyes Widened at the Realization of What he Just Said) N-No! I-It's Ms! Ms. Maria I meant to say! N-Nothing else besides that.
Roy: ('Scoffs') Liar.
Maria: (Heart Begins to Melt in Pure Happiness as She Pulls Ludwig into a Loving Hug) Oh my dear, Luddy, I'd be honored to play the role of your Grandmommy~
Ludwig: I-I mean......(Starts Blushing) You don't have to....
Kuma: (Giggles Softly) Awww~ Congrats, babe!~ You just got yourself a grandma to look after!~
Alucard: Is that right? I suppose that makes me a grandfather then?
Ludwig: Master please.....
Roy: (Start Rolling his Eyes) ANYWAYS....(Turns Back To Alucard) Does my request still stands, geezer?
Alucard: ('Sigh') Very well. I accept your challenge. But can we at least do this on a later date? I'm currently enjoying my vacation with mi'lady and our faithful grandson.
Ludwig: (Glares at his Gran- Master) Okay, now you're just doing that on purpose!
Roy: ('Sigh') Aight, fine. We'll do once it's all over and we're back home. Good? Good. (Pulls his Habd Out) Now let's shake on it.
Alucard sighs once more as he reluctantly shakes on Roy's hand, awaiting for his so called challenge. In the near future.
....................................................................................
Diddy: ('Sigh') This is getting ridiculous, big guy. You can't keep wearing that every time you're out in public! You have better clothes to wear back the room.
DK: (Sighs While Wearing a Trench Coat, Hat, and Shades) Yeah, but I don't wanna be given death glares all day! They're reminding me way too much of Wrinkly's glare......
Diddy: (Starts Shivering at the Thought in Particular) Don't remind me.....Those eyes of her could even make Cranky curl up in fear......(Eyes Begins to Widened at Something that Catches his Attention) Hey, DK! This a look at this! (Points at a Float Rolling by of the Original DK Beating on his Chest in Pixelated Form)
DK: (Lowers his Shades Down to see the Float In Question) Hm. That's a pretty good looking float.
Diddy: Right? It's pretty and detailed....It's still crazy for me believe that Cranky used to look like this all those years ago.
DK: (Slowly Shakes his Head) Poor old man must've REALLY let himself go after those glory days ended.......
Diddy: (Shrugs) I can believe that. It would probably explains why he's so bitter and cranky all the time. (Turns Back to DK) Say, you think he'll like some souvenirs?
............................................................
'Horns Playing'
Pauline: (Singing While Riding On her Christmas Float Along with Bandmates) It's time to Jump Up in the air!~ Jump Up, don't be scared!~ Jump up and cares will spar awayyyyy!~
Peach: (Watches the Performance Driving by While Letting Out a Heavy Sigh)
?????: Peach?
Peach: (Immediately Comes Back to Reality) Ah! Um....(Clears her Throat Before Looking Down at Mario) Y-Yes, Mario?
Mario: Sorry for startling you for there. You looked like you were out if it minute there. Is everything okay?
Peach: (Giggles a Bit as She Hugs Onto Mario From Behind) You worry too much, dear~ I'm okay, honest! I was too busy listening to the song Pauline was performing is all.
Mario: (Smiles Brightly) You like it? She wrote for me as thanks for helping her and city out in the past, even went as far as to throw me a huge concert afterwards
Peach: Oooh~ That must've really exciting for you.
Mario: (Smiles Sheepishly) It was more surprising if anything. But I had a great time regardless.
Peach: I'm so glad you did. It seems like a more remarkable reward than some cake.
Mario: (Starts Shaking his hand a Bit) Ehhh.....I think concerts are fine and all, but I prefer receiving cakes more if anything.
Peach: (Eyes Starts Sparkling in Happiness) Even mines?~
Mario: (Chuckles Lightly) Yes, dear~ Especially yours~ You're a wonderful cook. (Kiss the Top of Peach's Hand)
Peach: (Happily Rocks Mario From Side to Side a Bit) Ohh you sweetheart of a plumber, I'm flattered!~ Thank you!~ (Forms a Proud Smile on her Face) (HA! Score one for the princess back home, Mayor!)
Zelda: (Staring at The Couple in the Mid Distance While Standing Next to Mewtwo) Wow. You were not kidding when you said she's jealous fueled
Mewtwo: (Simply Shrugs While his Arms is Crossed) Not surprising really. Her expressions alone were too easy to read.
Zelda: Yeah. Kinda like a certain Legendary Pokémon I know. (Turns to Mewtwo with a Raised an Eyebrow)
Mewtwo: (Turns Away) You're going still on about that?
Zelda: Kinda hard for me not to when you tried to find out what I'm getting you this year with your mind reading shenanigans.
Mewtwo: (Starts Blushing).......Teaching you psychic manipulation was a mistake.
