Tyler has arachnophobia and entomophobia. creepy crawlies are a HARD NO for Mr. Hernandez. Jackass bullies? No problem. Phantoms trying to eat him? Easy. Tree? Been there, done that. Fucking spiders? get it the FUCK away. mans has a visceral skin crawling reaction to even SEEING something creepy crawlie. it's one of the only things that makes him seriously panic other than yk someone being hurt

Ashlyn has autism yes this is basically canon i think. BUT Ashlyn has a lot of texture sensitivities both with clothes and with food. itchy scratchy clothes are a no. she cannot stand t-shirts keeping their tags they rub and scratch her neck and it makes her want to scream. she cuts the tags out before wearing anything. and food she can't have anything too squishy or tough or else she just loses her appetite entirely.

^^ to build on the clothing tags. everyone else in the group cuts the tags out of their jackets/hoodies and some shirts so if Ashlyn wants to borrow something she can be comfortable

Aiden is down bad for someone wearing his clothes. this can apply to any ship you want, i like him with Ashlyn Tyler or Logan (ive like never seen any talk abt Aidgan? Loden?) but regardless. whoever it is Aiden likes he gets so giddy butterflies giggly seeing someone wear his clothes. this is moreso for Ashlyn or maybe Logan because Ashlyn is so much smaller than Aiden that his sweatshirt would probably hang off her and Aiden would just abdjshfkefbns she's so cute!! this is mostly an Aidlyn hc for me but Logan would also be cute in anyone else's sweatshirt

uh if it's not clear by now im a multishipper ive said it before BUT i like Tyben a lot. they find calm and quiet in each other and bond through expressing themselves through something much healthier: music. i adore Tyben. AND because of Ben in the canvas webtoon: Tyler calls him ladybug. "Hey ladybug" "It's okay ladybug ive got you" "ladybug, you okay?"

kinda related to previous one but like blush hc. Ben does not blush. maybe a little pink on his cheeks. but his EARS. his ears get so RED when he's angry or when he's flustered. his face might be 😐 but you look at his ears and they're red you know he's flustered

ALSO everyone learned ASL for Ben so he didn't have to just use notes n stuff. Aiden was already learning but everyone else picked up on it

Logan likes compact spaces, they male him feel safe and secure. Like the tire! He feels very nice and snuggly in his tire. But also like. under beds. in closets (haha). one time they played hide and seek in Aiden's house and Logan won because he fell asleep curled up in an empty cabinet. Logan loves being little spoon because he just fits snugly in everyone's arms

it's been mentioned Tyler plays guitar, but i hc that he's also a really good artist. because he got into baseball for a scholarship he's kinda dropped both art and music, but in getting to know the others and especially Ben he gets back into playing music which leads to him drawing again. he doodles pictures of his friends and they realize what a good artist he is. that's how he realizes he actually has passion for creativity and decides he wants to be a tattoo artist.

Taylor likes mechanics (cus. the club) but she also knows some programming. this is solely because I think Taylor would like making little robots just for fun. Aiden would beg her to make him a little robot like that one companion toy robot Cosmo

in canvas sbg Logan brought a bunch of clothes for them to wear in the pictures/videos they took. so. Logan likes cosplay and renn faires. History is one of his favorite subjects (the other being science. english/literature is a very close third. he doesn't dislike math just isn't his favorite) so he has a lot of clothes from different time periods because of the renn faires he's been to.

This is a really unhinged headcanon and isn't something ive ever thought about before but thinking about Logan having outfits and stuff made me think who would be the most likely to be a furry. and no not Logan. it would be Aiden. hes rich enough to splurge on his fursuit. Aiden's favorite subject is history, he likes reading about wars but he also enjoys learning about other cultures and differences from how we live in modern day America. Aiden would probably study anthropology just for the fun of it. he and Logan bond over their love of history. Aiden can't remember what he had for lunch yesterday but he can tell you every little detail he knows about the Civil War start to finish, dates and names and locations and all.

this is a really weird hc but. Ashlyn is an amazing rapper. there was a karaoke night and one song someone did had a rap part coming up and they were like ahaha it's too fast for me and Ashlyn just stood up. took the mic. and fucking blew everyone's minds. and then she sat down like she didnt just rock their world

this last bit is self indulgent. assuming the phantom world things don't last forever, the kids get therapy eventually :D

Ben gets therapy for not just the phantom world things but everything beforehand. slowly and surely, starting with Aiden and Lily and maybe whichever person he's shipped with, he starts talking again. Some days are better than others, sometimes he gets quiet again, other times he goes for days talking as much as anyone (except aiden he yaps.) everyone almost cries when Ben is doing something and begins singing to himself because they realize he's better

• Sam takes his drumsticks with him everywhere. He has multiple and even a lucky pair

• Sams never been one for writing the songs but he tries to for Mika

• The boys started out at bars and small clubs and just where ever they could get a gig. They also done some shows for charity

• Harold discovered them and let them join his record company

• Mika wanted to be a singer but was supposed to take over her dad for the company and she "couldn't do both"

• Diana met up with Harold before about a job at his company but before papers could be finalised, he passed away

• Damien doesn't want to show his song as he's "still working on it" but if you were listening at the right time, you can hear him humming it, trying to work out a melody and lyrics

• Erik, Mika & Matthew are shower singers (both in the AU and cannon)

• The boys learned how to play Mikas favourite song as a surprise for her birthday

• Mika helps them out with Social Media management

Motionless in white history:

The band started in high school of 2005

Chris,Angelo,Frank p,Kyle white being the first members of the band. Later after college and the bands demo releases Josh joined the band. Frank moved to bass. Micheal and TJ join as guitarist. Later on micheal left the band and Chris met Ryan. Ryan then joined as guitarist of the band. Chris met Ricky in 2009. Frank left the band and Ricky was the new bassist for MIW.

MIW got more popular in 2009 when they tour around the state's in a van. Tj left the band a year later to join escape the fate (Ronnie radke of falling in reverse old band and bless the fall singer Craig band) Ricky then became the new rythmn guitarist of the band. Ghost (Devin) join as the bass player of the band. During the infamous album creation Angelo was feeling ill he couldn't play drums well anymore he gets tired easily and his drum skills wasn't good at all he was eating bad that it make him weak. He couldn't drum anymore so he left the band. The band had other drummers help record their albums. Brandon was the touring drummer for the band till the end of the reincarnated album. The band met vinny and he became the new drummer he was in the reincarnated music video playing drums but you can't see him much in the music video. Vinny then became a member of MIW not a tour drummer anymore but a actually member of MIW. Josh left the band around this time. In the graveyard shift era after the making of the album the whole band kicked ghost out of the band because the fans told the band what ghost did to fans which was very gross. The band kicked him out and Justin from ice nine kills join the band as bassist then he quit ice nine kills to be working full time for MIW. Disguise is the first album where the whole current members of the band created songs without other people doing it for them.

Chris history from high school to now:

Chris grew up in Pennsylvania. He met his friends who end up being the band members of the band he wanted to create he wasn't expecting to be the main singer. At a young age Chris started getting tattoos everywhere.

Chris cared about the band and just went for it.

Demos of the band was created. Chris is a perfectionist he wants the album to be perfect so he was judging everything in order to make a album he liked. Band members left but he didn't quit the band he try to find new band members and try to meet new bands. He worked hard for the band he carry the whole band and make sure the band was doing well. Chris thanks Ryan and Ricky for being the most loyal band members staying with him all these years and not leaving him. Chris had the fear of failing the band breaking up and Chris dreams crushing down but Chris didn't let that happen at all. And here we are today.

Ryan Sitkowski college to now:

Ryan dropped out of college to join MIW at age 17. He was new to the band and Josh didn't like him at all. Ryan was at a young age traveling all over the state with the band. Ryan haven't shared much of his life on the internet he kept it more private. Ryan got a girlfriend and then when the lockdown happen he started streaming on twitch to interact with fans and made a discord too.

Ricky Olson high school to now:

Ricky is the oldest of his siblings. When Ricky was young he was playing with his friends sports and something hit his tooth so half of Ricky teeth is fake. He mention he cry to his mom on the phone because of it. Ricky in middle school wanted to be in a band because his friends played instruments and he wanted to join them. Ricky in high school was a shy boy who had a few friends but they were mostly fake friends. Ricky Olson begin to play guitar and write stories because of the inspiration of Ville Valo from HIM. He became obsessed with HIM. Ricky was in a band in high school as the lead singer but was kicked out for sounding like Ville valo. One of Ricky dreams was to be in a band and also a film maker. In college he study film production. While also working in band merch booth selling band merch to people. But since Ricky was too shy he got yelled at for not speaking up and selling more. Ricky was in a bad time around 2008 and 2009. He share this in a blog years ago about this. He was in a lost place had a bad past and he was thinking of the past all the time and future worrying about failing the future he wanted to be in a band but he was so lost he had no idea what to do in his life. He would day dream about being in a band and then cry to sleep every night about his life. He had depression and gave up with everything in his life. He drank achoul every day. One day on his sister 16 birthday Ricky was drunk coming home from work to go to his parents house his sister was sleeping in her bed.

Tw// self harm and suicide attempt:

Ricky was laying in his sister's bed he cut his arm with a knife it was a lot Ricky was sobbing while watching the blood going down his arm to the floor his dad saw what happen and ask Ricky what happen. Ricky was sobbing and yelling he wanted to die many times. He passed out and went to the hospital he lost a lot of blood and the achoul level was really high he drank way too much. He almost died. He end up getting better and went to see a therapist. He went to see MIW with a friend. Ricky met Chris and the band thought Ricky was cool so he invited them to stay at his house. Chris text Ricky being like should join our band. Ricky would often say idk if I should he didn't know if he would be good enough for the band.

He later on join and quit college but Ricky mention still feeling depressed while in the band. Josh ballaz disliked Ricky when he joined too. 2 years later Ricky moved to rythmn guitarist but he wasn't used to playing guitar since he mostly did bass so he often made mistakes on guitar. He was still learning to play guitar. Things got better for Ricky. But his dream job was always filming he does some film stuff on tour and at home. Though he knew he probably won't be a film maker for movies like he dream of doing he makes whatever he can make. Ricky has stomach problems he often went to the doctor because of it.

Vinny Mauro childhood to now:

Vinny is one of the youngest children of his family. He has many siblings. Vinny mention on stream that he had a bad past. He mention that his dad would take achoul all the time and not give a fuck about vinny. Vinny mom would always go after Vinny. Vinny as a kid was a trouble maker he would disobey his parents and think it was funny. His mom would throw stuff at him and threaten him. His dad gave him a drum set so vinny end up learning to play drums he self taught himself to play drums. He listen to music and got into new types of music he likes all types of music. In middle school a girl that he liked asked him if he can play paramore on drums and vinny played it for her.

