okay im late to the party but like. are y'all taking claire/carmy seriously? bc like all this narrative framing is presenting a very clear choice between claire and the restraunt. this is not even me having my syd/carmy hat on (tho, yea it's on), im talking about the actual commitment that carmy has to the restraunt. everyone is concerned about his focus (the fridge as the most obvious example), and carmy keeps saying that he is focused but claire is always there (as a thought or a phone call if not in person). she literally calls him as he is about to call the fridge guy in ep9. the one thing that everyone's been asking him to do, and while he doesn't answer her call, it distracts him and then he gets distracted further by something else. this is Right After the big talk with uncle jimmy about focus. this can't be any more obvious.
im not saying i dislike claire, im saying the show is not presenting her as an actual character. like. this is 100% a set up for carmy having to choose between claire (a stand in for a normal life/personal happiness) and the restraunt (the restraunt)
#literally she's an er resident#AN ER RESIDENT#how does she have just oodles of free time to hang out with carm and#always be there at the exact right moment? where's the missed calls and the sorry can't tonight's on her end?#she could have had any other profession and it wouldve been more realistic#that's just a personal pet peeve of mine sorry#again there's nothing wrong with her im not trying to bash her#this is just the logical conclusion of the narrative clues im sorry#the bear#also the fact that she's been in a lot of scenes#and i feel like i know more about tiff than claire#and tiff's been in like 2 scenes total (up to ep 9)#claire's basically just carmy's girlfriend#like it feels like she has no wants or needs of her own? idk

A little tidbit on Nat. (It turned into other things.) Spoilers for the whole season of The Bear as I'm just a stream of thoughts at this point!
No, helping with childbirth does not heal or bond you to a narc long term. It's a TV show that prides itself on realism but still has a narrative to follow.
I was not moved by Donna that episode. Because in the real world, if Nat's baby has an allergy or some shit, Donna is the type to say that's dumb and kill her own grandchild because she can't be wrong.
Nat has always been empathetic. How did she ignore all the shit she did? I get that she's pregnant, but like... she's not the first person ever to be that way. She never came across as self absorbed to me? She kept on asking Cicero what she could do to stop the hemorrhaging. I don't know, Nat, TELL CARMY NO? If there's no money, there's no money. If he doesn't like that answer tell him to get outside investors who aren't his fucking uncle. Carmy is not an unruly baby, he's a 30 year old man.
Anyone else think these were different characters this season? Beyond just Carmy's regression.
I got the impression that Tiff and Frank had been dating for more than a year or so. In what world would Richie think he should butt out of Evie's life and become a DEAD BEAT DAD just because Josh Hartnett's fine ass got in his face?
Affording a home without the help of parents and being called lonely by your 6 year old means you want to shirk your responsibilities? I know that Richie was concerned about being left behind, but I didn't get the impression that he would abandon his kid. The Richie I grew to know and love would fight heaven and earth for that little girl.
Claire, bitch, I hope you're thriving. Being with Carmy seems like a fate worse than death!
There was such a malaise this season, damn. Moreso from the production side of things--they seemed lost and confused about what they were trying to do. Maybe they should have a sit down in the writer's room, think about why they thought giving 99 percent of the comedy to the Faks and why they DIDN'T HAVE CARMY TRY TO EXPLAIN HIMSELF ONCE OR SEND A SORRY TEXT TO CLAIRE GODDAMN. His inability to face up to his mistakes was tolerable for the first few episodes, but it quickly turned unsympathetic after fucking EVERYONE SAID CARMY LOVED HER and Claire had me siding with her because Carmy didn't tell her shit! He's a big boy and not a baby. Also: HOW LONG IS STORER AND CO GONNA DRAG OUT THE INFANTILIZATION OF THIS GROWN ASS WHITE MAN?
ALSO, WHY COULDN'T WE AT LEAST GET RICHIE AND CARMY MAKING UP?? LITERALLY NOTHING WAS RESOLVED. I feel like if they didn't have season 4 in the bag, this wouldn't be the case.

for sydcarmy truthers , I want to talk about Claire .
please get ready , claire story doesn´t make any sense .
like I said before , I lived a similar experience with carmen , but also there´s some differences .
so let´s see what I didn´t understand about claire :
first thing we know :
claire grew up with the berzatto family and she knows all of them even the faks , cicero , stevie , richie , tiff , god be good she knows everybody related to carmy and she always leave a good impression on them . emmmm , and this is not a good thing , because this makes her know what kinda life carmen had , and at least she must be the one who understand him but sadly no , she didn´t understand him and she can´t and she will not , because he is a human being with heart and soul and mind and feelings , he is not just a broken muscle , that you can fix it with science ....
second:
claire is not carmen girlfriend .
carmen was a shy boy , I swear he didn´t make any eye contact with claire back to school , he was just crushing on her like any one of us was crushing on someone when we were young . and since he was lonely child in a big family , he was maybe close to claire and not because he drew her that makes him in love with her . the berzattos just wanted him to open up and has a girlfriends in his life but everything went wrong and claire believed herself and believed that carmen is in love with her . and she becomes his unofficial girlfriend , she becomes the berzattos girlfriend and not carm´s.
third point :
according to my understanding , claire didn´t see carmen for long time , more than 5 years I swear , suddnely she appears in s2 and they quickly kiss , they quickly make out , and quickly goes to carm appartement , and they did everything quickly ,like hold on guys you didn´t even be a proper boyfriend and girlfriend , even you are not an ex . just imagine you meet your childhood crush after 10 years and you make out with him out of nowhere.
the only explanation I have is :
carmy was horny at that time and he still of course ,because did you find it weird is that after seeing syd or talk to her , he goes to claire and they do their intimate things like he is projecting his hidden desires on claire :
forth point :
claire baby , did you stayed all that period without a boyfriend in the college or in the hospital , like come on all the doctors must have a list of exs , claire did you wait for carm , didn´t she put a possibility that he may has a girlfriend .
another point :
s2 last episode : carmen didn´t say anything wrong to claire , he was describing what he feels , and at that moment we should see claire staying with him , calming him , waiting for him and support him , but instead we get how she gonna deal with him , she just left him , and she was crying and she made everyone blaming carm and she even told tiff about what happened with wrong facts.
claire has 0 understanding with carm
just watch this :
when you wake up in the morning you can prepare something for your boyfriend if you feel he is anxious
this carm and claire in the morning :
this is carm and syd :
you feel the difference ha.
we have carm and syd cooking together /we have carm cooking alone for claire
we have claire sitting in the table with make up and elegant clothes having fun and carmen serves her / we have syd stressing in the kitchen
and many thingssssssssssss.
fact : claire doesn´t make sense to me .