Zelda: Uh-huh sure. Just wait until Christmas morning like everyone else, okay Mewwy? I promise it'll be worth the wait.
Mewtwo: (Pulls Out his Pinky) You solemnly swear?
Zelda: (Giggles Softly While Playfully Rolls her Eyes) Yes, I pinky swear. (Wraps her Pinky Around Mewtwo's) You cute goof~
Mewtwo: Not cute. But also thank you.

My favorite menu items that I tried from Jollibee:
Before I tried Jollibee in my country last year, I did some research about the restaurant on Wikipedia by finding out what foods they have on the menu compared to the Philippines.
Without further ado, let's get started!
Jolly Sweet Spaghetti: This is one of my go-to menu items whenever I get stressed out. When I ordered the Jolly Sweet Spaghetti from their menu, I wanted to know what it tasted like compared to Filipino traditional spaghetti.
When my food arrived, I wanted to know what this dish tasted like compared to the Filipino version of Jolly Spaghetti. This meal was topped with sweet banana ketchup, savory tomato sauce, red beef hotdogs, and cheddar cheese. As for the spaghetti, it was perfectly al-dente, and the pasta did not get soggy when it came with the set.
Overall, the Malaysian version of the sweet-style spaghetti is better than the other restaurant's version of spaghetti in the Philippines which the sauce has a not-so-sweet taste and the sausages are not as flavorful as the beef and pork-flavored sausages.
Peach Mango Pie:
One of my favorite snacks from Jollibee is this sweet hot filling of Filipino mangoes with peach slices in this deep-fried pastry which makes it a tasty treat right after a meal.
I used to dislike mangoes back in my middle school years. However, when I started to buy the dried version of mangoes, it tasted sweet and not too sour for my liking.
As I got older, I started to like mangoes and they had a gummy-like texture with sugar that had a sweet crunch.
The blended mango filling in the pie was sweet and not too sour. As for the bits of peach, it was delicious when mixed together and put in a pie. I love this hot dessert and when I go to Bukit Bintang, I would eat it again when the final exams are over.
Fiesta Floats:
Did you know that they had a different type of Fiesta Floats topped with a perfect swirl of Vanilla ice cream that encouraged buyers to try a summer treat in the Philippines back in the 2010s?
Unfortunately, you can only find these three types of floats here in Malaysia. While in the Philippines, it's popular among Filipinos who want to get a refreshing drink during the summer break.
Two months ago, after New Year's Day, I wanted to order one of the Fiesta Floats at the kiosk in Sunway Pyramid as a refreshing drink for myself due to us getting lost in the mall. But I saw that the drinks were sold out due to a shortage of ingredients.
A week later, after the tour of the B-Verse Beyond the Stars Exhibition, I went to another restaurant in Pavilion Bukit Jaili where I saw that all of the Floats were available on their menu.
I was delighted that they still serve the drink to everyone who wants to buy it. I ordered a Chocolate Float for me to try it out. However, it does not look the same as the one in the picture, but the staff members did their best to make a perfect swirl of vanilla ice cream.
The chocolate drink wasn't sweet, and I could only taste the chocolate inside the milk that had an okay taste as I drank a sip. As for the vanilla ice cream swirl, it wasn't that bad for my liking as seen in the commercial on Facebook. Next time if the drink is not sweet, I will tell the manager to add more chocolate milk for the drink.
Overall, I could suggest to the locals who want to try out these foods from this Filipino fast-food restaurant in Malaysia. As for the Philippines, it is not recommended to Muslims as some of the products are not permissible for them to eat.
If I have time, I could bring one of my friends to try this restaurant out for a treat after class to explore what fast food spaghetti tastes like compared to other kinds of pasta in restaurants.

Why did you elbow me? 107
Achilles Castle part 12
Alexis: pov the movie is good so far, I pause the movie so I can make popcorn for the whole family, Dad, Kate and Lanie are having movie theater butter flavor. Martha likes the caramel flavor and So does Jim. Me and Dave are having the triple cheddar flavor. Once the popcorn is done I add the flavors and put it in bowls. I grabbed 2 sodas from the fridge for us both and some candy we bought the other day. The movie just ended. It's starting to get late, Dave leans in and kisses me goodnight.
Kate: pov i showered earlier in the night before i sat outside with Castle I can feel someone waking me up, it's Lanie saying it's late and I need to get to bed. In the bathroom I brush my teeth after her then head to bed. I'm having a hard time sleeping. Maybe it's because Castle isn't sleeping next to me. In the morning I take my meds then hop in the shower. Lanie already took her shower. She is wearing a peach colored shirt and tan shorts. My shampoo/body wash is strawberry scented. Once I'm done I change into a coral tank top and Grey shorts. Lanie has me lay on the bed so she can change my ampstrip. While looking in the mirror I rub scar cream into my scars, then take my pills then head downstairs.
