Miles 42 headcanon;

though it takes time for him to become as soft and vulnerable as he is, Ganke is one of the few, if not only people, who he can truly be "weak" with, to any extent, so he tends to be really soft and mushy and romantic with him, to the point that its almost unnerving.

he's so used to playing this cold, bad boy, "I feel nothing" attitude all the time, being the prowler and his uncles mentee, but its exhausting, so when he's with the one person who expects almost nothing of him, he just stops and lets himself go.

he just wants to be held and loved, he wants to be a nerd and talk about the book he just finished, he wants to watch cartoons and anime, he wants to spend all day in his pajamas and never quite lose the warmth of sleep, he wants to just be a kid, and Ganke lets him do that.

some days he just lets himself drop into verbal shutdown and lay in Ganke's bed with him. maybe they cuddle, maybe they don't, sometimes touch is too much, even when Miles is clearly in a soft space. maybe Ganke will talk and Miles will listen, maybe there's music on, or maybe Miles has noise cancelling headphones in. its fine, his needs are fine, because he's with Ganke, and its ok to be weak with him. maybe they play videogames, or Miles reads and Ganke traverses the internet doing gods knows what, or they throw on a movie, maybe they sit in the silence doing nothing but enjoying the company. whatever it is, its good, its safe, its ok.

Miles is a little spoon, when not on guard, and enjoys feeling his boyfriends arms around him, feeling the rise and fall of his chest, his own hands reaching out to touch his face or his hair or to hold onto him. he's safe in Gankes arms, he doesn't have to be the Prowler there, he doesn't have to be the "man of the house", he doesn't have to be anything more than a kid.

At one point this happened and Valerie tried to scream for help. 2 hours later Angel found her exhausted on the ground from screaming and crying. It wasn't pretty.

Considering Nifty has undiagnosed ADHD, she runs around alot and can forget things easily. This lead to other school girls calling her stupid for being so clumsy and forgetful. They told her no man would want her. This only strived her obsession to getting married and being wanted.

Valerie was bullied pretty heavily in school. For a matter of reasons, being Salvadoran, being lesbian (no one knew yet, they were just assuming, having a accent, being incredibly skinny. School was hell, so was home. The dance studio was her only safe place.

Angel used to struggle really bad with English. He's not from America and his family only spoke Italian so he didn't learn English when he was a child. He had to adapt pretty quickly so his family would fit in. Angel still gets upset if he messes up a English word.

Both Angel and his wife Carmilla are queer. Angel is gay and Carmilla is a lesbian. They were friends so they decided to get married so they can fake being straight. They didn't want to be kicked out of the mob or worse, murdered. They then had their daughter Isabella because of social pressure. They didn't want Isabella but they worked through it together. Isabella never got to meet Carmilla.

All three of the Spider Siblings died from suicide. Angel went first, then Molly, then Arackniss. They couldn't stand being away from each other.

Lucifer has the ability to take the magic out if Charlie. If this is too happen then Charlie falls lifeless, like if you cut a puppets strings. This happened once when Charlie and Lucifer got into a bad fight about her hotel. Lilith demanded he bring her back to life. He did very quickly, it was just a mistake. Charlie still hasn't forgotten it.

People rioted when Alastor's radio broadcasts began to take off on air. They weren't comfortable with a black man having unapologetic and truthful radio show.

Cherrie is obsessed with being strong enough to defend herself because she used to get the shit beaten out of her.

Jeff and Rebecca met at the age of twenty-five. Rebecca's brother and Jeff's sister were put together by a matchmaker and decided to try and introduce the two families.

All of their sons are named after playwrights (William Shakespeare=William (Billy) Kaplan, Eugene O'Neill=Eugene (Gene) Kaplan, Samuel Beckett=Beckett Kaplan)

Billy is the oldest (nineteen), Gene is the middle child (seventeen), and Beckett is the youngest (fourteen).

Gene and Beckett are also mutants, but Eugene doesn't use his powers, and Beckett's haven't activated yet.

