They noted this on her chart: 8:38 A.M. After which, according to their records, Annie lapsed back into her impenetrable isolation and did not utter another word. The doctor on call noted this on her chart:
“May have been responding to auditory hallucination.”

Hot take: the real reason Josie Packard shot Coop is because she was the only one who could see the bisexual love triangle forming between herself, Harry, and coop, and she needed to put one of them out of their misery
Edit: this is a joke

thoughts on audrey horne?
I love her! Strained relationship with her fans because fandom is obnoxious and won’t stop shipping her with an adult man who's crucial characterization moment is refusing to take advantage of her but the character is great regardless of how I feel about her fandom.
I hate her s2 girlboss arc, I’ve said this before. It’s not good. Audrey's last good moment of writing in s2 was her discovering that her father groomed Laura since she was small and how horrified she was. Then she just conveniently forgets all about that and the minor sex trafficking while she’s at it to become A Girlboss.
And Donna is already having a girlboss arc so it’s completely redundant. But s2 is a mess and everyone knows why. It’s not worth dwelling on here.
Anyway I like her s3 stuff a lot. I’m proud of her for ditching her dad and starting her own business. Sorry to the bootlickers who wanted her to be an FBI agent or exploitative millionaire girlboss. Of course her kid turned out to be a total shitshow but she wasn’t ready to have one anyway so it’s not that crazy or out of left field. In her last scene it seems like she’s in the process of escaping wherever she is, I wish her the best.

Josie Packard is an excellent character.
To me, the lies she tells and things she does make sense in a really sad and painful way. She needs to believe herself to be a victim, always hunted, the world out to get her. Lack of stability as a child led to this need for putting on fronts and being who people want her to be in order to survive, and it became such a way of life that it just caused her more and more trouble, a never ending cycle that, rather than keeping her safe, just perpetuated the instability. This tends to happen with real life victims of trauma whose response is maladaptive.
She’s not a monster, but she isn’t innocent. She needed someone to see what was really going on and care enough not to let it keep happening or make it worse.
Like Katherine said, she may well believe all the lies and characters she makes up for the people she attaches herself to. This doesn’t necessarily make her delusional, it just makes her perception of how the world is and how she is a bit altered.
Harry was a good coping skill, I will say, but not much else. He couldn’t see her, really. He REFUSED to see her as anyone but an innocent, beautiful young woman.
She shot Cooper ‘because he came here’, and I think that, more than anything, she could sense he had potential to make her and others see her and break the cycle. I think what she was truly afraid of was facing herself, of changing, of getting help, healing.
And god, if that isn’t real, Josie.

twin peaks is so insane for managing to simultaneously say that everyone in the community is responsible for what was done to laura but it can also all be explained away by there existing a personified evil supernatural being that is responsible for all of it but actually also just like in reality it's not really about the supernatural deep down because real abuse and murder and evil is being committed against women by the most ordinary seeming men that are also supposed to protect and love you. because in reality it's not strangers that commit the most violence against women but rather men they already know. and saying it's a demon could've easily lessened the impact of that in one way but it almost ends up strengthening it instead because it paints the actions of the real killer as like the most unbearably awful terrifying shit in the world. it still reflects real life while showing it to be unspeakably evil to the point its hard to understand it. so it's like they were so horrified by the idea of a father murdering his daughter that they thought it's impossible to portray this without also showing him to be the literal devil and most scary and evil person you've ever seen, which i think makes perfect sense and is a good stance to take lol. because like to me it doesn't just read as him being possessed and so not culpable for his actions but maybe people disagree idk.... i haven't watched past ep 7 yet. anyway controversial statement twin peaks is a good show.....