Castle: pov Kate helps me get dressed in a blue t-shirt and black shorts. Mother is making pancakes for everyone, Kate is having yogurt with her pancake. Me and Lanie talked about how the guy from cardiac rehabilitation might not want us around. I took my pain pill with food right now. l take 4 doses a day, 1 with every meal and one before bed. Alexis and Dave are heading to the beach so they can have some alone time and Kate can have space to exercise, and not be bothered. The guy shows up, as Alexis and Dave finish packing a cooler with snacks and water then head out to the beach. His name is Carter, he has Kate sit on the sofa so they can go over a few things before they start. He listens to heart and lungs, and says everything looks good to start working out. Since it's not too hot they can start outside. He says Lanie told him on the phone you have a pool. I say yes.
Cardiac rehabilitator Carter: pov I ask Lanie if Kate is allowed in the pool. Lanie says yes she took a cardiac pool safety class. They both change into bathing suits, so do I. Back outside her dad is reading a book outside on the porch while Martha is talking to Castle. Lanie grabs a life jacket and helps Kate put it on. She said Kate uses an ampstrip to monitor her heart rate. I decided to have Castle open the app and keep an eye on the numbers I tell him if it goes over a certain number tell me. The 3 of us get in the pool, the water is a nice temperature. I start off by having her float on her back moving her arms until she makes it to the other side. I notice her left arm is not as good as the right. Lanie says her left arm was recently injured and explains everything. I mention to Lanie that her left arm doesn't extend as far as the other one. After swimming two laps around the pool. We hop out of the pool. I have Kate sit down so I can check her vitals, they look good so far. Once Kate is laying on the floor I bend her legs until they reach close to her chest area. I do this a few times. I then move onto her arms bending and moving them.
Lanie: pov Carter suggests Kate bike ride during the mornings or nights when it is not as hot it will help her keep her strength up. He says riding a motorcycle does not count, after a couple more exercises and stretches its time for Carter to leave. Alexis and Dave arrive back saying they stopped for ice pops and some crunch bar type ones. I read the back to make sure Kate can have them. She grabs a yellow one which looks like a pineapple flavored one, they are made with real fruit juice. Alexis and Dave both have a crunch bar ice pop. Kate decides to go upstairs for a nap since we are leaving after lunch.
Martha: pov I suggest Richard take a nap until lunch, he has ordered some restaurant food to be delivered for lunch which sounds amazing. Alexis and Dave are in Richard's office downloading photos from their phones onto a storage app to save space on their phones. Jim is relaxing and reading a book outside on the porch. Lanie is on the phone talking to Esposito, I go upstairs to read some lines. Lunch should be here soon.
Castle: pov I only napped for a few minutes, I grabbed my computer from the table in front of me to get some writing done, I managed to write a few pages. I grab my water bottle from the table in front of me. I also check my social media apps and reply to a few friends who have texted me today asking how I'm doing. It is decided Ryan, Jenny and Sarah Grace are going to sleep in the guest room. Dave will be sleeping on an air mattress in Alexis's room she promised to behave. Esposito will be sleeping in the guest room that Dave had been sleeping in.
Kate: pov I'm awoken to a funny feeling my skin is a little itchy. I just want to scratch it so bad. Which is starting to freak me out. Lanie comes into the room saying she knew I was up. Esposito, Ryan, Jenny and Sarah grace are coming tomorrow morning just before lunch. She must have just gotten off the phone with Esposito. Lanie says let's get you downstairs so I can look at you better because you don't look so good. To be continued. …….

Koolfi Creamery, 599 MacArthur, San Leandro, CA 94577
Koolfi Creamery was inspired by Indian flavors, but the chief ice cream engineer is also inspired by other global flavors as well. The ice creams are made in house with organic milk or coconut milk (for non-dairy flavors). Choose from scoops, sundaes, floats, and affogatos. There’s also a savory menu of Indian style toasts and samosas and pies on the weekends. And they have hot beverages.
The ice cream flavors are interesting and complex (e.g., jackfruit & coconut, guava with chili, garam masala peach, mango lassi. However, you’re limited to two samples, so I didn’t get to try too many flavors. Also, I was trying to decide on what flavors to sample and she suggested one and gave me a sample before I asked for it – mmm, it was a flavor that I would not have selected – the spicy guava. I don’t really like guava. It was fine but rather sweet.
Gulab jamun sundae ($11.95): two warm gulab jamuns, one scoop of ice cream, pistachios, rose petals. I knew I had to get this because I do love gulab jamuns. It was really good, quite sweet but very Indian dessert-like. I chose the koolfi ice cream which had a strong cardamom/saffron flavor and crushed pistachios adding texture. The gulab jamun were soft and warm. My only gripe is that the scoop of ice cream was small (smaller than usual) and melted quickly. Are all the scoops smaller than average?
Samosas (2 for $6): on the smaller side, crispy shell that wasn’t oily, stuffed with mashed potatoes, peas, and spices. Very tasty, maybe a touch on the saltier side.