Jeff and Rebecca legally adopted Tommy when he was seventeen

Gene once got Northstars autograph. He also once got Jean-Paul Beaubier's autograph. So far, he's the only person to have figured out his identity by himself.

Ant & Spider Regression Friendship headcanons

warnings: !!season 2 spoilers!!, little!ant, little!spider, but more like flip!spider, cg!harper, adhd!ant & autistic!spider (yall will hear me out on this), swearing

ant is obviously the more rowdy and chaotic of the two

he likes to get spider in on his antics and while spider is reluctant at times, he mostly goes along with whatever ant says

spider is either regressed far younger than ant or far older than him, somewhere between 11-14, and acts as a big brother figure

this works well when they’re both regressed without a caregiver around since spider can care for himself & ant at the same time

if spider’s watching both of them while regressed himself their diets quickly become consistent of only candy, juice (for ant), energy drinks (for spider), and the easiest sandwich spider can throw together without having to venture out to a store

spider’s regression is much quieter and calmer than ant’s but occasionally he can get pretty emotional and ant is always there to try and distract him or wrap him in a hug

they’re both trash at talking about feelings so it’s rare they actually talk about what’s wrong but they find some quick go-to fixes

for ant it’s: candy, playing outside/at the park, make believe games, pacifers, cuddles & making forts

for spider it’s: cartoons, stuffed animals, legos, teethers, cuddles (depending on his mood), reading & trips to the beach

spider only needs one look at ant’s face to know what’s wrong and what action to take to make it better

ant usually needs to ask spider for a sense of direction but he gets it eventually

they have matching friendship bracelets they made with quinni — spider only wears his when he’s regressed but ant will wear it whenever

they both struggle a bit when dusty leaves their trio after s1

spider has a harder time with the change than ant, ant is really only upset because spider’s upset about it

they’ll both go to harper during these times — she’s the only one who will listen to their vents and actually understand, to some degree

ant has a tendency to regress at school much more than spider does

they have an emergency bag of little gear stored in spider’s locker, he also keeps a bit of stuff in his backpack anyway

ant can and will cover anything he can touch in any sticky substance — paint, peanut butter, glue, etc — and in turn, he covers spider in it too

the only time he won’t is if spider says his sensory issues can’t handle it

ant is sensory seeking while spider is most definitely not

they both have their own sets of noise cancelling headphones but ant rarely uses his, he just wanted an excuse to decorate them

spider almost always has his on when he’s regressed, no matter the age range

ant will eat just about anything & spider is picky as all hell — so ant ends up eating whatever spider’s picked off his food and ant gives spider the stuff he knows he likes

spider stutters quite a bit while regressed, especially in his tween headspace, and ant is always there to wait for him to get what he wants to say out & remind him to slow down

ant cannot sit still ever when he’s regressed, spider always lets him move around while they talk or play even if it’s an activity that’s usually meant to be done in one position

they’ll usually spend their time at spider’s place because his mom is rarely home and ant’s parents lowkey suck

Six-Eared Macaque Headcanons:

I love the headcanon that he either used to have white fur or he glamours it away.

My headcanon for his “birth” is an amalgamation of several others I’ve seen (I forget their tags). Basically a piece of the moon broke off and hit the ground, the big ass flash caused a shit ton of shadows (hence shadow powers). The wind formed a mini hurricane around the moon-rock-egg and broke it, which is why 6EM can hear the wind.

6EM glamours a lot, everytime he dislikes something he glamours it away. This led to him hating how his glamored self looks (bcz it looks nun like him), but also hating how his unglamored self looks (bcz bad memories & imperfections & shit).

The shadows are semi-sentient, they’re also very picky with who they “serve” but extremely loyal. (Kinda like a dog.)

Rumble and Savage were 6EM’s first clones. (Their more sentient/have their own kinda personality bcz his 1st time w/ clones was a lot like MK’s.)

