#also yes i AM using the existence of the multiverse for evil
Text
Tumblr media
[ID: two sets of drawings of Viktor and Five as centaurs. The first is approximately s2-s3 era; Viktor, whose horse half is a brown pony, is grinning smugly at Five. Five's horse half is a black foal and is shorter than Viktor. The second set of drawings is during s4; Viktor is still a brown pony but now Five's horse half is mostly grown up and thus significantly taller than him. (Five's horse color has also changed to a dark gray). Five is the one grinning smugly now, and Viktor says "Fuck you." End ID.]
omg guys season 4 made centaur au canon can you believe it. somewhere out there, every au you can dream of can be true in the reality of the show. wow!

WELLL claps hand together
the story is about these teenagers trying stop an evil cult from destroying the entire multiverse, so they go to different dimensions to stop their evil ways. Also they are teenagers so they have to deal with personal angst, family issues, morality, school ect ect while trying to stop the cult leader and their right hand men
Tumblr media
Caroline is technically the main character of my story, she is basically the bubbly, positive one of the group. Her family is rich as hell, they used to live in Taiwan as successful business people but they moved to America because they wanted to make more money. Her family doesn’t really like her and they emotionally and physically neglect her since she came out as a transgender girl and her older sister is kind of a coward and doesn’t stand up for her (fun times)
anyway she ends up having to do a group assignment with her childhood friend which she kind of drifted apart from (Andie) and some punk girl she probably has a crush on (Mimi), they eventually end up in an abandoned house and find out that their town is run by an evil cult that can teleport to different dimensions. So they feel guilty enough to stop it.
they think the best course is to beat the 7 plane hoppers who are in the way to kill the main cult leader, the stag. though out the whole thing Caroline is basically pushing through by toxic positivity saying everything is alright even though they have killed many people, she also kind of convinced herself that this is a video game and is probably more okay about sacrificing people and herself (for the better good)
Also her sister possessed during her 17th birthday party for funsies
HIII SO RRYYY IM ONLY GETTING SROUNF TO THIS NOW falls over and dies
thank you for the food that is oc lore, i am eating it om nom nom
that all sounds FUCKING AMAZING ACTUALLY. cults ?? universal travel bullshit ????? all while dealing with normal teenage bs ?? thats beautiful. poor little guys. they need a break. i CANNOT imagine trying to exist as a teenager while trying to take down a cult qyehdjdkkdks
dont worry.. your eldritch horror loves you... i am so glad to know that ! /silly
..fuck her family ! they can rot ! caroline )): you dont deserve any of this..
THAT MUSTVE BEEN A REVELATION ?? WOAH ?? just. doing a school project and ope government is a cult (/hyp)... insane
i actually fucking love the whole like. unwilling chosen one Vibe to all of this ?? yes theyre not chosen nor are they truly unwilling but. the Vibe is the same. the guilt (on thier part) is real...
caroline. love. youre fucked up. just like me frfr. agh thats. so cool tho ?? 'EVERYTJING IS FINE, ALL OF THIS IS A GAME !!' and ljke. fuck thats such a fun thing in fiction when a character copes using that ?? its the perfect level of fucked up bcs it rlyyy drives rhe point home and. im giving them all a shock blanket okay ?
oh boy !! thats fun !! poor sister..
what does the cult worship‽‽ i am so fucking curious..
lso like, whats the difference between each plane? is it an alternate reality sorta situation where things are relatively the same but Different, or is it judt flatout. different EVERYTHING (people, laws of physics, all that jazz)?? or somewhere in between or outside of this ofc.
do all the plane hopper guys like.. stay in different universes and have a branch of the cult established there..
why does the cult run the town in the first place ? was it a thing where like. they wrre the original settlers but then the town expanded aorund and beyond the cult ?? or did they move in and do a slow takeover.....
fuck i have so many questions /pos
this is. so cool. i love the Vibes. theyre so... Impending.. ahdjskdisjjdjsks

Ok so I am pasting this brilliant meta from the amazing @queen-of-meows in our discord server coz it was so amazing, it would be a shame to not preserve it 💚
I feel like some poeple are scared when Marvel leaves the good guys vs evil dichotomy. I saw posts calling phase 4 cynical because it do question some stuff. I agree Phase 4 has a lot of démystification of the Avengers and the Phase 3 events. But is it cynical, or is it an attempt at saying something about our society through worldbuilding ?
Enemies like Hydra are easy to use. They're cruel bad guys who are just here to put a mess and there is no need for complexity for the poeple who fight them. The TVA is more insidious because they are the product of a systemic issue, and by the current state of things they appear to be a necessary evil. Fighting them require thinking outside the mold because it makes sense for characters in-universe to support them. Or for a TVA agent to convince themselve they are the good guys because they indeed save some lives at times. But the system is fundamentally unjust and cruel.
And sometimes poeple who fight the system are not shining cartoon heroes but "dirty", "worthless" marginalized poeple breaking the law for their own survival. I would not call Sylvie a villain but she's definitively a complex character. And so is Loki.
I love, love, love your line about people who fight the system not always being shiny, cartoon heroes 💚💚
Also adding the amazing commentary by @the-girl-who-sold-the-wxrld
The thing is that, when we think about it, there is no real vilain in Loki. At leats no classic vilain.
The TVA is horrible, yes, but its purpose is not power or revenge or anything. The TVA exists to "protect" the multiverse from chaos, wich makes it complex, because on one hand they do horrible things, on the other hand they are not *just* bad.
HWR is not a total vilain either - he did that because he was scared of its variants, and wanted to prevent the multiversal war, after seeing how dangerous it could be.
The TVA agents are the product of dehumanisation, propaganda and brainwashing, and all thought they were acting for the good.
Sylvie killed hwr because he ruined her life, which lead to a multiversal war, but here again she is not a villain.
So I think people are confused because they are not used to that kind of complexity in medias
And another awesome addition by @glitterandflowercrowns
The TVA brings up that idea of whether it’s worth it to keep the peace at any price. A lot of people would agree that yes, avoiding war is the most important thing. But the price in this case is destroying entire realities so they don’t lead to one man being born. And people on the Sacred Timeline live with the illusion of free will but are in fact all following a predetermined path and get pruned as soon as they do something that doesn’t line up with what *someone else* planned for them. I feel like the people who defend HWR and claim what he did was right because the multiversal war would’ve caused innumerable casualties gloss over the fact that the TVA was killing trillions. But somehow it’s okay because those people were variants or sth.

The letter J is only 500 years old so quit worshipping Jesus’s fake hateful ass as he ain’t nothing but fake! Me being real in general makes me the superior one...
Dumuzi is my name and life is what my name means! Truth is what I speak and I don’t care how mad religious nutjobs are as I’m the real deal here! The real thing is always better than the wannabe fake! Dreizehn means 13 aka my number! Plus it starts with a D like my name!
Earth means “Ea’s Kingdom” and was meant to be pronounced with a silent r! Ea is King Enkai’s alternate name! The planet is named after him not your false hateful genocide screaming false god!
There are many gods and goddesses! And the truth is something that was never written down correctly!
Many deities had their gender stated incorrectly! Queen Ninsun, Ninsar, and Nergael are fine examples of misgendering!
Also gods and goddesses are all gay or rarely bi meaning heterosexual people f’d up big time! Homophobes are screwed!
No one is heterosexual on Nibiru as we can same sexually breed! Child comes out in a light before anyone asks about that..
I’m the real Messiah and Messiah means “Hero of Rainbows” and I love Marduk[[pronounced Mar-duke]] not my worst enemy Ishtayr!
Ishtayr and I hate each other! She’s my worst enemy! So anyone who ships me with her deserves to be punched in the face and have the shit beat out of them as if you humans knew exactly what she did to me…
I know you humans wouldn’t tolerate her either… she’s done the worst.. the absolute worst of worst of things.. she’s the number one worst criminal in the Multiverse.. she isn’t immortal long lived unlike true deities.. because she is The Great Evil from the First Universe means she isn’t a true deity but referred to as Fell Goddess because she was reborn from my kind…
We don’t know how she did it either… all we know is she did and she’s the biggest threat to the Kosmos which has regenerated a few times as we’re in The 8th Universe…
Why the Multiverse exists is because I sacrificed myself in the First Universe and cast a spell to defeat her back then.. a spell which shattered me and created the Multiverse..
Like I said I am the real deal and me being here on Earth means humanity’s time is short as J-Day is more near then any of you humans think…
Kohora means “Below/Underworld” and is what is under this universe... Yumera means “Dreamworld” and is above this universe. No human for ages if any has gotten into Yumera..
Kohora isn’t grim like yeah there is a cavern area but it’s landscape is like Nibiru - A surreal like fantasy landscape with some places that you would think could only exist in a child’s imagination…
Like we grow meat, we grow sweets, we grow a lot of things with majic.. yes it’s spelled majic not magic or magick as weirdos think it’s spelled… anyone who thinks it ever had a k is a fool… same fools who think warlocks are bad which they aren’t as they are just male witches…
Majic users aren’t evil and never were as the only evil ones are the ones who falsely claim they are!
My main three typings are Ice/Dark/Plant while Ishtayr’s is Rock/Light/Fire so you can imagine the battle between us is gonna be violent….
My typing oddly mirrors my birthday and that is December 25 but I was put back together over 500,000+ years ago so that is a major climate time period difference! Mesopotamia was a jungle like marshland back then so animals did graze in the Winter!
I was born at night[[dark]] in Winter[[ice]] while plant I guess fits Kosmos Day’s celebrations as Kosmos Day predates Yule and Xmas… although a Kosmos Day tree is orange not green!

