This whole thing with the "stolen 5K acc" BS is pitiful as it is laughable

'Cause help me understand something...

And for the sake of those not on X/twitter, imma try to summarize this whole shit-show as quick as I can.

Basically on the LAST VOTING DAY for AMAs, two large Namjoon Solo fanbases (one from Indonesia & one from India) suddenly claimed that "5K accounts" that were ALLEGEDLY "distributed" got ALLEGEDLY "stolen" and used to vote for Jimin instead.

But here's the catch!

A) They claimed not to know WHO did it, but still blamed PJMs/Jimin biased armys and spread this info on multiple social medias (to which armys blindly believed).

B) Said they would expose the culprit or culprits, but when prompted to SHOW said evidence they later claimed they "didn't have all the evidence yet".

C) They only showed SS of ONE email that ends in " @ gheol.com"

But when you type gheol.com on Google you get this

Its a DOMAIN, not an email address and if you type the whole address shown above they come up as INVALID.

Now I've seen my fair share of strange email addresses in all my years of voting for Jimin and handling MULTIPLE emails.

But never have I seen that domain name.

So when shown this evidence, guess what these fanbases did?

One of them deactivated and the other went Private after dropping a bullshit statement that the reason they haven't "shown proof" is because of "lack of human resources" and not only that, but now they're stating that they will "hold off showing proof until AFTER the AMAs announce the winner."

WHY after? Simple.

A) They DONT have evidence, because these emails DONT EXIST. They just wanted to incriminate people who were voting for Jimin and on the same note discredit his achievements just like they've been doing since the nominees were first announced, because they DONT want Jimin to win.

B) If Jimin wins, they will claim its because of those "5K accounts that were stolen" and will continue their smear campaign against Jimin like they've been doing all along. (Just like when armys who never vote or steam for Jimin try to claim new achievements he receives).

And let me tell you guys something, as someone who's been helping the Admins of ThePJMSociety here on tumblr to find voters and distribute emails, I can tell you a thing or two of how this works.

ALL fanbases are well organized handling and distributing emails. There's literally a spreadsheet on Google Docs that we access that shows us the amount of emails BY NUMBER, the name of the voters, how many accs were distributed to each, the Admin that distributed them, and lastly a collum where we have to mark if the person voted that day or not. We also had to ask voters for screenshots evidence DAILY of them voting for Jimin and the admins responsible for the distribution of the emails who then log into those emails ourselves to make sure they voted for Jimin.

And for the record, it takes LESS than an hour to go through 200 emails to check the votes.

So you're telling me... that these fbs had NO idea WHO "stole" the emails... even though they have DIRECT access to them, are keeping track of all the ppl who ask for emails and all it takes is 5 seconds per account to check....?!

I'm calling bullshit to this whole circus.

And another thing that's fucking with my head is!

Where is the support they claim to be giving to this member??

And many are PRAYING for us to disappear when the group returns together (IF and WHEN that happens) so they can go back to shoving Jimin into a corner where they can forget about him until they need a punching bag again.

They're already openly showing their hate for Jimin by excluding him from important votings and nominations, they harass new and old reactors into accepting toxic narratives about Jimin, anyone who speaks up gets silenced and labelled a Solo-----imagine what will happen if we back down and quit our support? If we stop being loud and defending him from these hate campaigns? It'll be 2018 all over again.

And if Jimin DOES win on AMAs, we WILL celebrate it. Fuck it.

DP x DC Prompt: The New Teacher

(So, I've seen a lot of prompts that have Danny go to Gotham and be a teacher but I don't remember seeing any with it in this direction, so on the chance that this is an original idea here we go!)

Jason was given a choice, or multiple choices. Babysit the Replacement on a mission that could last a week, go to Bludhaven and have some 'brother bonding time' with Dick who needed backup on a big case, or take a temp solo-gig in a tiny town in the middle of nowhere called Amity Park.

Well, considering he was still a bit hurt about the fact that B replaced him all those years ago and the pit loved to grab hold of that bit of frustrations towards his younger brother, that didn't seem like a smart idea. Dick wasn't an option either because he knew that would lead to 'talking about feelings' and other shit that he didn't want to do.

So he took the solo-gig.

It was supposed to be easy, at least that's what had been implied by the others he'd spoken to about the case. It seemed like most of the Justice League thought this situation was being 'exaggerated' because most of the time when somebody checked out what was going on there was nothing happening. No big take over, or kidnapping, or 'end of the world' situation, but there had been too many calls to put Bruce's mind at ease. The frequent calls mixed with the fact that the Government apparently had the area under a 'black out' made Bruce even more nervous.

Hell, if it hadn't been for the fact that Bruce was famous and that Scarecrow, Penguin and Riddler had all escaped from Arkham he would have been doing the case himself.

Which is how Jason ended up in a restraunt named 'Nasty Burger' looking at the news papers he had managed to get from a stand down the street while taking notes of things he had already seen. It wasn't just that the Government had cut them off, all of the tech in the city was easily 20 years outdated compared to the rest of the world.

Nokia phones, chunky computers, hell he'd even seen a kid with a PDA of all things. Thankfully, it looked like his tech still worked other than running slower than it should have, but thanks to modifications made by Barbara and Tim things were running better than he expected. But, they did struggle to have access to anything, specifically the news.

Hence the paper.

Ghost Boy: Friend or Fiend. A new vote cast by the city has found that the Ghost Boy - Danny Phantom - has had an astounding rise in support after the events over the Christmas Holiday. The new polls suggest that 43% of Citizens support Danny Phantom, with the majority of his support coming from the students at Casper High who insist that Phantom is a hero who has saved them countless times over the past few months. 49% of people still agree, however, that Phantom appears to be at the center of the majority of the attacks with many still claiming that he is the sole cause of the attacks. However, 8% of the population remain undecided, including many teachers, police and hospital staff. Upon seeing the new results of the pole Mayor Montez had this to say; "While I will admit that Phantom appears to favor the younger generation and frequently seems to come to their aid, we cannot forget what it has done in the past. Taken hostages, injured innocents, and caused millions in property damage. Phantom may not be a 'villain' in the typical sense of the word, but we shouldn't blindly trust him just because of a few good deeds."

So there was a... hero? Half hero - potentially villain - in Amity Park? That might have explained some of the calls they'd gotten from Amity park over the past few months. Still, he was concerned by some parts of the report.

Students at a high school were frequently coming under attack? So much that this potential-villain kept saving them? Just what was the cause? What could cause so many issues?

Jason looked up as he saw that same PDA kid talking with a girl with short black hair in a half-ponytail who was wearing a black crop-top. The girl seemed annoyed while the boy seemed worried about something.

"But it's Vlad, Sam... what if he does something?" He heard the boy whisper, "We should go back him up..."

"He doesn't need our help, besides Jazz ran away from home, remember? She got herself into this mess it's her problem to get out of it. Something that Danny should have learned a long time ago."

Jason frowned, pretending not to hear them as he hesitated then got up and walked over to the two younger teens. "Hey, excuse me."

