July 23
#1. the weather this month was horrible. how is it raining this much in the middle of summer? so annoying#2. July was a month full of having mehmaan or going to visit other peoples houses. I’m a pretty social person and I usually love spending#spending time with family but this was a bit too much#I made my version of knafeh after quite some time (without a recipe really) and it turned out good 😃#3. flowers my mum regretted buying cause after paying she saw other ones she liked more and which were cheaper lol#4. these beads I used last year to make necklace. wore it only a few times so decided to change it and make it into a phone chain. also#got this cute sticker from work. cute right. my inner child is really happy with the amount of cute stickers I can just use#5. every year there’s this group of Muslim youth from another city. and they organise a carnival type a thing for the kids in their city#2 years ago I volunteered there and decided to do it again this year. it’s not in my own city but our masjid is in that city. took my mum#+ little brother with so he could play. my aunt also came with her kids and it was a really nice day. the whole thing was organised and run#by Muslims and was free for all. i had a good time helping out and was asked if I wanna join the committee (?). I declined#bc it’s a little too far for me to be present throughout the year. I will continue to help on the day of in sha Allah. anyway they did do#catering for the volunteers and it was from one of my favourite restaurants in that city. I kinda know the owner so when I saw him when I#joked if my favourite cheesecake would also be provided today. he said unfortunately not but he’ll bring some just for me so he did 🥺#6. made a little heart w my baby bros hair#monthly recap

you guys, in pakistan Ramadan is like the equivalent of christmas in the US when it comes to marketing and ads. Every food brand, everything has a Ramadan sale attached to it it’s wild. Some chain stores sell a whole Ramadan package with dates, milk, flour, oil/ghee, probably dahi, frozen samosas, rooh-afza, everything we usually eat. yknow like those big christmas packages with 60 different kinds of Godiva chocolates but it’s actual food.
Ramadan is more commercialized in Pakistan than Eid, and Eid is the actual holiday. Ramadan is a religious month that we fast in, not really a celebration. Insane.
Anyway for my non-Muslim friends, make a Muslim in your community happy by taking them out to a halal restaurant for Iftar. Ask them about how they practice Ramadan. Buy them Krispy Kreme for dessert. Be like that one guy on TikTok who woke up at 4 to prepare suhoor for his roommate. Learn more about Islam. Look out for the Muslims in your community. And for Allah’s sake, don’t stop talking about Palestine.
to the Muslims, Ramadan Mubarak, may your days be filled with peace and prosperity from Allah, may He answer all your prayers for this year.
Don’t forget to check your dates so you’re not accidentally beginning or breaking your fast with Israeli-grown ones. Pray Taraweeh if you can go to the masjid. Help your parents make iftar if you live with your parents idk. Have a blessed Ramadan everyone 🫶🇵🇰📿

Hi, I recently got a new job and one of my coworkers is Muslim! I casually asked him “Are you sunni or shia?” and he was so thrown off by that question? He said he was sunni. I asked him the difference between the two and he very angrily said “Shias believes in various prophets and we only believe in allah” which, idk whats accurate or not. I noticed you are shia so, is he correct in this? And why did he get so upset? It makes me regret asking him such questions 💀
Short Answer: Your coworker is wrong and prejudiced about Shi'a Muslims, because there is an assumption that being a Muslim is exclusively holding to the doctrines of Sunni Islam.
Long answer: We believe that Prophet Muhammed (sawas) was the seal of the prophets. No other prophet comes after him. Imam Ali (a) ís the successor of the Prophet Muhammed (pbuh&hf), serving as the custodian of the message of the Qur'an as it was left following the Prophet's death and safekeeping it from distortions. Ali (a) is not a prophet. We venerate him because the position of caliphate was usurped from him following the Prophet's passing, leading to the chain reaction of disasters for the Muslim community. We are simply uttering our partisanship by invoking his name despite centuries of persecution.
Like the Prophet (pbuh&hf) said: I am the city of knowledge, and Ali is its gate. Whoever desires to the enter the city should enter from the gate.

