Ok it closes out on me when I tried typing it the first time-
Anyway, I'm a sucker for shock value ones, just so funny to me, so how about M'gann being nervous about introducing bf danny and it happens at an inconvenient time! Could go ghost royalty, ancient of space or anything, hell ghost as dragons would be pretty funny, up to you though!
I'm not sure if I did a good job at this, but I didn't want you to wait too long and real life is keepimg me busier than expected, so for now, it's here. I may continue it one day (I also have different version of fill for this prompt, because neither idea felt right, so if you'd like to see I too, just let me know whatever way is most convenient to you)
This wasn't supposed to happen like that. M'gann didn't have a super detailed plan on how it was supposed to happen, but even her vague (thought and rethought every night) ideas were anything but this. It was supposed to be a calm, low-stakes situation. Maybe even make it look like an accidental meeting, Team in civies hanging out around Happy Harbour, bumping into Danny and then she'd just introduced him, perhaps adding âbtw, he is my boyfriendâ almost like an afterthought. This seemed like the best possible scenario.
This was also, as expected with the way hero life is, the exact opposite of what actually happened.
Of course, it didnât start with anything heralding the absolute disaster this day had to become. Kinda accidentally the Team stumbled upon something between a cave and a basement, and in it a group of people, who decided to perform a summoning of a genie so they could⊠wish for stuff. They didnât even look like cultists or villains of any sort, just a group of random adults from seemingly very different backgrounds. Mâgann had a really hard time understanding what actually brought them together other than their wishes.
Which was actually pretty useful when it came to fighting them, because nobody really cared about their fellow summoner, just trying to save their own butt. She kinda wished more of their opponents were so incompetent.
Though, she spoke too soon because in the excitement of the fight, somehow all of them didnât realize that one or two of the summoners⊠actually managed to finish a summoning. It was honestly a little bit embarrassing.
But, it was too late to dwell on all that, as right above the summoning circle appeared a circle in a worryingly familiar shade of green.
Of course, this one time she didnât have any equipment from Danny, had to be when the Team encountered a ghost.
Ghost in question was a beautiful woman, with long hair covering one of her eyes, in a blue outfit that was related to one of Earth cultures, but Mâgann didnât know which, and a bunch of bracelets on her wrists. Martian could make a hazard guess on who it was, based on the stories Danny told her.
âWe donât have time for explanations, I think I know who this is, if Iâm right for the love of everything thatâs dear to you, donât say the word âwishâ out loudâ she demanded over the Mindlink.
Before she finished, Artemis took silver tape from somewhere and slapped a piece of it over Wallyâs mouth. Mâgann understood the sentiment but still⊠it was a little bit too nuclear option.
Desiree (if it was her) didnât attack anyone, looking a bit confused, giving Team a moment of reprieve to plan and for Kid Flash to make sure none of the summoners could make whatever wish they wanted either. Also with the use of silver tape. Djinnâs were always tricky.
M'gann used this moment of everyone getting their bearings to curse herself for not bringing any ghost weapons this time. Any other mission, Team or not, she had something on her but today? Today she had nothing.
Excluding the summoning engraved into clips holding her cape but it was kinda last resort. It wouldn't annihilate everything in one mile radius or something but she didn't want to drag Danny there if he was during a test, other ghost fight or something. She knew better than anyone that he didnât need more distractions.
Conner crashed into a wall right next to her. Artemis seemed to lose her cool when none of her arrows seemed to reach the ghost while Robin was trying to make some counter plans with Kaldur. They couldn't do a thing to Desiree and it was a matter of seconds before she stopped entertaining them and went to the city. It⊠would end badly, most likely. Danny would prefer to get involved before it got that far. YeahâŠ
She really wished she didnât have to call.
âI have an idea, cover for me for a minute or twoâ
âBold of you to assume we can stop her from anythingâ
âI believe in you Wally. Just distract herâ
âMy water attacks seem to be effective weapon against herâ
âThatâs aster! What do you plan to do, M'gann?â
âSummon another ghostâ
She expertly ignored yelling that followed, taking the golden clip off of her cape. She held fabric in place with absentminded use of telekinesis, while she focused on an engraved pattern. Danny's summoning circle wasn't actually too complicated or intricate but she needed to do it just right. And frankly, she just liked looking at it. Physical proof that her boyfriend would be there if she needed it. Drawn representation of who he is, the deepest and truest parts of his soul written in the language that only Universe itself could fully understand.
And it was beautiful. Absolutely incredible. Much better than Desiree's circle, thank you very much.
Mâgann dropped to her knees and grabbed leftover chalk from previous summoning and crouched to quickly draw Danny's seal. She had a lot of practice from all the times she doodled it on a whim just to get something of him with her when she missed him the most. She rarely actually summoned him, again, it was difficult to align their schedules, but she was very familiar with the first step.
And it was really easy from there.
She placed the clip in the middle of the circle, shapeshifted one of her nails to get a bit of blood on the chalk and leaned back.
After a careful, deep breath, she started an incantation, putting as much power in her voice as she could.
âI call upon you guard of Amity Park, I call upon you dearest child of the Ice, I call upon you one favored by the Time, I call upon you vanquisher of the Fear, I call upon you subduer of the King, I call upon you defender and the guide, I call upon Phantom, both worlds beloved childâ
Circle erupted in green light, putting a momentary pause to the fight. Mâgann was still blinking spots away when a figure flung itself out of the summoning circle, right at the Desiree.
âWhat the fuck?!â
Only after the first punch was thrown did Danny turn back to her, with his usual, somehow both gallant and bashful smile, that without fault made her knees get a little weaker. She smiled back.
âHello Starlightâ he greeted, sounding almost casual.
âStarlight?â
âHi Angel. Nice of you to drop byâ she answered in the same manner. Wally tried to yell from behind the duck tape.
âAngel?! M'gann, who is he? Who is she?!â
âI will always come if you callâ he said without any doubt, suddenly as serious as if he was sharing information that could break or make the world.
It certainly worked like that to her world. She actually melted a little on the inside.
âI knowâ
âActually, that's kinda cute. I still have no idea who this is, but you go girlâ
âI feel like it's not the right time Artemisâ
âNot to interrupt⊠whatever this is, but the other ghost is escapingâ Robin cut in âAlso, if you want to make out afterwards, please find the room, Batman and Catwoman are traumatizing enoughâ
Few people snorted, while Danny blushed green. He darted back at Desiree, clearly to escape the embarrassment. Mâgann stood up, totally at ease now, that he was there to take care of it.
âWill you need a hand? I don't have any tech but we have a trick or two up our sleeves!â she asked, projecting her voice so it carried through the cavernous basement without yelling.
âI'm good for now but thanks for asking!â
âMâgann, can you give us anything substantial? Who is this? How do you know him?â
âOne question at the time and let's wait until he finishes, okay?â
She cut off Mindlink before anyone agreed or protested.
âMiss Martian!â
âSoup time!â
With a blast of light, Desiree got sucked in and Danny landed in front of them with a proud grin.
âMy job here is doneâ
âIt truly is. You're getting faster tooâ
âAnd thanks to who is that?â
âYouâ
Danny sent her both an incredulous and playful glare.
âOf course. I miraculously found a ways to not be a mess and don't crash through every wall on my way andââ
âWell, no butââ
âLet me remind you, you're not alone⊠also who are you dude? And where did the other lady go?â Wally asked, right after ripping the duct tape off his mouth.
âOh, well, I'm Phantom, I usually work in Amity Park?â he said a bit unsure, as if calling him a protector was under any question. That just wouldn't do.
âHe's a hero from Amity Parkâ
âThanks love. It's nice to finally meet you all. M talked a lot about you!â
âCan't say same about you, sorryâ
âThat's fine. I know M was agonizing over how to introduce me in the best way possible. I'm really happy it's finally over,â he paused for a moment, with his brows furrowed âDid I do good? This first impression thing?â
âYou're⊠far less imposing that I personally expected after hearing Miss Martian summoning you, butââ
âMâgann how could you hide this from us?ïżœïżœïżœ Conner blurted out quietly, and oh, he sounded so utterly crushed. Everyone fell silent, the playful atmosphere gone as if it had evaporated.
âI never intentionally hid it. It wasn't significant enough to mention at the start and when it became important I felt like I couldn't just drop it at you during lunch or something. I always planned to tell you, there was just never the right time nor right words. I never wanted to hide it.â
âEven just me?â
âEspecially youâ
âYou still should'veâŠâ
âYeah, I should. I'm sorryâ
âHow long ago have you met?â
âHalf a year ago,â Danny said before she managed to answer âIt's all kinda my fault actually. I was really set on not getting mixed up with more hero business than I had to back then. I didn't want you or Justice League finding out about me. And when I agreed, it was already really late. I'm sure she'd told you all from the get go if I let her, I'm sorryâ
âWhy wouldn't you want us to know about you?â
âIt's⊠Probably not the conversation we should have right here, over gagged wannabe cultists.â
âValid. Let's call the cops and get going. You two have much to explainâ
âAnd you're sitting eight feet apart until you do!â
Danny leaned in to kiss her, quick and playful, before he jumped back at the demanded distance.
âWell, this still went better than at your sideâ
âAbsolutelyâ
*******

NORTON GHOST AU.. NORTALICE PLESSS??
Okay I'll indulge fghdsjfkgsjka
Norton would be one of the ghosts who'd be more pessimistic about Alice at first. He had no faith in her solving their predicament and just wanted her to go away so they could be left in peace. And when the other ghosts agree to ask for her help (he was against this), he became reticent and tried to avoid her.
At first Alice respected his wishes of wanting to be left alone, but she couldn't help but wonder if there was something she had done to upset him because of the way he acted towards her. She wanted to resolve any issues that may be between them as they are practically living together for an undetermined amount of time. Otherwise things will just be uncomfortable all around. Unfortunately, Norton is one of the more stubborn ghosts and would act cold towards her and push her away. Still, Alice is curious about Norton. She doesn't know exactly why, but something about him seemed enticing in a way. Perhaps she could sense there was something more to him than this brick wall he presented as.
Norton could often be found outside alone in the forest near by or in the court yard. He seemed to prefer the open sky over the enclosed spaces in the manor. While outside he would just wander around, like he is searching for something, inspecting the rocks on the ground. Or he would lie sprawled out on the grass and stare at the sky. Alice had on several occasions tried to approach Norton when she sees him out and about alone, but as soon as she closes in on him, he would just give her this dead look and vanish before her eyes.
Once it becomes apparent that each ghost needs to resolve their trauma in order to lift the curse, they have no choice but to work together, much to Norton's dismay. He did NOT budge at first and tried avoiding her even more. I can picture this scenario where Alice keeps finding him again and again after he vanishes whenever she approaches him, and he becomes increasingly frustrated that she seems to know where he is every time (she had taken a mental note of all the spots he frequents and used that to track him down). It becomes this slow, wild chase until Norton is fed and tells her to leave him the heck alone. But Alice is insistent; working through this together will make it easier for the both of them. It needs to be done.
Norton begrudgingly agrees at last, and the two of them finally sit down to talk. He is uncooperative with her and gives her super vague, short and snarky answers to her inquiries. After hours of this, Alice finally has enough. "Please, Norton! I'm begging you!" "What you want me to do?" "Give me more to work with, for a start." "That's all I've got." "I don't believe that for a second. There's more to your story. The records-" "Then use those! Everything you need to know is already there." "Firstly, the records don't have the full picture. Secondly, you're the one who needs to remember, not me. That's why I need you to walk me through-" "You don't need anything!" "... I'm trying to help you. Why won't you let me?" "I never want your help to begin with!" "This isn't only about you, Norton. Everyone's affected by this entangled mess. Take some responsibility, please. I know this is hard for you. I want to understand, I really do. But you have to help me to do so." "..." "Maybe I'm not the right person for this, after all."
Alice would then leave Norton alone while the others berate him for ruining their chance of getting out of this place. He acts like he doesn't care, but deep down he feels really bad about it all. He wanted her off his back, and now that he finally got what he wanted, he wasn't so sure anymore. Especially seeing Alice's spirit so broken. While he tries to think of a way to rectify things, he finds Alice one night, sitting in the parlor in her night gown and staring out the window. She doesn't acknowledge him as he hesitantly approaches her and sits down next to her. Before he manages to say anything, she begins to share a personal memory with him without quite knowing why. Maybe it is her lack of sleep? Or her feeling of hopelessness. The memory is about how she was unable to help her parents when she was young, and that she thinks she is the reason why they died. She spent all her life as a journalist trying to help others in order to repent for this. But it looks like she is still as useless and unable to help others, in her words.
Norton listens intently and starts reflecting more over Alice and the time spent with her. He realises that she is nothing like what he thought she was. She might be just as broken as the rest of them, but she has a heart of gold, and she is honest and genuine; a breed of people he was not used to having around in his life and death. He reassures her that she is nothing of what she said she was, and that he was wrong about her. Slowly he opens up as well. Deep down he actually wants help, but is afraid to face it. She in turn reassures him that he doesn't have to face it alone and that she will help in every way she can. He just needs to be open for it.
They agree to try again; really try this time. But for the rest of the night, they just talk about everything and nothing. They talk until Alice falls asleep on the sofa. Norton stays with her for a while longer, studying her features in silence. He wished he could drape a blanket over her so she wouldn't be cold. He then beats himself up for even entertaining the idea that she is pretty. Eventually he leaves her in peace, but doesn't stray far away. They both feel better after this, and from there on out, their bond becomes stronger slowly over time.

lumax as a premature relationship
first: I don't mean any of this like "the show shouldn't have done it". what I mean is that with lumax, ST is telling the story of a relationship whose flaw (if it can be summarized into just one) is that it happened too soon.
probably out of comparison to milkvan, and the delay of canon byler, lumax gets lauded as the wholesome ship based on true friendship that slowly blossomed into romance. but that's not accurate. Lucas is a good friend to Max, but Max isn't to Lucas, and it certainly wasn't slow.
even platonic lumax should've been a slow simmer but was a speed run
the newly-introduced Max has high walls, which suggests anyone who wants to get close to her will have to take a slow approach. but then before you know it, Lucas is just kinda. in there.
yes, it takes him most of the season to earn Max's trust, which sounds long, but isn't. the first time Lucas and Max ever spoke was Halloween, Wednesday. the arcade I think is Saturday, and the junkyard is the day after that? so she broaches the darkest subject in her life... 4 days after meeting him. with like. zero prompting. "that fog looks cool! btw my parents are divorced and..."
Max's walls are only so high because of how badly she wants to let someone in, so it's understandable that the right person could get in relatively fast. I have no problem with that trope. sucker, in fact. but opening up here was CRAZY for someone with huge trust issues:
you have to be careful who you confide in about abuse because if your confidant mishandles it so that your abuser finds out you told, things could get MUCH worse. she simply doesn't know Lucas well enough to know he won't accidentally put her in more danger (which actually he already did: by following her out of the arcade after she said not to, and again by showing up at her house).
this talk was moments before Max saw a demodog, meaning she's gone along with the supernatural story without any evidence. I'm not criticizing that; she's a kid who likes fantasy, wants friends really bad, and isn't above playing make-believe in order to be included. what bothers me is she confided in Lucas about her abuse BEFORE seeing a shred of proof this entire outing wasn't the elaborate prank she feared it was. in the infinitely more realistic scenario that these boys are just messing with her, and will ditch her after they've had their laugh, this could so easily have led to a much darker situation at home.
the timing of that conversation was so objectively, stupidly unsafe that I'd call it bad writing if it was an isolated incident. but, self-preservation instincts so terrible they can sometimes be better explained as elf-sabotage - that's just classic Max.
romantic lumax seemed kind of forced because as a new kid in town, all Max wanted was friendship
the snow ball is about a month after everything else. Max and Lucas don't seem to be a couple yet. it doesn't even look like they're dates. so to kiss him suddenly felt like another jump way ahead. he sure looked surprised.
I guess a month is a while when you're 13, but the romantic aspect felt rushed to me because the whole season is full of indications that Max only wanted friendship. and that's made super clear by her constant focus on group friendship. her dialogue throughout 2 is consistently group-oriented.
her behavior is too: as of Halloween, Max has Lucas and Dustin in her pocket. if she's crushing on Lucas, or enjoys attention from boys in general, why on earth would she go out on such a limb seeking Mike's acceptance after she already has what she wants?
because that's not what she wants most. she wants to belong to the whole group, like she keeps saying. (I'm going to ramble much more about this theme in another post soon)
Max continues to prioritize friendship / group activities even after lumax becomes a thing
a few examples:
lumax's idea of "romantic time" can include their friends, in contrast to milkvan prioritizing alone time.
Max (and Lucas) drop 1 on 1 time (washing out his eyes is a scene that's an easy kiss opportunity for your standard tv teen couple) in favor of a long trek in the sun to build a radio tower so Dustin can talk to a girl she doesn't believe exists. Max and Lucas do skip off together, but again in contrast to El and Mike who leave early to make out, they only leave because it's time to go home.
^that's the same Max who tagged along and earnestly participated in armoring up a junked schoolbus to fight monsters without any proof.
despite downsizing for trailer living, she kept the Michael Myers mask in memory of the first night she felt like a part of the party.
unlike others who yell for their loved one from the UD, Max calls out for Lucas and Dustin.
her life-saving montage includes many platonic as well as romantic moments.
alright killjoy, if Max only wanted friendship, how's it make sense that SHE initiated all the romantic stuff?
ST is not a universe where grabbing someone's hand in a tense moment is necessarily an indicator of romance. Dustin said he could feel "the electricity" when Lucas and Max held hands on the bus, but then, Dustin also ships stobin.
the kiss, I could actually come closest to calling a writing misstep because.. it wasn't written. it feels forced because it was, as a last-minute unscripted thing - not because the Duffers decided it fit Max's characterization, but purely because they thought it was funny how uncomfortable Sadie was with filming her first kiss. <- this interview is actually so gross.
but, that kiss is canon regardless of how I feel about bts lore, and it fits and it works in the sense that this is the story of a flawed relationship. Max initiated it despite not being ready for it, simply because she thought she was.
Max's childhood fears about bad relationships have made her overeager to prove a good relationship can exist. so the first time a boy is actually kind to her, she's like OH SEE LOVE IS REAL I DONT HAVE TO GROW UP TO BE MY MOM LET'S GOOOO and hurls herself into something she's not mature enough to realize she's too immature to execute well.
if that kiss was so misguided, how's it still Max's happiest memory?
there's no conflict there.
she grew up around terrible relationships and probably feared she was destined for the same, so to find a nice boy like Lucas must have given her such incredible relief and hope. in her young mind, that dance was her happily ever after. you never forget how good a moment like that felt, regardless of how well reality lived up to it.
that said. can I point out that reality hasn't lived up to it?
Max choosing the moment lumax began, as opposed to any moment from the year-and-change of its actual contents... might be less good the more you think about it. like. she doesn't describe this as her favorite memory. she says it's the time she was happiest. in other words, she hasn't been as happy before or since.
that kiss marked lumax's moment of greatest potential, which I think is what made Max so happy. not the relationship she's actually gotten so far.
mmkay and then what do I do about the fact Max STILL wants to date Lucas?
once again, Max is the one who makes things overtly romantic by doodling a picture of them holding hands. but as you may know from my recent lumax diatribe, I don't see how the ship is seaworthy at present.
so the top layer of my interpretation is that Max is still operating under the same ideas that caused her to kiss Lucas in the first place. she's not thinking about how it'll work; she just wants. this is fast-forward Max again. it's a similar moment of hope to the snow ball kiss. romance with Lucas once again looks like her lifeline out of an awful situation.
the layer underneath that is less fluffy:
Max might've accepted this invite in as much an "I might die tonight so it won't hurt to make some lighthearted plans for the future, he did just save my life so why hurt his feelings for no reason" way as anything else. I don't mean her affection is fake. she just might consider the movie date a pipe dream.
consider that her attic monologue happens only a couple minutes after the doodle, and shows that her suicidal ideations are barely behind her. like, the wanting-to-die part is just bait at this point I think, but the deserving-to-die sentiment still feels fresh and sincere.
consider that Max so recently scolded Lucas for assuring her things would work out because that's "never true" in her life... and now here she is drawing a doodle of things working out.
sure, this could be a girl who's thinking "yes!!! â
Attending Event! I genuinely expect to be alive, deserving of love, and in the mood for romance this Friday!" but to me, it honestly seems more like a girl thinking "God, I wish."
btw the doodle would've been perfect as the advent of romantic lumax, imo
if lumax had grown slowly out of a healthy mutual friendship, Max really could be ready right here.
imagine: s2, Max earns her place in the party, but to grow especially close friends with Lucas takes a year; the bus talk happens in s3. we can tell their friendship is starting to want to become more. depression interferes in s4. but their bond helps pierce the fog, and they protect each other from Vecna/Jason.
you hit me with the movie doodle after THAT buildup? adorable, precious, showstopping. at that point, that date could've been their happily ever after. <- this is what people think it is already!
lumax is one of many flawed relationships (and that's okay)
another sign that lumax is supposed to be flawed is its place in the larger pattern of flawed relationships: parallels with other characters and ships.
Max and El in particular share a similar stumble into their relationships: both bond with the first boy to treat them with kindness, and throw themselves into a relationship that actually costs them the friendship they should've had with that boy.
and all the party relationships illustrate different friendship/romance progressions:
lumax is the story of a romance that should've been a friendship first/also and isn't going to succeed til it gets this right
byler will be the story of a romance that was a friendship first and will succeed by remaining one also (or so the themes and patterns suggest)
mileven is the story of a romance that should've been a friendship instead.
literally all of ST's relationships, including the endgame romances, have flaws that are intentional and meant to be explored. in fact that's like... most of what the show is. and most fans can readily admit that about all of them, until they get to lumax, which they think is uniquely meant to be perfect and is flawed only in its writing. this view strips lumax from its broader context and ignores many lessons it's there to teach us about ST's overarching themes.
understand: my aim in pointing out lumax's flaws is not to persuade anyone to enjoy it less or stop shipping it!
flaws don't mean you aren't allowed to like a thing. if anything, it makes them way more interesting to discuss, and more compelling to root for/against. we don't have to pretend our characters are perfect in order to enjoy, ship, and learn from them.
more on all this coming soon in another post exploring different types of love in the Max plot!
