Apropos of nothing (totally apropos of something), if you accuse a fan of being a racist, sexist, bigot for liking a fictional character then you just suck. Like objectively you suck.

You misuse real concepts and issues such as fandom racism because you can't stand how other people are having fun with their blorbo.

You post hate in the tags all because someone is interpreting a character differently than you.

You accuse fans of not analyzing a show properly when your own analysis has the depth of a slotted spoon.

Fandom is supposed to be a fun hobby in which a variety of people play with and engage with the text in different ways. We're not all going to agree or even like what the other does. And that's the point.

But if you can't handle that, then at least do the courtesy of not using fan specific tags and stay in your lane.

Stop spreading hate and malicious lies and recognize the harm you're causing.

I find people who say they want Childe to be "just some guy" really funny. If you even took a second to look at his lore, you would now he's not "just some guy", he's anything but that.

From the lore we have, we know that Childe caught the eye of the abyss and was swallowed by it and taken to the deepest and darkest part of it where he saw the endless possibilities of another knigdom. His presence woke up a primordial beast from its slumber, and it left its traces on him. He was trained by a "sinner" (Skirk). He has an abyssal transformation (Foul Legacy). He knows how to weild every weapon (except the bow, which he is learning right now). He is the only person we know of who experienced a time dilation while in the abyss. He beat multiple fatui men who were far older than him at 14. He became the youngest harbinger. He killed dragons. He's also the only playable character who doesn't have a vision story.

All of the things I have listed expect the primordial beast lore, is lore which we have known since he was released. The funnier thing is this just the surface of his lore. We only have just recently in Fontaine have started diving deeper into his lore. There's still so much more we need to know about him, theres still so many unanswered questions regarding him.

I really need people to stop listening to 'insiders' who claim to have highly secret, but extremely vague inside information from unnamed (and again very vague) sources.

These people are only here trying to stir trouble.

I don't know where this extremely vague information came from, but please use your logical thinking skills when it comes to these 'rumours' floating around.

People on set do not know everything that goes on in production and they aren't just giving out this information willy-nilly to everyone who asks for it. They sign contracts that specifically state they aren't allowed to talk about the shows they film to other people.

So please stop panicking over some vague information not even the supposed 'insider' seems to be sure of what it means.

I need everyone to just relax already. Let's just see what the rest of this season has in store for us and enjoy what we get. We've only seen 3 episodes so far, so there is so much more great content to come. Let's focus on that.

This is him showing empathy and using the weight he now carries to support young girls who have not yet gained the level of weight he does. I am immensely proud of him.

Do you think people in The Owl House fandom overly praise that Belos wasn't redemeed even thought it was obvious he was never gonna be?

Toh does get a lot of praise for being a show that didn't redeem the Bad Guy. But that is hardly praiseworthy when you can probably count on one hand the amount of times a recent cartoon actually redeemed the Big Bad.

I think the praise goes hand-in-hand with the perception that too many cartoons are redeeming their final villains a la Steven Universe when that could not be further from the truth.

We have more sympathetic villains, we have twists villains, we have villains that only become redeemed once there is a bigger threat, but we do not have a glut of Big Bads being redeemed in the last minute.

It seems that people are making up an issue where there is none and/or applying their disappointment with Steven Universe across all media.

The Diamonds got redeemed. Get over it.

Also, I don't get the concern of people worried that a villain might be redeemed. So what? If it suits the narrative and themes then that is a good thing. If it is rushed or poorly written, then the fault lies with the authors not the trope itself.

I can't believe I have to say this but redeeming a villain does not mean that their actions are justified. Or forgiven. A good redemption arc requires the villain to atone and forgiveness is not an automatic part of the equation.

I think people who are afraid that a villain will be redeemed are more concerned with a problem that doesn't exist than actually paying attention to the show.