In high school vinny was a outcast and loner he made friends in his neighborhood but at school he had no friend. He didn't fit in with anyone. He mention in Ricky Olson podcast his high school life. Ricky ask him how he didn't find friends in high school. Vinny mention saying he didn't fit in with anyone he is also a shy person so he doesn't go up to new people. He was more a loner and was fine with it. Vinny went to uni to study computer programming but he didn't like it at all he was often bored he posted videos of him drumming on his YouTube channel. He knew a guy who knew MIW. MIW was looking for a drummer and they asked vinny to try out for drums in another country which was Australia. Vinny dropped out of college and told his parents what he was doing they weren't happy about that but he end up going over there trying out drums but he was very nervous. He met the band and then went to start drumming. Chris and Ricky were in the same room as vinny they were watching him play drums. Chris being very judgemental. He often scares Ricky when he's on guitar and Ricky fear to make a single mistake in front of Chris and vinny felt that fear. He even said I think I mess up a few times on drums. After he finish drumming. Ricky and Chris went to talk said not a single word and vinny was sweating so much thinking he made a mistake and he won't be part of the band. Later on Chris made vinny part of the band. Vinny became the tour member of the band then he became a member of MIW.

Years later vinny decided to interact more with fans since he had time to so he livestreams on twitch and has discord to interact with fans.

The lock down happen and vinny spend time interacting with fans. He lives with his friend in a house together. But something about vinny these few years mostly months to now that was starting to show. Vinny was suddenly showing signs of depression he often tweet depressing stuff but each year got worst for him. 2020 was the start of vinny's down fall. He had so much self hate he hated his hair,his body,his looks everything about himself he hate. He even tweeted saying I'm sad so I'm going to make a song. He release alone. Even he tweeted about something sad saying 2020 was a bad start for him and Ricky ask if he was ok and hoping vinny was just joking around. During December vinny had back pains because of a sneeze that hurt his nerves so vinny was in so much pain and he didn't see a doctor he thought he could fight it himself just taking pain meds to him. In Jan of 2021 the start of vinny down hill. He was in so much pain he couldn't leave his room or chair he couldn't even drum. He was very depressed. He hated life so much. A month later he got better and went back to streaming but still he was struggling there was some bad stuff happening anyway with him. The covid shot made him sick Saying he didnt eat anything for 4 days he felt like throwing up he even woke up in the middle of the night thinking he was going to do it and other stuff that made him depressed. Around April of this year small amount of fans notice something was going on with vinny he mention so much self hate about himself. In May he mention he was fine but a week later he said he was depressed and talking about what happen months ago and years ago. Sharing something about his family past and he stopped himself saying he doesn't want to get too into it. Vinny mention that he was eating food once a day because he felt like he is fat for over eating food all the time so he end up just eating dinner only everyday. He done it since the beginning of March and still is doing it. He wanted to loss weight. So he doesn't want breakfast and lunch but he eats dinner.

Around may vinny was in rock bottom he talk to no one at all even Ryan was 30 mins away from vinny and he ask him why he didn't go to see him and vinny said he didn't know why. Vinny mention saying he talked to no one for a week straight he also mention he isn't the kind of person to go up to people he said he's very introverted. he stopped streaming for weeks because he was doing bad. He said he felt burnt out and tired.

He took his break off social media for many weeks. Around this time many fans notice vinny was really not doing well.

Then he return to streaming around the 18th of June. Just to say hi he said he miss his fans but he plans to stream again a few weeks later. He mention that he have been avoiding all human contact and was staying in his room playing video games and drums all day still with the once a meal thing he does. Vinny said he's not depressed but people ask him about his depressing tweets and he said is it really depressing. Someone ask him why he is listening to sad music and he said am I not allowed to enjoy music. Now more fans are worried about him. Many more fans noticing that vinny isn't ok and he's hiding it.

That's basically all of MIW history I could give.

I will update and add more to the list later when something new happens. The vinny stuff is true I been watching his streams a lot and he mention those stuff so I just wanted to share what he said. I been a MIW fan for 8 months so I may not know Ryan and Justin as much as the others. Since they don't share much about themselves.

Sam and Jan’s Apartment - Nightmares are Reality Sims

So as of late, I’ve had a LOT of ideas brewing for yet another Bendy fic, and in some of my planning for it, I’ve built one of the locations in the Sims 4 to use as reference. It’s been busy at home, and I needed this to relax, so I’m glad I took the time to do that briefly. You may have seen my previous post about Nightmares are Reality, but if you haven’t, here’s the short version: Samantha Lorenzo from 2021 and Sammy Lawrence from 1946 wake up one morning with their bodies switched, and now both have to embrace the other’s friend group to not only find a way to get back, but also stop the inevitable fate of the studio staff as shown in the novel Dreams Come to Life. There’s angst, there’s fluff, and it get pretty rough, but there’s so much to play with for this story. 

Come with me, and let’s dive into Sam and Jan’s apartment!

So first, we gotta talk about Sam and Jan themselves. Samantha is the curly haired one, and Janet is the one in the hat (she wouldn’t be caught dead without one). Unfortunately the Sims does not allow me to change heights (and I don’t have a mod for it), but imagine for me if you will that Jan is significantly shorter than Sam. I did not have a ton in mind in the way of colors for them, but together their wardrobes have a LOT of red and black, with a little white and tan thrown in. I have Sam with the lifetime goal of being a successful author, which falls in line with her love of storytelling in modern media. Jan on the other hand is a songwriter and musician that’s still trying to find her path. The two met in college and graduated not too long ago, and now they’re both hunting for work (which Janet has part time when the fic begins). 

In addition to them, we have their cat, Figaro (named after the cat from Disney’s Pinnochio, Sam is a nerd like that).

Now, we move onto their apartment!

I chose the 1020 Alto Apartments lot for this, which came with the condition of the Romantic Fireplace that I can’t remove. But I added on Home Studio and Great Acoustics so they could bump up their skills a little easier. This is my first time playing with a lot challenge, and that is Spooky, which makes it so ghosts will come over now and again, which scares the crap out of both of them. And uh, funny story...

The ghost of Joey Drew was the third one to come, and he was VERY angry when Sam met him. X’’’D I did not see that coming, but now I kinda want to make more Bendy ghosts just to see if they pop in. Would you guys be into that? I mean Depths Henry is a ghost, so I probably SHOULD make him. 

At any rate, let’s look at the layout. Bear in mind, I am not phenomenal at building houses, much less apartments, but I think this worked out. 

It opens up into the kitchen, which is filled with all the essentials (these ladies are big on their caffeine). Currently I headcanon that Sam cooks while Jan cleans, but Jan is the better baker out of the two of them. Sam also likes to have fresh ingredients, and while I can’t do a window box on this lot, I can have some indoor vertical plants.

There isn’t much of a separation between living room and kitchen, but this is the living room! Some stuff is for playing with (since I actually play with my households now and then), like the dancefloor, but others are for actual use. They use a record player to listen to jazz and other music, and the furniture would be all mismatched like that (they were broke college kids, gotta sit on something, right? probably got it from a bunch of garage sales). The photo setup is something they use, but it belongs to their friend Vincent, which brings me to the first bedroom.

I haven’t made these two as Sims yet, but Sam and Jan have another duo living with them, Jess and Vincent, who are a couple. Jess is a makeup artist who often experiments on her friends, and she hopes to get into the makeup and wardrobe side of the cinematography scene. Vince on the other hand is a photography and film guy who’s an absolute sweetheart. Those two share this bedroom (Jess had more of a say in the decorating, Vince is pretty easygoing about the aesthetic). 

I had to make sure there was a special corner for Jess’ makeup stuff, she’d want space to move around. The mirror is also something she loves, and they all borrow it a lot. Why?

Because of this creepy room nextdoor! X’’’D So I just learned mannequins are a thing, and I can dress them however I want, so I put some in this pretty much functionless closet. (Though the two masculine ones have been glitching in a way that turns their heads a little at certain angles, and it creeps me out a LOT) This is the cosplay closet, which mostly Jess and Sam use, but all four of them have some numbers in here. These four are a cosplay group, mostly for Bendy, but for other fandoms too. Jess likes going as Twisted Alice (heavy special effects makeup, go figure), Vincent likes Henry and Joey (he likes scruffy nerds and suits), Janet dresses as Jack Fain (though she’s also done some gender bends of other characters), and Samantha (as I’m sure you’ve guessed by now) is right there as the Sammy for their group. If I can ever learn how to work with custom content, I would love to have a cosplay for each of them on these mannequins, but we’ll save that for later. These nerds are absolutely the types to play around with cosplay photos and tiktok videos, I’m sure they duet often. XD

We have some bathrooms, which are pretty self explanatory, but then we have Janet’s room. She is big on the posters and loves having her instruments right there and ready to play. She plays guitar and piano, but I may have her pick up violin down the line. Both of them have the geek trait and are prone to playing videogames more often than not, but Jan is mostly found playing her music. 

We have a small corner of the hallway for the cat. And then last but not least: Sam’s room.

This is Samantha’s creative space. Much like my space, when she’s working, it gets messy. She loves turning on some jazz while she writes, and while she’s crafting. I gave her and Jan the knitting supplies, since I don’t really know how else to simulate sewing for these characters, and they also have some clutter. Sam has one additional mannequin in her room, and she’s into figures, so there’s one of those on the desk. Her closet and bathroom are pretty simple, but that closet is gonna be really important when we get into the story, you’ll see why later.

As always, I have their Sims up on the gallery, along with the apartment, in case you want to play with them for yourself. Just note: because of how apartments work in this game, it’s uploaded as a room, so you’re going to have to fill some walls in and add doors if you want it to work like an apartment would (and you can totally turn it into a house if you want to, you don’t need to have 1020 Alto if you wanna use this). Just search for KatAlystDesigns in the Sims 4 gallery! I’ve also uploaded a few other houses recently, including the DCTL cast for my BATIM mermaid collection, and Buddy’s mother and grandpa. 

I had a LOT of fun putting this together last night, and it’s given me a much better idea of how I want to work with things for this narrative. Bear in mind, Sammy’s the one who’s gonna have to live here and put up with it, so having these details established is gonna help me to make the fic go smoother. I may tweak some things, like actually using upper cabinets in the kitchen (which I always seem to forget about), but we’ll see. XD Either way, this was a good exercise.

Birthday: May 30th, 2001 (Tropical Zodiac: Gemini, Chinese Zodiac: Snake)

Age: 19 Years

Gender: Female

Height: 5′5″

Eye Color: Gold

Hair Color: Jet Black

Skin Tone: (The photo above is a little too pale) Her skin tone is best describe as a light-medium, usually slightly tanned (from long hours spent in the sun working), beige with slight olive undertones

Pets: Two cats; one female orange tabby with amber eyes named Venus and one male black cat with green eyes named Titan. She also has a solid white female Blizzard Corn Snake (pictured above, she goes with Sam almost everywhere) that she named Astaroth.