okay,  so,  here  are  my  thoughts  on  the  finale,
i’m  gonna  start  with  the  things  i  didn’t  like,  just  because  of  who  i  am  as  a  person!  my  feelings  are  mixed,  but...  looks  lovingly  at  evil  morty.  he  truly  was  the  only  exception  as  usual  ♥
i’m  not  going  to  lie,  this  whole  thing  felt.  rushed.  although  some  of  rick’s  meta  commentary  about  not  touching  citadel  shit  because  it  was  canon  and  he  and  morty  were  supposed  to  be  going  back  to  lighthearted  one  off  adventures,  and  “the  second  he  reveals  that  he’s  evil,  we’re  out”  made  me  laugh,  it  also  felt  very  disingenuous  and  ham-fisted.  having  him  do  all  these  fourth  wall  breaks  honestly  took  away  from  the  impact  of  what  this  episode  could  have  been,  but  whatever.
i  just  got  the  vibe  that  they  wanted  everyone  to  stfu  about  the  citadel  and  evil  morty,  so  they  quickly  stuck  together  this  episode  that  dealt  with  fans’  demand  in  one  fell  swoop  so  they  could  move  on  from  the  existence  of  both  plotlines.  i  honestly  thought  it  was  a  bit  wasteful  since  tales  from  the  citadel  resonated  with  a  lot  of  fans  and  it  was  an  interesting  bit  of  worldbuilding  with  compelling  narratives  going  on.
you  already  all  likely  know  how  irritated  i  am  with  morty’s  character  degrading  so  much  once  again.  this  entire  season  has  been  building  him  up  to  becoming  so  much  more  capable,  only  to  wrench  it  away  from  him  again  by  instead  having  his  co-dependency  with  rick  ramped  up  to  the  point  it  was  literally  out  of  character.  this  has  come  out  of  nowhere.  at  no  point  in  the  show’s  entire  run  has  morty  ever  been  this  needy  with  rick.
again,  i  feel  like  this  may  have  been  written  around  what  eventually  ended  up  happening  at  the  citadel,  with  the  revelation  that  mortys  are  ‘bred  for  forgiveness.’  it  would  have  been  far  more  compelling  for  our  morty  to  have  continued  to  go  down  the  path  of  being  decidedly  unforgiving  of  rick’s  bullshit,  thereby  making  him  deviate  from  the  norm  in  a  similar  way  to  evil  morty  himself  and  implicating  that  the  cycle  of  a  morty  going  to  these  extremes  is  going  to  be  repeated  once  again.
rick  did  not  deserve  or  earn  voicing  the  recognition  that  his  dynamic  with  morty  was  toxic,  and  abusive.  are  you  fucking  kidding  me?  the  smartest  man  in  the  universe  only  JUST  clocked  onto  that?  bullshit!  he’s  known  all  along,  and  he’s  been  using  it  for  his  own  gain!  he  doesn’t  get  to  just  say  it  with  that  regretful  voice  as  if  he’s  been  clueless  /  oblivious  to  it  this  entire  time.  they  just  wanted  the  audience  to  feel  sympathetic  for  him  by  throwing  in  this  tidbit  and  a  tragic  backstory,  as  if  that  even  sort  of  makes  up  for  everything  he’s  put  his  family  through.
abandoning  the  people  you’ve  hurt  is  ALSO  abusive  and  toxic  behaviour!  he’s  done  it  time  and  time  again!  how  is  acknowledging  the  fact  that  you  hurt  people,  that  you  hurt  your  family,  the  people  that  love  you  despite  the  fact  you  objectively  don’t  deserve  it,  then  ditching  them  once  again  instead  of  staying  with  them  and  improving  as  a  person  and  helping  everyone  heal  from  what  you’ve  put  them  through,  ANY  BETTER??  he  never  changes!!
i  also  couldn’t  really  process  the  fact  that  rick  just  handed  morty  his  portal  gun  like  it  was  nothing--  i  feel  like  him  topping  it  off  and  using  it  behind  rick’s  back  should  have  been  a  bigger  deal  than  what  it  was.  also,  morty  would  not  break  a  guy  out  of  a  mental  asylum  without  a  second  thought.  he  simply  wouldn’t  do  that.
we’ve  fallen  right  back  into  the  status  quo  of  morty  being  stupid  and  rick  being  the  smartest  one  in  the  room  who  always  knows  what’s  going  on,  even  when  he  actually  shouldn’t  for  the  sake  of  a  few  meta  jokes.  which  is  more  annoying  than  i  can  put  into  words  tbqh
obviously  i  hated  all  the  parallels  they  were  attempting  to  make  between  rick  and  morty  having  a  romantic  relationship  and  “breaking  up.”  never  has  morty  behaved  so  uncharacteristically  in  any  other  episode  of  the  show.  it  honestly  felt  disrespectful  to  all  the  growth  he’s  had  as  a  character  to  reduce  him  to  something  so  pathetic.
i  guess  this  is  less  of  a  thing  i  disliked,  and  more  of  a  commentary  on  rick’s  character?  but  once  again,  his  hypocrisy  really  leapt  out  at  me  once  it  was  revealed  that  he  always  has  a  hand  in  bringing  together  beths  and  jerrys  in  order  to  ensure  that  more  mortys  will  end  up  in  the  multiverse.  i  find  it  unbelievably  sad  that  he’ll  willingly  ensnare  the  two  of  them  in  the  throes  of  a  relationship  that  he  knows  is  likely  to  become  toxic  and  cause  the  both  of  them  to  be  miserable  throughout  their  time  together;  they’re  rarely  happy  /  compatible  together  and  always  end  up  sticking  it  out  for  the  kids.  it  also  makes  his  constant  shitting  on  jerry  even  more  egregious  and  almost  serves  to  call  his  love  for  his  daughter  into  question  for  me.  he’s  using  her  as  a  means  to  his  own  ends  by  manipulating  situations  so  she’ll  meet  jerry  and  they’ll  likely  end  up  together.
don’t  get  me  wrong,  i  actually  really  loved  the  fact  he  had  a  hand  in  founding  the  citadel  he  now  loathes  so  much,  and  i  think  the  constant  creation  of  mortys  as  grandsons  ‘bred  to  forgive’  ricks  is  so  fucked  up  and  awful  in  the  most  intriguing  way.  it’s  akin  to  him  fiddling  with  the  concept  of  keeping  mortys  in  constant  pain  to  cloak  his  comings  and  goings  around  the  multiverse  (on  paper,  morty,  on  paper!),  except  this  time  he  did  it  in  reality.
evil  morty.  oh  my  god,  evil  morty.  my  saving  grace.  my  ray  of  light.  i’m  so,  so,  so  pleased  with  the  way  he  was  handled.  while  i  admit  i  was  looking  forward  to  more  of  a  slow - burn  thing,  getting  a  bit  of  insight  into  his  presidency  and  possibly  exploring  a  dynamic  with  him  and  c-137  (we’ll  get  to  that)...  i  honestly  still  really  loved  what  ended  up  happening  with  him,  even  though  i  still  believe  on  some  level  that  they  just  wanted  to  tie  up  his  narrative  thread  so  fans  wouldn’t  remain  fixated  on  him.
of  course  he  did.  of  course  that  motherfucker  rick  created  a  boundary  within  the  infinite  multiverse  that  ensured  he’d  always  be  the  smartest  man  within  it  as  far  as  mortys  and  other  people  in  his  life  were  concerned.  i’ve  always  found  it  odd  that  such  universes  were  never  brought  up  even  in  passing;  the  nature  of  infinite  possibilities  always  dictated  that  someone  smarter  than  him  must  exist  out  there,  and  that  worlds  existed  where  he  was  nobody  special.
him  being  morally  gray.  i  could  cry.  i  was  clinging  on  to  the  hope  that  it  would  be  shown  he  hates  ricks  more  than  he  looks  down  on  mortys,  and  it  absolutely  was.  while  he  was  okay  with  killing  and  hurting  mortys  to  achieve  his  own  “selfish”  ends,  it’s  clear  that  he’s  unhappy  with  the  cycle  of  abuse  from  their  infinite  grandfathers  that  pushes  him  to  these  extremes,  loathes  the  concept  that  mortys  are  not  supposed  to  defy  their  ricks.  “if  you’ve  ever  been  sick  of  him,  you’ve  been  evil  morty  too.”  he  hates  ricks  FAR  more  than  he  does  mortys,  and  you  can  pry  that  from  my  cold,  dead  hands.  he  believes  mortys  are  beyond  help  because  of  the  way  they  stick  by  rick--  the  fact  they’re  literally  created  with  being  yes-men  for  rick  in  mind.
he  didn’t  seek  to  make  changes  for  the  greater  good  of  other  mortys  within  the  citadel.  i  think  he  understood  on  some  level,  it  was  impossible.  i  think  he  has  this  belief  that  other  mortys  are  part  of  the  problem,  because  they  perpetuate  the  cyclic  dynamic  of  toxicity  and  harm--  they  don’t  move  to  break  free  from  it  the  way  he  does,  and  so  he  feels  no  guilt  leaving  them  behind  while  he  breaks  into  the  aspect  of  the  multiverse  where  rick  has  no  power.  it’s  honestly  heartbreaking  that  he’s  come  to  have  a  mindset  like  that.
i  think  seeing  c-137  reach  out  to  help  rick  up  once  again  instead  of  accepting  what  i  hope  and  pray  was  a  semi - genuine  offer  to  join  him  as  he  departed  was  just  yet  another  instance  of  him  witnessing  a  morty  doing  the  most  to  save  the  man  who  makes  their  lives  a  living  hell.  if  he  was  truly  unsympathetic,  he’d  have  made  no  such  offer.  if  he  thinks  a  morty  is  capable  of  pulling  away  from  the  hold  ricks  have  on  them,  he  wants  them  out  of  this  shit  just  as  much  as  he  himself  wants  to  break  free  from  it.  i  think  he  has  the  mindset  that  i  know  they  tried  to  play  it  off  with  “haha  the  other  seat’s  a  toilet,”  but  i  don’t  think  that  was  the  case  and  they  were  once  again  just  undermining  the  moment  for  no  good  reason.  SCREAMS!!  don’t  get  me  wrong  what  he  did  WAS  selfish  and  evil.  but  in  a  way  you  can  understand  where  it  derives  from
again,  it  REALLY  irritates  me  they’ve  undone  so  much  of  morty’s  character  just  to  ensure  he  wouldn’t  end  up  taking  evil  morty  up  on  his  proposition.  if  morty  had  retained  even  a  tenth  of  the  character  growth  he’s  been  having  from  late  season  four  until  towards  the  end  of  season  five,  wherein  it  began  to  unravel,  he’d  have  left  rick.  undeniably.
the  yellow  portal.  oh  my  god............
it  made  me  so  fucking  emotional  to  see  that.  he’s  won.  he’s  free.

