Random gothamite: SO last week right?

It's hotter than a witches tits in latex- so I made some homemade Popsicles that you can also feed to pets.

I also had my windows and doors open- yea I know that's dangerous in gotham but it's hot asf and who's causing major world ending crime in this heat? I also have my gun, duh

But anywho- I'm sitting on my balcony with me dog and cat (giggles and shitter) and the tiny stabby robin drops down from who knows where-

Now I've encountered this robin before when I was kidnapped (long story) I also know from social media that this robin loves animals

And so he's standing there a bit awkwardly

So I ask if he wants to pet my pets

He gives a lil nod- then I ask if he wants a Popsicle cuz this poor baby look like he's bout to melt into a puddle

After a pause he nods (it's the most adorable unsure nod ever and it gave me big whiplash after watching him pummel the those kidnappers) so I go back inside and give him a Popsicle and he eventually starts eating it while petting both animals who squeezed into his lap

And I'm like "omfg this is the cutest shit I've seen all week" and of course I snap a pic of it (perfect lighting and all) I posted it to the "cute sword robin moments" tag on Twitter (you have to look under that tag it's the equivalent of funny n cute cat memes)

But after that whole ordeal (he finishes his Popsicle and leaves abruptly) it's like a few days later and I'm stuck in between a fight against a group of thugs and THE FUCKING BATMAN

I don't even know how I got there I was just walking from getting off of work (my car got exploded, long story)

And so I'm just standing there watching it go down (no I'm not scared- this is a weekly occurrence, after the first few times of watching a fight it just becomes a nuisance

But after he has these guys all tied up and knocked tf out seeing the bat got me thinking bout the Robin's and then I'm like "wait? Would the bat like to see the picture??"

So before he grapples away (also, rude?? I just had to sit and watch your ass fight and block my only path, and then your just gonna leave??) And I just yell "hey I got a cute pic of the small robin if you wanna see it!!" Tell me why he drops down so fast and is immediately standing infront of me?!? Lowkey had me backing up a bit

But I pull out my phone and show him the pic

I'm being so dead ass when I tell you I heard him CHUCKLE!! THE FUCKING BATMAN CHUCKLED?!

He also got me to airdrop the picture to him and keep my mouth shut about the interaction (yes I'm telling you the whole story- but the bat is kinda like a weird quiet uncle who looks threatening but when your around him more he starts to become the uncle that you can roast the shit out off and he'll just awkwardly laugh- I know cuz ive cussed him out once and he went and brood in a fucking corner?? What I'm tryna say is- he won't do shit to me cuz im a gothamite 🤷🏽‍♂️)

Anyway- but yea? Crazy experience.

Galactik Football season 3 rewatch, eps 13-15

Episode 13:

Funny how the Pirates, who have the most motivation to find the contact, are the ones supporting an immediate evacuation whereas Brim Simbra is going for the “no need to panic people” route

Brim Simbra: He's right. Especially since many people will leave Paradisia right after the final anyway. The evacuation has to take place calmly.

Well fuck all the retail workers and support staff on Paradisia then. You guys are at more risk because we'll only announce a proper evacuation once all the visitors are gone <3

Again they missed their chance to have D'jok and Sinedd taunt each other at the start of the match, their roasts used to be hilarious

The way Mei is just watching them with her hands crossed sfdjhds girl, be ready!

Why does it look like everyone has left the stadium already (that is a FUCK ton of people by the way, SEVERE danger of fatal crowd crushes. Which wouldn't be happening if you pre-emptively evacuated everyone, BRIM SIMBRA) but D'jok, Mei and Sinedd are still taking their time getting off the pitch?

I find it a bit hard to believe that D'jok's so far gone he'll literally just stand there as the stadium falls apart around him. In season 2 it was because he was in shock at least, and anyway this is all kind of a re-hash of the end of season 2 but worse

I do love Sinedd saving D'jok and that his excuse is that he can't fight him if he's dead dsfjkdf it's hilarious

Seeing the flux effect on the 2D animation is so uncanny!