MY S3 PREDICTIONS
quite simple
Seriously, my prediction is quite grim. I think this season, Carmy is going to be hearing the voice of his former boss in his head constantly while he tries to run the Bear like his restaurant in NYC and dive deep into depression because that is obviously going to destroy him.
I think Carmy is gonna start the season heartbroken and shit, then Richie (our man) will compel him to seek Claire because obviously Claire can fix him 🤮 Claire will come back because she has no self-respect and is an over giver who wants with an overtaker.
They are gonna date for a while and Carmy is gonna try to make it work and be happy.
Then, the trauma is gonna hit him hard, a manic episode or really bad depressive episode, maybe the pressure of the restaurant and critics (he hates that feeling). Still, because he is supposed to feel good (he has everything he has ever wanted, Claire, his brother's restaurant), he will not ask for help.
Springle here. Sydney may be dating Luca, and Carmy feels bad for having feelings for her or being jealous. His relationship with Claire never had a solid base, and he is starting to feel it. He doesn’t think he can talk to her about his depression. Also, considering Claire never advised Carmy on therapy when she witnessed his previous panic attacks, I am curious how she will manage being with him at his actual lowest.
And then, he is gonna have a dark moment. Maybe even setting the bear on fire (it was foreshadowed real hard) or even have a suicide attempt. Maybe is something people have to save him from.
And then, he is gonna think of Mickey, ask himself what his brother would tell him (there is a flashback episode with Mickey put it here).
Either way, Mickey, Sydney, something else, may want to make him see the light. Find the strength to fight back.
The rest I don’t know. I wonder if he is gonna cut people off through the season because he is back mentally at nyc suffering under his horrible boss (you should be dead”) and that is gonna hurt like shit. His friendship with Sydney may get closer, since she convinces herself that Carmy should be with Claire (Carmy said she was great, and so does everyone else). She may want to keep him as a mentor and partner, while Carmy realizes he wants more than that (hell yeah)
For Sydney, I want to see her being the leader that she is and finding her unique culinary voice. She should find a real mentor, propel herself (maybe in another restaurant to learn), and realize she can do this without Carmy. Give her a good love story and tell me the one that broke her heart. There should be a Syd-centered episode.
other things, not in order of importance:
I want Marcus to grieve and heal.
More about Luca's storyAngel and Sweeps more screentime.
I want the Bearzatto family to see Carmy's struggle/actual date preferences
Claire realizing how she chases men will hurt her.
I want our man Richie to become the greatest SydCarmy stan, but mostly Syd stan, because they may get close that season.
I think Richie may try to get Tiff back.
Also, justice for Nat, with Francine Fack and others. I want her to stand up to Donna.
Syd and Luca going on dates/sleeping together
Tina being like a mom to Syd
Nat and Syd being sisters to each other
Carmy meeting Emmanuel
Emmanuel being Carmy's and Richie's father figure
A little bit of Cicero mafia
Cicero a Syd stan
Nat's baby and Syd supporting her and encouraging her as a mother
Auntie Syd!
Syd and Donna meeting

I rewatched Richie and Tiff's scene from "fishes" today (the one they have in Donna's bedroom), after binging the show recently, and I realized I had overlooked something, because there was so much going on and it was exhausting. Something about Carmy. Richie and Tiff talk about him, how he made sprite for her, but instead of praising him, they just keep saying he's weird and why would you try to get him to date Claire when she's so nice. And even though I wish Richie had said something good about Carmy, I don't hold it against him because that's what their relationship was like then and we know how much he loves him. But I feel like, from the start, I had been taking Richie's side, in a way, because he was so funny and interesting to watch, he was this loser looking for a purpose and I could not not root for him. I was rooting for Carmy too, but when we met him he's already a big time chef, he's made it in the world, we know he's talented and successful and too good for the Beef. He's this man who Richie has known since forever that's younger than him but has achieved so much more and is now his boss, how can Richie not feel shitty about it? So, I watched the show hoping Richie would earn Carmy's respect, get some self-esteem back. But I think I got it wrong. I think he already had Carmy's respect, but Carmy didn't had his.
I believe that, when you grow up around someone, no matter how many years pass, you will always be who you were to them, and no matter how much you change, you will always regress a little when you're with them, back to that old dynamic. The Carmy we met is not the one Richie knows. His Carmy is shy and bad with people, lonely and artsy and different. He's Mikey's baby brother, always following him around and trying to get his attention. Always on the defensive, because they do give him a hard time (assholes). He's young, he's short, he's… weird (as if they're all so normal!) And Carmy's Richie is not this middle aged divorced man with nowhere to go. He's someone that became part of his family because Mikey of all people loved him so much. He was his best friend, his right hand man at the restaurant, always part of his stories. I believe when Carmy said "I always thought my brother was my best friend, except everybody thought he was their best friend" he was thinking of Richie specifically. How could he not be hurt by that? Richie had what Carmy wanted, and he could have simply hated him, but he saw his good qualities, the ones he was lacking ("he believes in you, he said you're good with people") He never rejected Richie the way he did Pete, for example. And it's different but it's the same because Pete's an outsider who became part of the family through (Natalie's) love, but they don't like him (which I think it's super unfair btw).
And what I didn't realize at first was that Carmy was also looking for Richie's approval, not just Mikey's. That's why when Richie judges him and calls him Donna in the finale it hurts him so much, not because how dares this loser lecture him, but because his opinion matters. He screams about how Richie is nothing without him and how much Richie needs him as a defense mechanism, because he's so afraid of not being needed by the people he loves and he needs Richie too (of course it makes him furious when Richie says it). Even in the first episode he's like "how fucking dope is that, cousin?" like did you see what I did? did you see how I brought all these clients to the restaurant? He insults him, but he listens to him, asks for his help, cares what he thinks. Meanwhile Richie scofs at Carmy's achievements, partly because they make him feel less than, and partly because this is Carmy, so how impressive can this really be? Just some pretentious shit he learned from people as pretentious and weird as him. Until "forks". Until he finds purpose in a place where Carmy is so respected that there's a picture of him framed. And later Richie tells him "I get it" and I thought 'how nice he finally understands what Carmy is trying to do and how they want the same thing now' but it's so much more than that. He finally gets the importance of what Carmy has done, how difficult it was, how amazing he is. For the first time he saw Carmy from the outside, not like the kid he knew but like we the audience see him, and understood. Maybe that helped with his self-esteem also, because having Carmy as his boss doesn't mean he's a loser, it means he works with the best.
Anyway, I hope at some point we get to see Richie defending Carmy when he hears someone talk shit about him, or just talk proudly about him to someone, maybe even to Tiff, to show his growth.
And I know Richie said "you're all I've got" and Carmy said nothing back and I felt so bad for Richie, but Carmy's just not used to that, he doesn't know how to react, because that is -was- not how they talk to each other. But he's trying so hard to not be shitty and to be there for the others while his mind is screaming at him that he's a failure and needs to give up joy if he wants to feel like he has value, because his self worth is so tied to his job that he'd choose it over love... Idk I think it's very important not only that Richie loves him, but that he values and respects him, because these are two very different things and Carmy isn't used to getting that from him. Mikey never told Carmy "good job" like he wanted so badly to hear, but Richie could.
#the bear#richie jerimovich#carmy berzatto#the bear fx#i'm going crazy thinking how all along richie had carmy's respect and carmy had richie's love#but carmy failed to show his love to richie and to open up emotionally and richie failed ro respect him until the last part of the season