The shop is bright and cute with an outdoor patio. The credit card minimum is $10. They also sell prepacked pints.
4 out of 5 stars.

May 2024
Spending the first day of the month completely alone. At home. Working on little projects. Labeling all the boxes in the basement. Hanging art. Building a wooden frame for my new kitchen shelves. Tiling my bookcase.
Guessing correctly why I suddenly got a tummy ache. Doing exactly the right thing to make it go away (coffee and meds on an empty stomach are never a good idea).
Mentally apologizing to my body for only really moving it once a week during yoga class.
Recreating my grandma's potato goulash. Eating it with sour cream.
Buying a stool on sale that might or might not look like a little sheep.
Strawberry milkshake on a stressful day. It literally cooled me down.
Getting to know the lady who lives in the cool and airy apartment across the street.
Caught in the act: a little birdy landing on my sheepskin, ripping out a big fur ball for its nest.
Prioritizing alone time. Saying no to social obligations.
Long naps. Sleeping with the windows open, a nasal dilutor and mouth tape. Such a difference. Sometimes I even put a teeth whitening strip in and I want to start experimenting with self-hypnosis tracks.
Unearthing one of my old favourites: Dallmayr Ginger Ginseng green tea.
Sorting out my jewellery just to find a few pieces I really wanted to wear again!
Going to Gregor von Raffay's (Kathi's dad) vernissage. Falling in love with his painting Am Meeresgrund. Having a good time with Chili, Kathi and their kids Luis and Maya.
Rolling down the car windows. Singing along loudly to Soak Up the Sun by Sheryl Crow. My summer jam 2024. Also, I was surprised when I saw what a detailed Wikipedia article this song has.
Coconut porridge and fresh peaches (what a divine smell) for breakfast. Eating outside on the balcony.
Self-massage and gua sha with Aesop Breathless oil - a subtle blood orange smell.
The sudden urge to listen to Unison again. And again. Masterpiece.
Making a playlist of podcast episodes that left an impression.
Watching movies from the late 80s/90s/early 00s I haven't seen yet. I need more feel-good cinema in my life.
Singing at church with my choir. Emotional... such dense energy in there, every time.
Buying spices, bread and Greek antipasti at the market. I wonder why it's so rare for me to go shopping there. I always enjoy it tremendously. But it's probably because I've always thought that it's too expensive. I might have to put market days in my calendar! Hope that helps.
The golden chain tree has started to bloom in yellow cascades in our garden!
A spontaneous decision to join some friends at the drag flea market at Pathos. Exactly the right kind of people I needed that day. Julia, Daniel, Patricia and Katharina. I bought two wigs and a sassy Queen of Hearts costume. Then we sat outside an Italian restaurant until it got cold. Quite entertaining and the right amount of socializing.
My first time in a Float tank.
Finding Isabel Allende's Eva Luna in a box of free books after the thunderstorm.
Making banana ice-cream as a midnight snack.
An improv theatre workshop. So many good ideas and such fun! I even got a day off for it! (and one of the participants who noticed that I was having a tough time and offered me her yoghurt; we really vibed in the word association exercise, too)
Not an exclusively good thing because it came with a lot of fear, an activated abandonment wound and some emotional damage (I spent my lunch break locked in the handicapped toilet trying to calm down my tense body, not knowing how to properly release my emotions, crying big teardrops on the tile floor): three tough but cathartic conversations with C. Deciding that we would stay together. And that lovely moment in the morning when I felt my affection for him coming back.
Sneaking into yoga class. Listening to my body. So glad I went.
Being a member of the little team that is going to suggest new outfits for our gospel choir. Using Miranda Priestley as our group icon. / Also: everyone's joy when Beate got a phone call from Sarah telling her that her son was born a few hours before!
Baffled parents asking me how I manage their kids - and I'm the only teacher who can. Apparently I'm doing something right.
Single use changing mats. Best idea ever. So liberating. I hate wet spots.
The first rays of sunshine in the morning after a few horribly rainy days. Hoping for a chance to dry everything wet on the balcony.
Running into Uschi and Andrea. Dealing with their gossip with a new, detached energy.
Adding a few lemon slices to my tap water. Using my Retap bottle with the wooden lid for the first time in years.
A lengthy journalling session with lots of insights.
Flight mode for more peace of mind.
My strelitzia producing a huge new leaf. The baby is bigger than all the old ones.
Meeting some members of the Burn Family at Stroke Art fair. Good conversations with Sandra, Yeli and Kathi. Discovering a few inspiring artists.
Cinema and dinner with LenObi. It's been a while.
The moon appearing as a faint but full disc with a thin crescent in the lower right corner.
Eggplant burgers.
