i feel like the relationship between arkady and victor is something that was too quickly overlooked and underutilized after the fact. both have unfortunately fallen victim to the applaudably lazy ��evil child” trope at least once, and are undeniably evil outcasts.

they are not exactly romantic, something between sexual and unbreakable. i imagine they're both arospec, victor futher having his apprehensions to a romance due to his previous roster of lovers. these two, however, are two broken pieces of a whole person that have been worn over time. in the darkness of marvel's box of character scraps, they have and found each other. i love them. their history with each other and outside of each other leading to a camaraderie is powerful and beautiful. two manufactured monsters that can find comfort in knowing that, yes, they DO understand each other.

weapon x as a whole share this general seniment, arkady and victor just having something a bit stronger. the team as a whole just isn't utilized enough to me, i need every ounce of information i can gather. i need every interaction, every word passed and feeling shared. i don't know, i read comics and feel like there's still not enough; not enough about their organization, not enough about their relationships on a deeper level. maybe it's just something insatiable for me, but i feel like my frustration is justified. they're all just my favorites ig, shrug

Sorry if this is a bit of a weird/potentially spoiler-y question (feel free to ignore if you don’t want to answer), but are there any plans for other teams within the Agency? So far we’ve been introduced to Unit Bravo (obviously haha), Unit Alpha and Unit Victor, but are there any other teams we’ll be introduced to later? 👀

(I ask out of curiosity but also because I’ve been having thoughts of making an OC Agency team for this universe and don’t want to accidentally use a team name that’s been used already. Thank you so much!! ❤️)

Unit Delta will be turning up in Book Four, and I'm very excited to introduce them as they have a very different vibe to the excited/enthusiastic teams we've met so far!

All of the teams actually have canon teams already, but Unit Uniform were killed by Murphy before Unit Bravo arrived, so that spot is the most likely to be open for playing with!

thinking about frankenstein and the untamed parallels, since they're both about heretic grave robbers, and tbh it's kind of interesting thinking of it from a birth myth narrative.

a lot of the horror of frankenstein revolves around the idea of man creating life being an abomination (in contrast to the way women naturally give life. 'birth without the gendered body')

The most out there Marvel comics headcanon I have for you is that Aurora and Northstar (Jean Marie and Jean Paul Beaubier) are Mystique and Sabretooth's biological children. (the two are 'orphans' whose parents were 'killed in a car crash'.)

This has great harmony with Aurora's DID issues, and Northstar's temper and control issues.

It also makes the scene in 2000s era Weapon X where Sabretooth brutalizes Aurora in front of Wild Child way more fucked up.

This opening description reminds me of how Bob Archer's office is described in World War Z by Max Brooks:

This is interesting to me. Logan in this universe maintains the mysterious past of his comic book self from this period of time. However at this time in the comics, when this was written, people knew about Logan's past as an experiment of Weapon X. In this he has his metal claws.

So...Is Victor Creed telling the truth? Or is he as in the dark about Logan's past as the general public?

Later in the story, the final raid on the mansion has psychic cages with little Canadian flags on them. So, is it possible that they come from Weapon X?

Maybe Logan is this way because his mind was rattled by Weapon X?

I always love when someone shit talks James Bond. The real spywork is closer to those of the George Smiley novels than they are Bond. I think that this bottom section that I've highlighted is in reference to SHIELD and Nick Fury in a roundabout way.

The first time I read this, I thought "Underwear Factory" was slang for Alpha Flight as superheroes. But it was very literal. In their fight, Logan and Alpha Flight destroyed an Underwear Factory.