#lowkey lumax is getting away scot-free with credit for work only byler has done#givehimthemedicine analysis#max mayfield#lumax#tw suicide#character analysis#take your blorbos and ships off the pedestal and acknowledge their flaws... for the first time in your life you will be free#an actually perfect relationship would be so boring they wouldn't put it on tv

okay look, calming down - i understand why some people would want zelda to be a protagonist in like a totk-style 3d zelda. that would be great! the reason i predicted 2d for playable zelda is because its a smaller gamble for nintendo - imo, its realistically what we could get. especially at the end of the switch' life cycle AND so soon after totk.
BUT i'm very happy, for a few reasons:
1. it IS mainline zelda. its not called "triforce heroes" or "tingle's rosy rupeeland", its not a peach-style spinoff or side game. its a real zelda game. its called THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: ECHOES OF WISDOM. that alone, giving the mainline zelda brand prestige to this, IS a risk. and its one i super appreciate nintendo taking!!!
2. i disagree that just because it has the links awakening toy-style aesthetic, that automatically makes it a "lesser" or unserious game. links awakening IS a good game! its some peoples favorite! it added interesting lore to the zelda series, its a canon part of the timeline, its mechanically fun, and it has the fun psychological element of analyzing it in terms of links feelings about the dream. like how even the boss monsters are fearful of "dying", begging link not to destroy the island. which of course isn't "real" since its a dream, but its interesting that link would THINK that. also, marin đ
3. like i said in the prediction post, this could be understood as a testfire for the concept. IF its as successful as any other 2d zelda game (and thats a big if! i already see people calling it more niche or for babies. i hope that doesnt catch on too much and depress hype đ), maybe nintendo WILL see it as less of a gamble to make zelda the protagonist in a full-on, "serious" 3d title. nintendo is, after all, a business. trying it out with a smaller game makes total sense.
also... it looks like a good game? when a link between worlds was released, everyone thought the wall merging ability was brilliant and a great way to turn 2d zelda into a more unique experience.
this, to me, looks to have similar potential!! the fact that zelda can essentially order enemies to fight for her and use her environment to think of intelligent solutions to any problem is very in-character! it's fitting both for a princess and for the bearer of the triforce of wisdom.
also, its not just building/environment traversal! she does fight!
idk y'all, this looks like a great time to me! i don't know why people would presume its any "lesser" than any other 2d zelda... when we've literally seen another 2d zelda with this exact artstyle. and its an original game!! its not a remake!! :D

Pairings: Natasha Romanoff x Supersoldier!Reader
HIII!! super rough and unedited but I wanted to get it out. I am new to writing smut so bare with me lol. I've had this in my drafts for a min so figured I get it out! Hope you enjoy ;)
Warnings: Smut, Bottom!Nat, Top!Reader, Violence, IDK JUST PLEASE MDI
Summary: Natasha was a flirt, it was easy and entertaining, but she took a keen interest in flirting with you; Toying with you on a mission however, may not have been the best idea, or was it?
"Morning soldier," Nat greeted, causing you to blush immediately as you finished rinsing your fruits.
"Hey, Nat, want any fruit," you offered. The girl made you extremely flustered when it came to her comments, but besides that you had real friendship with the her
"No, thank you, but you could hand me a bowl," doing as she said you opened the cabinet above you handing Nat her request, "Thanks," she said taking the bowl letting your fingers touch and running her other hand across your broad shoulders as she passed you.
You flushed quickly, turning around clumsily your elbow hit the cabinet you had left open and your bowl of fruit drop straight to the floor.
Those in the kitchen laughed at the regular interaction as Wilson mumbled out a teasing, "nice one, y/l/n," as you rubbed the back of your neck and stared at the spilled fruit and empty Tupperware on the floor.
"yeah, yeah whatever," you grumbled out picking up your fruit as Wanda helped you giving you a pity smile and Nat smirked amused in the corner.
"You ever gonna give the girl a break," Clint asked walking up beside Nat as the two watched you wash your fruit again and get another bowl leaving the kitchen.
"Absolutely not," Nat said making her bowl of oatmeal, "the day's just begun, and we have training soon."
You had headed back to your room to save yourself any more embarrassment. You didn't mind the flirting by Nat, it boosted your ego and you were head over heals for the woman. She was perfect in your eyes, which was terrifying. She was brave, very skilled in her job, very stubborn, a little pridefull, but she was genuinely kind, understanding, and absolutely stunning. That's why she had so much power over you. You did everything she asked of you and practically dropped to your knees whenever she batted her eyelashes; everyone knew it.
You have yet to figure out her true intentions with her comments, but you knew they were too detailed and persistent for it not to mean anything. Whether it was just lust or whether she became the love of your life, it didn't matter to you yet, you just wanted her⊠and maybe a little payback for all the times she's embarrassed you. You spent a little time in your room finishing up mission reports but inevitably headed down to the main gym early. It was team training today which means more rosy cheeks and school girl butterflies are coming your way. You decided itâd be safe to work up a little sweat so you could at least attempt to excuse the blush on your face.
âHey,â Steve greeted as he approached the treadmill you were stretching next to, âyou beat me, here."
âdonât be shocked rogers, I am suppose to be the better model,â you teased
âi think people prefer the original,â he returned, as he began his stretches as well.
The two of you ended up running for about 45 minutes; you reaching 33 miles, Steve 31.
âpeople can prefer you more, but numbers donât lie,â you spoke as the two of you walked over to the waters with a light sweat.
Steve was ready to reply when the gym doors opened with Wilson, Bucky, and the Maximoffâs entering and greeting you.
You announced to all of them how you beat Steve and began a discussion about whoâs the best super soldier as Nat and Clint entered.
Natashaâs eyes landed on you immediately and that glowing sheen of sweat. Nat practically went feral whenever she caught you training or even in the field, basically anytime your muscles were pumped and you were showing off your strength, which is why she loveddd training with you.
As the team did their separate warm-ups, they eventually made it to the big mat to run scenarios on Vision, who made a reasonable subject as he was made of the strongest metal on Earth. Each of them took their turns and contributing pointers.
âHey soldier,â Nat greeted joining your side and looking up at you.
âTasha,â you smiled warmly, âno distractions this session please,â you breathed jokingly
âwhat me? you do your own share of distracting,â she spoke alluringly.
You raised you eyebrows in question
she smirked touching your bicep lightly as you looked down at your tight black compression tee, âyour training shirts donât leave much to imagine.â Your jaw clenched hard enough to shatter your teeth as your face lit up once more leaving you unable to respond besides a small laugh, âdonât worry soldier,â she stood on her tippy toes as you leaned your ear towards her and she whispered, âI really donât mind.â
ây/l/n,â Sam shouted, âwhy donât you and Steve spar so we can decide whoâs really the better model."
You forced a smile still caught up in what Nat said, âwinner goes against Buck,â you proposed as Steve and Bucky immediately engaged in banter. You looked back to Nat who was already walking away with that dumb sway in her hips.
âAhem,â Steve cleared his throat waiting in the middle.
âLet the soldier gawk for a min,â Bucky laughed as everyone was already giggling.
Walking to the middle of the mat your jaw clenched with the tension Nat at fueled, âReady, kid,â Steve smiled extending his hand, you shook off your thoughts and accepted his hand.
You began with light jabs and blocks, both of them moving with an easy grace. Steve feinted to the left, then quickly punched you right in the face falling away from the punch as you gave a small laugh.
You responded with a quick, kick aimed at Steve's shin, eyes sparkling as you got back up quickly and made brief eye contact with Nat going straight back in for another punch; Steve dodged it impressively giving your hair a playful ruffle, receiving a feigned glare. You then get caught off guard once more by the red head over Steveâs shoulder this time getting tooo lost in her and allowing Steve to attempt a mock take down, you struggled briefly but slipped out of it twisting and landing an instinctual sharp kick to his ribs.
Steve dropped to his knees immediately and held a hand up clutching his rib as he gasped for air, his own being completely knocked out of him. he declared a dramatic surrender, âI concede,â he choked, âtad too hard for training kid.â
âshit, sorry,â you breathed sliding down to help him stand.
âall good just was not prepared for all that air to get knocked out,â he breathed out a laugh.
You and Sam let out a laugh as you both went to help him up.
"Yeah, if we're gonna spar can we get Romanoff to leave the room," Bucky joked receiving a smack from Wanda beside him.
"Shut it, Barnes," you said rolling your eyes, "you can just say you're scared." The team laughed at this but deep down you were a little sick of it. You could've genuinely hurt Steve.
The rest of training went pretty smoothly, you stayed as far away as you could from Nat and decided on sparring with Vision for safety.
On the way back to your room your mind was only on her. You spent the rest of the night thinking about her. You craved her in so many ways and you've never experienced the attention of such a beautiful woman, whether it was genuine or not it made you weak; weak in many ways that could lead to dangerous outcomes.
A knock pulled you out of your thoughts, you were sat on your bed freshly out the shower, in only a sports bra and shorts.
"Yeah, just a minute!"
"Hey, y/n, it's Steve," he announced from the other side of the door, "I've got a mission for you, I need you in conference room 6 for a breifing."
"Got it!" you answered opening the door dressed to see him heading in that direction," What's the job," you asked at the door only to see Nat and Maria inside.
--------------------------------------
The mission was simple get in get out. HYDRA's latest threat: a hidden base in Siberia working on a new generation of enhanced using stolen S.H.I.E.L.D. technology. The mission involved only gathering intelligence, sabotaging the facility's operations, and ensuring the destruction of any cruel new serum, simple enough, hopefully.
Your mind wasn't completely in it, it was still caught up in your mission partner, and the lack of control you experienced around her. You knew this mission could be dangerous as well, HYDRA's experiments usually are, you, Bucky, and the twins are proof of that.
"Hey you alright," Nat pulled you out of your thoughts as she stood in front of you.
"Yeah," you gave a soft smile getting up and walking past her towards your locker.
"you sure, y/n," she walked towards you again, "it's okay if you're not, I know a mission like this can bring up things," she said trying to comfort you. You looked at her catching the genuineness in her eyes, stirring up those school girl butterflies.
"Yeah, I'm all good," you answered grabbing your usual knives and gadgets, "just a little nervous."
"I get it," she said going to her own locker beside you, "I wouldn't worry, we're in this together." You smiled at her cheesiness but deep down it did help lift you a little. This was the kindness you were talking about, she could be so understanding, and sweet; the great black widow, all sweet to you in private. Maybe it wasn't weakness she brought out of you.
"Destination, in ten minutes," FRIDAY announced.
"I'll land us," you said walking past Nat and into the cockpit.
The perimeter had already been infiltrated by another SHIELD unit, and a map of the facilities layout was processed with key points of interest highlighted. Natasha and you made your way up to the roof so she could access the security measures.
"Watch it," you pulled Nat back by the arm nodding down to a pressure alarm, "don't be so distracted," you commented off handedly.
"excuse me," she scoffed, "let's not talk about what happened in training today," she teased.
Ouch. You dropped her arm,rolled your eyes and looked away shamefulâŠstubborn and prideful, "just cut the alarms already," you whispered. Natasha smirked going to the panel and connecting a small screen (another SHIELD you don't really know about), she's able to disable the security systems and time your guys entry perfectly.
"Okay check comms," Nat said quietly, checking the comms this is where the two of you split up. Natasha is to the control room to download and wipe the data, while you make it down to the labs to destroy the serum and plant the bombs.
"How's it going," you check in less than 2 minutes later. You've always gotten anxious on missions with the team, fearing any mistakes, fearing losing control; Hydra taking you again. With Nat it was ten times worse.
"Don't worry bout me, soldier," she laughed softly with a teasing tone, "focus on your mission, we'll be out soon."
"Yes, ma'am," you anxiously laughed, Nat on the other end flushing at the title.
In the control room Natasha watched the data download with only thoughts of you, it was getting bad. The flirting had started because of a physical attraction to you, your frame, your style, then it was your humor, your kindness, your awkward laugh, your belly laugh, that stupid smile, everything. Nat's daydreaming was cut off by rushed footsteps in the hall. Looking at the camera she had set up at the door she saw a squad of Hydra agents marching towards the room.
"Shit," she mumbled," Y/n, we have a -."
"Are you okay," you cut her off.
"Just get done fast, I have a squad advancing on me" she stated.
"I'm all done here, I'm--," you were cut off by the door to the labs being kicked down and flying across the room.
"What was that, are you okay," Nat asked as she finished up her task and deleting the files.
"Made contact with the enhanced," you said getting into a fighting position, as alarms began to sound.
"It'll be okay," Nat said, "we'll meet at the emergency randevu."
The enhanced made eye contact with you moving mechanically towards you like a brute, "Let's see which model's better now," you mumbled walking towards the danger.
The Prototype charged first, moving with surprising speed for its size. You dodged to the side, narrowly avoiding a crushing blow that dented the metal floor. You countered with a swift punch to the Prototype's ribs, but it barely flinched, retaliating with a backhand that sent you sprawling. The two super-soldiers exchanged a flurry of blows, each strike resonating with power, but the Prototypeâs resilience and raw power were relentless. It landed a solid punch to your side, sending you crashing into a lab table. Shattered glass and spilled chemicals hissed around you as you struggled to your feet.
Why the fuck was the model so strong. The Prototype loomed over you, ready to deliver a finishing blow. Summoning all your strength, You caught the descending fist in your own, muscles straining against the force. With a roar, you twisted the Prototype's arm, using its momentum to flip it over your shoulder and into a bank of computers. The impact shattered the screens and sent sparks flying as you pulled out a knife and stabbed the prototype only feeling it cut into metal. This thing wasn't a person anymore.
The Prototype snarled, grabbing your arm and pulling you into a headbutt. Stars exploded in your vision, but you fought through the pain, kicking the Prototypeâs knee again, this time hearing a satisfying crunch. Breathing heavily, you didnât let up. You charged at the downed Prototype, delivering a series of rapid punches to its torso and face.
The Prototype faltered, its movements becoming more erratic. You saw your opening, grabbed a heavy metal rod from the debris and swung it with all you might, connecting with the side of the Prototype's head. The force of the blow sent it crashing to the ground, where it laid, unconscious.
Standing admist the wreckage trying to catch your breath, you heard an "Ahem," making you jump.
"Shit," You breathed looking at Nat in the door way, "you said meet at the randevu point" you stated.
"sorry," she smiled walking over to you and cupping your face scanning you for any damage, only to see a cut lip and you clutching your rib "looking good soldier," she teased as she scanned back up to your face catching you staring, straight back at her and glancing down to her lips, you immediately flushed, backing away.
The roof further collapsed behind you, âwe have to go, I've already planted the bombsâ you said grabbing her arm and pulling her towards the exit. Making it towards the facilities garage waves of Hydra operatives began to emerge.
"Shit," Nat mumbled pulling you guys back behind a wall and coming face to face, smiling at the proximity.
"Stop it," you said stepping back, "you can't keep distracting me like this."
"I don't know what your talking about," Nat smirked teasing as Hydra agents were frantically looking all around for you.
"I'm not doing this here," you stated firmly, "what do you even get out of it,â you question furthered almost exhausted. Nat pitied you in this moment, she hadnât realized how mad she was driving you, her face softened.
"They're over here," your head's both shot to down the halls were the Hydra operatives began rushing in.
"letâs go," Natasha said grabbing your hand and booked it the other way.
Making it to the garage and pushing a crate in front of the door, Natasha had time to hijack a Hydra truck right before the doors flew open, "GO!" you shouted slamming the driver side shut and kicking a hydra agent across the room.
"Wait!" Nat shouted trying to open the door again as you pushed it shut once more.
"Just go! I'll meet you at the jet," you yelled taking out another knife.
Natasha forced herself to slam on the gas leaving you to hold off the agents. With them being unenhanced hydra cockroaches it wasn't too bad theyâre was just so many of them, itâd been awhile since youâve seen this many agents in one place. As you were throwing them and slamming them to the floor, the bombs you had planted went off in the lab went off, the building shook and flames set. The explosion allowed three agents the time to make off on motorcycles straight in Natâs directions.
âNo,â you muttered under your breath, hurling one last agent to the ground, as more of the building began to collapse, you launched into a full sprint across the Siberian snow. Your breath crystallized in the frigid air as you dodged through the trees, eyes locked on motorcycles speeding ahead. Spotting a fallen log, you seized the opportunity, using it as a makeshift ramp to propel yourself through the air. You crashed into one of the riders, sending him tumbling into the snow and commandeering his bike in one fluid motion.
Accelerating hard, you leaned low over the handlebars, feeling the icy wind whip against your face. The roar of the engine drowned out the chaos behind you as you closed in on the next target. With a quick flick of your wrist, you deployed a zip-line hook from your gauntlet, the steel cable slicing through the air and embedding itself in the frame of the bike ahead.
You toggled the slack, your muscles coiling with anticipation. At just the right moment, you yanked hard, the sudden tension in the line allowed you to throw the motorcycle and its rider careening off course. They collided with the other bike in a spectacular crash, the two vehicles intertwining and skidding across the snow in a shower of sparks and shrapnel.
Glancing over your shoulder, you saw the base in the distance, its structure collapsing floor by floor in a series of detonations. The ground trembled beneath you, the sound of destruction echoing in the frozen wilderness. You didn't slow down. There was no time to celebrate. You didnât know if they were going to follow or not and you had to get Nat out of there.
Unbeknownst to you Natasha had witnessed the whole thing and was absolutely craving you at this point. She knew she needed you. She arrived at the Quinn jet shortly before you, jumping out the car, and immediately going to check on you.
âAre you okay,â she asked urgently grabbing your shoulders and trying to scan for any injuries before you gently pushed her hands off of you
âLetâs just get in the air,â you spoke grabbing her wrist and pulling her into the jet. You walked straight to the pilot seat and got you guys in the air. Setting it on auto pilot, Nat could sense the frustration radiating off of you. You walked right past her and into the medical area.
âDo you need any help?â She asked, as you turned your back to her and took of your mission gear leaving you in a white beater.
âNo, Iâm just bruised,â you said flatly as blood bled through your shirt revealing a long gash as well, âshit,â you mumbled.
âthatâs not just a bruise,â she joked trying to lighten your mood
âi can see that can you just give me some space,â you snapped at her.
âokay, whatâs the problem,â Nat asked walking up to you with a purpose and pulling your shoulder to make you face her
âjust back off,â you said shrugging her hand off you and walking past her. You took your beater off completely and walked towards the bandages.
âitâs gonna need sti..â
âitâs not,â you cut her off, âi heal fast remember,â you opened up the sterile wipes cleaning the wound and flushing it with one of the sterile saline solutions. You gritted your teeth with pain from the wound and felt her eyes bore into your every move; it made you nervous. You reached for sterile pads to quickly knocking over a trey and hissing in pain.
âSit down,â she said sternly. Rolling your eyes you did what was told, sitting down you raised your arm up allowing her access to pat dry the wound with sterile pads and get fresh bandages. She watched your abs flex and adjust with every move, every breath. You watched closely what her hands were doing avoiding looking at her face, âthere,â she smoothed the bandage over letting out a breath.
âthanks,â you mumbled walking toward your locker for a loose jacket.
ây/n,â she called out softly walking up to you as you ignored her, "can you stop being so childish."
"Me? Childish?" you scoffed at her and rolled your eyes, "you're the one who makes all these slutty comments and feels me up at every opportunity."
"Are you serious," her volume go louder, "your upset over me flirting with you."
"Natasha, we were on a mission, a dangerous one," you shouted, "and you still, took every chance you got. I mean seriously are you in heat or something!?"
Her face flushed, "wow I didn't know your ego could get this big, I'll give you credit," she scoffed
âthis isnât an ego thing, itâs obvious you want me to fuck you, you donât have to deny it, dont even try to,â you seethed stepping forward with practically every word, âi donât give a fuck about you constantly flirting with me like the slut you are, no matter how much I embarrass myself, I really donât fucking care, because I know you..you really just canât help itâ your voice dropped back to a civil level still carried with a stern sense of frustration, âI am upset because your distractions today couldâve genuinely cost us,â you stood up straight, âcost me.â
You were staring down right at her, your breaths brushed one anotherâs face, âwhat,â she whispered, âcost you what,â Nat pushed wanting to hear you say it.
âyou know what,â you whispered back looking to her lips and wetting your own.
âsay it, y/nâ she stared at your own lips.
âcost me you Nat,â you confirmed, your gaze going back to her eyes.
"I'm sorry," Nat whispered looking up at you. You broke the gaze dropping your head and closing your eyes taking a deep breath in.
"Do you even like me," you asked barely audible.
"What?" Nat laughed shocked.
"can you just answer the question, Natasha," you said looking back into her eyes, âdo you even like me, or I just something you desire.â
She could tell she was hurting you at this point, that you were genuinely upset. "Yeah," she mumbled dropping her gaze to her, hands she looked small, "I do."
You cupped her face, bring her gaze back to you, your eyes scanning over every little feature, "but you just want me to fuck you too," you whispered staring at her lips, "don't you."
"I do," she answered as your lips inched closer and closer.
"say it," you said over her lips, "tell me what you want, Natasha."