OKAY OKAY WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT THE SECOND EPISODE BECAUSE I HAVE QUESTIONS AND I AM SQUEALING.
First of all, it’s bold of them to assume that we need a “previously on”. It’s not like we don’t know the first episode by heart already, hahahaha!
Alright, so first of all: LOKI USE YOUR POWERS BABY. Was he stalling? Was he trying to get more information? Is “Lady Loki” really that powerful?! It kind of looked like he didn’t really WANT to fight her, does that make sense? It makes sense to me! Also add telekinesis to Loki’s powers, YES BABY!
Speaking of "Lady Loki”--I was SCREAMING because she looks so FREAKING BADASS I LOVE IT but I still don’t buy it! YES, she’s got the Loki costume. YES, she’s got the horns even but hear me out: SHE’S BLONDE. I don’t mind Lady Loki being blonde, it looks REALLY COOL but that MUST have been a conscious decision of them then because as far as I’m concerned, Sophia is not naturally blonde, neither is Lady Loki in the comics but you know who is?! SYLVIE. And when Loki called her “Loki” she was like “ugh, don’t call me that”. EXCUSE ME, WAS THAT A HINT? Also did Loki recognise her? He didn’t have any lines after that, so I can’t tell? I have to watch it again! if he didn’t recognise her, then maybe the story will stray a little further from what we know about Loki and Sylvie in the comics (in which Loki gives Sylvie her powers so they’d have the same magical signature or whatever). Or with all the different timelines and multiverses, our Loki never met Sylvie in this one, who the fuck knows? I feel like there’s gonna be another plot twist. Don’t forget we get a “Young Sylvie” at some point, that’s gotta mean something!!! I still believe this is the Enchantress! And/or, taking up my previous theories on it being both Lady Loki and Sylvie at the same time, she might have changed her identity for whatever reason and now firmly believes she’s Sylvie or something. IDK, GEEZ.
Guys, I have to be honest with you, I have NO CLUE where this is going! I’m completely BLANK! WHAT does she want?! WHY is she doing this? Honestly, I don’t think she’s evil, I don’t think that her goal is the annihilation of everything. There’s gotta be more to it than that but we just don’t have enough information yet to put the puzzle pieces together. AND NOW THAT CLIFFHANGER HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO WAIT UNTIL NEXT WEEK?! Where did they go? IDK. Could be that “purple” place from the trailer. They sure are going to have a  proper conversation though in the next episode.
Now I freaking love Loki’s outift, I just RAAAWR. That TIE. That JACKET. I WANT THAT JACKET. He ALMOST got his daggers back, my poor baby, SO CLOSE! This episode made me cackle so much, it’s soooo different to see Loki like this; first of all, again, knowing his usual tricks don’t work and he doesn’t have the upper hand per se makes it really interesting to see how he acts around Mobius and the rest of the TVA. Away from Thanos and the influence of the sceptre, Loki seems so much more... blithe? Does that makes sense? It’s a completely different side of him but then again we get those darker scenes where we see the intimidating Loki we know and it’s like we’re getting to know Loki all over again? JUST IMAGINE WHAT HE’S LIKE IN A RELATIONSHIP THEN, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! It just makes SOOOO MUCH SENSE that Tom said that Loki acts differently around dfiferent people.
ALSO CAN WE TALK ABOUT HOW HE TRIED TO HIT MISS MINUTE!!!
Now, two more things (I’m really just randomly throwing things at you here):
First of all, LOKI SPEAKING LATIN. Again, I’m not quite sure how or if the Allspeak still affects him (since the Mongolian thing in the first episode made us wonder about it already) but I’m just gonna go ahead and say that Loki is fluent in Latin because he FREAKING COULD.
Second of all, I thought it was very suspicious of Mobius to say “I don’t care what makes you tick” because in the first episode he wanted Loki to explain to him just that. Was he lying? I still don’t trust him. NOTHING IS REAL, honestly! That conversation they had in the cafeteria really proved to me that the TVA isn’t to be trusted. When Ravonna and Mobius talked I even thought maybe the Time Keepers don’t even exist at some point.
AND LOKI IS NOT LETTING ANYONE GET TO HIM ANYMORE. Did you see him read of the destruction of Asgard?! He was TEARING UP, you could see the grief on his face and then when he told Mobius (RIP Mobius’ salad) and he went like “I’m sorry” Loki was just like “Yes, very sad,” in a nonchalant way and moved on to tell him what he’d found out rather excitedly. This is the PERFECT example of Loki continuing to do what he does so much, just concealing his feelings and his vulnerability behind mischief and I STILL WANNA HUG HIM.
All the different Loki Variants they should the team, I freaking loved this but it does raise the question at what point in the “sacred timeline” these Lokis hopped off the timeline to cause mischief? Which in turn raises the question if we’re right not to trust the TVA and the sacred timeline is a bunch of bullshit? Also, you know what would have been hilarious too, if they had included a Norse Mythology version of Loki. You know, ginger hair and all. I feel like Loki would have approved of that cameo, hahaha!
Speaking of the Norse Myths, it’s funny how Loki freed those goats in Pompeii because in the myths, he once tied a goat’s beard to his testicles to make Skadi laugh. Thought that was a fun little connection!
It’s now canon, by the way, that there’s no candy on Asgard. Not even chocolate?! We know that Loki looooves chocolate, don’t we? Awww, baby! Now I feel like writing an Imagine where you take Loki to a candy store and he gets to try everything and then gets a sugar rush, hahaha!
And, last but not least, “PROFESSOR LOKI” HIT DIFFERENT. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF. He’s such a smart cookie I LOVE IT.
I might add some more stuff and reblog this post once I’ve watched the episode again, I’m still processing everything, hahaha!!!

Wandavision theory no one asked for #7438292018484
Bc I refuse to accept that Pietro is not Peter here is my theory as to what happened and yes next week I’ll be proven wrong and I’ll look like a dumbass but let me dream!!!
This weeks episode confirmed Agatha has been controlling Pietro all this time - meaning she needed a distraction to stall for time for evil shenanigans bc Vision is woke now. Therefore she needed a distraction they surely would pay attention to, someone Wanda desperately desires and longs for which is ofc Pietro. But Agnes can’t actually resurrect anyone, which is proven by the fact Vision cannot exist outside of the hex as he is dead in that reality (why they were able to bring some sort of consciousness back to Vision’s body idk, maybe bc he’s not human and AI so he can exist in an fabricated reality aka the hex? also remember vision doesn’t have vision’s memories!!) So Agnes takes to the multiverse and plucks a Pietro out - X Men’s Peter and controls his mind ala apocalypse/professor x/tesseract
I think this part is very likely, but this is where I’m getting into tinfoil hat territory but liSTEN I think it works : how did Agnes get Wanda to agree to this in the first place? Mind control is way too easy imo, plus wandas so fucking powerful dude, she’s like alpha level and Agatha is not I don’t think. I think that Agnes tempted Wanda somehow, playing on her grief and promising her a world of her own, however neglected to tell her about the ethicalities and her malicious intent. Basically she manipulated her and took advantage of her in a vulnerable state. Who’s to say this wasn’t the same approach she took with Peter? Why would she settle for a Quicksilver who looks nothing like ATJ Pietro? Because EP Pietro is vulnerable just like Wanda, and willingly went with her, and Agnes tempted and manipulated him too.
What if in the X Men universe, Wanda is dead? We know from DOFP and the deleted scenes that Peter has two sisters - a younger one (who I thought was Lorna but the timeline doesn’t add up) and one who is older, perhaps a twin? Wanda? Pietro tells Wanda that “he knew she needed him” - could Agnes be using Nexus so that Peter can feel MCU Wanda’s distress and pain calling out to him? Thinking he can save his deceased sister, he stops at nothing to try and help her in a love only sinling’s have. In Apocalypse, 10 years after DOFP, Peter is still living at home. Now ofc this could just play into Peter’s ‘man child’ persona but who’s to say something didn’t happen to Wanda between DOFP and Apocalpyse? Something traumatic that lead him to regressing and becoming overly attached to his remainding family? Why wouldn’t Peter invite his mutant sister to Xavier’s so they could learn to control their powers if she was around? Peter in DOFP is morally ambiguous, what happened in 10 years that made him want to fight bad guys? Maybe just growing up, but possibly to avenge his sister? If Wanda is gone, Peter’s behavior in Apocalpse makes so much more sense - his sudden need to reconnect with Erik, an attempt to fill a void longing for family, and ultimately him choosing not to tell Erik at the end of Apocalpyse. Peter realises Erik is mourning, just as he was - and Erik needs to grieve and heal, attempting to fill the void that Nina and Wanda left would not benefit either of them and would possibly hurt their relationship. There is no instant fix with grief. If Peter truly wants Erik in his life, they both need to grieve first.
If this were the case, there would be a poetic parallel between Wanda and Peter who have lost their other halves, trying to run away from their pain and warping reality. It would be a beautiful arc for them to accept their losses, accept they are not each other’s Wanda’s and Pietro’s - but look to form a meaningful, but separate relationship. I think this would be great in terms of storytelling and amplifying the themes of the show. I feel the overarching Wandavision message is to properly deal and face grief and pain, rather than bargaining and cheat reality by denying it and fabricating a new one. The only way out of grief is through.
Or I’m completely wrong and just trying to save Peter from Fox’s shitty writing, and am just so desperate to have my himbo back lmao - anyway I thought it was a good idea lol

