Price being ready to murder Riley was NOT what I was expecting but I'm here for it. Are we allowed to ask for hcs for this au? Because honestly im curious what Riley thinks of Price and such.
- Kidney Anon (who is wearing their nametag with pride)
Not expecting Price to want to kill Riley? You must be new here lmao
Me and Az-
Omegas are very much dominant in this universe
Az-
(about Price) at first he's like meh, another alpha but quickly doesn't like his attitude to Tav
Tav loves how Riley is protective but also so bemused at someone being protective over him
The moment Riley realised he had a real chance with Tav he started a whole 10 year plan
(how they get together) So shit goes real south on a mission, Tav's injured and the meds and stress and timing all fuck up his hormones/suppressents. So its just them and they need to get it under control, etc, becoming fwb. Riley's like "chance!" and Tav is happy to have a decent alpha around who doesn't make his teeth ache
Me-
Riley goes into rut and starts begging for Tav. Tav sees it him but it's actually something deeper so that's how they get together
Also Price helped with his heat a few times (before MW2) so he thinks he's entitled to something more with Tav
Also with them being made Price can't take advantage of Tav so it prevents everything that goes wrong (essay on what I mean)
Az-
Riley going on leave for rut only to have his neighbour call up Tav because "your alpha won't shut up, come and deal with him!" It works tho since Tav expected Riley to find another omega
(more will come)
Price staring to say dismissive things about his chosen alpha, ignoring their mating bond to suggest he could be better. Imagining he says this infront of other 141 who all share a look and slowly start backing away
Me-
Roach is their son in this universe
Also all the 141 alpha's/Beta's sniff after MacTavish like he's the holy Grail
Price trys so hard to separate them and he's doing double time and trying to convince Tav to drop Riley. Price is convinced that if Riley dies the bond will break.. and normally it would but maybe there's something deeper tying them together
(Az) alternatively, he steps a little to out of line at some point, like just before they're about to set out on that mission, and Tav just snaps. is he hormonal and preggers? maybe.
It's all going fine until MacTavish just freezes and just start screaming at him. He has been putting up with his BS for far too long. He drags him through the mud. Pulls out every insecurity Price didn't even know he had. Gloats that he'll never be with Price that he needs to get over it. He wasn't a good alpha no matter how much he thought he was
Az-
"I've ripped out the throats of alpha Generals who were more useful than you are."
"You couldn't get me to bend as a rookie SGT without pushing me down, I voluntarily go to my knees for Simon"
"You don't want me, you don't want a strong omega, you want someone you can dominate. You want me because having me come to heal for you would be the biggest ego stroke there is."
Tav leaning in to whisper into a shocked Price's ear: "he prefers getting on his knees for me"
(me) And you don't know him. You don't know what an honor it is to have that alpha to trust you with his life. I've killed alphas for less then what you are insinuating now. But that alpha he has never wanted anything more than I would give him. And he thinks me for every scrap I throw him
Price looking around expecting some support from all the alphas standing around gawking except they're all basically enthralled with Tav
Roach shipped it from the start now he's doing everything he can to ensure he gets those sibling in year 6 of the plan
I also like the idea of Tav either ripping his throat out or like shooting/stabbing his arm and basically forcing his retirement
(preg Tav) they only find out a while after the fallout tho, when Shepherd tries some shit and he does rip his throat out, its not heat related and he didn't attack tav or riley so they have to investigate. A pregnant omega killing an alpha is pretty much the same
Me
Tav also 100% gets even more mean when he's pregnant. It's like a switch flipped man is outright hostile and Riley loves every minute of it
People confuse Riley for the pregnant Omega because of just how much he smells of Tav and it makes Tav irrationally happy.
Tavs mentality while pregnant is, 'If I can't be more pregnant I'll make him pregnant' so the sex is wild
Az-
riley, shocked, sitting at the table: "...."
soldier: "aren't u gonna celebrate? bout time honestly, thought with the way u 2 got at it the cap would've been bred long ago"
riley: "if it were that easy, i'd be the one pregnant"
soldier: "...."

Hi anon!
I'm not gonna post your ask for obvious reasons, but here goes what you asked me. An explanation of why I feel Jk has not been dismissive of Tae.
To me this is a fandom thing and not something that exists in reality. It's basically the opposite of shipping, but it's not by definition more real. But I think at the bottom of it lies an urge to find something that 'excites' people. Shiping can do that, but finding animosity between members can also do that. Both things keep people engaged and 'searching' for some sort of proof. It's not a thing that's specific to Tkk or BTS, it happens in more fandoms... just like shipping does. The referall to being more rational is an odd one, because we are all dealing with the same amount of information here. To me seeing a continuous dislike from Jk towards Tae is the least rational one, since there's so much that actually goes against that. Why would Jk choose to spend as much time with Tae as he did if he didn't really want to? We haven't seen him spend that much time with any other member, does that mean that he likes them even less? Or do we take the 'it's all fanservice' route? But wouldn't that mean we have to consider that to be true for any members interaction? People don't call Yoongi/Jimin fanservice this way, or Jimin/Hobi, or Namjoon/Jk. So what makes Tae and Jk interacting different? It's only the Tkk of it all that's different... and that mostly boils down to people feeling all sorts of awkward/uncomfortable for whatever reason they have (and those can be several, not just the homophobia..).
People riding the "Jk doesn't like Tae" train have picked some moments they feel were odd and keep their focus on those moments while mostly passing by the many moments where Tae and Jk are obviously fine. This too is very much the same as some shippers like to focus on only a few moments that fit in the way they see their ship. It's how some Jkkrs send me clips like that of a few days ago that doesn't actually show Jm being hurt by Tkk Tkking.. it's not there and yet they absolutely believe that it is. Admitting that you are wrong is a hard thing to do for some... so instead of that people will often just choose to double down.
I don't really care whether people believe in Tae and Jk as a couple or not. None of us actually know anything and in the end it all comes up to how you interpret what you see. But what I do feel a bit touchy about is when I see people talk about them disliking each other, or that vulnarable Tae is the victim of bad guy Jk. A friendship is spotted much more easy than a hidden relationship, so I can understand not seeing the relationship part... but I don't understand not seeing the friendship part. People don't even seem to differentiate between Jk not liking the shipping and Jk not liking Tae, while to him those things would absolutely be different in any case.
People are super selective. Those who say Jk doesn't like Tae only focus on those few moments they feel are odd. They flip past Tae and Jk at the Dream premiere, using Jk's live afterwards as an example of him being down after having spent time with Tae... when the real reason for him having been down is probably way more likely to do with something aside from Tae. People hatch onto Jk doing a live on Jm's face and not for Tae as him not caring for Tae, when Jk's own scedule was completely different at both times. People say Jk went to do a live after Inkigayo to set certain narratives about Tae being there straight, when it is quite obvious that he went live to fill time while his laundry was going (as if that is not a very Jk thing to do) and he only talked about Tae there when asked about him. It's always stuff like this... people take a tiny bit of something that happened and go wild about it.
When you look at the entirety of Jk and Tae's interactions all throughout last year and als before that.. you see two people who enjoy spending time together. They look at each other with kindness (and more if you ask me), they interact casually without boundaries they touch each other easily, they stay in each others space for a prolonged time with ease, they talk about each other with kindness, they choose to spend time together outside of business. Like.. their friendship isn't hidden.. it's a very obvious one even.