Her hands went to yours," I want.." she whispered getting closer to your lips, "I want you to fuck me, y/n" She looked up into your eyes, "please," A shit-eating grin came upon your face as one hand moved to loosely wrap around her neck and your lips finally slammed together. You roughly pushed Natasha against the other lockers causing her to let out the most wanton pornographic moan ever, fueling the pit in your stomach. Breaking apart, your hands dropped to her hips keeping her in her place as she chased after your lips for more," please, y/n, don't tease."
You laughed looking down at her already swollen lips and licking your own, "Please, Nat," you said getting closer to her lips again, "I'm going to do whatever I want after all this shit you've pulled." Your lips went to the column of her neck, resulting in more of her pretty sounds and her hands in your hair. Your hands dropped lower towards the back of her thighs giving a light pull, she immediately jumped to wrap them around you. Your lips moved back to hers, kissing passionately, you swiped your tongue across her bottom lip, her own tongue pushing into your mouth as her hips moved in search of friction. You pulled the two of you away from the wall and carried her with ease to the medical bed not once breaking the kiss.
You placed her gently on her back, crawling over her, and moving your lips back to her neck. You bit marks into what was finally yours, as your hand moved to pull down the zipper on the front of her suit, "is this okay," you asked.
Nat smiled as her hips lifted towards you and her hands went further into your hair, "more than okay," she breathed, "I'm yours," she whispered across your lips, "and I want you to do whatever you want to me," she looked into your eyes pupils completely blown. Your lips locked in another passionate kiss, this time brief. Each touch caused shivers through Nat, her breath hitching in anticipation as you pulled the zipper down further and pulled the suit from her body, exposing her skin inch by inch.
"You're so beautiful," you murmured, sitting up and taking in her disheveled look as she lay in her bra and underwear.
"Take this off," she unzipped your jacket and pushed it off your shoulders. Hands scratching over your abs and back to your hair as she pulled you back into another kiss. Both breathing heavy and desperate your lips moved back to trail down Natasha's neck, leaving a path of more marks. When you finally reached Natasha's chest, your hand wrapped around to unclip her bra, your mouth immediately latching onto her nipple earning a gasp from Nat, "Y/n please," she whimpered, hands tugging in your hair to pull you closer. With a growl of need, you continued your descent, your mouth leaving a burning trail down Natasha's stomach. Kissing lightly above her underwear, you locked eye for further permission at which Nat nodded eagerly too, hooking your fingers in her underwear, Natasha's eyes fluttered shut, her hips lifting urging you to move faster.
Pulling her underwear off, Nat's core glistened with need. You couldn't help but smirk and kiss around the place she needed you most. You spread her legs wider, hands gripping her thighs firmly, as you littered love bits all over them, "Please, Y/n, I'm begging you," she moaned as you ghosted over her clit again.
The great Black Widow begging. You didn't waste another second, your mouth latched on to her core, tongue flicking out to taste what was finally yours. Natasha cried out, her back arching off the bed, causing you to moan into her core, and her to thrash more. You forced her hips down with more strength bound to leave bruises after. Your tongue moved expertly, alternating between teasing flicks and deep rough strokes. Natasha's moans gre louder, her hands pulling desperately at your hair. "Oh god, Y/n," she gasped, her body trembling.
Your grip tightened on Natasha's thighs, holding her in place further as you increased your pace. Tongue delving deeper, your mouth worked Natasha closer and closer to the edge. Natasha's moans turned into invoherent cries from the stimulation, her body writhing beneath you.
"Go ahead," you mumbled, " come for me, pretty girl," the vibrations sent Natasha over the edge as she screamed your name, her body convulsing as waves of pleasure crashed over her.
You didn't stop, your mouth continuing to work Natasha through her orgasm until she was a trembling, breathless mess. Only then did you pull back, lips glistening with Natasha's arousal. You crawled back up her body, capturing her lips in a searing kiss.
"your mine," you whispered against her lips, "as I am yours."
Natasha nodded weakly, giving a blissful smile, her eyes glazed with satisfaction. "Always," she answered, hand still tangled in your hair.

Arcane x Ransom! Reader
Summary: How would the Arcane characters react if the reader was held for ransom?
Characters: Jinx/Powder, Violet "Vi", Caitlyn Kiramman, Viktor, Jayce Talis, Sevika, Silco and Licker (mention).
Warning: Slight cursing and suggestive themes/implied sexual themes.
A/N: I literally got the idea for this request from Helluva Boss, particular episode 6 of season 2. I hope you all enjoy this though, I know I did!
Powder/Jinx
âYou have who?! Where are they?!⊠You want me to pay you for them? Oh Iâll pay you alright!â
Jinx doesnât take the idea of you getting hurt lightly. She already is super overprotective of her little trinket, so when she heard that you were being held for a price, she wasted no time grabbing Pow-Pow, Zapper and a bunch of chompers to aid her in her âheroic rescueâ for her princess/prince. As soon as she is where you are held, you donât have to see her to know sheâs there for you. Donât expect any talking, just laughter and hollers followed by gunfire, screams for mercy and explosions.
Before you know it, the Loose Cannon is standing in front of you, pulling you into the tightest hug ever and dressing your face with kisses. She will ask you countless questions while freaking out, beating herself up over you being in such a position. But when she feels you touch her and assure her youâre okay, sheâs on cloud nine. As soon as she laces the area with bombs to blow it to kingdom come, sheâs back at her hideout, being super affectionate and touchy the entire night. Donât expect anyone to be touching you for months unless they want their head blown off.
Violet âViâ
â⊠What?⊠You⊠You just pissed off the wrong woman.â
First word that you were kidnapped, Vi wasted no time hunting your captors down and beating them to a bloody pulp. The woman is like a bull seeing red knowing you were somewhere cold and scared away from home and her arms. So until you were back to her, anyone was able to get a personal greeting from the pink haired fighter. Vi is pretty merciful, but in situations like this, she isnât afraid to push the envelope by giving life threatening injuries to the bastards that hurt you.
When she found you, she didnât bother asking any questions or giving any money to your kidnappers, unless they counted a mouthful of fists and kicks as payment enough. When sheâs done with her punishment, sheâll immediately scoop you into her arms and take the both of you back home, where she checks you for injuries and asks if you are okay. Please comfort her. She may act all tough and cool, but the situation scared her due to thinking she lost you just like everyone else. As soon as she knows you are alright, sheâll promise no one will ever do that to you again.
Caitlyn Kiramman
âYou kidnapped Y/N? Why would- Who do you think you are? You better let them go right now!â
Caitlyn was used to people being kidnapped on the job, having to save them or negotiate with criminals for their safety. But she would have never imagined such a thing happening to you of all people. When she was told you were being held for ransom, she understandably panicked before taking deep breaths and thinking of how to get you back to her. The enforcer can easily scrounge up the money for you to be freed, because you were more important than any coin that reaches her pockets.
So when she arranges a meeting with your kidnappers and finds you so scared, she finds it hard to stop herself from grabbing you and making a run for it. If the kidnappers pull a fast one on her though, all bets are off and bullets are flying. When she has you back, she will watch you like a hawk and be on the defensive for a while. But if you assure her enough that you are okay, she will lighten up. On the bright side, after the incident sheâs more romantic and spends more time with you in and out of work.
Viktor
âLook, Iâm sure we can talk about this. Iâll get you the money, just. Please donât hurt themâŠâ
Viktor beat himself up when he heard you were taken away from him for monetary purposes. He just doesnât understand how he would let this happen- How he would let someone easily take you under his nose and put you in harmâs way?! He couldâve waddled in his sorrows, but he couldnât. He had to save you and he had to act fast! It would hurt him, but he would ask for assistance from Jayce and the council if he can. And if they canât help him? Well. Maybe it was time to break out those so-called dangerous machines Heimerdinger warned him against using.
When he finds you, heâs wasting no time trying to negotiate a way around matters so you could be freed. And if those negotiations donât go according to plan, then heâll use his machinery and his brain to outsmart the criminals into freeing you. When you are back together, heâll just. Hold you. Like you are a precious gemstone. Heâll promise you this will never happen again. No one will ever lay their hands on you againâŠ
Jayce Talis
âIs this supposed to scare me? If anything, you should be the one scared- Do you know who I am?!â
Jayce does not take threats lightly, especially when it comes to his family, friends and his loved ones. As soon as he was told you were held for Ransom, he let his anger and determination to get you back fuel him to do anything to send a message and bring you back to safety. You will immediately know your boyfriend got the message because in a matter of hours, enforcers are barging into the area you were held like they were entering a war, shooting, punching and slamming anyone who got in their way from their goal; You.
And Jayce is in the middle of it all, swinging his hammer without remorse before running to your rescue as your knight in shining armor. As soon as you grab his hand, heâs walking you back to his place casually through the enforcers destroying everything in their sights and leaving a message for the assholes that took you; Never. Ever. Touch the councilmanâs lover. Donât expect to go anywhere without guards following you if Jayce isnât, whether you want to or not. Jayce just canât take the chance for you to be taken again. Is it extreme? Yes. But it was worth it.
Sevika
âRansom? Seriously? Please, thatâs nothing. And Iâm about to show you why.â
When it comes to ransom, Sevika wasnât new to having her friends or past lovers be kidnapped for money. So when she heard you were being held hostage, she casually grabbed her poncho, fixed her arm for a brawl and headed outside to round her co-workers up. When she found you and the ones that took you, she wasted no time kicking in the doors and sicking her co-workers on everyone before she made her way towards you after knocking some skulls in. Sheâll ask if you are okay and especially check you for any injuries before grabbing you and joking how you found yourself in this predicament.
The fight rages on as soon as she places you outside for safety. Saving you wasnât enough. No, she needed everyone to know that when someone messes with you, they have to deal with her and the rest of Zaun. When everything is over and done, Sevika will take you both back home and treat any injuries you want before kissing your cheek and simply talking as if you werenât kidnapped to begin with. If you think she doesnât care, then hoo boy. The way sheâll treat you that night in bed will make you think otherwise.
Silco
âHmm⊠If I were you, Iâd beg for mercy when I get thereâŠâ
Silco is never one to be threatened because heâs always the one making the threats. Hearing about you being held for Ransom made him immediately go on the move to round up Sevika to follow him in bringing you back to him. If he gets there and doesnât find you anywhere, he will deliver a silent signal to bring the house down. But if you are present, then he wonât need violence to be delivered by his Right Hand. Heâll just need to put the fear of gods into your kidnapper.
Heâll paint them a picture of how heâll find their families and let them listen to the melody of their bones breaking. How heâll have Licker carve paintings into their bodies and let them choke on their own blood as they beg for mercy. What do they think of that? They wouldnât like that at all. As a matter of fact, they would hate it so much that they would release you and fade from existence right there. As soon as you are back to Silco, heâs going to take you back home as if this was only a minor inconvenience. But as soon as you two are behind closed doors, he canât help from keeping his hands to himself and make promises against your skin.

My Alpha
This is kind of a long one shot (5619 words!), but I thought I'd try my hand at the ABO!/Omegaverse. Hope you like it!
Being an omega wasnât always a bad thing. At least thatâs what she told herself repeatedly as she religiously took hormone blocking birth control pills and wore scent blockers on the daily. Y/N hadnât had a heat in years and wasnât planning on letting up any time soon. She had started working as a personal assistant for the Avengers under Tony Stark years before, going through the Sokovia Accords debacle, surviving the Blip, losing Natasha, Tony, Steve, T'Challa, and all the other strange and traumatic things that happened during her tenure. She had denied her biology to get this job, not wanting it to affect her performance or be a target while being surrounded by literal super Alphas in this field. And as hard as the job was, she loved it.
One of the greatest highlights was gaining Bucky Barnes as a friend. While other Alphas she had come across were domineering, he was compassionate and kind. He very rarely lost his composure like others did during high pressure situations in missions, and never fought over who was in charge. He was incredibly careful to make sure everyone around him felt comfortable in his presence. After finally shaking the Winter Soldier programming he didnât want to ever lose control of himself again, and with the super soldier serum messing with his hormones to the extent that he was nearly feral during ruts, he would isolate himself away to keep her and others safe. Â
Y/N felt like she could talk to him about anything, and he felt the same. She was his sanctuary after rough missions, one of the few people that could break him out of a deep depressive state or the nightmares that still plagued him. He knew she was an Omega but could barely smell her because of her blockers, which he both loved and hated. Loved because it made it so they could be friends without the weird biological dynamics getting in the way, and hated because he was super curious about what her scent was. They had fallen for each other long ago, but were both too afraid to do anything about it.
As they both relaxed during a rare weekend off they got on the topic of Omega versus Alpha traits. âI get it, Alphas can be rough, but donât you want to mate someday? Find someone special to settle down with? Maybe have a family?â
She sighed. âOf course I do, Buck.â
âThen what are you afraid of?â he asked gently.
âNot having a clear choice,â she answered simply, giving him a sharp look. âI donât want my biology to decide my fate. So many Omegas get stuck being mated with bad Alphas because their heats were uncontrollable and the Alpha wouldnât take no for an answer. I know that Iâm predestined to be a nurturer. Hell, thatâs what my job is now, taking care of all of you guys! But I should get to choose who I end up with based on love, not by bodyâs reactions.â Bucky nodded in understanding, looking down at his intertwined hands. âDo you want to settle down someday?â
âYeah,â he said quietly. âI just donât know how it would work out. This jobâŠmy past. It all points towards disaster at any given time.â
She slid over to him, wrapping her arms around his shoulders awkwardly as she sat next to him. âYou deserve a happy ever after, Bucky.â
âYou do, too, you know,â he reminded her, resting his head on top of hers.
âMmh, maybe someday,â she said wistfully as she undid her embrace and leaned back against the couch.
âSo, anyways,â he cleared his throat. âIs it true that Omegas have a better sense of smell than Alphas or Betas? Like you can pick up on othersâ scents and identify them really well?â
She laughed. âYes, itâs true.â
âReally? Okay, what doesâŠâ he scanned the room as other Avengers milled in and out. âPeter. What does Spidey smell like?â He tested her, watching her expectantly.
She took a look at Peter across the room, her nose slightly flaring as she took in a whiff from his direction. âHe always smells like fresh bagels to me. You know the smell of just-baked bread? Kinda like that. Mixed with a little bit of hazelnut.â
Bucky looked at her in awe. âYeah I kinda get that off of him. Alphas can smell and track scents but not to that level.â
âHm, thatâs interesting,â she said as her eyebrows furrowed. Â
âNow how about Sam?â he asked excitedly, hoping it would be something not so pleasant he could tease him about.
âHa, Sam is Cajun seasoning with a sweet lemony undertone. Like really well done seafood,â she answered quickly with a smile on her face, knowing Bucky would be disappointed in that answer.
Bucky frowned as he thought about who to ask of next. âOkay, how aboutâŠSteve?â He knew it was a long shot. Steve had been gone for a few years now, so she probably wouldnât remember. But she gave him a soft smile.
âSteve was smoky, like fireworks. A summer night that ends with warm apple crisp and melting vanilla ice cream on top,â she said as she stared out the window, a dazed look in her eyes as she remembered him.
âWowâŠâ Bucky whispered. âI always got the fireworks, and something like a picnic. But now that you say it, yeah, apple with vanilla.â
âYep, he was truly all American,â she winked at him.
He laughed as he turned towards her on the couch. âHow about, umâŠme?â
She gazed at him, her expression softening as her nose flared again and she huffed out the breath sheâd taken. âSmoky, like Steve, but different.â
âLike gunpowder?â he asked suddenly, his eyes searching hers. He had been told that before and was hoping they were wrong.
âNo, not gunpowder. More likeâŠâ she sniffed again but frowned. âDo you mind if IâŠ?â she gestured her finger from herself to him.
âYeah, go ahead,â he said, opening himself up for her to scoot closer to him. She leaned in towards his neck, the best place to scent someone, and breathed in a slow sniff of him. She closed her eyes.
âCampfire. A campfire on the beach. And the smell of the ocean after it rains,â she said resolutely, opening her eyes to look at him. Their faces were close as he stared at her. âBut no, not gunpowder,â she reassured him.
âThatâs good,â he breathed, his eyes shifting from her eyes down to her lips and back.
Her eyes suddenly widened, her brow furrowing and she pulled herself away quickly. âI, umâŠI need to goâŠexcuse me,â she said hurriedly before she jumped off the couch and power-walked down the hall towards her room.
âWait, Y/N, are you okay?â Bucky stood from the couch as he watched her leave.
âYeah! Iâll talk to you later!â she yelled back without looking, her voice sounded strained.
âWhat the hell?â he asked himself quietly, looking around him like something had jumped out and spooked her.
Once she was out of sight she ran to her room and had Friday bolt the door. She doubled over in pain and clutched her stomach. âNo way,â she moaned as she reached for her phone and called for help.
âHey you, how are ya?â Bruce asked when he answered the call.
âBruce,â her voice was pained as she held in another moan. âI need help, somethingâs wrong.â
âWhat? Whatâs going on?â he sounded worried, the rustling of papers and beeping from a screen by him going off.
âIt feelsâŠlike a heat? But thatâs not possible, right? We made sure of it,â she grunted as another cramp shot through her abdomen, and just as suddenly as it all started, it suddenly stopped, leaving her gasping. âWait, now it stopped? What the hell is happening?â
âCome down to the lab, right now. Weâll get you tested.â
She didnât need to be told twice as she hung up and crept out of her room towards the elevator. She was able to get in and down to the lab a few floors away without being caught by Bucky or anybody else. She ran into the lab in a panic. Bruce was already setting up the medical bay in the back with everything needed to do a check-up, some vials next to the other instruments.
âHey, letâs take some blood and see whatâs going on,â he called out to her when he heard the doors slide open. She jogged to the bed and hopped up on it, taking off her cardigan so he could access the veins in her arm better. After a quick routine check up he took a few vials of her blood then stepped out towards all the equipment he had for medical and scientific tests. Â
He worked silently as she sat there deep in thought. It canât be, she tried to reassure herself. Iâve been so careful. Not missed a single pill ever. This canât be happening. After about an hour Bruce came back with a screen in his hand, his eyebrows hung low over his eyes and a frown on his face.
âY/N, itâsâŠitâs not working anymore,â he said softly, his eyes sad and confused as he looked at her.
âWhat do you mean?â she asked hesitantly, her eyes widening.
âThe hormone blockers, the pillsâŠyour body isnât responding to them anymore. Your hormones are syncing back to normal Omega levels. Your heats are going to come back.â
âNo, no no no no noâŠNO Bruce! I canât. Please, thereâs gotta be another pill to try, a shot, an implant, something? Anything, please?â she began to cry. Â
âIâm sorry Y/N. We already got you the best blockers that are available out there. If your body is weaning off of them it means your biology is taking over, probably because youâre getting older and itâs fighting back to have a chance at mating. Iâm so sorry,â he showed her the hormone levels on a chart on the screen, pointing out the differences and then setting it down. âThereâs nothing I can do. Nothing you can do but prepare yourself for it to start again. And your first one is probably going to be brutal after avoiding them for so long. Youâll need helpââ
âNO! No, I canât do this. I canât ask some random Alpha for help. This isnât fair!â she cried harder, hiding her face in her hands. Bruce patted her on the back, trying to help ease her pain by giving off a calming scent. He was also an Omega and knew how much this meant to her. Â
âIt will be alright, Y/N. You have friends here who will help you without making it awkward between you and them, or wonât immediately try mating with you during your heat. Theyâre good Alphas. They wonât hurt you or take advantage of you,â he promised.
She tried to calm the loud beating of her heart that was wringing in her ears, a panic attack trying to settle deep in her bones that she was fighting back. âHow long do I have until it comes?â she sighed as she sniffled.
âI donât know, Iâm sorry. With it being so long since you last had one it could be next week or it could be in a couple of months,â he answered gravely.
âUgh, great,â she laughed as she wiped her tears away. âNo choice, whatsoever. My body ultimately got to decide for me after all. Wonderful,â she spat as she jumped down off the bed. âThank you, Bruce, for testing. I justâŠI need to go sleep this off, I donât know,â she said, giving him a quick hug and then leaving the lab. Â
She took the elevator back up to her floor, her eyes stinging from the hot tears still slowly falling down. Her heat was coming back, and with a vengeance. She would need help. Who would she ask? Any of the unmated superhero Alphas would probably say yes, though she knew she only wanted one. But how could she ask this of him? And if he did help, how could she go on with their friendship as if nothing had happened between them afterwards?
The elevator opened and she trudged into the common room. The floor was already dark as twilight set in and everyone had split off to their rooms. She slipped into the kitchen since she missed dinner while down in the lab to grab something to eat, although she wasnât particularly hungry. As she made herself a sandwich she turned to grab a knife then saw a figure in the corner at the dining table.
âJesus! Fuck, Bucky you scared me,â she gasped, holding a hand over her heart.
âSorry, honey,â he grunted as he sat watching her. âWhy are you crying?â
She stiffened as she looked at him, trying to act nonchalant as she grabbed the knife and turned back to her sandwich. âIâm not, Iâm just tired,â she waved him off, quickly cutting the sandwich and putting the ingredients and dishes away to escape.
âDonât lie to me Y/N. Whatâs wrong?â he stood, walking towards her. She reached for the refrigerator door to get a drink, which he quickly shut and stared her down. She wouldnât look him in the eye.
âCome on Buck, I just need a drink,â she complained as she tried to open the door again, reaching for the handle. Bucky grabbed her wrist firmly and leaned in towards her.
âWhatâs wrong Y/N? You ran away earlier and now you smellâŠoff,â he said, searching her eyes as his nose flared at the scent she was radiating. His frown deepened and his eyes looked worried. âWhy are you afraid? Was it me? Did I do something wrong?â
âNo! Oh no, Bucky, itâs not you,â she said, her eyes widening. âItâs me, itâs justâŠâ her eyes welled up with tears again, spilling onto her cheeks as she sucked in a sharp breath. âItâs me,â she sobbed, leaning forward til her forehead rested against his chest.
