thinking about Cam in BOE custody and holding so tightly onto Palamades' bones before she even knew for sure he was really in there, through BOE torture and electric shocks and Judith & Crown's... everything and how she didn't talk for weeks. "Cam was gone". hollowed out and gutted and razed to the fucking ground by grief. and she was grieving Palamades, of course, but how much of that grief was also for Dulcie, who Cam found out was dead maybe fifteen seconds after Palamades himself exploded?

im thinking about how she and Pal and Dulcie had been exchanging letters for over 10 years and Cam had saved every one. EVERY single one. sharing your whole life your whole self with two people that you love and then suddenly you're alone. two parts of her gone, one of them she didn't even notice until it was too late. she didn't notice. grief and guilt and destruction. she never got to say goodbye to either of them. what the fuck.

I actually don't mind that Twisted Wonderland isn't as dark as it could be.

I love the wholesome vibes it has, it deals with dark topics, yes, but in the end it is a story about hope and redemption.

It is about how those dark negative feelings you have are not you. They are a part of you, but not "whole" you. And you can be better with people who give you a second chance. People who understand that life isn't black and white. Life is a journey. Everyone makes mistakes, let's their negative feelings get the best of them. But what matters is what you do after it all. And what helps a lot is to have people around you who give you that second chance, help you grow to be a better person and look after you. So you can do the same for them in the future.

Twisted Wonderland gives me Kingdom Hearts meets Persona 4 feels. And I love it wholeheartedly. Those characters have become my friends, like the characters from my favorite games (FF games, Persona 3 especially) and I can't wait to experience more stories with them.

I love dark stories. Dark topics and how stories navigate them. But I'm a biggest sucker for stories that give hope. That when you finish that story, you have been left with this warm and fuzzy feeling and eagerness to keep on living after all the darkness and rain.

I literally go a little crazy when I think about Alan and Alice for too long.

She’s LITERALLY his light in the darkness. His only hope, his only wish. His only desire in a neverending lake of despair. Alan probably spends every painful, waking moment in the Dark Place clutching onto his memories of her for any semblance of comfort. How many “nights” (if you can even call it that, in a neverending Dark Place) has he spent curled up in the corner of the Writer’s Room, imagining her touch?

Somebody needs to sedate me.

i cry about these idiots at least once a week and their love for each other. gets even better when you remember the tome from the dead by daylight alan content where matt painstakingly voices alan trying to remember alice (what color are her eyes) or seeing how ilkka looks at her at the end of american nightmare, unsure if what he's seeing is real but happy to believe even for just those few fleeting seconds that he's both holding and being held by her again and the tears are coming now
