#not art (yet!!!!)#preddy good kristen I got goin on in this piece #for some reason my brain isnt letting me do this one. been stalling on it for a good few days. but I intend to break thru it #I need to put this on paper at least once #(its space sweepers. I think it would be funny if the kids are in that universe too but theyre just like off to the side doing their own #thing pretty much unrelated to the main plot. theyre delivery people. theyre all still teens. they get up to shenanigans and then #one day they look up like huh the guy who founded eden fucking died?? when #kristen specifically I got a decent amount hashed out in my brain somehow. she's like an engineered messiah with a grafted engine #along her upper body skeleton that'd let her spontaneously rearrange objects on a molecular level #so she can theoretically knit wounds or cure diseases by thinking abt it very hard #sadly the engine of course takes enormous amount of energy to power. so most of the time in practice she just #has a half-metal skeleton that doesn't do anything. so she's buff as shit on the upper side and one of her punches can break your neck #but her mobility is limited and she sprains her ankles like every other week. her shins have broken like a few times #I genuinely love the way her shoes n braces look in this one its very fun #there are a lot of choices I made in this one that are so fun and also just like. a result of putting them in space sweepers #and thinking to myself here and there hey this would be cool if it harkens back to their canon designs #not riz tho other than being human he is fully exactly like how he looks in canon. hes just like that #hes the navigator and he charts their courses by hand with a school calculator #(also technically their legal counselor since he's sorta responsible for not putting them in traffic control's hands)#drawing this does make me realise a lot of these dynamics are really fun lol. idk if Im gonna ever do anything like proper for this but #at the very least if I draw this the idea will be out there)

so it seems the poppy war has become my absolute favorite series so ofc i'm losing my mind comparing every scene with my other favorite series (red queen) and making an unfathomable amount of headcanons

I've been seeing a lot of theories where folks are saying that maybe it's Rio who is responsible for Nicholas Scratch's death and that's why Agatha hates her. It's not a bad thought, but I also feel like, if someone had killed/sacrificed my kid for whatever reason, I would never be able to forgive them, let alone be in the same room with them, no matter our history.

My mind keeps bringing me back to "You can't kill me"/"You can't kill me, it's not allowed." Perhaps there is some rule/oath/pact we don't know about yet for witches in this universe that prevents them from meddling in death, both in dealing it or in healing it. Perhaps Agatha begged Rio for help to get her son back, and Rio refused. If she is a Green Witch with healing powers (or if she is Death as some people seem to think), perhaps it wouldn't be a reach to assume she has some measure of control over life and death, and maybe it was the refusal to save/resurrect Nicholas that drove the wedge between them, and not anything truly nefarious on Rio's part.

I do think its funny when someone says “oh the fans make everything about the batfam” as if thats a fanon thing and not something DC did. Like. As a Batman fan, DC keeps sticking bats where they dont belong in an effort to sell more. This is a real thing the fans did not do.

i genuinely dont know how tales of the abyss did what it did because ive never had a game hurt me so much with like sixteen separate character relationships. all at once.

#.text #tales of the abyss #besides the fact ive (obviously) been thinking abt jade and luke #ive also been thinking about tear and asch. and how im disappointed they only speak like once to each other #because they. are like. so insanely similar it is. surprising to me they dont meet.#but tear in general is so underused. like.#tear. she doesnt want to kill her brother but she must. he is everything to her. but she knows her duty.#she is calm and collected on the outside even as she breaks on the inside. she is a soldier. she doesnt let her emotions #dictate her actions or her words. and she is kind.#and then. like. asch. he wants to kill his replica but he knows that he cant. his emotions get the better of him to the point that #he disregards everything about luke and paints him as the enemy. for as responsible and mature he is all of that #disappears the second luke is involved-- because his emotions control him. he wants to be kind but i dont think he knows how anymore.#i dont think they would get along but there would be an understanding between them.#with tear. understanding means kindness. if she sees herself in others or understands them completely. she becomes. so kind.#its almost shocking to see that side of her one moment and the stone cold soldier the next.#its a matter of what she allows herself to be #but i think with asch she'd become the opposite. because she sees too much of herself in him - unlike luke it is not #the good things. nor is it the things they could bond about. it is the fact that asch wants to kill the only person in the world #who is not responsible for what happened to them. and probably the only person in the world who could truly understand asch.#like i know tear says she believes some things must be done. including killing family. but i dont think she truly. truly believes that.#she is in anguish over having to kill her brother. so i think her seeing asch completely disregard and even attack luke at times #when it ISNT necessary. like it is with van. she would not be kind to him.#which is like. asch is really only Neutral at times - even with luke he sometimes cant keep telling himself everything is lukes fault.#besides being defensive. i think thats really the only thing he could be around that type of tear.#like a. I actually got enough time yesterday to run daewen through the descent so it's really just the final cory battle and trespasser and she's ready

but now i'm considering doing jaws of hakkon even though I'd told myself I'd skip it this run...

#this was intended to just be a quick replay to refresh myself on ms daewen #so little to no side quests except the bigger ones and those along the way #no dragons (so I got the 'actually that's not true' response from daewen when renn asked about dragon killing)#and no areas like hissing wastes (I only did emprise du lion for the samson quest)#i only did the descent to refresh myself on the juicy lore drops #I like JoH for daewen though because ameridan is such a tragic parallel for her #and honestly a key reason why she decides to disband the inquisition #but... do I have the time...?
