| Your Salaryman Husband | (Vol 1)
Vol 2 Vol 3 Vol 4 Vol 5 Vol 6 Vol 7 Vol 8 Vol 9
Salaryman!Kento x Housewife!Reader;
Nanami puts on an apron to help his cute little housewife prepare dinner.
Word Count: 1k
CW: SFW, domestic fluff, fem!reader, newly married Nanami and Y/n,
A/n: First time writing for Kento... thanks for reading!
Your dear husband Kento Nanami was not one to come home late. Ever.
Even though it had only been about two months since your marriage, the daily routine had already been set, and you couldn't imagine that happening in a decade, let alone on the next day.
Of course that wouldn't be true in his past profession, as a Jujutsu Sorcerer, but he was back being a salaryman, never going to extra meetings or taking on any more jobs than his work contract required him to. Hence he rushed home, avoiding that dreaded overtime that the younger company members fought for. Even then it took a lot out of him.
Mr. Kento Nanami was a diligent worker from 9 o'clock in the morning to 5 o'clock in the afternoon. A senior manager at an investment company, his pure skill and dedication was the only way he could get that position. He never tried to do anything more than what he had to, which was providing customers with the best investment services he could. And you, the new Mrs. Nanami was his lovely housewife, always there to greet him when he got home. It was always the most comforting thought he had, while listening to the executives drone on about profits, and training the newcomers eager to reap those rewards as well. But then again, that is why he was in that business too, right?
As per usual, he quickly packed up his things and headed to the elevator right after the hour hand hit 5 on his watch. Ideally he would be home in the next thirty minutes, far more eager than his other coworkers. A promotion was not awaiting him since his marriage, but that wasn’t a concern. He had enough saved up for an early retirement anyway, and, more importantly, one would take away from his precious time with you.
While his heart beat was steady, walking to the train station as he did everyday, yours was much more rampant.
Rushing around the kitchen, you hurriedly washed and cut vegetables, meat, and ground spices as fast as you could. Dinner was expected to be served at about 6:00 pm that night, and afterward would be a relaxing evening with your husband, who would be done for the week. While the daily routine was solidified, the speed of your cooking was not. Especially when your carefully laid out schedule of repotting the plants, cleaning the bathrooms, and doing laundry took a bit too long for each one. It was already 5:15, and you had just popped the tarts into the oven.
Today's dinner consisted of a thick stew, crusty white bread, and miniature fruit tarts for dessert. With some preparations the day before, it was a plan that should have taken about two hours, most of which would be idle cooking time. That of course, did not happen.
Your usual greeting of your husband at the door was foiled for the first time. He opened the door promptly at 5:33 PM, about the same time as every day, yet for once you weren't there.
Setting his briefcase down and removing his jacket, he walked through the living room into the kitchen, hearing your not-so-subtle whines of frustration, the scent of sweet fruit and grilled meat filling the air.
Married life is full of firsts, many of which were known to you and Nanami alike. Your first kiss being married, your first date being married, among other things. But what he didn't expect to focus on were the little ones he saw everyday. The first time you screwed up your daily routine, of course, and the first time he got to see you cooking his dinner in your cute little apron.
You quickly turned around hearing Nanami enter the kitchen. "Kento..!" you muttered, knife in hand chopping vegetables with great fervor. He chuckled softly, your knuckles had turned white from the grip, and carrots rolled off the cutting board.
He strolled over to the cabinet, pulling out a simple white apron, not before giving you a quick kiss on the cheek from behind you. "I see you've been quite busy today, my love," he put the apron over his head and tied it in the back, before turning towards your work.
His knees dug into your thighs, as he reached around your body and grabbed the knife from your hand. "How about I finish this for you?" he asked, already starting to chop away. "Aren't you tired from work? You can go sit down, darling," you tried to move away from him, though he gripped your stomach lightly with his other arm, pausing his work. "It's not tiring at all, standing here with you, my cute wife."
He put his head on top of yours, enjoying your warmth and the scent of food cooking, what you've been toiling away with for the past few hours. “I might not be as good of a cook as you, my love, but I think my knife skills are decent enough.” He continued, making quick work of the pile of vegetables. "Darling, the tarts are burning," you gently pushed him away, rushing over to the oven and pulling them out.
"I'm sorry I wasn't there to greet you. I'll make sure to be there tomorrow." you spoke softly, lifting the tarts onto the cooling rack. "I was wondering where my wife's face was. I see you've had quite the predicament in here," Nanami scraped all the vegetables in the pot, and covered it with water as instructed. It would still be about half an hour until done, being finished only 15 minutes late thanks to his help.
Nanami stared deeply as you joined him in the living room. Your fingers carefully undid the tie of your apron, as you started to take it off. "Have I ever told you how good you look in that?" He mentioned, standing up off the couch. You yelped, as he helped to pull it off your head. "...Thank you, darling. You look very dashing in one as well." You muttered, a subtle blush coating your cheeks.
"I look forward to seeing you wear it tomorrow, my love." He chuckled as he sat down at the dining table, ready for the dinner you prepared together.

Part 1: What then?
Some seemingly innocent, but truly mind-altering information is shared in a staff meeting.
Short fan fic. Low-key Sydcarmy/The Bear fluff. Post-season 2. Canon-compliant.
Location: The Bear
Time: 10:05 a.m.
The restaurant had closed lunch service on a Tuesday for a "Development Day". The Bear had been open for 5 months and had a 2 month wait list! After Family and Friends when they had all banded together the Bear crew had gotten tighter than ever. Carmen had been a outsider in his own restaurant for a couple weeks, but soon the dust settled. Even Sydney came around after 3 weeks of his patient groveling. The duo was good and soon The Bear had become one of Chicago Tribune's "Best New Restaurants." However, with success The Bear was changing fast. They had hired more full-time front and kitchen staff, which was great. The downside was that "respectful communication" and "customer complaint management" was waning a little. Things were not terrible, but Richie for whom Ever set the bar in hospitality, The Bear should always be improving, not sliding backwards. Natalie, Carmen and Sydney agreed. They also wanted to discuss new menu changes and a to-go system they would be testing soon.
"Okay, people! Let's get started" Natalie said beckoning everyone to take a seat at the front of house.
Richie stood next her "casually dressed" in a button down blue dress shirt and dark grey slacks.
He began, "As you know The Bear is on track to paying off the loan and we're the freakin' toast of the town right now, but this is not the time to take a nap. We gotta keep our eyes on the prize. So first, up facial regulation as known as RBF awareness."
Natalie tapped his shoulder and whispered, "Richie, I love your enthusiasm, but I thought we might start with an ice breaker?"
He shrugged and continued, "But Nat, has a ice breaker. Take it away".
Natalie resumed.
"So, first we want to thank each of you for being part of this dream and making it fun, rewarding, and successful. As you know The Bear is a family business and since there's new faces here we'd like to get to know you better and vice versa. We'll start with a quick round of "Best and Worst". Just pick a question out of the cup and answer it. Please keep your answers to 2 minutes."
The first question went to Randall, a young man in his early 20's with dark curly hair and thick glasses that frequently fogged in the humid kitchen. He was the new assistant pastry chef.
"What was the best place I ever lived? Hm…Guam. My dad, Army, was stationed on the base and I lived there from age 9-11. I had like 12 friends just on my block and we were always playing soccer, swimming, or riding our bikes. It was awesome."
"Thanks Randall!" Natalie chirped.
The next went to Tina.
"Ok…what is worst advice I've ever been given? Keep your head down and do what you know. That's the advice I used to give myself. Thankfully I didn't listen because now I'm a sous chef!"