6EM & Chang’e are besties.

i spent hours telling @the-starry-seas about the boys (mostly sinker) last night, so here are some thoughts from that convo as well as some fresh ones. some of them are also from rolling the blorbos around with @executeness

sinker has pretty severe adhd and his favorite fidget toy (besides boost) is one of those 3D printed slugs. it probably has a normal person name like james or something so he can say he needs to "fiddle with james".

boost got into a lot of fights in high school. he had a lot of rage after his parents died and he used it on anyone who tried to bully sinker or comet (or really probably anyone - i see boost being the kind of guy to step in even if he doesn't know the kid getting bullied).

before meeting gregor, comet was a sleep-until-the-afternoon type of guy, then he adjusted his sleep schedule so it would be easier to get up closer to gregor's time whenever gregor was on leave. he's still not an early riser by any means, but those few extra hours with gregor when he's home mean the world to him.

wolffe and gregor's relationship is the definition of "you came." / "you called."

sinker doesn't try to set his dates up with boost, but if they're not at least a little bit interesting in him, i think sinker is less likely to pursue a relationship. related to this is that boost loves befriending sinker's boyfriends - i mean, they share an interest in boost's absolute favorite thing in the world, after all.

sinker is a he/they in my mind though it is not canon. i could also see boost using he/they, but in a lack-of-gender way unlike sinker's abundance-of-gender way.

people have a tendency to underestimate sinker because of his bleached blonde hair and neurodivergence (they assume he's "ditzy"), but he's incredibly intelligent and he uses their assumptions to his favor.

i headcanon thorn as having had metoidioplasty.

All of them identify as Bi! And they’re all transgender by the way, Margo and Gwen being transfem and Miles being transmasc!

All of them are also autistic, possibly ADHD for all of them too? But not too sure on that one!

Margo and Gwen initially did not get along, but eventually they became friends when they bonded over their shared difficult home lives, this was before Miles came to the Spider Society by the way. Gwen is a bit awkward when introducing two separate friend groups to each other ( she just like me fr ) which is why she actively tried not to mention Hobie, Pavtir and Margo to Miles, her anxiety makes her worry that they’ll hate each other and all her friends will blame her. ( she just like me fr. )

As for pronoun headcanons! Margo uses She/They/It/Byte/Glitch pronouns, Gwen uses She/They, and Miles just uses He/Him.

Margo actively does not want her partners to meet her parents because she hopes to move out as soon as she is old enough and has the money to do so. Gwen’s dad is pretty distant from all of her friends but gets close to Miles first, and it takes a little longer for Margo initially because of her own home life, she worries that Gwen’s dad isn’t truly reconciling and is kind of scared of him, but eventually the two connect. Although Miles and Margo both don’t get that close to him. Rio and Jefferson instantly fall in love with Margo, Rio is just like “Who does your hair? You’re so beautiful honey, you’re such a good influence on our boy make sure to watch out for him.” Margo is obviously very happy about this because, parental figures who actually like her!! Rio and Jeff take a while to warm up to Gwen though, although Rio does so sooner.

Margo and Gwen trade clothes a lot, although this is usually their pajamas since Gwen’s normal fashion sense is a lot more alternative while Margo tends to stick to a cuter style. I saw that scene of her trying out different hairstyles and I don’t know I just feel like she’d love comfy and cute clothing, like an off the shoulder top and jean shorts.

Miles has his art… Gwen has her music and… Margo has her fashion! Of course I like to think her main hobby is more technical stuff like programming but I think she’d desperately want to sew when she moves out. She didn’t have the need to before because well- she didn’t express herself much as Margo Kess and really only did so with her Spider-Byte avatar, which is an avatar afterall.

All three of them are smug and snarky but in different ways and sometimes they all kinda tease each other and it’s amazing. Margo and Gwen are also pretty sarcastic but Miles doesn’t do sarcasm well and thinks they’re serious HWJDBJEE although if Margo and Gwen heard anyone outside of their friendgroup being sarcastic they’d be like????

Margo, Gwen and Miles go on a double date with Pavitr and Gaytari and Hobie is there too but chills in the corner casually being aromantic and teasing the alloromantics is his passion. Valentine’s Day is a capitalistic scam and you all are falling for it!