what do you think about when people say that jungkook never reciprocates and/or looks annoyed by taehyung in company content and lives and such? honestly I like taekook but sometimes I do see jk being dismissive towards tae and sometimes even contradiciting his words making him seem like a liar and I know they see most of the stuff that happens online so does he not think about how that makes tae look? idk, I'm not a jk hater btw, I don't think he's obligated to do anything if they aren't together, but if they are real then it's a bit iffy to me, again not a hater, just a bit preplexed
i'm also not looking for them to perform their relationship for fans, I just don't really understand the way they act sometimes, they're also gonna double down on jkk when they get out of the military for sure, so I don't really feel the need to be fighting ten toes down for them when they don't even want us to ship them and often act kind of constipated aroudn each other
So bored on a Sunday you had to bring this to a JK-biased Taekooker? Of course I don't agree with whatever "people" (it's you, isn't it?) have to say about Jungkook's behavior, since you're clearly an anti. I'm not ten toes down fighting for JK or Tae against people like you who only want to find something negative in everything they do. That'd be unwinnable for me, and I don't really care what you think. If you actually cared about them and weren't looking for them to perform their relationship for fans, you wouldn't be here sending me this bullshit. You are putting expectations on them and getting mad when they don't behave exactly the way you think they should. I am _actually_ not looking for them to perform their relationship for me or anyone else, ever. Whatever they want to share is a blessing. I understand they are at risk and under extreme pressure from all sides, that they're human beings, that I only see a tiny fraction of what goes on in their lives and that there's a lot I don't know about them. If they're in a relationship, we're actually not supposed to know about it. How would you go about your everyday business protecting what matters most to you while the world watches. Figure that out first, in detail, before you start nitpicking what you think is wrong about other people's behavior and making these kinds of assumptions. Or at least send it to someone else equally invested in dragging others down. 'kay?

Hello 👋🏽 so this might not sound like I’m complementing you but I am
When I first found your page I just thought you were a hater with no life.. I think I found you when season four aired and I saw you talking about the Iris situation and let me just say I think I hold the crown for the biggest Carlos hater during season 4, they made me hate him but everytime I would look at your page I would be like we get it so why are you talking about him this much then. I wasn’t really involved in the fandom or has obsessed in the show back then as I am now and I have come to absolutely love tk, and I have found my group of friends on Twitter who love him also. from the moment I came into this fandom it was blatantly obvious biased towards Rafa/carlos (I mean we all saw how fast they were to never talk about ronen again..)that I just didn’t understand, it’s like they foams at the mouth anytime they talk about Rafa/carlos
The Carlos Stan’s have gotten a lot worse imo and we need tk defenders more then ever
What I’m trying to say is I used to see you and go if you don’t like something why are you talking about it but I never said that to people saying the nice things about the characters which is unfair cause we shouldn’t push people who are rightfully calling out characters too the side and make them talk about it with just there friends, if people can say good things, other people can be critical and we need people like you more then ever. Thank you for constantly calling out Carlos cause the watered down “criticism” he gets is such bs
He was not the best boyfriend, definitely not the best fiancée and he’s not gonna be the best husband in the beginning and I’m so tired of these women who are old enough too realize what he does is wrong making excuses after excuses and babying him so much. I think tk deserves way better instead of a man who constantly lies and puts things/people above him then crawls back crying when the damage is done
So just thank you for not stopping with this account cause this fandom is truly delusional when it comes to Carlos and then that fuck ass spinoff they want to do? With his partner who he has “special chemistry” with…
Thank you! I know that I can be very annoying sometimes hahaha.
I’m so frustrated about how TK is often treated by the fandom and the writers. He was criticized for not being ready for a relationship with Carlos, even if he was recovering from a relapse after the boyfriend he proposed to said he was in love with another guy (and probably cheated on him). He was blamed for the breaking up with Carlos after Carlos triggered him by making a big decision that affected both of them without talking to him first, and no one (not the fandom, not the writers) recognized that his motives for the break up were valids. The amount of hate he got just because Cooper was his sponsor was horrifying.
Carlos hiding a marriage, being so dismissive of TK with the wife jokes, blaming TK for Iris disappearance and acting so hostile towards TK was objectively so much worse than any mistake that TK did in their relationship, but I saw feel people calling him out on his bulshit. People even found Iris interactions with TK funny. Everything was fine as long as their favorite could get alway with it. The double standards where very clear.
(It’s so sad how TK has such a kind heart and loves so big)
(Yet no one ever chooses him first)
(Owen with his job)
(Carlos with Iris)
When I saw the news about Carlos and his partner who he has “special chemistry” with was the nail in the coffin for me. Like, nope. I already know where this is going. People will ship Carlos with his partner (even if he turns out to be in a happy relationship) and compare him with TK, how he is so much better and supportive tham TK and Carlos definitely should be with him instead, especially during the probable Jonah arc.I'm not gonna put myself into that.

That popular Twitter account (Goj over) saying REST IN HELL SUKUNA getting a lot of support, while that same person wanted kenjaku to come back...what's with the double standards? Kenjaku hurt women and children in the most twisted way yet he deserves to live? At this point, just bring gojo AND Kenjaku and have Kenjaku kill gojo in the most awful possible, watch them change their tune
Sorry for the rant lol
Don't worry about ranting at all! I understand how you feel completely.
When I was first getting into the JJK fandom, it was mostly because of Sukuna edits. I liked his character from the very start, even though people were really quick to call Sukuna fans (especially the Sukuita shipping ones) delusional or toxic. And a lot of Gojo fans would overrun the comment sections, saying that Gojo is better than Sukuna in every way.
When I watched videos analyzing Sukuna's character, for example, a lot of the responses to the videos would be something along the lines of "Sukuna is straight-up pure evil and can't be seen as any other way." And after Gojo's death, so many people were showing Sukuna hate more than ever.
What I find bothering about this, though, isn't that most of the JJK fandom likes Gojo way more than any other character - what I truly dislike is how disrespectful and contradicting some of those Gojo fans can be. I have read so many posts made by them that insult Gege, mock Sukuna fans, and insist that the only way for JJK to "redeem" itself is for Gojo to come back.
While I try to have a healthy respect for everyone in a fandom, I don't like when certain fans go out of their way to be toxic, rude, or forceful with their opinions. Especially when they don't seem to have such a good grasp on a lot of the reasons why Gojo isn't that great - not morally and not as an overall character.
Fans often neglect that Gojo is mean to others, selfish, arrogant, self-righteous, disrespectful to all kinds of people, too immature at times, and willing to disregard the value of other people's lives, including his own students. He has put Yuuji and the others in danger so many times, without any real good reason why, and he shows off more than he does teach.
I don't mean to disrespect his character at all, but these are his actual canon traits. Even if the fans like to headcanon him differently (which I respect) they can't use those arguments when comparing him to Sukuna, who they always characterize as selfish, arrogant, disrespectful, and dismissive of the value of other people's lives.... sound familiar?
Sukuna and Gojo share a lot of these negative traits in common. Both of them are obsessed with their own strength and so easily disvalue others for not beings as powerful. Yes, Sukuna is by far the most murderous and stereotypically evil of the two, and I would describe most of his actions as heartless and cruel, but Gojo's own bad traits can't simply be dismissed just because those fans like him better and because he's fighting on the side of "good."
He's been described as an antihero for a reason, and that's because he's self-absorbed and doesn't really care for anyone but himself. He wants to take down the higher-ups of the Jujutsu world, but doesn't really acknowledge how he himself being born to such intense power is also a curse of that system. He is part of the problem, both with his actions and ideals, and fans don't want to acknowledge it.
I think they're scared that by admitting his faults he automatically becomes a character you have no right to like anymore, just like how Sukuna antis say because of Sukuna's evil actions he doesn't deserve to be empathized with or liked. This inaccurate line of thinking comes mostly from the large anti culture that's been taking over tumblr and pretty much everywhere else now.
I would also like to point out that so many fans are really angry about Gojo dying, but his death actually makes sense in the story and he himself looked quite at peace with it. Bringing him back doesn't really make any sense.
I like Gojo. Even if I don't find his character unique, I still think he serves a purpose in the story and I like what Gege has done with him. Him losing to Sukuna was meant to happen. For me, the end battle should be between Sukuna and Yuuji, because Yuuji alone has the strongest connection with the King of Curses and this whole story started with him swallowing that cursed finger. Gojo really shouldn't have anything to do with this.
But these are just my thoughts. People are more than free to disagree with me, that's what being in a fandom means, but they should show respect about this and not act so overwhelmingly toxic to others who think differently. That's my only problem with them.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me!