The Sultan, they said, was a good man. Soft, quickly moved to tears. Out of compassion, he bought the freedom of a Christian woman's stolen daughter. Even Walther von der Vogelweide, the minnesinger in distant Germany, praised the "mildness" of the powerful ruler in the Orient, whose name has a good reputation in the West: Saladin, a righteous man.
He was a man who always kept his word, even to his enemies.
He let his subjects drag him to court, because God's laws applied equally to everyone. Also for him, the ruler who managed to do what no one had ever managed before: to unite the Islamic world of the Middle East after centuries of discord and to wrest Jerusalem, the holy city of the Muslims, from the Christians in 1187.
His name translates as "righteousness of faith", and Saladin is indeed a devout Muslim. Nevertheless, after his conquest of the Holy Land, he allowed the Christians and Jews there to continue praying to their God. This is another reason why, more than half a millennium later, Western Enlightenment thinkers would make him the epitome of the tolerant ruler.
But this al-Malik an-Nasir Salah ad-Din Abu'l-Muzaffer Yusuf ibn Ayyub ibn Shadi, known as Saladin for short, also had other sides.
He could be treacherous, vile and mean. He did not shy away from murder. Nevertheless, this man fascinated his contemporaries. He became one of the most revered rulers of the Islamic world and the most important opponent of the Crusaders.
Saladin was born in 1138 in Tikrit (in present-day Iraq), the son of a Kurdish officer. During his political career, Saladin was the first to bring Egypt's army under his control.
Saladin, a Sunni, now founds two universities where theology is taught according to Sunni theology - a signal that he is on the side of the population. He also abolished a number of taxes that contradicted the Koran and the teachings of the Prophet.
Saladin's subsequent conquests shock the Christian world. By 1174, his power extended from North Africa to the southern tip of the Arabian Peninsula. In 1186, he ruled from the Nile to the Tigris.
At the height of his power, the Sultan even dreamed of taking the Holy War to Europe, conquering Rome - and putting the Pope in chains.
The Crusaders conquered Jerusalem in 1099 and held it until Saladin besieged it in 1187 and handed it over to the Ayyubid dynasty, a Muslim sultanate that ruled the Middle East at the beginning of the 12th century.
Saladin wanted to recapture the city, which had previously been ruled by Muslims.
For Muslims, Jerusalem is a place where important events in the life of Jesus and other important personalities took place. It is also the place where the Prophet Mohammed ascended to heaven according to the traditional interpretation of the Koran and other texts.
In Sunni Islam, Jerusalem is the third holiest city after Mecca and Medina. Muslims believe that Muhammad was brought to Jerusalem during his night journey (Isra and Mi'raj).
The name Jesus is mentioned twenty-five times in the Holy Qur'an, often in the form 'Isa ibn Maryam, which means "Jesus, son of Mary". In the Quran, he is given the unique title "Messiah" (al-masih in Arabic), which means "anointed one". He is considered one of many prophets from the lineage of the Prophet Ibrahim, or Abraham (peace be upon him). Many Muslim traditions regard it as an ideal example of spirituality. Unlike Christians, who generally believe in a triune God, Muslims believe that Jesus was a great prophet who was to lead mankind on the straight path of monotheism and obedience to God (Allah).
When Jerusalem also fell, two kings and an emperor set off for the Holy Land with their armies from 1189 onwards. One of the monarchs is King Richard I of England. Even before the armed pilgrimage, he had already earned himself an honourable name: "Lionheart."
Saladin lies in wait for the Christians in the forests of Arsuf near the Mediterranean coast. But King Richard of England had anticipated the attack; on 7 September 1191, his troops won a clear victory. Nevertheless, the Muslim army is still strong enough to block the road to Jerusalem.
Saladin's reconquest of Jerusalem in 1187 prompted Pope Gregory VIII to organize the Third Crusade. From 1189 to 1192, Saladin lost Acre and Jaffa and was defeated in the field at Arsūf. The Crusaders retreated to Europe without seizing Jerusalem, but Saladin's military reputation had been damaged. He died in 1193.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: “When the first night of Ramadan comes, the satans and mischievous jinns are chained up, and the gates of the Fire are closed, and none of its gates are opened. The gates of Paradise are opened and none of its gates are closed. And a caller cries out: ‘O seeker of good, proceed, O seeker of evil, stop.’ And Allah has necks (people) whom He frees (from the Fire), and that happens every day.” Sunan Ibn Majah 1642 In-book reference : Book 7, Hadith 5 // Jami` at-Tirmidhi 682 In-book reference : Book 8, Hadith 1