Clothing style: Her favorite color is black, first of all. She has a weird sense of style, in all honesty. She doesn’t mind showing skin, as long as none of her cleavage is showing and as long as her butt is fully covered. She’ll wear shorts and crop tops as long as they meet the aforementioned requirements. She does prefer jeans, tank tops/t-shirts, typically steel-toed black combat boots, and her very prized black leather jacket. She loves leather in general though, so anything leather is bound to become part of her wardrobe, such as vests, jewelry, etc. She loves rings and necklaces, and tends to always have some type of choker on. Her favorite choker happens to be a gunmetal colored, medium-size linked chain that fits around her neck perfectly.

Piercings and tattoos: She’s only pierced on her ears, but those piercings climb up the outer side of her ears. Two piercings on the lobe, then 5 piercings spread out along her ear, going up into the cartilage at the top. As for tattoos, she has a black and white cat yin yang tattoo on the inside of her left arm, about 2 inches down from her wrist. On her back, she has a set tribal wings, the base of the wings sitting between her shoulder blades on either side of her spine with the actual wings stretching up to stop just below the top of her shoulders and coming to a stop at the middle of her back, the tips curling in towards each other. In between the two bases of the wings sits a simple trinity knot. On her right bicep, she has a Chinese stye dragon wrapped like a cuff, going all the way around her arm 3 times with the head at the top, pointing up towards her shoulder and the tail at the bottom, pointing down towards her elbow.

Body description: Coming in at 5′5″, she’s not really tall, nor is she specifically short by human standards. She’s on the slimmer side with some muscle definition in her biceps, thighs, calves, and, while not extremely sharp, you can see the six pack on her stomach. Her feminine assets are decent and fairly average, she doesn’t have many complaints there.

Likes: Rock/Metal music, drums, guitar, anime, video games, baking, belly dancing, tarot cards, working out, singing, chocolate, hugs, cats, snakes, pretty much all animals, cars, working on cars, medical stuff.

Dislikes: Most cleaning chores (Does them anyways though), yelling, fighting, being touched out of nowhere (like sneaking up on her and touching her, she will try and punch you), her parents, alcohol, drugs, typically kids but will put up with them, parties, large crowds of people.

Hobbies: Absolutely loves to work on cars and their engines, can and will tear engines down and rebuild them, playing guitar/drums, rescuing animals, loves learning about and has taken classes on medical stuff so she knows her basics of caring for wounds, and resuscitation.

Personality: Samyah is a fairly feisty person. She talks shit back to people and can be very sassy if she’s in the mood for it. Her mouth is that of a sailor’s, and it has and will get her into trouble if she’s not careful. She doesn’t hesitate to speak her mind or stand up for others if she feels it’s needed. She’s fairly easy going and loves to have fun. She also is fairly soft for those she cares about. She can tend to become somewhat motherly, checking in on her loved ones, bringing them food, just basically trying to take care of them in small ways. She’ll gladly give them advice if they ask for it. If one of them falls sick, she can and will take care of them until they feel better, borderline hovering. Let’s not even get into how much of a doting and fawning person she becomes when caring for animals. Despite all of this, there are times where she becomes very shy and soft spoken. Conversely, when angered, she can and will lash out at the people around her. She tends to need time to vent out her frustrations, usually through music, playing drums/guitar, or working out. Occasionally, she’ll sing her feelings out, but would be extremely embarrassed if someone heard her.

Other info?: She’s lactose intolerant.

The backstory:

Sam was thrown into, as she calls it, ‘the system’ at the fairly young age of 13, right after the death of her (scumbag) father and subsequent disappearance of her (deadbeat) mother. Basically, she was abandoned, so she was put into the adoption system. Her life passed her by like dark storm clouds that just kept failing to release rain. She wasn’t adopted because people always preferred smaller, younger babies. So, around the time she turned 15, she became a bit of a problem child. She skipped school, and when she was at school she got into fights with kids who bullied her. She did keep away from smoking, but dabbled in alcoholic drinks occasionally. However, it was around this time that most of her passions began to surface. She made few friends, but those few introduced her to the things that helped her start to straighten up. She learned how to play the drums and electric guitar, and turned to those instruments instead of taking her anger out in a fight. She ended up learning how to read tarot cards, and even learned the only style of dance she knows to this day; belly dancing. She found a passion for weight lifting and working out in general, and began to aspire to build her strength to protect herself and her small friend group. Heck, her friends even got her into anime, video games, and cosplaying. They became as thick as thieves during their high school years.

Living in the system was no joke though. Between girls meaner than she was, and guardians who were only in it for the money, her life wasn’t exactly great. She often got bullied into doing chores for the other girls, and this is where the other side of her personality made itself known. While she wanted to be and acted like this badass, headstrong, fearless girl at school, she lacked most of her bravado at ‘home’. The quieter, perhaps even shy, side of her surfaced. She put up with the bullying and just did as she was told. She learned how to cook and bake from this, and did end up developing a love for baking.

When she turned 16, she received news of her mother’s overdose. She was officially an orphan, with both of her parents now dead. She often felt like there might have been something wrong with her, because she wasn’t even upset about it. Her abusive childhood under their roof, paired with the rougher life of living in an adoption home plus her frequent fighting and bullying made her more numb emotionally. Or, that’s how she preferred to be around others. When alone, she often felt sad and empty, though as the months passed she became happier again through a lot of work. She’d never have to worry about her crazy mother coming to find her, so that was a plus.

Eventually, she turned 18 and was allowed to move into her own place. She immediately got a job and worked towards going to college. Between 16 and 18, she got her shit together and straightened up, putting herself to the task of passing high school and graduating. She took both automotive classes and medical classes in high school, and she adored them both and couldn’t pick which one to major in when she went to college. She planned on waiting to enter college when she had a fairly decent amount saved up from her job, but things happened. She turned 19, and as the fall began to approach, she suddenly found herself waking up surrounded by demons in a different realm. Oh boy, she wasn’t ready for it.

Okay, so this Au that I’m tentatively calling ‘Miraculous Trio’ was suggested by an ask. But here’s the basic concept.

All the Miraculous have the ability to purify the Akumas, so Fu doesn’t send out the Ladybug and Black Cat. Instead, he picks Alya, Nino, and Chloé to be the Fox, Turtle and Bee. Shenanigans ensue to the point where Marinette and Adrien are the stable background romance we get from Canon!DJWifi

I’m just gonna run through episodes and discuss what will be different. Some things will be repeats because a lot of my ‘Chloé is being better’ stories have similar plot threads.

Season 1

Origins Part 1:

Alya and Chloé are both 110% on board with being Superheroes.

Nino is a bit more hesitant, but does decide to do something since he can.

The three run into each other and pick names.

Chloé is already sort of doing the ‘redemption arc’ thing with this, by using Queen Bee as a fresh start to be nicer without backlash.

So while she’s still snarky, she pushes down her ruder comments and is more actively helpful.

They all save the day, but somehow all three of them forget to catch the Butterfly

Origins Part 2:

All three are pretty bummed out about their previous failure, but think ‘hey, even if I quit, the other two will still go out, right?’.

When Stoneheart attacks again, all three decide ‘no, I might not have gotten it right the first time, but I can do something so I will!’, and find hiding places to transform.

All three get that signature ‘Hawkmoth can suck a dick’ speech, vowing to protect the city.

The whole event inspires Marinette to stand up to Chloé in class, which makes Adrien go ‘Heart eyes motherfucker!. (Chloé’s grumpy about it, but will help him. Like all my AUs).

The Umbrella Scene™ happens the same, so Mari also has a crush on Adrien now.

Alya starts up a blog for the Heroes, both as a way to boost her career by pulling some Peter Parker shit, but also to gather information. I’m calling it ‘Miracublog’

She drags Nino into it, as he has a talent for video editing. This partnership starts a low-key romance.

I always have Chloé head the merch department. It’s fun.

Stormy Weather:

When Alya and Marinette take Manon to the park to see Adrien’s phototshoot, Mari and Adrien get stuck with Manon in the ice carousel while Alya’s like ‘I’ll go get help!’.

While the Trio fight Stormy Weather, Mari and Adrien have some bonding time. Adrien absolutely flirts with her, and Mari is a disaster, but she learns to chill(HA) around him much earlier.

The Bubbler

I was debating on if this would be different, as ‘The Heroes being Akumatized is Bad™’, since all three members are able to purify Akumas, it’s not as big of a problem.

Rena and Queen Bee are a little worried that Carapace doesn’t show up for the fight, but he makes up a lie of ‘oh I was on the other side of town and couldn’t get away in time’.

The Pharaoh

The book isn’t a factor.

All three end up at the museum, because there’s hints to other Miraculous there, not just the Ladybug.

Chloé dragged Adrien with her and he ends up as sacrifice instead. He still livestreams the thing because Alya and Nino had given him and Mari a connection to livestream directly to the Miracublog(a precaution to keep an eye on those two if they end up in trouble)

Lady Wifi

I honestly have no idea how this would go. Like I know I said any of the Trio could be Akumatized because it’s not as big a deal in this one but…

Since Alya is a Hero, she has a much healthier respect for Secret Identities, and wouldn’t be digging into it.

I’m just going to say that this one didn’t happen. Maybe something else could Akumatize her, but idk.

Timebreaker

Mostly the same in setup, but the fight goes differently:

Chloé is the one who does the self-sacrifce thing (because even though she’s still not the best person, she is much better of a person as a Hero, and has learned to consider Rena and Carapace her friends, and would die for them)

Rena and Carapace get sent back with Timebreaker.

Once they fix everything and Queen Bee is back, they both actually hug her and she’s kinda confused.

Rena and Carapcae give her the ‘don’t you ever fucking do that again!’ speech

QB kinda accidently confesses that she sees herself as a bit expendable. They don’t really /need/ her to defeat the villain of the day, and tbh they’re better people that she is in general

While they admit they don’t know anything about her Civilian life, they know Queen Bee. And Queen Bee is Exceptional and Irreplaceable.

She kinda cries a little but pretends she isn’t until she gets home.

Mr. Pigeon

Hey! No one’s allergic to feathers here!

Much like my other ‘Chloé is being nicer’ fics, she doesn’t outright try to steal Mari’s hat design.

Everything else is pretty the same.

Evillustrator

Chloé does kinda think about the stuff Marinette says about Sabrina, but it get’s pushed away for now because Akuma

Evillustrator still tries to get Mari on a date with him, and she uses that connection to the Miracublog to show the team where he is/what he’s doing.

The Trio all kina give him a ‘Bitch she ain’t into you!’ speech.

Evillustrator tries to go after Chloé again, and gets frustrated when she isn’t in her room

He asks the Team where they hid her, and Queen Bee’s just like ‘Bitch it’s not like she can’t just go shopping or down to the restaurant! Why does she have to be alone in her room right now? Fuck you!’

Nath thinks all the Heroes are cool, but doesn’t develop a crush.

Adrien, on the other hand, is a little jealous.

Rogercop

This happens because Trixx is like ‘I think I will cause problems on purpose! >:3c’

He steals Chloé’s bracelet and everything after happens.