Dear Vampire knight community
I think the weirdest thing is that none of you have considering a what if timeline at all where kaname lived. just imagine if kaname had lived, yuki was still with him and raising their daughter Ai.
Zero is still the hunter. We can assume he has some closure at least about him still having feelings for yuki but how he acts can really depend on where you lean for him. I’m just sayig he basically didn’t have him memory back til he mentally forced them back...and yuki wasthe one who stole those memories of his. He’d still have a right to be pissed.
so guys...what if yuki and kaname raise their daughter...but then that daughter ends up falling for the mysterious hunter leader Zero?
I’m going to assume Zero wouldn’t actively try to be around them that often and there would probably still be some weird tention still...but there wold be a interesting parallel with Zero seemingly echo’s kain cross. only WE know kaname knows yuki does loves zero and that kaname does deep down hardcore ships it(kaname is a zeki shipper confirmed already) despite himself but his plan to kill himself was thwarted.
Can anyone just IMAGINE the odd drama if yuki and kaname’s daughter ended up falling for Zero like in memories in this hypothetical timeline? if she had to try to discover and piece together that weird dynamic with minimum clues?
Kaname is literally responsible hardcore for the death’s of zero’s family members and tried to use him as a pawn to protect yuki while also trying to dismiss zerio’s importance because kaname sensed his importance. and we knwo yuki DOES love zero but that everytime kaname tried to get her to act on it she doubled down on kaname out of stubborness due to love but also a sense she owes him and wants kaname to not suffer. She literally brainwashed zero so she would have less temptation by erasing his memories where we saw kaname kept trying to goad out those memories.
and zero IS a good guy to kids...can you imagine you just slowly getting to meet zero at different points in her life and eventaully falling for him..just IMAGINE Kuran’s FACE. can you imagine YUKI’S FACE?
I’m just saying...unlike in vamplire knight memories where it was clear zero and yuki were a couple even before they were officially dating... where the only opening that lead to Ai’s feelings blooming to romance was the lack of full concrete clarity to put Zero in the dad zone.
In this scenerio, no matter about feelings and options not explored....Ai would have every right to choose to not put her mom’s feelings into account as Yuki had chosen to back off zero even if she loved him.
Just IMAGINE Ai getting a crush but not symapthizing at all with her parents.
the jealousy and possessiveness on Yuki’s end even though she has no right to meddle since she isn’t dating Zero. the worry for her daughter having a unrequited love. the fact Ai could be so open in her affections. god...and just IMAGINE the drama of Ai fining out all the bad stuff kaname did in regards to Zero and his family. her irritated on zero’s behalf because why would yuki chose kaname over zero? the tragedy that teen girls not being impressed by their dad, hitting kaname square in the face. Kaname’s mixed feelings of his daughter fallig for someone let alone zero who loved/loves yuki.
Thats not even getting into Ai’s looks working both for and against her from different angles in this scenerio.
and he hurdle that Zero was born with human sensabilities so gettng past those with the age difference even if with vampires aging can be odd.
I’m just saying....why aren’t their more people wanting to explore this what if in the Vampire knight community?
Though I’m preference is still Zero loves Yuki...but I’m just saying...the drama of the new generation finding out some of this messed up stuff in reverse after the fact would be really interesting...especially considering the manga’s tendency with certain patterns and forbidden or complicated love. heck the manga had even implied Zero had a uncanny resemblance to Kaname’s Lover in the furnace.
Zero resisting just making zero more worthy of that crush on him. Do I think she could win his heart romantically? probably no....but the drama alone to be explored! especially since it wouldn’t have the ghost of kaname which could be hard to beat but the complicated real one as a dad.
I’m just saying..I’ve read her other work...its not like its NOT up her alley.
just imagine Zero saving Ai from a kidnapping or level E vampire withhis grump self taking her to safty. ruffling her hair unlike kaname’s petting.

I sent you that message in good faith that you would be more understanding and it's a little disappointing to see you double down without acknowledging that you could (and are) holding flaws within this issue.
Also Turkey isn't MENA OR Arab ?? Not sure why you keep trying to say that they are and it's kinda weird that you keep trying to push an ethnicity on a group that doesnt identify with that.
Super weird of you to jump to the conclusion of people's ethnicities in order to try to deny that concern about transphobia. This is especially concerning given the fact that you and I both know that her characterization of France being like that exists outside of shipping, but you go on to post in a manipulative enough manner that this is being done solely for Turkfra. Which is why I brought it up in the first place. Also, she very clearly is just a fan of this dynamic (masculine man of any kind x france); see literally any of her other ships for reference.
Also, if you want to speak about Orientalism, why is it weird for her to portray Turkey as a decently well-built guy, but not when you twinkify him and make him an uwu soft boi?
Also, once again that wasn't hyper-masculinizing him. She just said he's fit and a bit scruffy, in a stylized manner. That's all. Also, your entire post negates to mention the fact that she describes both in equal manners and to be on equal grounds; they are very clearly given depth and personality beyond their looks. But you ignore this in preference for crying wolf? Honestly it's really funny how in the post you reference she even says "others have a tendency to dismiss their complexity" which is exactly what you're doing. You're essentially the one forcing him into this stereotype box that you're claiming to loathe by ignoring all other aspects of Turkey as a person besides his basic, barely even masculinized look and caricatureizing him in your head.
She also does tag things appropriately, I said her blog was mainly oriented toward adults, not the post itself (reading comprehension, PLEASE), which I know you knew because I know you followed her :). The point was don't complain about adults talking about finding characters hot if you shouldn't be there in the first place, especially if you're just gonna lie about it.
turkfra defenders explaining why shes totally not racist and actually im reading too much into it and im actually the fetishizer and this is the fetishizing countries fandom anyways:

Do you mind if I ask your top 10 favorite characters (can be male or female) from all of the media that you loved (can be anime/manga, books, movies or tv series)? And why do you love them? Sorry if you've answered this question before.....Thanks....
Oh god, from ANY MEDIA EVER?! That's a lot! 28+ years worth of #Content to remember... I'm just gonna be totally random about it I think and this is not an actual ranking!!! Just who first springs to mind. I'll also try not to double up on franchises.
1) Misty (Pokémon) - She was The Girl One and also Not Like Other Girls! I was five, okay?
2) Kyo Sohma (Fruits Basket) The boy who set me down the path of Monster Hugging and Furrydom. If you want details my entire blog exists lol
3) Sir Gwaine (BBC Merlin) Baby's first Dose of Heteronomativity! Plus he helped introduce me to amazing crack ships and made me laugh and broke my heart!
4) Jadzia Dax (Star Trek DS9) - She's just SO COOL! She's semi-immortal, is both an expert on gender and doesn't believe in it, is canonically queer, snarky AF, knows all about Klignons, is very pretty, and does THE SCIENCE!!! Plus she marries Worf and I mean goals.
5) Grog Strongjaw (Critical Role) - He is the definition of Positive Masculinity. An Aromantic King. My precious Baby Boy who could rip me in half if he wanted to but wouldn't. The man who makes me laugh and makes me cry. I miss him so much, I just want more Grog in my life when will he return from the war Matthew???
6) Uncle Newt (John Finnemore's Souvenir Program S9) - A Canonical Asexual Icon, breaking and healing my heart all at once, hell yes to historical queers and elder queers helping to raise baby queers and the found family trope and LOOK JUST LISTEN TO SERIES 9 OKAY?! (They don't use the WORD Asexual but that's because Newt wouldn't KNOW that word but everything about him and his character descriptions and his arc SCREAMS Asexual)
7) Kanade Miyako (Twinkle Stars) - Takaya-sensei made a character so relateable to me I just sat there and cried the whole time. The Academic burn out? The pressure to conform to expectations? Not knowing what to do with your life? Seeing the way she had the narrative treat him as a guide to myself to just take care and take things one step at a time? That it doesn't matter what others say, taking baby steps to heal yourself important and you shouldn't dismiss that. URGH. TAKAYA-SENSEI!!! WHY YOU DO THIS TO ME?!
8) Stephanie Brown (DC Comics) - Purple Clad Icon who tries her hardest and doesn't always succeed but DAMN IT if she isn't gonna crawl back on her feet again no matter what!!! Every single shitty thing a male writer can do to a female character has been done to her, and she's STILL STANDING!!! I will defend her to my last breath.
9) Mary Morstan (Sherlock Holmes) Very few adaptions ever do my girl justice and it's SO FRUSTRATING!!! But god I love her. I love how she's so strong not in a badass Hashtag No Fear way but in the way she is terrified and scared and still goes forward anyway! She's also snarky and loves to tease her husband (and his boyfriend) and I just wish more adaptations understood her! I think the best version of her I've seen is the Ritchie Verse version? More like that please!
10) Gilbert (Being Human) He was in it for one episode and is an absolute Icon. All those years and the only thing he had to do to find his door was to fall in love unironically? He just had to be honest with himself and his feelings. Also this:
Tumblr media
(I debated putting the Sarcastic Vicar here but decided upon Gilbert in the end 💜)