Sydney who was sitting near the front between Gary and Carmy, beamed at Tina who returned the smile with a little moisture in her eyes.
The next question went to Marcus.
"Best moment in the last year? It was training at Noma, in Copenhagen. It was my first international trip. I got to stay in a houseboat, explore the city, meet cool people, and figure out that I wanted to do this maybe forever."
The last several months had been really hard due to Marcus's mom's passing. He had returned to work after a week of mourning citing that he knew she wouldn't want him to sit at home now that she was no longer sick. Despite that he was getting better every day and had come up with several new popular dessert specials. Tina was seated next to him and patted his arm.
The next few questions went to new dishwasher, Chris, Fak, and then Gary.
Sydney drew the next question and winced upon reading it. It wouldn't be possible to lie because Marcus already knew the truth.
"What was my best meal ever? Well…it was this pork confit with onions and rhubarb. Then after I had this dish called Milk and Honey."
She kept her eyes plastered on the tiny strip of paper while she spoke. In her peripheral field she could see Carm turning slightly towards her, his cornflower blue eyes boring two holes into the side of her head.
"Sounds grand. Ok, Carmy pick a question" Richie ordered wanting to get down to business by 10:30am.
Carmy didn't seem to hear him. He was on another planet.
"Yo cuz, pick a question!"
He startled and drew a question.
"Uh ok. Best part of my day? Hmmm. Closing up."
It was now Sydney's soul's turn to exit her body. Every night, with few exceptions, she and Carmy ended the night in his office to debrief on the day, perform last checks, and close together.
After a moment she felt his eyes still glancing at her. Without turning she whispered, "Later." The last thing she needed was to look at him, and forget how much time was passing, giving Richie yet another reason to tease them. Not long ago he gave them matching copies of a workplace relationship etiquette tip sheet stapled to an OSHA industrial hygiene handout before leaving them to close.
She sighed, trying to compose herself. It was no big deal. So what that Carm knew he was responsible for the best thing she ever ate? Also, they're partner-friends so it's totally normal that his favorite time of day when is they are together…alone. Right?
UH OH.

The Instagram Story
A summer transfer window filled with record fee signings and your name wasn't left out of the fun. The Euros shone a light on your every move, fans begged for a transfer- your transfer.
The rumours started to become much more. Y/N sightings in Manchester, cameos on WSL players Instagram stories, posts about the great time you were having abroad- The fire started to spread. Everyone was keeping their eyes peeled: Where were you going? Were you going to leave Spain? Was it all a dream? Were you out of reach for the WSL?
So many questions- all about to be answered with a simple Instagram story.
"Now add a bit of red😈" - An Instagram story by none other than Ona Batlle, one of the Manchester United stars. A picture showing Ona and Y/N out in a terrace in Manchester.
The fans went crazy, was it official? Was Y/N making her move to the WSL? Was she a Red Devil? - Questions that were soon answered. After days of avoiding questions, giving vague answers regarding transfer moves, Manchester United announced their new Star. Y/N Y/L/N.
Preseason was on the horizon. Players started to come in to their respective clubs, taking part in media days, having their pictures taken for the WSL. The Bright New Star Y/N's first pictures wearing the Manchester United badge. They surely were the most talked about topic for a week, at least before the first videos started to come out.
Ona Batlle, Lucia Garcia and Y/N Y/L/N's video was the first to hit the internet. Well, more like explode the internet. The in between banter, the looks, the chemistry. Right there and then, the Holy Spanish Trinity was born.
They hit preseason running the show, finding each other on the right side of the field, connecting beautiful plays, displaying what it meant to have differential players in a team. The Holy Spanish Trinity started to become undisputed players in the first XI. Becoming fan favourites as the season started in the best way possible- a 5 game winning streak.
Next up - Chelsea at home. A match that could decide the league further down the line. The hype was real. The team chemistry was at an all time high, the sensations all pointed to a win, oh and what a win it was.
The game started off with strong tackles, setting the pace for the rest of the match. Players like Cuthbert and James fighting for every ball, leaving no play to chance. 1-0 down at half time and the Red Devis looked defeated. Coming out of the dressing room, the shine in their eyes pointed to revenge.
Whatever pep talk was had during half time worked wonders. 5 minutes in and a play on the right side lead to a goal. 1-1, Lucia Garcia scoring a beautiful chip. Not long after and a class act from Toone made it 2-1. The team started to defend as an unit, isolating Chelsea's attacks and most importantly- foreshadowing all tactical changes Emma Hayes communicated to her team.
A one sided game. The result might not have shown it, but the 65% Red Devil's possession and the little to no Chelsea attacking chances demonstrated how good the United girls played after going 1-0 down at half time.
The Red Devils celebrated the game with chants, dances and hugs. Hugs all around.
Videos started circulating the internet. Videos of the celebrations. One of which showed how Ona jumped onto her fellow national compatriot Y/N's back, holding on for dear life. Y/N carried the defender to the dressing room, congratulating their teammates on the performance along the way. That's when the rumours started.
Weeks of teasing Ona followed, pretty much the whole team, even some phisios got in on the fun. Keeping it all on the down low, not letting the jokes ever be heard by you. One week, Lucia Garcia, who had been staying at your apartment, came into training with you. As both of you entered the dressing room, a silence struck, but being the silly goofy distracted self, you didn't even notice it. Rambling to Lucia about some random thing, loudly and laughing like the true outgoing spaniard that you were.
Ona shot you pleading eyes, almost as if she was begging to be saved by you. "Why are you puppy eyeing me?" you ask, curious as to what the dressing room had done to your friend.
Russo, who had been teasing Ona right before you got there put her arm over your shoulders, hugging you as she replied for the defender "We were asking where you go to after training" she joked, winking at the defender "You never join us" she added, pouting. "Want to come out with us for lunch?" Ona asked, changing the topic as quickly as possible.
Lucia joined the conversation "She can't" she smirked, nudging you with her hip "So, are you going to tell them?" she asked, clearly eager for you to share the news.
"It was meant to stay between us" you stated in Spanish, a language Ona knew all too well. "Keeping secrets now are we" Toone joined, she had recently picked up some Spanish, hanging out with Ona will do that to you.
"I might be going on a date after this" you reply "What do you think about the outfit Tooney?" giving the girls a spin, allowing them to appreciate your impeccable fashion choices. "I was wondering why you were all dolled up for training" Alessia stated, "You look amazing, like always" she continued hugging you as she sent Ona sympathetic eyes.
"So, who's the lucky guy?" Le Tissier asked, triggering the laughter of the locker room.
"You missed the memo" Alessia joked, it was a known fact that you were in fact, a raging homosexual. "Girlie, I'm not about to waste all this" you pointed at yourself, from head to toe "on a man" you finished.
"Aren't we full of ourselves" Lucia joked, "but in all fairness, the girl is hot" the attacker showed the group the Instagram account of your date.
Toone, who had caught Ona's sad expression sat next to her, whispering so nobody else could hear them "That girl has nothing on you" she hugged the defender, consoling her "Let's go to training shall we"

I ran my half marathon!! It was surprisingly great. I got a pretty good pr-- I took off a little more than 2 minutes from my previous best time, which is a lot for me!
I did not really have much of a plan for this one, other than feeling pretty good from my 10k in the fall and knowing I had done enough miles, especially since I had done a run the day before every long run, which adds up to a lot of time on your feet. I started around 8:50, and figured I'd just try to hold there, and I did! Some miles were down in the 8:30s, and one or two were in the high 8:50s, but I averaged 8:40 on my watch and 8:45 on the course (the watch clocked another .1 mile, which probably is right with weaving). And it was hard on my legs but not that hard cardio!! I felt really strong the whole time.
