I'm honestly really excited about team PICS (or whatever they called now) in the watching the trainwreck kind of way.

it might be the time when scott's primary strategy of "buuuut I'm being sooo nice to yooooouuu, and now you would feel reeeeally reeeeally baaaad if you aren't nice to me, wouldn't youuuuu?" might just... not work. and not only for the server as a whole, but inside his own team too (not that he is all that nice to them in the first place, lol).

I feel, that if pearl and impulse will continue to be the scheming menaces they are (as they should), other people will gradually get annoyed at their team as a whole, just as scott will get more and more frustrated with his team. like, don't get me wrong, this session the general attitude to scott as individual seemed to be annoyed at his teammates but mostly friendly. and he in turn was apologising and complaining about his own team and saying something along the lines of "yeah, yeah I'll try to keep them in check". poor poor scott they are "making him work overtime in the social department", his quote btw. (like yeah, dude whatever, no one asked for that, go gather resources or something lol)

But I really hope his typical "social games" (whatever that means) won't work for long this season. I hope his usual goody two-shoes attitude won't help him and people will start being apprehensive and hostile.

I think there are two main ways how this can play out. he either will have to basically renounce or betray his team (if they won't do that to him first, lol) or he'll just have to give in and play his own role by supporting them. I'm hoping for the second option with his recent spiteful determination to keep his team together (and maybe even some kind of a villain ark for him). buuuut we all know this won't happen as he will probably probably find some kind of boring "pseudo heroic" way out of it. he'd rather kill, wait, sorry "heroically sacrifice" himself once again, than accept the role of a villain of the story. He is too blinded by his own self-righteousness to understand the motivations people can have for their actions, if they don't fall into his category of morally or at least strategically right and good.

3. no peril gets in the way of jim being able to tease spock

speaking of stiles stilinski, the way the entire fandom like. warped his character completely for so many years is still one of my favorite talking points because what do you MEAN pack mother. what do you mean he’s this selfless hero who would sacrifice himself for his supernatural found family…???????????? girl. 90% of the characters we’ve met he’s either distrusted and theorized as killers (most of the time being right to some length but that’s beyond the point) like a cat who hisses when their owners friends come over, and the other half he’s like. made multiple comments about wanting to kill or been. unnecessarily catty to. like . that motherfucker CRAVES violence. the entire show would’ve been completely fucking different if he was the main character. why did the fandom take these things from him when they make him SO interesting

Since I'm back in my teen wolf obsession after the movie I'm just gonna say it. The vitriolic hatred for both Scott McCall and Tyler Posey was just fucking racism. There was literally no reason to hate them so much and every excuse I've seen people have for hating Scott is that he didn't center himself around Stiles (his white friend) more.

Scott McCall's only flaw was that he loved his friends too much and he was too trusting and forgiving of people.

I'm all for ship and let ship but Tyler is right about Sterek being weird. Stiles was a minor and Derek was at least 20-23 and as a former Sterek shipper who has seen the light. I don't blame Tyler. Y'all got hella annoying with that ship.

Stiles and Derek did not like each other. They only tolerated each other because of Scott. Derek literally says he only came back to beacon hills for Scott. Y'all let Dylan and Tyler Hoechiln convince you otherwise.

Also people hating Scott is another case of white people having this weird issue with not being able to relate to a poc character because y'all literally take all of Scott's traits and give them to Stiles (because mostly I only see white people hating him and a few people of color)

The "iconic" baseball batt and red hoodie y'all love to give Stiles is literally what Scott was wearing in episode 1 of Season 1

Stiles and Dylan O'Brien were not the face of Teen Wolf. It is Tyler and Scott. Hell for example the sims 3 Supernatural. The werewolf on the cover looks like season 1 Scott.

I LOVE Stiles but those certain Stiles fans have put a sour taste in my mouth for the character.

Also the "Scott McCall is a bad friend" tag is so dumb cause Stiles and every other character on that show would laugh in your face if you tried to tell them that

Do you guys ever stop and think about how out of all of Avril Lavigne's songs out there they chose Complicated for Wallace to sing? Like you'd think they'd give him Girlfriend, the ultimate boyfriend-stealer song, or any of her badass "I-don't-give-a-fuck" songs, but no, the chosen song is a soft ballad about unrequited love, where the singer is frustrated with a guy who always acts like someone he's not and who "looks like a fool to him" because of that. Like him singing Girlfriend would have made perfect sense, he's known for being a boyfriend-stealer and there was an entire episode dedicated to that. But no, they went for an angsty pining song. Look, I'm not saying Wallace was singing about his stupid oblivious roomate who always acts like a fool and keeps making things complicated, but...

This may be a controversial opinion but we need to normalize and have more “bitchy” girls in media who aren’t complete assholes but labeled bitchy by everyone else because they have a rougher attitude than most people. We need more girls who don’t have to become nice by the end of the story to get their happy ending.

I don’t owe anyone niceness. I owe them respect and decency. Those things do not equate to niceness. Maybe it’s the depression talking but I cannot be upbeat and happy all the time. I shouldn’t be expected to greet everyone with a hello and a smile at my workplace. But especially in retail if you so much as say hi with a straight face you’ve got attitude or are being mean. Take it from a childhood people pleaser, I lost my sense of self trying to be nice and perfect for everyone. Doing so was one of the reasons I got so burnt out at my last job. We don’t owe you niceness.

I think what really upset me of being a c!Scott enjoyer on tumblr (the place known for c!Scott hate for some reason idk) isn't the hate itself (some people do gives valid criticisms. Many I also disagree with but valid nonetheless) it is the fact that I never see this type of criticism for any other life series character besides Scott. It's always "This is why Jimmy is so reckless in the life series" or "This is why The red king wasn't truly evil in 3rd life" but never any hate like the amount c!Scott gets. (Which is another issue but that's not relevant)

Come on tumblr it's not all black in white here!!

Let's talk about Jimmy's reckless behavior and how it does much more harm than good. Let's talk about Joel with his uncontrollable anger issues that only leads to the death of himself and others he cares about. LET'S TALK ABOUT PEARLS UNHEALTHY OBSESSIVE BEHAVIOR TOWARDS HER ALLIANCES!!

Let's really get in there and dissect all of these characters like they're pigs and frogs in a science class!

If I had to pick any Batman character to return after being forgotten it'd be Bette Kane. (Helena Wayne already has been replaced by Bertinelli and Lance is just like. What do you do with that concept)

Like I know she hasn't been forgotten forgotten but she's even less popular than Harper, and as much as I love Harper I have to admit being less popular than her is pretty much a death sentence for a character. Especially with the attempts to erase her and replace her in the past (killing Kathy and replacing her with Kate, creating Barbara, giving a Robin a sassy blonde love interest/rival vigilante). It's honestly a miracle that she's still here.

But like as I mentioned in a previous post, she was the first Batgirl with Dick Grayson's Robin. Then he became Nightwing and she became Flamebird (granted in the comic lore it was a whole set of events but yada yada). I could go on a tangent on her personality and reasons to love her but simply put: Nightwing and Flamebird are twin gods. Neither was ever meant to exist without the other. Give Nightwing his Flamebird. Make them buddies again PLEASE.
