so let me go over it and weigh the options against eachother here and see if i can really come to a conclusion.

chaos is the essence of this comic honestly. at least in a meta sense. i am going about this in a very chaotic way.

like sometimes i come up with stuff that fits In Between existing story bits so honestly a perfectly linear order seems kind of futile at the moment??

the story was an accident to begin with - once i identified it, i started building upon it and fleshing it out more. but overall this is very freestyled!!

okay tbh i already answered my own question here.

also don't worry - at some point, i WILL still do a linear order run! and maybe then another, the next year, with any additional bits added in... there will be specific tags for this also. you will be able to view them chronologically, in a normal linear story order.

but for now, the sketchbook order run is doing pretty alright.

the linear runs will be tagged with "linear story [year]" so don't worry about it <3

Maybe it's because I love colors, but I love how colorful these subtitles in 1,000 Years Old are because, apparently, in Thai, Somchai was saying Pun was getting so upset that he was turning red, but the subtitles picked this phrase:

I like how the entire scene plays into what Somchai is actually saying - Pun IS a vampire, and if Yoh isn't careful, Pun will be out for blood. Somchai proved that Pun can't control himself, and once he starts, he can't stop.

And all while the boys were in their pink and purple (💕love💕). I noticed that supporting image for your argument, @avorbl

Been thinking about this at work, but I think we should collectively do Dracula Daily. It's one of the most fun ways I have interacted with classic literature and I think y'all would like it, AND I think it would be interesting if more people knew the book because there are quite some references to Dracula/Vampires in ST and I want other people's opinions!

Brief explanation for those who may not have heard of Dracula Daily before: It's essentially an email newsletter that piece by piece sends you the entirity of Bram Stoker's Dracula over the course of six months. You can really easily do that because Dracula is epistolary and comprised of letters, diary entries, newspaper articles etc, which are all dated -- so you know exactly when what part of the book is taking place. Which in turn means you can read the novel "in real-time" as it unfolds day by day. And also it means you only read a little bit most days and still have read an entire book by the end of it!

I did it last year when it kind of blew up on Tumblr and it's a great time. It's basically a tumblr wide book club and a bunch of people came in and shared their historical knowledge and put things into context, plus the memes were exquisite. Very much my favorite time rereading Dracula of the many times I have read this novel by now, so I can only recommend it!

And I know that’s not necessarily true but god it definitely feels this way.. can’t praise Lestat on Twitter without getting called a white supremacist, and I can’t go three minutes on Tumblr without seeing someone downplay Louis’s trauma… it’s sad for me!

New idea HIGH STEAKS.

A band made up of risk taking stoner vampire hunters. I will be taking no criticism, and I will be making them both minor antagonists/kinda allies of my vampire oc. I will also be making the human love interest and witch, Beatrice, one of their members.

I like dumb puns, I will let them shape my worldbuilding.