Gooooodnight! Did you manage to finish watching the movie after all? What do you think?
Dear Ford v. Ferrari Anon,
Just finished it, after four failed attempts to get into the right mood - local time, 1:45 AM, Thursday morning. As you might know, Cancer people are very stubborn (even pertinacious) people and I am no exception to the rule.
I now totally understand why so many people wondered if I was really watching it, or confessed they could be remotely interested in doing so for about ten minutes, tops. The start is horrifically lackadaisical and I hit stop four times in a row, increasingly frustrated and feeling like a brain scattered idiot. But if you persist, this little movie, eons away from my world, could actually surprise you for the better.
Three tiny things redeemed it from the scrapheap for me: a) the Sixties, b) that Mad Men aesthetics and c) Lee Iacocca. Once this very familiar guy hit the screen, I knew I would be glued to whatever shite happened on it for the duration. Mind you, not the actor (entirely forgettable), but the business honcho whose Autobiography I read by complete accident at around 16. My brain could finally relate to something and start to make sense out of a completely alien, bloody mess. Slowly, excruciatingly slowly, things began to emerge: the script is so fucked up, I couldn't help but wonder what possessed someone as discerning as C to go for it. Other than a ferocious will to be there (anywhere, really), for further consideration, of course.
This is an underdog story through and through, and with a little bit of luck it could have been Oscar material. The reason it isn't so relies entirely on the writer's frail shoulders: I can't be arsed to check whodunit, but that person clearly bit more than they could ever chew. No Christian Bale and no Matt Damon could have dragged that script to Premier League, no matter how hard the effort. And the same person who wrote that Bale presented himself at the TIFF as a sociopathic boor has always deeply appreciated his past stellar performances (Empire of the Sun immediately comes to mind, of course). Seriously, I did and this movie is no exception: he is way better than I would have expected, especially when compared to a disappointing Damon.
What about C, then? In this very Anglo-Saxon sports stew, let's say she is an indispensable condiment, despite the absolute lack of chemistry with Bale and the sometimes formulaic presence, allowing for simplistic and expected dramatic solutions to complex situations. As in S's case, she sometimes drags along her Claire Fraser mannerisms, although less conspicuously than in Belfast elsewhere (or was it because we really don't get to see her a lot?). This particular script left me hungry for more, and not in a good way. She was very much there, she clearly worked very hard for it and yet, it feels as if she were obliterated, for some reason. That film didn't do her justice and scenes like the car tantrum could only give you a sort of nostalgic 'what if' idea:
youtube
Easily my favorite C scene of the whole movie (spoiler: there aren't many at all). But let's be blunt, here: if you have no idea about who C is, no OL mystique to boot and you just watch that movie leisurely, you'd blink twice and miss her. And not remember her at all, perhaps.
Would I recommend it? I am not sure, despite Bale's Golden Globe nomination and two rather technical Oscars (for Film and Sound Editing). It could be me, after all and sports movies have never been my jam. It's a decent way to fill in two hours and a half of emptiness, but not nearly good enough for a re-watch. I'd be merciful and give it ⭐⭐/5. For the Sixties, my Paradise Lost.
Happy, Anon?