The girl looked annoyed and suspicious while the boy looked confused.

"Uh, yeah?" Tucker asked.

"Hey, sorry to bug you both. But could you guys tell me about this... 'Danny Phantom' person?" He asked, holding the newspaper out.

The girl looked even more suspicious, "And... who are you?"

"And how haven't you heard of Phantom?" Asked the boy.

"I just moved to town." Jason admitted, rubbing the back of his neck. "So, I'm just trying to catch up on all the town drama."

"You moved to Amity Park... willingly? Psh, what do you have, a deathwish?" The girl grumbled.

"Come on, I just moved from Gotham, which is worse?"

The girl blinked as the boy laughed.

"Furries vs Ghosts, who will win~" He said as the girl elbowed him. "Ow! What?!"

"Danny Phantom is a hero." The girl explained, "He showed up in April and has been protecting the town since."

"A hero, huh? Could always use more of those in the world, but the mayor seems to have it out for him."

Tucker sighed, "No kidding, man. Somebody framed Phantom for something really bad and no matter what he does to try to fix it the city just see's that incident as the only thing he's ever done. It was the first big 'public thing' outside of the high school so it was huge but it wasn't his fault."

The girl reached for her phone suddenly, looking at it before she answered. "Hey, Danny. What's up?" She was quiet for a moment, "Yeah, we're at Nasty Burger, wanna join us? Lunch on me?"

A quiet mumble came through the speaker before she smirked.

"I'll order for you then. Double or triple?"

More mumbles.

"Triple it is. See you soon." She said, then hung up. "Come on, Tuck, Danny is on his way for lunch."

"Hell yeah, see you later, dude." The boy said, then jogged off with the girl.

"A teacher? Yeah, it looks like there's some openings but why would you want to have your cover as a teacher?" Oracle asked as Jason sat in his hotel room, looking through the paper again.

"Most of the incidents seem to surround the High School, I want to see what's going on."

Oracle hummed, typing for a moment. "Alright, well as luck will have it, it looks like teachers are sparse at Amity High, at least from what I'm able to get using your connection... which is infuriatingly slow, by the way, are you sure you did it right?"

"I've done it a million times, of course I did it right."

Oracle grumbled, "Stupid Amity black-out. Okay, so you have options. Most of the teachers have fucked off so all of the teachers in Freshmen year switch around to cover lessons or do mixed lessons. For example the English teacher also teaches Math and the normal Math teacher also teaches Science. So it looks like you could have any position you want and the school would just shuffle around the teachers."

"You said English is taken, right?"

"Yep, the teacher is named William Lancer and he- oh... wait, he's on a leave of absence due to injuries he suffered over Christmas Break. Concussion, broken arm, and bruised ribs, he'll be out for a few weeks."

Jason smirked, "Perfect. Sign me up."

". . . Jason, the English and Math teacher... never thought I'd see the day. Alright, I'll type up your application, send it in and casually push it to the front of the line. You'll be official by the time Winter Break ends in a few days. So get studying."

"Sounds like a plan, but I'll be fine, I mean our family is crazy and i deal with criminals on a nightly basis. How hard could this assignment really be?"

He would regret asking that question by the end of his first day as an Amity High School teacher.

Usually, I hate being wrong, but this time I desperately want to be proven wrong. Four years from now as we're looking back on his second term, I hope you're giving me a well-deserved, "I told you so."

• I hope I'm wrong that his tariffs and other economic policies will drive up prices and hurt the poor and middle class.

• I hope I'm wrong about him and his followers continuing to demonize and scapegoat transgender people, and the pain and deaths it will cause.

• I hope I'm wrong about his rhetoric worsening the hate and racism in this country.

• I hope I'm wrong about the damage his policies will do to the environment and to the future of the planet.

• I hope I'm wrong about how the next four years will embolden Russia, North Korea, and other dictatorships.

I could go on, but the point is, I would love for all of my fears to be proven groundless. And if that's what happens, I will joyfully tell you that you were right.

The Veil and the Ad Hominem Fallacy

While there are many things I love about Veilguard, the way the Veil was dealt with was definitely a weak point. We know the devs were worried that people sympathized too much with Solas' goals; hence the choice to have him kill Varric. But I think this demonstrates a misunderstanding of the reasons why people liked and sympathized with Solas.

In previous games, we were shown that the Veil has consistently harmed spirits, mages, and (arguably) elves - three groups who are systematically oppressed and/or have their personhood erased in Thedas. And in Inquisition, Solas was the only person who stood up for spirits, and among one of the most vocal supporters of mage freedom; he was also (albeit inconsistently) critical of the ways elves have been treated throughout Thedosian history. So people who sympathized with those three groups were naturally inclined to have at least some sympathy both for him personally and for his plans regarding the Veil (of course pending further details, since Trespasser was pretty vague about this). It's not the case that people agreed with him blindly because they liked him or because they romanced him; they liked him because they agreed with him, at least about the harms the Veil was inflicting on vulnerable groups. The use of Cyrian as a metaphor is also telling here. Anaris is clearly intended a parody of Solas, and so the mask which makes Cyrian feels Anaris' emotions seems to be intended as a critique of people who sympathize with ancient elven gods due to empathizing too much with them. But again, this is a misunderstanding. People didn't sympathize with Solas' goals just because they think he's tragic, they sympathized for actual reasons based on the canonical evidence for the Veil doing harm.

Having Solas kill Varric was therefore not a good way of addressing this issue, because Solas' personal character and methods are completely irrelevant to the question of whether the Veil should come down or not. The same goes for showing that Solas is largely motivated by regret, or that he often gets his plans wrong - all of this is a classic ad hominem fallacy. Perhaps these things might serve to convince us that it is not a good idea for Solas to take down the Veil by himself, but none of it is relevant to the question of whether the Veil should in fact come down.

The right way to address this issue would have been to actually address the arguments for it! Allow Solas to articulate the fact that the Veil harms spirits, mages and (perhaps) elves. Allow him to tell us what he believes Thedas would look like after the Veil came down. Allow Rook to discuss Solas' claims with knowledgeable people like Emmrich and Morrigan, and assess their validity. Perhaps even allow Rook to talk with the Mourn Watch, the Veil Jumpers and so on about other possible ways to mitigate the harms that the Veil does. Give Rook a chance to convince Solas himself that there are other options!

I'm not saying that the Veil should have come down. There's no canonical answer to the question of whether that would have been a good outcome, since we got no concrete details at all on what Thedas might look like if it did. Nor do I necessarily think that would have been a better story. But I do think the game we actually got would have been strengthened if they'd trusted players a bit more and allowed us to explicitly contemplate the morality of the Veil, and to seek alternative ways of solving the problems it causes.

Zevlor:

Zevlor is emotionally a wreck already, he considers kindness a virtue and it definitely makes him swoon when he notices you put extra care in making sure he's treated with kindness. At the end of the day, he basically got bullied on all fronts when all he really wants is to prove himself worthy of the title he carried for so long.