âOh honey,â Bucky sighed. He put his hands under her armpits and lifted her onto the counter so she was eye level with him. She wrapped her arms around his neck and hid her face in his shoulder, crying harder as he enveloped her, his hands rubbing up and down her back as he whispered reassuring words to her. They sat holding each other for a while, Bucky letting her cry it out and Y/N relishing the comfort. As her cries died down and her grip loosened around his neck he pulled back.
âTell me whatâs wrong, please? Youâre breaking an old manâs heart,â he pleaded, hating to see her hurting so much.
Y/N chuckled at him calling himself an old man as she wiped her nose with her sleeve. Bucky held her face in his hands and wiped her tears away with his thumbs. She let herself enjoy his touch before she sniffled and finally looked up at him.
âWhen I was talking to you earlier, I felt this weird pain,â she explained quietly. Bucky nodded, listening intently as he held her face still. âThatâs why I ran out. I went to Bruceâs lab to test me because it felt likeâŠlike a heat,â she sniffled again, looking down at her lap. Bucky nodded again, his hands releasing her face and reaching for her hands to hold. âI havenât had one in years.â This surprised him. He knew there were new ways of birth control for Omegas now, giving them a lot more options than to just mate and reproduce and take care of their Alphas and pups like the old days, which he thought was great. He just didnât realize it could be for so long. âAnd now, apparently, the hormone blockers arenât working anymore,â she gripped his fingers tightly. âMy body is rejecting them, weaning off of them and reverting back to normal hormone levels. My heat is coming,â she sucked in another sharp breath. âI donât know when, but he said itâs going to be brutal since Iâve been avoiding them for so long. He said Iâll need help andâŠand I donât know what to do.â Her voice shook as she looked up at him again. âIâm scared,â she whispered.
Bucky could feel her panic and gave off what he hoped was a calming scent. It seemed to help as her eyes fluttered shut and her shoulders visibly relaxed. The Alpha in him hummed in satisfaction as he swept his thumbs over her knuckles. âYou donât need to be scared, Y/N. Itâs going to be okay,â he tried to placate her. âListen, I know earlier you said you wanted a choice, and now your bodyâs not giving you one.â She nodded, a few more tears slipping out the sides of her eyes. âIâŠI can help you,â he said, gulping back the lump in his throat. Her eyes snapped up to him, a look of shock on her face. âI know that Iâm offering something kinda crazy. But I promise you I wonât hurt you, I wonât make you court me if you donât want to, and I wonât forcibly mate with you.â He looked her deep in her eyes to try to get her to understand. âBut Iâd be honored to help you.â
Y/N couldnât quite believe what she was hearing. She had wanted to ask him and now he was offering himself for her to get through this first heat. She licked her lips and contemplated it. âI just donât want it to ruin our friendship,â she sniffed again, her eyes searching his face for hesitation.
âIt wonât,â he said earnestly. Â
â...Okay,â she agreed. Â
Bucky smiled as he squeezed her fingers. âOkay.â
âThank you, Bucky. Youâre a good Alpha,â she thanked him, lifting his hands up and kissing his knuckles.
His eyes fluttered shut and he cleared his throat. âYou should probably not call me that, at least not right now.â
Her eyes widened. âOh! God, Iâm sorry. I didnât meanââ
âItâs okay, honey, itâs fine,â he chuckled. âWhenever it hits you, just call me, and Iâll be there.â
She gave him a warm smile in appreciation. They were playing with fire, and they both knew it deep down, but were denying it heavily.
***
Y/N could feel her hormones changing her body and mind. Bruce had advised against wearing scent blockers as well to help her body fully adjust and hopefully not cause as much pain during her upcoming heat, and that was the first thing she noticed. The Alphas around her, who would normally just give her a friendly greeting or a smile, now watched her hungrily through narrow eyes, giving tight smiles as their noses flared as she passed by. It made her self-conscious enough to ask Bucky one day, âDo I smell bad?â
Bucky looked away from the book he was reading as she plopped next to him on the couch in the common room again, lifting her feet up to rest on his lap. She was touching him a lot more lately. âWhat do you mean?â
âDo I smell bad? Omegas canât really smell themselves very well, and since I took off the scent blockers Iâve beenâŠwatched,â she looked around the room warily. Buckyâs eyes swept across the other Alphas in the room, noting how they were all giving off territorial scents as they tracked her. He sat up straight, facing each one until they caught his eye and gave off a warning rumble deep in his chest, his eyes flashing dangerously. They each quickly retreated, shamefully turning back towards their previous tasks. The air around Y/N seemed to lift and she felt like she could breathe again. âThank you, Bucky.â
He sat back on the couch, grabbing his book with one hand and mindlessly rubbing her feet with the other. âNo need to thank me, honey. And no, you donât smell bad. You smell like chai.â
âChai?â Y/N scoffed.
âYeah, chai withâŠâ he reached a hand out and grabbed her wrist, bringing it up to his nose and inhaling deeply. Her eyes widened comically at his brashness in scenting her so publicly. âPumpkin. Chai and pumpkin. Like Autumn,â he concluded, setting her wrist down and then rubbing her feet again. He said it so casually that she just stared at him dumbfounded. Â
It got worse as the weeks went on. Her emotions were haywire, one minute she was calm and cool and the next she was agitated and easily crying at anything. She was nesting anxiously, rearranging her room and her desk in her office, constantly carrying around a large fuzzy cardigan or blanket with her. Her joints were sore, especially in her hips. She found herself eating all the time. Bruce had her come down to the lab each week to check her levels, each time warning her it could happen any day now. Â
A month and a half later on a Friday night the team got together for a movie night. They decided on watching the first Avatar, a movie Bucky hadnât yet seen. As it played Y/N kept fidgeting next to him, adjusting her sitting position, wringing her hands in her lap, taking deep breaths periodically. A scene began of two of the characters connecting in a tree garden and Sam yelled out, âAlien tree sex!â Everyone laughed but Y/N bolted out of the room. Bucky watched her run down to her room and shut her door.
He quietly got up and followed her. He could tell just by her scent changing these last few weeks and how it was getting stronger, the chai smell getting spicier, that her heat was fast approaching. She had been very touchy with him, following him around and staying close whenever they were in the same room. He had no claim to her, but it was evident to everyone to stay away from her, otherwise theyâd get a growl from him. He was growing more excited by the day, trying to remind himself that he was just helping out a friend, not staking any claim or bond. Â
When he reached her door he pressed his ear against it, listening for her. He heard her heart rate picking up and her breathing became labored. He could also smell her, more potent, spicy, the scent of unmated Omega making his hormones sing and call out for her. A deep rumble emitted from his chest as he felt his cock hardening. He knocked on her door.
âY/N,â he called out, just loud enough for her to hear. A soft moan came from the other side. His eyelids shut tight at the sound. It was time. âIâm coming in,â he warned before opening the door. He stepped inside and was hit with the scent full force, making his eyes and mouth water simultaneously. Y/N was laying in the nest she built on her bed in the fetal position, one hand on her stomach and the other in between her legs, not yet touching herself but keeping pressure against her core. âHoneyâŠâ he groaned as he locked the door behind himself and walked towards the bed.
âAlpha,â she breathed, her brow furrowed and eyes shut tight. A cramp wracked through her whole body and she yelped in pain. âItâs starting. It hurtsâŠhurts so bad,â she cried as she could feel a small gush of slick pour from her pussy as her body recognized the Alpha in the room.
âItâs gonna be okay, honey, Iâm here,â he cooed at her, reaching his hand out and running his fingers along her leg from her ankle to her thigh. âLetâs get you out of these, huh?â he said while lifting the hem of her shorts up slightly. She nodded and blindly started pulling at her clothes. Bucky helped her strip out of her layers then undressed himself, giving her naked body an appreciative glance. He lay behind her on the bed, cocooning her in his arms and leaning his head into the crook of her neck and scenting her. He could feel himself getting drunk off of her heat. She was sending him into an early rut as his hips rocked against her ass slowly. Y/N keened at that, her back arching and pushing her ass into his crotch further. He moaned at the sensation, his arms tightening around her. âShh, Omega. I got you,â he said as his voice dropped further, the Alpha coming through more prominently now.
âBuckyâŠâ she sighed, her hands gripping his arms around her. âPleaseâŠAlpha please,â she begged, her legs shaking as another cramp hit her.
Bucky moaned at the sound of his name said that way coming from her lips. He started to lick and suck and kiss at the scent gland on her throat, making her gasp loudly. His scent mixed with hers, and they quickly got lost in each other. His hands found her breasts and massaged them firmly, his fingers tweaking her nipples and making her hips buck back into him again. He twisted her body around to face him. She quickly molded herself back to him, hiking her leg up and over his hip, her hands scratching down his chest. He tried to remind himself one last time that this was just a friend helping a friend. Then she kissed him.
The kiss broke the dam of hesitancy he was holding to desperately. He quickly responded, his mouth opening and their tongues tangling as they tasted each other. Bucky climbed on top of her, his knees forcing hers apart. His fingers probed her lower lips, finding her clit and giving it all his attention. Y/Nâs hips writhed as he riled her up. She watched his fingers dip into her, making her breath stutter. She was already dripping for him so he plunged two fingers into her, thrusting them in and out while his thumb rubbed and flicked her clit. Â
âFuck Alpha,â she groaned. âJust like that, shit!â
Bucky smiled as she cursed, her legs shaking against his. She reached down and took his cock in her hand, giving him lazy pumps as he got her closer to her release. He huffed a sharp breath. âDamn, honey, oooh thatâs good,â he said lowly. âGive it to me, love, come on, you can do it. Be such a good Omega for me,â he encouraged her as he curled his fingers as deep as he could reach. Â
The tension in her core finally snapped, her first orgasm ripping through her at lightning speed, squirting slick all over his hand and his hips. She let out a guttural moan, the sound reverberating through the air, making the Alpha inside of him scream to claim her. He had to physically restrain himself as he pulled his fingers out of her. She smiled as she watched him with hooded eyes. He put his wet fingers in his mouth and licked them clean of her slick, his eyes rolling back at the taste.
âAlpha please, I need you. Bucky, I want your big cock inside meâŠplease!â Y/N begged again. Normally it would embarrass her to be acting like this, she would have never dreamed of speaking to Bucky this way. But they were beyond the point of no return.
âCondom first, Omega,â he reminded her in his authoritative voice. âAs much as Iâd love to fill you up, I donât think thatâs what you want just yet.â
Y/N pouted, but the first orgasm had helped clear her brain a little bit, and pointed to the nightstand next to the bed. Bucky quickly reached over and pulled open the top drawer, finding the box and pulling a few of them out. He unwrapped one and slipped it on himself before settling back between her legs, backing up a little bit. âPresent, please, Omega.â
Y/N twisted herself onto her stomach, lifting her hips high and pressing the side of her face into the bed. Bucky almost whimpered at the sight of her sweet pussy, seeing the way he had made her drip with slick, the skin softly puckering in anticipation. âPrettiest pussy Iâve ever seen Y/N, goddamn,â he whispered huskily. She preened at his praise, her ass raising a little higher. He gave her ass a quick slap, making her yelp and shiver. âYou ready?â he asked, making sure she was still wanting this.
âYes, please Alpha, BuckyâŠplease!â
âYouâre so sexy when you beg,â he slapped her ass again, then grabbed her hips and aimed himself at her entrance. He slowly pushed in the tip of his cock, the fat head catching just past her lower lips, making them both groan. He kept pushing until he was fully seated inside her, letting her adjust to his size. Y/N was keening again, a high pitched tone ringing through the air. After a moment she wriggled her hips, silently asking him to thrust. A deep growl emanated from Buckyâs throat and he pulled back until it was just the tip inside, then snapped his hips back into her hard.Â
Y/N was making the sweetest noises heâd ever heard as he pummeled his cock into her. She whimpered and moaned, making him hook an arm around her hips and lay his stomach across her back, quick huffs of his breath warming her shoulder. He could feel her walls fluttering around him, making the rhythm of his hips stutter. âFuck, honey, you gonna cum?â She nodded as her moans got louder. He flipped her back over onto her back so he could watch her release, leaving barely any room between them as he hovered over her. Her hands wound around the back of his neck, scratching his scalp with her nails. âGoddammit, do that again,â he heard himself whimpering this time. She scratched from the top of his head down to his neck and pulled him in for another kiss.
He reached between their bodies and started flicking her clit as he chased his own high. âBucky, oh my God,â she squealed against his lips as her back arched and her legs clung to his hips. âYes, yes, yes, shitâŠmark me.â
Bucky didnât stop thrusting but tensed at her words. âNo, Y/N, you donât want that.â
âYes, I do, with you, Bucky,â she gasped.
âOmega,â he warned her, his eyes flashing. âWe can talk about that when Iâm not balls deep inside you.â
Y/N tensed at his Alpha command, her legs loosening around him. âI want you to be my Alpha, my mate.â
âGod fucking dammit,â Bucky stopped thrusting and leaned on his elbows above her. âY/N, listen to me, you donât want that. You said you wanted a clear choice, remember?â Y/N was silent and wide eyed as she watched him, slightly nodding her head. âThis isnât a clear choice. Your first heat in how many years? Itâs your hormones talking, honey. And believe me, Iâd love to mark you, claim you, bond and mate with you. Stuff you full of me,â he thrust again, making her eyes roll back, âand breed you with my pups. But we can talk about all that later. Right now, Iâm here to help you through this, because youâre my best friend, andâŠIâm ridiculously in love with you.â He finally said it. âI want to be yours, and I want you to be mine. But when itâs both of us with clear heads and a clear choice. Okay?â
Y/Nâs eyes were watery as she listened to him. âYouâre in love with me?â
Bucky huffed a laugh, âIs that all you got out of that?â
She shook her head, âNo, but itâs the most important thing. Iâm in love with you.â
He smiled wide and leaned down to give a quick kiss to her nose. âCan I continue now?â
She nodded again, and he gave her another thrust to get her going again. Her slick started to make squelching noises as he picked up the pace again, his knot starting to catch at her entrance, his hand reaching to her clit again and trailing kisses down her throat to her scent gland, licking and sucking at it again.
âOne day, if youâll have me, Iâll bite this pretty neck,â he moaned in her ear as her fingers dug into his back. âMake you mine.â
âYours, all yours, BuckyâŠAlpha,â Y/N groaned, leaning her head up and scenting him back. Her soft lips and her tongue against his gland had his eyes rolling in his head again and his fingers gripping her hips harshly. âThatâs right. Mine. MineâŠmine,â he thrusted harder and faster, angling her hips up to hit deeper.
Y/N screamed his name as she finally came, her hands digging into the flesh between his neck and shoulder, scratching his scent gland and making him see stars as he came with a yell, his knot fully inflating and latching him to her as she nearly squeezed the dear life out of him. He fell on top of her, and she held him as he calmed down, both of them panting and sweaty. Â
A heady scent filled the air, a smell that screamed satisfied mates. Bucky pulled himself to his side, holding her close so it wouldnât hurt her to move with him, and covered them with the blankets from her nest. Y/N was delirious after this first round of her heat, her head lolling with exhaustion. âRest, Omega. Weâve still got a few days, and forever after that.â
She smiled sleepily, âHmmm, my Alpha.â

â â â â â â â â SUPER RICH KIDS kim chaewon x reader
â Í âŽ° previous chapters | richgirl âą that girl (sheâs delicious) âą idonât smoke âą pretty when you cry âą homesick
âł warnings richgirl!yn, angst (yn is back home), family dynamics, rich kid things, swearing, chaewon is still chaewon, arguing, weight mentions
finally.
youâd think after everything that someone has gone through in this house, stepping back through those doors would be the last thing sheâd want. but she wasnât going to lie.
yn felt at peace.
because in the moon mansion, she could be who she truly was and not feel bad about it.
a rich girl.
âlunch will be ready soon,â jiaâs voice broke through the peaceful quiet as yn lay sprawled on her pink towel by the pool.
yn let out a contented sigh, lifting her sunglasses and pushing her hair back. âthanks, jia. whatâs on the schedule for tomorrow?â
âyou already attended the press conference with your father, so thatâs off your list. your brothers will be going to the one tomorrow, so all youâve got left is golfing with your members.â
the happy, serene soundtrack in ynâs head came to a screeching halt as she shot up from her towel.
âwhat?!â
âyour mother didnât tell you? she thought itâd be a good idea for you to invite them, so she reached out while you were out with your father,â jia said, her expression full of concern. she didnât understand. shouldnât yn be excited?
âwhen does she ever tell me anything?â yn grumbled, flopping back down on her towel childishly âjia, during dinner, add a splash of vodka to my mango juice. maybe the alcohol will keep me from flipping the table.â
jia chuckled softly, fondness in her eyes for the girl sheâd watched grow up. âwhen has that ever helped anything? iâll check on lunch.â
yn groaned as jia walked away. this was supposed to be her escape. chaewon is going to have a field day with this.
it seems like nothing can ever go ynâs way.
dinner was quiet. but that was hardly unusual. as far back as yn could remember, dinner had never been family bonding time
bonding didnât even exist in this family.
the unspoken rule was simple: eat in silence, speak only when necessary.
honestly, yn found the quiet pretty peaceful. just eating, no forced conversation.
but it seemed like her mother couldnât stand seeing her at peaceâever.
maybe that was an exaggeration, but yn firmly believed it.
âyou seem tense, yn,â jae said, a mischievous glint in his eyes as he took a slow sip from his drink. âsomething bothering you? got a problem with someone?â
yn gripped her fork tightly, slowly lifting her gaze from her plate. âi do, actually. and for once, itâs not with you, dickhead.â
âlanguage,â their father muttered, eyes never leaving the documents heâd brought to the table.
âoh really, whoâs ahead of me?â jae asked clearly liking the banter him and yn are having at the moment.
âI wonât disclose any details just as yet.â
daeun rolled his eyes at his siblings, then, deciding to break the silence since everyone seemed eager to chat, he asked, âso, mom, how was your day?â
their mother beamed at the question, her smile bright and warm. oh, how she adored her son. yn couldnât help but roll her eyes.
âit was amazing, honey. i was just reading an article about your sisterâs group.â
âoh, really?â jae responded with mild interest.
âyes! that yunjin member mentioned how she always makes sure the other girls eat and stay healthy. isnât that wonderful? yn, you have such lovely members.â
as far as yn was concerned, yunjin had never once asked if she was eating properly. but that wasnât what set her off, she had kazuha who always checked in on her.
it was the nerve her mother had to praise yunjin for something like thatâthe same person who was the root cause of ynâs so-called âproblem.â
âis that why you invited them over tomorrowâwithout asking me?â
yn hadnât planned on bringing it up, but her motherâs comment set her off.
her mother furrowed her eyebrows at ynâs tone. âyes, actually. they seem like lovely girls. i was going to suggest you invite those ai girls youâre so fond of, but your judgment isnât always the best, so i made the decision for you.â
the screech of ynâs chair echoed through the dining room. âiâm not hungry anymore, because clearly no one in this family respects me. may i be excused?â
âsure,â her father said casually, taking a sip of his wine.
âoh, come on, yn! letâs not fall back into those habits,â jae teased.
âfuck you jae!â
âlanguage.â
âyou donât like them, do you?â
yn lifted her head from her pillow, turning slowly to see daeun standing at her door.
âwhat?â
âthe girls in your group. you donât like them.â
she watched as he stepped forward and sat at the edge of her fluffy bed. âyou wouldnât have reacted that way if it were the girls from sm.â
yn hated how daeun could always read her. they barely talked nowadays, but he still knew his little sister like the back of his hand.
âitâs not that I donât like them. they donât like me. no matter how much I lower myself or how nice i act, itâs like they canât get over the fact that iâm a moon.â
âyou lowered yourself for them?â
ynâs eyes flicked up from her lap to see jae standing at the door, disappointment written across his face.
she nodded, feeling a wave of shame. they were raised to believe they were better than everyone else, and here she was, bending over backward for girls who didnât even like her.
âwell, that was your first mistake,â jae said, shaking his head as daeun nodded in agreement.
âyouâre dimming who you are to make them feel comfortable, and theyâre taking advantage of that,â daeun added, hitting the nail on the head. yn hated how right he was.
âi know you, yn. youâre a bitchâa real one,â jae said with a smirk, earning an eye roll from her. âjust be who you are. thatâs how youâll show them. it seems like they canât stand the fact that you were always going to be successful, idol or not, and they hate that.â
âwoah.â yn blinked in disbelief, looking between her brothers. âfor once, you two actually make sense.â
âsee? a bitch.â
yn adjusted the dior sunglasses perched atop her head, then straightened her pink ralph lauren golf dress before turning to jia.
âwhy are they taking so long? itâs a gated community,â she complained, tapping her foot as she stood in front of her expansive front lawn.
âpatience is key, miss moon. the van is pulling up,â jia replied calmly.
yn felt anxiety creep in but quickly reminded herself of her brother's words. this wasnât the dorms; this was her turf, the place where yn excelled.
the first person to step out of the van was kazuha, who immediately sprinted toward her.
âzuha!â
âyou look so cute! i love your dress,â kazuha gushed, her eyes scanning ynâs outfit she couldnât help but smile at how relaxed yn looked, she was completely in her element.
âthanks! my dad got it. itâs vintage!â yn beamed.
âof course he did.â yn already knew who that could be.
as she looked past kazuha, she noticed the rest of the girls gazing at her house in awe, it was kinda awkward seeing them, especially after the last time, but yn was just gonna pretend like that day never happened.
yunjin nudged chaewon, nodding toward jia, who narrowed her eyes at chaewon, causing the latter's eyes to widen.
chaewon hadnât realized someone else was there.
yn couldnât help but smile at that. âthis is jia, the help.â
the girls nodded politely, while kazuha waved, causing yn to furrow her brows. âbow?â
the girlsâ eyes widened at the unexpected demand but quickly bowed their heads.