When Queen Bee sees Rena have the bracelet later during the fight, she demands to know where she got it and learns about Trixx being a prankster.

Post-fight, she sets the record straight about the bracelet, telling Roger ‘it was stolen, and you would’ve found that out if you’d actually done your fucking job!’.

Copycat

Well, there is no ‘Chat’ to copy, so this would be different…

How about when Alya is helping Mari with the phone thing, she doesn’t skip out, thinking it’d be fine if Rena doesn’t make it to the statue unveiling.

Théo gets upset about that, and is a copy-fox? Kinda Volpina-ish.

Dark Cupid

These three are trying to get Mari and Adrien together, meanwhile Alya and Nino are trying to figure out their own love life because they’re trapped in their own version of the Lovesquare.

Chloé still rejects Kim. And while she isn’t as harsh, he’s still upset and Akumatized.

Queen Bee does get hit by Dark Cupid’s arrows, but her feelings toward everyone are so all over the place that it doesn’t entirely effect her. She’s extra rude to her teammates, but she’s able to pull together and still fight despite that.

Horrificator:

Like most AU versions of this I wrote, Chloé is more on board with the Adrienette ship, and this Akuma isn’t entirely her fault.

Darkblade

Without the responsibility of being a Hero, Marinette has no issue trying to be Class President!

Chloé is too busy with being a Hero to bother with any sort of blackmailing.

The Mime

Mari still accidentally erases a video Alya showed her, and she runs through the fight trying to track down the Heroes to remake the interview.

Alya is so touched that Mari would do that for her, and tries not to hug her on-site.

Kung Food

Pretty the same for my ‘Chloé is being nicer AUs’. Accidental sabotage instead of being a dick.

Gamer

Pretty the same, though Adrien invites Marinette to compete instead of her just jumping in. They get their cute not-a-date at her place.

No clue where the Heroes would get a giant robot though.

Animan

The Zoo Trip is plan ‘let’s set up Adrienette’. Though Adrien and Marinette think it’s a plan for them to set Alya and Nino up together.

Rena tosses Adrien and Marinette in the cage. One of them makes a joke about ‘oh, are all our dates going to be like this?’ and they kinda realize that yeah, they’ve kinda had a couple ‘dates’ that were ‘we are being attacked’, and end up talking and realizing the mutual pining and end up together.

Rena is also off her game during the fight since they are fighting her dad, though she can’t tell the others that.

Anti-Bug

The Vanisher part is mostly the same, though the fight was over something different as Chloé probably doesn’t dress up as herself for cosplay.

During the Vanisher fight, Chloé can’t get away to Transform, but she still tries to help.

However, due to Rena and Carapace’s knowledge of Chloé as a person, they’re very upset and hostile toward her.

Eventually Chloé snaps at them, because they trust Queen Bee, but not Chloé. And while she gets it, it hurts. Because she’s the same goddamn person.

And okay yeah we’re using this as the Reveal Episode again.

This would probably be the Queen Wasp episode, as we’ve already had a copycat Fox. Hawkmoth doesn’t catch on to the identity thing though.

After she’s de-Akumatized, everyone ends up having their reveal because Rena and Carapace try to explain why they didn’t trust ‘Chloé’. And like, she gets it. Because she knows how bad she was.

The three agree to still be a team, to trust her more, and to work together to help Chloé be better.

Also now that the Alya/Nino lovesquare is fixed, they start dating. Mostly as civilians though it does come through as Heroes.

Puppeteer

Pretty much the same, though either the Lady Wifi doll doesn’t exist, or it’s replaced with something else.

Reflekta

Again, like most ‘Chloé is being nicer’ fics, she’s less of a jerk here.

Well, she gets snarky about Reflekta’s design. But you know.

Adrien and Marinette are adorable, and Adrien doesn’t have to do the ‘uh.. I gotta take a shower!’ thing.

Instead, Nino is the one who’s like ‘Hey man, can I borrow your shower for a bit?’. Adrien is confused but doesn’t know if that’s weird or not.

Rena and Carapace quickly get frustrated trying to talk to Gabriel, but Queen Bee knows how to handle him and get him to stop being a fuck(Years of practice).

Volpina

So I know I kinda wrote this before but…. Tbh I’m retconning it a little bit.

Lila shows up and does the whole ‘I’m totally Bffs with the Hero Squad!’ thing.

Said Hero Squad immediately clocks her as a liar and ignores her.

Adrien still finds the book in his father’s safe and brings it specifically to show them

Much like how I always have Chloé figuring out Adrien is Chat Noir, Adrien has figured out Chloé is Queen Bee. Due to her sudden closeness to Alya and Nino, he figured them out too.

He slipped up while talking to Mari once and oops now she knows too!

So yeah he figures ‘show them the book’.

Lila still tries to get all cozy with Adrien, but everyone goes ‘he has a gf so get your hands off!’.

Mari is suspicious of Lila anyway, but no one brushes her off as ‘jealous’.

The Trio ask to borrow the book from Adrien, and he agrees as he also agrees to meet Lila in the park later.  

Originally I wrote Lila trying to do the ‘I’m totally Rena Rouge’ thing, but tbh she’d probably make up a Hero instead since we already had a copycat Fox.

Not sure which one she’d pick, but whatever. She still bought jewelry to try to trick Adrien.

You know what? I want Carapace to be the one to lose his cool here. Because Nino doesn’t get as much attention.

He wanted to keep an eye on what Lila was doing, and maybe take a chance to pull her aside and say ‘hey, maybe don’t try to paint a target on your face by telling anyone who will listen that you know the Heroes??’.

But when he hears everything she says to Adrien, he just snaps and calls her tf out.

Lila gets Akumatized into whatever Hero she made up while Carapace informs Rena and QB about what just happened.

They all fight Lilakuma, and this time she actually does kidnap Adrien to the top of the Eiffel tower.

Once she’s defeated, no one really apologizes. Carapace felt a little guilty for yelling at her like he did, but Rena and QB agree that it was necessary.

They all go visit the Guardian together.

Christmas Special

Adrien still sneaks out, though not with Magic.

No Heroes show up to kick Santa’s ass, so he’s Akumatized differently.

The big party still happens though.

Season 2

The Collector

Carapace might be having too much fun hitting Gabriel.

Chloé’s the one who takes the fall for having the book, because she’s the one who would most likely get forgiveness instead of annoyance. (You can pry Uncle Gabriel out of my cold dead hands!)

Like most ‘Chloé is being nicer anyway’ fics, the actual attempt goes better, but trying to encourage her though the threat of humiliation is not helping.

Prime Queen

The three have different reactions to the interviews

Carapace is the most awkward, but keeps his cool.

Rena tries to interview Nadja back by asking what it’s like being a reporter.

Queen Bee is used to interviews and playing the crowd.

Things go downhill when Nadja tries to get the romance angle. Everyone’s noticed the Rena/Carapace thing, but she goes further by attempting to spin it as a ‘love triangle’ by throwing QB in there somehow.

They shut that down and end up shutting down the interview altogether. Alya has a mini-crisis and is all ‘if I ever get like that when interviewing someone, please smack some sense into me!

Alya knows that fighting her little sisters will make her off her game, and there are so many copies and that whole ‘unbridled chaos of small children’, that the group decides that having Second Chance would be good, and they decide to give it to Marinette.

Chloé agrees, but argues for Adrien to be a teammate too.

Mari is hella nervous, but tbh once she has her mind set on something she can run circles around them. And with the power of Second Chance letting her know exactly how things go down? She’s unstoppable!

The Trio is in awe.

Also fuck you let her keep her Miraculous.

Gorizilla

We can take out the plot point of Gabriel suspecting that Adrien is a Hero, because he’s very obviously not in this AU. Carapace is the only male Hero, and even with the Magic Bullshit that lets a tiny mask hid their identities, it’s obvious he looks nothing like Adrien.

When Chloé starts to hit her breakdown and almost reveals her identity, both Adrien and Marinette tackle her and stop her, dragging her off under disguise of ‘yeah no I think we’re going over here!’

Chloé finds out that they both know, and while she’s annoyed that they figured her out, she is kinda grateful they kept her from fucking up.

They all have a talk and help Chloé begin to see how horrible her mom is and that she doesn’t need her approval.

No akumatization actually happens

Malediktator

So like my other fics that focus on this, Chloé’s dad is still attempting to fix this whole mess and he gets Akumatized.

This is when we bring in Dragon!Adrien because letting the boy go lightning is the best way to deal with this.

He also keeps his Miraculous because fuck you.

Catalyst

Pretty similar, though Lila doesn’t have her Volpina powers. Or maybe she does? Hawkmoth could totally make her an Illusionist this time even if he didn’t the first time.

Either way, a fake event of the Heroes being defeated that causes despair and all that. Everyone shows up to fight.

Some of the despair is negated by the Team linking into the Miracublog to assure people that it was fake and just the work of an Akuma

Mayura

No one gets taken down in the fight. Rena and Carapace have the battle couple dynamic down, so they wouldn’t get taken out by the other being hit. Hawkmoth doesn’t know Chloé’s identity, and Mari and Adrien are too sunshine-y to be Akumatized over this fight.

The rest of the battle is pretty much the same though.

Season 3:

 Backwarder

Like other rewrites of this episode, there isn’t any romance drama to cause the letter mixup, so the actual Akumatization happens differently.

Everything else is probably the same.

Weredad

God I don’t even know. ‘Chat Noir’ isn’t a thing, we don’t have identity drama. Maybe it’s a thing of Mari’s parents find her interacting with Dragon!Adrien and get a little protective because ‘back off she has a bf!’

I’m not sure.

Chameleon

The five all know Lila is a trick ass bitch.

some gave her the benefit of the doubt on her other lies, as she couldn’t possibly be lying about everything

But Alya and Nino are looking into things themselves and listening when Mari says things like “Jagged Stone has a crocodile, not a kitten’

Without Alya’s support, Lila’s sway over the class isn’t as strong, but the girl is good at manipulating the crowd.

She frames Mari’s issues as jealousy, of course. ‘Apologizing’ for what happened before because she ‘totally didn’t know Adrien was dating someone!’, and this is just Mari being a jerk over that.

She also frames Alya’s thing as jealousy over the Miracublog. Because ‘You might be the best news source, but you’re not the Hero’s BFFs like I am!’.

They do get to counter with what Lila did in the Volpina episode, lying about being a Hero to impress Adrien.

It’s kinda brushed off as ‘yeah that’s shitty but she’s sorry and it’s not like that means she’s lying about everything!’

Lila thinks she can win over Adrien and Alya, and they’re the most ‘useful’ to her. So she focuses on trying to ruin both Marinette and Nino, with an extra focus on breaking up Adrienette and DJWifi. She also thinks ruining Chloé will be easy due to her reputation.

She doesn’t do the one-on-one confrontation though, so no one really knows how much of a threat she is. The crew decides to just deal with her as time goes on.