There is one section where you run down an enormous hill to the beach and then immediately back up the hill (about 100 feet of elevation and I did it in just under 2 minutes). People were FLYING by me down the hill-- I had to protect my knees and my mom bladder and kept it around 8:15-- and then I passed every one of them going back up the hill. I live at the top of a hill so I do have easy access to hill training. Carly Rae Jepsen's I want you in my room came on and I was just like, "Come on carly!!" over and over. It worked!
I also did a good job on nutrition-- I took a few sips of water (and rinsed my mouth out) at every water stop, and took a gel at mile 5 and had a date at mile 9ish. This is a very well-supported race, so you get water and gatorade every 1-2 miles and they also had Gu at mile 9. I
Anyway I finished really strong and had a lot of fun! It is a really surprisingly hilly race for chicago and all the strategy for the hills made it go very quickly. Idk what my next half marathon will be! I don't know that I want to spend every spring training for this thing!! My dad was like wow you're really set up now for a great half in the fall and I was like, fuck off! I was set up for a great half today! So anyway it was a great run and that was that. New PR at 1:54:40.
#somehow the faster I get the slower I feel#bc I am comparing myself to faster people#also my new age bracket is faster so I did “worse” this year than last year ranking wise#which is frustrating!#but I am just trying to be proud of my good time and for getting an undeniable PR

Sun. Moon. 2H. 5H. 🩷
💛💛💛!!!! <3 thank you, doll!!! :D!!
Sun - name 5 things you like about yourself?
I have an amazing imagination! I love how vast it is, and how easy it is to come up with ideas and whole new worlds, for that matter.
My intuition is strong, and has not led me wrong - and I am so thankful for that.
My strength. Not just physical, lmao, but I do like that! It's mostly the ability to laugh when shit hits the fan and keep going. To put my head down and work through stuff, or be the rock other people need, to help them through their emotions.
Kinda the same with imagination - I love my creativity. Whether it's working with my hands to make cosplay and prop stuff, or writing and just letting the ideas flow through me, I am immensely creative, and I love every minute of it. (I am also counting my openness and commitment to try new things in this bullet, too)
Kinda a new development, but I love my ability (which I have learned) to not care what other people think of me, and just do my own thing to make me happy, and be joyful about it!
I just have so much love for the person I've become, man.
Moon - do you suppress your feelings?
Depends if the situation initially calls for it! If I do, I put them to the side until I'm in a place that I can process and let them out. But, we don't bottle up emotions here, that just leads to an explosion later on.
2H - do you have any object that you like a little too much? What is it and why?
YES, my tarot cards! Lmao, I have a set that's very art nouveau (which is one of my favorite styles) with gilding on the faces and the edges that I love! It's the Ethereal Visions Tarot by Matt Hughes (the illuminated deck). It was my first tarot deck that I bought for myself, and I've used them for years; it's seen me through a lot.
There's also this one piece of jewelry, I think it's a broach? It belonged to my paternal great-grandmother, who was also into dream interpretation, astrology, and was a tarot reader - but it's just a simple black enamel heart, framed in gold, and I think it's beautiful. I don't wear broaches, but I might figure out how to put it on a chain so I can wear it.
(There it is!! ^^^)
There's also a necklace - so, I had a dream about a month ago that my mom had a gold necklace and it had an ankh on it, and in the dream she gave it to me. I told her about it the next morning, and she went: 'Oh, I actually have a necklace like that, one sec' and it turns out she had a gold necklace with a cartouche on it - that I had never seen before - that she was given almost 30 years ago. So, needless to say, now it's mine, lol!
5H - do you have a hobby? Which one(s)?
I love sewing, cosplaying - I feel like making the props for cosplay should be its own hobby ngl - playing ttrpgs and board games, playin viddy games, swimming, reading, baking, cooking, rping, gardening, language learning, and book binding.
And there's more I want to get into!! I want to learn how to knit or crochet, play the harp, larp, sculpt my own pottery, try making some of my own clothes, weight training, and home brewing my own mead! If nothing else I want to learn more about different culture's mythologies, too. I also want to try fossil hunting, but specifically for megalodon teeth.

A lot has happened. I had a housewarming party. Which was great. Everyone came right away at the beginning pretty much. Except my uncle and friend. It was a lot cleaning for it and getting last minute things done and doing ten appts that week. AND having one toilet not be working. My brother came and put up some hooks for me for my workout bands and purse and stuff. He noticed the toilet wobbled. I said yeah. He said "oh, I can try and fix that!" I was in the other room and I hear crack and then swearing. Not good. Went in and the base cracked by the bolt. The porcelain. Yeeeah. I'm very thankful I have 2. So I call a plumbing place and they wanted over $500 for the toilet itself. Went to Home Depot and got it way cheaper. Then got it the Mon after my party. They said oh they'll call and set up a time to install. Great. They call when I'm at training. Oh, we don't do toilets, we are a bathtub installment dept. Um... so get home and see on the paper it said "bathtub" at the top. Then at the bottom said toilet. Someone did not do their job. Or just didn't double check. So I call the store back and they send me to the right people this time. Oy. But the next time is Fri. So I had a toilet in a box in my dining room for a few days. When they came they took it off and the ring was busted/corroded. They went and got the part and I didn't have to pay since I already was paying a lot for them to put it in. I just wanted it done.
Finally get it done. About a couple of weeks later, I notice it making a knocking noise sometimes. I call again and they never called me back. But dad came over to look at it. It was hitting the wall. *sigh* I felt stupid. I'm glad I didn't have them come out and then tell me that. Heh But that's done. Then, I have to get a new printer since mine is from 2011 and couldn't find my network. Okay. Go get the printer. Go to connect it following the link. I get a chat person right away. Then they said they'd call me. Okay... so he called and I said I wanted to install the printer. He says for them to take over the comp so they can install the drivers. Okay. They find out that there was a trojan virus on my laptop. He asked how many devices use my network. I say 5. He shows me there were 24 logged on to my IP. And then a ton of stuff that should not have been there. This happened awhile ago with my old laptop. But the firewall was not as expensive. And you would think the Lifetime with Medicare (which I have) would be cheaper? Nope. So I got the 3 yr. So I got a toilet and firewall for myself for Christmas! Yay adulting! Lol
I had Thanksgiving at my place yesterday. It went well except that I didn't have a cork screw, since I don't drink. But we got it open. Then my knife drawer got stuck and it is still catching on something. So I have to figure out what that is. But it was fun. And now my house is clean. Heh I wasn't going to be someone to get my Christmas stuff up the day after, but I wanted to. I didn't have a ton but had some pillows from Target. Going to get more delivered next week. I have a tiny tree and it's like stuffed, kind of? Because cat. Heh I was looking for ways to cat proof your tree. Someone built a cage to go around it. Someone made a tree for their cats to look like one. But this is great because it's not a lot of work. I still get to decorate my parents' tree. It'll be weird this yr not waking up there, having to go there in the morning. But it'll be good. Hope everyone has a good holiday or whatever holiday you celebrate.

How to Start a Yoga Journal: A Simple Guide to Deepening Your Practice By Maa Shakti Yoga Bali – Your Trusted Yoga Teacher Training School in Bali
Yoga is much more than physical movement—it's a journey of personal growth, self-awareness, and mindfulness. One of the best ways to enhance this journey is by keeping a yoga journal. At Maa Shakti Yoga Bali, we encourage our students to journal, as it helps reflect on progress, track insights, and connect more deeply with both their physical and spiritual practice.
If you're wondering how to start a yoga journal, don’t worry! This guide will show you how simple and rewarding it can be to get started.