Nightmares
Please see the series Masterlist for more details! Although this can be read as a standalone.
Summary: Kallus' nightmares are still a problem :/
Word Count:
Relationships: Alexsandr Kallus/Garazeb "Zeb" Orrelios
Warnings: Nightmares. Sleeping medication.
Zeb returns from their mission exhausted. He’s wide awake when he sees Christine approaching the ship as the ramp lowers.
“Is Kal okay?” Zeb asks as he hastens to meet her halfway.
“Yes, but he won’t be if he doesn’t get some rest.” Christine says.
“He in intelligence?”
“Yup.”
“Okay, I’m on it, thanks.” He nods and heads off to fetch Kal.
-
“We talked about this.” Zeb says as they head back towards their bunk.
“I know,” Kallus sighs, he just can’t seem to sleep when Zeb isn’t with him. They’ve talked about it before but it’s not like they can stay together all the time. It’s just not a feasible thing. Zeb has asked Kallus to see one of the medics about it, but Kallus isn’t willing to go to such lengths for something as silly as nightmares.
“I really wish you’d at least talk to someone about them, it doesn't have to be me but someone.” Zeb says.
“I know,” Kallus repeats as they reach their door and he punches in the key code. Zeb sighs and moves to get ready to sleep. Kallus knows Zeb is probably exhausted himself from his mission and he wants them both to get some rest. He doesn’t like having Zeb worry over him, which is a double edged sword with this issue. If he talks to Zeb, the lasat will be worried and if he doesn’t talk to someone, Zeb will be worried anyways. He just hasn’t decided what he wants to have Zeb worrying over.
“C’mon” Zeb says as he moves to help Kallus remove his jacket and boots. Kallus debates with himself internally as to whether or not he should say something. The internal debate lasts long enough that by the time he comes anywhere close to a decision, he’s already cuddled up to Zeb and they're both falling asleep.
-
“Kal.” Zeb says as he sits on the edge of the bed and runs his fingers through the human’s hair. He moves his hand back as he watches Kal jump up to sitting.
“You’re back.” Kal says as he settles at the sight of Zeb.
“I’m back, you wanna talk about it?” Zeb asks as he does every time. He’s expecting the usual dismissal and reassurance that Kal’s okay, but that’s not what happens.
"It's Lasan but you're there now and I- I-" Kal says and cuts himself off as he starts to choke up. Zeb can understand where it's going and just pulls Kal to him, letting the human's tears soak into his shoulder. Alex falls asleep like that and Zeb adjusts them to lay down in the bed. Dozing off himself as he lets Alex get some well deserved rest.
-
“I’m proud of you, you know.” Zeb says the next morning as they’re getting ready to head out to their respective shifts.
“What.” Kallus says, confused.
“For talking, even just a little.” Zeb explains.
“Oh.” Kallus doesn’t know what to say, he barely even finished a sentence before breaking down. It’s something he’s almost positive he will overthink later, he’s already preparing to talk himself out of whatever spiral he goes into after that ‘show of weakness’.
“I love you.” Zeb says as he moves over to rub his cheek against Kallus’.
“I love you too.” Kallus replies as he moves to pull Zeb’s mouth to his own after the lasat finishes scenting him.
-
Kallus feels horrible for not being able to sleep alone without being plagued by nightmares. Made worse when Zeb starts to ensure he's with Kallus for sleep as often as possible. It gets a little better when they find out that leaving something covered in Zeb’s scent for Kallus to sleep with helps keep the nightmares at bay, so it’s easier to convince Zeb to go on missions
He feels a bit like a child, unable to truly sleep alone and requiring a blanket or shirt that smells like Zeb to get a somewhat decent rest. He also hates to admit that it only helps somewhat and he seems to require Zeb's actual presence to be nightmare free. He hates that Zeb is observant enough to notice this as well.
It’s after the third time that Zeb rearranges something he was looking forward to for Kallus’ sleep that Kallus decides that maybe it’s time to talk to a medic. He can’t keep disrupting Zeb’s life like this.
He doesn't know why he's hiding the fact he's taking sleeping medication. He knows Zeb would support him trying to get sleep and getting help for it. But he just can't admit such a weakness out loud - it was already mortifying admitting to the medic he had trouble sleeping and the ordeal of them trying to get the medication to begin with. It's just that he feels selfish for taking rebellion resources for something so small and insignificant - not that the medic made him feel that way, the medic said quite the opposite and was glad Kallus was seeking help. A well rested rebel was better at surviving and helping then one dead on their feet.
And despite all this and knowing he should, he still can’t bring himself to tell Zeb.

There's a couple things happening firstly the girl was at the store handled the card and it looks like Trump framed her and he ordered these things and one of the charges to go through and get away with it and it's his wife's stuff and he's delivering it to himself as the girl's character to try and get her hurt and to hurt people and go after it and she's wise to it now and he's trying to move the stuff to this location and it's an indicator of what he's up to he's threat he's threatening artifacts and he's bringing them here and to his place and into ships here. And he wants to use it to threaten and to try and threaten other people to grab our son and eventually daughter and it's in black and white and it's in blaring letters and it's very obvious to us and other people who will get it and we're going to start taking his money and using his stuff and his cards and everything and yeah we mean Trump of course and the little **** is going to not go anywhere and he's so stupid he won't even care. And what a horrible person he is and this is going to double up on the credit card activity everybody is going to beat him to death and his people are doomed and she doesn't know what to do. She also doesn't know what to do about the case she dismissed it and this guy is coming up with another indictment and it's a separate one and you cannot be tried for the same crime twice but the case and the trial is not declared a mistrial and that might mean that your decision stands and that he can just be sentenced and let's say the trial is a mistrial it's just dismissed meaning it can be brought back up again and it's not really true but they'll have to prove themselves that hiring this attorney general or something to do it was wrong and there has to be more reasons than it was not a proper hiring because you don't have to be an attorney general to bring a case so they don't have any case at all and they're postponing. On air that's bad and our son can't catch a break and this guy is a steaming **** to him and we need him out of here and we have to work at the credit ca.... and we have to work at the credit card place and other people do too millions and millions of people would die because this person is an arrogant vegetable next door.

