fandom acting dense as hell when it's time to analyze a very obvious rape victim without victim blaming and/or fetishizing and romanticizing it will never not piss me off (alicent hightower a literal child bride being blamed for "seducing" a grown ass man, ellen hutter being raped by orlok as a child and him praying on her since being interpreted as "her being ashamed of her sexuality", laura palmer being raped by her father being framed as "he was possessed by a demon so it's not him" as if BOB isn't an allegory for generational incest and leland in his "non possessed" state was seeking out sex workers that look like his daughter, anya being shipped with curly as if he didn't protect and enable her rapist and people writing aus about her keeping her rape baby, etc...)

Leland Palmer is one of if not the scariest TV antagonist ever. Every scene he's in unnerves the hell outta me and makes me kinda nauseous. Honestly (most of) the men in Twin Peaks are pure nightmare fuel to me cuz they're just too realistic. They're so casual while they're being actual spawns of Satan and that's exactly how men are in real life and it's so scary