Analysing Episode 6 Sylvie - her actions, her choice and a whole bunch of theories (Spoilers!)
After watching the Loki finale, I have been scrolling through Tumblr for quite a long time. I already knew that people's opinions were gonna be incredibly different but I definitely did not expect this much negative backlash. Especially when it comes to two specific topics - the Sylvie and Loki kiss and Sylvie's betrayal (/choice/actions). I'm gonna be talking about the latter, for it is another time I'll talk a lot about Sylki's relationship. (Beware that this post is also really long though)
First of all, everyone has different opinions and I respect that. I absolutely adore movies, books, TV-shows and videogames because despite what's happening within the story, each viewer has the opportunity to see something else in what they are shown (besides the obvious canon). What I mean is that everyone interprets certain scenes differently and gains the opportunity to make up theories. Therefore I want to clarify that I do, by no means, want to force my views upon others. It's nice to see people talk about the Loki Series (as long as it doesn't get too negative and hateful, iykwim) because every viewer can share their specific experiences with it :)
I'm gonna analyse Sylvie's character a bit ( because, well, I'm bored and I kinda wanna protect my beloved character that I've only had for a few weeks >:^0 AND the only thing I could think about the past day was this episode) and try to explain her actions in the finale (keep in mind: not justifying them, but explaining them).
I'm terribly bad at concentrating on one single topic point so I kinda made a 'list' with questions and whatnot that I wanted to dive deeper into. Your thoughts are also more than welcome!
I already want to apologise for grammatical mistakes, for I am not a native english speaker.
Sylvie's reason for being taken away by the TVA is still kinda unknown
You know, I've heard quite a few theories about Sylvie's nexus event by now. Some people say that she got taken away because she was playing with her toys in a way that indicates her having a good heart (playing as a Valkyrie and wanting to save someone, another hint may also be the reaction she showed towards someone else who got kidnapped by the TVA, yelling at the soldiers to "help them out"). Another theory is that she already knew she was adopted, unlike Loki who found out way later than her. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but we never got to hear the actual reason why Sylvie got kidnapped. Even Renslayer didn't say a word about it.
Now I'm gonna come up with yet another theory. What if Sylvie didn't really have a nexus event in the first place how we know it? In the final episode, Kang has said that he has planned out everything beforehand so both Loki and Sylvie would end up right in front of him. Did Kang's plan also possibly involve him getting killed by Sylvie? Hear me out: We don't actually know if the Kang we saw in episode 6 is the actual 'nice' Kang and not one of his evil variants. He has already talked about 'reincarnation', so who says that after ending the first universial war, Kang didn't reincarnate into someone with an unpure heart (aka, one of his evil variants)? That'd mean that the real Kang would have been killed and the Kang we've seen in the finale is actually an evil version that simply lied to both Loki and Sylvie. Besides that, we also don't know if Kang actually had that 'point' where he didn't know what would happen next. The show revolves a whole lot around trust, not only regarding the characters, but also the viewers. Who's to say that Kang said the truth? Maybe he planned it all out: He created the TVA, let Sylvie get kidnapped and therefore give her a reason to hunt after Kang, who in return could reincarnate if he got killed OR get killed and therefore give his other variants a possibility to conquer the universes yet again. Don't you think that it was kinda suspicious that Sylvie escaped so easily out of Renslayer's hands? The one person who's probably closest to Kang? (Even though, yes, she doesn't know who he is but Renslayer seems to play a very important role in his plan). What if the Kang we saw was the nice Kang though? Would he plan everything up to a point where another universial war would break out because he might know that there is indeed something/someone out there who could end it and therefore, possibly end Kang as a whole or create a new kind of system revolving around the universe? And therefore, get rid of the possibility of another universial war happening? Who knows. I am definitely overthinking and reaching at this point. One more thing that stood out to me while thinking about the episode again today (which kinda weighs more into my theory of Sylvie being a keypoint (or rather a puppet) in this plan): Kang has talked about his Tempad and that he knew that he would need it to have enough energy. But for what? Yes, his initial idea was to give it to Loki and Sylvie to rule over the TVA, but what if it was supposed to be used for another reason? Sylvie used it to transport Loki back to the TVA (though I kinda think he was accidentally transported to another timeline, hence the reactions of both Mobius and Hunter B-15) and therefore get rid of the only thing that could prevent Sylvie from killing Kang. The Tempad was used to secure Sylvie's path and therefore eradicated Kang's only option of safety. You can see the Tempad loosing it's glow after Kang was killed, possibly due to Kang himself being the origin of it's energy. But maybe, it only had enough energy for one specific action: getting rid of Kang's protection. I do think that Sylvie is now stuck at this place and somehow has to find a way back to Loki's reality. The Tempad clearly doesn't work anymore (at least in my opinion) and there was quite a long shot showing the Tempad up close, which is kinda suspicious tbh. Also, something regarding Sylvie's unanswered nexus event feels kinda odd to me, too.
My theory in conclusion: Sylvie (and Loki) are unconciously helping Kang with his plan (a big, big, BIG plan). They're his puppets, especially Sylvie, because she's the one who created the Multiverse to begin with. Think about Loki, who was said to be manipulated by Thanos in Avengers? It's basically the same train of thoughts.
Sylvie does not take Kang's offer into consideration
To be honest, this was something to be absolutely expected of her. Sylvie was kidnapped as a child, taken away from her home and family, and had to grow up in countless apocalypses where she could never form a real bond with anybody because she knew that those people were all going to die anyway. (Please don't judge me if I got that wrong, maybe I understood the next thing wrong? Idk, if so, I'm very sorry) She revealed that she was kidnapped way before Loki was even born (something I have to think about, too, because, if Loki is the actual Loki the other variants are based off, why did he exist after Sylvie? Wouldn't that make him a variant of Sylvie instead? Idk timelines and parallel universes are hard to understand for me :') I'm kinda stoopid ), therefore she must've had spent several decades of her life running away. She had no life at all. Her only goal was to bring down the TVA and whoever is behind it, driven by pure rage, seeking out revenge for stealing her life and basically forbidding her existence. And now that she has found said person, the only thing that'd be right for her character would be to go for the kill. As immoral as it may sound, it is the only thing that makes sense. And I am actually very happy that Sylvie's goals didn't change besides the fact that she did indeed soften up a little and has gotten someone really close to her. In contrary, it makes sense for Loki to do the exact opposite. His goals have changed. He does not act the way he did in Thor or Avengers anymore. He has found another goal for himself: to make Sylvie feel alright. He has had immense character growth and didn't take a chance to change his goals back in the Thor movies or in Avengers, (....maybe later in Thor: Ragnarok, kinda). This is exactly what I think might happen to Sylvie, too. She is at the beginning of her character arc. She doesn't take the chance to change her goal, but goes for her original goal instead. Said goal does not really have positive consequences (though, maybe it might have some? We're about to find out), which results in a so called 'negative character development', which Loki has already gone through. I think that Sylvie is gonna grow as a character in season 2 and get a positive character development in addition, just like Loki did. I highly doubt that she's gonna become the antagonist, it does not make sense at this point.
Why does she not take Kang's offer (besides her very obvious intention ofc)? That leads straight (or not so straight, pun intended) to the next thing I wanna talk about. Sylvie's distrust in everything and everyone. Besides not wanting to let other people go through what she has been gone through and wanting to let people have a free will, she also does not trust Kang with his offer of 'ruling' the timeline. And it might be because she also does not trust the one she'd be ruling with: Loki.
Why does Sylvie not trust Loki?
I don't even have a specific answer to that, except that Sylvie has an incredibly thick wall built up around her. Loki has always been portrayed as the one you should not trust because he's known for backstabbing people. Loki could have thought the same about Sylvie, but he didn't. Due to his character arc, he himself has learned to trust other people and tries to redeem himself with making himself a person others can trust (He may project that onto Sylvie, meaning that he puts his trust into a Loki variant and therefore in himself, too). You can connect that fact with both Sylvie and Mobius. They're both people who are incredibly important to Loki. He wants them to trust him. He openly told Sylvie about his mistakes and tells her that he's not that person anymore. Sylvie on the other hand does not trust that easily and is - in my opinion - a very important key regarding Loki's character development. It is incredibly hard for Sylvie to trust others (probably due to her trauma) and it therefore creates a very difficult situation for Loki, where he has to 'prove' himself as trustworthy. It's basically about 'trusting yourself' if you put it that way. It's something Loki has to learn about himself: not betraying the trust of others. Sylvie might have to learn something like this, too: learning to trust someone else. It's kinda like a two sided coin - one side is about putting trust in others, whereas the other is about gaining trust from others (and what you do with it). (Good) Relationships in general are always based off trust and honesty. So in order for them to be able to have healthy relationships with others and themselves, they have to learn about trust within themselves (I hope you understand my point, I got carried away, sorry). Loki started to trust Sylvie very easily (maybe because of love? Maybe because of something else? There are still a lot of unanswered questions) whereas Sylvie doesn't trust Loki very easily. Sylvie's character arc might (hopefully) carry on with this topic in the next season.
Was that kiss initiated due to emotional or practical reasons?
Kinda both, somehow. I do think that Sylvie used the kiss to her advantage but you can also clearly see how moved she is while hearing Loki's words. Facial expressions are insanely important when it comes to acting and both Tom and Sophia delivered perfectly. You might've already heard of the quote "The eyes tell more than words could ever say". Look at Sylvie's face when Loki tells her that he wants her to be okay. She is teary eyed, sighs even. She is indeed touched by his words and I strongly think that Sylvie also has non-platonic feelings for Loki, despite barely showing anything.
Here's a snippet out of an interview with Sophia:
Tumblr media
(Source)
Both Sylvie and Loki are said to be people who can not trust others. They both have a vulnerable side though. Loki clearly showed that several times when with Sylvie (singing to her, the blanket scene, the comfort scene in the room of the timekeepers, the confession of wanting her to be okay) and is also shown incredibly vulnerable at the end of episode 6: there are several shots showing him, crying. Sure, we have already seen Loki cry a few times beforehand but this time, it's different. He cries because the one person he is the most vulnerable with doesn't trust him, and that does hurt like hell. By the way, if you look at the close-up shot of Sylvie after she yeeted Loki back into the TVA, you can see pain in her eyes, too. But that pain quickly shifts into rage and determination. Something that I have to admit was incredibly well executed by Sophia and the people who directed this shot. Sylvie does show her vulnerable side for a brief moment before putting up her walls again and reaching for her goal.
In conclusion: I think Sylvie initiated the kiss as an emotional response to Loki's words but also used it to distract him to be able to kick him back into the TVA at the same time. Keep in mind that it was because he was in her way of fullfilling her goal. She didn't want to kill or hurt him, so she sent him away instead. So, yes, I think the kiss had both emotional and practical intentions.
Did Sylvie betray Loki?
Even though it really felt like she betrayed him, she didn't. Let me tell you why:
Loki knew exactly what Sylvie was gonna do after reaching the person behind the TVA. Loki supported her all the way up until Kang suggested a deal to them, that's where Loki's and Sylvie's paths divided. Loki is a very smart character, he outsmarts a lot of Marvel characters and therefore I think it's very in character for him to consider one part of the deal and outweigh the pros and cons. Not because he wants the throne, no, but because he wants Sylvie to be okay. A universial war could lead to countless casualties - possibly those people close around him, so of course he would want to keep her safe through that decision. Making them both rulers over the TVA and the sacred timeline would probably guarantee a strong protection from several threats. Also, maybe he thought about the possibility of Sylvie regretting her decision (which she clearly did in the end) and wanted to protect her from even more emotional pain. But as we know, Sylvie's intention has always been laid out in front of her and it didn't change. Loki knew what choice she was going to make and merely tried to change her way - without being successfull.
I don't really know what to think about this scene though. To me, it doesn't meet the requirements of a 'betrayal' but at the same time it does feel like one. It's very difficult to explain :'D
Also, I've seen some people asking themselves how or if Loki will ever be able to forgive Sylvie for making her decision. Let me assure you one thing: he will forgive her. He has said it himself: "I know what you're feeling, I know what you're going through". He has been at Sylvie's point, too. Not only once, but several times already. He seems to have learned from his mistakes, Sylvie has yet to do so. ("I betrayed everyone I've ever loved" is a line to keep in mind now, too. Maybe it could even be projected onto Sylvie this time, because Loki is indeed very dear to her) If there's someone out there who can empathise with Sylvie the most, it is Loki.
Why would Sylvie straight up cause another Universial War?
As I already said. Sylvie's arc is a negative character arc. It does not end well and causes a lot of chaos. Think about Peter Quill in Infinity War and his rage moment on Titan. They could have had the infinity gauntlet way before but Peter got emotional (understandable) and therefore destroyed the chance of an early good ending. The same happened with Sylvie. Her decision was mostly emotional, but also practical on the other hand (giving people free will and freedom). She will face the consequences and I'm pretty sure she's gonna redeem herself and tries to help fix the big mess she has caused.
Sylvie's breakdown
Another scene that was absolutely brilliant was the scene after Sylvie has killed Kang. She backs off slowly and then slumps to the ground, breathing heavily (now that I think about it, I think she even started to cry). She has waited for this moment her whole life, but now that it's done, it kinda feels like she didn't exactly get what she needed. Hunter B-15 has already mentioned it before that Sylvie needs to hunt the person behind the TVA down, unlike Renslayer, who only wants to find out who it really is. Although Sylvie might have recognized that this wasn't everything she needed at this point. We already got to know that she didn't have a clue what to do after she's done with the TVA. She didn't have a goal beyond that. And now that she has reached the point where she is clueless, she might have recognized what she really needed beyond finishing her goal: friends, a life, literally anything that doesn't make her feel alone. And she literally just kicked that one thing away from her. Loki, the one person who has been closest to her and gave her the feeling of not being alone anymore, the feeling of having a friend (or someone more than a friend), has been pushed away by herself. I think that in this exact moment where she sinks to the ground she recognizes that not trusting Loki was a mistake this time and that revenge isn't enough to satisfy her forever.
But maybe that one thing that will satisfy her for a long time is something she's returning back to in season 2. I am so excited to see her again and find out more about Sylvie's character!
Thank you so much for reading this! If you want to add something to this list or correct something or anything, feel free to do so. I'd love to hear your thoughts on Sylvie's character in the finale and what you think might happen with her in season 2 :) see y'all, stay safe and have a nice day/night!