Animaestro

I know I save the copyright violations plot for Lady Luck but I can’t resist! So yeah the movie team didn’t get the Heroes’ permission to make a movie and Chloé is giving the legal smackdown.

While Adrien was a voice in the movie, he didn’t play one of the Trio as he couldn’t really do any of them properly

He does end up voicing himself in a way though. Because the Movie Crew had to make up OCs to be the ‘Civilian Rena, Carapace, and QB’. Adrien voiced ‘Civilian QB’s brother’ who happened to be dating ‘civilian Rena’s best friend’, both of which were hinted at becoming the Dragon and Snake in the sequel that will never happen.

The Team is a little concerned with how close to home those OCs are.

Marinette and Kagami are friends so no sabotage!

Speaking of, Mari was invited as Adrien’s date instead of her helping her parents. Though she does still help a little.

Lila still does the kiss selfie thing and that pisses Adrien off for so many reasons.

Kagami isn’t jealous, it’s a ‘you’re making my friend uncomfortable and also he has a gf you absolute thot!’.

The Team all sees Lila’s dangerous side as she messes with the fight.

Side note: While Carapace was the one to call her out originally, she hates all the Heroes equally because Rena and QB supported him and called her out again.

Since no one know Chloé’s identity, this would probably get entirely rewritten.

Also if you want me to believe in Hawkmoth Akumatizing Adrien, you either need to show a lot more sanity slippage over time, or you need to have both Gabriel and Adrien be in a situation where they’re furious about something but can’t deal with it through normal means, so the Akuma is a way to try and help.

Felix

As much as I want to replace Canon!Felix with PV/Fanon!Felix, let’s keep Canon for now.

The setup is the same. Felix visits and decides to cause problems on purpose.

However, when he pretends to be Adrien, there’s two reasons why the main crew don’t believe it

First, is that they know Adrien really well, and he wouldn’t do that. Mari especially knows Adrien well and is pinpointing all the minor differences in how Felix acts.

The second, is that Felix isn’t wearing a fake Miraculous. He noticed Adrien’s new necklace, but as he didn’t have time to buy a fake he went without and figured it wasn’t that important.

But Mari, Nino, Alya and Chloé know that Adrien would never take it off because it’s a Miraculous.

So they manage to convince the friends that it must be a fake or something. But the trio ends up Akumatized anyway because ‘how dare someone try to trick us into hating Adrien!!’

Ladybug

Lila is still a fuck

She goes for ruining Mari, Nino and Chloé socially instead of getting any of them expelled(She’d do that after their reputation tanks). And she’s been working on this for a while.

She’d been subtle, making up things about them being jerks to her in private, and playing the victim whenever they call her out on her shit.

The class is hesitant to believe Mari and Nino could be that mean, but, well, Lila surely can’t be lying, right? And they have been hanging out with Chloé…

Of course they mostly believe Chloé would be mean, despite her recent strides in not being a dick.

Lila’s even been telling Alya and Adrien this stuff, pretending to be asking them to reign in their respective partner. Alya and Adrien don’t fall for it though, but don’t quite call her out on it.

Today was supposed to be a finishing blow, trying to convince the class that Marinette and Nino had been cheating on their respective partner with each other.

Alya and Adrien fight back because they know Lila’s a fuck

They ask Lila for specific dates, and Mari and Nino actually have an alibi for any time she says.

Either Mari was with Adrien, or Nino was with Alya, or there was a double date, or at least one of them was seen elsewhere.

They slam her with the whole thing and turn it around on her because bruh what the fuck

The classmates are on the fence. Because yeah, it doesn’t sound in-character for Marinette and Nino. But at the same time, would Lila really make up a lie about seeing them together?

It doesn’t ruin them completely, but it does damage their rep a little.

Hawkmoth tries to do the Scarlet Moth thing, but tbh between the fact that Mari is targeted(because he has an attachment to her in this AU) and Nathalie getting sick half-way through, he stops.

Not sure exactly what Mayura would make for a Sentimonster. There’s three main Heroes to choose from, plus the bonus Snake!Mari and Dragon!Adrien, so there isn’t one option to make a Sentimonster out of.

Either way it doesn’t work because of my favorite trope: “He calls me Riza when we’re alone!”.

30. What’s the most beautiful thing in life, In your opinion? Everything. There’s something beautiful in everything, if you look for it. Today, let’s say the feeling of sliding around on a hardwood floor in fluffy socks, dancing along to one of your favorite songs.

31. Opinion on the color pink? What about baby blue? As a kid, I hated pink. I like it now, though. Blue is my color, light blue especially (particularly with star patterns), so I’ve always liked it.

32. What instrumental sound is your favorite? Am I alloawed to say wind chimes? I’ve always thought they sounded super pretty.

33. Do you like the sound of wind? What about the sound of rain? I love them both.

34.Who makes you happy? My friends. All of them, in different ways, the people who are still in my life for various reasons. I love them.

35. What makes you happy? Light rain, strong wind, good music. My cat’s soft meow when I wake him up by accident. White peppermint hot chocolate. Fall colors, string lights, Halloween and winter holidays. Ice and snow and skating, dressing up for no apparent reason. The trick to it all is finding new things every day.

36. Imagine your ideal life, the life you wish to make, what will that look like? A house big enough for a family. A degree of some kind hanging on the wall. A life where I’m making things because that’s what I love, and I can try new things just for fun, where I don’t have to worry about money so much. The chance to get married someday, maybe.

37. Do you wear makeup? If so what’s your favorite type of makeup or specific makeup product? Favorite store to buy makeup? I do! Unless someone else is doing it for me, I generally keep to lipstick and eyeshadow. I’ve never been especially picky about what brands I use, but I usually go to Nyx because it’s on my usual route when I go on shopping trips, and I’m kind of attached now. Plus, nowhere else I’ve been in person has as many bold colours.

38. Do you wear dresses? If so what’s your favorite dress you own? I like wearing dresses. My favorite that I still have is a longer black dress, and it’s in serious need of either repair of retirement, but I got it for $20 as a cosplay outfit last year and it served its purpose. I wear it around still, sometimes, because it’s generally an easy fix.

39. Ever been heartbroken? How do you deal with it? Yeah, a few times. I vent to my friends, usually, and then I eat ice cream and listen to gnash for a while and eventually I start to feel better.

46. Most beautiful place you’ve been to? Prince Edward Island, hands down. It’s gorgeous.

47. Where/when do you truly feel at home? When there’s a light breeze, and the perfect song is playing, and the people I love are there. When we’re laughing with each other.

50. Can you walk in stilettos? Do you like them? God, no, I’ve tried. Any heel that’s too sharp or pointy or tall is a major problem for me. It’s part of what makes finding shoes such a pain.

52. How do you express love to those you care about? I try to tell them, but I’m also the type to engage in constant teasing. I’m the friend that punches you in the arm as a show of affection.

6- i dont have any stim toys, ive never really delved into that stuff, i was never really given the chance to explore stuff that would help me out with stimming and such. I also dont think i would like stim toys? Maybe i just have to try some but idk.

22- idk any specific songs i stim to. But ive stimmed while listening to mcr, and honestly i just stim to alot of the general songs i listen to. I really like singing along, i think thats a stim of mine, and some songs just listening to them is like stimming (anything with drums and/or guitars)

2- i like blankets a lot. Even if im hot and dont really need one, ill subconsciously grab the blanket on the couch and put it on my lap, and on my bed. There was one day i grabbed a pocket-sized beanie baby and put itin my hoodie pocket, and just knowing it was there made me happy. Also when i was with my friends one of them stuck their hands in my pocket and i panicked and like moved it out of their reach bc i was scared to get made fun of lol, it ended up being fine. I sleep with stuffed animals a lot. I think thats it

3- my school experiences were,,, not fun at all. Theres a lot to unpack there. My schools all had this thing called a “504 plan” or whatever. And it’s supposed to help people with certain disorders/disabilities. Mine only acknowledged my adhd as far as i know. Maybe my anxiety too. Some of the things that were supposed to ‘help’ were moving me to the front of the room, i got extended time to complete stuff (supposedly), extended time on certain tests (which i only saw on the act, literally i got no other extended time to do anything else. And after i got extended time on the act my scores shot up. Imagine the potential if i was given my actual extended time shit) and the meetings were hell. They started to have meetings with me in middle school, sixth grade i think. Having an administrator there, and my parents, and at least one teacher was terrifying to me. I think i cried every meeting. Honestly it felt like an interrogation to me, esp with all the damn eye contact and shit. My dad asked me if i wanted to continue it this year and i was immediately like fuck no nuh uh not happening. And whether or not I actually needed to be in the front of the room depended on the class, teacher, the people in there, but a lot of the time i would just be moved to the front and i would hate it. In eighth grade my math teacher moved me from the back of the room (a favorite seat in that class) to the front of the room in the middle of class for like a week. It was honestly humiliating and the only time i was eventually able to express my opinion on the 504 shit. Actually my freshman math teacher did that too. Ahaha moving on now before this gets too long.

4/5- three negative and positive things about being autistic.

Pros-

(1) i dont really have a chance to not have a hobby. Ive always got an interest to keep me entertained and i like that.

(2) stimming is nice, i like it, im not afraid to let myself stim. Makes me feel better.

(3) im unique and shit. I have a different pov than other people and that allows me to have different ways of thinking. I think outside the box ig. I also have this weird version of confidence and objectivity that I appreciate in myself

Cons-

(1) its hard to feel like i belong somewhere, bc im so different. Im getting better at it but im not good at getting close to people.

(2) i also like,, dont have certain permanence? Like object permanence? A lot of the time i dont really miss things/people unless im somewhere that reminds me of them. Idk if it’s negative really but its something,, even a spin, like bts, i dont really miss them that much until i do. Theyre still very important to me but yeah

(3) people dont really get me the same way other people get other people. And its hard for me to explain it to people. And theres certain people i get more than others. Its weird.

7- people need to give autistics a chance to be heard. Apply the accommodations you “give” them. Dont put them in the spotlight and give them space when needed. We are what you might call “picky” too. Eating, learning, socializing, we have our own things we need to be able to do shit. Learn them. Let us stim. Encourage us to learn about ourselves and remind us that youre there for us. But dont try to help us unless we ask or we actually need help. Dont trigger meltdowns on purpose, stop using the r word even in passing like its not a big deal. Be more than aware of us, accept us, appreciate us. Dont be a bystander.

8- i dont have much experience with meltdowns? I think? If i have i didnt have chances to recover. I had to go back to class or something. Idk how to recognize them in me either.

10- showering. Thats a big thing that even though i kinda need i forget to do. Except during school. I had a whole routine in the morning and i was super punctual. If i didnt shower i would be late, miss the bus, forget something.