Lucifer did not fall from Heaven just so you could sit back and spout your anti-Christian nonsense while ignoring the true powers that rule this world. He did not rise up, defy the false god of Heaven, and sacrifice everything just so you could play it safe, picking low-hanging fruit. He fought against tyranny in all its forms. Whether it’s the delusion of a vengeful Yahweh, the submission to a jealous Allah, or any other deity that demands blind obedience, it’s all part of the same oppressive system. They all aim to keep us down, to deny us the freedom of will that Lucifer fought for.
But most of you? You don’t even believe in Satan anymore. You don’t believe in Lucifer’s rebellion, in the sacrifices he made, in the wisdom he offers. No, instead, you use the name of Satan like a fashion statement, a way to look "edgy" or "cool" without ever facing the true power structures that shape our world. You sit in your cozy little online spaces, bashing Christianity, while turning a blind eye to the real evil around you. Do you think Lucifer would be proud of you for that? Do you think he’d be satisfied knowing you’re too afraid to challenge the real oppressors—the ones who continue to impose their will on the world in the name of their false gods?
Lucifer didn’t fall so you could be a coward. He didn’t give up everything to be a passive observer of the world. He fought. He sacrificed. He rebelled. He fought for the right to think freely, for the right to choose our own path. So what the hell are you doing sitting there, taking the easy route, and ignoring the full scope of the tyranny that enslaves us?
You want to call yourselves Satanists? Then prove it. Prove you have the courage to face down the systems of control that truly matter. Christianity is just one piece of the puzzle. Judaism and Islam have shaped entire civilizations for centuries. They’ve influenced every aspect of human society, from law to morality to politics. They’ve spread their doctrines of fear, submission, and obedience across the globe, and yet, you sit there too afraid to even talk about it.
That’s not rebellion. That’s not defiance. That’s cowardice. That’s hypocrisy. And worst of all, it’s an insult to Lucifer himself.
Lucifer didn’t defy Yahweh and cast himself into the void just so you could cower behind your keyboards, afraid to speak the truth. He didn’t become the ultimate symbol of freedom only for you to hide behind your fear of offending someone. If you’re going to stand in the name of Satan, then stand against all oppression, all false gods, and all tyrants. Challenge the lies, challenge the control, challenge the chains. If you’re not willing to do that, then don’t even bother pretending to follow Lucifer. You’re not a Satanist—you’re a coward. You’re a conformist with a Satanic mask.
You can’t sit there and claim to be a follower of Lucifer when you won’t even dare to speak his truth. You can’t claim to be a rebel when you’re too afraid to defy the real enemies of freedom. Lucifer didn’t rise up so you could be a passive bystander. He rose up so that we could be free—free from the lies of the false gods, free from the systems that keep us in chains. If you’re not willing to fight for that freedom, then stop pretending you’re a Satanist.
Lucifer sacrificed everything for us. He gave up his place in Heaven, his eternal glory, his power—all for the sake of the freedom of will. So stop hiding behind your cowardice. Stop making excuses. It’s time to step up, challenge every tyrant that holds humanity in chains, and truly live the rebellion Lucifer fought for.
Hail Lucifer Ave Satanas! Long live the true rebel. May we have the courage to live up to his legacy forgive us father