They seemed to be able to switch to using the flux for different purposes pretty quickly, like in football it mostly just gives them more power/speed/agility but they immediately have no problem channeling the Breath outwards and shooting it at stuff

It's a huge moment though, seeing them use the flux outside of football. If there were more seasons it could have been cool to see this as a can of worms opening and a debate around the potential loosening of the rules, with a balance between the benefits flux can bring vs the dangers

Sinedd you dumbass they would have left already, that's how evacuations work. Although I see him being too scared of losing them again to think rationally

Ok so how sentient ARE the robots in this show? Sidney is obviously very sad about Harvey being gone, and we've seen the Technodroids have normal conversations before. But everyone's reaction whenever Sidney gets sad is just 😬😬😬 awkward LOL. Are robots like second class citizens in this universe? No one believes their emotions are as real as humans? But are they?? So many questions

So these kids just.... use the flux? And NO ONE has noticed this yet? It's just... they were notified IMMEDIATELY that Rocket had used the flux to save Tia, how is this continuous use going undetected? I guess we already had that question considering Tia already knew how to use the flux in season 1, but with her you could at least make soooome sort of assumption of her being sheltered somehow as a daughter of diplomats. Maybe the flux society only noticed Rocket's flux use so quickly because they always make sure to track GF players really closely, but still if these kids are just chilling using it all the time, on GENESIS, it looks like the flux society are worryingly shit at their job lol

But that's the thing, season 3 introduces SO many crazy new concepts – new tournament, mixed flux teams, players moving to other teams, using flux outside of football, characters moving to different roles to shake up the status quo... so much interesting stuff but the execution just flubs it, especially with the character development.

Oh so the last time we saw Sinedd, he was running back into a collapsing stadium to find his parents and we had no idea if he'd made it or not, and now the next time we see him he's just chilling walking with his team? I don't know much about direction in shows like this but I feel like we should have had a scene where he reunites with Mei at least before this??

Actually come to think of it, D'jok ends up on the Snow Kids' ship during the evacuation and we never get to see their reaction to him! Of course at first they all just want to survive and are obviously worried about him, but what about after? Was it awkward? Did they talk? TELL ME

Sinedd is a dick cutting Mei off like that but kind of sweet to see him refer to the Shadows as family

Wait have D'jok and Sonny interacted since Sonny got healed? I feel like we're sorely missing some father and son interactions here, and D'jok has been really needing it! And where's Maya in all this??

Mei is right to question the “parents” with how sketchy they're acting, but it's tough. Sinedd's finally got that part of himself back and there's no way he'll consider the idea of losing it again.

Show really doesn't give us any detail on how someone actually masters another flux. Like how does it work?

Oh Mei's getting sick now from the Smog, but how did Sinedd get over it? He did have symptoms of Smog poisoning in season 2 but I don't remember him ever getting cured like Artegor did? Aarch had to quit the Shadows because it had gone too far, is it actually something you can just overcome? Is it different for everyone? Is it down to overusing it? So many questions!

I like that Mei was just like. NOPE this is hurting me, even if I liked you I ain't staying! As she should.

Wait so everyone thinks team Paradisia are actually from the planet? Which iirc only became habitable not that long ago? I'm confused on the origins of these girls, how are they cyborgs? Do they have any lives and family outside of the team Lord Phoenix assembled? I mean they're not androids? I feel like since they're closely connected to a main character, they should have gotten some more backstory.

Oh so D'jok left team Paradisia already? Why exactly? He seemed all about winning with them. We don't even get a scene of him leaving them and their reaction??

What?? D'jok's just decided to do coaching all of a sudden? Because of one little encounter with kids playing football?? He was obsessed with winning tournaments like 5 minutes ago how did this change come about??? Like. I can SEE the vision and D'jok becoming a mentor figure is a fun idea but... we need to see the steps of getting there!

English dub goofs up again: D'jok says he'll never go back to the Snow Kids after what THEY did, but then goes on about how HE messed up and they'll never take him back. And again, what made him realise he was behaving poorly? You can't just set up a character's development, then suddenly show them once they've reached a conclusion. Was is the near-death experience? The fact Mei still wanted to help him despite how he'd acted? His loneliness finally catching up to him? I WANT ANSWERS

Mei: Don't you want to play for the cup? D'jok: We've done it, Mei. We've won twice! What's the point?