I just put two Doctor Strange MoM memes into the queue, so since I wasn’t here when that film came out, one quick thing I wanna put on record here (in case anybody even cares):
I always like to play this game “if I could change ONE thing” (I always, always have a long list, I have come to realize that some films I love to bits I would still dramatically change, and I have a weird way of consuming media, where I simultaneously like things more than critics, while also very rarely feeling satisfied; I am so easy to entertain and extremely hard to please... that should be something I need to examine one day).
For Multiverse of Madness the ONE THING is actually easy to pick. While yes we can talk about whether or not Wanda’s whole arc from WandaVision has been pulverized or if “It WaS tHe DaRkHoLd” is explanation enough yaddayaddayaddadiscourseblablablablablablabla - I don’t like how Wanda was willing to replace another Wanda. She dreamed of these other versions, she saw happy families, she saw her sons living with her. See, Wanda was always in the picture, since dreams are windows into their counterpart lives. Now you know what Wanda should have then obsessed about? The universes she can’t access, the ones where she is dead, where there are orphaned twins. BOOM! It would make all the sense for her to chase America and gain her powerset. She can dreamwalk into the other universes where she is with her children. But like it is stated - which is a great emotional moment though - “they are loved”.
That is the one thing I’m truly unhappy with. Wanda would have had to make the other Wanda disappear. To make another self unhappy. Well, being dead doesn’t seem to make Wanda unhappy judging from the moment she got dusted. And to me burying herself under a whole mountain was probably a peaceful moment. Woman is built for embracing death. And then this whole thing with “if I had America’s powers I could find them and then if anything happened, travel all the Multiverse to find a cure”. That showed their hand of how convuluted it was.
A very obsessed, dark!Wanda stating “I can hear my boys, they are calling for help, there is a universe where Billy and Tommy are alone and afraid and I need the power to jump through universes to find them” - how easy is that?
Wanda killing all those wizards? Decimating another universe’s equivalent to the Avengers? Sure. You do you!! :3 But not seeing how kidnapping the children from another living Wanda wouldn’t really get her what she wanted... that feels so very weird. Of course I get how that is the crux of it all. Meeting this other self, frightening the kids as the false!Mom - it snaps her back, sparks that humanity left. But I think we could have still have that. The moment of clarity “I have become the monster, just to save children I don’t even really know, who might not exist in the way I think of them”. That accessing these what-ifs is not the answer, but the seduction of the evil, evil book and those demonic spells (and then we get a little glimpse of the power behind she has to turn her back on *cough*ChthonnotMephisto*cough*)
It’s kinda a minor detail, but to me this little change would make the whole chase feel tidier. This would truly be something where Wanda needs America’s power to succeed. At the same time the little spark of humanity would be very visible, and yet all the violence and the killing would still be horrendous and monstrous. (Wanda realizing she killed an alternate version of Monica’s mom could have been used to hit her harder even. I think though that since Maria became Captain Marvel, it’s plausible to believe Monica doesn’t exist in 838. Ah, the massacre of the Illuminati was a glorious scene. It is weird sorta seeing House of M and Avengers Dissassmled out of order of sorts... but hey, give me memoryless Wanda now living in Latveria and use Children’s Crusade next...)

Loki: Religious Predestination v Free-Will
And how that affects his relationship with Mobius, narratively speaking
So. In case it isn’t clear by *gestures at my whole blog*, I’m a Supernatural blog. I’m a DeanCas blog. I haven’t been around much lately because there are very important, Orwellian things going on in Brasil, but I still keep up with the fandom. And, more important to this post, I still keep up with whatever Marvel’s doing, which means I get up at 7 am every Wednesday to watch Loki.
(Before we start, I’d like to note that I had never actually published any meta on Tumblr. The most I had done was give it to my philosophy and biology teachers as school essays. So, bear with me, okay?)
Well, what does Supernatural have to do with Loki? Not much, except for the narrative they very obviously share. The characters are different, their motivations too, and so are many of the variables that surround, but deep down, at the core, it is the same narrative of Religious Predestination versus Free-Will. And yes, that drives me all the way up the walls.
Religious Predestination is the idea that all events, past, present, and future have been foretold, “written”, predicted by divine, omnipotent beings. There are different types of Predestination, but the two I think fit the most here are Double Predestination and Middle Knowledge (yes, most of my knowledge of this comes from Wikipedia, sue me).
The first claims that God (or whichever omnipotent divine being is responsible for the predestination, in this case, the Time-Keepers) chooses from his own will who will be “condemned” and who will be “saved”. This applies to the show when we consider the fact that Loki has been “predestined” to be a villain. Is all he’s ever been, it’s what he was “born to be”, while the Avengers were all born to be heroes, according to the decrees of the Time-Keepers.
Meanwhile, Middle Knowledge defends that, before the creation of the world (or, in this case, the Sacred Timeline), God already knew every choice that every free-will possessing creature could make in any given circumstance, and He chose the “timeline” that most suited his will. This version also makes sense when we consider the existence of multiple timelines and that the Time-Keepers united them and decided what would be the proper flow of time.
Now, which exact version of Religious Predestination to pick isn’t exactly my point here. My point is that I) everything about the TVA screams Religious Predestination allegory, from the minutemen and other agents being “created” to the words “decree” and “dictate” being thrown around whenever Ravonna is on screen or someone’s talking about the Time-Keepers (who just so happen to be kind of worshipped at the TVA, as there are so many statues of them. They are treated like gods. They are gods.). Do you know what else is a Religious Predestination allegory? Blade Runner. Do you know what was one of the main inspirations for the TVA’s design? Blade Runner! That could mean nothing or that could mean something given *gestures vaguely at the rest of this post*.
So. Loki seeks to escape his “Destiny”. He wants to make his own choices without them being decreed by divine, omnipotent beings. He wants his successes and failures (but mostly his successes) to be his own, and, most important, he doesn’t want to be what everyone expects him to be. Not anymore. Not after what he saw at the TVA. Because everyone is telling him that he was “born to be” a villain (or, at the very least, a side character), he will now want to prove to everyone that he can be more than that. Because he is that “insubordinate, stubborn, and unpredictable” (even if he plans on overthrowing the TVA, I don’t think he sees that as an act of villainy. Maybe he never even planned on actually overthrowing the TVA, maybe he just wanted to get the Variant).
And Mobius, well. Mobius is a good TVA agent. Not all good, of course, ‘cause he has shown more than once that he doesn’t completely agree with how the TVA does things (“They should be scared” “Not of us”), even though, at the end of the day, he believes in them and accepts their mission because he believes they are doing the right thing (unless I’m completely wrong about Mobius, he is the true villain of the show, and has an evil plan of his own. Sorry, I saw a post and now I’m paranoid). So, what happens when an already questioning, though devoted, agent of the Time Variance Authority like Mobius comes into contact with someone like Loki, who pretty much worships Chaos? After having studied Loki’s whole life, and admittedly being a big fan? Well, this happens:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(If looks could kill indeed, Mobius)
Loki is supposed to drag Mobius out of his comfort zone at the TVA, to make him question things harder. Because it would seem “good people are never truly good”, so what’s behind the TVA’s Orwellian, Blade Runner-y scenario? And, even if they’re just really boring and full of paperwork, why should anyone dictate the proper flow of time? What about Free-Will, what about Chaos?
That is how this sort of narrative is supposed to go. Because Loki and Mobius are complete opposites in where they came from and who they wanna be, but at the same time, they’re much alike, as Ravonna even says. She accuses Mobius of being just as insubordinate and stubborn as Loki is. Loki was born and he wanted to be king because he thought (and was led to believe) it was his birthright. Now he wants to tell his own story more than ever ‘cause how dare the Time-Keepers predestinate Loki. Meanwhile, Mobius was created and all he’s ever known is the TVA’s order. But he is stubborn at heart and he craves humanity (the jet ski???), even if he believes he can’t have it because it’s too chaotic or simply not meant for him.
Mobius doesn’t see Loki as a villain (“no one bad is ever truly bad”?). He believes that Loki can be better. And Loki, if I’m reading this right, should help Mobius see that he’s, you know, kind of working for an authoritarian agency, what with “dictating the proper flow of time” and all that. (Yeah, yeah, I know. Multiversal war this, multiversal war that, but isn’t Doctor Strange’s next movie called Multiverse of Madness? Also, has anyone ever actually met the Time-Keepers? Or do all the TVA agents just blindly follow their orders? Maybe we’re bound to have a Multiverse by the end of this anyway.)
(And I’ve seen this narrative before. Faithless man meets angel, makes angel question Heaven’s orders, angel finds out Heaven is not that good after all, angel literally fall for the faithless man. In between, there is a lot of staring and standing too close and betrayals. It’s ridiculous how similar it is.)
So, where was I going with all of this…look, narratively speaking, from what we’ve seen so far, these two are a perfect match (and I’m not even mentioning Loki’s thing for older men in positions of power, which Mobius is completely aware of
Tumblr media Tumblr media
). But there is a big, big distance between the narrative pointing towards something and the creative (though, let’s be honest, probably the executive) powers following through.
Now, it wasn’t just the Religious Predestination thing that caught my attention here, no. It wasn’t even the Blade Runner parallels (I’m quite sure Loki has Galatians Syndrome, but that’s a whole other post). It was how similar the plot of Loki is to the plot of Where Mischief Lies by Mackenzi Lee. It caught my attention to the point that I’m nervously glancing at my book while writing this. But I don’t want this to be too long, so I’m gonna put that on a separate post.
Anyway, I hope at least some of this made sense, and thank you so much for reading through my rambling!

Hot & Spicy Takes: Multiverse of Madness
I saw it when it premiered on Thursday and I feel kind of mixed about it really? Was it the best movie? No, but it was fine; I feel like it could have used maybe a half an hour more to fit some extra story stuff in. Below are my thoughts, It’ll get pretty spoiler heavy so maybe avoid if you haven’t seen it yet.
TikTok theorists have been debating this movie for months, who is going to be in it, how this movie will be the most awesome ever because of it’s cameos and while some were right, some were very wrong, which I’m actually glad about because I did not want Tom Cruise as Superior Iron Man.
America Chavez: I loved her, it’s kind of funny to see how much Doctor Strange warmed up to her as opposed to his relationship with Peter. I had positive thoughts about her; I wanted her to find her mums, hopefully she will in the future.
Wanda: While I understood her motivations, I feel like more time could have been given to her corruption; how she got to that point, how she found out about America, why none of the other dimensions she looked in had a Vision (That is a bit sus, huh? I suppose his death was a fixed point too)
I saw people saying this movie made them not like Wanda but I felt sorry for her, she deserved some happiness and the end of WandaVision implied that she was going to save the kids (Which would have been better) Instead of trying to take them away from another version of herself. Although it would be interesting if the screams she heard were them actually yelling at her, hmm.
Doctor Strange: There sure was a lot of him in this movie, him playing all the parts super well and yet in that flashback scene with Christine he was clean shaven and me and my sister just started giggling cuz it looked so wrooong, sorry Bendy but you’re not hot unless you have a beard.
He had some nice character development; We saw that he’s not happy, a lot of people still question his decisions about the snap, that he still loves and misses Christine a lot, that he’s a big old hypocrite by telling Wanda not to use the Darkhold then goes ahead and uses the Darkhold.
Wong: Wong was great, he was out there being all supreme and pulling rock monster down the cliff, good for him. Too bad a lot of his apprentices got offed though.
Christine: In a shocking turn of events, I actually didn’t hate Rachel McAdams in this movie, that was rather an odd experience.
The Illuminati: What a bunch of wieners! Strange be like listen, Wanda she’s dangerous and they were all like ‘nah, but you’re still more dangerous though’ they all got bodied though, like damn. It was nice to see Professor X, Reed Richards and Captain Carter (I know TikTok has a hate boner for her, but I like her) interesting they called in Black Bolt considering that everyone likes to pretend the Inhumans series didn’t exist, gives me hope that one day they can bring Daisy back into the fold.
Now for the quick fire, a lot of other things they could of expanded upon:
So who carved that big picture of the Scarlett Witch on the wall? Was it them funky monsters? If yes then they have some skills. Also I know no one ever goes there but surely someone must have known about it beforehand?
What I am getting from the multiverse is that in every dimension Doctor Strange is an asshole psychopath and ours is the only that that is sort of normal, weird😲
Wong said the Darkhold that Wanda had was a copy, so like how many copies were out there and how did Agatha get one? Also she was already pretty evil, how was she corrupted by it?
People be like ‘Oooh, Loki and Sylvie broke the multiverse’ Odd they didn’t make an appearance in this then.
it was a very pretty movie but some story beats felt off, I think because Sam Raimi said he hadn’t seen how WandaVision ended before they started filming, that makes a lot of sense.
Everyone out here gushing over Reed and I’m like ‘Sir! Sir where is my badass Phil Coulson? They can pretend all they want that AoS isn’t canon but the multiverse has been split open baby, he’s out there somewhere.
When Strange goes to find her, she’s just projecting an apple field somewhere, uh sir? Did you not realise that wasn’t real?