Hello lovelies,
First off, I’d like to thank everyone who has volunteered to help with the reconstruction efforts in town. It is in times like these that we get to see the town coming together as one and make the best of things. Sadly, it appears that even in the face of tragedy, the reporting never stops—you all have been quite busy sending information my way to sort through.
We all are very much aware about Miss Josie Reigh’s antics at the last town event, causing the Garcia brothers to come to blows over her, with my sources telling me that the two have just now become on speaking terms again. It must have been quite rough on the oldest considering he’s about to become a father of what I hear is quite the bunch of babies. For a moment, I was convinced that he had knocked two women up, until Miss Reigh very publicly declared who the father of her child actually is. A warning to the masses: if you decide to go home with Mercy Wainwright, you should know that he may be lying about his sterility, if Miss Reigh’s literal slap to the face is to be believed. Thankfully, it seems her new boytoy was able to reign her in. Her taste in men may be questionable, to say the least, but Gabriel Westfall seems harmless enough. At least the baby is going to the lovely Chris and Emma Winters, which is a much more stable home environment, considering how much family they now have to help support them.
Moving on to another frequent flier in our column, Jessica Sinclair has reportedly set her sights on yet another man, repeatedly spotted being quite cozy with Jerico Leeds. However, it seems the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree considering she appears to have more of her parents’ adulterous ways in her than she likes to advertise. We all know that the eyes of young men have a tendency to wander when a pretty face is involved, but I don’t think that Bellaluna Darling will be too happy with how you seem to be trying to place yourself directly in her man’s line of sight. Jessie, sweetie, he may be nice, but you of all people should know better than to try to steal another girl’s boyfriend.
Not to insinuate that the menfolk are the only ones capable of infidelity, which is a lesson that Hunter Hilton seems to have learned the hard way after only weeks of declaring Valeria Moreno as his girlfriend. The two were spotted at the festival holding hands only to end up arguing about her other bedroom partners which, as we have previously reported, are both varied and plentiful. No official news of a breakup has been reported, but he was seen storming off after their dispute which I can only assume means the two just weren’t meant to be. Especially since we do have reports that Miss Moreno has upgraded one of her other conquests to the role of boyfriend. Congratulations to Cain Barlowe for locking down quite the popular young lady.
However, I did have my doubts that Mr. Hilton and Miss Moreno were even an item to begin with. Word on the street is that the actual heartbreak to report is between him and one Guillermo Reyes. Sadly, Mr. Reyes doesn’t seem to have changed much since high school. Allegedly, he’s dating Eagan Connolly, but based on what the crowd saw Mr. Hilton and Mr. Reyes had quite the explosive breakup at the festival. Apparently, the name Liam Jefferson came up more than once, so it looks like Mr. Hilton just can’t move past that rejection. Although I do have to side with him in this instance. If my boyfriend punched me in public, I would also tell him to fuck off and snap at him that we’re done.
Now, if you think that relationship drama is a young person’s game, I would beg to differ on behalf of our older residents. I was volunteering as usual at the resident home and was told about quite the tiff between Claire Forbes and Phoenix Romero-Sawyer. It seems their friendship ended due to the former’s unreturned feelings for the latter. However, I do think we might need to have our residents' eyes checked, because the Romero that Miss Forbes has been seen with as of late is not our fire captain, but our game warden Mallard Romero. Miss Forbes is teaching us a valuable lesson here: if you can’t have the one that you want, you can always settle for someone who looks just like them.
In lighter news, congratulations are in order to Antonio Estrada Jr and Mylene Karimi! It looks like all that was needed for these two to run off into the sunset together was to leave the Commune, and so we wish them the best in their engagement, and that they continue to enjoy their newfound freedom. They sure do look a lot happier than Sandra Quispe. The poor thing seems so stressed despite the new help around the house.
Finally, while things in Huntsville can never go as expected, I’m sure none of us expected to see movie star Joey Albright step into our small town. The man hardly looks a day over 35, and it appears the reason for his arrival is none other than our very own Hope MacGillivray. Let us all celebrate another happy couple enjoying their engagement. Although the two may want to avoid the local police department if they want to stay happy and engaged.
Lovelies, with all the tragedy in our town, it really is great to see so much love going around. Good luck again to all who are helping with reconstruction efforts and try not to give the Reyes Ortega twins too much trouble. They really are doing the best that they can in that family.
Love, Auntie G.

Watching Cult of Chucky
I'm watching Cult of Chucky and damn I feel bad for Andy (I'm watching the movies out of order (meaning the ones with Jennifer Tilly) so I have very little idea who he is)
Poor Nica she deserves so much better
All, she and Tiffany have so much in common, they've both been electrocuted🥺
The scenery in this is so eerie and awesome 👀
I think Carlos is gonna die, but I kinda like him😔
Awwwwwww he gave her gum 🥺
The lady who's acting like she's invisible creeps me out and Nica is already nicer than me, cause I would've said no when asked if I could see her
Michael is weird, I don't trust him, and I'm guessing he's gonna do something with that gum
Oh damn, now they're having sex😭😭😭 I mean good for Nica, but I will always ship her and Tiffany 😂
Yup, Angela is creepy as hell
OH SHIT CHUCKY'S COMING FOR NICA👀👀👀
Oh shit
YOU IDIOT (THE DOCTOR) I think he's in league with Chucky
Michael is me😭😭😭 (hiding in his sweatshirt when the girl starts hugging the doll)
Madeleine is definitely gonna get killed by the doll
Nica is so nice 🥺🥺
Nica's totally wondering who she had sex with😂😂😂
Oh no, she's got a visitor 👀👀
TIFFANY!!!!
Tiffany is seizing Nica up👀
Tiffany being told she doesn't seem motherly (she's like wtf)😂😂
Tiffany's eyes when Nica asks how Alice is🥺 like for a moment she felt bad for her
NOOOOO ALICE IS DEAD?😭😭😭
Her fake tears when she realizes she's supposed to be more emotional than she is😂😂
Damn, she's really telling Nica her niece died of a broken heart, knowing full well it was Chucky (I still love her tho)
Damn Tiff😂 she really just put Chucky on Nica's lap? Nica just can't catch a break 😭😂
The way she's like 'this is so sweet' and then just leaves😂
Oh she 💯 said the good luck to Chucky
I love how when she loves someone, she loves them with her whole heart, but she absolutely deserves better 🥺
Oh noooooo not Carlos 🥺🥺
They really should have the sharps in a more secure place
The way Chucky is taken aback from Angela saying he shouldn't be afraid of her😂 he's like the AUDACITY
She moved up his list 😂😂😂😂
The thing I find so funny about Chucky is that he has no chill for bullshit or someone being stupid
Rip Angela you were a hoot
Oh damn, Andy tried to help Nica🥺
The way Nica just realized that Valentine is Tiffany 👀
Well that's terrifying (the
I love how Malcolm says to just stay positive 😂
The way he's Mark Zuckerberg 😂😂😂
Well shit, Claire is 💯 gonna die
Nica and Malcolm tried to tell you🙄(the way she believes them now)
Nooooooo Malcolm 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
Dr. Foley sucks
Yeah, Claire you're gonna die
Oh thank god, Malcom is alive
OH SHIT CHUCKY'S MALCOLM NOW? SHIT
Ok that skylight is low-key awesome, and I wouldn't mind a psych stay just for that view alone lol😂😂
Awwww, Chucky's wittle running
Oh no, compressed air? (ngl I was thought that he was gonna inject her or something)
The way Andy just realized that Chucky is able to possess multiple dolls👀(it did answer my question of how Chucky is able to possess the doll and
Yeah, this doctor is 💯 in league with Chucky & Tiffany
Oh fuck no, he's been assaulting Nica? (And probably his other patients too) HELL NO ASSHOLE
Forget my previous assumptions that he was with Chucky and Tiffany
You know he's a sick dude when even Chucky is appalled
Poor Nica, she just can't win
Damn, Madeleine is nursing Chucky? 😂
TIFFANY!!! I love her sm
The way she does a little shake when she says both her names😂
I truly adore her
If I can be around you all the time, Tiffany/Jennifer, I would happily join the cult
Oh no, Madeleine's chest is bleeding 🥺
Holy shit👀 she just suffocated her child 👀(Chucky) I guess that's how she killed her real kid👀
Huh, they held a funeral for chucky
Good job Andy😂 (he wasn't being let in, so he got himself committed, honestly very smart and kinda relatable)
Well shit, he's come back from the dead👀
Dr. Foley got another doll😂😂😂 I BET ANDY HAD STUFF HIDDEN IN IT!!
Oh Madeleine, have you never see a horror movie before, you don't
Oh shit I just saw Chucky's shadow 👀
Well, I mean it's not technically suicide if she lets Chucky kill her👀
Is he ripping her tongue out? I'm so confused?
Oh, yup, he 💯 ripped that out, yuck
Ooof he left his arm in her mouth 😂
Yeah Carlos get rid of him, THROW HIM INCINERATOR
Nica's just waiting for Foley in his office 😂😂
Damn, poor girl got put in a straight jacket
FOLEY YOU FALL FOR THEM BECAUSE YOU TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THEM AND GET OFF ON IT
You suck man, you SUCK!
What the fuck, he got her heels? Oh fuck no, he just kissed her foot YOU ARE AN ABSOLUTE ASSHOLE
Ha! She spat in his face 😂 YEAH CHUCKY! HIT HIM IN THE HEAD
I love how Chucky's both disgusted yet vaguely impressed by th absolute sickness of that guy😂
And another Chucky has awoken!
Oh shit, poor Carlos 🥺🥺🥺 poor guy didn't deserve this🥺
The short haired Chucky saying that he's never felt so alive 😂😂😂
I love how all the Chucky's immediately concede that the short haired Chucky is the one who deserves to kill Andy😂
Oooooooooooo 👀 Tiffany is totally gonna kill the guard 👀
The way she laughs when killing the guard is so endearing 🥺
Oh shit👀 so that's how Chucky possesses Nica
The way Chucky stomps all over Foley's head as revenge for Nica is low-key so sweet 🥺
Wait who'd you kill?👀 Awwwwwww poor Angela
Poor Malcom
Wow, Fiona is really KILLING IT as Chucky 😱