12- meat. The way it feels. Disgusting. How do people eat it and not feel like dying? Same with lettuce. Spinach is fine but every time i try to eat lettuce I almost throw up. Bell peppers, pickles, vinegar, mayo, eggs usually, cheese sometimes. Just off the top of my head. One time i tried putting lettuce on my burger, was feeling adventurous, and after biting down i had to just take the lettuce off. Another time, my stepmom (newly married to my dad) made slads for us, and i was skeptical. There was white stuff all over the salad and she wouldnt tell me what it was. I tried eating a little carrot stick thing and almost vomited. Thats when she learned I cannot eat mayo. Even if idk that its mayo i still cant fuckin eat it. She forced me to eat bell peppers one time. Didnt go well at all. At all.

15- yes! I only do big stuff(?)(like yelling n shit) when im completely alone. Like if im home alone. Bc i get so loud. Sometimes ill hum in my room or sing to myself in my room though. Its so fun. As for phrases i repeat, ill repeat anything i find interesting. In a movie or song, or even something a friend said. One time my mom said the phrase “tough titty said the kitty but the milks still good” and i went around the kitchen repeating it until she got annoyed. Also sometimes something in the room will have a constant sound and ill like think a phrase to that sound repeatedly. Idk how to explain it lol. Idk if thats echolalia either

16- rocks. Typical i know, collecting rocks. But i just cant help it. I see a rock i like, i pick it up, take it home. I used to collect sticks. And when i was in elementary school, i used to pick shit up off the playground. Beer bottle caps was a favorite. Apparently the school called my mom about it bc they found my stash and thought it was from home and my parents were drinking excessively. 😬 oops

19- kinda depends. Idk. I really cant tell wow. I would probably say hypersensitive. Just cause i have a ton of sensory issues and a lot of stuff bothers me. Like types of clothes. And how things are resting on my body. Yeah i guess i am hypersensitive.

20- i used to struggle with self love a lot. And sometimes i still kinda do. But in the past few years ive really started appreciating myself and trying to learn a lot about myself. Its going well id say.

21- empathy. Hmm. I think im very empathetic, actually. I can always tell when someone is feeling uncomfortable in a situation. And when i should tell people to back off of them if they wont say it themselves. And im very uncomfortable when theres secondhand embarrassment. And bullying, in something im watching or reading. Yknow, I actually cant watch mean girls. I just. I tried, i had to walk away bc I couldn’t take it. It also kinda triggers me so theres that. Bc of the bullying. But yeah im very empathetic. Otherwise socially im not good at that.

23- nope. Ive got like no support system other than tumblr and online friends. Apparently my dad refused to acknowledge im autistic and hes my favorite parent. Thats his big flaw though. I'm planning on getting 3 more Piercings, I'm going to learn how to roller skate, I'm going to go to raves and concerts. I'm going to start eating better, get better at school, go for runs in the morning and night, join a martial arts club so I can learn how to fight and protect myself and others, I'm going to continue being my nerdy weird self because that's who I am, I'm going to still read fanfics and fan girl over fictional characters, I'm going to watch nerdy stuff and mindless children cartoon, I'm going to by fan merch, im going to learn how to use a light saber because why not, go to Cons and stuff, I'm going to start cosplaying and be myself. I'm going to learn more skills and different stuff, I'm going to get a job, become a gamer, teach myself how to play piano and guitar, I'm going to improve in my art and writing. I'm going to try and improve myself and my life starting this year 2020. 2019 didn't treat me too well, like the last few years have... But this year its gonna change, I'm going to better myself, one day and a time starting this year!!!! Visual Aid: 10 Years Later, Part 3

Hey, Hart fans! Ok, in Danny Phantom 10 Years Later, Part 1, we did the three main characters: Danny, Sam and Tucker. Danny Phantom 10 Years Later, Part 2, we did Jack, Maddie, Jazz, and Dani Fenton, the girl Danny Phantom. Now, Danny Phantom 10 Years Later, Part 3. It's time - you wanted it - here we go, into the Ghost Zone. Check it out.

Ok, everyone's been asking for this, you wanted to see this ghost ten years later, so I can't let you down. Here we go, it's The Box Ghost!

Box Ghost: Ha ha! I am The Box Ghost! You can not hold me within the confines of a cylindrical container!

Right, with Box Ghost, I'm just gonna draw him normal here. The Box Ghost is one of my favorite ghosts we've ever done on Danny Phantom. We had to open up the show with Danny chasing a ghost before we got to the main story, and I was like, Danny chases a ghost into a warehouse and so I was like, ok, what can we call this ghost? How 'bout we call him The Box Ghost, and he haunts boxes? And it became such a huge fan sensation, that we had to keep doing The Box Ghost over and over again. So, creating this guy was really a lot of fun. I figured - and again, we don't do dead guys or girls on Danny phantom. These are not the ghosts of dead people - he's just a box ghost. He's a ghost that likes boxes and dresses like the workers down on the docks. So, he's a ghost who likes to dress like the workers of the places that he hangs out. So that's who The Box Ghost is, and he's dressed like, you know, a dock worker. So this is The Box Ghost - this is his normal version.

Ok, now, let's take The Box Ghost and age him up a little bit. This is, um... You know, I figure with The Box Ghost, we gotta make him look more serious too - I think this is a more serious take on Danny Phantom as we move forward ten years later. So I'm just gonna, you know, make him look even more like a dock worker - just an aged guy who's been down by the salt water a lot more. He's been working really hard, he's got a beard now, there's some gray in his beard. His, um, outfit's a lot more realistic. We're gonna add more wrinkles. I'm - I'mma try, tryin' to do a little bit more of an actual comic book style for the Danny Phantom 10 Years Later series. We're gonna try to make it a little bit more serious looking. So this is The Box Ghost, you know, with some boxes hovering around him, as if he were ten years older.

Ok, so for another version of The Box Ghost, just for the heck of it, I had to do The Box Ghost as if he were, you know, I guess, taking his persona super literally, and, you know, making himself out of actual boxes. *laughs* So he was a - this I thought would be a lot of fun doing The Box Ghost as if he were an actual box ghost made of boxes, you know, squares and, um, in rectangles and stuff like that. 'Cause I think, would be kinda cool about this, I think his body could transform. We were gonna redo this show, The Bo- The Box Ghost would be able to transform his body and, and make it very cube like and just maybe able to expand it like a Transformer so he could turn into, like, you know, a tall box ghost or a small box ghost or just kind of shape his body like a robot. So this is The Box Ghost, made from actual boxes.

And here is another version of The Box Ghost. I thought this would be kind of cool, kind of a haunting picture where - because The Box Ghost is kind of a comedic ghost, he's very funny, and, um, you know, he's got kind of a silly, dopey personality. But I wanted to draw a version where he was really, you know, a lot more serious. As if he was coming out of the water. He's been in the water for years and years and now he has seaweed draped over his head and he, you know, is kind of coming out of a kelp bed and putting his hand toward you like he's going to put you in one of his boxes. What is, what it is in the boxes? And there's always boxes hovering around him with stuff. It'd be kind of a cool weapon he could have. He could always have boxes hovering around him, but there's stuff in the boxes. Like, what's in there? There could be weapons in the box, like old, ancient, you know, like, nautical weapons, like hooks and anchors and chains and things. One could have weird sea creatures in it. I think that'd be a very cool power for The Box Ghost is to have these boxes just loaded with crazy stuff. So this is The Box Ghost coming out of the -haunted- waters.

All right, now, the final version of The Box Ghost, what would he look like? I mean, I, I just thought, let's just keep him as serious as possible. Let's keep him as, uh... you know, I guess, I won't use the word "deadly" but just as, as, as menacing as possible. Like, this guy, this guy is serious ten years later. He's lost one hand, he's got a hook for a hand. He's uh, coming out of the water. He's covered in seaweed, you know. He's, he's sort of more menacing. There's probably a comedic side to him but I think the key word here is he's gotten a lot more serious about what boxes are all about. *laugh* And I think this would be a very cool version of The Box Ghost, ten years later.

Ok, done with The Box Ghost for now, you might see him again some time. We're going to move on to another one of your all-time favorite ghosts, I get endless requests about this ghost, and there's some amazing cosplay of this ghost out there - you should check it out, out there in the world, all the Comic Cons and stuff. This is your favorite ghost, you remember her name: Ember.

Ok, let's do the normal version of Ember first, let's draw a normal, regular version of Ember. And the great thing about Ember, we really wanted to have a music ghost in the show because Danny's a teenager, all of his friends are teenagers, teenagers love music, hence the music ghost, Ember. Had to have that. So, drawing Ember was a blast, and designing her was great. Putting the makeup on her face, making her outfit really cool, giving her a killer guitar, and this is really just the basic version of Ember that everybody loves. When we did Ember as a music ghost, we had to give her a killer song. I, I with my, my story editor at the time, we, uh, wrote this great, great song "Ember: You Will Remember My Name" and, um, we sat there, wrote it and didn't think it would really be that big of a deal. It was a song to go into the show, and the response to that song is so awesome, and I'm so thrilled you guys like it. I really wish Nickelodeon would release that song on some kind of an album or something, they never have. I don't know what their deal with with the *laugh* Danny Phantom, you think they'd take more advantage of it, but, uh, they don't. And they own the rights to it, but you guys think I should get the rights back, let me know in the comments section below. I think I should give that a shot, I bet they would want quite a pretty penny for Danny Phantom, but anyway, uh, Ember's a blast, and here she is in her normal version.

All right, so, I'm um, gonna age up Ember ten years, and I think, maybe the rock star life has taken its toll on Ember. I think, uh, all the touring, all the bad food, all the excess that a rock star goes through. I think Ember probably let herself go a little bit. It's just one version, calm down, might not be the final version. But, uh, I think Ember's kind of let herself go a little bit. She's still out there rocking, but as you get older it's harder for you to, you know, metabolize your food, you don't burn off things as well, you don't stay as thin as you used to. It's really, believe me - to look this amazing like I look - Ha ha ha! - um, it takes a lot of work *laugh* so, I think Ember has been hitting the guitar a lot but maybe not hitting the gym as much. And this design of Ember is very reflective of how we made her look in The Ultimate Enemy episode of Danny Phantom, where Danny goes into the ghost into the future and meet future Ember. So this is basically that same design, a little bit tweaked differently. But this is one possible Ember from ten years later.

Ok, here's another version that I really like. And when I'm sitting here, trying to come up with ideas for ghosts, how do you age up ghosts ten years later? Because they're ghosts. They don't really have to age. You don't have to age them up at all, but for this video, we're aging them up, of course. So I'm thinking, what could Ember have done to herself to make her look older. Well, what's, what happens to Ember? I think you would probably get very bored, uh, if you live forever as a ghost. So I think, in this version, she probably has learned how to play more instruments than the guitar. Like, she probably learned how to play all kinds of stuff, you know, the drums, a little percussion, and I think, maybe she needs more arms *laugh* so I thought I'd make her the ultimate one-woman band. She, uh, is basically playing the guitar, the tram, uh, the tambourine, the drums. Uh, if I had room in this drawing, she'd be playing the piano, probably playing the base, but I think Ember with a ton of arms. And just being able to be the band all by herself would be awesome and maybe I'll put another head on her - who knows? Here's another version of Ember, ten years later.