Zevlor has a short temper too, and he appreciates so much your effort and patience in dealing with his outbursts, whether they are of rage- not towards you of course- or of sadness, you offer always a shoulder for him and he cherishes it so much.

He is lowkey jealous when he notices that your kindness is not mostly exclusive to him, he has learned that people can abuse one's patience and care, and 1. he doesn't want you to get hurt, 2. he wishes your kindness was maybe reserved to him. Call him selfish, but after being deprived of it for so long, he is hesitant to let go of it.

Astarion:

Initially he would be very wary, in his experience being nice always lead to him getting hurt, so why would he trust someone who's default reply is kindness? At the end of the day the last time someone was '''''kind''''' to him, he was turned in a vampire spawn, so he takes it extra slow, he has just regained control over himself, he won't blindly accept kindness. He's lowkey afraid you are just part of a bigger scheme that will bite him in the ass and leave him shackled and caged again.

Once he gets accustomed to your kindness and finally accepts it, he revels in the kindness you offer and your patience, especially the smallest gestures like opening a door for him. He will literally melt for it, he's already smitten, your kindness leaves him like mush in your hands.

Nevetheless every good side, comes with a negative one. He is dead afraid your kindness will bring you to get hurt. He often reminds you to be weary and keep all your kindness for people you trust (HIM), rather than going around and helping every lost soul that asks for help. He will fight you on this a few times- especially if you do get hurt or it is obvious you are about to- he will not bite his tongue and keep it for himself, and that's one of the moments when he's glad you are patient.

You understand where it comes from and you try your best to find a solution that would make both happy. Your patience of course doesn't stop there, he knows he's an handful: he carries an heavy trauma baggage and he has a feisty personality, yet you always show him you don't mind, that you are there for him and that he can take all the time of the universe to sort his problems out.

Wyll:

Wyll would find it so endearing, how you are ready to go to someone's aid, you stop on your tracks to support someone in need, and he would love seeing you being kind to everyone. It's probably one of the reasons why he falls in love with you. Unlike Astarion he encourages you to be kind to everyone, cause he considers it a virtue, he incourages you to be the best version of yourself, and he reminds you that if you do get hurt, he will be there to pick up the pieces.

As far as patience goes, he's grateful to the moon and back, he knows he is an handful, especially if he doesn't break his pact with Mizora and has to leave more times than ever. He makes sure once he's back though that he makes up for lost time, whether it is with gifts or by taking care of you.

Haarlep:

Harleep is so used to Raphael that honestly he's taken aback at first, living in the hells means that kindness is hard to come by and around Raphael? It's either a trick or a miracle, so he brushes it off, not repelled like Astarion would, but definitely not eager like Wyll either.. he would be probably the one that takes it as it is, just.. that. But when he gets used to it? He becomes unsufferable. So unsufferable that he goes around demanding Raphael to be treated with kindness and patience! He purrs whenever you are nice even the smallest, thanking you and praising you like a goddess. He even tries to be nice himself- to you only- and despite it has to be and effort, since he has never been exposed to much kindness, he does become a little more mindful, even asking before taking your form or just with small acts of services.

One time Rapahel makes sure to send a message to you through him. "Tav, Raphael asked you stop being nice to me, cause if i demand it from him as well, he's going to turn me into fertilizer", message delivered with a pout that begs exactly the opposite.

Harleep is another that is deeply afraid of your kindness. Let's be real, you can defend yourself as much as you want, but people tend to use people and your kindness is one of those characteristics evil people would pry on- he knows well since its literally part of what he does, and a facet of what Raphael does as well. He probably scolds you a lot for this reason, he does it in a sweet way- don't get me wrong- he sugarcoats the shit out of it, but he will let you know when you are about to get in peril or you are too careless with your kindness.

Gale:

Gale is touched by your kindness, already from the first days after meeting him.

You had helped him out of his blotched portal, you fed him artifacts, you didn't question his secrets or push him to reveal anything, and he doesn't give that for granted. Once he's closer to you, and he learns that you are unconditionally kind to everyone, he's scared.

He starts warning you to be a little less nice, to use your judgement before you blindly trust a stranger, but he doesn't push it past a warning. As much as he wants to protect you, he doesn't want to take away your chance to grow from your errors.

In matter of your patience he's so grateful, he spends days thanking you when he's still afflicted with the orb condition, he cooks as a form of apology or thanks depending what he did, he gets baths started for you, he's treating you as a queen/ king. He alread would do it, but with you? He's even more protective, he almost feels like he has to match your kindness and patience with as much attentions he can muster.

Halsin:

Halsin is a fair man you think he wishes everyone was kind, but he actually wants you to be fair, he wants you to be mindful of who you give kindness to, he wants you to be a reasonable judge rather than unconditionally nice cause it is the way of the nature as well. Nature is not only nurturing and lush, it's also the poisonous vipers and herbs.

Does he appreciate when you are kind? Absolutely, he thinks it's the best gift Silvanus has ever bestowed him, but it doesn't take away the fact that he wants you to be treated kindly as well, so the moment someone crosses the line and starts abusing your kindness or becomes rude, he's definitely stepping in to s h a m e the other person. "You are lucky you have met Tav, cause they are kind, but nature wouldn't be so understanding and patient" He says it with a rage you rarely see in his eyes.

He will do his best to remind you to surely practice kindness but also to be mindful who you help and who you are kind to, cause there's always rotten that can harm you, and lowkey if you get hurt he will invite you to take back what you gave.

Despite this Halsin considers kindness the bare minimum a person should be, and what stops him from encouraging you to be kinder, its just the knowledge that you might get hurt.

I hear people have been checking in with Bianca to see where I stand these days. You can all rest assured that I am firmly planted in the same place you last heard from me. The same place I’ve been firmly planted since last summer. While I’ve had some slight shifts over time in my “whys” or “hows” of the current situation, I never doubt my “what” and for that matter I actually have a fairly solid “why and how” theory that I’ve been continuously throwing around since last summer and every month it seems to grow more solid in its foundation.

Did my vague-ness of that last paragraph confuse you? Simple terms: N & L are together. And why is it so secret? Well that’s a theory for me to know and you to maybe find out one day. That’s it. Those close to me know what the theory is.

It all comes down to knowing how to keep things in the group chat. 😏

With that being said, I have an observation of the fandom that I need to make express. People talk crap about the Jackholes and Tif & Co for being “stalkers” or “invasive” and “not respecting privacy” but why are we not casting as much ire on the Lukolas who are exhibiting the exact same behavior. The ones who are so desperate to “break the news” that they run to Twitter or TikTok or Tumblr to post something without thinking it through. The ones who are seeing research in discord servers and posting to their platforms. The ones who are delivering news of a personal nature about Nicola or Luke on their blogs without blinking an eye - and most importantly - reporting it as fact without any of us ever knowing that it is actually fact.

I understand that you online platform is your own personal forum and no one here is trying to police you but I implore everyone to take a step back and look in the mirror. This behavior is no different from the Jackholes and if you support it than I never wanna hear you talk down on Tif and her friends again.