OK this is super interesting, I'm gonna link @millimononym 's post here about D'jok's potential arc (hope that's ok!) because I think it fits really well with this. For a guy obsessed with destiny, hitting his peak early could really mess with him. You could have such an interesting arc about this and accepting that life goes on and that our lives don't have to be defined by reaching some greater goal or purpose. It's about doing it with your friends and, if the show delved a little bit more in the whole post-flux war climate, it's also about being a symbol of hope for a planet that basically suffered the apocalypse. People joke about how the Snow Kids won three times in a row straight away, instead of doing the anime lose -> train to get better -> win scenario, but you could actually address this and use it to the story's advantage!

Aww Lun-Zia can't do it :( I can't remember what happens but it would be cool if she actually couldn't master the Breath, sometimes no matter how hard you try things just don't go the way you want

Wait so um... is no one questioning how the Paradisia girls still have their flux even though the planet is dead? And what are the girls even doing right now? They have no home and no Lord Phoenix, who took care of everything for them. And where did Nina-8 come from??

The Elektra's support of Yuki is so cute. Also kind of interesting lore that their planet is far from the other planets, and hence its residents find it very hard to connect to the flux, so much so it was assumed they didn't have one. A cool explanation for why the team hasn't shown up yet!

Oh she's been selected by the Wambas!! Of course they would want her on their team after seeing her play at Paradisia. Well that wrapped up nicely! Still, this confirms she was just some rando on the beach. And what was she up to before the tournament anyway? I wish we got to know more about her

Mark immediately has a crush on Nina-8 but somehow not Nikki-4 who looks just like her? XD

I don't mind Yuki staying with the Elektras actually, its the Elektra's first GFC and I can see her wanting to go further with them. And sometimes that's just life! Going on new adventures

Dog Bite

Pairing: Kakagai

Characters: Tsunade and Maito Gai

For: @shinobimagpie who gets all of my attempts at writing Tsunade and deserves to see our fav lady roast tf out of the boys.

News travels fast in the hospital. Whether it’s an unexpected visitor or a rare, attractive case, the entire hospital would know about it within five minutes of the patient's arrival.

Nurses will whisper amongst each other.

Doctors will write notes and huddle into small groups to make observations with what little information they have.

It has been this way since Tsunade was a trainee following her Sensei around the hallways, and she had no doubt that it would continue long after she had passed away. Some things simply never changed.

Gossip kept the hospital thriving, and Tsunade lived off of it. She loved it. So when she saw some Nurses huddling in close and heard them whispering amongst themselves, she couldn’t help but slide in a little closer and try to catch just a bit of what they were saying.

“All over his body?” One nurse gasped. “How bad are they?”

“Some of them are deeper than others,” another whispered, moving in just a little closer to her co-workers. “There’s blood on a few of them, but most of them are just surface bites.”

Tsunade’s interest was now officially peaked.

“But what kind of animal would do that?” the first nurse asked. “Usually they just attack one spot. They don’t bite all over.”

“He said it was a dog.” The second answered with a shrug of her shoulders.

“A dog,” the third Nurse huffed. “Right. I doubt that.”

“Dogs do bite though,” The first nurse pipped up. “And he does spend a lot of time around Kakashi-san. Doesn’t he have dogs?”

Someone who spent a lot of time with Kakashi, who had bite marks all over his body. Tsunade didn’t need to stick around for the rest of the conversation. She knew exactly who the patient was.

Clearing her throat, she refrained from smirking when all three Nurses jumped in surprise. “T-Tsunade-Sama!?”

“What room?” she asked, determined to see this mess of a man for herself.

“Ummm, well…he’s not really fond of having just anyone walk in,” the second nurse, most likely the one who was helping their patient since she seemed to have all of the information, whispered. “He asked me to keep this between us and the doctor.”

“And who is the doctor?”

“Well…”

After a short pause, Tsunade shook her head. “I’ll take your silence to mean a doctor hasn’t been chosen yet,” it was only logical of course. This was a man known for being stubborn and hard-headed. He wouldn’t allow just anyone to see him in such embarrassing conditions. “I’ll take over then. If the damage is as bad as it sounds he’s going to need the best person possible to care for him.”