Margo: I just started taking estrogen! Miles: That’s awesome my top surgery is next week! Gwen: Wow I can’t believe we’re all trans and in love! Hobie: Ay I just murdered Norman Osborn haha

Here’s the full set, as promised :)

I drew these for a school project, for which I won’t explain the parameters because I’m not sure I understood them correctly myself! I chose to draw 5 canonically (with 1 exception) autistic characters, each representing a trait associated with ASD :D

First up is Quinni Gallagher-Jones, from Heartbreak High (the 2023 reboot)! I love her so much, and the actor who plays her (Chloe Hayden!) is autistic herself too! Quinni is the only one of these characters to actively state she is autistic. She’s also shown wearing noise-cancelling headphones to help with audio-related sensory issues, as in my drawing of her :)

Number two is Huey Duck from the Ducktales reboot! This is the character that isn’t exactly canonically autistic, but he is shown stimming several times, which we affectionately refer to as his Happy Flappies! I think Astro-Boyd was discussed as being autistic, but just because he might be doesn’t mean Huey can’t be (it feels canon to me so much that I was about halfway through this before I realised Huey wasn’t canonically autistic actually). Also Dewey and Louie definitely have both different presentations of ADHD (this isn’t canon either but come up, hyperactive Dewey and inattentive Louie are right there)

Next up is Entrapta from the She-Ra reboot (wow that’s 3 for 3 on reboots!) I love Entrapta, although I do wish her character was treated a little better. One of my favourite things about her is the detail that she will only eat food if it’s tiny (and seems to only like fizzy drinks), which is what I depicted here!

For number four we have my current hyperfixation, Donatello from Rise of the TMNT! It took me too long to start watching this show, I was already hyperfixated after just seeing a few clips. I haven’t seen any other TMNT series (sorry) (I did watch bayverse after seeing ROTTMNT) but I already know I like the Rise artstyle most (in addition to my favourite character being canonically autistic). I kinda failed to show what I wanted to with this drawing (Donnie’s special interest in tech, I had SHELLDON with him in the sketch) but I’m still happy with how it turned out overall. Please dismiss the fact that I drew the spider-shell arms while he’s wearing the hover-shell. My favourite thing about this one has got to be how well I feel like I managed to mimic the Rise artstyle!

And finally we have Abed Nadir from Community! He’s the oldest character of the bunch (in the sense that Community is from 2008) and yet he’s one of the best autistic characters in media to date! In the drawing I tried to show the way he communicates through use of movie and TV references.

I spent way too long on all of these, but I do think they turned out well. Unsurprisingly to most, each of these characters are my favourites from their respective shows (some are tied with other characters, but I still think it counts)! I do think it’s funny that two of these characters are played by Dani Pudi. It was also surprisingly difficult to choose what outfits to draw the live action characters in. The temptation to add headcanoned pride-flag stickers or pins next to the neurodiversity symbols on these was high, but I resisted for the sake of canon! The headcanons will live on in my head rent-free anyways.

• Autistic.

• Loves big blankets. Quilts, comforters, etc. If it's not puffy, he doesn't want it.

• Feeds stray animals. He buys extra cat/dog food and saves table scraps to give them.

• He hangs out with Jesse sometimes but he mostly sticks with the ocelots.

• Very extreme speed-walker. He's walks super fast 24/7 for no reason.

• Buys random little contraptions. Like those water toys where you flip it upside down and the droplets slide down the platforms.

• Him and Ivor gossip.

• Loves when people show interest in what he's talking about. He'll sit and explain something for hours upon hours to someone if they ask him too.

• He hand-made the matching jackets.

{Aiden}

• Dyslexic.

• He snores a lot. The volume varies, but he's usually a little hard to sleep next to.

• Perfers black cats over ocelots but will never tell Lukas.

• Acts like he's the coolest person ever but he's actually pretty lame. (affectionate)

• He has like 20 middle names, so it takes him like a solid 5 minutes to write down his full legal name.

• He had a fairly bad childhood and makes jokes about it all the time.