Visiting Ramapriya's yoga studio for the first time. I don't know what took me so long. We reconnected immediately and now I'm thinking about doing a Yoga Vidya teacher training. I learned so much in that one class. Her pelvic floor asanas and explanations were fantastic. Afterwards we talked about HSP, Human Design (she’s a fellow member of the ManGen club), her daughter, and she showed me a mantra to remove obstacles / gain energy, inspiration and joy. I left after more than two hours. C. called me and told me about a crazy dream featuring an erupting volcano.
Buying a FeetUp as a birthday gift to myself to practice handstands and improve my balance and core strength.
Hanging laburnum branches above C.'s kitchen table.
A walk through the forest/Filzen with C. Picking a bouquet of wildflowers. And “old people sex” which is what we called lying in bed attached to the same EMS machine, having a good conversation. Jumping on the trampoline together. Receiving little caresses and holding hands while watching TV. An intimate high pressure massage. Telling our dreams to each other in the morning. Making travel plans. Turning it around.
When the podcast is about to end right when you arrive at home.
Talking to Annika about portals.
Body doubling. Grading English tests while C. was assembling his new standing table. I love working side by side. Or even just somebody being present - it's some sort of control mechanism, I feel supported. I did that for C. when I just sat with him while he sorted out his storage space. And I think it really helped him, too.
Reading the lyrics of Die Interimsliebenden by Einstürzende Neubauten with C. In ihrem gemeinsamen Mund lebt ein Kolibri. Mit jedem seiner Flügelschläge, dafür das Auge viel zu träge, Kulturen erblühen und vergehen; ganze Kontinente untergehen.
Getting to know Elena, who works with Somatic Experiencing and Craniosacral Method. We got to know each other and I drew two pictures of my body. How it currently feels and what I want it to feel like. Interesting insights.
Waking up in a weird but calm energy on my birthday. Drawing the receptivity card. Attending a workshop on Deep Listening at the Art Academy. We meditated and played with sounds, even synthesizers. While some of it was too much for me (I could hear the electric current and most of the synthesizer sounds felt threatening) I enjoyed the concept and exercises. The other participants were all art teachers too. I felt resistance around one of them, Bastien, but we started talking over lunch. It got interesting really quickly and we spent two more hours in the English Garden after the workshop. B. told me his story. How he received healing. Experiences he's made. It was batshit crazy but I think I believe him. Was that the story I needed to receive that day? / Then I had tacos with Ben and we got along famously. I told him how much I like him when he's sober. I rented a karaoke box for two hours and sang with lots of friends - even Manu came which delighted me more than I would have expected.
Another relational abyss. Melodramatic scenes, right out of a movie. Turning around one of the saddest days of the year by truly talking and listening to each other. Seeing the wounded inner child in my partner. Being there for him. A commitment to doing the work. Growth.
Thoughtful birthday presents. A pillow for my uncomfortable car, a beautiful wok with wooden handles, homemade liquor and roasted pistachios. A video note from Christian and Lian.
Joking with C. and L. Easy, relaxed, appreciative. Developing C.’s idea for his outside platform. A relaxed morning with a kiss goodbye.
Lucie blessing me by singing the Om Tryambakam mantra for my birthday.
Shower Citrus! Eating a citrus fruit in the shower. My theory: the warm steam enhances the smell of the essential oil in the peel. It smells divine! What an experience.
A lavish breakfast. The spontaneous decision to go on a roadtrip. So we just packed the car and went our way. First we visited C.'s friend Maxi. She's one of those people with whom you immediately feel comfortable with. Her home was lovely. I also want a garden, chickens, a yoga platform. We slept in a caravan, talked about Merlin Sheldrake, had green pancakes and herbs, vegetable cake, smelled her entire DoTerra essential oil collection (Cassium, Madagascar Vanilla and Grapefruit are my favorites). I adored her daughter’s hairstyle (two chopsticks in a bun) and felt very cheerful one morning when I came into the house and an old Cat Power album was playing. / Then we visited her mum and tested all her esoteric devices and appliances. Moved on, had to change plans because C. forgot his backpack. Stopped at a strawberry field. Met Maxi and Juna at a lake, went swimming. I was reminded of how much I love that kind of movement. Water really is my element. We slept at a campsite in Aue. Not my scene at all. But the next day, we went to a thermal bath and sauna. Another happy place. Then we stayed with Franzi in Leipzig. I adored her apartment and we had a long conversation on her balcony. We also visited Marie together the next day. I tried to convince her cat to like me - no such luck. And I also ran into Jonathan that afternoon who was in town to visit his brother. What a strange coincidence. We went vintage shopping - I bought stained glass (and really want to learn how to work with it myself), C. bought an iridescent fake python jacket and a postcard for his son. We checked into a hotel. Received another lesson on personal boundaries. Went for a swim and a sauna session. Had ramen noodles. After a big breakfast (with fresh nut butter, delicious) we went to Jena and spent Ralf's lunch break in the botanical garden with him. We had a lovely time and spent the rest of the day in the planetarium for a 360° full dome movie festival and a concert. I took breaks for a Thai massage and fantastic Indian food. What a great trip.