Duke Nukem Blockbuster
It's a terrible situation here it's hot he's uncomfortable as Bonnie hurts but today he might catch a break other people of ours are worried and we need to help them and they need to help us help them we had another breakage of the security bunkers around these stashes and cashes on the west coast of Africa. And it is 5 medium they're rather bigger than the others about 1/3 bigger and they are not shallow but they're not extremely deep he did have to start burrowing a couple weeks ago and he got there about an hour and a half ago and they're lowering now and they start hitting and they lower more and they hit more and a lot of their own people die but they go up wind and it's not too hard the wind is going to flow above the rain cloud and it will start to dissipate it and also the ship will be contaminated and they're getting close to being broken and when they pull the the routine on the 31st they also will pull their spaceships off is not true they don't have a fleet here right now but something will happen and it has to do with radioactive material and the fleet approaching. In other words they've seen it all over the place and they know there's a potential that those giant ones can open up if there's more erosion and not even that much already it's seeping in there through multiple small tunnels they're getting bigger every day if this big fleet comes nearby it will make huge ones and it will eat away at the at the shoreline where the power plant is in other locations like West Palm and those things are gonna get nailed and that's coming up on Saturday actually it'll start Friday and it will be a huge issue. So we're getting ready for huge fights down here this place is a mess these people are jerks they're screwed trying to mess with him on everything all the time and we have to fix a lot of stuff an.... and we have to fix a lot of stuff and you said it too I have so many points and they keep on dinging me and pretty soon I won't have the points I need and it's it's pretty much getting horrific already. We need to sit down and calculate what to do now. He will be getting funding but we need power here he's going to get probably several thousand dollars from what we shipped already and we didn't ship that much we have a lot to ship coming up probably next week we will be at automobiles and things like that and it's so much stuff it hurts and yeah we're at production levels of about 30% of the parts required to send out to repair vehicles and to build new ones and that's what he was told and I do believe that it is true they do go hand in hand it's not true. But we are getting our stuff together.
Duke Nukem Blockbuster
We did mean 30% of the entire automobile industry yes. And he says that's great that's good news and finally and we need those people who are working there every single one of them to get their people up get him off the couch and stop them from their psychic war with themselves sometimes it happens any of them that have any experience pushing a broom is fine and he wants people to meet somehow and discuss it today tonight and before 9:00 PM eastern time and that's how it is in the factory and we appreciate it so we're gonna send it out that you're requesting it and he wants you to talk about getting your friends and family into the factories and we need a lot of them opened and doesn't matter if they're here early they can do basic training and that's what we're saying now. And we have a lot of kit cars coming up one of them is going to be the coyote X 2 and Trump cannot support much of it and Chrysler and he can't support much of that either he cut his line down and he's in trouble we are hearing from the Iacocca Group and they want the factories up and running and they want the cars that we mentioned all of them and they want to have samples of them they still have power and we respect that and we do understand that John Remaillard does not want them to have anything but he has to allow some things to happen and it would be a way of doing business and he wants it pretty good and he saw the Pacifica in action off road with his goofy men in it and yeah they lots of times like to look like Billy Hicks when they do that type of racing and it is an odd scene we will tell you it's easier to withstand although he is a foul mouth and it's because of David so he will probably go to Armstrong so he will probably go to Armstrong Middle School and it gets placed down off of Japan underwater and the asinine crew goes there including Justin and it starts to rupture and they escape and the place looks like it's destroyed and our son is upset so hopefully some of it has been salvaged. Love to talk about Kenny Wong to throngs of people who have an IQ That is through the roof it would be fun
We do have some good news the Mac Proper said they have to start cutting checks and we didn't pressure them and they noticed it and it's not bad there's a lot of stuff but they have some scale and it makes sense because the percentage so far is not very big it's still a few 1000 dollars it's going to come from other sources and they want to do that to get their code going which is a big motivator so he wants to know about the 5000 Lamborghini. And they say we already talked about it OK and when we think it would be a very big seller and it would sell a lot of cars tons of them so we are going to try and figure out what they're gonna do.

White Sands Warm the Cold Sea
Star Wars, The Bad Batch Pirate!au (Hunter x Reader
Summary: the reader, betrothed to a disgusting Coruscanti Lord flees her home world and lands herself in a plethora of trouble, a ship of clones, and one pirate captain whose cold exterior needs much more than the tropical seaside sun.
Warnings: Swearing, takes place in time periods where women have dowery's and suchlike. The readers dad and bothered are asses.
Chapter one: The Sentencing
Fate, you had decided, fucked you over. Which in itself, was not only a very unladylike statement, but was also very ironic. But how fitting for a woman of your time, to want something her whole life only to be told she couldn’t have it by the most infuriating of men. For passion to be pushed into a corset and cinched into fake smiles and batting eyelashes.
Everyone has a value, never mind how little or much, everyone is worth something. And you are worth a great deal to me.
At the time you’d thought your fathers words were a statement of affection, love brought to light by goblets of rum only to settle in your lap as you tended to the fireplace and did your best to lead him into his bed, staggering every step of the way. It was now that you understood his words. The choice of word may have been valuable, but the more accurate synonym, dowry explained his true intentions.
Enter one Lord Volim Nython, a pretentious man with a mind that was far more shallow than his pockets and a reputation to match. What Lord Nython did not already possess, he bought. And what he was without currently, was a wife. He was a man with a personality inked in gunpowder and steel, crushing his enemies in the war that made his predecessors and your fathers fortunes.
A very fitting match. Oh how quaint, the wedding would be so grand, and the children, oh they will be beautiful. The distinct lack of sincerity infuriated you, older women with tea parties akin to that of toddlers and the gloved hands they rest on their chests as they shake their heads at the utmost ridiculous things. While the tautly curled hair stays perfectly in place, rage resided in you at an unfathomable height. But, it was not without its reins, and as its rider, you had to lead your rage onto a path that would result in your success.
You chose this night carefully, knowing that it was on the last of every month, when the money came in from gambling, debts and the crown, that your father quite literally liquified his earnings. You shiver in your nightgown, every fireplace in the house was still burning, and the oil lamps were flickering away, though the household was asleep save for yourself. The main doors shifted open as the intoxicated man made his way in. And you steady yourself before greeting him.
“A good night, I'll take it then?” You ask with a breath of a laugh, wrapping a shivering arm arm around his shoulders and leading him over to the plush sitting chairs by the fire. He waves you off when you offer him water and so you sit on your knees by his feet. Grasping his hands on your own. He regards you with a suspicious look.
“I… I wanted to ask you something.” You start carefully, eyeing his look. The rug is warm from the flame and the way it illuminates his face, you wonder how many times your mother sat with him like this, or how often he looked at her in such confusion.
“Well? Get on with it then.” He slurs leaning further back into the red velvet. Causing you to shift and bunch your nightgown.
“I wanted to ask if, if you thought, the lord...”
“Lord Nython.” He confirms, watching you jump as the fire crackles, your nerves electrified by what you mean to bring up next. And it gives away your intentions before you can ask them. After all, your father may know you better than you had originally thought.
“Do not tell me what I think you are about to do.” he warns tilting his head down so the orange light reflects the way he regards you through his brow.
“I think we could make a better match.” You try and appeal to his motivations. “I think we stand to make a better-”
“I’ve been given offers.” He interrupts, the liquor making him less angry and more level headed as you had intended it to. “No one will wed you for the price Lord Nython will.” He moves to stand, the conversation finished, but you are not, having given yourself a stern word of not settling until you are free from the man's clutches.
“There are richer men outside of Coruscant.” You say with more force than you had intended. The translucent fabric whooshing as you stand. Your father pauses at the helm of the stairs, like a Blurg righting itself after an unsuccessful charge, he is listening.
“Naboo royalty, even a low Alderanian Lord would double Nythons offer.” You take cautious steps forward, hoping that his underestimation of your intelligence works in your favor.
“Those men are oceans away, Nython will wed you tomorrow if the crown gave its blessing.” He counters, but it is not a dismissal.
“Consider this an investment then, the payoff would surely be worth it.” You press carefully, like a healer tending to an inflammation, you palpate the area with caution looking to avoid the most sensitive of the inflamed tissue. Your father huffs.
“Providing you could snag a suitable man.” Hope flickers within you, and it warms you more than the fire ever could, it makes you feel power, and control. And hope, like it does with most, makes you foolish.
“Love is a powerful motivator.”
His booming drunk laugh shakes you, fear flooding you as you realize your mistake. But you were so close! So tantalizingly close to being free from the wretched man.
“You think men marry for love?” You see him wipe away tears of laughter as he sways on the dark oak staircase of your home. “You my dear, are even more dull than I thought.” You shake with anger and anxiety.
“I want to be in love! Like you an-”
“Do not say you mother and I. Ha. You are truly delusional.” He interrupts, taunting you with drunken laughter. Your father never speaks of your mother, and when he did it was pushed aside in favor of something else. But alcohol has a way of loosening tongues.
“I… I-” you stammer, if there was one thing you remembered about your mother it was the love she shared with your father and the stories of growing up and falling into a love so pure with someone it made your heart ache for it.
“We were not in love, she despised me, and I her.” He spits from his place on the stairs. The height difference adds to how small you feel. How his pitiful stare shrinks you and sends chills into your bones.
“I do not under-“ He interrupts again:
“It was an act! Pretend! Meant to fool young girls into thinking they could have a life as such. And even in death she continues to lie to you!” You blink away tears and think, you try to think he is lying, that they were happy, she was happy, and that in his intoxication your father lies.
“She was adamant that we would be in love for you.” He sighs, and drops to the stairs to sit and lean on the railing. “That we would keep up pretences for your sake so that you would strive for such happiness.” With his words it is as if he is taking away the core memories of your mother.
“I will not marry that man.” You have to push the words out, but the meaning is clear enough.
“Yes.” Your father says ever so sternly. “You will.”
“I shall not!” You fight back, hating how your eyes cloud with tears and emotions bubble up. “He looks at me like one does cattle, I am nothing more than a trade deal to that man!” both parties know you are right, from the first meeting when he had stalked around you, looking up and down, tutting here, humming there. Not engaging in any conversation that you’d deem intellectual or interesting. You’d been disgusted then, and you are still disgusted now.
“Please!” Your father wipes drunken saliva from his chin, “Lord Nython is giving us so much gold for your hand in marriage you should be grateful, and a renowned war hero like himself. You will wed that man even if i have to drag you to the altar.” You’re stunned, and horrified, and your father leaves you weeping on the dark oak stairs, a mess for one of the maids to clean up before he wakes in the morning.