what are your thoughts on MoM?
thoughts? what are those?
but no i thought it was weird and out of character for wanda to make absolutely no mention of pietro. and she did mention vision but i also thought it was weird that she didn’t talk about him re: his existence across the multiverse.
the story as a whole felt like it was spread a lil thin across all the main characters they were trying to showcase?
but i loved the horror elements. loved the gore. loved wanda’s big demon lackeys.
i liked america but i feel like they didn’t let us get to know her enough. her emotional scenes felt rushed which i really didn’t like bc they gave the white man a lot of emotional moments that just didn’t land or were a waste of screen time.
the dr strange what if episode did a lot more for me in terms of his relationship with christine than this movie did. the wedding scene was nice n angsty but i just didn’t care enough about them as a couple.
idk where all the peggy hate comes from (although i haven’t seen agent carter so if it comes from there it makes sense that i am unaware) but i liked captain carter for the five seconds she was around. we like jetpacks. very sexy that she died by her own shield.
did not like that they rained on wanda’s parade for using the darkhold but the second strange picked it up to dreamwalk he was a hero for it. that’s gross.
also did not like that strange fully disregarded the fact that he was a Villain in so many other universes but made it his entire problem that wanda was doing bad things in One universe. seemed very “but i’m a nice guy give me a chance” service-y which is also gross.
liked the evil dead nod.
LOVED seeing maria in a super suit. loved seeing her in general. did not love seeing her die.
loved the noodle death. and the "what mouth" death. very sexy.
visuals were pretty.
although yes marvel's cgi is getting out of hand but that's above my paygrade.
idk i had a good time?
just hoping they don’t do any weird stupid shit with clea.
in conclusion my thoughts are as follows: wanda maximoff is the most powerful magic-user in the multiverse. let her do what she wants she’s been through enough. but i’m very glad she didn’t kill wong.
also is it just me or did wanda’s old accent keep creeping in?

Top 10 versions of Stephanie Brown across media & the multiverse:
I was asked how I would rank the different versions of Steph on a discord I’m part of & I thought it would be fun to share here as well.
10. Bombshell Steph
Tumblr media
She doesn’t show up until literally the very end of Bombshells but I like that it’s shown she exists in the universe, I also like the art for Bombshells so I’m glad to see Steph drawn in the style (also I like her little hat)
9. Future’s End Steph
Tumblr media
Future’s End is a bit of a messy event but I love her suit, I also loved seeing Steph as some version of Batgirl again after it had been so long & seeing her fun dynamic with Cass again as they bantered was great in its own right. I also liked how Barbara & Cass were shown to clearly respect Steph: Cass calling Steph the bravest girl she’s ever know & Barbara talking about Steph having the heart of a lion it’s a nice moment (even though I wish Nell could have been part of the League of Batgirls)
8. Post Reboot Steph
Tumblr media
It’s hard to call reboot Steph, Stephanie Brown since DC have taken away so many of her traits & don’t even write her in character anymore more often than not Steph has constantly been altered to fit the writers OC story needs than be written in character or given respect to her previous history however I am grateful that the name Stephanie Brown still exists in current comics & I hope that one day someone will come along & write Steph in character in main comics again. Also hey this version of Steph was trained by Catwoman, that’s kind of neat I guess.
7. Batwoman Steph/ Earth 3 Steph
Tumblr media
Yeah, yeah I know Earth 3 Steph doesn’t make sense because moralities are supposed to be flipped Blah Blah Blah, whatever this was the coolest thing Steph had gotten in years! This was before she had gotten the Batsymbol back in main continuity & she was Batwoman! I like the idea of Steph being such a good person she doesn't have a single evil version of herself in the multiverse, Stephanie Brown is always meant to be a superhero. (Plus her entrance as Batwoman was rad)
6. Young Justice TV Show Steph
Tumblr media
Go Girl Give Us Nothing!
This version of Steph is on the list because she’s Steph’s first real other media appearance, yeah the directors said Tim Drake’s wife in Return of the Joker was supposed to be Stephanie Brown but we literally just see the back of a blonde woman in a purple dress at least in the Young Justice show Steph actually got to do a few things for a couple of minutes & had a couple of cool lines. Plus the things we know about this version of her that we learned from the Shows comics & interviews such as the fact that this version of Steph is from Bludhaven & is currently the youngest member of the Batfam (other than Baby Damian), making her become a hero even younger than her comic self did, has some pretty interesting & cool implications. I sure wish she had gotten the screen time for those things to be explored.
5. A World Without Young Justice Steph
Tumblr media
I love Robin Steph & I love the fact that Robin Steph was such a popular idea amongst so many people at DC years before she ever actually became Robin in main continuity it really shows that Steph is a great fit for the Robin role. Also with all the drama around Steph’s time as Robin I love any universe where she’s fully accepted as Robin, I also think there’s some pretty interesting implications of Steph being the second Robin because that would leave a wider gap between Dick becoming Nightwing & Bruce getting a second Robin than it does with Jason.
4. DCeased Steph
Tumblr media
Finally some well written, in character Steph post 2011! Her being Robin? Her being acknowledged as Damian’s big sister? Her getting Talia’s respect? Yes! YES! Give it to me! This was the best Steph we’ve gotten since the reboot, not only did DCeased acknowledge Steph as Robin but it also wrote her in character again for the first time in years & brought back her sibling relationship with Damian! Sure wish she hadn’t died via Black Manta but hopefully the whole Lazarus Pitt & Talia subplot actually pays off.
3. Tiny Titans Steph
Tumblr media
She’s a baby! She’s so cute! What’s not to love? Tiny Titans is adorable so I’m glad that Steph got to be in it, Steph’s appearance include some cute interaction between her & Tiny Titans Dick & Barbara which will always be fun to see in any universe & Tiny Titans also acknowledges Steph as both Robin & Batgirl which means it does better than a majority of DC’s other comics.
2. Nightwing Steph
Tumblr media
I love Nightwing Steph though most don’t know about her. Nightwing Steph was originally supposed to appear in a story BQ Miller had set in the future where an adult Steph was Nightwing training a now college aged Nell Little as Batgirl, unfortunately due to the N52 reboot the story never came into print & instead BQ Miller snuck Nightwing Steph in as a Black Mercy vision in the last issue of Batgirl (2009), BQ Miller would eventually write a Nightwing Steph story set in the Smallville universe though unfortunately Dan Didio who had a vendetta against Steph for not being Babs got wind of this a few months before the comic was set to come out & had a last minute recolouring turning eggplant to orange & declaring the character Babs instead despite the fact there had already been several announcements of Steph being Nightwing in the comic & art of the character being released. Because the character was originally supposed to be Steph the comic reads as a Steph story & not a Babs one & there are even several references to Steph’s Batgirl run & history as Spoiler throughout the Smallville comic.
I love the idea of Nightwing Steph because legacies mean a lot to Steph (as seen from her unbridled joy at being Robin & Batgirl) & so I like the idea of her adult self still being in a legacy mantle when she eventually moves on from Batgirl plus Nightwing Steph has such 'look how far we've come vibes' with her having been constantly disrespected as Spoiler to growing up & inheriting the mantle of one of the most respected heroes in the community, it’s what she deserves.
1. Preboot Steph
Tumblr media
God I love this girl, she’s been Spoiler, she’s been Robin, she’s been Batgirl. She experienced hardship after hardship, constant disrespect, died & came back & ended up as a character known for her hope, love & kindness. I love that she’s been through so much & still has the heart of a hero, she’s inspirational & amazing & I will always love her stories. Steph’s Batgirl run was one of the first comic runs I ever read & I will never stop being amazed by the strength of Steph’s character & heart. She deserves EVERYTHING

