If you played the Luminary Wardance event of Honkai Star Rail 2.5, did it negatively impact your view of Boothill? And did you think it was written in character for him, or out of character?
Sadly a simple poll doesn't allow me QUITE as much nuance as I would like, so feel free to put opinions or questions in replies/tags/askbox me some shit or whatever. But I am very curious about the split between people who are big Boothill enthusiasts (know more lore/characterization) vs more casual fans as to whether you think it was in character or not!

I really don’t understand this obsession of making it look like Max or even Checo today, don’t like Carlos and hoped he wasn’t the one on podium. I get that you hate Carlos (for god knows why) and undermine him every time but why are you projecting your own hate for Carlos onto other drivers?
This isn’t just a one time thing either. It’s a recurring thing. This happens all the time especially with Max. They want Max to hate on Carlos so much that they’ll take half of what he has said about Charles and leave the good things he has said about Carlos out. They always pick and choose what Max or even Charles has said about Carlos to fit their narrative.
They will latch on to any negative comment or whatever (sometimes it isn’t even that deep or negative but they make it negative) anyone makes of Carlos but in the same time they leave out anything that’s positive in that very comment/article that they’re sharing.
I just don’t understand this. Like make it make sense.

I’ve tried like 500 times to articulate my thoughts about nonwhite superman and how much that adds to his childhood of loneliness and every time I hit a stumbling block because the topic makes me too insane to think but please hold my hand and imagine this little boy trying to grow up in rural Kansas and being the only person he’s ever known who looks like he does. This little boy who never has a proper answer when people ask where he’s really from, and even once he knows the truth of himself he can never safely share it. Please imagine him fighting every single day to belong and never being able to no matter how hard he tries because people will always find something questionable in the very way he looks. A lot of the superman mythos is dependant on Clark’s ability to assimilate but when you take that away what is left?? and it's great, if a little familiar, but you've read a lot of these sorts of fics bc you like this tag a lot, so you assume it's nothing
but then the deja vu starts adding up and you start to wonder