Chris Wormell’s incredible illustrations, escpecially his astronomical woodcuts.
The tiniest mushrooms starting to grow in my champignon kit.
Making strawberry Raffaello cake for the Filzhof pizza party. Getting to know some of C.'s neighbours better. Playing with the dogs.
Watching the first season of House of the Dragon together. I'm a Rhaenys fangirl now.
White Matcha chocolate. And the best snack: pecans, freeze dried strawberries and spelt flakes.
Going to the garden center with C.! I loved picking out plants for the empty corner in his garden.
Alone time. Feels so nice after spending a long time surrounded by people.
Finishing the sunrise decor on my kitchen cabinets. They turned out really lovely.
Re-folding all my clothes. Sorting them by type and colour.
Eating buckwheat for lunch and dinner.
A phone call with Ludwig. Learning about my crippling insecurity and the underlying fear. Paradoxically, insecurity is my safe space because it means inaction. I don't have to make a decision - which would come with the possibility of making a mistake. / The Lesson pt.II - I clicked on a random video to keep me company while eating cornflakes. It was, of course, on safety as THE basic human need. In my face.
Harvesting the first two tiny cucumbers on my balcony. The bush in front of my window in full bloom - thousands of tiny white blossoms.
Making myself a cup of herbal tea instead of aimless snacking, trying to meet an emotional need. It worked.
Activities with Lian: decorating pudding, folding origami Pokémon, playfights.
Finally grading the artworks from the final exam. Procrastination alarm.
Drawing my body now and in its desired state with Elena. Doing boundary exercises. Meeting my inner protector: a big fuzzy bear. Which made me think of Luki who like running around in dark brown sheep skin and radiates a very stable, secure energy.
Reaching a relative state of everything is as it should be in my apartment with hardly any loose threads.
A visit from Luna and her friend Jannik. Deep talk, hanging out in my bed.
The golden morning sun. The long days around summer solstice.

May 13 — Tsukiji and Ginza
Today, we went to Ginza and walked through Tsukiji Fish Market. There were so many different vendors selling both raw fish and prepared fish, as well as various desserts and drinks. I got tanghulu (sugar covered strawberries) and a matcha ice cream cone during our 30-minute break. We continued through the market and walked to the Tsukiji Hongwanji Temple. We couldn’t take photos inside, but I enjoyed the blend between Western and Eastern architecture and interior decoration. At first, we followed the usual shrine procedure of donating a coin and bowing. Something we did that was different was picking up a pinch of incense and putting it into the smoking incense bowl. We walked to the main city area of Ginza and then broke for a couple of hours before our next activity. I bought some stationery gifts for myself and my friends/family at Itoya, a six floor stationery store, and a few things at Uniqlo, another multi-floored store! My friends and I were too tired the other night to try McDonalds here, so we took the opportunity to try it out today! I got a McNugget meal with French fries and a Coke. My friends got coffee floats and a peach smoothie, both of which I didn’t see on the menu unfortunately.
At 6 PM, our group reconvened at the hotel to head to a Bunraku performance at the National Bunraku Theatre. We sat in for the last two acts of “The Secret Art of Rowing. Each of us got an audio guide to summarize the events/dialogue of the play in English. The guide also provided some interesting behind the scenes information about how the actors/chanters prepare and carry out their duties throughout performances.
After the Bunraku performance, my friends and I went to Mos Burger, where I had just a plain cheeseburger and a coffee milkshake. Both were really good!! We ended the night by hanging out and watching a movie, “Karate Kid 2”.
Academic Reflection:
I found the play really interesting and engaging. The part that I liked the most was where the audience found out that the two sons were switched. In the reading by Sakaro, I learned that this is a popular trope, migawari mono, where a lord’s child is saved by someone else’s child being substituted in their place. I found it surprising that this would be “the ultimate sacrifice possible under the feudal system” in the kinds of playwrights.
I was really impressed with the athleticism of the puppeteers and how well they were able to blend into the background and maintain consistent focus on the characters. The fight scenes were very intense and immersive. In the reading I also learned about tachimawari choreography, or fight choreography. The actors had to maneuver the characters as well as their own props, which were oars. The scene involved one character fighting off a host of attackers, which is a full example of a full-scale tachimawari. I also enjoyed how expressive the characters were and how their changing expressions coincided with the rhythm of the chanter’s voice and the musician’s playing.

What Became of the Carrot。Yumigeta Ako (23.10.17)
Good evening🌝
I'm Yumigeta Ako🛑
Thank you very much for your comments yesterday❗️
...
And And、an announcement📣
Yesterday I finally ate my buratta cheese with persimmon and olive oil and salt and black pepper!
As I ate it my eyes widened、that cheese was so delicious❗️
...