i agree with ur thoughts on s2, here some of my in depth thoughts though:
stuff i didn't like
- i totally agree about carmy not being as big of a presence in this season, i understand they wanted to show that he absolutely isn't ready for a relationship, but imo if ur gonna do that u gotta go bigger? crying in the fridge and getting in a fight with richie who we know he'll easily make up with isn't that big of a deal to me.. i would have loved to see a huge break up that made him confront his inability to let himself be happy AND claire reminding him of hs, home and michael (they kept hinting at this and all we got was one panic attack scene? ok)
- i actually didn't mind claire. it was very clear she was just a plot device from the start and i def wouldn't mind there being more depth to her character, but they had chemistry and the actress did a great job. idk i rly liked her character, but disliked the narrative surrounding her (i started rolling my eyes by the 20th time someone mentioned carmy liked her in hs, we get it!)
- i hate what they did to marcus, i don't see him as a bitter guy who yells after getting rejected idk what the point of that was since it got resolved in 10 min
- ebra's arc felt a little unfinished, like a scene or two was missing? but other than that i think it was great to see him struggle with smtn and more of his friendship with tina
- maybe a me thing, but i missed some of the surreal elements s1 had (the cooking show, the literal bear, the cage, the nightmare..)
things i liked
- literally everything else. the acting, dialogue, direction, lighting, you name it i loved it. the comedic moments were so good this season, richie and fak were standouts for me.
- just when i thought this show couldn't possibly overwhelm me more, but the christmas ep proved me wrong. it could have been shorter (the tiff and richie scene was especially long), but jamie lee curtis was too captivating for me to care all that much
- despite there being a lot of things i dislike, this is such a short list for me? i fucking love this show sm, and s2 was a great comeback as far as i'm concerned. not as great as the first, but still a banger and i can't wait to see what they do next <33
hi babe sorry i kept remembering and then forgetting to answer this and then i didn't want to drop spoilers the same week as release because i can't put your ask under a cut but it's been a month now so i'll go under the cut to hit your points
i didn't completely hate the fridge breakdown like him not being able to be there for such an important career milestone because he kept putting things above the bear opening?? fitting and deserved to me!
yeah i feel the same about claire like after a certain point none of the claire carmy scenes were offering me anything new. i wasn't learning anything new about carmy and didn't feel like the plot was moving along either. and the sex scene?? EW (not in a puritan sex way but carmy is sooooo sexless to me i don't want to see him breathing into this woman's face all sensual like creeps me out)
yeah that was sooo???? HELP! glad they got over it at the end of the ep they'll be fine
agreed about ebra! not completely there but i think he'll shine in s3 if there is one in the same way tina came so completely into her own this season. (love tina!)
yeah absolutely! there was a whiff of it with syd in the last ep with the ticket printing and ep2 where she's going around eating food but more weirdness would have been appreciated idk
i'm gonna rewatch s2 in a couple months i think to really see how i feel about it the further removed i get from watching it the better my memory of it is for me so i'll see how that goes
#the bear#anonymous#i did NOT forget about this ask i promise!! just hadn't had the time to sit down and answer this

That might be kind of the point though. We never spend more time with a character than we're supposed to. (Which sucks, 'cause I wanted more of Ebra and Luca, but, y'know. Main characters and all that.) We don't meet Tiff until she matters, we don't really get much from Donna or Mikey unless they're haunting the narrative, Syd's parents, Uncle's family-- They only matter when they matter. Most of Mikey's character is how other characters talk about him and the handful of times they saw his persona crack and that exhausted/hunted look on his face. Claire is similar in that she only matters when the Bears are talking about how good she is for Carmy. We don't really get to know her because she doesn't contribute to restaurant. She's not like Marcus and Tina or even Fak who all have parts to play and actual jobs in The Bear. She's outside, like Donna, influencing but not involved. The audience doesn't have a solid view of her because Carmy's view of her isn't super distinct either. She's the girl he drew in his notebooks in highschool, but he didn't know why she sat and stared at her friend's broken arm. They both had big ideas about each other, but I don't think they really know each other and so, we don't know her either. Whether good or bad, it feels intentional.
Claire deserved an episode dedicated to her in the second season of the bear. We deserved to see her drive and passion and history. We deserved more for her.
She deserved to have that time to build her as a character and help people make a genuine connection to her. Maybe people wouldn't so easily dismiss her.
For a show that often painfully spells out its symbolism and metaphors, they did a bad job helping people see Claire as a fucking person.
That's all I'm saying on the issue right now.