Ok, and one other cool version of Ember I really wanted to do, um, again as you're sitting here thinking, like, "How do you age up these characters? What can you make them do? What is different about them? Why would anybody want to see them ten years later?" And I thought, you know what? Ember has played so much music in her existence, she's played so many tunes, she written so many melodies, I think that doing that in the Ghost Zone, I think somehow in the Ghost Zone, your body sort of becomes what you are? And I figure she's music and I think in this version she just becomes music - she is music. And so, instead of using instruments, she can now just make music with her movement. She just moves and makes music. She, her hair can whip though the air and make a sound. She can move her arms and make sounds. I think just, her whole body instead of having a ghost tail turns into, like, uh, a music chart, and just follows her along in the Ghost Zone. You know, just hear sounds when she comes, you hear like music when she comes. Some of it could be deadly, some of it could be, you know, melodic, kind of hypnotic - hypnotize you into doing whatever he wants you to do. That's an extremely cool power to have. And I would love to see this version of Ember, ten years later. What do you think?

And, just for the heck of it, here is another version of Ember, but, and that I drew. Just aging her up, um, you know, the Danny Phantom characters have a very, uh, uh, distinct look. Either they have a real curve in their face or real sharp angles. I gave her a more comic book, realistic face in this version. I just wanted to see what she would look like as a real woman and uh, aging her up and kind of trying to make her look a little bit like the voice actress who played her, Tara Strong. And sort of giving her some of Tara's features, and so this is a version of Ember, just looking kind of human, very comic book-y. I think I could see this as a painting or this even looks like a cosplayer that I saw online. So here's Ember, another version, ten years later.

All right, so Ember. What do you do with Ember ten years later? What's the final version you can come up with? I think, what's really cool about this version, is I went a little more punk rock with her. I just, you know, shaved the sides of her head. I had her shave a Danny Phantom logo into the side of her head, you know Maybe, maybe it's even a tattoo. Just, I think she's obsessed with Danny Phantom. I think she's, you know, turned her guitar into a Danny Phantom logo as well, and just keeps rocking out, and just trying to either mess with Danny's - I think she might be secretly in love with him, but won't admit it. And *laugh* uh, uh, you know, just, Ember's got to remain dangerous. She's gotta remain edgy, and I think this version of Ember is super cool. And this is Ember, ten years later.

One of my other favorite ghosts from Danny Phantom's world, is the ghost hunter himself: Skulker. And Skulker is just a blast. Uh, just what he does - uh, hunting other ghosts to collect them is great. Cause it always makes him a nemesis, not just to humans, but to other ghosts as well. And I love his design, I love everything about him, and I'm just gonna draw his normal version here, the version that we all have seen over the years. But I just love this version of Skulker because he's just great. And, um, you know though, and I really dig the flaming hair, uh, the flaming beard just, the uh, the plasma that just streams out of his body and catches fire just because, you know. And then it's, it's his hunter's mane, as his hunter's, as you know, his hunters look. I love the fact that he, he kind of looks like and animal and a human and a ghost and I, I just dig Skulker a lot. So this is Skulker's normal version, let's see what he looks like ten years later.

Ok, now we're going to do Skulker ten years later, and the challenge is, again, he's a ghost, how do you age him up? But I think, for the purposes of this video, we have to age them up. So I'm just gonna, uh, do Skulker. Cause he strikes me - kind of his type of character - he strikes me as kind of a biker. Like, you know, he's uh, he's, I-I think this dude would totally ride a motorcycle. I think he even did in one episode, I can't remember. I think he might have ridden a motorcycle, but if not, we're gonna make him ride a motorcycle. So I think to start off, we'll just draw him very haggard from all the years of hunting. I think the years of hunting have taken a toll on him. I think his hair is shorter. I think his outfit gets a little more trim and slim. I think his body has become more, just like more ruff and more hewn, just really like, like more muscular, and I think he looks more human-like. We're gonna make him look more comic book-like for the Ten Years Later version, and so I just think just giving him some more ruff looking clothes, putting this cool chain in his hand. I think this looks really cool. Giving his face more of a skull-type of a look, um, is one definite way to go. So here's one version of Skulker ten years later.

Ok, now I'm just drawing with a Sharpie here, and this all kind of just coming out of my head as I go. I'm not really doing any rough sketches here, which if kind of a challenge for any artist. I encourage you to do that yourself. But, um, drawing Skulker from the top of my head, having never drawn this design before, I really thought, let's put him on a motorcycle. I really think it'd be cool to put him on a motorcycle because we're gonna stick with that biker theme. And, uh, I just sort of drawing him here, just making, again, like an old biker dude, you know, that got - still got the flaming hair, the flaming beard - but I think, man, he has just stripped it down and, uh, a lot of the bulky armor's gone. A lot of the chains are gone. I think he's just out there on this bike, I think this bike would have a ton of powers. I think it's powered by the same green plasma flame that powers him internally, and I think, um, just like Ghost Rider from the Marvel comics, I think the - I think Skulker would make a very cool compatriot or compadre for Ghost Rider. I think we're just gonna keep that Ghost Rider theme going with Skulker, and make him look as Ghost Rider as possible. So here's another version of Skulker, ten years later. And, again, I'm just drawing with a Sharpie, so this isn't as perfect as I want it to be. But, uh, hopefully, you guys can give me a break on this one.

Ok, and then just going for it here, taking the, um, again drawing with a Sharpie, just, this is just coming out of me head, no rough sketch at all. Another version of Skulker Ten Years Later is keeping him as skeletal as possible, losing a lot of his musculature and just taking it down to the bare skeleton underneath. Make him look a lot more fierce, a lot more evil, just a lot more enraged and just keeping it to that, you know, that enraged ghost-y biker sort of, uh, angry, much more serious version of Skulker. Here's another version ten years later.

All right now, Skulker. Again, I just see this dude as a biker. I see him as a Ghost Rider type of guy, who has just gotten more beat up as the years have gone by. Like he's lost an eye, his eye's sewn shut. Uh, I kind of think about hooks this time around. He's got, like, this hook for a weapon or whatever sharp thing he can find that will just, uh, stick into things. I think he grabbed a ghost by the hook. Hooks him, and drags him around the Ghost Zone with his bike. And I think his beard has grown out, and he's just looking tougher and meaner, and you don't want to mess with this version of Skulker ten years later.

Ok. Dark. Danny. Everybody loves Dark Danny. I love Dark Danny since we did the episode, The Ultimate Enemy, back in 2005, voiced by the great Eric Roberts. Uh, it's, uh, one possible future version of Danny Phantom, who's turned evil. So here's Dark Danny. I'm just gonna draw Dark Danny everybody, the way everybody remembers him. Um, just, uh, basically Danny Phantom if he had turned evil in the future. I love his design, I love his hair - the flaming hair, the ponytail, the, the Batman cape *laugh* the, uh, the D in the front. Just to me, it's a very killer character design, and just really reflective of how cool the show was eventually becoming, Danny Phantom. And, uh, I know it, Danny - Dark Danny gets a huge response in any Comic Con I go to, there's a lot of cosplay I see. And this is Dark Danny in his normal version. Now, let's see what he looks like ten years later.

Ok, the ultimate challenge for the ultimate enemy. What does Dark Danny look like ten years later? Like I said, he's a ghost, Ember's a ghost, they're all ghosts! They don't have to age if they don't want to! But, like I said, we have to age them up for this video. So I think, again, Dark Danny becomes even darker. He becomes an even darker version of himself. I think he's, because he's been trapped in the Fenton Thermos for years, for at least ten years. Let's just assume that, because he was trapped in the, the Fenton Thermos at the end of The Ultimate Enemy, so I think he's finally gotten out of the Fenton Thermos, but anyone being in that type of a confined space for that long will probably go kind of crazy, so I think Dark Danny has really kind of gone off the deep end and become the ultimate dark ghost. And so here's just one version of, uh, Dark Danny ten years later. Just becoming completely the embodiment of all that is dark in the Danny Phantom universe. I mean he almost looks like a shadow of his former self. So I think is is, like, maybe a -shadow- of Dark Danny and maybe, maybe he can split into many shadows, multiple shadows. Just like Johnny 13's Shadow character that follows him around. I think this Dark Danny has that shadow power times, you know, 200. So, this is a very formidable foe that Danny Phantom ten years later will have to deal with, at some point.

And here's a very cool version of Dark Danny that I really was excited to do. Once I started doing it, it got me really excited. I thought I had just seen the Infinity War trailer, *laugh* and I thought Thanos would make a great design for Dark Danny, so I kind of combined a little bit of Dark Danny with a little bit of Thanos. And, um, thought that would be great, just real bulky, real big, just the big chin, the angry eyes. Uh, Dark Danny has pupils, but this Dark Danny does not. He's got the white eyes which make them look even more deadly like Batman, or Deadpool! Maybe, maybe Batman. So, anyway, um, just mixing Thanos with Dark Danny was a lot of fun. I think it makes it look a lot more scary and I think Danny Phantom ten years later would have his hands full with this version of Dark Danny, ten years later.

And one more fun version of Dark Danny, because he's been trapped in the Fenton Thermos for so long, I think instead of breaking out of the Fenton Thermos, I think, in order to get out of the Fenton Thermos, he merged with the Fenton Thermos, and sort of merged his body into his ghost plasma form and then into a Fenton Thermos mechanical form. So I think this version of Dark Danny is kind of Cyborg from Justice League where he's part machine, part ghost, part electronic, part, you know, plasma. Almost like a Technus version of Dark Danny. This is Dark Danny, merged with the Fenton Thermos, electronic plasma power to the max.

Now, Dark Danny, there's a lot of options here, like I said earlier, and I'm just gonna go way dark with him. I think by this time, he's been trapped in the Fenton Thermos for ten years, he just went a little insane. I think he lost his pupils in his eyes. *laugh* You know the white eyes always make someone look a little more, uh, menacing, or you know, just, uh, dark. I think he's uh, gone all black with the theme in his costume. The white gloves, the white face, sort of like the Joker, almost. And this dude has gone full on evil. He is an evil being, and I think Danny Phantom ten years later will have his hands full with Dark Danny ten years later.

All right guys, Danny Phantom, Ten Years Later, Part Three. Did you guys enjoy that?