And she was going to need a story to hold over his and Kakashi’s heads for the rest of her life. It was only fair after all of the headaches they gave her busting down shops and causing havoc with their competitions.

“Room number, please.”

“Oh, um, Room 222.”

With her destination obtained, Tsunade turned her back to the nurses and began walking away. Before she reached the end of the hallway, though, she peered over her shoulder to see them huddled together once again.

“Alright you three!” she called out to them, causing all three of them to jump up in surprise. “Back to work. It’s rude to talk about Patients behind their backs.”

‘Even ruder not to include me’ she thought to herself as she continued down the hallway towards her new destination.

Tsunade could have provided a warning of her arrival. It was standard procedure to knock on a patient's door before opening it, allowing them a moment to get themselves together if they were in the middle of something.

This situation didn’t call for a warning, though. It demanded immediate action, and as soon as the door swung open Tsunade knew she was right to ignore standard procedure for this particular issue.

There, directly in front of her, stood Maito Gai. His signature green jumpsuit pooled around his waist while he sat on the hospital bed looking like the picture-perfect mix of a deer caught in the lantern light, and a turtle who wished for nothing less than the ability to draw himself into his own skin and hide from the ridicule that he knew was headed his way.

“Oh,” her eyes scanned over his body, taking in every single mark on his skin. “When the nurse told me you were covered, I didn’t think it was this bad.”

Every inch of his skin was covered in bite marks. From deep, bloody bites to shallow marks left by sharp teeth. Not a single area of his arms, chest or even neck had been spared from the attack.

“Tsuande-Sama,” Gai’s eyes nearly popped right out of his head when he saw her. “I- I didn’t think that the nurse-”

“That she’d ask for me?” A smirk tugged at her lips. This was even more fun than she had thought it would be. “Well, I was told you were attacked by a rather vicious dog,” she made sure to enunciate the final word, her smirk growing wider when Gai averted his eyes. “It does look like quite the attack.”

Shutting the door behind her, she made her way towards Gai and leaned forward to get a closer look at the bite marks. Right around his nipple was the worst one, with dry blood clinging to his chest and angry red marks that looked almost inflamed.

“Can you tell me something about this dog?” she asked, trying to keep herself from laughing as she examined another bite mark, this time on his neck. One of the few that had only left a shallow mark. “It seems it was alert enough to refrain from ripping your neck out.”

“Well, it was rather…big.” Gai whispered, refusing to meet her eyes when she glanced up at him.

“Mmmhmm.”

“And…it was playful,” he added. “It didn’t mean to hurt me. I think it just got excited.”

Excited. She wanted so badly to reach out and smack Gai across the side of his head, but it was likely to cause him even more pain than he was already in.

“Did it have sharp teeth?” she pushed for more information.

“Very sharp, yes.” Nodding his head, Gai cringed, no doubt feeling the pain of all those bites on his neck being aggravated.

“Sharp teeth and playful,” she repeated. “And tell me, this dog. Did it happen to have silver hair and a Sharingan?”

If it was possible for a man to die from embarrassment, Tsunade was certain it would have happened to Gai at that moment. His fingers curled into the edge of the hospital bed, breaking off a piece into his hand, and when she reached out to touch his forehead it was burning, not with a fever but with embarrassment.

She had hit the nail right on the head and she couldn’t have been prouder of herself for that.

“Well,” standing up straight she grinned when Gai dared to look up at her. “We can take care of those bites pretty easily.”

“Y-you can?” Gai asked, a hopeful tone in his voice.

“Of course, I can. And I’ll even help you out a bit when we’re done,” he cringed when her smile grew wider. “I’ll give you a muzzle. That should stop your adorable pup from biting you again.”

If only Kakashi was in the room, she’d love to see his face at the suggestion.

Where Gai dared to snicker at the mental image, allowing himself just a moment of joy in a rather embarrassing situation, Kakashi would no doubt glare at her. His face would turn a bright, crimson red, but his eyes wouldn’t give away his embarrassment. No, his eyes would narrow into that threatening glare. The look she had seen him give Naruto when the kid’s back was turned to him, or which he would shoot at Asuma whenever he made a joke at his expense. His silent promising her a quick, painless death if she ever went through with that promise.