I bet it would also be delicious with peach〜!And it would be delicious with shine muscat grapes 🤤
I'll buy it as a reward for myself if I work really hard again…
Also today
Lookー!!!!!!
When I got home from school、I found this at home…✨️
Apparently Mama found it at the supermarket…
You can even eat the leafy part!🍃
But I thought I'd give the carrot leaves to our household idol Anzu-chan、and when I started walking towards her with the leaves…‼️
She came running over to see me😭
And she ate them from me!
I was so happy
I was kinda worried that she wouldn't like them since she hasn't had them in a while?、but I'm glad she enjoyed them❣️
As she kept munching she got closer and closer to my hand、she's an angel👼
She's so cute ♥️
Also normally she's pretty standoffish (which is cute too) but today she sat and wanted fussing from me🥰
I hope she's always this energetic and healthy!
Oh yeah、
Anzu-chan has a yearly molt、when her winter coat grows in。
And it's ended recently!
Anzu-chan's coat is now super soft and fluffy!
While fussing her I just kept thinking I wanna sleep curled up with her…、but Anzu-chan doesn't really like being cuddled &she generally runs off when I try (笑lol) So I'll just settle for saying 「You're so cute〜」✋
But sometimes she allows me to touch her✋
⋆┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈⋆
Well then it's time for today's Gettaa Life】✨
Today I went into town after school!
I suddenly realised I have absolutely no winter clothes! So I went to buy some、and incrediblyyyyy…
I spotted a kanzashi shopー‼️
Aren't they so prett〜y??
Loads of kanzashi were lined up in front of the store。
There were cream soda kanzashi、kanzashi coloured like the sunset、goldfish kanzashi… there were so many!!!
Don't kanzashi make you think of Oda-san!
Oda-san was using a kanzashi in the dressing room the other day、and watching her use it to put her hair up so easily was almost an art to behold
I was like
「Kanzashi are amazing‼️」!
So、when my hair grows long enough to tie back I want to find a cute shop and buy a kanzashi!
...
I Getted 「Appreciation for Japanese Culture」✨
By the way they were also selling a kanzashi that looked like a plum、and it was simple and cute that maybe I'll go back and buy it〜
That's all!This has been 【Gettaa Life】!
⋆┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈⋆
T/N News and information has not been translated
⋆┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈⋆
Today after I went to the kanzashi shop I went to the food department in a department store and bought 6 cups of 31 ice cream❗️ (T/N 31 = Baskin Robbins)
Matcha and Caramel ribbon and Love potion 31 and Popping shower and Rocky road and Chocomint!
In her blog yesterday Haga-san posted about the chocomint cream that she and Inoue ate and it looked so delicious that I wanted to eat chocomint myself today!
It's my first time trying 31's chocomint ice cream…((((;゚Д゚))))ガクガクブルブル
I'm so excitedー♡
Everyone which of these 6 flavours would you eat first????
And what's your favourite 31 flavour?
Please let me know in the comments💕︎
I love Orange sorbet and Cotton candy and also the floats but right now Popping shower is probably my favourite!
Well then I'll see you tomorrow!
This has been YumiGettaa Ako!Good night🦀🦀🦀

🍕 (What is their favorite food?) <3
Since it's not specified, I'll just write for everyone! (Including new OCs that I hadn't talked about until now.)
Brandy: Brandy's favorite food, if she allowed herself a cheat day, it would be a nice, juicy burger. She likes it with lettuce, ketchup, and mustard with a big side of fries.
Jasmine: Jasmine loves all kinds of curry, whether it's mild or spicy. Usually her friends can't keep up with how hot she likes it, but her family would happily eat her leftovers.
Skye: Skye's favorite food is a perfect match for coffee: banana nut bread. She likes to take a sip of coffee and then a bite of the bread to enjoy them together.
Nina: When Nina was young, she set out to master her mother's thumbprint cookies. She loves them most with raspberry or blackberry filling. Now she spoils all of her friends with her efforts.
Silve: Silve loves her cousin Lucia's pumpkin spice donuts and of course by extension, pumpkin pie itself.
Diana: If Diana had the choice, she'd have breakfast for dinner all the time. She'd want a choice of savory breakfast items rather than sweet, but she'd make some sweet things for Integra.
Integra: Integra gained a love of sweets from "helping" her older sister Lucia (aka taste-testing). One of her favorite fruits that she wants added to desserts is cherries.
Shane: Shane loves all kinds of potato chips, so more often than not, he's gonna be munching on some. He loves "strange" flavors of chips for the novelty, but if he had to pick a favorite, he'd pick the classic sour cream and onion.
Stella: Unlike her twin brother, Stella enjoys sweets more than savory things. However, she has to maintain her figure, so she can't indulge too much. But when she can, she likes things with honeydew and misses Japan because America doesn't have melon soda floats.