âwe treat the help with great respect around here,â yn said sternly . âso take note of that for next time.â
kazuha smiled at yn while the others nodded, a mix of confusion and compliance on their faces.
âso, whoâs ready to golf?â yn asked, flashing a sweet smile.
âyou guys suck,â yn laughed, watching the girls struggle with their golf swings.
âwell, not everyone has been doing this since birth,â chaewon shot back, rolling her eyes.
âyouâre so right! it would take a lot to be like me, wouldnât it?â yn teased, nudging chaewonâs side causing the girl to stumble âyour form is horrendous.â
she strolled over to eunchae, adjusting the younger girlâs stance, then moved on to yunjin.
chaewonâs gaze drifted down ynâs body, taking in her outfit of course, she didnât even know people actually wore dresses like that these days.
she was about to make a snarky comment when a loud shout interrupted her.
âignore them itâs just the golf boys,â yn said as she corrected sakuraâs form.
chaewon rolled her eyes when she heard the boys calling out ynâs name in a flirty tone.
âpassed around?â
yn groaned at chaewonâs words. âIâve only talked to them a handful of times. I barely know them.â
âi talk to the caddy girls a lot, though,â yn added, causing kazuha to laugh while chaewon scrunched her face in distaste.
âdo you want my help with your form?â yn asked chaewon, raising an eyebrow.
âdefinitely not.â
âokay, then continue embarrassing yourself.â
chaewon opened her mouth to argue but was cut off by a womanâs voice.
âyn!â
the girls turned to see ynâs mother approaching, and yn groaned, rolling her eyes. âwhy is she here?â she mumbled to herself.
the girls recognized the womanâit was ynâs mother.
âhey, ladies! I hope youâre having fun and that yn is being a good host,â she said with a bright smile.
the girls greeted ynâs mom with polite smiles, and she continued, âI just wanted to drop off some cute gifts i got for you all. I completely forgot about them! I had to stop the driver we just left from going to lunch.â
âlunch?â yn asked, the emotion in her voice hard to pinpoint. âyou guys went to lunch without me?â
âhoney, itâs not a big deal. donât be dramatic! we were just celebrating your brotherâs achievements just an intimate get together that I planned.â
yn couldnât remember them ever holding something for her achievements, and she had plenty. âright,â yn laughed sarcastically. âiâm always so dramatic, huh?â
the girls exchanged awkward glances; they had never seen yn like this before.
âdonât act like that. god, youâre just like your father,â her mother said, brushing off yn's feelings.
yn clenched her jaw. âis that all? you just came by to drop off gifts?â
âyes, and i wanted to check on you. stop being so moody! just like your dad. my boys are more like me,â her mom said with a smile, prompting awkward laughter from the girls.
âyou see how she argues with me, such a daddyâs girl, she looks like a girl version of him as well doesnât she?.â her mother laughs causing yn to look at chaewon who looks at back at her with a blank face.
âhow about you go back to your boys? theyâre probably waiting for âmommyâ,â yn snapped, glaring at her mother.
she had never spoken to her mother this way before, but as she got older, her respect for the woman had diminished. she barely considered her mother a mom anymore.
âyes, i have to go. weâre going shopping to pick out suits for your father and brothers.â
yn felt as if she had been punched in the gut. family shoppingâwithout her? everyone knows yn loves shopping.
âdid you plan that too?â she shot back.
her mother ignored ynâs words, stepping back to scan her daughter. âthis outfit is cute. it looks good on you. maybe lose a couple more pounds, and itâll look even better.â
the girlsâ eyes widened at her motherâs words, but yn remained unfazed on the outside.
inside, however, yn felt the sting. she tried to pretend she didnât care about her momâs opinion, but deep down, she knew sheâd spend extra time on her diet after that.
âanyway, I have to go. it was nice seeing you girls! i hope you like the gifts,â her mother said before walking away.
the girls turned to yn, who stared at her motherâs retreating figure before turning back to them.
âI just love my perfect life, donât â I chaewon? now letâs work on your imperfect form.â

sirius black x fem!reader
summary: james wants to ask lily out, but she can't because she's always with y/n, so sirius decides to help him a little, that means spending a little time with his ex girlfriend.
warnings: a lil bit of angst! and then fluff! sirius and reader used to date, and a lot of jily!
word count: 2.5 k
a/n: hi everyone, hope you are doing great, this is literally my first post ever! i'm excited but at the same time i find everything super weird, i'm trying to settle in so i'm sorry for any mistakes, i hope to improve!
âââââąââąââââ
Sirius was a bit fed up with James if he was honest, not to be misunderstood, he adores James with all his heart but he just wouldn't shut up about Lily. The worst part was that he wouldn't ask her out, he could talk about her all day but he wouldn't make a single attempt to ask her to Hogsmeade or anything.
"I understand how much you like her, Prongs, I just don't understand why you don't ask her out, it doesn't have to be anything exotic, you know?" Sirius fiddled with his wand, sitting on the couch in the common room.
"Because she's with y/n all the time! Lily's never alone, I can never get to talk to her, you know, alone" James sighed dropping his body into the chair at the table.
Y/n. It was even a little hard for him to think about her, they hadn't ended in the worst possible way, it just didn't work out the way they would have liked it to in the first place. They had only broken up a couple of months ago, sometimes he thought he missed her, the times he didn't miss her it was because he convinced himself that he didn't, but however! They were still friends⊠Or something like that, at least he hoped so.
"Well, interrupt them, I don't think y/n would mind you stealing Lily away for a bit" Sirius rolled his eyes.
James plopped down at the table, giving an exaggerated sigh "This is it, we're never going to date, or get married, or have kids, or-"
Sirius interrupted him laughing "What are you talking about? Calm down mate, it's not as bad as you think" Sirius got up, sat down next to James and gave him a little pat on his shoulder "Look, at the weekend we're all going to Hogsmeade, there you can buy her a drink or go for a walk, yeah? You're not finished."
âââââąââąââââ
It was already the weekend! You were extremely excited as you hadn't been out to Hogsmeade for weeks, there had been so much homework and exams lately that there was no time for anything. An outing like this was a huge respite.
"Look, sour popsicles! James used to give me these in first year" Lily showed you the little colourful lollipops. Just now you were in Honeydukes buying sweets out of hand. It was going to be Marlene's birthday soon and you wanted to throw her a big party.
You gave a little chuckle. "Yeah, let's take those too" You thought it was a bit funny how much Lily talked about James, she did, even if it was unconscious, James here, James there! It didn't bother you though, it was nice to see her denying it.
"What are you laughing at?" Lily asked you with a frown.
"Oh! James used to buy me these! He's so cute! I want to marry him!" You mimicked her laughing.
"What are you talking about? I never said that, I don't even talk like that! Pretty bad imitation of you, huh?" Lily was completely offended, which again made you laugh.
"Oh, hi, James!" You said looking behind Lily, as if James was there, which he wasn't. You just liked to tease Lily.
Lily turned around quickly, arranging her hair, nervously. "Where did you see him? I can't find him." Lily searched for James with her eyes.
"Come on, Lily" You said laughing as you gave her an obvious look.
Lily turned to you, noticing your stare. "Oh leave me alone." Lily's gaze dropped a little, which worried you a little.
"Hey, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you feel bad." You patted her shoulder a little in apology.
You played this way with Lily all the time, it never bothered her, you don't know what her sudden sadness is about.
"Don't worry, it's not that, it's just- I don't know, do you think James likes me? I mean, I know he always jokes about it, but he's never tried to go out with me, we've never even had a conversation alone."
"Lily, are you kidding me? All of Hogwarts knows that James Potter has an absolute and complete crush on Lily Evans" You laughed a little, which caused her to laugh too. "Come on, Li, don't be put off by that! He's probably even around, all of us students came, I don't think he's the exception."
Lily smiled gratefully at you "You're right. Thank you, sweetheart."
Suddenly, James appeared behind Lily, this time in earnest.
"What's up, Potter?" you greeted the brunet, not to mention that your ex-boyfriend was standing next to him.
"Listen, Y/n, I don't think it's funny a second time," Lily demanded.
"A second time of what?" James asked behind Lily, giving her the fright of her life.
"James!" Lily shrieked. "Lily!" James shouted back, imitating her.
As the two of them frolicked around as they always did, you shared a couple of glances with the black-haired boy next to James. You examined him a little better, you hadn't seen him in a couple of days, he was wearing his white shirt with the first few buttons open revealing a bit of his chest, he had half his hair up, a little longer than he had when you were done, his eyes looked greyer than they normally did. He looked good. He always did.
"Hello," you said, giving him an uncomfortable look. It was a little hard to meet those eyes that were once yours.
"Uh, hiâŠ" He responded in kind. He was having a hard time seeing your eyes, which were once his.
You don't know at what point Lily and James ended whatever conversation they were having, but Lily turned to you. "I'm doing some shopping with Y/n, sorry" Lily apologised to James.
"But Y/n doesn't mind, do you?" James said looking at you, you looked back at him wanting to know what the hell he was supposed to be talking about. Maybe, just maybe, you missed a lot in the pale boy in front of you.
"Umm, sorry I- I wasn't listening" you stammered a little looking at them.
"James was just telling me that, if we could go to The Three Broomsticks, but you know we're buying Marlene's birthday stuff and I don't want to leave you alone" Lily said looking at the floor.
You realised that this was the opportunity Lily had been waiting for a long time. "Are you kidding? It's fine, it's perfect, don't worry about me, we don't have much shopping to do anyway." You told them with a smile.
"See? Everything is fine," James looked at Lily.
Lily analysed the situation, it was clear that she wanted to go out with James, but leaving her friend didn't sound like a viable option. "No, James, I'm sorry, I really don't want to leave her alone." Lily said somewhat sadly.
Sirius, on the other hand, also saw the situation. He knew Lily wasn't going to leave her friend shopping for things on her own, and he also knew how depressed James was going to be for the rest of the month if Lily turned him down for the one way out he had risked asking her. He thought about staying with Y/n, not that he wanted to of course, but it was for the greater good, it was definitely for that, he was only going to help his friend, it had nothing to do with him.
"Maybe-" Sirius suddenly spat and everyone looked at him "Maybe I can stay with you" He turned to look at you and you felt your heart skip a beat. Stay with you? Just today was the first time you'd been with him in the same room for more than ten seconds without running out since you broke up. "I mean, to help you finish shopping, after all Marlene our friend right?" Sirius tried not to make it sound like he needed to spend time with his ex-girlfriend, which he kinda did.
Lily and James smiled "Actually, it does sound good" Lily said with a bit of hope and James felt his soul return to his body.
You were paraplegic, saying yes meant spending, Merlin knows how much time alone with your ex-boyfriend who you're probably not over, but it also meant that Lily could finally go on a date with the guy she liked and the truth is that didn't sound bad at all, I mean, you knew how excited she was about that and there's nothing you wouldn't do for your best friend, even go shopping with your ex-boyfriend, why not?
"Sounds good" You gave a genuine smile "I hope you're good at picking out candy" You joked to Sirius.
"I think I am" Sirius gave you a wink. You felt yourself turn a little red.
"Thanks Y/n, I promise I'll make it up to you, I love you!" Lily said as James led her out of the tent. You laughed a little at this and Sirius mimicked you.
"I really hope they get married because I can't stand it anymore" Sirius rolled his eyes and that made you laugh.
"What?" You asked him as you looked at the shelves of candy.
"James!" He expelled as if he was taking a weight off his shoulders "I swear to Merlin that's all he talks about!"
"Is it that bad?" You looked at him, you watched as a couple of strands of hair fell across his forehead, you felt the urge to move them, but you couldn't, not anymore.
Sirius rolled his eyes "You doubt it? The worst thing is that I'm the only one he tells, Remus and Peter are smart enough to ignore it."
You laughed "Poor thing, Sirius. He's just very much in love."
Sirius sighed "Well, I was never like that."
You gave him a somewhat sly look, wondering if Sirius ever talked about you like that with James.
Sirius immediately caught your gaze and stumbled a bit over his words "I mean- Not that I wasn't in love like that- Just that I never bothered him that much about it- Not that it bothered me being in love with you- you know." Sirius cursed inwardly, it was kind of funny, he thought of himself as a confident person, somewhat boastful even but when it came to you, all of that just disappeared.
"Don't worry, I get it" You smiled a little "I think I used to annoy Lily a lot" Remembering when you first liked Sirius.
"Did you?" he asked curiously.
"Quite a lot. I hope she wasn't that bothered" You laughed a little.
Sirius smiled "I don't think so, how could you ever bother anyone?"
You rolled your eyes "Don't do that" You said to Sirius.
"Do what?" he laughed, feigning innocence.
"That thing you do, you're flirting with me, don't do that." You smiled.
"I'm not!" He defended himself offended "I'm just telling the truth, which is different."
"Shut up" You rolled your eyes smiling. For a moment you felt everything like it was before, and for a moment you wished everything was like it was before.
Sirius relaxed his face a little "I mean it, you genuinely are the most interesting person I know, I don't see any way for you to annoy or bore anyone."
You felt a bit of tension in the air so you made a little joke to ease it "I know I'm the best thing you ever had, you don't have to tell me."
Sirius laughed "Hey don't you think that's enough candy?" he said looking at the bag you were carrying, you didn't even realise how much you were carrying from talking to him.
"Oh Merlin, you're right, more than enough, let's go pay."
You and Sirius walked over to pay, so you took out the money you had counted with Lily yesterday, you paid and you walked out of the shop, Sirius helping you with the bags.
There had been a freak snowstorm at Hogwarts a few days ago, even though it was the middle of June. Professor McGonagall at first thought it was a prank by the Marauders, eventually she found out it wasn't them as James told her that they didn't play pranks on that silly level. Then she found out it was a prank by some Hufflepuff second graders, honestly you found it funny, they couldn't reverse the spell so we had to wait a couple of weeks for the snow to stop.
"What should we do? I honestly don't think James and Lily are done." Sirius looked at you.
"Definitely not, I think we should head back to the castle so we can take advantage of Marlene being around and I can hide this well" You smiled at him.
Sirius nodded and took off his coat and placed it on top of both of you so you could get to the castle without getting covered in snow, on the morning you went down to Hogsmeade the storm wasn't this bad.
You grabbed the edge of the coat next to you to cover yourself better and discovered the initial of your name embroidered with red thread that you had made a couple of weeks after you started dating Sirius. A small smile escaped your lips.
This little thing of embroidering your initial on his stuff came about as a silly joke that people would realise he belonged to you, obviously you didn't mean it, but he didn't have a problem with it, so he embroidered a couple himself.
"What's up?" Sirius asked when he saw your smile.
With a small smile you showed him the edge of his coat.
He rolled his eyes with a smile. "Leave it."
"Why didn't you take it off?" you asked curiously.
Sirius frowned "Why should I?"
"I don't know, because we broke up?"
"So?" He turned to look at you. "Just because it's over doesn't mean it wasn't real, you're the realest thing I've ever had."
You stopped walking and looked at him "Sirius, you don't mean that."
"Of course I do" He stopped as well, he picked up his scarf and showed you the corner, where your initial was also and his ring, which on the inside he wore it as well.
" I take you wherever I go." He said to you with a nostalgic smile.
"Do you miss us? Because I feel your absence wherever I go." You asked him directly, feeling your soul leave your body.
Sirius dipped his hand into your neck and you felt your neck crawl.
You smiled "Just to confirm? Will you tell me?"
Sirius moved to your lips and kissed them tenderly "More than you can imagine." He murmured against your lips and kissed them again.
"This is great" You smiled and moved the strands of hair that were in the way of his forehead. "I've wanted to do that since I saw you."
Sirius laughed against your lips. "I have to cut it" Referring to his hair.
You let out a gasp. "Are you mad? You cut your hair and we're done again I swear."
"We're done again?" Sirius repeats. "Does that mean we're boyfriend and girlfriend again?" Sirius asks with a grin.
"Absolutely. Any problem with that?" you smiled back.
"Never" Sirius grabbed the back of your neck and kissed even harder, careful to never let go again.
Though if he did, he'd always take you with him anyway.

Memories (NSFW) FT Chaewon
Authorâs Notes: I was not lying about the super drop. Hereâs something short and breezy for the birthday girl.
Chaewon sat comfortably in âher chairâ naked in your apartment. Your flight had landed 35 minutes earlier and that meant you would be back home any moment now. So she stripped herself and got in her self-proclaimed chair to wait for you. This had been your longest business trip and as per your customs, she would fuck you silly on the day of leaving and the day of return. It was cathartic and always a pleasure for both of you as you both didnât understand restraint so you always gave all of yourselves to each other. Some would call it codependent but your relationship has stood the test of time thus far. So much so the rest of the Chaewonâs members, tease her about how âshe and you are gonna get married and have a bunch of kids because you two couldnât keep your hands off each other,â but Chaewon doesnât care you fought for her affection/respect and won it like a man sheâd happily fuck you dry until you were both 90. Speaking of you Chaewon heard your footsteps travel up the stairs having memorized your walking pattern â1,2 slow then a and a pause quick 3,4â Her pussy began to pulse and leak.
As soon as she heard the door lock Chaewon couldnât help it. She spread her legs and began to furiously play with herself as you walked in. It took you a moment to register the familiar sound of her squelching digits digging into her sopping pussy.
Chaewon flowed like a fountain always when you came back from your work trips.
You lol locked eyes with Chaewon and she smirked watching your bulge grow under her gaze. She made a simple command as she took her fingers out of her and began to suck on them. As always she tasted like simple syrup
âFuck me like the animals we are,â Chaewon smiled when she saw the feral glint in your eyes that matched the rabid glint in hers. She watched as you ripped off your clothes in a feat of Herculean strength. She smiled as her man approached her before plunging into her sodden sex. Chaewon moaned
âI missed you so much,â you said. Chaewonsmiled and then demanded
âTell me,â Chaewon demanded
You pulled out halfway while making eye contact with Chaewon.
âI missed this tight pussy, and how it tries to get me to cum with every stroke,â you said as you rammed back into her. Chaewon moaned as you made another thrust and said
âI missed your sexy hips and theyâre so pleasant to grab.â You said before impaling Chaewon with your rod again while grabbing her hips, eliciting another moan from Chaewon. You smiled as you gave her another rough thrust. Chaewonâs petite breasts jiggled raggedly as she tried to recover. Her body raked against yours as pleasure ran through her. Your rod pierces Chaewon again as she moans uncontrollably at the pleasure and you grunt. Her tight pussy constricted You in ways you couldnât believe but drove you that much closer to release.
"I missed This sexy tummy and the abs I would paint with my cum" you said as your hands ran around her tummy and traced the grooves of her abs causing her to moan before she came.
"Oh fuck," Chaewon moaned as you continued thrusting into her chasing your high. She smiled and with a defiant look in her eye, she said.
"Let's make this memory special. Cum in me baby." You were uncertain until she repeated her request twice. You smiled before thrusting into her one more time before you exploded into her. She smiled as the both of you came down from your high.
"Happy Birthday Chaewon," you say with a smile.
She smiles back and kisses you.
"Let's get some dinner," she says and you happily oblige her.

bad idea right

đ±đ±đ±đ±đ±đ±đ±đ±đ±đ±
Eddie isnât afraid to admit that he makes mistakes. Sometimes, he makes big ones.
Answering the call from Steve is the first big one.
âSteve?â Itâs been almost a year since heâs heard from him, their breakup being the finite end to any and all communication. âYou okay?â
âEddie! Oh my god. So Iâm out right now, and Iâm all fucked up, and I was thinkinâ âbout that time I got so drunk you had to carry me to my bed.â Eddieâs listening to Steve, but he feels like his soul is leaving his body. âYou remember how gentle you were? You were so worried about tripping up the stairs and you kept cussing when you lost your grip. You kissed my head when you thought I was asleep.â
Steveâs words are slurred, but Eddie can make them out fine. He was good at understanding Steve all the time, even inebriated.
âI knew you were awake,â he gulps. Robinâs gonna kill him for even entertaining Steve like this. Actually, speaking of her- âIs Robbie with you?â
âNo.â Eddie can hear the pout on his lips. âSheâs on a date with her girlfriend.â
Right. Sheâd mentioned that to Eddie yesterday when they were texting about plans for next weekend.
Robin had refused to be split between her two best friends when they broke up, and rightfully so. She may have been Steveâs platonic soulmate, but she knew that what happened between them wasnât Eddieâs fault. She made sure to spend time with Eddie when Steve was otherwise busy.
âAre you good to get home? I can send an Uber for you.â Eddie offers even though heâs sure Steve thought of that already. Even drunk, he would know how to get home.
âI can get my own Uber.â
âI know.â
âI missed your voice.â
Eddie is doing his fuckinâ best not to make his second big mistake tonight, but itâs not going well. He knows whatâs gonna happen. He knows because heâs weak and loves Steve more than anything even after having his heart torn to pieces by him. Even knowing itâll only lead to more heartbreak.
âYou should get home, Stevie.â
âMissed that, too.â
Itâs quieter on Steveâs end now, like heâs stepped away from whatever club or bar heâs holed up in, maybe outside to get some much needed fresh air. Eddie hopes it sobers him enough to realize what heâs done so he hangs up.
âSteveâŠâ
âCan I come over?â
Eddie makes the second big mistake of the night and says yes.
-
When Steve arrives, heâs a beautiful mess.
Heâs drunk, but the ride mustâve helped a little. His eyes are clear, his cheeks not as flush as they probably were before.
Eddieâs waiting at the door when he gets there, standing with a smile that doesnât belong. Heâs trying to be welcoming to a man who did everything to make sure he felt like he didnât belong.