How do you think Claire is as a player? How do you think SB is as a player? I miss a lot of live feeds so maybe you have more insight. Thank you
SB has one of my favorite games right now, i actually really disliked her game at first because during that first week i was thinking like “girl you have all the info you need to keep travis” but now looking back at it i think she made the right decision, SB is very good at just getting information from people, she gets information, she passes info along to who she needs to pass it to, she’s doing everything right, and no one says her name, everyone thinks they can trust her, except like britini but girl 💀 but yeah SB is doing great, i don’t think i have any concerns for her game right now, maybe it’s that i could see her taking Ky to the end and that would probably get her second place but it’s SO early, she’s on the right track, she was a big hand in Frenchie’s downfall this week, so to wrap that up SB dark horse social butterfly
so what i heard about Claire preseason was that she’s a survivor fan and then she became a big brother fan, and that really explains Claire, she’s a strong player but she’s playing from the passenger seat and Tiffany is driving the car, but baby this ain’t survivor, most of her connections come through Tiff so that means for the most part she can only work with and get info from people who Tiff allows her to, and as far as i know Brent/Whitney are still looking at her as their target (not entirely sure they haven’t talked much game this week other than saying fuck frenchie) she doesn’t really seem to know how to make connections outside of Tiff and SB, she is really a survivor player playing BB, in survivor you work with an alliance, y’all don’t necessarily have to get along, you have 1 to 2 close allies and you ride it out, BB is a lot less mathematical, people play with their hearts, she needs to start connecting with people, it feels like she’s a power player now but probably only because Ky is in power, like next week Tiff will still be a power player, idk if i can say the same for Claire
#bb23#i talk a lot i’m sorry#but yeah i can honestly see claire being damage trying to weaken the tiffany side#we’ll have to see how good she is a comps#i think her game can go either way tbh it’s interesting to see someoen with a survivor mindset in bb

i just knew this was gonna happen when tiff won hoh, i was so confused as to why she wasn’t throwing this knowing this exact outcome could happen.
anyways, while i think claire will understand the cookout and their mission and not have hard feelings about being kept in the dark, i do think it’ll hurt her more than its hurt the other house guests because she’ll be the only one to go out on her #1′s hoh, and more than that, i think she was the most loyal to her #1 than any of the others.
like, when you think about it, tiffany and hannah kinda manipulated her into playing the coin of destiny just so that she couldn’t play in hoh this week and protect herself, and now she’s probably going out on tiffany’s hoh... big oof
i really hope she isn’t bitter and she does still advocate for tiff in jury, but i’ll definitely understand if she’s hurt and not particularly understanding by the time she leaves on thursday and needs some time to get over it
#bb23#big brother#can't believe they're talking about nominating her without telling her the truth#biggest mistake they could make

SAY THEM
Okay more than one ask I guess I will yell more 🤣 we’re what a month in now?? Let me try and give more individual house guest thoughts 🤔
Before anyone gets up in a tizzy about my thoughts pls note y’all asked for this lmao 😂
I used to like Azah and I know she seems to be a big fave of the fans but idk… she’s really too sensitive I think and also she feels a bit like she’s floating to me. Not really my preferred bb game play style although I will give it to her as that it is indeed a strategy all the same plus I’m still here for the cookout so
Big d can go if *any* cookout member goes tbh I think I was excited to watch him play at first bc Philly 😍 and I’m from south Jersey but rly he’s just missing the mark a lot and pls stop trying to implode the cookout alliance sir what is your problem. Imo tiff didn’t seem bossy to me… she seem to be sus of him bc he’s being shady 🤷♀️
Alyssa bye 👋🏻 she could go next and I’d be fine. I’m real tired of her crybaby ass every time she *almost* wins something pls go home if you think anyone came to big brother to gift you comp wins like ??? Also love the “promise I’ll save you sb” until I win a prize then nvm fuck u sb
Omg brittani can also go bc she is loud and a lot and every time they show her crying she’s just looking at herself cry in all of the mirrors and I cannot handle it. Pls go enjoy the vacation jury house please
I really still love Claire and kyland both for different but similar reasons. Good game strategy, winning comps, aligning themselves well, laying low/staying in the middle to stay off radar. Insert chef kiss here
Ummmm ok sb I remain on the fence about. I have had I dislike her moments and then ok she maniacal I wanna see her continue playing so idk. I still think she’s floating af which meh could still get her far ngl
Oh also I barely bother with the feeds despite them being available as heck on paramount + idk man something about how often they went down in the beginning turned me off bc every time I would go to watch it would almost instantly go off lmao if it’s better lmk because…. Yeah
Ok I’ll stop for now if you wanna know more of my choice brain thoughts about the season or hgs hmu

