After seeing a few people on here doing it, I wanted to try and redraw one of the panels from IEPFB. But I also didn’t want to redraw the scene, because it just reminded me that the whole storyline made me uncomfortable. So I turned it into a scene for @nathantheauthor ‘s rewrite for Needles And Smiles!

We’ve been talking about the Jeffery Keaton audio dramas A LOT lately, and since I apparently can’t seem to stop traumatizing the characters I love enough, it got me thinking “hey, what if Lazzy’s mom just decided to be more of a bitch and sent her off to the Asylum.” Where everyone is a piece of shit. And there are only two (?) responsible adults. And where she’s the only child there because her mom literally payed them to take her?

At least she’s out of the house, but now she’s surrounded by crazy people lol.

I decided to turn the panel into a little scene of Nina (because of course I had to throw her in too) asks Lazari why she got sent to the Asylum, and the poor child being too uncomfortable to answer. Cause how the fuck do you explain that you have a demon inside you that eats people?

I’m really happy with how this turned out, I missed doing little comics. The OG panel is under the cut!
