i have an unpopular headcannon about Pandora and that's that I don't think she hated Voldemort, I actually think she admired him

and by that I don't mean that she agreed with his views or wanted to join the death eaters i just think she thought he was a brilliant wizard and she couldn't really blame anyone who did want to follow him and that's why she kept in contact with Evan, Barty and Regulus despite knowing their views

She was fascinated by the horcruxes so much that when Regulus first told her about it she jumped at a chance to help him. She told him she would find a spell to destroy a horcrux but really what if she wasn't trying to destroy it? what if she was trying to recreate it?

jegulus except regulus owns a notebook with all of his plans and research about horcruxes, how to find them, what to do with them. james is never allowed to touch it, because regulus always said the book was personal, and james respected that.

until one day, pandora hands him said book with a note stuck to the cover in regulus’ cursive lettering saying ‘you can read this now i’m gone.’ james doesn’t understand until he reads it all.

Evan has this one green sweatshirt that looks ethereal on him, and Barty can simply not pull his eyes away from Evan when he wears it. And this occurrence had been going on for a while, even before Barty and Evan were anything more than friends. For example, Regulus would just be talking to Barty during class, and then Barty’s gaze would just drift off to something beyond Regulus’ shoulder. And Barty would still appear to be “engaged” in the conversation, nodding along and saying the right things in the right places, but mentally his mind was miles away from Regulus and the conversation he was having. In reality, his mind was taking a stroll down much stranger lanes, and he can’t help but wonder what it would be like to hug Evan right now, what it would feel like. What it would feel like to lay on Evan’s chest in front of the fireplace in the common room, playing with the hoodie strings. What it would maybe feel like to take the hoodie off of Evan, pulling it over his head in one smooth motion. And Barty really really wants to steal that sweatshirt from Evan and wear it for himself. Maybe then that girl who was chatting Evan up right now would back off then, too. Barty doesn’t really know why he has a problem with her doing so, surely it’s a somewhat normal feeling to have though—and oh Regulus is expecting a response right now, better say the right thing—but surely it doesn’t mean anything. So really, there’s no reason to think twice about it. To think twice about any of those thoughts. So he continues to gaze at Evan with hearts in his eyes, his chin resting on his hand. Young Barty Crouch Jr was not one to look and act like a love struck fool (not just yet, anyways) but when it came to Evan in that olive green sweatshirt, Barty looked like the most foolish man on earth.

This post brought to you by the fact I was about to make a post about a scene I very vividly remember of Will Solace trying to convince Pollux not to keep fighting with his good arm broken before Percy manages to convince him not to bc he promised Dionysus, then thought to myself "huh maybe I should fact check that- I mean I did also convince myself that Travis stoll died in this battle when he actually just went to college." And guess what? That scene ✨️didn't happen.✨️ Pollux was trying to convince Percy to let him rejoin the fight very half heartedly, while propped against a tree, and Percy was just like "hmmmm... no"

Do you know that scene in the first captain america where Steve drinks an abandoned bar dry after bucky falls off the train? That but its Sirius after Regulus' death

Diagon Alley had been all but abandoned during the worst of the war, so when Pandora Rosier had wrote him and asked to meet in the old bar Sirius knew something was wrong. The girl who he had seen in hogwarts was decked in some kind of colour and crystals but the young woman in front of him was wearing all black.

"Regulus is dead. I can't tell you how or why but he'd want you to know he died doing the right thing." She told him, her voice cracking and looking ready to cry. She didn't say anything else and left the bar, he thinks she may have been crying, he couldn't be sure.

And Sirius couldn't say anything, couldn't do anything. Regulus was dead. His little brother was dead in some nameless grave somewhere. So he poured himself a firewhiskey and downed it. Went to pour himself another but decided to forgo the glass and just drink straight from the bottle. Was this what shock was?

He sat there in that bar half hoping some death eater would come and finish him off. He had promised to follow his brother anywhere. But, he had promised that James, not Regulus, in truth he hasn't followed Regulus in many years. So he keeps his wand on him and sends a patronus. Even years later he couldn't tell you who he sent it to but none the less Lily found him in that abandoned bar.

"It's not your fault, Sirius."

"You know what our family was like, right Evans?" He'd asked with a bitter laugh.

"Yes?" She responded eyeing him with worry.

"Then you know that's not true," He told her before taking another swig of the firewhiskey. Lily sighed before sitting down next to him, she eye'd the bottle with envy, right she'd been pregnant with a mini prongs and she's was still there cleaning up his mess.

"You did everything you could, you cannot save someone who didn't want to be saved," She told him and gave him a look when he tried to cut her off. "Do not disrespect your brother by second guessing him. He made his choice. We both know he was involved with Dumbledore's schemes somehow. He died and he did it doing the right thing. Let Regulus keep his dignity in death, if he died for a cause, you know he would've only done it for something he thought was worth it. Now lets go home, it's bloody cold out here."

There were no more words that Sirius could give to his dead little brother. There were no words that would bring him back. There were no words that were worth it all. So he didn't say anything to Lily just nodded his head and brought the bottle with him when they left.

i have so many things to say about the confrontational pie scene but to surmise: while i may somewhat understand s1lvie's frustration over mobius' overall seemingly flippant attitude, i do not actually think mobius deserves to be framed as though he did not care abt the state of things simply because he chose not to seek how his life was like on the timeline. mobius' interest to not see how his life was like is well within his right, something he gave viable reason not to pursue, and, most importantly, will not have swayed him either way to fight for the life he has now and/or what the tva could stand for when the multiverse war is on its way. s1lvie's undermining his efforts was not okay when mobius opened season two with him wanting to safely monitor and defend new branches against strong, unsure voices like dox