Thanks!
And you make such a great point about Syd seeing through the act. She did in episode 2 when she brought up Carmy taking his personal issues out on the crew, and here when she tells him she's not his babysitter! And Richie's for his number as well. "I know what you are." Hits deep, as well as letting Carmy know he's a replicant and not self-actualized.
He's not listening to them, because listening means he's got to face his issues and that's hard. I think we all know that's hard. But we saw Richie start to face his flaws in season 2. He had to come to grips with his marriage really really being over. Something he ignored even after the divorce and Tiff dating Frank. It took sta'aging at Ever and Tiff inviting him to her wedding for him to start to face reality.
My concern is that C. Storer thinks that a person can make you better. That's certainly an element of mental health progress; a supportive community is imperitive. But I thought society had cottoned-on that a partner/loved-one can't be a person's sole motivation to get help. I THINK Storer knows this (the scene you talk about with Syd), but I feel like he thinks that your life partner(s) should take on more emotional labor because you decided to do life together.
I think there are aspects of truth to that, but it needs to be paired with a person wanting to seek help. Right now, Carmy doesn't. And he seems to want to fulfill his own prophecy about not deserving good things. Which is sad for him! But like, I don't want Syd and the rest of the crew locked in the freezer with him!
I think that S3 was the dark midpoint of the story and season 4 will bring Carmy out of the dark and into the light. I just don't want all the people who know Carmy to have their light dampened because of it.
If Carmy is serious about vibrant collaboration, Syd will be there with him all in! And if he can be in a good headspace for a lengthy period of time, I'll be their biggest fan! I have doubts, but I'm more than willing to be convinced.
Lol I just noticed that I didn't talk about Claire. She's such a non-entity in this show in general that she's easily forgettable. Carmy and Syd and their relationship is the heart of the show. I know we needed them at odds for our midpoint, but I think Storer once again over estimated the audience's indifference to Claire and she and Carmy's HS level romance.
He should have screen-tested Molly G. Love her, but they don't have that chemistry. If they did, at least we could enjoy watching them talk. There were people fast forwarding through their scenes! On the first watch!! Lmao
Look, we're told that Claire was a "nerdy, awkward" type in highschool and Carmy, a shy person, had a crush on her.
A decade plus and many traumas later, Carmy reconnects with Claire, who has changed significantly, but they both seem to want to engage with their past personas.
Except Carmy is still the shy guy, and the type of girl he's interested in hasn't actually changed.
I honestly think the biggest issue with Carmy and Claire is that they want to reimagine their high school days. I hold that they, more than any issues they have, are just incompatible.
And I think basic incompatibility will end their relationship.
And as others have said better than I am right now, he's already locked in to Sydney (who is nerdy and awkward). Claire never had a chance, knocked out before round 1 started, etc, etc.
The heart wants what the heart motherfucking wants and Carmy likes that awkward-nerdy black girl. I don't make the rules! Argue with the wall!

kissing tiny flowers
For @winchester-reload‘s prompts...I’m a day late and a dollar short, but that’s just the way it is sometimes.
Day 15: Led Zeppelin
Castiel can hear the music from outside the house. In and of itself, that’s not alarming. Dean has a tendency to like his music loud, to the point that Castiel has to remind him multiple times, Dean we live in the suburbs and some of our neighbors don’t appreciate Metallica blasted through the windows at 10 am. If he’s in the zone, really in it, Dean would deafen himself before he turned the music down.
Today, Dean is playing Led Zeppelin, which again, not particularly newsworthy. Dean loves the band the way others love their first-born children, and Castiel has yet to see him make it through a seven day period without listening to at least one of their albums once.
But today Dean’s playing Zeppelin III loud enough to echo through the garage, and that’s a big damn problem.
Two years of friendship, four of dating, and eight of marriage, and Castiel knows more than he ever really wanted to about Led Zeppelin. Sometimes, when they’re in a tiff, Dean will roll over in the middle of the night, just to wake Castiel with an inane trivia fact, glorifying in the fact that he doesn’t have a job which requires him to be conscious at 7am. Castiel knows of course, that the band was formed in London in 1968. He knows the names of all the members, as well as their birthdays. He knows that Page usually wrote the music while Plant usually wrote the lyrics to the songs. He knows enough to do well for himself at Led Zeppelin trivia night at The Roadhouse (Dean’s idea), but more importantly than that, Castiel knows Dean.
He knows that Dean listens to Zeppelin II when he’s feeling feisty, he listens to Zeppelin IV when he needs to concentrate, he listens to Physical Graffiti when he’s looking to calm down, and he listens to Zeppelin III when he’s sad.
Not that Dean would put it in terms so blunt. Not that Castiel would ever confront him with this forbidden knowledge of Dean’s coding. But it’s there.
Castiel knows Zeppelin. He knew Zeppelin by the end of their first day together as roommates, Dean nervous and excited at being away from his family for the first time, and Castiel overwhelmed at the prospect of four years of freedom in front of him. He knew Zeppelin when he and Dean bought a dime bag off of Ash and listened to their albums while sprawled out over Dean’s bed, staring at the ceiling and bursting into laughter when their eyes met. He knew Zeppelin when Fool in the Rain played in the background as he sat in Dean’s car the beginning of junior year and blurted out I think that I’m in love with you and Dean stared at him for too long of a moment and Castiel thought Oh shit that’s it, it’s done, before Dean lunged forward and kissed him senseless. He knew Zeppelin when Stairway to Heaven played in the background the first time he and Dean made love, their gasps and moans becoming part of the melody as they pressed helpless kisses to the other’s skin. He knew Zeppelin as Thank You played during their first dance at their wedding. Castiel looked into Dean’s eyes, the eyes of the man he was going to be with forever, and thought, Thank you. Thank you.
And now Dean is listening to Zeppelin III and he’s alone in the house.
Castiel walks in through the garage, into the kitchen, and then the living room. He notes the turntable, spinning away, and the sense of foreboding in his chest grows. Normally when he’s working, Dean prefers to set his Bluetooth to the stereo, so he doesn’t have to get up and continuously change the record. Dean uses the turntable when he wants to appreciate the little things: the way that the fuzz sparks when the needle hits, the slow spin and travel of the songs, the subtle flip from Side A to Side B. Dean uses the turntable when he feels nostalgic, and it’s only a short journey from nostalgia to depression.
The door to Dean’s study is cracked open and Castiel pushes it open further to peer in. Dean is hunched over his desk, fingers tapping against the dark wood. He looks like he’s guarding against an attack from the world.
A small sound from Castiel has Dean looking towards the door. it’s almost painful to watch him plaster on a mask of complacency. “Hey babe,” he greets, and it’s only years of experience that allow Castiel to hear the cracks in his voice. “Where’s the kiddo?”
“Claire’s over at Kaia’s house. She’s having dinner there. We’re supposed to pick her up around 9.”
Dean nods. “I forgot. All right. Um, I haven’t started dinner yet and since Claire’s not here, do you want to just order something? We can try that Indian place--”
“Dean.” Castiel crosses the room in three short steps. “Dean. What’s wrong?” His fingers stroke over the rough stubble on Dean’s cheek, down his neck, to his shoulders. He rubs his thumbs over the exposed vertebrae of Dean’s neck, then over to the stiff muscles of his shoulders. “Don’t tell me that everything’s fine.”
A dissatisfied noise rumbles in Dean’s throat as Castiel nixes his go to response. “But it is,” Dean says, leaning back to look up at Castiel. The top of his head presses into the soft part of Castiel’s lower belly and Castiel gives into the desire to press a soft kiss to Dean’s lips.
“Please,” Castiel asks.
In the background, the song switches over to That’s the Way.
I don’t know how I’m going to tell you/That I can’t play with you no more...
“It’s stupid.” Familiar with this particular brand of obfuscation, Castiel waits. “It’s just...I was starting on this scene. The one where Sal tells his dad about Alan?” Castiel hums, never ceasing the smooth rub of his thumbs into Dean’s shoulders. “And then I thought, I thought...God, it’s so damn stupid.”
“It’s not,” Castiel murmurs, his lips brushing against Dean’s forehead. “If it’s got you this twisted up, it’s not stupid.”
Dean’s hand reaches up, blindly groping. Castiel obligingly lowers his head, allowing Dean to card his fingers through his hair. Tension bleeds out of Dean’s body as he slumps forward.
And yesterday I saw you standing by the river/And weren’t those tears that filled your eyes?
“I just got to thinking about everything...everything that he never got to do. He never met Claire, never saw Sam get married, never saw...” Dean trails off, but Castiel knows what he was about to say. He never saw our wedding. John Winchester died in their senior year of college, leaving Dean little more than comatose and Castiel with the pieces.
“And the damndest thing is, I don’t know whether he would have been happy or not. My own wedding, and I don’t know whether my dad would have even shown up.”
There it is. There’s the suppurating wound, the decades old hurt, the one that even after all this time refuses to heal. Sometimes Castiel is sorry that John Winchester is dead since Dean still mourns his absence. Sometimes, Castiel is sorry that John Winchester is dead since he wants to punch the man in the face.
But he doesn’t say that to Dean. Not now, when he’s raw and wounded. Castiel noses down to Dean’s temple, pressing kisses against the soft skin. “He would have. He would take Claire out to the shooting range and teach her how to take apart an engine, and she would have loved him.”
He doesn’t know if that’s true. He doesn’t know if John Winchester would have turned up, he doesn’t know if John Winchester would have been happy in his son’s choice of husband. He doesn’t know if they would have been cut off or if John would have embraced his granddaughter with open arms. But the knowing isn’t important. What’s important are Dean’s fingers closing around his wrist, Dean craning his head up to smile at him, this time without the brittle, wavering edge to his smile.
“What do you want for dinner? I know that you’re not wild on pizza, but we haven’t had Thai in a while, so maybe that?”
Castiel hides his smile against the soft hair at Dean’s temple. “Whatever you want,” he murmurs, kissing down Dean’s cheeks until he reaches his mouth. “Whatever you want.”
But now’s the time to look and look again at what you see/Is that the way it ought to stay?
That’s the way it oughta be.