Steve is in his arms as soon as he makes it to the front door. Eddieâs third big mistake of the night is wrapping his arms around him as if heâd never stopped, as if this last year wasnât the worst of his life and heâs barely made it through.
âSorry I called. I didnât know where to go.â
And now Eddieâs confused. Heâs confused because Steve has an apartment of his own, one that he definitely knew how to get to even when drunk. Even if he didnât, he wouldâve been able to call Robin to help. Or Max. Or Lucas.
And heâs sure that Steveâs been drunk in the last year and not called him.
âWhy couldnât you go home?â
âToo quiet.â
11 months ago, almost to the day, Steve Harrington told Eddie Munson that he was too loud, too hyper, too messy.
11 months ago, Eddie Munson gathered whatever he could find in four minutes and left Steveâs apartment for the last time.
11 months ago, Steve ruined a three year relationship because heâd been feeling overwhelmed and didnât tell Eddie until it was too late.
Now, Eddie Munson is sure that Steve Harrington is about to be his fourth big mistake tonight.
âYou wanna come in?â He asks, already knowing Steveâs answer.
âPlease.â
-
Steve is tucked into Eddieâs bed, curled around a pillow, mouth open as he snores quietly. Eddie watches him for a moment before tip-toeing from the room.
Robinâs livid when she answers her phone.
âThis better be good. I was two fingers-â
âSteveâs here.â Eddie interrupts what was sure to be too much information about what Robin was getting up to on her date. âDrunk.â
âHe just showed up at your house?â Robin sounds less mad now, more concerned, though heâs not sure who sheâs more concerned about.
âHe called first.â
âAnd you answered.â
âYeah. Well.â Eddie sighs. âIâm gonna sleep on the couch, but just wanted you to know heâs safe and Iâll make sure he gets home tomorrow.â
âEddie, Iâm so sorry. He said he was just gonna watch a movie tonight or else I wouldâve suggested he go hang with Dustin or something.â
âItâs not your job to babysit him.â Eddie doesnât like the way she said that, but heâs probably reading too much into it. âHeâs an adult.â
âYeah, no. Heâs. I mean, heâs fine. Itâs just that we all try to keep his mind busy sinceâŠya know.â Robin explains, though Eddie feels even more confused.
âSince he specifically told me I was too much for him?â
Robinâs silence speaks volumes.
âEddie?â Steveâs voice is behind him and heâs quick to turn and make sure heâs okay. âSleep?â
âIâll text you,â he whispers to Robin before hanging up and turning to Steve. âYou should go lay down. Iâll bring you some water.â
âYou too?â Steve was blinking slowly, barely awake as he stood in Eddieâs living room.
âI donât think thatâs a good idea, Stevie.â
âIs it because of what I said?â
Itâs not the time for them to have this conversation, and itâs not the time for Eddie to wish he could forget it ever happened so he can hop into bed with Steve. But he thinks Steve is probably sobering up little by little, and if he expects Steve to sleep, he may have to do this.
âYou made it very clear how you felt. Iâm just trying to respect your space until I can get you home tomorrow.â Robin would be proud of how heâs handling this, he thinks. Heâs at least keeping things civil even though his head is screaming at him.
âI didnât mean what I said.â
Eddie stares at him, tries to find the telltale signs of Steve lying. He doesnât see any.
Steveâs too tired and too buzzed to hide it.
âThen why did you say any of it?â Eddie feels his chest constricting, his heartbeat racing the longer he looks at him. âWhy did you make me think I was too much?â
âMy dad came by that day,â Steveâs head falls, his hands wringing in front of him. âMy dad had spent two hours telling me I wasnât enough and that Iâd done nothing but disappoint him and Iâd never be what he wanted. And it wasnât the first time, but it was after my boss gave a promotion to someone else even though I was more qualified and my head was killing me and Robin and I had gotten into a stupid argument that morning and it was a bad day.â
Eddieâs staring at him, mouth wide open, watching as the man he loves falls apart.
âItâs no excuse. I shouldnâtâve said any of it no matter what. Not when itâs not even true. Iâve never felt like youâre too much or too loud.â Steveâs stepping closer now. âIâve always just wanted to soak up whatever energy you have. And I didnât know how to tell you that youâre more than I deserve without saying youâre too much for what I can offer.â
Damn Steve Harrington and his charm, even when buzzed, even when exhaustion is causing him to curl into himself.
Damn Eddieâs inability to avoid his fifth mistake of the night.
He doesnât know if he is the catalyst or if they both are, but suddenly his mouth is on Steveâs and teeth knock together, and thereâs a slight taste of blood on Eddieâs tongue.
Thereâs moans and hands against skin and in hair and hard cocks rubbing against thighs and bruises on hips.
Thereâs Steveâs head hitting the pillow and Eddieâs mouth sucking marks into his stomach and inner thigh and the blanket falling off the bed as they try to strip out of their clothes too fast.
Thereâs laughter and soft touches and nails biting into skin and check-ins.
Thereâs love when Eddie holds his face in his hands as he slides into Steve for the first time in too long, and thereâs hope when Steve cries out for more, and thereâs passion that Eddie knows heâd never find with anyone else.
After, when thereâs sweat and tears and cum and an unfortunate wet spot in the middle of the bed, thereâs whispers of tomorrow and the next day and apologies and promises.
It may have been a bad idea answering Steveâs call, but Eddieâs happy to make more mistakes if it means keeping Steve in his arms and being enough for each other.

kinda sad but reader distancing herself from jude bc sheâs pregnant and donât know how to tell him and heâs really scared bc he thinks sheâs gonna leave him
A/n: I had to give this a happy ending as I have far too much angst to write that I needed a pick me up
Do it. Just do it.Â
I have to keep telling myself those few words. In front of me sits a pregnancy test that I can't get myself to take as I don't want to know the answer. Jude and I have always been really careful as he doesn't want kids, I don't mind either way but because he doesn't want them we always try to be super safe. Despite that for the last few weeks I've just not felt right I've been feeling really nauseous and my period is now a week late which really only means one thing I just didn't want to believe it. As much as I know I'm almost definitely pregnant I don't want to take the test as that will confirm it and then I'll have to deal with the consequences.
How would I tell Jude? Would he leave me? Can I raise a baby on my own? All of those questions swirled round my brain as I still just stared at the test. Jude will definitely not be happy but if I am pregnant I don't want to get rid of the baby as I don't think I could handle all the emotions that come with that. If I don't get rid of the baby I can definitely see Jude breaking up with me which I understand he doesn't want kids and he's just starting out his career at Real Madrid he won't want a baby to look after so I'll probably be on my own in a city I don't know with no support.Â
It got to the point that all of the questions were starting to eat away at me so to forget about them I decided just to take the test. What no one tells you about taking a pregnancy test is that the few minute wait for the result feels like a century I swear I was pacing back and forth forever before the screen displayed the result. I chose to take a digital test as it would tell me how many weeks I was as that's something I wanted to know too but then I realised that knowing how far along I am will make it feel a whole lot more real. There was no surprise when I finally looked at the test and it said pregnant 4-5 weeks.Â
Finally seeing it confirmed made it impossible to hold back my tears any longer. Instinctively my hand went to my stomach as I thought about how in a few short months I will have a baby the baby that is currently growing inside me. The tears were a mix of happiness as somehow I was actually happy to know I was pregnant and anxiety as I have no idea what the future holds.Â
~~~~~~~~~~
It has been a month since I found out I was pregnant and I'm now 10 weeks along. A few weeks back I went for my first ultrasound and got to see the baby and make sure everything was ok which it was. Jude still doesn't know, I've tried to tell him so many times but I just can't do it I either chicken out or the moment just doesn't feel right. I know I need to tell him soon as I'm already starting to develop a small bump which will only get bigger and sometimes I think Jude gets a bit suspicious when I won't eat certain things I usually love as I know they will make me sick.Â
Over the past month I have definitely been a lot more distant with Jude which has meant he hasn't noticed when I've had really bad sickness days and that I have a small bump growing. It's hard hiding such a big secret from him which is part of why I've been so distant because I just want to tell him and for us to be a happy family but I know it won't go that way and I can't bare the thought of that. I love Jude so much and I don't want to ruin our relationship but I know at some point I'll have to tell him and deal with whatever heartbreak comes along with that.Â
No one apart from me knows about my pregnancy not even my parents or my friends I have kept it a complete secret. Today though I'm seeing my friends and I know they are getting a bit suspicious as when we go out I'm always tired and I don't drink anymore. We aren't doing much today just going for brunch so I got up after Jude left for training and went to where we were supposed to meet. Once everyone was there we went in and got a table and I lasted less than a minute before the smell of someone's food made me feel so nauseous that I had to run to the bathroom. My best friend joined me to make sure I was ok but I knew she wasn't convinced when I said I was fine.Â
"Are you ok?" The rest of the group askedÂ
"Yeah I'm fine" I saidÂ
"What's going on girl you've been acting weird for a while now" my best friend saidÂ
"Ok you guys can't say anything to anyone but I'm pregnant I found out a month ago and I've been hiding it because Jude doesn't want kids and I don't know how to tell him" I admittedÂ
None of them really knew what to say they all knew that Jude didn't want kids and a baby was never supposed to be part of our lives so they were as shocked as I was. After the initial shock they all started giving me advice and telling me everything would be fine. They all tried to reassure me that Jude wouldn't leave me when he found out but they did say I need to tell him at some point soon and I agree but it's hard to find the right words to say.Â
Once I got back home I just sat in silence thinking about life and how I got to this point. I was so consumed with my thoughts that I didnât hear the front door opening or Jude calling my name as he entered the house with increased panic when I didnât reply. I only came back to reality when he was stood in front of me catching his breath after I nearly gave him a heart attack. There was a lot of staring at each other as I tried to find something to say while he tried to read me and work out what I was thinking.Â
âLove are you ok and before you tell me youâre fine I know youâre not youâve been acting strange for a while and I just want to know what I can do to make things betterâ he saidÂ
Hearing him say that was too much for me I just burst into tears right in front of him. His arms made their way around me and he tried to calm me down but that didnât help. This last month Iâve held back all of my emotions about this whole situation and now they are coming out all at once and I canât hold them back any longer. I tried to tell him but the words couldnât escape my mouth so instead I grabbed his hand and took him upstairs with me. I kept my pregnancy test and ultrasound pictures hidden away in my wardrobe so I found them and just placed them in Judeâs hands. This isnât how I wanted to tell him but I think itâs the only way I can do it without having another breakdown.Â
âWhat is this?â He askedÂ
âIâm pregnantâ I saidÂ
âIâm sorry I know you donât want kids and we are always careful I donât know how it happened and I just Iâm just sorryâ I rambledÂ
âHey itâs ok calm down how long have you known?â He askedÂ
âIâve known for a month and Iâm 10 weeks nowâ I saidÂ
âWow we are going to be parentsâ he said hugging me tightlyÂ
âWait you arenât madâ I questionedÂ
âNo of course Iâm not mad Iâm actually really happy I know I said I didnât want kids but more recently I started to change my mind especially seeing you with all the guys kids it made me want that with you I couldnât be happier right nowâ he saidÂ
âSo you arenât going to leave me?â I askedÂ
âOf course not I canât wait to go through this whole journey with you Iâm just sad I havenât been there for you until nowâ he saidÂ
Hearing that was such a relief but not at all what I expected. Iâve always been told things happen for a reason and this is one of those things I guess. Naturally Jude had a lot of questions so I told him everything like everything I know about the baby and how Iâve been feeling as he wanted to know how Iâve been coping. It felt so good to finally tell him everything and he seemed so genuinely happy which allowed me to actually think about how excited I am too as thatâs something Iâve pushed away until now.Â
After a long conversation we both went silent and just took a minute to take in what has just happened. As we sat there Judeâs hand made its way to my shirt which he lifted up slightly and just rested his hand on my tiny bump. I watched as the smile on his face got even bigger than it was before I could see him look at my almost non existent bump with so much love that it almost made me cry. This whole thing doesnât seem anywhere near as scary now that I know Jude is here to support me and I already know heâs going to be the best dad if he loves our baby this much already.Â
âââ â âč BAHRAIN GRAND PRIXÂ
"kelly, stop it. we're in publicâ what are you doing?" max was exhausted with his relationship with his girlfriend. she always made his personal life quite tiring with all of her demands. she harshly pushed him away, not wanting to hear anything else from her boyfriend.
max always tried his best in his relationship with kelly, always listening to her demands, always trying to make him happy, always trying to appease whatever demon that was inside of kelly for the day. but it seemed like his actions were not enough for her.
"no max, i'm done. if you don't want to put a ring on my finger, then it's over," kelly had tears in her eyes before she turned her back on max.
with those last words, she stormed off.
and max didn't bother to chase after her anymore because he, too, was done with their relationship. it was his last straw.
he didn't really understand how it started but kelly started becoming obsessed with the idea of marriage. he had told her in the middle of their relationship that he wasnât looking for someone to marry. personally he didnât really want to get married, it came with too much legal issues that he wasnât looking forward to in case their relationship fell apart.
"what if we got married max?" kelly rubbed her dainty fingers over max's knuckles, max stiffens up at the question before looking at her with a sigh, his look was all that she needed for her to roll her eyes and look away, snatching her hand that was lovingly holding his own.
max didn't understand where this was coming from, he had explained his boundaries very early in the relationship, that he, himself, didn't really understand the concept of marriage or want it.
"love, we talked about this. i don't want to get married, i like things how they are," max touched her forearm, but she moved away from him, a bit too harshly for his liking.
the comfortable atmosphere built around their shared apartment had shattered, and all there was left was the fragments of that comfortable space.
"what if p grows up and she asks, 'mommy, why do you not have a ring around your finger?' then what max?" kelly snapped, standing up with her back faced towards him, not wanting to be near his proximity. max looked away from her, anywhere but her.
"p will understand as long as you explain it to her, why are you so worried about that? she doesn't understand other than the games you install on her ipad and coloring. i seriously don't understand where this is coming from," max tried to stand up and touch her shoulder but she turned around roughly and glared at him.
"it does matter if she understands, what were you thinking?" kelly raised her voice, now getting angrier by the second, "i'm going to be forty soon and still no ring on my finger max, time's ticking and i'm going to have what i want or it's over."
he had caught wind about people on social media bullying her, how they called her a groomer when she approached him when he was young and he didnât know how to feel about it.Â
they all called the relationship "inappropriate" and kelly preying on a young driver, but he didn't think it was at the time. now, he was starting to realize that maybe it was.
maybe she wanted things from him a man her age at the time couldn't give her.
max's mind was clouded when he got in that car at australia, it was hard for him of course. he had a long relationship with kelly but he knew when to stop when he felt tired.
the dnf made it harder on max, fucking engine failure. there were rumors going around, as per usual, on why max decided to dnf that day. a lot of people had assumed it was because of his breakup with kelly but that wasn't the reason but it sure as shit added onto his sour mood.
the season went past and he tried his hardest, scoring points, getting poles, wins. he felt hollow though, he still couldn't get over the break up which was uncharacteristic of him.
max scolded himself sometimes, for loving too much. for giving the people who didn't deserve the love he gave. but sometimes he knew that he was a bit rough around the edges, his personality was a lot and he knew not a lot of people were willing to put up with it.
that included you.
he felt horrible for causing you that much heartbreak but he didn't know how to properly show remorse to you, it was his fault and he knew it. both accidents were his fault now that he looked back and actually thought about what actually happened.
then the incident with you and him, sleeping on him just to find some semblance of comfort.
and for once in his life, he was scared.
not scared that you might hate him even more for trying to comfort you, but more so of the fact that how comfortable he felt when he was comforting you.
but after months of heartbreak, that was the first time he didn't think about kelly.
your rookie year ended on a positive note at least, ferrari had managed to overcome all odds and win the constructor's cup with charles becoming the driver's champion.
on the off-season, as soon as he got home. he entered his apartment he shared with kelly, with her sitting there as if she was waiting for him.
"i'm taking the apartment, you have a lot of money. get yourself a new one."
the words coming out of her mouth were cold, and as if that wasn't enough, she had already packed his things into boxes, thankfully they were labelled and not just strewn about without care.
the first night he had settled into his apartment, he was in his feels. he felt upset, rightfully so. he just got kicked out of his own apartment that he paid for, taken by his, now, ex-girlfriend to live in.
and just his luck, the convenience store down the street (which he thought was going to be open around the clock) was closed.
'why the fuck do these things happen to me when i'm already feeling shitty?' he thought to himself before begrudgingly trudging up the street back to his apartment, letting his feelings out in the elevator, when the elevator doors opened, he was caught off guard by a pretty ferrari driver.
max greeted her with as much warmth as he could muster up, "oh, hi y/n."
"what are you doing in my apartment complex?" were the first things out her lips.
SECOND YEAR âËđđËâ
you and max never really talked about whatever the fuck happened in that ferrari motorhome that night and you didn't want to. your mental health was already fucked as it is and you didn't want to make it worse for the second season, if you were even getting a seat in the next season.
thankfully, ferrari saw the potential in you and resigned with you for a multi-year contract, up until 2027. surprisingly, you had offers from different teams but refused to meet up with them as you were already signed to the iconic red team.
it was finally the winter break and everyone was off races until next year, it felt good. not having to attend multiple parties every month and socialize with people that you really didn't give a fuck about but needed their networking in order to boost your career.
being a female in motorsports was hard, you had never shared your hardships with anyone. knowing that they probably didn't have the same difficulties as you getting through the ranks.
you remembered the taunts, the teasing looks from the boys you were competing against in the karting days but those looks and the taunts gave you enough to propel you to the spot you had now.
"oh look, it's the girly girl driving today. must be an easy race for you ey?" one of the friends of the boy that you were competing today taunted you near enough so you could hear.
it hurt. hearing those words hurt.
you were 14.
and was just discovering the world of misogyny that the motorsports world was filled with.
the competing driver just laughed and shrugged him off.
your dad had looked at you softly before bending down to look you in the eye, he had heard all of the taunts, seen all of the looks and knew how down you felt in your career, but he always encouraged you to push forward.
"you got this champ, ignore them. you are miles a better driver than he is, go wipe the floor with his ass."
and that you did.
you continued to wipe the floor with his ass that race, the smug look on your face was priceless as you saw him look at you angrily and storm off to cry to his daddy about how a girl just beat him in a race.
the plan was stay at home in monaco until someone dragged you out, but a late night snack sounded nice.
begrudgingly listening to your grumbling stomach, you decided to get up and head to the convenience store down the street of the lavish apartment complex you lived at in monaco.
it felt refreshing just to be out and about in monaco without a care in the world what strategies and what upgrades ferrari would bring the next weekend. it wasn't the hardest job in the world but you told yourself that you deserved this long-needed break.
you exited your apartment and locked it, making sure to bring all you needed, your phone and apartment keys and access keycard. your eyes travelled to the door in front of you with lots of folded but used boxes in front of them.
you wondered if someone had moved in but pushed it to the back of your mind as you heard your stomach grumble again.
okay maybe ramen doesn't sound too bad right now...
you walked over to the elevator and pressed the button, but before you could, the doors opened and you were surprised to see who you were faced with.
"oh, hi y/n," max breathed out, his eyes were puffy and face was red as if he was just finished crying, you were genuinely concerned as he exited out of the elevator, the words stuck in your throat. you didn't know what to say, so you blurted something out.
"what are you doing at my apartment complex?" it sounded stupid, and you quickly reprimanded yourself for it inside.
max locked eyes with you before letting out a laugh, despite the despair that was lingering in his eyes, "you do know that multiple people can live in an apartment, right? that's what they're supposed to do."
you internally smacked yourself on the head before letting out a small laugh as well, the elevator doors closed as it dinged to another floor. you looked away from max, trying to press the button for the elevator to come back but it was useless.
"were you heading out?" max asked as you didn't answer his last question, getting distracted from the elevator going to another floor. you finally looked back at him and nodded.
"sorry for the stupid question, i just didn't expect you to live here. on the same floor as me, no less," you spoke gently, as if not wanting to stir any unwanted drama off the grid in the off season, "but yeah, i was quite hungry so i wanted to go to the convenience store down the street to get a bite."
"it's not open 24 hours, i just left to go see myself," max shot you a small smile, "i mean, if you don't mind, i have some instant noodles if you want any?"
you wanted to decline, just go back to your apartment, sleep the hunger off but your idiotic self blurted out another stupid response.
"sure."
you were settled into his apartment and on his sofa, turns out it was the one right across from you. he just moved in. you also didn't know that max was a cat dad. having two cats lovingly named sassy and jimmy, named based from clubs located in monaco. you wanted to laugh at the stupidity of the names.
max was in his kitchen cooking up the instant noodles that he promised earlier. his cat, sassyâ or was it jimmy? it was hard to tell them apart, they looked the sameâ was curled up in your lap, purring to its heart's content.
you pet the cat gently, liking the way sheâ or he?â purred. they sounded a little bit like an f1 car which made you giggle a little.
the sound of two bowls being set down in front of you on the coffee table broke you out of your little trance with the kitty, you looked up to see max's soft smile, sitting on the floor across from you.
"which one is this?" you ask as you point to the cat snoozing on your lap, max looked up from his bowl of instant noodles, before responding.
"that one is sassy," max spoke, grabbing a pair of chopsticks that he left on the table as he set the bowls down earlier, "come eat."
you nod as you sit on the floor, still across from him to take the chopsticks as well and start to dig into the instant noodles. it wasn't the best thing in the world but your stomach thanked you for it.
you both ate in a comfortable silence before jimmy approached you and started playing with the drawstrings of your hoodie, pawing at it and making you smile, "hi there, you like my hoodie?" you giggled as you pet the cat gently pawing and biting on the strings.
"excuse him, he's quite the playful one," max said in between bites of his noodles, you paid it no mind. the cute little bugger already stole your heart.
you continued eating in silence with him before thinking back to how you found him in the elevator, puffy eyed and red faced, you wanted to ask but was scared that it might come off as intrusive.