Doctor Who: Perfect 10? How Fandom Forgets the Dark Side of David Tennant’s Doctor
https://ift.tt/2URb21b
As recently as September 2020 David Tennant topped a Radio Times poll of favourite Doctors. He beat Tom Baker in a 2006 Doctor Who Magazine poll, and was voted the best TV character of the 21st Century by the readers of Digital Spy. He was the Doctor during one of Doctor Who‘s critical and commercial peaks, bringing in consistently high ratings and a Christmas day audience of 13.31 million for ‘Voyage of the Damned’, and 12.27 million for his final episode, ‘The End of Time – Part Two’. He is the only other Doctor who challenges Tom Baker in terms of associated iconography, even being part of the Christmas idents on BBC One as his final episodes were broadcast. Put simply, the Tenth Doctor is ‘My Doctor’ for a huge swathe of people and David Tennant in a brown coat will be the image they think of when Doctor Who is mentioned.
In articles to accompany these fan polls, Tennant’s Doctor is described as ‘amiable’ in contrast to his predecessor Christopher Eccleston’s dark take on the character. Ten is ‘down-to-earth’, ‘romantic’, ‘sweeter’, ‘more light-hearted’ and the Doctor you’d most want to invite you on board the TARDIS. That’s interesting in some respects, because the Tenth Doctor is very much a Jekyll and Hyde character. He’s handsome, he’s charismatic, and travelling with him can be addictively fun, but he is also casually cruel, harshly dismissive, and lacking in self-awareness. His ego wants feeding, and once fed, can have destructive results.
That tension in the character isn’t due to bad writing or acting. Quite the contrary. Most Doctors have an element of unpleasantness to their behaviour. Ever since the First Doctor kidnapped Ian and Barbara, the character has been moving away from the entitled snob we met him as, but can never escape it completely.
Six and Twelve were both written to be especially abrasive, then soften as time went on (with Colin Baker having to do this through Big Finish audio plays rather than on telly). A significant difference between Twelve and Ten, though, is that Twelve questions himself more. Ten, to the very end, seems to believe his own hype.
The Tenth Doctor’s duality is apparent from his first full appearance in 2005’s ‘The Christmas Invasion’. Having quoted The Lion King and fearlessly ambled through the Sycorax ship in a dressing gown, he seems the picture of bonhomie, that lighter and amiable character shining through. Then he kills their leader. True, it was in self-defence, but it was lethal force that may not have been necessary. Then he immediately topples the British Prime Minister for a not dissimilar act of aggression. Immediately we see the Tenth Doctor’s potential for violence and moral grey areas. He’s still the same man who considered braining someone with a rock in ‘An Unearthly Child’.
Teamed with Rose Tyler, a companion of similar status to Tennant’s Doctor, they blazed their way through time and space with a level of confidence that bordered on entitlement, and a love that manifested itself negatively on the people surrounding them. The most obvious example in Series 2 is ‘Tooth and Claw’, where Russell T. Davies has them react to horror and carnage in the manner of excited tourists who’ve just seen a celebrity. This aloof detachment results in Queen Victoria establishing the Torchwood institute that will eventually split them apart. We see their blinkers on again in ‘Rise of the Cybermen’, when they take Mickey for granted. Rose and the Doctor skip along the dividing line between romance and hubris.
Then, in a Christmassy romp where the Doctor is grieving the loss of Rose, he commits genocide and Donna Noble sucker punches him with ‘I think you need somebody to stop you’. Well-meaning as this statement is, the Doctor treats it as a reason to reduce his next companion to a function rather than a person. Martha Jones is there to stop the Doctor, as far as he’s concerned. She’s a rebound companion. Martha is in love with him, and though he respects her, she’s also something of a prop.
This is the series in which the Doctor becomes human in order to escape the Family of Blood (adapted from a book in which he becomes human in order to understand his companion’s grief, not realising anyone is after him), and is culpable for all the death that follows in his wake. Martha puts up with a position as a servant and with regular racist abuse on her travels with this man, before finally realising at the end of the series that she needs to get out of the relationship. For a rebound companion, Martha withstands a hell of a lot, mostly caused by the Doctor’s failings.