1. Pick a Journal That Inspires You
Your journal should be a space that invites you to write, reflect, and express yourself freely. Whether it's a beautifully designed notebook or a simple digital app, choose one that makes you feel excited to jot down your thoughts.
Tip: Keep your journal close—whether in your yoga space, next to your mat, or on your bedside table—so you can access it easily after each practice.
2. Set an Intention for Your Yoga Journal
Before putting pen to paper, take a moment to reflect on why you’re starting a yoga journal. What do you want to get out of it? Is it about deepening your self-awareness, tracking physical progress, or just making a record of your journey?
Some ideas to inspire you:
Self-reflection: Explore your thoughts, feelings, and emotional shifts after each practice.
Goal-setting: Write down specific yoga goals you want to achieve, such as mastering a particular asana or improving mindfulness.
Gratitude practice: Use your journal to express gratitude for your body, mind, and the ability to practice.
3. Create a Journaling Routine
Like yoga, journaling benefits from consistency. The best time to write is right after your practice, while the experience is still fresh. You can write for a few minutes or longer, depending on what feels right for you that day.
Tip: Link your journaling habit to your yoga routine—right after your session or meditation is a great time to reflect.
4. What Should You Write in Your Yoga Journal?
There’s no right or wrong when it comes to journaling. Your yoga journal is a space for you to freely express what’s happening both on and off the mat. Here are some ideas to guide you:
Reflections on Your Practice: How did today’s practice feel? Were there any poses that felt challenging, or moments of deep connection?
Tracking Progress: Keep track of physical progress (like flexibility or strength improvements) and mental breakthroughs (like improved focus or inner peace).
Insights & Emotions: Sometimes yoga brings up unexpected emotions or realizations. Journaling is the perfect place to process these insights.
Inspiration & Quotes: If a teacher or fellow yogi shared something inspiring, or if a particular lesson resonates with you, note it down for future reflection.
5. Track Your Asanas and Challenges
Over time, your yoga poses will evolve as your practice deepens. Use your journal to note which asanas you're working on and what adjustments or modifications you’re making.
For example:
What challenges are you facing in your practice?
Which poses are getting easier, and which still need work?
Tracking this regularly helps you see both the big and small wins along your yoga journey.
6. Reflect on Your Intentions
Periodically, revisit the intentions you set for your yoga practice. This allows you to realign with your goals and see how far you've come. Use your journal to explore questions like:
How have I grown since I started practicing yoga?
What are my new goals for the next phase of my journey?
Writing down these reflections helps you stay grounded and focused on your yoga path.
7. Gratitude and Affirmations
Incorporating gratitude into your yoga journal is a beautiful way to bring more positivity into your life. After each practice, take a moment to reflect on something you’re grateful for—whether it’s your body, the peace you found during meditation, or a breakthrough in a challenging pose.
Additionally, writing down affirmations can boost your confidence and mindfulness. Examples include:
“I am grounded and present.”
“I trust my body’s wisdom.”
Affirmations help reinforce the mental and emotional aspects of your yoga practice, fostering a deeper sense of self-love and awareness.
8. Be Honest and Compassionate with Yourself
Your yoga journal is a safe space for self-expression, so don’t be afraid to be vulnerable or honest. If a practice felt difficult or overwhelming, write about it without judgment. Embrace the ups and downs of your yoga journey with kindness toward yourself.
Remember: Yoga is about growth, not perfection. By journaling, you honor every part of your journey—no matter where you are today.
Starting a yoga journal is one of the simplest yet most powerful ways to deepen your practice. At Maa Shakti Yoga Bali, we encourage students to use journaling to gain insight, celebrate progress, and find clarity in both their physical practice and spiritual growth.
Your yoga journal will become a reflection of your evolving journey—capturing not just the poses but the personal insights, breakthroughs, and moments of peace that make yoga so transformative.
Are you ready to start your yoga journaling journey?
Namaste!

At 3:45, we finally got air conditioning. Tomorrow is one of those 12-hour days because we are in training from 8:00 to 4:00 and then from 5:30 to 6:30 it's me the teacher. But of course it never ends at 6:30 there's always parents that come in at the very last minute and we always end up staying late.
I made my debut with my lil rollie cart today. It is taking a little getting used to. But everyone says I move a lot faster with it.
So I'm really wishing I would have done it sooner. But I'm so glad I have it because Friday is convocation. That takes place at the high school. And there are no close parking spaces at the high school. Plus, there is a lot of walking involved.
You first meet for some kind of breakfast, which I usually don't do because I never have anyone to sit with, and I hate sitting by myself because I feel like I'm looking at me. And then you go to the vendor room where there's all these people giving out free stuff, hoping that you'll give them some business in return. Like there's every investment place you can imagine and insurance places and all the different banks and other places that are just they're handing out free stuff. So you walk through that Gauntlet, and then you have to go over to the auditorium and find a seat, and you're usually just like packed in like sardines because every school has its own section.
Needless to say, I'm going to be very happy to have my 3 wheeler with me. However, I cannot figure out how to make it collapse. My husband showed me once, but I tried the exact same thing that he showed me, and it will not collapse. Which is pretty much fine because it is so slender it does not take up that much room anyway but we will be in close quarters at the auditorium so I'm hoping somebody can show me how to collapse it before then.
Oh, and on top of everything else, I am at that age where if I move even the slightest way wrong it pulls or strains something in my back. This morning I bent over to feed the cats and when I came up something just Twisted in my back. I've had that happen so many times. So I was grateful to have that cart with me today because I was in so much pain trying to just move regularly.
Being gone two days or rather a day and a half for the colonoscopy really set me back. My room isn't even close to being ready for the first day of school which is on monday. I am not ready for the first day of school as far as having lessons and everything planned out. The first two and a half weeks one of the other teachers is going to do the lesson plans and the lessons then we will switch off. Thank God because as I have griped in this blog May has previous she never gets me the lessons on time and because of that it screws up my entire day. I will be very glad to be responsible for my own lessons when the time comes.
I made the mistake of sitting next to this person during our last training. She sat there and Drew the entire time which is fine, some people do that in order to concentrate. But when we were supposed to be discussing things she was still drawing and pretty much just ignored me. Or should ask me something and when I would answer it was clear she was not paying any attention. If it was hurt her to talk she just blurted out something that sounded like she had rehearsed it a million times. It did not sound like it was anything sincere. And then through the rest of the professional development she was playing on her phone.
Our previous department head was pretty tough, but she was also really great at handing out praise. I am appraised junkie because of growing up without parents with no one ever telling me good job, way to go, I love you, I'm proud of you I didn't get any of that growing up. And I know teaching is pretty thankless and I try my best to have a thick skin about it but sometimes when I go above and beyond what other teachers to do and do my best at everything, sometimes I really just need to hear that. And I get the feeling this new department head is not going to say that that often. Maybe she will, but I just get that feeling or that vibe from her. I have got to find some kind of online or telephone counseling that I can get into. I don't think I will be able to handle the stress of working all the time and doing so much work if I don't hear that I'm doing a good job.
The other two people in my apartment have lived in this town all their lives. Our department head started working at City Hall when she was 16 and she later married the police captain. So she knows everyone in the town. Wherever she goes she knows someone. Both of them go to the same church and both of them have kids. So I am the odd person out completely. So when they get together, I might as well not exist.
I have got to start giving myself more positive self-talk.
I was in some Workshop the other day, and it just dawned on me how horribly I think of myself. You always see those posts on here that say, " If you wouldn't say it to your best friend, don't say it to yourself."
I feel like everyone looks down on me and that I'm not liked at all that I am only tolerated and seeing myself as I think other people see me has caused me to have the most negative self-image when it comes to my job and my performance. I have got to find a way to either do some daily affirmations or something that will change that mindset for the better.