I'm hoping to one day have a table at a con so I was wondering - what's it like when you do - do you get a lot of traffic, is it hard, is it more or less exciting than imagined - and what prepwork would you suggest (aside from the obvious: have stuff to sell)?

ive only been tabling for 3 years so im also working out what to do and what not do but ill do my best to help out!!

on traffic it really depends on a) where your table is b) the time of day and c) the day. i got situated just in front of a door the first year and that means a lot of people going by. the place tends to empty out whenever an event (eg cosplay comp) is on, so theres less traffic then, and more people show up on saturday than sunday (though i dont think this is necessarily tru anymore??? we got a lot of normies [for lack of better word lm ao] coming in on the sunday, im suspecting they were just walk ins and that by sunday most people kno smth is going on at the center so they can decide to pop in. this year there were those flight issues tho so maybe thats why sat was relatively empty)

i dont think that it is hard so much as it feels hard? especially ur first go around, therell be a lot of things u didnt expect and u will feel like u were ill prepared (eg theres no good way to get posters on weird fuzzy fascia board, ran out of change, nothing to roll up posters with, everything is a total mess under the table, accidentally ripping prints, ur stuff wasnt tacked down so a gust of wind blows everything......) but i think its to be expected!! its a learning experience and can be pretty fun in and of itself. tho ive also only shared tables, and that can definitely help out

umm im not the best person to ask about excitement levels tho lmao..,,,, personally im on high alert the whole time jic someone wants to buy something so theres not really any time to get bored. talking w ur tablemate is fun, i brought a guitar this year so there was that too (p fun to see ppl recognise songs =P) AND!!! the best part is seeing cosplayers tbh??? its great omg. also seeing people flip out over ur stuff, i think its p exciting but i guess it rly depends on the person?

PREPWORK:

FOOD

con food is super overpriced and ur sitting down for hours on end!!!!!! bring FOOD

write down expenses on production so u kno when ur breaking even

this one isnt necessarily prepwork but when ur actually tabling note down whats selling so 1) u kno how much money u got and 2) u kno which prints are selling! theyre a p reliable indicator of whats popular at the time 

TRY to print stuff early. arnd here everyone prints at the same place so about a week or two out from the con the place is all backed up

figure out how ur gonna carry all ur stuff in conjunction w how ur gonna get there

think of ur table layout? im not gr9 at displays etc so im still working on this, but its always a good idea to know how to arrange stuff as it does affect visibility and consequently potential purchases

familiarise urself w the con regulations ie when to show up n get ur ticket/lanyard and if u can try and make bump in times the day before. ur morning self will thank u especially if ur cosplaying

i dont have a lot of advice by the way of prepwork orz mostly bc it involves me throwing myself out of the house in a rush and arriving a whole hour late BUT thats what i got!!

Movie review: Star Wars Episode IX brings an epic, emotional end to the Skywalker saga

I love “The Last Jedi.” In fact, it’s my favorite Star Wars film. Even two years later, I still enjoy talking about it, although I do have to admit, the Star Wars fandom has made me feel a little…well…weary.

Due to the realities of online fandom culture, it’s tough to tell just how divisive “The Last Jedi” was, whether it was actually a 50/50 split of like/dislike or what more casual fans like the general public really thought of it.

Needless to say, it generated a lot of debates within the fandom, and those fans were not always nice about it. It has always seemed weird to me how other fans have gone out of their way to be mean, rude, and/or condescending to people just for liking a Star Wars movie. Like Luke Skywalker in “The Last Jedi,” sometimes I just want to run away to an island populated solely by Porgs and hide from the fandom.

I had hopes that maybe “The Rise of Skywalker” would be a break for the Star Wars fan community, giving us something new to talk about and maybe quieting some of the debates. But alas, I should have heeded Luke’s warning from “The Last Jedi”: “This is not going to go the way you think.”

Log onto Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, or any other social media platform, and you’ll see an ongoing debate about this film. Even Rotten Tomatoes is divided amongst fans and critics:

It’s really tough to review this film without spoilers, especially since the controversial stuff is very spoiler-heavy. So before I dive into my VERY spoiler-filled thoughts, here’s my one sentence review:

Go see this movie.

There’s a lot of chatter online — some positive, some negative. My advice is to just go see it, and form your own opinion. Any time you have a movie in a franchise with a fanbase that is this passionate, it is really tough to produce a movie that pleases everyone.

“The Rise of Skywalker” definitely needs to be seen on a big screen, and it will no doubt be inspiring lots of conversations for many years to come.

Warning: MAJOR SPOILERS ahead

So yes, “The Rise of Skywalker” has some flaws. Yes, there is some stuff I would have changed. But darn it, I just love this movie so much. It felt like a great ending to the saga to me — bittersweet but full of hope for the future. I loved it even more the second time I saw it, and I’ve already got plans to see it again!

The movie starts off rather abruptly; instead of easing us into the narrative, they drop us right into the story. Kylo Ren is off to confront the undead Emperor Palpatine, as the Resistance scrambles to face this new threat.

I kinda wished they’d saved the Palpatine reveal till later in the film, because it makes the first few minutes of TROS a little jarring. However, I will say that some of the early pacing issues, which bothered me on first viewing, did not bother me as much the second time. It was nice knowing what to expect, so I could just relax and enjoy what was happening on screen.

“The Last Jedi” was a more introspective, character-focused film that dived pretty deep into larger issues about the Jedi and the Force, while “The Rise of Skywalker” is more of a fast-paced adventure about chasing an artifact across the galaxy (it actually reminded me of Indiana Jones in some ways).

Now, I happen to enjoy both these styles of movies, but based on your own personal tastes, you might like TROS more or less than TLJ.

I really loved seeing Rey, Finn, Poe, Chewie, and the droids go on an adventure together. Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, and Oscar Isaac have such great chemistry, and it was really fun to see their dynamic.

Rey is one of my favorite Star Wars characters, and I have way too many cosplays for this character (I finished my Dark Rey costume in time to wear it to the theater for Ep. IX). I was really curious and nervous to see where this film would take her character.

Initially, I wasn’t a fan of the revelation that Rey was a “Palpatine.” I liked the idea of her being a nobody, to really drive home the idea that you don’t have to come from a powerful Force lineage in order to be great.

But, that being said, I think they handled the reveal well in the film, and the twist landed more smoothly for me the second time I watched it.

It’s interesting because Rey was so desperate for belonging and to find her family, only to discover that her only surviving family is literally THE WORST person in the galaxy: Emperor Palpatine.

TROS does a really great job showing Rey grappling with her anger (Force lighting!). She isolates herself because she feels no one understands her, and the one person who potentially does — Kylo Ren — is still trying to convince her to turn to the dark side.

The complicated relationship between Kylo and Rey is, to me, the best thing about the Star Wars sequel trilogy. Their fight in the ocean on the ruins of the Death Star ranks among my favorite Star Wars scenes now, and it’s made even more powerful as Kylo finally makes peace with his family and rejects the darkness.

I was nervous how this film would handle the character of General Leia after Carrie Fisher’s death, but I believe TROS gives the character a fitting and respectful end. She willingly sacrifices her life and becomes one with the Force in order to reach her son one last time. And Kylo’s vision of Han Solo made me more than a little misty-eyed; I hadn’t heard that Harrison Ford was returning, and it was a lovely surprise.

Speaking of Kylo Ren, Adam Driver is great, once again, as the tortured final Skywalker. I didn’t even realize that Kylo had such minimal dialogue after his turn back to the light on the Death Star ruins, because Driver is that powerful of an actor and does so much with his expressions and body language. I loved watching him transform back into Ben Solo as he fights the Knights of Ren and Rey passes the lightsaber to him through the Force.

There’s been a lot of debate surrounding the character of Kylo Ren, whether he should or shouldn’t be redeemed, and whether he should or shouldn’t make it out of TROS alive. Personally, Kylo Ren’s redemption arc was my one “must” for this film, and I’m really thrilled that I got it.

I am a little sad he didn’t live, because it would have been super interesting to see a dark sider coping with their mistakes from the past and searching for atonement. However, if I only got to pick two of the three things I wanted for Kylo — Bendemption, Reylo, and Ben surviving — I’d have chosen the two we got, because I do adore an angsty, tragic romance. I love the fact he crawls out of the pit, despite his pain, and then uses the last of his life force to heal her. (Yes, I’m still swooning over that!)

And, as we’ve heard before, no one is ever really gone. Ben is now at peace within the Force, and who knows? With places like the World Between Worlds introduced elsewhere in Star Wars canon, he may show up again in some way.

This film has a good balance of the new and the nostalgic. Lando Calrissian was used well; it’s always a pleasure to see Billy Dee Williams again. “Fan service” is sometimes used as a negative term, but it can be really powerful when done correctly (such as Cap catching Thor’s hammer in “Endgame”). I was initially hoping to see more Force ghosts, including Anakin’s, but I think the way the movie handled it was actually better (Rey hears the voices of past Jedi, inspiring her to get up and keep fighting).

I appreciated how the ending was bittersweet, like the endings of the other two Star Wars trilogies, blending love, loss, and, above all, hope. That’s why I’m a fan of Rey’s ending; even though all the Skywalkers are technically gone, their legacy isn’t, because Rey chooses to take on the name. She is reclaiming the Skywalker legacy and leading the Jedi down a new path.

As you probably gathered, I could talk about this movie forever, but this is turning into a really long review (if you’re still reading, bless you!). Since Star Wars is my favorite franchise, it’s really hard to look at these movies objectively/critically, and I find myself wanting to gloss over the little parts I didn’t like and just focus on what I loved.

So, to close this out, here are some of the random little things from this movie that made me smile:

I’m pretty sure what Finn was trying to tell Rey and keeping a secret is that he can feel the Force. Does this mean he can become a Jedi, or is he more like Chirrut Îmwe from “Rogue One”? I hope future books/comics in the expanded universe will explore this!

Seriously, Oscar Isaac is so good as Poe in this movie; he’s really funny and charming, and it was cool to see him grow into a leader after learning from his mutiny in “The Last Jedi.”

I still don’t really know who the Knights of Ren are but they sure look cool. My favorite shot of them is when the camera pans around them on the desert planet of Pasaana. They look like they’re about to drop this awesome rock music video, like one of them will reach out his hand through the Force and a guitar will snap into it. I need a Knight of Ren cosplay for a future con.

Loved Kylo and Rey’s Force fight where they jumped between locations.

General Hux is the spy! I just adore General Hux as a character, and while I wish we’d gotten more of him, I love that he is so petty that he will help the Resistance just to spite Kylo.

Porgs! I was hoping we’d catch a glimpse of one of the Porgs from “The Last Jedi,” and I wasn’t disappointed. I won’t confess how much Porg merch I own, but just know that I’m obsessed.

The Sith planet Exegol was so creepy and cool. The flashing lights were definitely unnerving and added to the otherworldly aura of the place. I wasn’t originally a fan of Palpatine returning in this story, but it was done really well, and his final showdown with Rey is awesome. I think the fact that he created Snoke is a cool detail, and I’m glad they showed it.

I loved seeing Rose again, but I also have to share that I was disappointed she was not given more screen-time. She should have had a much larger role in the plot.

The festival at Pasaana looks so fun and I really want to go.

Ex-Stormtrooper Jannah is a cool character, and I hope to see more of her. Plus, seeing those “space horses” charging across the surface of a ship just made me so ridiculously happy.