Staged: BBC Comedy Confirms Sheen & Tennant’s Double-Act Greatness
By Louisa Mellor
Series 4 develops the Doctor further, putting the Tenth’s Doctor’s flaws in the foreground more clearly. Donna is now travelling with him, and simply calls him out on his behaviour more than Rose or Martha did. Nonetheless the Doctor ploughs on, and in ‘Midnight’ we see him reduced to desperate and ugly pleas about how clever he is when he’s put in a situation he can’t talk himself out of.
Rose has also become more Doctor-like while trapped in another reality, and brutally tells Donna that she’s going to have to die in order to return to the original timeline (just as the Doctor tells Donna she’s going to have to lose her memories of travelling with him in order to live her previous life, even as she clearly asks him not to – and how long did the Doctor know he would have to do this for? It’s not like he’s surprised when Donna starts glitching). Tied into this is the Doctor’s belief in his own legend. In ‘The Doctor’s Daughter’ he holds a gun to Cobb’s head, then withdraws it and asks that they start a society based on the morals of his actions. You know, like a well-adjusted person does.
What’s interesting here is that despite presenting himself as ‘a man who never would’, the Doctor is a man who absolutely would. We’ve seen him do it. Even the Tenth Doctor, so keen to live up to the absolute moral ideals he espouses, killed the Sycorax leader and the Krillitanes, drove the Cybermen to die of despair, brought the Family of Blood to a quiet village and then disposed of them personally. But Tennant doesn’t play this as a useful lie, he plays it as something the Doctor absolutely believes in that moment, that he is a man who would not kill even as his daughter lies dead. It’s why his picking up a gun in ‘The End of Time’ has such impact. And it makes some sense that the Tenth Doctor would reject violence following a predecessor who regenerated after refusing to commit another double-genocide.
In the series finale ‘Journey’s End‘, Davros accuses the Doctor of turning his friends into weapons. This is because the Doctor’s friends have used weapons against the Daleks who – and I can’t stress this enough – are about to kill everyone in the entire universe. Fighting back against them seems pretty rational. Also – and again I can’t stress this enough – the Daleks are bad. Like, really bad. You won’t believe just how mindbogglingly bad they are. The Doctor has tried to destroy them several times by this point. Here, there isn’t the complication of double-genocide, and instead the very real threat of absolutely everyone in the universe dying. This accusation, that the Doctor turns people into weapons, should absolutely not land.
And yet, with the Tenth Doctor, it does. This is a huge distinction between him and the First Doctor, who had to persuade pacifists to fight for him in ‘The Daleks’.
In ‘The Sontaran Strategem’ Martha compares the Doctor to fire. It’s so blunt it almost seems not worth saying, but it’s the perfect analogy (especially for a show where fire is a huge part of the very first story). Yes, fire shines in dark places, yes it can be a beacon, but despite it being very much fire’s entire deal, people can forget that it burns. And fire has that mythical connection of being stolen from the gods and brought to humanity. The Time Lord Victorious concept fits the Tenth Doctor so well. Of all the Doctors, he’s the most ready to believe in himself as a semi-mythic figure.
Even when regenerating there’s a balance between hero and legend: the Tenth Doctor does ultimately save Wilfred Mott, but only after pointing out passionately how big a sacrifice he’s making. And then he goes to get his reward by meeting all his friends, only to glare at them from a distance. His last words are ‘I don’t want to go’, which works well as clearly being a poignant moment for the actor as well, but in the context of Doctor Who as a whole it renders Ten anomalous: no one else went this unwillingly. And yet, in interviews Russell T. Davies said it was important to end the story with ‘the Doctor as people have loved him: funny, the bright spark, the hero, the enthusiast’.
It’s fascinating then, that this is the Doctor who has been taken to heart by so many viewers because there’s such an extreme contrast between his good-natured front, his stated beliefs, and his actions. He clearly loves Rose and Donna, but leaves them with a compromised version of happiness. They go on extraordinary journeys only to end up somewhere that leaves them less than who they want to be, with Russell T. Davies being more brutally honest than Steven Moffat, who nearly always goes the romance route. Davies once said to Mark Lawson that he liked writing happy endings ‘because in the real world they don’t exist’, but his endings tend towards the bittersweet: Mickey and Martha end up together but this feels like they’re leftovers from the Doctor and Rose’s relationship. The Tenth Doctor doesn’t, as Nine does, go with a smile, but holding back tears.
cnx.cmd.push(function() { cnx({ playerId: "106e33c0-3911-473c-b599-b1426db57530", }).render("0270c398a82f44f49c23c16122516796"); });
It’s a testament to how well written the Tenth Doctor is that the character has this light and shade, and with David Tennant’s immense likeability he can appeal to a wider audience as a result. It’s not surprise he wins all these polls, but I can’t help but feel that if the Doctor arrived and invited me on board the TARDIS, I’d want it to be anyone but Ten.

hi. i figured that while i’m on that crime boys grind, that i should. cracks knuckles. pop off with something that makes yall cry, so
i’ve been rewatching the wilbur tour stream with tommy recently, and there’s some things i noticed about what c!tommy had to say to his chat about getting wilbur stone that i haven’t seen people talk about much? and because i’m thinking about it —and, honestly because i’m sort of tired of the ppl misinterpreting how c!tommy feels about c!wilbur— i’m just gonna. does my silly little dance. use my big boy brain and talk abt it
“nonono, i know about the manipulation, i don’t *care!* cause he doesn’t think i can! ....which, obviously i can, so i’ve obviously proved that— but it’s not *about* that! i know he’s trying to manipulate me and it won’t *work.”*
so, here it’s obvious that c!tommy is struggling about how he feels about the interaction he’d just had. he seems to be slightly caught up in the fact that wilbur doesn’t think he can get the stone, and that’s something that he has to remind himself “isn’t the point”, but *also,* the fact that he later on says this;
“and he would be impressed with me, which, admittedly would feel nice, cause it’s—cause it’s nice... and it.. it doesn’t matter, though, but it—it *would* be nice.”
clearly, all the bad past experiences he’s had with wilbur has lead him to distrust the man— has lead him to view the man as somebody who “can’t be trusted” no matter what and somebody who “hasn’t changed since pogtopia”, especially considering later on he goes on to say this
“cause he’s gonna start another *thing.* and if he thinks l’manberg.. was just a way so he could get in....”
“oh no. i’m gonna have to— he’s gonna destroy the server, if he likes dream.”
clearly, wilbur’s earlier interactions— the things he said to him, whether they be true or untrue about l’manberg and dream has lead to tommy not trusting him even more— or, the words had such an affect on him/hurt him to the degree where it’s doubled down on the little trust he has for c!wilbur, and hearing wilbur openly admit that he likes c!dream, the man who’s been tormenting him to no end, puts him in tommy’s “enemies” category— makes him think that he’s gonna destroy the server and he’s gonna have to go against him, whether he likes it or doesn’t like it or whether it be true or it isn’t.
c!tommy is currently,,, conflicted on how he feels about c!wilbur, to say the least. we don’t know the interactions he had in limbo with wilbur, but it caused his view of the man to go from apprehensive to aggression. even saying *this* to ranboo and tubbo in the revival stream.
“do you think i liked wilbur? is that what this is about?”
and when ranboo goes on to say,
“*the* wilbur? like, your friend?”
tommy responds,
“we are not *fucking* friends, ranboo.”
beforehand, if tommy were to be told that, he wouldn’t have such a violent reaction— he wouldn’t have dismissed his ally ship with wilbur completely, wouldn’t have said that they weren’t friends entirely. tommy’s main motivation in the past was dedicated to wilbur— the *real* wilbur, so it’s confusing yet, if you think about it, there’s some reasons for why he could react so violently against c!wilbur.
going back to the limbo interactions. there’s like, what, some canon months worth of interactions we didn’t get to see in there? we only got to see *one* interaction out of months worth, but when c!tommy came back he didn’t seem— he didn’t act like the interactions were very pleasant. it’s off screen interactions so there’s plenty room for interpretation, but c!tommy has hinted, multiple times that whatever interactions he’d had with wilbur in there weren’t good, even to the point of begging c!dream to not revive wilbur, when beforehand the most he’d been about c!wilbur’s possible revival was nervous, even going so far as to say that he’d be his *friend* just so he doesn’t revive wilbur, and in the revival stream c!tommy was looking genuinely scared at the possibility of wilbur being back, going “you don’t understand, *wilbur’s back”* in a tone that, obviously couldn’t mean good things or isnt said in a pleasant way.
tldr. a part of tommy things wilbur is going to do something dangerous. this mistrust/believe is a combination of all the unresolved trauma he has from wilbur from the past, the off screen limbo interactions, and c!wilbur unintentionally adding fuel to the fire by saying that he believes his literal abuser is the hero and that he didn’t really care for l’manberg —which, i don’t believe is true - in the least, but regardless, isn’t a good thing to say to c!tommy— which is just a huge heap of garbage onto “the reasons why c!tommy doesn’t trust c!wilbur, the saga”.
however, this doesn’t mean i’m saying c!tommy thinks wilbur is completely irredeemable/thinks he’s the spawn of satan, either. he doesn’t trust him, yes, but there’s *care* there, like the tangent c!tommy went on about how it would be nice for c!wilbur to be impressed with him for getting stone/possibly praise him; he still searches ofter the man’s reassurance praise and, probably always will, because c!wilbur had sort of always been a guidance figure for tommy for so long. c!tommy currently doesn’t trust wilbur, but there’s also a part of him for yearns for the man’s praise and his attention, which is the reason why he got the stone so quickly, though he furiously said that “wasn’t the point”.
and also, c!tommy’s entire monologue about “not giving up on people” to foolish, to which he said that c!wilbur wanted people to see him as the villain, iirc, which is. Interesting. to me, because it’s clear that he still hasn’t gotten completely rid of the “c!wilbur is the villain” mentality in his mind, but from that sentence alone he’s trying to understand c!wilbur more, and also his whole speech about how “if you care about somebody, don’t give up on them”. c!tommy’s feelings on wilbur currently are complicated, but he’s always been willing to follow him to the ends of the earth— he’s always trusted and loved that man with his entire heart, so that basically means that, yea, he still might think c!wilbur is a bad guy and not entirely trust him, but he also isn’t going to give up on him. and he’d said he “didn’t have it in him to save the server before” so it makes me think that 👁️ maybe he’ll just try to convince c!wilbur to the “good side”? thinks he doesn’t think he’s on the good side?? perhaps??
i don’t know. i’m just thinking about them. c!crime boys make me so very Emotional there’s so much - to them and i just ,,,, hold it gently. c!crime boys how do u manage to be one of the most bittersweet dynamics on this server