I mean, I'd hazard a guess at...running?
Seriously though, is it just me seeing this kind of stuff all over social media?!? I actually took the words above from an article today that made me laugh. Apparently some squat jumps and I am all good!
As a runner, it can be hard to differentiate the sense from the nonsense some days, and it doesn't help when we're targeted with such click bait-y headlines that are oh so tempting (and often sprinkled with a dose of shame too!). A quick fix? Something that everyone else is doing? Guaranteed results? Winner!
But more often than not it sees us jumping from pillar to post, chasing the next 'best thing' that we'd be insane to miss out on - because of the promise that it could be THE thing that makes us magical. And that can only set us up for chaotic and inconsistent training; panic as we view ourselves from a generic, external perspective (comparison is the thief of joy!); and frustration that nothing ever really works for us.
And it can be so hard to turn away from the flashy headlines that in almost all cases focus on marginal gains - because it's exciting and sexy to think about the little adjustments working some big, fancy miracle (especially if your training mates don't know about it yet - think of the bragging rights!). When the basic foundations of sleep/rest, food/fuel and training volume are, well....not that sexy, but so often neglected.
Yes, there is evidence that 5 minutes of hopping exercises daily could increase your pace, but does that even matter if you're not getting good quality sleep?
Strength training can improve your body's energy efficiency and power when running, but if you're not eating enough will you even see those strength gains in the first place?
The way I see it, these snippets of 'invaluable advice' can actually end up derailing us from our goals instead of helping us achieve them. I am a great believer in making things simpler and smarter instead of overcomplicating stuff. First off I'd say, turn your focus inwards and get to know yourself: What makes you tick? What are the optimum conditions for your body? What do you want to achieve?
If you want to try out something new just choose one thing to experiment with and give it some time. So often we throw in 10 new variables and then get confused and disheartened when we can't work out what actually worked and what didn't. Check your training plan - is it SMART? (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Timescale based) - basically is it realistic and is it relevant? Does it fit your lifestyle and can you (honestly) stick to it? I've come across clients who have even had running training plans that have consisted of little to no running at all - so I suppose I'd best add...are you running enough?
And, if its too overwhelming to navigate for yourself seek professionals who can help you, or refer you to someone who can! If you're after nutrition or training advice I'd highly recommend engaging with a good coach or qualified nutritionist. As for me, I help runners day-to-day with running aches and injuries using a wide range of treatments from sports massage and exercise therapy to trigger-point therapy and acupuncture.
I'll often listen to training plans and discuss how they're working for you. I like to help people understand how their body works, looking at strength and flexibility as well as working on parts of the runners body that are often overlooked, like our FEET! When was the last time you gave them some love, eh? And I'm also trained as a counsellor which helps me see the psychological side of things that are occurring for you too.

The Professor Part 5 by: Tater
Then we go to Andrea's room, and she pushes me on the bed, and she climbed on top of my face. She was grinding her pussy on my face I was licking her pussy as she started to moan. She then lifted up and turned around and 69 on top of me as she started to rub and like my pussy. It felt different then I got a big jolt though my body I started to moan into her pussy. We ate each other out for a while it felt amazing, I felt like I had several orgasms like I never had before when I was a man. Then Andrea fell off of me to the side we both lay there recovering from the multiple orgasms. Andrea gets up and opens up a black case set up like a closet. She reaches in and pulls out a strap on with an 8-inch medium thick dildo attached to it. Then put it on and got on the bed between my legs I was still on my back. I heard a humming noise she rubs the dildo on my pussy. It was vibrating I felt good, and I got immediately was turned on again and was getting pleasure from it. Then she stuck it in my pussy the was a little shock of pleasure and pain I was a virgin. I was a little painful as she pushed it in. Once she was all the way in, she stopped It was tight and still a little painful. I felt full down there and even though it was painful the vibrations were sending shocks of pleasure through my body. The pain started to subside and Andrea new exactly when it did. She pulled back and then shoved it back in. My body shocked then she started to get in rhythm fucking my pussy with the strap on, the movement along with the vibration felt so good and it didn't take long I was at the peak on a giant orgasm. I was seeing stars and colors my head was spinning I screamed with pleasure she once again gave me orgasm after orgasm. I was overwhelmed with pleasure and my pussy was gushing.
As she pulled out the dildo, she fell over beside me, and we cuddled together for a while. She said to me, "You Did good for your first time Jenny." That was the first time she since the experimental transition, which felt kind of good after all this time they were calling me subject 45. Then she said, "We need you to find you a man for the next time, if he is good at it then it will be a whole different experience for you."
After that we continued with my training of acting like a woman and reprogramming my brain. After several weeks I had almost forgotten about my old life and definitely could not see myself going back. Also, on top of my training Vixen gave me a job around the compound and the lab. She was working hard making sure she had the formulas correct and that for the next trial would go smoother and be less painful and faster. She was amazing with the way she worked and what she was doing. I was really loving my new life of being a woman. I had been a woman just about a month and it was great. Today I was going about my job of working around the compound and I was feeling funny, and I went back to the cabin for a minute to lay down. I went to the bathroom to pee and there was blood I cried and called Andrea she came to me immediately and handed me a tampon. She told me, "Oh yeah as a woman you get everything that comes with being a woman because you are completely a woman, Vixen was waiting for you to get your period to make sure your menstrual cycle was working correctly." And it was to well I was getting cramps and emotional it was a roller coaster of about 3 days.
After that was over Andrea and I planned a night to go out together. It was a Friday night and we got ready put on makeup and tight sexy dress we both looked hot. She had told me we both needed to bring home a guy tonight and I could get fucked if I would like and the other would be the next subject and the other would be held to be the next and to do some slave labor for Vixen. This was the ultimate test for me and being a woman. I really felt ready, and I was super nervous and excited to try to seduce a man. As soon as we were ready and our hair and make-up were perfect, we went to the large underground garage we had at the compound. Vixen had quite the amazing collection of cars. Tonight, we need to take something hot and sexy that could hold more than 2 people. And all the cars were all expensive and the newest or were beautiful classics. I had no Idea where Vixen got her money, but I didn't care I had an amazing life now. We decided on the Rolls-Royce Phantom oh it was a sexy car. we both got in and pulled out of the garage to go to the place we were going to find our men.
We arrive at the bar the same bar Andrea picked me up at a few months ago. We get there and we sit in the car for a few, and Andrea went over the plan with me again. So, we were on the same page for going taking them back. We checked our makeup and hair one last time to make sure we looked perfect. We get out of the car and make our way into the bar. We found a table kind of in the back, but we could still be seen by almost everyone in the bar. We had the waitress bring us some virgin drinks, so we did not get drunk. The waitress was the same girl that was always in there and that served us that light I met Andrea. She definitely could not recognize me now well no one could there was nothing left of the old jake just my mind that's about it. We were sitting there just waiting like bees to a flower. I even saw the group of guys I use to hang out with here. I was waiting for one of them that might be worried about me to approach Andrea and ask her questions about me. Well, it didn't take long and a couple of them did. Mike and Brandon came over and looked at Andrea and said, "Hey, Arnt you the chick our buddy jake was talking to a few months ago?" I didn't know what she was going to say but I was nervous. She replied, "Well yes I am we had a great time and I found out that night why yawl called him Big Jake, he left my house the next morning in a cab and has never called me back I just thought he didn't like me I would have gone out with him again." They both looked at each other and said, "We haven't seen him since that night or heard from him either." Well, we have talked to the cops, and they have some questions for you. She told them to let her know and she would talk to them. They looked at each other and then she said, "Well if yawl would like to have a seat and we could have a good time if they would like." They both looked scared and said we are going to get drinks and they went back over to the group of guys.