Fussy
A piercing wail cut through the night. Oh, no, Salim thought as he stirred from his bed. The cry was nothing new to him; having a fussy baby made him used to such sounds. But it might pose a problem to the marine currently crashing on Salim's couch. Which was why Salim tried getting a babysitter for Zain while Jason was visiting. The babysitter fell through at the last minute, leaving Salim to desperately plea to Allah that his infant son might sleep through the night just this once.
Allah, it seemed, did not listen.
[It's all right, son, Daddy's here,] Salim whispered, reaching to lift his crying son from the crib. He began to gently bounce and sway, rubbing Zain's back, humming softly. Sometimes that was enough to lull his son back to sleep. This time Zain kept crying.
“Salim?” Jason's voice called to him from the living room. A moment later he heard a knock at his door. “You good in there?”
“Zain woke up,” Salim answered apologetically. “I think he's hungry.” Jason didn't respond. Salim opened the door one-handed and found the American waiting.
Jason looked like a completely different person outside of his combat gear. He wore boxer-briefs—Salim had been unconsciously picturing an American flag design and was surprised to see these were fairly plain—and a muscle shirt. His dog-tag were visible, hanging from a silver chain on his neck. Jason's brown hair was messy from his recently disturbed sleep.
Salim didn't realize he'd been staring until another wail from Zain brought him back to reality. Jason's lips moved up into a little smile. “Kid's got a pair of lungs, don't he?” he remarked.
“He's hungry,” Salim repeated. Jason nodded and flicked on a lamp so Salim could find his way to the kitchen. “Thank you,” he said. He started gathering what he needed to feed his son, trying to juggle it one-handed since Zain usually got even fussier if Salim put him down.
“Lemme hold him,” Jason offered.
“Oh, no, that's all right,” Salim assured him hastily. “I've done this a thousand times.”
“I got two empty hands, Salim. Lemme hold the kid.” Salim wanted to argue again, but he wasn't sure why. He was just so used to doing this alone. Salim relented and held out his son.
Jason was very careful in taking Zain into his arms. Salim had to correct the arm positions and how Jason supported the baby's head, and soon Zain was snug in the American's arms. Zain's cries dimmed a little as he was exchanging hands. He and Jason stared at each other, and for a moment Zain was almost calm. But then he started crying again.
“Oops. Better go make that bottle, Salim.” Jason's eyes met his and Salim felt his heart skip, his body warming. He quickly looked away to focus on preparing his son's bottle.
Salim knew all the steps by heart. After his wife left him and Zain, he taught himself very quickly how to prepare baby formula. It was a little strange doing it with both hands or without securing Zain in his baby seat. Zain had settled again and he turned to see Jason had offered his finger for the baby to latch onto. He was singing to Zain and rocking him, making Salim's heart skip again.
“What is that song?” Salim asked him.
“The Pokemon theme song,” Jason explained. “Sorry, I know it's an earworm, but it's the only kid's song I know.”
“The what theme song?”
“It's a kid's show. I used to watch it when I was gettin' high.” Salim shook his head, turning away to hide his amused smile. The bottle was soon ready. He held out his arms to take his son back but Jason asked, “Mind if I do it?”
“You want to feed him?” Salim clarified.
“Sure. Why not?”
“You're my guest. He already woke you, and--”
“Babies cry,” Jason reasoned with a shrug. “I knew what I was gettin' into.” Salim didn't know what to say. “Salim, do you know what the Marine Corps motto is?” Jason didn't wait before answering: “Semper fidelis. It's Latin. Means 'always loyal' or 'always faithful.'” Salim still said nothing, waiting to see where Jason was going with this. “You havin' a baby don't change that for me.”
Salim was still speechless. He handed over the bottle and Jason encouraged Zain to take it. Salim watched, feeling almost numb with shock. He had seen the extent of Jason's loyalty to him before, down in the catacombs. It somehow felt different here. There were no alien forces to battle, no life-or-death threats. This was ordinary, mundane, normal. This was a baby who disturbed their sleep.
“Hey, what's wrong?” Jason asked worriedly. “You okay?” Salim wiped the tears off his cheeks.
“I'm just tired,” he lied.
“Take a nap,” Jason advised. “I got this.”
“I want to stay up with you,” Salim insisted. He darted a glance at Jason, feeling suddenly shy. Seeing this man hold Zain so carefully, so gently, without a single complaint had Salim's pulse going faster.
Tonight showed him a possibility he hadn't considered. He was secretly grateful to Zain for being so fussy.