• Despite them being extremely deadly, Aiden unironically loves hostile mobs. He tries to pet spiders all the time, makes attempts to give zombies fists bumps when they have their arms out, hands blocks to enderman, dodges the arrows when he gets shot at by skeletons and pretends their "playing," ect.

• Got very heavily bullied as a kid and he projected that onto Jesse, Axel, and Olivia.

• Has a pet turtle

• Colorblind. (blue and green specifically)

•Absolutely obsessed with horror movies that it's almost concerning.

• She genuinely hates mint so so much. Doesn't matter if it's smell or taste, she is a full-fledged hater of mint.

• She has the opening skills of 3 month old. She can't open baby gates, she can't open child locks, she can't open jars or bottles,,,,,, actually nothing.

• She's a jerk to basically everyone, not just Jesse, Olivia, and Axel. She cools it down a bit when she's with The Ocelots, but they're still a target for insults. They love her, though.

• She pulls all-nighters 24/7. She literally never gets tired but she has massive fucking eyebags.

• She hates all of Jesse's friends but she loves Reuben. She'll never admit it, though.

• Both reread and rewatched Matilda all the time when she was younger. She still does sometimes for nostalgia purposes.

{Gill}

• Has Adhd.

• Very stupid. (affectionate)

• He has a little sister and he used to get in trouble all the time for purposely teaching her curse words.

• His birthday is the same day as Endercon, which is both a blessing and a curse because he gets to celebrate his birthday at Endercon every year, but the witherstorm was also created on his birthday, so he basically got traumatized for life on his birthday.

• He could honestly care less about Jesse, he just makes fun of him because Aiden and Maya do and he picked it up from them.

• Very good listener. Someone could ramble to him for hours and he'd listen and show interest the whole time.

• Collects Beanie Babies.

• He needs noise to sleep. A fan, the TV, anything.

• He's an extremely slow walker and is always struggling to catch up to people.

{More than one}

• Aiden and Maya have a sister/brother relationship despite not being related in the slightest.

• Gill gets worms off the ground after it rains and gives them to Aiden for his turtle.

• Maya tries to make Gill pull all-nighters with her sometimes but he always falls asleep at like 11pm.

• Maya made fun of Aiden for how many middle names he has once and he pushed her off a bridge. Never again did she make fun of his name.

• Gill and Aiden stay over at Lukas’s house all the time to make pillow forts and binge watch cartoons. Maya refuses to participate because she thinks pillow forts and cartoons are cringy and childish. (shame on you, Maya)

dust and horror are both insane so they have their own versions of psychotic episodes. dusts are more emotional while horrors are more "off the hooks" (not sure I used that figurative language correctly...)

Horrordust

horrors a big guy. 7'10 to be exact. he's very much taller than dust who is 5'3 (shhh you might see their heights fluctuate sometimes I'm lazy with proportional consistency)

horror and dust have pet names for each other. for example, horror calls dust 'Dusty' 'Dust' 'sweet cheeks' 'Dust-Dust' and all the boring ones like 'babe' and 'baby/honey' or whatever. dust has a smaller variety, using names like 'Horror' 'Hor' 'babe' and 'eggshell (referring to his cracked head lol)'.

dust would never admit it, but he likes being held and picked up. it's more of a coping mechanism/comfort for him. however, horror is no stranger to this so he'll casually be holding dust like a cat and nobody would blink an eye.

their fights/quarrels are ... violent. they'll literally be throwing bone shards at each other while arguing over who broke the remote.

they both cuss a lot. just because they can.

Dust can get high off of horrors charm. I will not elaborate further

Horror and Killer dated for a short period of time-Killer cheated three times (not that horror really cared, and they both kinda just ignored it)

horror's WAY different when he's not with people he trusts. he's basically just like canon horror. cruel, cold, and mocking.

Craze does not have a properly functioning SOUL. they were created through a manifestation between Horror and Dust's SOULs, and you can see how that could go wrong.

they have a child. it's a fan child named Craze.