It was not to long later a couple of guys walked over and introduced themselves, "Hey ladies we haven't seen yawl in here before, I'm Greg and this is Josh." They said nervously and we looked at each other and I said, "Well hello boys nice to meet you I'm Jenny and this is Andrea." They both smiled and we asked them if they would like to have a seat. They did and we started having conversations and flirting and they were having drinks, and we were still drinking our virgin drinks. At one point got up and danced with Josh He was being a gentleman. But they were both getting drunk, and we asked if they wanted to take the party to our place. Then we all went out to our car they were amazed at the car, and this was all too familiar cause of what happened to me. Andrea drove and Greg sat in the front, and I sat in the back with Josh. Me and Josh got really hot in the back seat we were making out and groping each other I could believe I was with a man I was nervous but ready. He even had snuck his hand up my dress. I was really turned on. After that long ride we arrived at the compound, and we pulled into the driveway and Andrea drove us right up to our cottage. We all went in, and Andrea got some drink for a night cap. Gregs had something special in it and all the rest were normal. Andrea and Greg went and sat on the couch and Josh and I stood at the counter flirting and looking at each other and just before I suggested us go to my room, I heard Greg say. "Oh! I feel really tired."
Josh and I get to my room, and we just start getting hot and we are making out and he is kissing my neck. I could feel my pussy starting to get wet. I push him on the bed, and I undo his pants and pull them off. I pull his dick out and oh wow it was big and thick I didn't even think he would be this big. I start kissing the tip of his enormous cock and I started sucking it and it got hard and grew in my mouth it was huge at least ten inches and thick like a soda can. I made me really nervous. I sucked his cock hard and sloppy I could taste his precum. Then he tells me to lay on the bed and I took off my clothes and lay down he got on top of me and was sucking my huge tits it felt so good and he was grabbing my ass and my hips. Then he rubbed his monster cock on my pussy I was getting scared but wanted to feel it in me. He then breached my vagina I screamed in pain and pleasure and as he pushed it deeper in to me. I felt so full, and he started trusting in and out and harder and harder I was moaning and screaming and as it felt like it was destroying my insides, "oh fuck" I screamed it felt so good now. Then Josh pulled his dick out and told me to roll over and put me on my hands and knees. Then he shoved his huge cock in my pussy again, but the different angle felt so good. I was screaming and moaning and breathing hard, he was grabbing my hips and pulling himself in me shit it felt good. Then I felt my orgasm building and I felt my pussy gushing and squirting ohh ohh it felt good my whole body shaking and quivering and he pulled out and rest his cock head on my ass hole. Then he did the unthink able and started to push it in my ass. "AAAAAAAHHHHHH FUCK NO NO NO" It hurt so bad there was so much pain in felt like my ass hole was ripped apart. He just put the tip in and let the pain subside then pushed it in balls deep holy fuck. Then he started to fuck my ass hard oh my gosh it started to feel good, and I felt another orgasm cumming and I again gushed and squirted all over. Then he pulled out of my ass it felt so empty and hollow and gaping after he just raped my ass. Then Josh stuck it back in my pussy and fucked it some more then came and filled my pussy with his cum. He pulled out and his cum was oozing out of me oh shit. Then he stood there looking at me and told me to suck his cock, so I did all the tastes in my mouth of his cum and my pussy and ass. I was slurping hard on it, and I felt me start to tense up and he let out an, "Oh Fuck I'm going to cum again." Then my mouth filled up with cum and it was another huge load I swallowed as much as I could, but a lot came out the creases of my mouth I licked and slurped all of his cum then he had me stand up and me kissed me.
Then I asked him if he wanted some sports drink and he said, "Yes I would love some, holy shit you are good and have some tight holes." I smiled and let out a giggle and walked out to the kitchen. Andrea had him a special drink for me to give him. I turn around and there he is halfway dressed. I hand him the drink as he chugged it he looked over at Greg passe out on the couch. He said, "Wow you must have rocked his world for him to pass out like that. Then Andrea replied, "Yeah you can say something like that." Then I guided Josh over to the couch and told him he might want to have a seat as he looked really tired then sat down and immediately passed out cold. Then Andrea came over to me and asked, "You have fun? It sounded like you were." I replied, "Oh yes he is hung like a horse my pussy and ass will never be the same, it's a shame we are going to get rid of my amazing cock he had." She said, "Well you're in luck he is going to be a slave around here for a while, we are going to turn Greg first." Then she walked over and started taking Greg Clothes off as Vixen came in the door with a gurney and after he was naked Vixen said, "Well this will be easy look at his little peepee." It was only about an inch soft as we all laughed at him, they picked him up and put him on the gurney and rolled him out as Andrea was helping vixen she told me, "Get Josh undressed and put him in his slave uniform that in the bag on next to the couch." So, I went over and started taking off his pants cause that's all he had on as his huge cock flopped out, I smiled and just reminisced on how it just plowed into me just moments ago. Then I took the bag and pulled the things out. There was a cock cage and leather cuffs, leather garter belt, and a pink maid's outfit body suit that was a thong. I was not sure how I was going to get this all on him. So, I started with the cock cage, I got the steel ring around his balls and dick then I tried to fit the cage over his dick, but his dick was too big, but I stuffed it in and locked it. Then I put on the leather garter belt and wrist and ancle cuffs. By that time Andrea returned and helped me with the rest the outfit then we put him in a wheelchair and secured his cuffs to the chair. Then we rolled him over to Vixens lab and she had a cage right behind where Vixen had Greg on the stretcher and so he would be able to see everything happening to his friend.

The Great Pro-Wrestling Adventure Hour - 026 11/09/23 Defy TV 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM EST Filmed at the Good Time Theatre at Dorney Park in Allentown, Pennsylvania
SEGMENT ONE (EIGHT MINUTES):
- We are welcomed in by Sudu Upadhyay, but Raven can be heard at the commentary table talking to someone else on his headset. Sudu tried to power through, but finally had to ask Raven what he was doing. Raven said he's making a podcast appearance, and that he can't believe people will pay him to be a guest. Raven said he's actually doing seven podcast appearances at once, he's not sure which host is talking to him at any given moment but they all ask the same questions anyway. Raven turned his attention back to the podcasts and Sudu said what he can't believe is that anyone pays Raven to appear on The Great Pro-Wrestling Adventure Hour.
- The Great Pro-Wrestling Adventure Hour opening aired set to "Black Swan Lake" by Janko Nilovic.
Queen Aminata and Raychell Rose vs. Cassandra Golden and Mackenzie Morgan Queen Aminata and Raychell Rose defeated Cassandra Golden and Mackenzie Morgan with the spear from Rose on Golden. (3:34)
- Invictus Khash made his way to the commentary booth and asked for just a moment of time to thank Hyan and Kylie Paige for coming to his aid two weeks ago after he was kicked out of the TrustBusters Reserve. Invictus said he's not sure he deserved it after not standing up for Hyan when she was kicked out of the faction, but he appreciated them all the more for it. Hyan and Kylie made their way out, Hyan said that she and Kylie were there for each other when their so called partners turned their backs on them, and that teaming together has made them stronger. With that in mind, Kylie offered Khash the opportunity to team with them next week in a six-man tag match.