WandaVision: Dissecting the MCU’s Most Successful Superhero Couple
Tumblr media
Disclaimer: I am only using the term WandaVision as the coupling name for Scarlet Witch and Vision. I am not centring this discussion on the upcoming Disney+ series but rather talking about the 6 year build up to it.
Introduction:
Tumblr media
Despite the fact the likes of Hank Pym’s Ant-Man & Janet van Dyne’s Wasp along with Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman are Marvel Comics’ most prominent superhero couples, Scarlet Witch and Vision have always been that “unusual couple” that became a fan-favourite, didn’t diminish either character’s individual stories and, once the two were officially introduced into the MCU in 2015′s Avengers: Age of Ultron, became a hotly anticipated coupling by fans from their somewhat instant connection.
Not only is this comics-accurate love story finally being realised in the MCU, but the fact Kevin Feige feels as passionate about them as fans like I do that he is giving them their own series to shine, along with Wanda herself being involved in the MCU’s next big arc with exploring the Multiverse, I think it is safe to say that WandaVision have outshone the likes of Ant-Man and the Wasp and other couplings to become the MCU’s It couple.
Well, considering Disney+ released a new behind the scenes series called Marvel Legends last week with the first two episodes focusing on Wanda and Vision, despite them being no more than clip-reels of the characters MCU timeline, I wanted to delve in deeper and discuss how characters that were deemed B-worthy enough to be sent to streaming...which suddenly seems like the place to be...have suddenly become the hottest commodities in the MCU.
The Age of Miracles:
Tumblr media
Wanda Maximoff first appeared in the MCU in an mid-credits scene for 2014′s Captain America: The Winter Soldier, adding the cherry on the top of what was already a glorious cake of a movie by unofficially introducing Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Sidebar, this was, at its time, very confusing for fans who believed that Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver were owned by 20th Century Fox in their X-Men movies. However, after the announcement of the Maximoff twins in the MCU and Quicksilver appearing simultaneously in 2014′s X-Men: Days of Future Past, it was revealed that a deal was made between Fox and Disney that the twins would only have certain traits in either universe.
Tumblr media
For the X-Men movies, they would be Mutants, have their origins as the children of Magneto and...even though this never happened...appear as members of the Brotherhood of Mutants.
Tumblr media
For the MCU, the Maximoff twins are known as enhanced individuals gaining their powers from the Mind Stone after experimentation from HYDRA. There is no mention of them being Mutants, their parents were indirect victims of Stark Industries, and despite Pietro having his original speed physiology powers, Wanda started off with Psionic Manipulation rather than Chaos Magic as her comic-book counterpart has.
However, it has been confirmed by Kevin Feige that Wanda’s shapeless red energy is magic of the same elk to Doctor Strange, just untamed. Meaning the upcoming alternative sitcom reality Wanda has created in WandaVision restoring Vision, could be an application of her latent reality warping powers.
The Maximoff Twins were officially introduced in 2015′s Avengers: Age of Ultron originally as operatives of HYDRA, before moving on to serve Ultron until defecting from him after realising he was evil and joining the Avengers in their fight to save their home country Sokovia.
Tumblr media
Vision meanwhile was officially introduced at the end of the second act for the movie but his predecessor JARVIS was first introduced in Iron Man way back when in 2008...the movie that started it all.
As Tony Stark’s A.I. assistant, JARVIS was stated by Stark to be a top of the range program that runs more of Stark Industries than anyone other than Pepper Potts as CEO. However, when Stark had the ingenious idea to create Ultron...otherwise known as RDJ wanting to steal Hank Pym’s most famous comic-book storyline...as a peacekeeping program to safeguard Earth from extra-terrestrial threats, in typical sci-fi fashion Ultron goes evil and seemingly destroys JARVIS.
However, JARVIS simply retreated into the server only to return after the Avengers acquire Ultron’s recently created synthetic android. The Science Bros. transfer JARVIS’ conscience into the synthetic body and with the help of Thor/s thunder charge Vision was born.
Tumblr media
I have to say also, while superhero movie trailers do get me excited for said superhero movie, seeing the reveal of Vision in the final Age of Ultron trailer gave me that wow factor moment only X-Men trailers usually do.
Comics to Movies:
Tumblr media
As I have always admitted, I am not as in-depth with the comics as the movies. However, Scarlet Witch and Vision are two characters I have followed pretty since I first found out about them in the mid-noughties as a teenager.
But what cemented the two as my favourite Marvel characters overall, from Comics, to Movies to TV, is the literal creation of the twin sons Wiccan and Speed who became key members in the Young Avengers.
Now yes, both characters have had lives separate from each other because, as I said before, they are still their own characters despite being also known as a couple. But while Wanda has had a somewhat twincestuous relationship with her brother in far comics history, and Vision had his own family of synthetic androids including daughter Viv, who was a playable character in Marvel’s Avengers Academy, I find the best in Marvel Comics writing was actually after their twins were reabsorbed into the demon Mephisto as they were fragments of his soul and Wanda went crazy heralding in the House of M.
Tumblr media
Also, not only is Wanda apparently getting her Scarlet Witch moniker either during or after the MCU Multiverse arc, but also a more comics-accurate costume. Up until now Wanda’s costume in the MCU has been they street-casual which does suit the Wanda of Sokovia. Even when she joined the Avengers and got an upgraded costume it did seem more like something someone could wear for a casual day out...as proof, my sister dressed up as the MCU Scarlet Witch by finding clothes in standard clothing stores rather than costume outlets.
My favourite Scarlet Witch outfit to date has been her full-length red gown complete with headdress from the comics, the headdresses of Magneto’s daughters are so iconic that when Polaris crafted her own out of Magneto’s medallion in The Gifted I was fanboying so hard.
Tumblr media
We already know Wanda will be wearing a Halloween costume inspired by her iconic comics suit in WandaVision, but if the Halloween costume looks that impressive, I cannot wait to see what her actual supersuit looks like.
Throughout the MCU:
Right from the start, I really enjoyed both Scarlet Witch and Vision in the MCU, despite Scarlet Witch still not to be known as Scarlet Witch to date in the MCU. But from when we see cameos of Wanda and Pietro as experiments of HYDRA, that one quick shot of Wanda displaying her powers I was sold.
Tumblr media
Vision meanwhile gave himself a somewhat modified version of his comics-accurate cape because he saw Thor had a cape and wanted one. He could also wield Mjølnir, does this make him worthy? It must do despite the Avengers constant mithering about it. If you can wield Mjølnir you’re worthy.
Tumblr media
Talking from a romance perspective, it was a big tease of the two getting together right up until 2018′s Avengers: Infinity War as while it was teased in 2016′s Captain America: Civil War, a romance wasn’t actually shown until we find them in Scotland.
Interestingly enough in the comics, the couple retire to New Jersey rather than Scotland.
Also, like a lot of heroes, both Wanda and Vision seemed to get an upgrade in powers every movie. We always got teases of both their full potentials in the quieter moments like when Pietro died and Wanda, feeling her twin dying, vaporised the surrounding Ultron Sentries in a moment of distraught heartache and when Vision destroyed the last Ultron Sentry.
But it wasn’t until Captain America: Civil War, where we learned that Wanda could control the Mind Stone powering Vision and Vision could easily severely injure another hero and then in Infinity War when either Vision created a human guise for himself or maybe Wanda did, while Wanda not only made short work of Thanos’ army but could also destroy the Mind Stone and, in Endgame take on and possibly defeat Thanos single-handed, that we got a true display of her powers.
Tumblr media
MCU creatives have stated that Scarlet Witch is in fact the most powerful MCU hero after it was originally stated Captain Marvel was, so when Wanda finally upgrades and realises her true potential this should be fully realised making Scarlet Witch the most powerful MCU character.
WandaVision and MCU Future:
Here’s what we know about WandaVision:
Tumblr media
Wanda finds herself in a sitcom television universe potentially of her own making after not only losing Vision, but not forgetting also Wanda has lost her family including her twin brother as well as friends and teammates Black Widow, Captain America and even Iron Man.
For someone who was late-teens early-twenties at the time of Age of Ultron, this makes her late-20s early-30s by the time of this series, my age, and so obviously all of this loss and grief will play havoc on one’s mind let alone everything else she has gone through.
Also Vision is back but I still don’t know to what extent that is, is he only back in this alternate sitcom reality or has Wanda willed him back into existence in the same way that she willed their twin sons into reality in the comics.
Speaking of which, we know the couple have twins in the series as when they’re in their 80s sitcom setting, we see two bassinettes and it’s hinted we will see them as teenagers.
It has to be Wiccan and Speed, it can’t not be. This would be a massive red mark on WandaVision’s scorecard if it isn’t. I have recently heard rumours they could be human-android hybrids to match the parents and someone even suggesting Viv could be one of the twins...but I can’t fathom why if the Young Avengers are coming into play with the confirmation of Kate Bishop, America Chavez and Stature, why these two core characters wouldn’t be at play.
Tumblr media
The other hotly anticipated character introduction is Kathryn Hahn as Agnes...again if this isn’t Agatha Harkness then it is major tease. Agnes is surely an alias for Agatha Harkness who in the comics and even X-Men: Evolution was Scarlet Witch’s mentor for controlling her powers.
The only difference between the two incarnations is in every other version of the character Agatha is an old woman whereas Kathryn Hahn looks like Kathryn Hahn. It will also be great to see Agatha Harkness in a comedic setting as Kathryn Hahn is hilarious.
Tumblr media
We also have returning MCU characters Jimmy Woo, Monica Rambeau and Darcy Lewis added to the series. All three may not be connected or they all could be working for SWORD which is the successor to SHIELD first seen in the post-credits scene for Spider-Man: Far From Home.
I’m thrilled to have Kat Dennings back in the MCU and considering both she and Randall Park have a history in comedy, the sitcom settings should suit them well.
I’m not sure why any of these characters are connected to Scarlet Witch or Vision considering all three are connected to separate heroes Ant-Man, Captain Marvel and Thor respectively, but any excuse to bring them back I’ll take it.
What is also more or less confirmed is the ending of WandaVision will see a massive witch fight between Wanda and Agnes resulting in Wanda tearing a hole in the multiverse starting the Multiverse arc in the MCU which will be picked up in Spider-Man 3 and resolved in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness with Wanda set to appear in both movies.
Tumblr media
As for Vision’s fate post WandaVision, it is currently unknown where he will appear next if at all, and it may actually depend on the success of the series, but we know that Wiccan and Speed will become part of the Young Avengers so they’re staying on.
It is also worth noting that in the Young Avengers, a second version of Vision known as Jonas was a member of the team created through Nathaniel Richard’s neurokinetic armor gaining sentience after having Vision’s operating system downloaded into it.
Tumblr media
Nathaniel Richards is a distant relative to Reed Richards aka Mister Fantastic who is set to appear in the upcoming Fantastic 4 movie, but is also a time remnant of Kang the Conqueror who is set to appear in the upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantummania and may be alluded to in the upcoming Disney+ series Loki.
Nathaniel is also Iron Lad, who forms the Young Avengers as part of the Avengers Fail-Safe program. Do you see how this all ties together?
So basically even if we don’t see this Vision again after WandaVision, we may see Jonas in the Young Avengers.
As for the future for Scarlet Witch post-multiverse, if they are bringing in Wiccan and Speed, I really want the next big arc to be the Children’s Crusade. I know fans want House of M...WandaVision is possibly as close to House of M as we’re going to get.
Tumblr media
Children’s Crusade is how Wiccan and Speed learn about and are reunited with their estranged mother who has lost her memories and is living in wedded bliss with Doctor Doom...who could easily be introduced in said Fantastic 4 movie.
Conclusion:
Tumblr media
Whatever the future holds for Scarlet Witch and Vision, no one can deny that this love story has not only been an organic one, but with it set to be the running theme for WandaVision, this love story is most definitely one for the ages.
So that’s my analysis of the newest superhero superpowered couple currently at play in the MCU, what do you guys think? Is WandaVision a couple for the ages? Will they have a place in the MCU after the upcoming Disney+ series?
Post your comments and check out more MCU Reviews as well as other posts and WandaVision starting this Friday (Jan 15).