Craze

as a result of this, Craze is limited to a small range of emotions such as anger, fear, happiness, and sadness. they cannot comprehend betrayal or understand social cues, which is why they are so oblivious.

they also do not understand romantic/platonic relationships or bonds. they know they have two parents who love each other, but they're not sure why that is. all they understand is that there are people they can trust.

they are canonically autistic and have ADHD.

dust and horror are VERY protective of Craze because they tend to wander and lose focus.

Craze is always cold and doesn't seem conscious which is partially true.

they "inherited" some of Dust's LV so they are LV 4.

Hi! Wanted to ask if Spider is a neurodivergent in your fic? Because the chapter in which he stopped talking (I can't remember which one it was) immediately reminded me of people with ADHD / Autism who experience Shutdown (I suspect autism myself and sometimes experience such episodes).

I'm sorry you experience that, that must be difficult 💙

For me, Spider isn't autistic but he does have ADHD. However, with the lack of any formal education I think it goes largely unnoticed, and it's not really cared about - by him or anyone else.

Jake and Norm have probably joked about him being 'so adhd' whenever Norm would complain to Jake about how difficult it is to try and teach the kid maths or literacy. But I don't think that the lifestyle Spider leads makes having adhd as difficult for him as it is for kids in a school system. He has boundless energy and great ideas - both excellent traits for living out in the forest with the Na'vi. So I don't think he is disadvantaged by it in the same sense that we would recognise in a modern au.

I wrote Spider having a non-verbal phase in If You Playing Me (chapter 30) as a response to the trauma he'd experienced, and the amalgamation of all of his conflicting feelings towards Quaritch. So he is neurodivergent in my headcanon, but also he's just been through a lot 💙 Thank you for asking! 💞

It’s short for Amaransu, which means Amaranth in Japanese, and is a symbol of eternal love 💕

Info dump on my OC and some headcanons of her relationship with Hobie, under the cut 🌸

Her style is mostly pastel pink, with frills, lace and ruffles. She also has some punk elements, such as studs and chains. However, sometimes she just enjoys wearing a simple sundress. Her hair is a light pink and she has lavender eyes. She’s only 5 feet tall, which Hobie teases her about.

She’s not a spider person, but instead a variation of Black Cat. Only, instead of a cat, she’s a fox 🦊

Ama has healing and fire🔥abilities as well as a dash, which is useful for self defense and her larceny. She also only steals from the wealthy and powerful, then redistributes the money to those who need it most. However, her main goal is to get small idols that are dedicated to her fox goddess, Inari, who granted her abilities.

She’s loving, kind, and sweet. Very much a sunshine character. However, Ama enjoys trickery. Especially to those that she feels deserves it.

Her talents are painting, dancing, singing and baking. She’s trying to learn the guitar, in hopes of impressing Hobie, who’s been her best friend since they were little.

English is her second language, but grew up with it, so she can follow it pretty well. Only the slang throws her off sometimes, or she might pronounce something wrong/use the wrong pronunciation of words with the same spelling. (Looking at you “read” and “read”) Japanese is her first language, which she taught to Hobie. I just like imagining Hobie randomly speaking Japanese to her, or someone (maybe Penni), and just confusing the hell out of whoever hasn’t gotten to know him yet xD

Ama is also autistic and has adhd. So, it may look like she has a lot of different skills, but that’s just due to having various fixations over time. I also imagine that Hobie is also on the spectrum with adhd, so they both tend to teach each other about whatever it is they’re learning to do. For instance, they both know a bit about mechanics (to maintain the house boat), as well as sewing. Together, they can do anything xD

Her favorite animal is the fox. She listens to a lot of the same music Hobie does, but also enjoys pop music.

Ama is just as obsessive about hair care as Hobie is. In fact, they will regularly have ‘self care days’, where they’ll stay home and take care of both their hair and skin. Even going so far as to do each other’s nails 💅

I also imagine that they would just decide to randomly dance with each other. Like the music just bops and they can’t help but to dance along to it. Or even sometimes there isn’t any music playing at all, and they just wanna slow dance in the kitchen 💕

Ultimately, they’re partners in everything they do. Especially crime 🤘