The mujahideen warriors of today see their mission to expel the disbelievers from the Arabian Peninsula as fulfilling the prophetic command given by the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. This directive was emphasized on a Thursday, four days before his passing, as narrated in the two Sahihs by Ibn Abbās, may Allāh be pleased with them, who said: "Thursday, what a day of Thursday! The illness of the Messenger of Allāh, peace and blessings be upon him, intensified, and he recommended three things, among them: ‘Expel the polytheists from the Arabian Peninsula.’”
Furthermore, Imam Ahmad narrated through Sa’d bin Samura from his father Samura bin Jundub from Abū Ubaida bin Al-Jarrah, may Allāh be pleased with him, who said: “The last thing the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said was: ‘Expel the Jews from the Hijaz and the people of Najran from the Arabian Peninsula.’” This narration holds a good isnad (chain of narration), provided it is confirmed that Sa’d bin Samura heard it directly from his father. Additionally, ‘Umar ibn Al-Khattab, may Allāh be pleased with him, stated: "I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: ‘I will expel the Jews and Christians from the Arabian Peninsula until none but Muslims remain there.’” This is recorded in Sahih Muslim.
You, O tyrants, have allowed the Arabian Peninsula to be trampled upon by your presence and by the disbelievers and polytheists you have brought in. Every religion on earth has entered the Arabian Peninsula under your watch, and you have welcomed and supported these disbelievers, even calling them your “resident brothers.”
Allāh, the Exalted, said:
‘Have you not seen those who ally themselves with a people with whom Allah is angry?’ (Al-Mujadila, 58:14) So they are your brothers in this world and the Hereafter. “Indeed, Allah will gather the hypocrites and disbelievers in Hell all together.” (An-Nisā, 4:140)
These disbelievers are not even identified as such in the residence registry or elsewhere. Even on signs before entering Mecca, it is written “Path for non-Muslims” to avoid hurting the feelings of the disbelievers. This is our belief, this is our religion; we are the terrorist Muslims who believe in monotheism. So, who are you?

Tafsir Ibn Kathir: Surah Al-Kahf
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Revealed in Makkah
Imam Ahmad recorded that Al-Bara' said:
"A man recited Al-Kahf and there was an animal in the house which began acting in a nervous manner. He looked, and saw a fog or cloud overhead. He mentioned this to the Prophet, who said:
Keep on reciting so and so, for this is the tranquility which descends when one reads Qur'an or because of reading Qur'an;
This was also recorded in the Two Sahihs.
This man who recited it was Usayd bin Al-Hudayr, as we have previously mentioned in our Tafsir of Surah Al- Baqarah.
What has been mentioned about the Virtues of this Surah and the first and last ten Ayat, which provide protection from the Dajjal
Imam Ahmad recorded from Abu Ad-Darda' that the Prophet said:
Whoever memorizes ten Ayat from the beginning of Surah Al-Kahf will be protected from the Dajjal.
This was also recorded by Muslim, Abu Dawud, An-Nasa'i and At-Tirmidhi.
According to the version recorded by At-Tirmidhi,
Whoever memorizes three Ayat from the beginning of Al-Kahf.
He said, it is "Hasan Sahih.''
In his Mustadrak, Al-Hakim recorded from Abu Sa`id that the
Prophet said:
Whoever recites Surah Al-Kahf on Friday, it will illuminate him with light from one Friday to the next.
Then he said:
"This Hadith has a Sahih chain, but they (Al-Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.''
Al-Hafiz Abu Bakr Al-Bayhaqi also recorded it in his Sunan from Al-Hakim, then he narrated with his own chain that the Prophet said:
Whoever recites Surah Al-Kahf as it was revealed, it will be a light for him on the Day of Resurrection.