While I’m on the subject of talking down - can we cut the crap on the Nicola hate? I’m sorry but Jake is gay. I’m also sorry but Jake is her friend and he’s not a character that will be written off the show. If he face “triggers” you or causes a “jumpscare” please unfollow him and his friends. And no, Nicola is not a bad person when you see her hanging out with them. There is nothing wrong with a “single” 38 year old woman having friends in their mid 20s. Let’s be honest, at this point most of yall are spewing hate at her because you believe something about her that certain online creators are stating as fact and so it’s hurting your brain to see her out and about so often. Well, I think I’ve said this a million times already and explained in exhausting detail why growing up in a particular environment—lacking social, emotional, economic, or essential support—and being subjected to violence during the most crucial years of cognitive development creates the perfect breeding ground for antisocial behavior. It also makes vulnerable or socially excluded youth prime targets for sectarian groups (whether religious, political, or otherwise) that prey on their situation, offering them promises of protection, safe spaces, surrogate parental figures, or social progress. These groups actively seek out kids with emotional voids caused by dysfunctional family dynamics, minimal to no financial resources, and a profound sense that the system has failed them at every turn. They offer these kids an alternative system—one that gives them a roof over their heads, a hot meal, a place to belong, and people who won’t marginalize them like the rest of society has—at the simple price of blindly following the group’s ideology. And they do it. Of course, they do. Because what other choice do they have? This group gave them life, a place in society, and restored their status as human beings.

But since I’ve spoken about this at length before and about how Severus’s life shaped his decisions, I feel like I’m starting to sound like a broken record. So, since I’m also reading a legal ruling I need to memorize by Friday, I’m going to indulge myself and dissertate as freely as I please—because hey, if you’re going to throw hate, I’m going to grant myself the privilege of replying however I want.

Here’s a question: why does it even matter? Seriously, what does it matter if he was a shitty person? Do you know that people go to space today thanks to the work of physicists and engineers who were literal SS members? That after WWII, all the top scientists, physicists, chemists, and engineers were granted amnesty and fast-tracked into citizenships so they could work on government projects? That people working within a stone’s throw of concentration camps are the pioneers behind some of the greatest technological advances of the 20th century? And you don’t care that the products you consume are derived from the work of collaborators with mass genocide, but you’re upset that people find a fictional character interesting? I don’t want to sound cynical, but honestly, it’s ridiculous to get so morally high and mighty about a character who doesn’t exist and who followed an extremist cult for, what? 3 or 4 years tops? and then canonically worked actively to take it down. If we put Severus in a real-world, wartime context, the guy would be a literal war hero with medals to his name. No exaggeration. If he survived, he’d be recruited with a fat paycheck to work in internal affairs for some major world power’s secret projects. That’s just how the world works.

And yeah, he was obsessive. But in an era where everyone suffers at least one anxiety episode a month, where the best-case scenario is that your panic attacks don’t spiral into chronic mental health issues—can we really judge him for that? Like, most of the people I see being ultra “snater” are folks who openly declare themselves neurodivergent, and one of the common denominators of all neurodivergence is obsessiveness. All of them. Whether it’s chronic anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, paranoid schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder or autism. Every single one has an obsessive component. So it’s kind of ironic—and even hypocritical—for people who are themselves pretty obsessive (because let’s face it, we’re all compulsively doomscrolling here to soothe our anxious compulsions with little dopamine hits) to judge this character’s obsessiveness as a negative trait. Maybe let’s take a good look in the mirror, too.

And let me just say, no court would convict Severus of collaborating with a terrorist group. Not a single one. Impossible. Especially since he literally collaborated against said group, so any judge would happily clear him—not after the war, but the moment he struck his deal with Dumbledore. Severus is what’s known as an informant. He worked from the inside, exposed himself to greater dangers than regular agents. Legally speaking, there have been cases where people guilty of heinous crimes—including crimes against humanity—were let off because they provided critical information. So imagine someone like Severus, who, as far as we know, didn’t even kill anyone during his time in the group, willingly spilling the beans and agreeing to work as a spy. He’d be celebrated as a hero of war. Hell, they’d probably buy him a mansion in Florida if he wanted one. That’s just how our system works, and honestly, this kind of moralist posturing is pretty cringy because you’re talking about a guy who literally saved half of magical society’s asses and without whom the kid destined to save the world would’ve died in his first year at school.

You can dislike him or think he’s a jerk, but he was damn good at his job. And compared to the people he’s often unfairly measured against (Sirius, James, Remus...), he actually did something. They didn’t. Absolutely nothing. Contribution: negative one.

NOTES: When I hit a writing slump in one of my series, I try to write one shots to inspire myself:3

We fall in love with three different people in our lifetime.

First love, this love often happens at a young age. You eventually grow apart or call it quits over silly things. When you get older you may look back and think it wasn't love. But the truth is, it was. It was love for what you knew love to be.

Lucifer fell in love with his best friend, Raphael. She was the only one who believed in his silly dreams when he was still in heaven, that's one of the reasons he fell for the seraphim. He didn't tell her, he didn't get the chance to as unfortunately, Raphael told him about her crush on Azrael.

This made him put a distance between them, despite a breaking heart, he played as her wingman and set her and Azrael up.

Lucifer was proud of himself for doing that, he got to see his best friend to be so happy and in love. He can see how good Azrael is treating her and he knows that she'll be in safe hands.

Second love, the hard one. You get hurt in this one. This love teaches us lessons and makes us stronger. This love includes great pain, lies, betrayal, abuse, drama and damage.

But this is the one where we grow. We realize what we love about love and what we don't love about love.

Now we know the difference between good and bad humans. Now we become closed, careful, cautious and considerate.

We know exactly what we want and don't want.

After Azrael and Raphael got married, it wasn't exactly difficult for Lucifer to move on. He saw how happy she is and he decided that he shouldn't dwell on heartbreaking things. He continues to do his wonderful creations for the world. Raphael remained supportive of him, continuing to believe in his dreams despite the elders not believing in him.

Then came Adam and Lilith, he was mesmerized when he saw Lilith when he visited the Garden of Eden.

He fell in love with her and so did she to him, he listened to her how Adam wasn't treating her right. He couldn't believe a woman like her is treated like that.

He talked about her to Raphael and even though the seraphim was happy for him, she warned him not to do anything stupid. He promised that he wouldn't.

The more time he spent with Lilith, they slowly got to know each other.

He and Lilith shared the same beliefs, causing them to give the fruit of forbidden knowledge to Adam's new bride, Eve who gladly accepted.

With that, evil finally found its way to earth. Lucifer and Lilith were both banished into hell for what they had done.

Even though hell was dark, empty, and incredibly hot. He and Lilith managed to make it work. They were madly and deeply in love. Their love bore fruit and that is their beloved daughter, Charlotte Morningstar.

An eternity in hell with his family doesn't seem so bad.

