guys with Ahsoka show airing right now the most important thing that you have to remember is that Ezra is actually short, he's like 165cm (5'4? I think)
he's shorter than Luke, he's barely taller than Leia WHO'S A SIZE OF A BIG POTATO and he's built like a stick
Tumblr media
Yet, Eman Esfandi (the guy who plays Ezra) is tall af SO DON'T GET CAUGHT UP IN THE LIES OF THE ANIMATION-TO-LIVE-ACTION TRANSLATION, REMEMBER THAT EZRA IS SHORT AND DON'T BELIEVE THE PROPAGANDA YOU'LL INEVITABLY SEE ON YOUR SCREEN ‼️

It needs to be said and expressed. If you don’t mind the minor trauma dumping, here’s a listen.
Importantly, I am okay. I am still here and I am not going anywhere.

// I don't care if it's 'a starter job' or 'that it can be done by high schoolers'. Food service and retail employees are humans and they're doing their best with what they're given.
They're humans, just like you. Treat them with basic human decency.
Mistakes happen. Don't take it out on the overworked, underpaid, stressed and exhausted person behind the counter.
People always gloss over how mentally damaging it can be to work in retail. I fucking hate that whenever I say “I could never work in retail again” someone has to reply “You snowflake millennials can’t take a starter job because you have to INTERACT with other people” No. Fuck you. I’ve worked as a planetarium host. I’ve worked as a public speaker. I’ve worked as a tutor and as a student teacher. I can work with people. I can work with crowds. Retail was fucking different. Retail was being treated as a subhuman. Retail was being treated so poorly that you have anxiety attacks before work. Having to work retail was a factor in my last suicide attempt. If I hear you say one fucking word about retail workers playing the victim I will personally break every bone in your body. Fuck You.

I read this so fast I thought the last sentence said "Experience life as a comic." Which, to be fair, is hilarious in of itself (also I'm using my old cracked phone for shitposts, so whoopsie on the misread).

I just love love love that there’s a guy wandering about Dungeon Meshi going, ‘but what are the socioeconomic and geopolitical consequences of this fantasy quest adventure, both while it’s ongoing and after its inevitable completion?! The skillset required to find and kill a Mad Mage is different than that required to responsibly, benevolently and effectively rule a kingdom. I personally must either find a good candidate, somehow make one, or, most likely, take on the whole Mageslayer/King role myself.” Except he doesn’t have the first skillset, and his whole party keeps dying while these highly competent chucklefucks wander past, kill and eat the monster, and save their bodies for the nth time. Kabru would demand to know if Aragorn is familiar with Gondorin tax law. His isekai energy is off the charts, because this is all exactly what I would do if dropped into a fantasy quest adventure, right down to repeatedly dying due to not actually being suited to the genre conventions.

I'm sorry for the cruelty of this picture, but I couldn't see Amina and not share her story. Trigger warning: eye injury (bloody eyes).
Amina Ghanem, 13 years old, says: We were sleeping and we heard the sound of tanks when they came and walked over the caravan in which I, my father and my siblings lived. The tank squeezed us inside the tin all night, and we were ran over, until the morning. And when they finally let us out, I found that my father and my little sister have been killed. Now we've been brought here.
She tells her story in this video with her little brother beside her. They're all on their own. Their mother is outside of Gaza and cannot get in or get them out. They have no way of communication, their father and sister are killed.
The eyewitness of Genocide.