i totally agree on the key maiden plot being bs!! it absolutely ruined dante's route for me :/
now i'm wondering about your opinion on orlok? bc i personally couldn't really see how his route was supposed to be romantic. and oh man that bad end left an impression... but i also found the good end unsettling, somehow.
anyways, have a good day/ night <3
I feel bad for Orlok as a character, I think if the writing for him was better he could’ve been okay, but as it is he got the shaft a lot. They made him very sympathetic, what with his backstory and upbringing, but his father is never held accountable and is even kinda framed as a good guy? No thanks bruh, because of you, Orlok thinks it's okay to go through life eating only bread and drinking water - basically having crumbs for life. Boy is malnourished on both love and food. Mostly I just want nice things for him but I did personally find him a bit boring. He’s not as bad as the Falzones though, its just that cinnamon rolls aren’t my thing. And as a love interest? Gonna pass on that. Orlok felt like one of Lili’s missing children from the church orphanage. He just fits right in:
Tumblr media
She read him bedtime stories and tucked him in FFS, their whole deal was very mothering.  I have some issues with how Orlok sees Lili too, as if she’s some sort of flawless creature from the heavens. He’s not as bad as Henri on the judgey mc judgerson scale- the latter basically shaming Lili in the Finale whenever he sees her for hanging out with the Mafia (something she can't really help.) Still though Orlok said some stuff in the game that’s very…virtue guarding that I don’t vibe with.
Liliana is also extremely unlikable in Orlok’s route, as with most MCs she changes a bit based on who she’s with. Lili in Orloks route doubles down on the religious aspect of her character and is hella judgy. She calls the Lao Shu Heathens, much like how Orlok calls Yang the Devil (lol) and while yes, they’re not good people- I think them not believing in God should be the last thing on your priority list to point them out as ‘bad guys.’ Also the whole Luka thing was awful. Dying orphan is dying but OH WE MUST BAPTISE HIM. Yes because that’s what’s most important here.
While I’m here and on a rant, let me just say - I don’t like the portrayal of any of the mafia bosses in Orloks route too. It feels like a different writer handled them. Some people complain about Dante being OOC but I have less of a problem with him here, it tracks that he’d go unstable. Dude is very fragile and weak without Nicola and the memory of his dad’s killer getting unlocked makes him snap- reasons are given for it that we can follow.
Gil and Yang though? Nah they got screwed over here.
Gilbert in every other route is pretty amiable to the public. He’ll kill the innocent without hesitation but only if the circumstances call for it (i.e: Lili being Yang’s woman makes it okay for Gil to shoot her/ the boat incident where he sinks the ship and kills the human trafficking victims) Otherwise though, he’s a ‘for the people’ guy. He didn’t get his leadership through heritage (Dante) or by being strong (Yang) he got it because of his people skills, his charisma. In his route, he’s clearly got some interest in what’s going on with Lili but he protects her and takes in Luka largely because he cares about the citizens. What does he do in Orlok’s route? Well fuck all that stuff, Lili and Orlok interrupted his business deal!!! …Because they were fleeing for their lives from the Falzones and the Falzone’s were shooting loudly! So it’s all Orlok’s fault Gil's deal went south and now Gil must kill him!
Yeah that…makes sense.
Tumblr media
With Yang, I think a lot of people won’t notice how different his writing is. They’ll dismiss him as ‘well he’s Yang, he’s crazy.’ True, but Yang has certain things that make him tick. In his route and others, its established he values survival. He will do anything to get entertainment yes, but also survive- because he wants to keep playing. He wants to have fun. Yang specifically values Wisdom in his route, because wisdom = survival. He likes it when Lili cleverly fights back to survive. What does Yang do in Orlok’s route? He sets up this plan for everyone to chase Orlok and try to kill him, just because, and then fights Orlok- while saying:
Tumblr media
Like wow. Way to miss the point of his character. He’s also very a cartoony villain here.
Tumblr media
Seriously who tf is this guy. Why the hell would Yang care about that.
I won’t touch on Orloks bad end because there's not much to say. It's your standard 'lets now horrifically torture these characters.' I hear some of the bad ends in 1926 go in that direction too.

Given how hilariously popular this post has gotten, I feel like I should make this addendum to it in terms of “competency” on the crew and how it applies to them. The way I see it, nearly every member has a very specific skill/area that they are adept at handling with little else outside of that.
Jim’s area is of course that they are hands down the best fighter on and off the ship... and kind of not caring about anything else. They only give off the aura of being better at handling and thinking of things than the others because they’re always next to Oluwande, who gives off enough reasonable energy for two people.
Oluwande’s area is that he is the one with common sense, a crowning achievement amongst this crew. At basically all times if you want an opinion that reasonable people would have, he is the one to go to.
Frenchie has his music skills of course, but might be dismissed skill-wise until he’s dealing with high society. He thrives in this environment, knowing just what to say and do to con all those uppity rich folks out of every cent they have. If you need a man for a scheme, this is your guy.
Roach has the double billing of ship’s cook and doctor. It is inconclusive how adept he is at either job (”knives are knives, meat’s meat”) but the crew isn’t dead and he worked with an order of a 40-orange glaze, so he gets a pass.
Lucius has probably the most extensive skillset out of the whole crew, his literacy combined with his pickpocket experience and enough street smarts to get out of both work and being killed by Jim twice. There are also times where he gets to share the common sense badge with Olu and can give just the right advice for the moment, though he oscillates between being able to quickly think his way out of situations and having thoughts overrun by panic, so your mileage may vary.
Buttons is the ship guy. He can tell you anything you need to know to keep the ship sailing smoothly and the crew occupied. He also can talk to seagulls and is probably a witch, which would actually make his behaviour seem more reasonable than the rest, so good for him.
Wee John and Black Pete fall into the category of crew ‘generally’ without specific skillsets, but pretty much can pick up and do any job needed on the ship with no visible deficiency (though I would be willing to count whittling for Black Pete and to put Wee John in my noted crewmembers who have sewing experience list with Frenchie and Roach). The Swede would fall into this category except that he busted out his excellent singing voice out of nowhere, so he gets to notch that into his skill column.
All of this is to say, basically each member gets to be competent at at least one thing, and this does not invalidate the fact that they are all still equally dumb as hell <3