Not all happy things last, slowly his and Lilith's beliefs started to clash once mortal souls slowly came down to hell. Lucifer witnessed the cruelty of mankind, how his actions gave these souls freedom to do incredibly horrifying things.

“This is how they used their free will...?” he asked himself.

He hated it, he lost so much because of the risk he did to give humanity freedom.

Lilith on the other hand, thrived off the evil.

Their differences caused them to split.

He fell into depression, how couldn't he? The woman he loved for so many eons left him? Not only that, his relationship with his daughter is deteriorating. He doesn't even remember when was the last time he held her.

For so many years, he believed that he was unlovable and he was destined to be alone. Why wouldn't he think that when the love of his life, the mother of his daughter left him?

Third love, this one comes blindly. No warning. It creeps on you silently.

You don't go looking for this love.. It comes to you.

You can put up ANY wall you want, it will be broken down. You'll find yourself caring about that person without trying. They look nothing like your usual crush types, but you get lost in their eyes daily. You see beauty in their imperfections. You hide nothing from them. You want marriage and family with them. You thank the universe for them. You truly love them.

It took a while but Lucifer managed to reconnect with his daughter, he promised to be there for her.

He helped her how to get to heaven, he helped her when the extermination happened.

He was proud of himself, promising to help the hotel as he can finally see that his daughter's dreams weren't hopeless. He was filled with hope once more, he wanted to help humanity once more.

It was sudden, no warning. He wasn't even looking for love.

Lucifer found himself staring at the third sinner who joined the hotel, [Y/n]. She joined and he was able to befriend and get to know the sinner.

He showed off his rubber duck collections to her, he thought she would find his hobby silly but turns out she loved it and found it adorable.

It was unexpected.

He suddenly found himself wide awake in his bed at the dead of the night, staring at the ceiling as countless thoughts of [Y/n] filled his mind.

“Uh oh.” he muttered, a realization that he fell for the sinner so suddenly and he fell hard.

He can only think of her bright and sparkly [e/c] eyes, her soft hair, soft skin, her beautiful face, and everything of her.

He groans, “Luciferrrr... you just had to fall for someone so suddenly and that is your friend too.” he groans to himself, mad at himself for falling for someone he thought he could call a friend.

He doesn't want to be friends with her, he wants to be more. He wants to marry her, have a family with her, worship her like the sinner he is.

After coming to the realization, he decided not to confess immediately. Wanting to see how deep his affections for her goes.

And it was deep, it was rock bottom. He was whipped.

He doesn't mind losing himself in the process when he loves her.

He pretended, he hid his feelings. Afraid of losing her.

It took so long, hiding it became unbearable.

He spilled the three words to her, “I like you.” he says so suddenly, he was mesmerized by her that the words came out so suddenly. Catching both him and her off guard.

His eyes widened, slapping a hand over his mouth.

[Y/n] just looked at him with wide eyes, cheeks tinted pink from fluster.

“I-I'm sorry, pretend I didn't say that...” he says, slightly stammering his words. His heart was beating erratically, his hands felt warm against his gloves. His cheeks are warm, warmer than usual. The spots on his cheek have reddened more than usual, almost glowing red.

He covered his face with his hand, embarrassed.

He was expecting that she would be gone once he removed his hands away from his face.

He felt his hand being held by soft ones, removing them from his face.

“Lucifer, look at me.” she says softly to him, he looked at her shyly and with embarrassment. His red eyes finally met [e/c] ones. He admired how beautiful she looked.

Her eyes were looking at him with so much adoration, cheeks flushed, and she was shyly smiling at him.

“Did you mean what you said?” she asked softly, hope evident in her voice.

He gulped nervously but decided to nod at her, a slow shy nod.

He could see how her eyes sparkled, her smile got bigger.

“I'm glad... I like you too, Lucifer.” she admitted softly to him, her voice devoid of any lies and only filled with honesty.

His eyes widened, his cheeks getting warmer.

“Why...? What's something about me to love?” he asked her sadly, avoiding her eyes. He is happy she felt the same but he genuinely can't see himself deserving of love.

“There's nothing about you that I couldn't love, I love everything about you... Lucifer.” she admitted softly, holding his hand with hers.

His breath got caught in his throat, his heart beating erratically against his ribcage.

“I am hard to love.” he says softly, ashamed. He squeezed her hand gently.

“Who said that?” she asked softly.

“Me.”

Her eyes softened, her other hand caressed his cheek adoringly, “Well, you're wrong. I can love you just as easily as breathing.”

Speechless, embarrassed, and flustered. He's not used to such affectionate words said to him.

“Huh...?”

“I meant it.” she says softly, leaning closer to him, “Can I kiss you...?” she asked and he forgot to breathe.

“Y-yes, please...”

Soft lips pressed against his, his eyes closed instinctively as his hand found its way to her waist, pulling her closer to him.

They'll be fine. He'll be fine. He has her now.

Steve spent 3 movies saving Bucky. He gave up everything for Bucky. Let’s start with the claim that Steve’s movies were only ever about Bucky. This statement takes any sort of agency away from Steve. You throw away every hardship, every conviction every bit of his personality and morals if all you boil it down to is Bucky. In your mind, Steve is no longer a character, no longer a person. He’s a dog who does whatever Bucky needs. Which is not true. He cares about Bucky yes. But Steve is not a servant to Buckys will.

Steve, even before knowing Bucky was alive, was against SHEILD and the use of the helicarriers. (Which means he was anti government control, are you with me so far or do I have to dumb it down further?) “This isn’t freedom, it’s fear.” Steve says to furry when he is first told about project insight. Steve’s mission throughout that movie, his main goal, is to stop project insight and to stop the corruption from undermining people’s freedoms (which he does all with his partner Sam, none of this would have been possible without someone who shared just as strong of a passion for all this as steve). Sorry to break your heart, but Bucky is second in all that. He wants to help Bucky too, but let’s not twist Steve’s priorities here nor make it seem like Steve can only care about one thing at a time.

“He not the kind you save, he’s the kind you stop” sorry but Sam only said that from a narrative perspective for Steve to rebuttal. It’s not even really in character for Sam so I’m not ganna entertain that point. It’s something I laugh off anyways cause thats the only evidence you weird stickies have against Sam after all these years cause yall can’t let shit go. Pathetic.

Now let’s flash forward to civil war, since again, you seem to suffer from amnesia and can’t remember anything about Steve that isn’t Bucky Bucky boo bear Bucky. Steve’s plot in civil war is stopping government oversight. He isnt thinking about Bucky 24/7 in the film. Bucky is merely pulled into it all by unfortunate circumstances. Hell, you could take Bucky out of this film and Steve’s morals would have STILL stayed the same; governments can’t be trusted with control over enhanced individuals nor should they have any say in the avengers. THATS Steve’s moral standing throughout the movie. That doesn’t change. And it’s doesn’t change for Sam either, who holds those EXACT same principles and distrust for overreaching authority figures. Steve, Sam, and Nat went on the run, not for Bucky, but because they refused to be apart of a system they ALL didn’t believe in.