"if you don't mind me asking, are you okay?" you asked, going against your gut, assuming that he would probably do the same for you if he had found you in the elevator crying, "you looked like you had been crying earlier, is everything okay?"
max, who had his eyes locked onto you when you first asked the question now looked away to another part of the apartment, he took a pause before answering your question.
"i moved into this apartment because i broke up with my girlfriend and... it's just hard," max breathed out, as if the answer was tight in his chest, "we were in a relationship for four years, it's hard to let go of something like that, you know?"
you nod before finishing up your noodles, not really knowing what else to say. max also didn't add on top of what he said earlier.
it was only when you were getting up and go and excuse yourself back into his apartment when he said something, "thank you for the instant noodles max, i think it's time for me to head back to my apartment though."
"i- uhâ do you want to watch a movieâ? with me? or i mean if you're tired you can head back... i just need a little human company tonight if that's fine with you," max stuttered over his sentences and you couldn't help but find it cute for a moment.
you scolded yourself for a second before making another stupid decision for the night.
"okay."
testing the car felt great, no big problems whatsoever. lap times were more than satisfactory and it was time for bed. you were tired. being an introvert meant that there was limited social battery for people and it meant that it was time for bed.
"what are your thoughts on the car?" charles came up to you after you got out of yours, taking off your helmet and balaclava, you shot him a small smile.
"it feels better than last year, i think it's fine. i just have a small issue with the brakes, but so far it's alright. we'll just have to see in the first race," you spoke to him and he agreed with you about the brakes. they were kind of slow to respond to the touch, you had to tell your mechanics about that.
you off season had spent mostly with your friends and family. the occasional dinner at either your apartment or max's but that was it. you haven't contacted the other drivers, and they didn't either.
you had speculated that maybe it was because you were a woman and they were scared of womenâ that was a joke.
this round of testing was done in barcelona, catalunya wasn't one of your favorite tracks but you managed. you were excited to try out the car in abu dhabi though, one of your best tracks. scoring good lap times even when you were a rookie.
as you retired the car for the night, you took off your racing gear, gloves, suit and all. you wore a simple sweater and some shorts to get back to the hotel, but what you didn't expect was max to come up to you and talk.
"hey," he waved you over as you were about to leave the track, he was seen in some red bull gear.
of course he was.
"hey max," you waved at him, you didn't know whether to feel comfortable in his presence or awkward, considering you did spend a bit of time with him in the off season.
"how was your car? i saw you flying with charles earlier," max chuckled, you shrugged with a smile on your lips, the car did feel great. he wasn't lying when he said you were flying with charles.
"yeah, great speed and control for this year," you told him, fiddling with the strap of your bag, "how was your car? you got your problems from last year fixed?" you asked him, you had heard him complain about his "wagon" a few times when you guys were spending time with eachother in his apartment.
"unfortunately no, i told them that we're still having the same problems as last year. i guess it's better but it's still not 100%," max had told you before gesturing to the exit, "you wanna walk with me to the hotel?"
you nod and just listening to him talk the entire time you guys were walking to the hotel. you didn't feel like talking and he was the yapper in the dynamic so you let him talk your ear off, you didn't mind though.
"âand imagine! sassy was there, behind the door. staring at me like i did something wrong but she was the one that locked themselves inside of the room. i had a punch a hole in the door to get them. it was ridiculous," max shook his head as you guys entered the hotel lobby.
you just laughed and made your way to the elevators, thinking back to that time when you had found him in your apartment building, puffy eyed. i guess that was the start of the healing in your relationship, no longer angry at him but still feeling a little bitter about your could've been maiden win.
"your cats are adorable, i would forgive them," you had spoken softly to max while pressing the button in order to go to the floor you needed, max rolled his eyes.
"they're lucky i love them," max had scoffed sarcastically, "well, what about you? you don't really talk much about your personal life..."
"there's not much to talk about," you shrug and shove your hands in you pockets, your family dynamic was complicated. people who knew you on a deep personal level knew that and you didn't know whether you were ready to spill that particular can of worms to max just yet.
"my family life is not great, but i have friends to help. that's all i can say for now," you glance at max who had his eyes on you, but he nodded. he knew a thing or two about an unstable relationship with family.
"which floor are you staying at?" you ask him as the elevator dinged, trying to change the subject but not being subtle about it, signaling that it was at the current floor you guys were at, ready to pick you guys up and deliver you to whatever floor you desired.
"the twelfth, you?" max had asked as he stepped into the elevator as soon as its doors opened, you followed suit.
"i am too, i guess the drivers are all put in the same floor for ease," you shrug but max shook his head, objecting your statement.
"usually, it's the teams that decide which floors to put the drivers. it's based off of room availability. coincidentally, we just stay at the same floor," max had corrected you, you didn't say anything back to that. social battery more than dead.
you had thought it would be funny if you guys were placed right across from eachother just like at home. the elevator ride was filled in comfortable silence, you appreciated that it never felt awkward being silent for a period of time with max.
as the elevator dinged once again, you and max exited.
"well, i'm off to bed, goodnight max," you wave him off as he went right and you went left, "i hope you rest well, we have a flight to catch tomorrow."
you had walked away and he had too, but you heard something that made you turn around.
"you wanna fly with me?" max had almost blurted out, now you fully turned to look at him, you guys were quite far from eachother.
"what..?"
"i have a private jet, do you want to fly with me?"
"max, what the hell? why do you have a private jet?"
"just answer the question."
"i'll double check with my manager and give you an answer later," you shook your head, him having a private jet was definitely not something out of his character, but you didn't know. he never brought it up on the late nights you would spend with him.
"alright, goodnight y/n," max had a small smile toying on his lips, he was waving before you rolled your eyes playfully and waved back, turning back around to rest up.
he's insane.
there you were the next day, on a flight straight to abu dhabi sat with max verstappen. no one had asked for a ride with him, so it was just the two of you on the plane with flight crew.
you didn't know whether to thank the gods or to curse them out for ferrari not having booked a flight for you yet last night.
you were chatting with him, about and anything except for your cars or the race upcoming in abu dhabi. you didn't want to think about that right now, you had told him at the start that you were feeling anxious about it and he respected your wishes and didn't talk about it.
as you landed in abu dhabi, ferrari staff were awaiting your arrival. max was hot in pursuit behind you, you figured it would've been nice to talk and say thank you for the flight but one of the ferrari staff present, your pr manager jessica had come up to you to interrupt your train of thought.
"so, y/n. we have some media coverage to do today, you have a few things to say and address," jessica had explained but you looked up at her confused, what did she mean by 'address'?
max was right behind you and gave you a teasing look that said, 'being bombarded with work already?'
you wanted to roll your eyes and laugh.
when did your relationship get that casual?
"can i at least thank max for the flight before you throw me into media duties?" you rubbed your temples as jessica handed you over an ipad filled with things you needed to answer and address.
jessica lets you go with her hands up held in the air, like she was a guilty criminal.
you turn and look at max who was now next to you, "thank you for the flight max, it was nice chatting with you," you told him before he gave you a small smile.
"no problem, call me if you need another flight. i need a new jet buddy anyway, last one told me to fuck off and stole my apartment," he waved you off before walking away, you really wanted to laugh now. he was so silly.
you finally looked over to the ipad before gasping.
address relationship rumors with max verstappen.
what the fuck was happening?
you were on the press conference line up for today, and of course pr responses rolled off your tongue as if you gave a fuck.
you just wanted to drive, why were press conferences so necessary for you to drive?
"last question for l/n before we end the press conference," one of the journalists spoke up as you nodded, mic up on your mouth, ready to give whatever bullshit they wanted to hear, "what is your current status with max verstappen?"
you wanted to vomit.
"sorry, what do you mean by that? can you clarify?"
"rumors are spreading around that you were spotted boarding his private jet, do you have a comment?"
"well, all i can say is that if i was a man, this news wouldn't be happening. i'm just friends with verstappen, nothing more, nothing less. please refrain from asking me ridiculous questions like these, i just want to drive," you had shot back, thinking that the question was ridiculous, all because you were on the same flight as him?
the press conference wrapped him and charles nudged you, a teasing look on his face.
"'i just wanna drive', ey?" charles laughed and you smiled at his teasing look, knowing that it was all in good fun, "nice job at shooting down the journalists. they have no boundaries sometimes."
"thank you, just because i'm a woman," you joked back and charles laughed, "let's make this testing worth it because i want to beat his ass now."
the abu dhabi grand prix weekend was in full swing, the paddock being filled with people here to watch the race or staff from respective teams trying to wrangle their drivers or trying to fetch important people crucial for the race.
fireproofs were on and a ferrari cap was sat atop of your head, waiting for the go ahead of the engineers for you to sit in your car and finally drive.
quali day today, and you were starving for a fight.
"you look so serious, amour," a soft voice spoke up as you tore your gaze away from your car, looking up at the owner of the voice. it was alexandra, charles' girlfriend.
"oh hey, alex," you laughed, stood up and greeted her, "how are you doing? i haven't been seeing you around the paddock," alex hugged you and smiled at you, she was always nice to you, much like her boyfriend.
"yeah, i've been busy with dealing with things at home, how are you? you seem quite eager for today's quali," alex had asked as you laughed, apologizing for your seriousness today.
"i was quite angry at the journalist the other day for bringing up me and verstappen's relationship status. i just want to take pole today. don't mess with an angry woman, right?"
alex would only laugh at your statement, knowing full well that you were right.
"AND WITH THAT L/N MAKES A STATEMENT TO ALL THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE DOUBTED HER IN HER ROOKIE YEAR, SHE TAKES POLEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
"let's fucking go anthony!" you screamed into the radio as he informs you that you start first place in tomorrow's race.
"you deserve this, you worked so hard to get up to this point. i'm very proud of you kid," anthony spoke to you through the radio before you pulled into the pits, your side of the garage was awaiting you with full smiles on their faces.
and this is why i race.
you exit the car and you're immediately swarmed with hugs and cheers.
"l/n takes pole, l/n takes pole, l/n takes pole!" were the cheers of your engineers as they lifted you on their shoulders and screamed, the screams in the crowd mixed with the adrenaline of the pole made you smile the widest.
"I TAKE POLE THIS WEEKEND, LET'S FUCKING GO!" you yell on the top of your lungs, your engineers were so happy. everyone was happy.
you were rewriting the history of motorsport by force, whether they liked it or not.
you were one of the first few women to enter f1 and the first woman to take pole ever.
this was your break. this was what you deservedâ no, this was what you worked hard for. all those years of people doubting you, telling you that you had no place in the sport, that you didn't know how to drive, that you didn't deserve to drive all because you were a woman. to prove all of your doubters wrong. to tell the world that, hey. i'm here, i'm here to prove every single person wrong.
and as if a weight was lifted off your chest, tears freeflowed onto your cheeks.
i fucking took pole today and i'm gonna win again, and again, and again.
you exhale deeply, it was refreshing to not see any cars in front of you for the first time ever. starting front row, on pole no less was exhilarating.
you weren't going to let this go to waste. you were going to take this opportunity by the balls and turn into your first win.
you felt it in your bones.
"AND FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS SEASON, IT'S LIGHTS OUT AND AWAY WE GO!"
hi there, an anon had recently informed me that y/n being the first female driver in formula history is actually not accurate in real life, so i edited the parts for off the grid from this point backwards to fix any mistakes in my writing. so sorry for not doing my due diligence and actually researching the history of women being in this sport. looking forward to do better in the future.
read my lips (mapi leĂłn x ingrid engen x deaf!reader)
You've had a long day, and the last thing you want to do is meet your friend at a busy café after work - until two women show up and ask if they can sit at your table.
a/n: based on this request, i hope you like it! i'm sorry it's not super long but i might do a part 2 x (also i have the same shirt as the one mapi is wearing in those pics so i had to use them)
------
The day started out like any other. You got up, showered, got dressed, had a quick breakfast and headed off to work. Thatâs when things started to go downhill. Somehow half of your files were missing, so you had to spend hours trying to recover them, and when that didnât work you had to contact the IT guy, who didnât seem to understand that exaggerating all of his words and shouting made it harder to understand him than if he just spoke normally. Then you realised youâd forgotten your lunch at home, so you had to spend half of your lunch break going to the shop down the road - and they didnât have the sandwich you wanted.Â
By the time youâd finished work, you wanted nothing more than to go home and curl up in bed. Unfortunately, youâd planned on meeting a friend at a nearby cafĂ©, and you hadnât seen each other in months, so you really didnât want to cancel. With a sigh, you packed your things and headed to the cafĂ©.
It was busy, and the noise was draining - the clanking of cups, the hiss of the coffee machine, the sound of cutlery scraping against plates. Your friend wasnât there yet, so you ordered a drink and found an empty table tucked away in a corner. You sent her a quick message, telling her where you were sat, and turned off your implants with a breath of relief. You were looking forward to seeing her. She was Deaf as well, and it got tiring talking to people all day. It would be nice to just be able to sign away to someone, someone who spoke the same way you did.Â
As you waited, you scrolled through your phone. You could make out muffled sounds behind you, but ignored them, knowing that when your friend arrived she would just sit down, rather than trying to get your attention.Â
The sounds quieted down, but then came back after a minute. You kept scrolling through your phone until someone stepped into your line of sight. Looking up, you saw two young women. One had dark brown hair and piercing blue-green eyes, and the other had lighter brown hair with blonde tips, and a tattoo across her neck. They were both stunning, and it took a moment for you to register that they were trying to talk to you. You quickly focused your attention on the dark-haired girlâs lips, watching her mouth move.
âHey, would we be able to sit here? All of the other tablesâŠâ her mouth kept moving, but she turned her head, gesturing to the rest of the cafĂ©, which was packed. You frowned as you tried to read her lips, but it was hard when she wasnât facing you directly. Guessing that she was saying something about nowhere else being free, you nodded. It was a table of four after all, and it wasnât like you had to worry about them listening in to your conversation.
âYeah, sure. My friend should be here soon but thereâs still space,â you said, trying not to get distracted again by how gorgeous the women were. They smiled gratefully and sat down. You went back to scrolling on your phone as you waited, wondering where your friend was.Â
âAre you from around here?â the woman with the tattoo asked, sitting down next to you. You didnât see though, and hadnât even realised she was talking to you. She waited a minute for a response, and when nothing came she raised an eyebrow at the other woman, who just shrugged.Â
Your friend arrived a few minutes later, rushing over to your table then stopping when she saw the two women. She waved at you, then glanced over at the women.
âWho are they?â she signed, and you shrugged.
âI donât know, they just wanted somewhere to sit and this was the only place left.â you signed back quickly.
Your signing caught the eyes of the two women, who watched in surprise. As your friend sat down, the dark-haired woman moved over a little, making more space.Â
âSorry, do you want us to move?â she asked, then cringed as she realised sheâd just spoken to you, when the two of you were clearly using sign language. Still, youâd spoken to her earlier, so you must understand some spoken words.
âNo, itâs okay,â your friend said with a smile, and the woman looked relieved.
The woman next to you tapped you on the shoulder, and you sighed inwardly, but turned to face her. All you really wanted to do was chat to your friend, not answer some strangerâs questions about being Deaf - which happened more often than you would think.
âHi! My name is M-A-R-I-A,â she signed. The signs looked different to the ones you knew, and you guessed that it wasnât British Sign Language.
âWhere are you from?â you asked, and she looked disappointed that her signing hadnât been received well. âYour signing looked good, I just donât recognise it. Are you from a different country?â
âAh, yes, Iâm from Spain,â she explained, smiling apologetically.
âThat explains it. There are different sign languages in every country. That must be Spanish sign language.â
âCan you hear?â she frowned, tapping her ear.
You could see the dark-haired woman frown and hiss something at the woman sat next to you, but didnât see what it was.Â
âNo, but I can lip-read,â you told her, tapping your lips. âWhat were you signing?â
âThatâs so cool!â she exclaimed with a wide grin. âI was signing âHi, my name is Mariaâ. Actually, everyone calls me Mapi, but I only know how to sign Maria.â
âMa-pi?â you asked, watching her mouth closely.Â
âSi- uh, I mean, yes!â she nodded, smiling, and grabbed a pen from her pocket and wrote it on a napkin. Mapi.
The other woman chuckled and shook her head fondly, catching your attention.
âIâm sorry about her. She likes meeting new people,â she said, looking at Mapi with a warm look. âIâm Ingrid. Iâm sorry, weâll let you get back to your friend now.â
Mapi nodded, looking slightly bashful, and you tried to ignore the disappointment you were feeling.
âHow do you end up sat with two of the most attractive people Iâve ever seen?â your friend signed to you, eyes wide.
âLuck, I guess?â you signed back with a shrug. âThey really are ridiculously hot, though, right?â
She nodded, stifling a laugh. The two of you chatted for a while, catching up on each otherâs lives, when her phone vibrated on the table between you. Her eyes flew to her phone and she grimaced apologetically.Â
âIâm sorry, I have to go, I forgot that I-â
âItâs fine, itâs fine, you can go,â you signed, rolling your eyes teasingly. She was notoriously forgetful, and if anything you were surprised that sheâd even made it to your meeting. She apologised again and was out of the cafĂ© within minutes, leaving you alone with Mapi and Ingrid once again.
You sat for a moment, contemplating whether to stay a while longer and read or whether to just leave. Deciding that, really, all you still wanted to do was get into bed, you packed up your things and left, waving goodbye to the two women.Â
Except, when you got outside, you realised it was raining. Not just raining, but absolutely chucking it down. Rummaging through your bag, you had a sinking feeling that only got worse as you searched, realising that you had, in fact, forgotten your umbrella at home.
Fuck, you thought to yourself, wondering what to do. Normally youâd just walk, but in this weather and without an umbrella you definitely didnât want to. There was a bus stop not too far, you supposed, but you werenât sure what time the next bus was.
With a sigh, you turned your implants back on, bracing yourself for the sudden noise and winced at the sounds. As you started to pull out your phone to check the bus timetable, the door to the café swung open behind you, loud chatter and the clanking of plates catching your attention. You looked up to see Mapi and Ingrid, who were frowning at the sky.
âThe weather here is so bad,â Mapi grumbled, but there was a smile in her eyes.
You nodded with a chuckle, and opened your mouth to reply when a car sped past, honking its horn, making you jump.
âFuck, that was loud!â you exclaimed, clapping your hands over your ears. Mapi looked at you in surprise.
âI thought you couldnât hear?â
âI canât, but I have implants,â you explained, lifting your hair to show her the device. âI donât really like using them though, the noise can be so overwhelming. I had them off in the cafĂ©, but itâs safer to have them on outside.â
âOh, thatâs so cool!â Mapi grinned. âI wish I could turn my hearing off sometimes.â
âMarĂa,â Ingrid admonished her, looking slightly embarrassed. âYou canât say things like that.â
âWhy not?â she asked, turning to face the Norwegian. You tuned them out as you looked at your phone, remembering that youâd wanted to check the buses. Okay, there was one in 20 minutes, that wasnât too bad, you supposed.Â
Or⊠you could wait, and see what Mapi and Ingrid were doing. Yeah, you wanted to go home, but it also wasnât every day that two women this interesting just fell into your lap like this.Â
âHey, you said youâre from around here, right?â Mapi asked, tapping you on the shoulder to get your attention again.
âYep,â you nodded. âBorn and raised here.â
âGreat! If youâre not busy, do you want to show us around a little?âÂ
âOh!â you said, surprised.Â
âIf youâre busy, thatâs okay,â Ingrid quickly interjected, mistaking your surprise for hesitation.
âNo, no, Iâm not busy,â you smiled. Fuck it. âI can show you around. Maybe we should go somewhere dry, first?â
âi wish i was who you drunk texted at midnightâ
wc!: 5.2k (iâm sorry iâve got serious problems đ)
ollie bearman x reader + childhood friends to ?
warnings: angst asf, heartbreak, swearing, let me know if there are any more!
part 2
summary: after moving to Chelmsford you meet ollie, the two of you quickly become friends but unfortunately you fall for Ollie. he moves away for f2 and leaves you, until heâs supposed to race in Jeddah. you fly there only to gain more than what you bargained for
type: angst (cliff hanger ending IM SORRY)
a/n: this is just something I wrote because I was sick in bed the last few days, itâs super long but so hope yall like it! Also iâm sorry if itâs bad lol i am still sick and this is just something i wrote for fun to entertain myself. ALSO no hate to Estelle Ogilvy (is that how i spell her last name) i just used her for the plot of the story please donât come after me.). The name is inspired by âdrunk textâ by Henry Moodie, please give it a listen itâs such a good song, enjoy xxx
They say that you should always be friends with the person you like before you start to fall for them. Well, thatâs one thing you could check off the list if you looked back on your friendship with Ollie. The truth was, being in love with your best friend sucked. Friends can break your heart too, something people tend to forget.Â
6 and 6Â
The first time you ever met Ollie was in a library. A week prior to that you had moved to a strange town named Chelmsford. A name that 6-year-old you found difficult to pronounce, to be frank everything in the new town sounded different to what you were used to. The people there spoke with such a different accent to what you were used to, it would take you quite a while to get used to it. As you sat in the back of the taxi with your backpack at your feet, you stared out the fogged up window. The sky was a gloomy grey and the landscape seemed to be an endless plain of sad looking meadows.Â
You couldnât seem to understand why your parents would choose to move to such a sad looking place, it didnât make any sense. The taxi soon came to a slow stop, the brakes squealing loudly. You glanced out the window hopefully, rubbing the condensation away with your sleeve. Only to be disappointed to see a boring brick building of some sort. It was an odd combination of white wooden window frames and red bricks, like something out of one of those 1600s movies your Father once showed you. You anxiously looked back to your Mother who was watching you as your Father sorted out something with the taxi driver. Upon seeing your unhappy face your Mother chuckled softly.