Blossom: As her team's mascot, once she discovered strawberries, she wants to eat everything related to strawberry. Though she likes fresh over artificial uses, like in handmade cakes or smoothies.
Angela: Angela's favorite food is her mama's peach cobbler. Sometimes she has it with vanilla ice cream, and sometimes she just wants to indulge on it by itself.
This was a fun thought exercise, so thanks a lot! 💖

Figured I'd show a VR world I have created for my personal enjoyment that, for some very good reasons, I don't plan to make public on VRChat:
Welcome to Mushroom Kingdom!
Or, a portion of it that I've idealized, with a custom lore. Made with various Nintendo assets (if you were still wondering why I keep it private) found in places like The Models Resource and Hello Fan Gaming, third-party assets and shaders (some free, others I paid for, like RED_SIM's sky), and some custom models/textures I've built myself, all assembled into one piece on Blender + non-static objects and terrain added on Unity.
Some would say that the emergence of this place in Mushroom Kingdom was an unlikely event. Located on the west side, which is the same direction where the Koopa Kingdom may be found several miles away, Koopas and Toads co-exist here. The picture above shows my favorite area—a mushroom square that stands nearby the river and a Toad-managed toy store featuring a sign from Mario Kart. (I actually tried to give shape to many brands depicted in the game, here. Just keep going through the post for more pics!)
The Koopa homes were inspired by the architecture found in Koopa Village, from Paper Mario. Notice that the roofs are, indeed, Koopa shells, but bigger. As you may probably already know, Koopas are not born with shells—these are forged in Koopa Kingdom to cover their bodies. The house roofs are built via the same process!
Also, light poles from Mario Galaxy! Because, in this kingdom, power comes from Power Stars.
Also, can you find the floating Lakitu...?
The house with a blue roof is my place! It is actually (almost) fully decorated, and it's where I spawn in this world. There is something that feels special about being in a normal-looking house, surrounded by fantasy.
Why the lack of ceiling lamp? Trust me, I have no idea either... ;P But look, I have an air fryer! And a succulent plant! And a small fridge!
This one is an older picture, as you can probably tell by the sky. (A different skybox was used.) But still I love it. It perfectly depicts how Toads's houses look like, and then again, these designs come from Mario Galaxy.
Another old pic I love - and yes, this world actually does have animated NPCs, if you were wondering! But they're few.
Also, remember what I said about Mario Kart signs? Take a closer look at the buildings on the left. :3
The vending machine is an asset from VRC Prefabs. I just customized the textures with the help of Photopea, so we can really drink a bit of Princess Orange in the streets!
This is the main plaza. The flags depict icons of Toad and Koopa (the latter was designed by me), and are a symbol of diplomacy and friendship between Toads and Koopas, despite all the disasters and mishaps that have previously affected their relationship, thanks to the long-lasting war between Mushroom and Koopa Kingdoms that is highly unlikely to end in the foreseeable future. Or, at least, as long as Bowser remains in power...
I created the facade with "Kinoko Station", too, in a way that Koopas and Toads were both represented by a single icon. The whole area is entirely commercial, so you'll find Toads selling mushrooms, Koopas selling peaches, a cafe, an ice cream parlor...
…and even an egg market! But those over there are not meant for eating, they're weapons to be thrown at your enemies. It's not rare to find Goombas wandering about and trying to spoil your day, so these eggs can come in handy for those who don't have a Yoshi friend with them.
YAAAAY for Mario Odyssey! The Crazy Cap is here, too, for all your clothing needs! And a place for Koopas to enhance or service their shells.
Mario Kart has so many different brands, I didn't manage to take advantage of all of them yet.
And here, we have entered a Toad house. Not sure how well I depicted it, but I tried to make it look a bit like Paper Mario Toad houses.
I'm yet to make a Koopa house interior.
Although you don't see any signs of Yoshis here at the moment, this area is meant to be a Yoshi community. Notice the fireplaces, just like Mario World and Mario Galaxy depict as part of their homes. They all live outdoors!
And that's it, for now. I wish Nintendo was at least a tad more lenient towards their property, much like Sega and how they've handled Sonic fan games using their assets. While VRChat is free and you may sometimes find public Nintendo-based worlds, I prefer to make sure I'm playing safe. This world is such a smorgasbord of different things from different games, sadly I feel it's impossible for me to make it playable for everyone to enjoy... TwT But I hope these pictures can inspire others, and make them as excited as I did while exercising creativity to turn things we really enjoy into something real. ...Or virtual, depending on your perspective. But if you want to make things public, please be careful, and make sure you plan ahead to avoid committing the same mistake as I did in the process of making something this big: create original stuff, use third-party stuff you have the rights to use, don't mix up copyrighted assets!
I will now end this with a short video. Hope you have enjoyed the trip!
youtube
(P.s. This is just me testing a simple Udon script where clicking a button triggers a trip through a Mario tube by animating an invisible station object while I'm sitting. The song in the background is available here.)
