i totally get why artists dont want to use etsy anymore but as someone who used to buy from fan artists on there a lot, I really, really feel its absence. there really isnt a single place where I can search for that kind of stuff now and the instagram and twitter search algorithms make it really difficult to find stuff and that plus the fact that a lot of artists now avoid outright mentioning fandom or character names to avoid getting in trouble, it just really makes searching for this stuff really hard. honestly feels like most of the artists i've bought from or followed i found out about through other peoples reblogs or just word of mouth

"I'M SANE" by AXIE reminds me of Wingdings ( IN VIBES and changing what certain lyrics mean to something else )

For reasons i will not divulge into, can u tell me what armor aesthetic/historical accuracy you have in mind for the hound?

While I do take inspiration from some historical settings (in particular, 5th, 6th century), TKH is not meant to be historically accurate at all. It has fantasy elements that not only include magic, but also many magical creatures, traditions and a whole continent that I completely made up.

So, with that in mind, this is kind of the armor aesthetic I imagine (note: you are very free to headcanon or imagine story elements different from my references):

Theres something about the idea of Sparrow and Logan's birth thats really hitting me.

Sparrow has been fighting their entire life, even in their childhood we see them having to resort to violence. They've spent their entire adult life stuck in the past, fighting entirely for the goal of avenging Rose. The future has never mattered as much as the past does, no matter how much Theresa whispered about it.

But now theres Logan.

For the first time, they do have a future that matters, Logans future.

Not the future Theresa tells her of, not the violence they've always known, not the weight of the world of the world on his shoulders.

Violence is an integral part of them thats so intimately woven into who they are as a person.

They don't want it to be like that for Logan.

I think thats clear in the way that Logan seems to idolize them, the fact that he chose to go on expeditions outside of Albion as opposed to being forced to. The fact that he seemingly was unaware of the darkness and the destiny laid for him and the hobw to try and stop it before meeting it.

According to Theresa one of their children is meant to save the world, but Sparrow has their first child, sees their son, innocent and yet to be hurt like they have, and chooses a different path, even if only temporarily.

In a way its finally avenging themselves, the child in them that was killed with Rose and replaced with a hero tormented by all thats happened. As long as they're alive, they'll keep their children safe from that same fate. They allow them to have a life outside of being a hero, unlike them. They allow them to have a childhood. They free them from the expectations that were held on them.

Logans birth is a huge moment for Sparrow for so many reasons, it's not just the birth of the first child, the one they get to be with the longest, but its arguably the birth of a new Sparrow.

one thing I have to keep reremembering every time I'm playing a soulslike/similar kind of difficult game -- and that I wish I could internalize elsewhere in my life as well -- is that you always, always have to suffer through the long dark of an inexplicable failcringe era before you can emerge into a fresh new dawn of competence. faceplanting into humiliating failure in ways you hadn't even conceived of before on a loop can sometimes be the herald of great and wondrous things to come soon. don't be so quick to abandon yourself in the early murk of daybreak because you think you just suck!!!

Levi x Accident Prone/Clumsy SO

You won’t be chopping up any ingredients if Levi can help it: Don’t touch that.” “But I’m trying to helpppp.” “You can help me by staying safe, which means no touching.”

He’ll make sure you’re aware of what’s ahead of you when you’re not paying attention. “Watch out for that. I don’t want you to die.”

When the streets are busy, he’ll take it upon himself to guide you, his arm securely around your waist as he helps you navigate the people traffic.

Your apartment will already be organized because of Levi but he would try his best to organize things in a way that would make it difficult for things to be in your way.

Whenever you get packages, big or small, Levi will place them somewhere that is out of your way but that is also in your line of sight so you know where they are.

Levi’s already hyper vigilant so he’s aware of his surroundings, especially when you’re around. “There’s a step in front of you”, “Pole on your right”, “Move left”.

He’ll notice new bruises before you do. He won’t tell you directly, he’ll massage the skin near the bruise, careful not to hurt you, and ask “Now where did this one come from?”

With how often you get bruises, he’ll suggest iron supplements. If you don’t buy them, he’ll buy them for you, walking up to you and placing them in front of you. “Take them.”

Sometimes you don’t have the common sense to move out the way when Levi’s opening a cabinet or a cupboard. To prevent you from getting hurt, Levi will place one hand over your knee, thigh, or forehead (anticipated spots where you might get hit) and open what he needs to with the other hand.

When you do manage to accidentally bump into something when he’s around, letting out a yelp of surprise and/or pain, Levi can’t help but shake his head and let out a small chuckle. He doesn’t know how you manage to hurt yourself so often. It’s kind of adorable. “C’mere, are you okay?”

He does not let you try to find your way anywhere in the dark. If for some reason, after you both get in bed, you need to get a glass of water or use the bathroom Levi will make sure you have a light source. “Don’t move, let me turn on the light first.”

Again, Levi doesn’t understand how you manage to accidentally hurt yourself so often but he knows he doesn’t need to. What he does know, and do, is he does his best to mitigate it. Of course he can’t protect you from everything, but that doesn’t stop him from trying.
