The downside of my Applemedia week fic being Roseverse related is that it is only going to be accessible to like twenty people so it seems pointless to bill it as an applemedia week fic because there is NO WAY to write it without all that set-up WHICH IS FINE. If I wanna play in my AU, I can do it, but there is always that mortifying feeling of being too deep in my AU cups and just looking like a weird little freak too invested in HER off-shoot canon to write things that don’t have a million words of set-up.

#admittedly this happens with LitMoR too #like I get very invested in my little separate worlds and I have a harder time wanting to write stuff outside of it #because I have so much set-up and worldbuilding RIGHT THERE #so every idea I have is filtered through well this could be a scene in that universe #and its fine!#ITS ALL FINE!!!#cringe is dead if she flops she flops #no one cares but me #the diminishing returns the longer an AU gets just gets disheartening #not enough to make me stop #I think I just need a nap