âI heard that thereâs a library just down the street, maybe sometime this week we could visit it.â she offered. You nodded, slightly content. Reading books was something you enjoyed and maybe with a library being close by, not all was lost.Â
As it turned out, that boring brick building was your new house.Â
Despite having to unpack and sort adult-y things out, your Mother took you to the library just as she had promised. As you skipped down the cobbled road, your Mother held a bright yellow umbrella over your head to shield you from the rain that was pouring down from the cloudy grey sky.Â
You pushed upon the heavy front door to the library which also happened to look like a sad white brick square with a pointy red roof, a depressed mushroom if you will. You halted in your steps as giant wood bookcases rose before you, shelves full of books. Never had you ever seen so many books before. In the corner there was a lady sorting things in a trolley with her back turned to you, she still hadnât noticed you.Â
âCâmon, letâs head to the kids section.â your Mother said, taking you by the hand and leading you deeper into the library. Stunned by the amount of books that filled the shelves you couldnât help but wander off when your Mother told you to stay put while she set up a borrowing card for you.Â
Luckily, the childrenâs section of the library was much more pleasant looking than the eerie hallways of adult books. You scanned the shelves in search of something to read, until you came to a stop. Two round brown eyes among the books blinked from the other side of the shelf, scaring you.Â
It was a boy.Â
You blinked back, unsure of what to do. So you did what any other 6 year old did when they believed they had found a new friend.Â
âDo you want to read with me?â you abruptly asked the boy who was still staring at you with wide eyes. A moment of silence passed before he nodded slowly, the boy rounded the corner. He wasnât much taller than you with chocolate brown hair and small freckles that spilled over his face like tiny stars. He stuck out his hand, âIâm Oliver. But my friends call me Ollie.â he greeted, a smile taking over his face. His voice sounded odd, like the taxi driver whoâd driven you from the airport to your new house. Ollie reminded you of a rabbit with his two front teeth that seemed to take up over half of his face, but you didnât say anything because your Mother told you that saying things like that wasnât nice.Â
You took his hand cautiously in yours, âIâm Y/N.â you replied slowly. He enthusiastically shook your hand, taking you by surprise as he led you to sit down on the bright coloured bean bags. You watched curiously as he picked a book off the shelf before plopping down next to you again. You peered over as he opened the book to the first page, you frowned, not recognising the book.Â
âItâs a book called Whereâs Wally (Whereâs Waldo if youâre American). You have to find the characters, thereâs Wally, Wenda, the wizard guy and Woof - thatâs the dog.â Ollie explained to you, pointing to each character on the page. The initial nervousness of meeting another kid, melting away. You began to feel excited as you nodded along while Ollie continued to explain how to play. The two of you spent the next hour doing all sorts of things, talking about favourite colours, favourite animals, reading books, drawing, playing board games together. Both getting along so easily it was as if you guys had known each other forever. That was until you heard your Mother calling your name to go home.Â
You stood up, looking down at Ollie who was still seated on a yellow bean bag. He blinked up at you, with those big brown eyes that had scared you only an hour earlier. âI have to go home now.â you told him, a wave of sadness passing between the two of you as you both realised your fun had come to an end.Â
âThatâs okay, maybe Iâll see you at school.â he suggested hopefully upon seeing your downcast face. You broke into a smile, âOkay, bye Ollie.â you waved slowly as you began to walk away. Ollie waved back with a giant grin on his face as he watched you disappear behind the wooden bookshelves.Â
âHey Mom!â you called out to your Mother as she came into view, she was chatting with the lady who youâd seen at the desk sorting books. She paused and turned to you, âHey, I was just talking to the librarian, she was saying about how she has a son who hangs out here while she works on the weekend.âÂ
Putting two and two together you realised that the book lady was Ollieâs Mother. You smiled at the lady, âI was playing with Ollie, we were reading that one book, âWhereâs . . .â You trailed off, racking your brain for the name of the book heâd shown you.Â
âWhereâs Wally?â the librarian offered, she nodded fondly. âThatâs his favourite book.â You grinned up at the lady, looking back in the direction where youâd been playing with Ollie.
âMom, am I going to the school as Ollie?â you asked, looking up at your Mother. She chuckled softly before nodding, âAs a matter of fact, you are.âÂ
Those golden words were what made you unbelievably excited to begin at your new school. You had barely been able to sleep with the thought of seeing your new friend again, so on that Monday morning you bounded down the stairs to the kitchen. âGood morning!â you greeted both your parents, taking a seat at the dining table, legs swinging off the chair impatiently.Â
âSomeoneâs excited for their first day of school.â your Mother hummed as she set a plate of pancakes in front of you. You nodded, âI get to see my new friend.â you replied as you stuffed your mouth with your breakfast.Â
You were basically pulling your Mother through the front gates as you scanned the sea of other children in the same uniform as you. The uniform also happened to be grey, it complimented the terrible weather perfectly. Your eyes fell onto the brown haired-freckled boy from two days earlier, you ran up to him, âHi Ollie.â you smiled. A giant grin took over the boyâs face, âY/N!â he exclaimed, pulling you into a hug. From that day on, the two of you were inseparable. Where one of you went, the other followed right behind, Ollie helped you adjust to your new school, showing you around and never leaving you by yourself. As the years passed the two of you only became closer, though you would soon find out that that wasnât the greatest thing.Â
13 and 13
As the two of you grew into teenagers, things began to change and not always for the better. Ollie and you still remained close friends, having dinner at one anotherâs house on Fridayâs, walking home together after school and occasionally spending afternoons playing Mario Kart with Ollieâs siblings. Your families were also extremely close now courtesy to both you and Ollie, his younger siblings becoming like your own. But the worst thing?Â
Youâd caught feelings for Ollie, it had been so sudden almost like it had crept up on you, taking you by surprise. You didnât understand. It felt so wrong.Â
One day out of the blue it hit you like a pile of bricks, you just couldnât stop staring at him. Absolutely enchanted by him, his chocolate brown hair, those pretty freckles that youâd memorised on his face.Â
Ollie was like a brother to you, he was your best friend, so how come you felt these things for him?
To make matters even worse for little 13 year old you, Ollie liked another girl. A girl who absolutely hated your guts.Â
What had you done to her? You didnât know.Â
You and Ollie had been having a sleepover when he told you about her, her name was Estelle Ogilvy. She was gorgeous and untouchable, by far the prettiest girl youâd ever seen. You didnât hold a candle to her and you knew it too. Ollie had been hopelessly in love with her since the start of high school when he shared science and maths class with her. Time and time again he would ramble on about her to you, completely oblivious to your feelings for him. You could only nod along wishing it was you who he was talking about. Thatâs just how it was, you were stuck in a bubble of unrequited love. So all you could do now was watch from afar as Ollie ran after a girl who you just knew would never like him as much as he liked her.Â
15 and 15
Ollieâs karting career really took off in the last few years and you couldnât have been prouder, those feelings for him still lingered around but youâd come to terms that heâd never like you in the same way. Because there he was, still stuck on chasing Estelle. You couldnât blame him, and maybe thatâs what you were always just supposed to be, friends.Â
Yet you were jealous, something you refused to admit. Jealous of Estelle because oh how you wished to be talked about so fondly by Ollie. To always be on his mind, to be the girl he liked and would never shut up about. You still didnât understand why you felt this way, in your mind it made absolutely zero sense. Then why did it feel so right when you were by his side, almost like you belonged there next to him? But Ollie being Ollie could just never get a hint whenever you tried to subtly let him know. It sucked because thereâs nothing worse than loving someone whoâll never love you the same way.Â
18 and 18Â
It got worse as the years passed, your feelings for your best friend would just not go away. No matter how hard you tried, how hard you tried to find another boy to fawn over, your gaze would always fall back on Ollie. But he was dating Estelle now, he was in Formula 2 now. It almost seemed like an eternity ago when you first met him in the library just down your street. An eternity ago when you would attend his karting races, cheering the loudest for him in the stands. All of that was now in the past. You barely even saw him now that he had dropped out of school to pursue his career in Formula 2. Now all you could do now was watch from a distance as he looked the happiest youâd seen him in ages.
He was spectacular at what he did, you would watch him race on TV every week no matter what hour the race was or even if you had school the next day.Â
Yet inside of you there was a giant hole, a hole that Ollie had left behind when he abandoned you. Abandoned was a bit of a stretch but it was the only word you could use to sum up what you had felt when he left. Ollie had to move to Italy for his career, news that he hadnât even told you in person, you had to hear it from his Mother. Heâd taken your hands in his at the airport as he waited to board his plane and promised you heâd stay in touch, that heâd call every week but here you were with the last time youâd spoken to him being over a month ago.Â
You refused to be the first one to reach out to him, you felt like he owed you that much effort at least. So you waited . . . and waited only for the world to keep spinning while you were stuck in the past. That was until you finally realised that you had never meant as much to Ollie as he had to you.Â
19 and 19 - present dayÂ
âY/N! WAKE UP OR YOUâLL BE LATE FOR SCHOOL!â your Motherâs voice echoed up to your bedroom, rattling the glass in the window frames. You groaned as you groggily sat up, pulling open the curtains only to be greeted with dark overcast weather, rain pouring down outside. You rubbed your eyes, yawning as you dragged yourself out of bed. It was your second year of university studying mechanical engineering at the biggest university in Chelmsford. It proved to be difficult with its endless nights of staying up doing work but you knew it would be worth it in the end.Â
Your university never failed to confuse you and make you late for class with all of its giant identical hallways. You ran down the corridors, heels clacking on the marble floor until you came to a stop at the door to where your lecture was for that day. Slipping through the door you weaved through the seats of the auditorium to find an empty seat. Luckily for you, your friend Bianca saved a seat for you.Â
âThanks.â you whispered only to be shot dirty glares by the students around you. You winced as you looked ahead at the teacher in an attempt to catch on what he was droning on about. Bianca gently nudged you, passing her phone to you. You frowned, eyebrows knitted as you looked down at the screen. A notice on Ferrari's official instagram with Ollieâs face plastered above the words âOliver Bearman to race in Jeddah this weekend for Carlos Sainz.âÂ
You narrowed your eyes and huffed, passing the phone back to Bianca who smiled nervously. âWhat was the point of that?â you whispered, leaning closer to her. Bianca sighed, âYouâre not fooling anyone, I know you still have unresolved feelings for him.â she whispered back only to get a loud shushing sound from a nearby student.Â
Bianca shot them a glare before turning back to you, âYou have to go, I donât care what you say. You are going. This is his Formula 1 debut, whether youâre still friends with him or not youâve got to be there for him.â she whispered-shouted, looking at you sternly. You sighed, leaning back into your chair, shaking your head.Â
âItâs not the same anymore. Heâs clearly forgotten about me, the last time we spoke was last year and heâs been back home 4 times in the last 12 months.âÂ
Silence hung in the air, only the voice of the teacher rambling on and on about something you still hadnât caught on about.Â
âThat Estelle girl, sheâs clearly using him. You were his best friend, surely that means something to you both.â Bianca tried again but it wasnât any use. There was no purpose in bringing up something that you both had clearly tried so hard to forget about.Â
So then why were you here booking a flight to Jeddah to watch your old best friend debut in Formula 1?Â
It was something you couldnât answer and didnât want to.Â
The thing that you hated the most is that you didnât even think twice before booking those tickets.Â
How could you care so much about a person who had so blatantly forgotten about you?
Deep down you knew the answer, it was because to you Ollie was like your home. He was the first person to make you feel like you actually belonged somewhere, he never abandoned you to eat lunch alone at school, he never cancelled plans once you made them, he was a good person, a good friend.Â
Or at least he was.Â
Were you insane? The answer was yes, yes you were insane. Being here was so crazy; it nearly made you want to turn around and jump on the next flight back home. You were standing in line to go through the gates when you heard someone call your name. You secretly hoped it was Ollie but much to your disappointment it was . . . Arthur?
Ollie had introduced you to Arthur back when they had raced in Formula 3 together. You hadnât seen him in forever.Â
âArthur?â you questioned as he pulled you into a hug, you hugged him back before pulling away, still unable to believe it was him.Â
âI was about to ask what youâre doing here but that would be dumb.â you confessed, only noticing now the massive crowd that was surrounding the two of you. Arthur chuckled before nodding in the direction of the gate, âCâmon, I can get you in, youâll be my guest.âÂ
âOh, you donât have to-â you began but Arthur was already pushing you through the gates. Walking back onto a race track was like taking a breath of fresh air after being in a car for a long time. You used to accompany Ollie to all of his karting races each weekend in Chelmsford, so being in the stands had become like a second home to you.Â
âAre you here for Ollie?â Arthur asked as you walked in the direction of the motorhomes. You caught yourself before you could answer too irrationally, âNo, Iâm just here to watch the race.â you shrugged, realising how dumb that sounded as soon as it left your mouth. No good person would fly all the way to Saudi Arabia to watch a race if there was a Grand Prix in their own country. If you wanted to âjust watch a raceâ you couldâve watched it on TV or gone to the Silverstone GP. Arthur only hummed, you knew he had already caught on, it was so obvious it made you want to dig a hole and jump in.Â
âAnyways,â you quickly said, eager to move onto a different topic.
âAnyways.â Arthur agreed, looking at you, eyebrows raised. âYou canât fool me, Iâve known it since the moment I met you.â
You let out an exasperated sigh, âWhat am I going to say to him?â you asked, looking to Arthur for help. He shrugged, âNo clue but you might want to think of something quickly because heâs walking over right now.â
âY/N?âÂ
You blinked as you came face to face with the person you wanted to see so badly for the last year and now that you were here facing him it felt like all the air in you had gotten sucked right out. He looked the same since the last time you saw him. In the last year you wanted to hate Ollie so much but it was impossible because you still loved him and that was the big terrible truth that you refused to admit.Â
âHi. Ollie.â you said, to not let the jumble of words that youâve kept in since the last time you saw him spill out. Arthur sent you a quick salute, âGotta go, Iâll see you afterwards, Y/N.â and with that he left you with Ollie in silence.Â
âWhat are you doing here?â Ollie finally asked, he was acting so . . . so normal. As if nothing had changed between the two of you.
âIâm here because Iâm your number 1 fan, remember?â you scoffed, looking up at him. A reminder of the time when you were both 10, Ollie gifted you a t-shirt at Christman with the words: âOllieâs No.1 fan.â plastered on it for you to wear to his karting races. It was sure to be buried deep in your wardrobe somewhere.Â
âYeah,â he breathed, âYeah you are.â guilt written all over his face.Â
âWhyâd you leave me then? Tell me the truth, did I do something wrong? Was I too normal for you?â you asked, questions pouring out of you.Â
âWe were best friends, how could you just leave me like that? Do I mean nothing to you? Because you were everything to me, my best friend, the first person who made me feel like I actually mattered to someone, so tell me, why did you abandon me?âÂ
Silence hung in the air as you stared up at Ollie. You wanted answers, perhaps it would be the only thing that would let you move on from him. He looked away, unable to meet your gaze. This was so. . . so unfair. You wanted to yell, scream at him even so he could feel even a fraction of the pain youâd felt in the past year.Â
âSo thatâs it? You donât even have an explanation?â you asked him, your voice shaking with anger it made your throat ache as you blinked back tears.Â
âI waited and waited for you to call me, to even send a message but that was a mistake. Youâll never love me in the same way that I love you.âÂ
Hot tears rolled down your cheeks, Ollie finally meeting your eyes as the three simple words left your lips.Â
Youâll never love me in the same way that I love you.
The world stopped like everything had been put on pause as you realised your mistake. You felt like youâd gotten hit on the head with a cricket bat.Â
âI have to go.â is all that left your mouth as you turned around. The ground was moving like a spinning wheel - a blurry mess of colours. It made you sick to your stomach as you walked away, your cheeks flushed hot and your forehead sticky with sweat. Ollie didnât even call out for you, nor run after you for an explanation because it was so blatantly clear what youâd just confessed to him.Â
You wished you could hate him, hate the fact that heâd left you, forgotten you like an old stuffed toy, you hated that he didnât love you.Â
You sat on the curb, clutching your knees outside of the entrance to the racetrack wallowing in self-pity. Wiping away tears that just kept falling down your face much to your distaste. The sun was beginning to disappear behind the buildings, the sky now a deep shade of orange. You stared at your feet, it was dumb, you shouldâve known that coming here to Jeddah was a mistake. Ollie had moved on, something that you hadnât done in the last year. You felt so stupid, why did you believe you could repair your friendship?
Why did you-
âExcuse me?â a voice interrupted your train of thought, you quickly wiped your tears and looked up to see Arthur standing beside you, a pitiful smile on his face. You looked away, âWhat do you want?â you grumbled, folding your arms across your chest bitterly. Arthur sat down beside you, watching you closely as you stared at the trees in the distance. He sighed, âThe race is about to start and Ollieâs not coming out of his driver room. Estelle said sheâd be here but sheâs not and heâs locked himself in.âÂ
The words hung heavy in the air, âAnd what does that have to do with me?â you asked flatly. You knew exactly what he meant. But you werenât going to do that, you were done with Ollie and everything to do with him.Â
âYou know exactly what it has to do with you. Did you really think Ollie forgot about you that easily? Youâre dumber than I thought.â he quipped unhelpfully.Â
âThanks,â you muttered miserably, Arthur winced.Â
âWhat I meant is that you canât give up this easily, you and I both know how stupid Ollie can be sometimes.âÂ
You chuckled softly, letting a tiny smile creep onto your face. Arthur wasnât wrong. When you and Ollie were both 8 you invited him over for Easter to make coloured eggs. It resulted in 20 cracked eggs on the kitchen tiles when Ollie accidentally knocked them off the bench. The two of you had stared at the mess on the ground before bursting out laughing until you were both in tears. It was safe to say that you both spent the next 2 hours scrubbing the tiles and the yolk that had stained the grout in between them.Â
âYeah.â you said softly, looking at the sun that had been swallowed by the top of the palm trees, the stars in the sky beginning to appear as you sat in the light underneath a lamp post.Â
âSo?â
âOkay, Iâll get him out of the room but after that Iâm out of here. I want to go home.âÂ
Arthur gave you a quick thumbs up as you raised your hand to knock gently on the door to the driverâs room. There wasnât a reply, only dead silence and thatâs when you heard it, crying from inside the room. 6-year-old you wouldâve kicked down the door and done anything to get to your best friend. But here you stood outside the room, sending hopeless glances at Arthur who was standing behind you.Â
âOllie?â you called out hesitantly, the crying halted and there was another long moment of silence. You pressed your ear up against the door, waiting for an answer.Â
âYeah?â his shaky voice replied, you breathed a sigh of relief. You turned around, beckoning Arthur to leave you both, he only nodded, mouthing âOKâ as he slipped down the hallway. Turning back to the driverâs room you took a deep breath in, you didnât want to go in. You didnât think you could face him after what happened earlier.Â
âYou came,â he said as your hand rested on the handle of the door but there was resistance, it was still locked.Â
âOf course, are you okay?â you asked, immediately regretting asking as soon as it left your mouth. You cursed yourself silently as you awaited Ollieâs answer. Soft sniffles came from the other side of the door, âYeah.â he finally replied quietly but loud enough for you to hear from the other side of the door.
What were you supposed to say to get him out of the driverâs room?
âEveryoneâs waiting for you, you canât stay in there forever.â you gently reminded him, sighing as you sat down, back leaning up against the door. There was another long moment of silence as you rested your head on the door, stretching your legs out for comfort.Â
âI donât think I can do it.â he said, taking you by surprise. The Ollie youâd known wasnât afraid of anything, he was confident in almost everything he did, almost it seemed.Â
âOliver, youâre being crazy. You are by far the most talented driver Iâve ever seen.â you told him, staring at the roof of the building as you heard a sigh from the other side of the door. âYouâre just saying that because youâre my girlfriend, Estelle.âÂ
You froze as if youâd just been stabbed by icicles, Ollie thought you were Estelle.Â
Of course. Heâd been expecting her, Arthur had told you before. You scoffed to yourself quietly, you wouldâve stood up and left if it wasnât the fact that you were here to get Ollie out of the driverâs room he had oh so nicely locked himself in. You let out a soft sigh as you racked your brain for what you should say to him.Â
âIâm not. Itâs the truth, Ollie.â you told him with a heavy heart, feeling as if you were just setting yourself up to get your heart broken all over again. You took a deep breath in, âYou are such an amazing driver itâs literally insane, not only that but youâre by far the kindest, most selfless person I know. Itâs crazy that you think you canât do this, because I know that you can. Ferrari chose you to drive for them for a reason, they know what youâre capable of, everyone else does too. I see you and youâre extraordinary, you have this spark inside you thatâs amazing. And . . . maybe thatâs the reason why I love you. I always have, and when I had the chance I shouldâve told you but I didnât because your friendship has always meant more to me than my own feelings.â you let out a shaky breath.Â
âYouâre a good person, Ollie. Youâve earned a chance to show the world just how great and insanely talented you are, are you really going to throw it away?âÂ
You blinked back tears, who knew you could get so emotional after giving such a life changing speech?
You rubbed your eyes and cleared your throat, letting out a deep sigh. It was time to leave now, Ollie would have realised by now that it was you who was speaking to him and not Estelle. As you began to get up, leaning against the door for support you heard a click!
Oh shit, was the only thought that went through your mind as you lost your footing and fell backwards, the door frame offering you no help at all as you grasped at it helplessly. You stared up at Ollie as you laid at his feet, a million thoughts racing through your mind. He was in his fireproofs with his race suit tied around his waist as he looked down at you, eyebrows knitted. There were tear stains on his flushed cheeks as he stared at you with those wide brown eyes youâd seen among the books all those years ago.Â