SEGMENT TWO (EIGHT MINUTES):
"The King of Jersey Shore" Zack Clayton vs. Baliyan Akki Zack Clayton defeated Baliyan Akki with a fisherman's buster. (3:11)
- At the CORE news desk, it was Daphne Oz with the COal REgion Roundup. - We are only two weeks away from CORE's debut in the historic coal town of Harlan, Kentucky on Thanksgiving night. That event will be followed by a TV taping in Cincinnati, Ohio at WCPO studios. Cincinnati is home to the corporate headquarters of Defy TV's parent company E.W. Scripps. - Daphne announced the first match for Thanksgiving Tussle '23 in Harlan. In a four-on-four elimination tag match, the team of Athena, her Minion In Training Billie Starkz, Queen Aminata, and Raychell Rose will meet the DIAMOND EGOIST faction from GLEAT represented by MICHIKO, Janai Kai, Risa Sera, and Aoi. - Daphne then sent us to a very special announcement.
- A pre-tape aired which opened with a close-up on Allie, formerly known as The Bunny. Allie announced that CORE management led by owner Dr. Mehmet Oz had purchased the SHIMMER Tag Team Championship. The camera pulled out to reveal the title belts on display. Allie said that as a former holder of the SHIMMER Tag Team Championship, it is her honor to announce an eight team tournament that will be taking place starting on the November 30th episode of The Great Pro-Wrestling Adventure Hour and concluding on Christmas night at the Wind Creek Event Center in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Allie said that there will be a special preview match for the tournament taking place on Thanksgiving in Harlan. In a four-on-four elimination match, Stephanie Vaquer and La Catalina will team with the Gatoh Move team of Chie Koishikawa and Sayaka. They will take on Blue Nation, Charli Evans and Jessica Troy, as they team with The Royal Aces, Jetta and Charlie Morgan. - We rejoin Daphne Oz who said she'll see us again next week for the COal REgion Roundup as we continue to announce teams for the SHIMMER Tag Team Championship tournament and matches for the Thanksgiving Tussle.
SEGMENT THREE (NINE MINUTES):
Giant Baba Yaga and Fuego Del Sol vs. Atomico Jr. and Epydemius Jr. Giant Baba Yaga and Fuego Del Sol defeated Atomico Jr. and Epydemius Jr. with a tornado DDT from Fuego on Epydemius. (5:12)
- Tim Bosby and Hunter Holdcraft made their way to the commentary booth. Bosby announced that they still haven't been able to get in touch with Shaw Mason, and again he didn't show up to the building. But they already signed a contract to wrestle this week and they will be honoring that, despite again being at a 2-on-3 disadvantage. Sudu Upadhyay said that they might not have heard from Shaw Mason, but that production had checked up on Shaw Mason earlier in the afternoon and just received a video reply. Sudu said he's not sure what is in it, but the production truck had just finished watching to make sure it was suitable for air and they are going to play it now. - The cell phone video was from a first person perspective with the camera pointed at two monitors in an otherwise dark room. The first monitor was playing back Shaw Mason's match against Tim Bosby in slow motion. The second monitor displayed Bosby's match against Tom Lawlor. Shaw Mason could be heard off screen, he said he was certain that after Bosby tackled him under the ring apron, he was hit in the side of the head by some foreign object. Mason was also convinced that Bosby did the same to Tom Lawlor. But Mason said he just can't prove it…yet. Mason is convinced that the evidence is somewhere in these tapes, and he's determined to find it, but that sometimes it feels like the closer he looks the less he sees. - We cut back to Bosby and Holdcraft for comments. Holdcraft is speechless, Bosby said he's very concerned about his friend; he sounds troubled and isolated and asks that Mason please reach out to them, but that they also have a match to focus on right now.
SEGMENT FOUR (NINE MINUTES):
folkstyle (Tim Bosby and Hunter Holdcraft) vs. Black Generation International (Action Jackson/Black Andromeda/Bendito) - Bosby and Holdcraft tried their best, but outnumbered they were soon overwhelmed by superior opponents to those they faced last week under similar circumstances. Black Generation International defeated folkstyle with the 450 Splash from Andromeda on Holdcraft. (5:02)
- Titus Alexander came to the ring to congratulate Black Generation International and get ready for his main event match against Charli Evans. But it was instead Starboy Charlie that came out next and made his way to the commentary booth. Starboy said that every week all they hear about is how badly Titus Alexander wants a rematch with Eddie Kingston to avenge his loss. But Starboy said that he is the one that beat Titus Alexander for the West Coast Pro championship, and yet Titus never mentions him at all in CORE. Titus was handed a microphone and replied that they do have an issue with each other in West Coast Pro, and they'll deal with that there. Titus said the reason he never talks about Starboy Charlie in CORE is because frankly, Charlie doesn't matter in CORE. Sure, he had some success beating up elderly men and their failed children, but if we're being honest Charlie has always just been Kerry Morton's flunkie in CORE. And now that Kerry brought around The Southern 6, Charlie is maybe fifth or sixth on the depth chart of Kerry's flunkies. A furious Starboy Charlie challenged Titus Alexander to a singles match next week, Alexander declined as he's leaving his schedule open so Eddie Kingston can accept his challenge after seeing what Titus is about to do to Charli Evans. So Starboy Charlie instead challenged Action Jackson, Black Andromeda, and Bendito to a six-man tag next week against Starboy, Marcus Mathers, and Alex Taylor.
SEGMENT FIVE (EIGHT MINUTES):
Titus Alexander vs. Charli Evans - Charli Evans showed heart, but Alexander gained the advantage early and dragged the match out to inflict more damage to his opponent. When referee Scarlette Donovan would threaten to stop the match, Alexander would place Charli's semiconscious body on top of his own in a pinfall attempt and kick out at two. With TV time running out and again no call from Kingston to his hotline, Alexander finally ended things with a Chaos Theory followed by a backdrop driver. Titus Alexander defeated Charli Evans with the Chaos Theory followed by a backdrop driver. (7:20)
SEGMENT SIX (THREE MINUTES):
- Promotional consideration paid for by the following: Stuffed Puffs: The perfect addition to any fall bonfire. Because the best s'mores start with milk chocolate filled marshmallows. Bruce's Yams: Have a sweet holiday. YAMRIGHT! Wooooo! Energy: Mushroom infused. Thanksgiving: The new feature film from visionary director Eli Roth. Rated R.
Next Week On The Great Pro-Wrestling Adventure Hour Starboy Charlie, Marcus Mathers, and Alex Taylor vs. Black Generation International (Action Jackson/Black Andromeda/Bendito) Also in action… Invictus Khash, Hyan, and Kylie Paige "The King Of Jersey Shore" Zack Clayton The Andersons (Brock Anderson and CW Anderson)

Berlin Training & Life Changes
I’ve been in the Denver airport now for 5 hours. My flight was suppose to take off on time. We waited for a few passengers who had delayed connections. Then we waited 45 minutes for their bags. We finally pull away from the airport and a light comes on in the cockpit. We deplaned, re-boarded a new plane and waited for all of the bags/cargo to be moved over. I have my fingers crossed that these will be the only travel hiccups I experienced in the next 48 hours because I am Berlin bound tomorrow!
To avoid an 8 or 9 month delay again I’m taking this time to recap my training for Berlin because a lot of life happened in these past 20 weeks. This spring I took my time coming back from that nagging knee pain/injury I had in the fall during my NYC build. After a number of weeks off and no change in pain I decided to say f it and power forward. I would be in SC for 2 months for a clinical so maybe the change of scenery would help. (Apparently it did because I’m happy to report I’ve been pain free for months) I started studying for my PT boards while in SC and felt instantly behind. Everyone’s advise was to stick to the school provided review book but I felt very under prepared. Worse, my final clinical at home wasn’t the best. It required 3, 15 hour days with a commute and clinic hours, plus another 7 hour day. It was tough to balance clinical, studying, and working part time. Our family had some personal stress occurring during this time as well that made free time very important to spend together. Heading into April I was stressed beyond my limits. To put a cherry on top, a week before my exam I found out someone has my SSN. The first week of May I was back in Slip for graduation week. Needless to say I sweat through a few shirts the days the results were predicted to come out and when they did, oh boy were there tears of joy. I think I laid on the floor for a solid 45 minutes catching my breath. I capped off the first week of May with graduation and had a dream job ready for me in Portland, OR. To add some spice to my life, I adopted a puppy. And not just any puppy, a baked potato, bread loaf, fluffy flipping CORGI who is so perfect he can’t be real.