Now let’s get into the whole friendship piece of it all, since by your definition friends should just blindly support and follow eachother wherever (did your parents never give you the “if your friends jump off a cliff are you jumping too” speech?).

Maybe this is just me, idk, but I have never believed in feeding my friends delusions. I am not ganna tell support every decision my friends make with a “yes queen!🤪” if that decision goes against my own morals and could cause them harm. You are a bad friend if you let the people you care about go through with choices that could do them harm or cause harm to others. Holding your friends accountable is important, it helps us all grow as people. Not being babied or placated or diluted into thinking every decision we make is good. That’s how echo chambers start and egos grow.

Steve and Bucky are grown adults. Steve, with everything we know about his character, would not just let Bucky do whatever, not without Steve shaking Bucky by the shoulders and giving him his two cents. If Bucky is making decisions that go against Steve morals and everything Steve fought to prevent, why does your underdeveloped brain think Steve would just do a magic 180 just for Bucky? Steve would be furious to hear that his best friend (by your own words) undid everything he worked so hard to maintain. And to think otherwise is absolutely ludicrous.

Besides, Steve is chasing a ghost. The Bucky we know is not the man who Steve knew in the 40s. Sam on the other hand, is a man who he has trusted the word of time and time again. Even before Steve spoke about the accords, SAM was the one who fought against them. Sam and Steve have ALWAYS been on the same side when it comes to the government having too much control. They don’t trust the government as far as they can throw them. Sam is also the only one Steve has ever listened to when it came to plans (stopping project insight and stealing Sam’s wings, listening to Sam when he told Steve to let the rest of team cap get arrested so Steve could get away, even providing group counseling during the blip, etc) so yes, I think Steve would absolutely side with Sam here.

You think Steve wouldn’t back the very man he hand picked to carry on the legacy of Captain America? The man who holds his same principles and beliefs? The man who is the rightful leader of the avengers and will lead his team with the very morals that Steve admired in Sam and believed in from the beginning?

a last note on the ai-fic bullshit

a couple days ago, a person i had never spoken to before shared my call-out post on x with the earnest intention of spreading awareness of the issue. she was attacked and harrassed so harshly by the same group of people who have been dragging my friends and i through the mud that she ended up having to deactivate.

this group of perpetrators then did their very best to turn this whole conversation on its head by accusing the poster of being anti-solavellan, of sharing the post with malicious intentions of dividing the fandom and tearing down amateur writers, and grouping her and i/my friends as antis and what not.

my thoughts on that development aren't any that i can express with any diplomacy or maturity whatsoever, but @drakonmo herself did a wonderful job at gracefully carving out the very important conversation we, as fans, need to have within our communities. whether you observed or participated in the conversation surrounding the silence and the song and the following shitstorm, i strongly urge you to read her post (here) (on x).

tldr/to those who might be in a rush, let me pull out some highlights:

by deleting the evidence and refusing to acknowledge the public claims were ever made, these people who despise me and wanted to foment discourse could succeed, armed with the trust and respect of loyal followers.

suddenly, the entire wall of text of explanations, of signs, of concerns were reduced to nothing but one portion of the whole. people began to attack OP and me and write threads, posts, etc, saying we were insulting all creators everywhere and we were - singlehandedly - the reason people didn't share their artwork.

clearly, these people argued, this insult and injury to all writers everywhere was a sign of these posts being a hate campaign. suddenly people could completely ignore the fact that the OP is a HUGE shipper, and i have been the world's most vocal proponent of shipping the particular character with anyone and/ or everyone.

i saw some people ask questions - what's happening, what's the drama, what's the situation? and they believed blindly the first things said to them without even trying to seek the truth or sources for themselves - and i truly mean this was an issue on both sides, for both people who ultimately agreed with me and people who did not.

the people that deliberately misrepresented what was being said, who nitpicked so that they could justify choosing "us versus them" - i ask that you consider, if you can and you would like to, to internalize and reflect how you may be susceptible to situations like this happening OFFLINE.

if ONLINE FANDOM misinformation can rouse such a level of discourse, hatred, fear, and anger over a fanfiction or ship ...what are the implications for REAL LIFE?

are you possibly reading a headline and believing it without reading the full article?

are your political and personal opinions swayed heavily by your peers, rather than being shaped by information and political education?

are you well informed and checking for bias from your chosen news sources?

Just got done spewing some facts under a video supporting Priscilla and her “movie” I thought I’d share them here:

So many people here are uneducated and will blindly believe everything Priscilla says because she’s a woman and it’s edgy to hate on Elvis.

1. Elvis was never actually wanting to date or marry Priscilla he was with an actress very much his age that was back home while he was in Germany. He just saw Prissy as someone to talk to. She has so many issues with her yandere type fan tendencies being obsessive over a man she wasn’t even with in the first place and who didn’t give her a second thought

2. She did NOT hopelessly wait around for Elvis after he left she continued to play several different guys and she did have a very normal high school experience she went to dances and football games

3. Prissy’s father blackmailed Elvis into marrying her. Elvis did NOT want to marry Priscilla

4. Yes, Elvis cheated but not until after Priscilla cheated first with her dance instructor. She’d also call him while she was doing the deed so he could hear

5. Priscilla said herself the chair scene is highly inaccurate. Elvis was angry on the phone with the Colonel and threw a chair to the wall as Priscilla was walking in the room and he immediately apologized and said he didn’t see her come in

6. She constantly changes her story and her book she said herself isn’t accurate because she said if she didn’t make it dramatic enough it wouldn’t sell

7. For those who might say “she’s a child, she can’t do no wrong she didn’t know what she was doing” at 14 I was well aware of shit and what I did. And I know she did too she wasn’t some innocent angel

8. She’s an awful mother to Lisa Marie. Actively dated and let a man around Lisa that had said he had inappropriate feelings for Lisa when she was a child

9. Got with a married man who had a PREGNANT wife. Yes it’s also the man’s fault but she knew damn well he was married and his wife was pregnant

10. She cannot stop talking bs about Elvis cause he’s the only reason she’s relevant. In contrast to one of (what I believe to be) Elvis’ true loves Ann Margaret who only says nice things about him but she also had a career before meeting him

All in all, yes Elvis had some flaws but people spread misinformation about him all the time just like they do with Michael Jackson. Priscilla is no saint, she’s a lying gold digger who only cared about money in the first place. Not to mention she was laughing at Elvis’s funeral so if she truly was “in love” then why would she do such an awful thing by laughing? She continues to use the Presley name even though Elvis told her not to after they divorced and constantly spew lies and drop his name over and over again. She’s told her story countless times, this movie was slander towards a man who cannot defend himself. Like I said Elvis wasn’t a saint either but you need to take off the rose colored glasses and see both sides of the story. Thank you.