The Good Doctor 2x18
Glad Shaun is alive & has his job back. Appreciated Andrews backing Shaun to fire Han when it counted. Love Debbie/Glassy, but marriage seems rushed.
I never liked Melendez & Lim as a couple so I’m not sad they broke up. Interested in Lim’s promotion/new role. I feel like Glassy may be president again soon w/the Andrews playing a price for getting rid of Han talk.
Lea/Shaun/Carly & Shaun/Lea/Jake.
1. Triangles are overused plots. Jake pls be gone forever. Carly seems nice & as an occasional guest star character, she has my full support. But, as a third in a triangle? DNW. I get why the writers may want Shaun to have dating experience besides Lea. I realize I could see his asking Carly out as a good sign Shaun & Lea will be endgame, but I’m not enjoying the triangles AT ALL bc
2. I wish they’d let Greys be Greys & let TGD be something else. Too often S2 TGD fandom talk has been about ships bc hardly any other plot/character arc has been carried forward. Complex & fascinating HR & legal issues could have lasted longer (e.g. Claire’s Sexual Harassment claimfallout. Neil’s DNR override, Claire/Neil tiff). Multiple mental health issues affect main characters, but they don’t pull them into ongoing, pressing story arcs (e.g. Melendez’ sister, Claire’s mom, Claire’s dying bff, Glassy’s dead daughter, Shaun’s traumatic childhood & whatever may be up with Lea.) Professional rivalries/foils have been toned down. S1 competition among the residents was intense now the stakes feel lowered for the residents to outperform their peers.
3. Soap isn’t TGD’s strong suit. They’ve started TWO love triangles w/Lea, but after 2 seasons, we still know little about her. Paige Spara has truly exceptional chemistry w/Freddie Highmore & tons of charisma, but that can only go so far w/out more. WHAT MOTIVATES LEA? WHAT ARE HER FEARS/DESIRES? WHO IS IMPORTANT TO HER? Glassman asked why Lea has no work pals, why she relies on Shaun so much, but he (& we) never got those important answers. 18 eps. later, we don’t even know exactly *WHY* Hershey failed. The audience gets nothing to pull us inside Lea’s mind/heart0. Jake was to make us feel bad for Shaun, not develop Lea. Tbh, it feels like S2 Lea exclusively existed to elicit emotional responses from Shaun rather than be a separate pov in the story. And w/TGD hardly sparing Lea any time/development/attn, now they may spend screen time setting up Carly, as a new love interest? :(
4. I enjoy a non toxic TGD fandom. So far, TGD fandom has generally remained nice/polite. Triangles breed ugly fan factions/atmospheres. I don’t want fans hating on Lea or enjoying Lea being hurt or jealous bc they want Shaun to get “even” with her. OTOH if Shaun/Carly doesn’t upset Lea, she becomes less relevant. It’s a lose/lose situation for me as a Lea/Shea fan. I’d rather TGD spark richer & nicer fan discussions than whether a woman is hurt a man chose another woman.
5. Making Lea the fall guy. Few fans seem to make much of some signs the writers have put out (like Glassman questioning Lea about her lack of friends) that something is amiss with Lea. I’ve shared my speculation that Lea may have undiagnosed ADHD that I know some other fans share. Maybe Lea doesn’t have it, but everyone is dealing w/something and instead of reserving opinion until her issue is known and understood, some seem quick to assume the worst of Lea. It’s kinda how Han treated Shaun and I think it’s unfair & I worry whether the writers will care to change that when throwing Lea under the bus is easier than eliciting sympathy for her and letting the audience see things from her perspective.