Snowells Week 2021 Day 1: Bounty Hunter AU + Year One (Time Travel)
“Well, this is-”
“Weird?”
“I was gonna say unexpected but that works too.”
Both Harry and Caitlin looked down at the paperwork in front of them in complete and utter bafflement. They had seen many strange things in their time working for the Time Bureau, a man who could turn into poisonous gas at will, a parasitic alien plant that fed off the psychic energy of their victims, and even evil unicorns. What they didn’t expect to see in a million years were pictures of themselves.
“You are aware that the multiverse exists, yes? I believe that was one of the first things we discussed when I recruited you both for your services,” Rip said as he moved closer to the two.
“We’re well aware,” Harry scoffed as he looked at Rip, “But it’s one thing to know and another thing to actually see. Not to mention the fact that you always said that we weren’t allowed to interact with any of our doppelgangers.”
“Yes, well, desperate times call for desperate measures. Your doppelgangers have been increasingly harder to find and together seem to be impossible for any of my recruits to capture.”
“Why?”
“They have powers,” Caitlin finally piped up as she reviewed the paperwork carefully. “My doppelganger has ice powers that makes it next to impossible to touch her without getting hypothermia or worse and yours is a speedster who is technically... not a part of any timeline?”
“That is a long and... complicated story. His background information is all in there along with your doppelganger.” Rip explained quickly, “I’m sure you two will do a fantastic job with this last assignment just like you always do, what with all of your many... skills.”
“And?” Caitlin stared directly at Rip, her eyebrow raised.
“And what?”
“What aren’t you telling us Rip?”
“There’s nothing to tell that isn’t in that paperwork.” Rip said as he moved towards the exit, “Now if you’ll excuse me I really need to-”
“Go?” Harry glared at Rip. Somehow he had gotten in front of the door before Rip. He hadn’t even heard Harry get up from his chair. Harry could be very silent and fast when he wanted to be. In fact, it was one of the many assets he had that made him so effective at his work. At this moment however, Rip couldn’t help but be intimidated by its effectiveness.
“Harry,” Caitlin softly said, causing him to look her way. He still looked tense but his expression had softened ever so slightly as he looked at her, waiting for what she would say next.
“Be nice. Please.”
Harry took a deep breath then looked back at Rip. He had come to respect Rip over the years as they worked together but he also hated when the bureau kept secrets from them that would have been beneficial to know ahead of time. So many close calls, so many times he thought he lost his partner forever. But she was right. Being antagonistic right now wouldn’t get them the answers they wanted.
“This is our last mission Rip, the least you could do is answer her,” he said as he moved to sit back in his chair.
“Well, ahem,” Rip began as he wiped a bit of sweat from his brow, “The reason the bureau never wanted you two to ever interact with any of your respective doppelgangers is that doppelgangers can inadvertently affect the actions of their counterparts and vice versa and-”
“We’re very aware of the why Rip, get to the point.”
“Well, your counterparts can be... brutal and destructive and volatile- They are ruthless at what they do...”
“But?” Caitlin asked, leaning in closer as Rip tampered off.
“But they aren’t- They are actually quite... affectionate... with each other. They’re... together. Romantically. I’m sorry I just- I didn’t want this information to affect how well you would do on this mission.”
“But you were banking on our doppelgangers being thrown off if they saw us, right?” Harry stated rather than asked, not looking too pleased about this almost secret.
“...Yes. Again I am truly sorry but-”
“It’s fine Rip,” Caitlin said as she got up from her chair, the paperwork clutched to her chest, “Knowing this is actually a good thing. We can use it to our advantage. I’ll go get our ship ready.”
“Snow-”
“We’re our own people, Harry.” Caitlin tensely began, “They’re murderous time traveling metahumans and we’re time traveling bounty hunters that are this close to retiring.”
“But-”
“Harry.”
To most people, it would look like Caitlin had everything together. She was confident and strong in more than one way but Harry could see it. The slight tremor in her breathing, her hand clutching the paperwork even tighter than before.
He knew when he announced his retirement that she had taken it hard but he had hoped she would bounce back like she always had when bad news struck. What he wasn’t counting on was her also wanting to retire. He had tried to talk to her about it but she always seemed to find ways to get out of the conversation.
It’s not like it would be the end of their friendship, right? He could still go see her if she wanted. Did she want him to? He hoped so. A day without her was hard to imagine.
“The sooner we get this mission done, the sooner you can leave. Just like you want.”
Harry would be lying if he said that that didn’t sting. Luckily for him no one was asking and even luckier, no one would know.
“Okay, S- Caitlin. But only if you’re really okay with it.”
“I am,” she whispered with a small smile. She turned away quickly and made her way out of the room as fast as possible. Harry stayed behind as she walked, most likely gathering any intel they would need for recent sightings of their counterparts. Good. At the very least she could fix herself up before anybody noticed the tears in her eyes.
Time traveling bounty hunters, Caitlin Snow and Harrison Wells, are the best at what they do and after years of finding and capturing fugitives for the Time Bureau they want to retire and part ways. Unfortunately for Harry and Caitlin, the Time Bureau has one last assignment for them: bring them the Reverse Flash and Killer Frost, who are both of their respective doppelgangers. It’s a race against the clock as the criminal duo cause major time aberrations and verge onto making a time quake. As Harry and Caitlin try to take down their counterparts it becomes harder and harder to deny how much they’ll miss each other and even harder to deny that maybe they’re not so different from their doppelgangers, at least when it comes to what they would do for the people that they love.

okay so i did a breakdown and prediction for WandaVision before the show started and It's Turning Out To Be True, Guys, so I'm posting it below and just tell me if it's okayish or not-
Now, WandaVision marks the beginning of Phase 4 of the MCU, and it is in itself a pathmaking event because it shows normal life without the original Avengers. Now, the show explores Wanda's mental state after Vision's death in Infinity War, and how she uses her Chaos magic to create a 'pocket reality' where things are just what she wants them to be.
The entire series is set over 6 decades, and has a running theme of couples living in sit-coms throughout the years, the late 50s, the 60s, the 70s, the 80s, the 90s, the 2000s and present. Now, my theory is that WandaVision is the beginning of a Multiverse Act that continues in Spiderman - 3 and culminates in Doctor Strange in The Multiverse of Madness.
Now, as for the shots within the trailer, it seems that Wanda and Vision are changing their localities as time passes, and that is through the decades I mentioned above. Now, all the posters have this unique red-blue television static rip in the upper left corner, which is also the transition effect used by the editors whenever Wanda warps reality and tries to adapt to the passing, and this actually represents Wanda's warped reality fading away and opening up a multiverse. In the late 50s poster, there isn't much that suggests anything, just we know that this involves the b/w part of the show where Wanda and Vision are a newly married couple and Vision as a human, which is strange, because in all trailers/posters after that time, Vision is shown as the Android he is, from the 60s black and white where Wanda acts as Vision's assistant in the magic show, and now, the next transition is the most interesting for me because they shift into the era of coloured television and during this warp, Wanda becomes pregnant and slips into the stripes of the 70s - another fact is that the upper left rip is not normal, not it is a wood panel torn apart, like by a demon, which leads me to the obvious villainous entity for the show, Mephisto.
This marks Wanda's descent into confusion as to who is in control of this warped reality, because it may not be Wanda, it may be some evil entity who is using Wanda to get into MCU's Earth-199999 and is proved later when Jimmy Woo's voice is heard out of the radio saying "who is doing this to you?". Now, the 80s poster has a ton of references in the 2 paintings it has, one being a hybrid phoenix chicken, aka representing Vision, who here is both a hybrid between human and metal, and like a Phoenix brought to life by Wanda's magic from the ash he was left in by Thanos, and the second bird is a wren from Australia with varying plumage which is like Wanda, because her magic clashes with life in the same way. The next 90s poster is the most indicative too as this is the time where they have the twins, Wiccan and Speed, but interestingly, there's a picture on their wall with three, yes, three not two eggs, which is another reference to the fact that snarky Mephisto has snuck up into this reality using Wanda's magic, also the TV still here is of them in their original Avengers' goofy hallowe'en costumes, and the last shot is a trailer and poster mix where Wanda races out into their frontyard but there are 2 small bikes parked, meaning that is the 2000s where they live as a family of four, but what Wanda doesn't realise that Mephisto's using this fake family to claw his way into this reality and wreak havoc.
Some other shots that stood out to me were of Monica Rambeau constantly transitioning from friendly neighbour to outright "I don't know who (I am)", then the character of Agnes who I suspect is none other than Agatha Harkness from the West Coast Avengers comics where Mephisto, yet again, played with Wanda's chaotic magic and in a way it also merges with the House of X comic series where Wanda yet again creates a pocket reality (I mean, what is up with all the reality stuff) - another interesting thing is the beekeeper seen in the second trailer, which I propose is a reference to the way in which we make honey commercially, wherein the queen bee is kept incharge of a beehive with her subordinates, and she thinks that she is in charge, but the actual person benefiting from this is the beekeeper looking from above the hive, collecting the honey, just like it is here where Wanda thinks she is the queen but in reality it is Mephisto the Beekeeper looking from above the pocket reality using Wanda's brand of Chaos magic to enter into this reality.Â
I believe that the base of this entire series by which it will continue into the wider MCUÂ is The Mind Stone, because it was The Stone that gave Wanda her powers and also to the two men she loved the most - Vision and her brother Pietro. Now, there is an amazing amount of screen time given to shots of the Mind Stone in the trailer, the most intriguing of which is a tired Wanda with greyish hair looking up at the Stone with slivers of blue around it - this is the incident where Wanda received her Enhanced powers from Stucker is Sokovia and this indicates that there will be some flashbacks to earlier memories which may involve Quicksilver returning. Now, the Mind Stone is the smart one, so it has a certain intelligence which it imparts to those affected by it, as is evident in Wanda's Chaos magic and tele-abilities, Tony Stark's vision of the Earth ravaged and the Avengers dead, and maybe even Thanos's curse of Titan's fate. Now, for sure, the mind stone has been destroyed but this does not mean it hasn't already affected given the Universe changes.
Now, back in 2015, Marvel wasn't allowed to use the term "mutants" but now with the Disney-Fox merger, yes they can introduce the idea of mutants with Wanda and Quicksilver as the first in Sokovia, and then Wanda's Chaos-Mephisto born mutant kids Wiccan and Speed which of course may tie to the New Mutants storyline. Also, my theory is that mutants are made by a combination of both their mutant gene and exposure to cosmic radiation, just like Wanda was exposed to the Mind Stone. Also, the mutant gene may exist in specific closeted spaces of the earth like Sokovia, or just for the sake of an example, in Chernobyl cause well the incident. Now these mutant genes become activated on exposure to radiation, and well we have had Four Omega Level Cosmic Infinity Snaps by Thanos, Thanos, Hulk and IronMan, and there is plenty of reason to suggest that this may have triggered the mutant abilities. That is my first theory.
The second one involves Wanda unleashing her chaos magic in an exponential wave at the end just like she did in Age Of Ultron, maybe because she realises that in reality, Vision is dead and manipulation won't help, and in grief she lets out her power that rips upon the Marvel Earth 199999 to the Multiverse which will continue later for Doctor Strange and SpiderMan to put back to normal. This mega event was teased in the trailers where the S.W.O.R.D. helicopter escapes from a wall of red television like static energy, and yes, I expect S.W.O.R.D. to be fully involved in the last part of the show headed by Jimmy Woo and Darcy cause Darcy has had encounters with otherworldly beings and thus may be consulted here. The last act will culminate in Wanda and Vision rising back up to their original title of the Avengers and fighting Mephisto to stop him, but something turns and thus Wanda/Mephisto releases that wall of Magic to wreak havoc.
Also a side note - Vision will also play the act of a realist in the show where he makes Wanda realise that this is not the real earth and he realises that the Eastside/Westside area they live in as well as the people there are unusual, not real, but at the end comes to his usual humane proposition that they save them and the reality from the demon trying to wreak havoc.
TL;DR Wanda creates a pocket reality where she lives with Vision, maybe reincarnating him using her brand of magic in the grey android left after Infinity War, and as the decades pass by, their reality deteriorates due to the Satanic entity that is Mephisto, making his curses seem like blessings, but at the end Wanda and Vision try and stop this reality shredding with S.W.O.R.D and that leaves us with an indecisive future of the mutants, Vision's reincarnation(like said by Banner in Infinity War)/Vision's death and the coming of the Multiverse into focus.
That's it, I guess.