You are everything Furina wants and need, she envy your cheerful and naive personality, it is so sincere and pure that make her heart tighten but at the same time it make her feel relief, it gives her a break from her role, your smile it is enough to cheer her entire day but at the same time it brings tears to her eyes, she feels like you are the way life itself is telling her that she is doing a good job because if she continue she will be able to protect such smile

Furina end up taking advantage of you and even of her title out of desesperation, once she knows you care for her and even go as far as trust her blindly she is keeping you at her side to never let go, she grows too dependant of you, of your smile and carefree personality, she needs of those silly conversations she has with you about anything and everything, she need your naive but cheerful way to live, she won't be able to continue even living if you leave her side so, as the hydro archon, she will do everything in her power to keep you at her side

Still, in her own desesperation Furina grows incredibly nervous about the way you see her, she wants you to be happy at her side more than anything so she will be doing everything in her power to show you that you can be happy with her, she honeslty would be in an incredibly anxious state and reach the point where it becomes too hard to keep the confident facade, but at the end is thanks to your own kindness and clingyness what will leave her to calm down enough to keep with her work

Once she finally manage to adapt her life to having you close all the time, always making sure to have time to you and to simply learn to enjoy living at your side Furina is visibly more happy, despite being dependant and becoming anxious if you aren't at her side the happiness your presence brings to her life is undeniable, so, at the end, Neuvillete ends up supporting your relationship and even doing what he can to help you two stay always together

Kuki Shinobu

Kuki is already used to having to deal with someone childish and cheerful, but with you is diferent, somehow whenever she is with you she is easily infuenced by your cheerful personality and your silly attitude, she won't really go around laughing loudly but she is smiling under her mask

Whenever she isn't with Itto or the rest of the gang she is with you, she never wanted to be pushy or invade your personal space but the moment you accepted her at your side Kuki herself grew quite clingy, it is unexpected from her but she can't help it, she feels like she have find a safe place in this word, somewhere she is not only free but also where she belongs (she doesn't exactly leave the gang but at least you never bring as much troubles as they do, besides all of them are incredibly supportive of your relasionship)

Kuki doesn't believe much in fate but she can't help but feel like you two being together is mean to be because of how well you two match each other, she absolutely loves how carefree and cheerful you can be, how you just are you without worring about other's reaction but not reaching the point of being mean to others, Kuki feels an incredibly big sense of responsability and protectiveness towards you, since you accepted her in your life and go as far as trust her blindly and even clinging to her side she just can't ignore it, she just feels like now she must take care of you

From one side Kuki is incredibly aware of herself and can notice that her feeling are growing to be a little bit too intense, and she is worried, but everytime she just sees your smile or heards how cheerful you always says her name, as if she was the person you have been waiting for all this time she just can't help but forget about her worries and simply let herself get carried away her love, specially if it is corresponded

Kuki's intention has never being to take advantage of your naive and optimistic personality, but since when she is at your side she simply follow her heart her possessiveness end up being mistaken for her as simply the sense of responsability, and since from the moment she have won your trust you simply follow her lead (specially by knowing how stronge and smart she is) it is so easy for Kuki to manipulate you on doing what she wants and stay at her side all the time, even so Kuki has never done it with malice and even regrets it whenever she actually notice that she has being taking advantage of the trust you have put on her

Kuki really wants to protect you, for her you are a true sunshine, an innocent and beautiful person, someone with a smile worthy of fighting for so she just grow more and more protective and possesive over you, she doesn't mind if Aragaki or the others hang out with you since she knows non of them will try anything weird with you since they know your relationship (but will not forgive them if they put you in danger), but anyone else aside form them are under the sharp and scary watch of Kuki whenever they do as much as just talk to you

Silver Wolf

It is pretty dificult to catch Silver Wolf's attention, as a hacker everything is like a simple game for her so when someone or something catches her attention it is because it is something incredibly interesting for her, and once has it in its sight there is no power in this universe that will make her look away

Silver Wolf's love and obsession for you grows slowly but it does at the same rythm as she finds out more and more about you, for her is like a really funny way to go throught the sea of information just to find everything about you, and, honeslty, at first she just thought you were kinda funny and silly for how cheerful and even naive you can be, it is quite the contrast from her since she is more lay back and just gets excited by video games

It take her a while to warm up to your extremely cheerful personality but after a while she will just take a liking to it, and she even would find it pretty hilarious when she compare the two of you since she is one of the most wanted criminals, but that won't really stop her from going directly towards you once she has enough information

Silver Wolf is pretty straight forward but at the same time has a really good plan, since she knows all about you she knows what to say and do for you to trust her and decide to follow her, besides, since she is a big fan of video games too so it isn't like she is lying to you. Silver Wolf tries to have patient with you but at the same time tries to make this plan as quick as posible just to take you with her already, it probably won't take her much time before she wins your trust and take you with her

Once Silver Wolf finally has you with her she doesn't plan to leave you ever again but she doesn't plan on making you miserable, she makes sure to make room for you at her place and always invite you to play all kind of things, she loves you so of course she wants you to be happy, besides your cheerful and energetic self brings a lot of joy and fun to Silver Wolf's life so of course she would motivate you to keep being yourself

It is actually quite unexpected but Silver Wolf to actually take time to heard your ranting about anything you like and take in consideration the things you want to do, if she can she will take you with her to another planets so you two can have some little adventures aside from the video games

Despite literally kidnapting you and taking advantage of the trust you have put on her, Silver Wolf pretty much become like a best friend for you, whenever she doesn't have to go on missions she spends her time with you, even when she is doing important things for the stellaron hunters or just for fun she keeps you at her side, giving the most vague explanation of what she is doing before changing the topic to distract you

Since Silver Wolf's love and obsession for you only grow more and more the more time you two spend together she will end up just growing incredibly possesive over you, her beloved darling is also her best friend so of course she would want to spend her whole time with you, without noticing your only company become her and the rest of the stellaron hunters, but aside from them you won't really be talking to anyone else or only the most indispensable (wich normally doesn't happen since she makes sure to have all that it is needed ready so you don't have to waste your time and energy on things that will bring your attention away from her)

I’ve seen someone making a long post to “address” proshippers, but the post is completely biased and implies proshippers want to normalize “harmful ships”. They also go on about how fiction can affect someone's reality in different ways which uhm yes? No one says otherwise?

Fiction CAN but doesn’t always influence someone’s morals, ideals, thoughts etc. but I’m begging this person and other antis to understand that our morals are shaped by the world around us, we learn to tell right from wrong very early in our lives and don't and shouldn't need fiction to tell us that. 

A lot of people play violent video games, some become violent, some don’t, what matters is if the person who becomes violent either lets fiction affect themselves or if they’re unable to distinguish fiction from reality for other reasons

this isn’t even a proshipper argument, these are facts. Proshippers understand that and will not blame fiction for influencing someone to commit crimes because fiction is a tool, it may be able to influence someone to commit a crime, but it is not the cause of it. 

This is also why we blame abusers for harming children - we don’t ban candies because someone used them to harm a person/child, we hold the abuser accountable. 

Second: Proship has never been about saying “it’s okay to ship adults x minors in fiction”. 

