Fuck American healthcare. Fuck a system that murders a man who was only in his 50's. Fuck a system that murders a brother, an uncle, a father and a grandfather. Fuck a system that lies to his children and pressures them to sign off on his death. Fuck a system that tries to pressure those children to donate his organs when he wasn't an organ donor. Fuck a system that tries to bury their mistakes under a pile of paperwork until it's too late. Fuck a system that kills a man who did everything right and died because he did everything right.

Today is the one year anniversary of my uncle's death. And I learned today he was fucking murdered. He was murdered and they tried to make his children allow them to harvest his organs. I had just found my maternal family again a few years ago and then he was gone. I never got to say goodbye. He was murdered by selfish doctors and nurses, who lied and said he had no brain activity, who said his reactions to his children's voices were just reflexes.

I've never in my life wanted to see someone suffer before. But I so very badly want to find every single fucking doctor and nurse responsible for my uncle's needless death and watch them fucking

I just want to say how incredibly heart breaking it is that Edwin's disappearance was labeled an "act of god". Like the school and police and possibly even his family just decided since he might possibly be gay that god just took him. Like he somehow deserved what happened to him or was asking for it. He deserved so much better and I'm so glad he's loved for who he is now and found a family to love and take care of him.