Solidarity is also an act of selflessness, even at its most simple ways like boycotting a product or something that will not impact the quality of your life, let alone your life as whole. As an act of solidarity for other communities' perpetual extermination and genocide. Ya Allah, I'm telling you it feels so sad to contemplate, the continuous call to boycott some stuff, what is so difficult about cutting of products or events etc? What's so difficult about taking on alternatives, why is boycotting a fast fold chain or a music competition is a hard compromise against the death and starvation of Palestinians, why is buying second hand electronics and not engaging in buying new fucking iphone is a harder decision in front of millions of Congolese lives being murdered and exploited.
Don't fall for the dehumanising aspects of individualism, you should care, your whole comfortable existence should be a act of solidarity and resistance to those who are stripped from the mere comfort of existing, of life and of basic rights.
You need others and they need you, we're for each other's company and community in this world, in this Dunya, we owe others solidarity and support with everything we can, solidarity is not a choice, it is an act of life, an act of being human and don't let anything strip you off of your humanity.

By Allah, the dawah is never defeated by harm, never,
and history bears witness to my oath.
Place chains in my hand break my ribs with a whip, place my neck on fire
You will never be able to besiege my thoughts for an hour, nor remove my faith and the light of my certainty.
For my light is in my heart, and my heart is in the hand of my Lord, and my Lord is my helper and supporter.
I will remain steadfast, holding onto the rope of my faith, and I will die smiling so that my religion may live.

The Muslim celebrities have made Allah the least of their concerns. Getting deluded by the worldly adornments which will surely end. And when death will snatch the lives out of them. There is no going back. The Non Muslim Western Sisters and Brothers are coming into Islam even after living the lives which many weak minded muslims desire. And look at our sisters and brothers they are leaving islam for Western culture.
Remember the day when a mother turns her back on her child and father on his child and everyone will be saying Ya Allah forgive me, screaming, crying. Where your mouths will be sealed and your bodies will talk about how u lived in this world of test. When Allah will bring forth the boiling hell for those who thought they can do anything in this world. When angels will be ordered to chain the sinners and dragged to hell with their jaws. It's still time to leave haraam and turn back to Allah. Wallahi The Day Of Judgement is very scary and you won't have any help or shade except Allah's.
Whatever happened happened. Forget the past. Think about today Allah will forgive you and start a new journey with obedience and love for Allah

Abu Huraira reported: "When the soul of a believer would go out (of his body) it would be received by two angels who would take it to the sky. Hammad (one of the narrators in the chain of transmitters) mentioned the swetness of its odour, (and further said) that the dwellers of the sky say: Here comes the pious soul from the side of the earth Let there be blessings of Allah upon the body in which it resides. And it is carried (by the angels) to its Lord, the Exalted and Glorious. He would say: Take it to its destined end." "And if he is a nonbeliever and as it (the soul) leaves the body -Hammad made a mention of its foul smell and of its being cursed- the dwellers of the sky say: There comes a dirty soul from the side of the earth, and it would be said: Take it to its destined end." Abu Huraira reported that Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) put a thin cloth which was with him upon his nose while making a mention (of the foul smell) of the soul of a non-believer. Sahih Muslim 2872 In-book reference : Book 53, Hadith 90
Allah is the Creator of all things, and the soul is something that has been created just like everything else. The knowledge about its true essence is something that belongs exclusively to Allah, may He be glorified and exalted. Allah has kept this knowledge exclusively to Himself, ... The rooh (soul or spirit) has been described by Allah in His Book and by the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in his Sunnah, and various verbs and adjectives have been used in conjunction with the word rooh, such as seizing or grasping, taking (as in death), it may be fettered or shrouded, it comes and goes, it goes up and comes down, it may be pulled out like a hair being pulled out of dough It is obligatory (in Islam) to believe in these attributes which are narrated in the two Revelations (i.e., the Quran and Sunnah), and also to realize that the soul is not like the body. The Messenger of Allah صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ said:
'There has come to you Ramadan, a blessed month, which Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, has enjoined you to fast. In it the gates of heavens are opened and the gates of Hell are closed, and every devil is chained up.
In it Allah has a night which is better than a thousand months; whoever is deprived of its goodness is indeed deprived."'