Proship only came to be because anti-shippers came first and started to harass people based on on what they liked in fiction, which still holds true to this day (I was already in fandoms when it started). Not all antis harass people, but a lot use their feelings of disgust to go after specific targets (hint: it’s rarely the privileged and ablebodied who are attacked). This is documented on both Wikipedia (yes, I know) and fanlore

(Loud and volatile) Antis have caused and still cause tremendous harm, which they often downplay, or they find many excuses why repeatedly slandering someone as “pedophile” or why pushing the narrative that (C)SA survivors are only valid if they cope with their abuse in “pure and wholesome” ways only is justified - but this is quite impossible because coping in itself is always going to be complicated, messy, and never wholesome or pure (its abuse, hello? Abuse is not pure?)

Finally I would like to make this clear: no one says you have to be fine with everything you see online, and no one is forcing you to interact with or to accept people you don't or will never really like or understand. “I don’t want proshippers to interact with me” is a completely valid boundary and you don’t have to have a reason for saying this either

You can support someone’s human rights without supporting the individual themselves. 

at the end of the day these boundaries are yours to control. Block people, mute tags, scroll away if you don’t like something/someone, and please do not look for people to argue with because it breaks your own set boundaries. You can’t expect people to respect yours when you come to them first. 

Last but not least: don’t forget that at the end of the day that we’re all human people, and that no one from either side is perfect or always innocent. Don’t blindly trust people based on labels alone, even if they claim to be on “your side”

I would also suggest to stay educated on the topics of moral panics and what defines propaganda. The more someone believes that they don’t need to inform themselves and that they know what a moral panic or porpaganda is when they spot it, the more suspectible they will become to it

Sometimes I remember how Adrien in Revelation was blamed for EVERYTHING about Marinette's Lila problems and I get fuckin pissed.

Marinette went about outing Lila in the most incompetent and ineffective ways possible for seasons on end and somehow that's ADRIEN'S fault? If Adrien hadn't given her that "high road" advice, Marinette still wouldn't have gotten anywhere because all she ever did was pointing at Lila and screaming and physically harassing Lila about her being a liar and the devil. Adrien could have supported Marinette's (ableist) ways from the start and it wouldn't have changed shit. How is ADRIEN to blame for all of Marinette's incompetence? That girl never even tried communicating any real proof to anyone else. She just expected everyone to blindly hate Lila just cause she says so. What a hero 😒

And don't get me started on the hypocrisy of the show having Marinette as good as say that Adrien was naive and straight up WRONG for thinking there is good in Lila bc apparently some people are just born demons, which she has always known but HE oppressed her in "despite how right and superior she is in how experienced in life she was from the very start" (Cause Marinette having a raging jealousy hate boner from day 1 makes her mature and wise according to this episode's message)

and that Adrien should pretty much be considering himself lucky that Marinette is so pure and forgiving that she's able to love him for that pathetic nativity even though shes so brilliant and experienced that she's above ever being wrong like him bc she's just that brilliant and right and he's native, pathetic and wrong which she will generously teach him to not be anymore by telling him what way of thinking is correct (her way. ONLY ever her way. Just like in everything else in this show, but the love square in particular)

Only for Marinette to fucking do everything Adrien is being accused of in Revelation only 1000 times WORSE when she faces Gabriel in the finale episodes. The hypocrisy in this show is just VILE now in how disgusting the double standards are.

No way is this just bad writing. You have to go out of your way to be this vicious about the double standards and rewriting everything in the show to exclusively prop up Marinette on Adrien's expense.

It's all this moronic thing the writers have going on, which is: “we know Lila (and Chloé) will never change because we're the ones writing this shit.” So they have Marinette treating the characters they decided are irredeemable as irredeemable, but she has no in universe justification for that. She can't see the future and know that they'll never change, but she gets to lecture Adrien (and the audience through him) that deciding a couple of children have already become what they’ll always be while the rich, middle-aged men who made them that way are cool and redeemable despite doing jack shit to treat regular people better. They were nice to one (1) person, so now all is forgiven.

And, like, that's also the thing with the finale. Marinette detransforming in front of her enemy is possibly the stupidest thing she's ever done, but the writers' commentary praises her for “choosing kindness over violence” and how Gabriel making the wish is her winning because apparently her pleading reached him and he decided to doom the world in a good way. And Marinette makes this decision that's incredibly asinine in universe, because of the outside universe context. She basically knows that's what's going on because the writers decided that's what's going on and and Marinette will shill the fuck out of their favorite child abuse OC to try to vindicate him to the audience.

About the notebook

The thing about the London special that just isnt letting me go is that Marinette only made sure that her name isnt in the new villain's notebook, but all the other information the villain collected she left untouched.

For as questionable as Marinette's web of lies she tells the world are, at least there you can see the attempt of keeping it consistent to prevent as best as possible that her lies are discovered. But all of that goes out of the window by only caring about her name in the notebook and not what else this person now knows. Cause its A LOT.

Marinette lies to the world to make Gabriel out to be a hero, but leaves the new villain with the information that Gabriel was Hawkmoth. Sure, we already knew by the time of Emotion that Cerise knows that Gabriel is Monarque, but Marinette doesnt know this. Marinette didnt even try to cover up Gabriel's secret, so I have a hard time felling bad for Marinette when this will inevitably go wrong. Cause it SHOULD.

Or that Marinette at the press conference lied that she has no idea what Hawkmoth wanted to wish for. This can easily be revealed as a lie through Chrysalis (if that's really Cerise's butterfly name) and have at least part of the public turn against Ladybug for a then... not really invalide reason anymore the more of Ladybug's lies get revealed.

It's almost ironic, Marinette in the London special was so busy making up this convoluted and unnecessary web of lies that'll only harm her in the long run, that she completely ignored that the person she was supposed to deceive by hiding the truth was the new villain. Not the world.

Marinette did it the wrong way around. The people she wasnt supposed to lie to, she lied to. But the person she was supposed to deceive she left to keep all the information to ruin everyone's lives, beside the most obvious one for the current problem.

Marinette even reads out loud from the notebook that the new Butterfly wrote down that it was TOMOE who wanted Kagami and Adrien spared from her and Gabriel's villain plan, no mentioning that Gabriel tried protecting his son which contradicts Marinette's story.

I dont know if Marinette just assumes that this person can reveal the truth however she likes and Marinette as Ladybug will just claim something else everytime because she knows that most people will blindly believe Ladybug, but that's... that is awful. It would mean that Marinette and Cerise are now officially switching roles in their previous dynamic and now CERISE is the one trying to out the liar - just on a global fucking scale and with Ladybug having immense power and influence through her status that warrants seeing her as a threat for doing this.

I hope with all my heart that this is not what's gonna happen, but I do fear it will. Cause no, I will not support Marinette in such harmful hypocrisy. If this is what's gonna happen, then Marinette is the bad guy here and she should be exposed as liar just as she fought to expose Lila for WAY less. You cannot pull that and expect me to be on Marinette's side. No, she wont be the villain, but she wont be the good guy either just because she says so.