Dream job in the one place I have been dreaming about living in for years, check.
Dream pup I had wanted since I went to grad school the first time, check.
Start training the week after graduation for my first international marathon, now loading.
I spent just about the first half of my build in NJ, with a 2 week stint in Colorado while I volunteered at the Oly Training Center. I decided to test myself this go around. After I broke 3 hours I struggled with what would be next. I’ve already achieved my overarching goal, let’s see what these legs could do. I had been training to run 6:50 pace for a long time. So you know what would be a good challenge, trying to run 6:40 pace. I would take old workouts and add a mile here or there. I didn’t want to overwhelm myself with mileage but I wanted to start trying more.
The most humbling workout was at the hand of altitude. I had 800s planned while in Colorado Springs. I’ve never done internals at altitude. The tempos I had done the week before went well but this was an entirely new monster. My first 200 meters would be perfect and every rep, like clock work, at 240 meters my legs would burn. I mean FIRE. And it wouldn’t just be in my legs, coming through the 400 my arms would burn. Never in my life have I experienced muscle burn in the water pistols I call arms. My times were not great. They were not bad. But I got my butt handed to me 8 times.
The first real test was the week I was set to move. The goat himself Craig-a-roo joined me for 2x5 mile at MP. With his perfect sherpa pacing we cruised through right on pace. It was exactly what I needed heading into the second half of my build. I spent 6.5 days on the road, with a 4 month old puppy. While on the road my first stop was in Slip for a wedding, which was a nice send off. I ran in a teeny tiny town south of Chicago, along the Iowa/Nebraska border, in Cheyenne Wyoming and Ogden Utah. Wyoming was my least favorite state to drive through, it’s what I imagine the bottom of the ocean to look like minus the water. Driving along the gorge separating Oregon and Washington on the final day was beautiful, with a quick stop by the Multnomah Falls. I was able to run each day but had to trash my workout. I had planned to do so the first morning in Portland. But when I set off I had found the hilly-est route in Beaverton. I scrapped it, made it a fartlek, and called it a recovery week. I swapped that workout a few weeks later and it went just fine. A week after the change, I crushed a workout on the track. I quickly considered myself back on track…pun intended.
Training Oregon has been a dream. There is ZERO humidity. Well, maybe there is a little but when I’m used to 90% and in the upper 70s-80s out, low humidity and 60s feels magical. With recommendations from my new boss, I found these beauty of a trail that is 22 miles long and mostly shaded by beautiful green PNW foliage. Along the Willamette is Sauvie Island, which is a runners paradise made famous by Shalane herself. It’s an island sandwiched between the 2 sides of Portland, filled with farms, no traffic lights, no disruptions, and flat as a pancake. Once my tempos got into the double digits I would head over the bridge to Sauvie as the sun would come up. Gosh have all of those miles been magical. I’ve been amazed at my legs ability to hit paces. The only workout I laced up the super shoes for was a 12 mile tempo that turned in a half marathon PB. I’ve closed workouts with volumes of 10+ miles with sub 6:10 miles. I’ve been excited to push myself in ways I haven’t felt before. Even my worst workout 2 weeks ago, I shrugged off because I know the effort didn’t hinder my prep. This new found ‘do what I can’ attitude is pretty nice.
Berlin is now 5 days away. Will I attempt to run 6:40s for the whole thing? No actually. I’ve found I’m pushing a bit too hard to sustain that pace for all 26.2. But 6:45-6:50 is doable. And that would still be a PB. Have I also accepted that I am traveling to a country I’ve never been to before and if life happens then okay. Just get to the finish line and get your fourth star. These past 4-5 months have held big life changes, all for the better. I’ve fallen deeper in love with marathon training. Life is happening and I’m here for it. But first, a quick pit stop in Jersey.

Who will take home this year’s title?
Kickoff happens each day at 8 a.m., sharp! Spectators are encouraged to don their teams’ colors and cheer on their favorite players in-person. Those unable to make the trek to tailgate in coastal Delaware can tune-in to a live stream broadcast of the event’s most anticipated moments via Dogfish Head’s YouTube channel. That’s right! During the only weekend of the football season with no live games, fans can get their fix with Dogfish Head and Tudor Games Electric Football World Championships.
To get in on the action, join the Electric Football Nation and start training for next year’s World Championships tournament. To set new off-centered players up for success, Dogfish Head is dropping a custom, beer-themed edition of Tudor Games’ iconic Electric Football game. Team 60 Minute IPA and team 90 Minute IPA go head-to-head on the vibrating battlefield, competing for the title of best continually hopped beer. More on where to purchase is coming soon! Stay tuned to www.dogfish.com.
“The epitome of off-centeredness, this partnership is very close to my heart,” said Dogfish Head Founder & Brewer, Sam Calagione. “Back when I first started brewing, I used a Tudor Electric Football game to MacGyver the first-ever continual hopping machine. That machine birthed one of Dogfish Head’s most well-known beers, 90 Minute Imperial IPA, and it now sits in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian Museum.”
Dogfish Head’s original continual hopping device was built from a pickle bucket, an Electric Football game from Tudor Games and a boatload of hop pellets. Picture this … Calagione drills holes around the base of a pickle bucket and duct tapes it to an Electric Football game. He then rigs the game at a 45-degree angle above his beer’s boil kettle. After adding hop pellets to the pickle bucket, he turns on the game and its vibrations allow the hop pellets to shimmy-shake their way through the holes in the pickle bucket, down the field and into the boiling beer for a touchdown. By adding small, consistent increments of hops to his brew throughout the entirety of its boil, Calagione created a pungently hoppy yet balanced beer.
Dogfish Head’s proprietary brewing method of continual hopping is still in use today, albeit on a much larger, more industrial-sized scale. It is responsible for two of the Dogfish Head’s best-selling beers, 90 Minute Imperial IPA and 60 Minute IPA, both of which can be found in the brewery’s NEW Continually Hopped Variety Pack. Rounding out the variety pack’s lineup are two exclusive brews, Shelter Pale Ale, a continually hopped version of Dogfish Head’s original pale ale, and Dogfish Head Un’Ora, an Italian pilsner continually hopped for one hour (or “un-ora”). Dogfish Head’s unique process of continual hopping gives each of these beers elegant and fragrant hop aromas and tastes, without making them overly bitter.
“Just like brewing, the art of Electric Football requires time, practice and technique to perfect,” said President of Tudor Games, Doug Strohm. “Many people think Electric Football is random and uncontrollable, but we know better. Through our partnership with Dogfish, we can introduce more people to the fun of coaching, collection and customizing Electric Football and expanding our great gaming community.”
To celebrate the Electric Football World Championships coming to coastal Delaware, Dogfish Head will host a weekend full of football festivities at its hospitality locations, including a myriad of exclusive beer releases at the brewery’s Milton Tasting Room & Kitchen and Rehoboth Beach brewpub. Click HERE for more on the weekend’s events. To learn more about Dogfish Head and Tudor Games, see www.dogfish.com and www.tudorgames.com, respectively.
