Seeing all those posts and fanfics where the batkids, especially Dick, calls Clark "uncle Clark", made me think.

If Dick calls Clark "uncle Clark", he probably started doing it BEFORE he ever referred to Bruce as his father. After all, another uncle doesn't erase any existing one, but accepting Bruce as his father was erasing John Grayson in Dick's mind, for multiple years. It makes sense for Dick's confused feelings about his situation to call Clark "uncle" before calling Bruce "dad".

So, I present you: Bruce being envious of Clark because Dick refers to him with a family's title but Bruce is just "B".

And in the same continuity: Dick being envious of Jason calling Bruce "dad" so easily.

For Dick, it feels as if the word is stuck in his throat. He can say it to joke around with others ("let's steal dad's car" he tells Jason), but to Bruce's face? He's afraid the world would end.

The first person that every party member comes out to is Wayne Munson. Everybody except Eddie, who came out to Hopper first.

There wasn’t much left for Eddie in Hawkins after the events of that harrowing Spring Break. He woke up in the hospital to an empty room filled with pain. His broken ribs creaked and aches with each breath, a result of three rounds of CPR delivered by Steve’s hands he later found out, and even moving took all of his energy, a consequence of excessive blood loss via bat attack.

Before he could get his bearings, a flurry of government officials, cops, and mobs brimming with hatred surrounded him. Instead of being grateful for his miraculous survival like the kids were, they shoved him in a jail cell. He spent two weeks in a jail cell, being punished for a crime he didn’t commit and suffering nightmares on top of the already nightmarish situation.

Even when he’s freed from his cell due to Hopper’s demands and the righteous fury of both Steve and Robin, he’s only released into the prison of Hawkins. He had to stay in his trailer day in and day out to avoid people’s revenge and beatings. The kids were barred from seeing him by their parents, too afraid to have their children associating with the monster that might’ve killed those poor teens.

Wayne got fired from the plant after facing backlash and discrimination due to being related to “The Murdering Satantic Worshipper”. Soon enough, both Munsons were pariahs. Jobless, ridiculed, and harassed by the town they’d lived in for years, they had no real choice but to leave.

But when Eddie told Steve they were leaving, Steve refused to be left behind. He’d lost relationships in the past due to not fighting enough, he wouldn’t make the same mistake. When the time comes, Eddie, Wayne, and Steve pack up their vehicles and make their way out of the town that never understood them. One day, they might go back but until then, they would live the best lives they could in the only way they knew how. Together.

so obsessed with tim being forcibly made into a talon in revrob aus. like i was brainstorming ways to force tim to kill somehow because he has such a strong personal code that he wouldn’t, or he’d find some tricksy way around it, and one solution i got was just…. put him into a situation where he has literally no choice but to kill. make him into an unwilling talon. an owl sees baby tim on the rooftops talking with [robin]!damian and goes, oh, free baby talon.

Who does Griffin follow around when Finney, Gwen and Terrence are unavailable?

Bruce or PB are usually really good babysitters for Griff because they’re generally okay with handling kids because Bruce has a sister of his own and PB is around Griff’s age if not a little older so they usually get along well and have similar interests.

After the Upside Down and the hospital stays and the murder allegations, Steve and Eddie bonded. But Steve has an awful gaydar and Eddie has low self-esteem so neither one realizes the other one is interested. They flirt, awkwardly touch each other fleetingly, and neither one can tell if the other is interested!

So Robin and Steve start scheming for ways to make Eddie interested but it only serves to make him more frustrated. In turn, Eddie forces Wayne to help him seduce Steve. He goes to his uncle like, “I’m homo, I’m horny, and I need help!”

They realize they like each other after Robin and Wayne run into each other while spying on a date they helped their dinguses set up with each other.