Most importantly, though, she regretted not seeing that Hatake Pout. The one she knew Kakashi had inherited from his father because she had seen it in action when he was still just a kid.

The was a look worth risking death over, though Kakashi would never actually try to kill her even if he threatened to.

He wouldn’t stand a chance.

Alright, so Earthspark material is showing up at San Diego Comic Con 2022, and there’s already whining from a lot of people (granted, mostly on Twitter, which is hell anyway). 

But, something I’m seeing already is a lot of hate for this Optimus design, and in particular, lots of people are asking “why is there no faceplate” or “why does Hasbro not use the faceplate in animation anymore”, among many variations of this question. 

So, here’s my point of view on facemasks in Transformers animation, as a hearing disabled person: 

When watching any show with subtitles, something I pretty much have to do or I often miss dialogue etc. since I can’t make out speech very easily, it helps to have a visual cue of who is speaking to match up to the subtitles. 

Not all subtitling will note which character is speaking etc., so visual indicators can help figure out what subtitled dialogue belongs to which character, especially in group scenes and the like.

In G1, Optimus had a faceplate which moved a little when he was speaking, and Wheeljack’s ears lit up when he was speaking, so this made it easier for me to tell when subtitled dialogue belonged to them-- Even with their faceplates, I can tell when they’re speaking. 

However, let’s say in Prime, whenever Wheeljack or Optimus have their faceplates engaged, it is harder for me to tell when they are speaking-- Because the faceplates don’t move and Wheeljack’s ears don’t light up. 

I’m not dunking on Prime (it’s my personal favourite of the cartoons tbh), but I feel like it’s important to note that this type of thing can present an issue for some people like me who may (at least at first) struggle to figure out what subtitles pair to which characters in a group conversation or hectic scene or sequence, because their mouths are covered and there are no visual indicators in Prime to know when characters with their faces mostly covered are speaking. 

In this way, G1 was actually a little more accessibility friendly, at least for some of us! 

Now, this isn’t universal, and it depends a lot on HOW something is subtitled, among a zillion other factors which are down to each individual. Just because it’s easier for me personally to follow along with visual indicators doesn’t mean all hearing disabled people will be the same way. 

It’s just something I’ve noticed myself, personally, when watching TF media as a hearing disabled person. Again, not a universal experience! 

But I do find it easier to follow along with dialogue subtitles for a masked character if there is some kind of visual indicator that they are speaking, because let’s be real, a lot of subtitles are not great and don’t always effectively indicate who’s talking, sometimes just because a lot of characters may be talking at once or shit might be happening and I understand why it’s tricky, lol. 

Earthspark: Don’t Roast It Just Yet 

In regards to the Earthspark design, to be fair, we haven’t really seen this character model in motion yet. We haven’t seen much of it at all yet, and I’m not judging the design because I don’t feel as though it would be fair to do so at this stage.

I’m just saying, I understand why Hasbro might not want faceplates to be used super often for main characters with prominent speaking roles, for various reasons. 

Ease of accessibility for hearing disabled people using subtitles to pair along to the visuals might be one of these reasons. 

I don’t know that for sure, we’d have to ask the team working on the show or perhaps even Hasbro directly to find out if this was part of their design considerations or not! 

But it makes sense to me, personally, that if they aren’t going to use visual indicators to show when a character is speaking like in G1 with Optimus and Wheeljack, then it’s best to avoid totally covering most of a character’s face when they are talking, at the very least. 

Quick Test to Prove My Point: 

Can you tell which Wheeljack is actively speaking? 

Right! 

Ears lighting up = Wheeljack is saying something. 

Visual indicators like this for characters with facemasks makes it easier to follow rapid subtitling, or pair subtitled dialogue in group scenes to the specific character which is speaking. 

Now imagine a mess of subtitling going super fast as multiple characters are talking, and there’s no indication of who is speaking which lines as they come up on the screen, oftentimes back to back.

(God help you if you have shitty Closed Captioning and not subtitles. sigh lol) 

For me, personally, I can’t make out dialogue almost at all when there’s lots of background noise/sound effects/music, and it can be super hard to tell who’s saying what in such busy scenes. 

G1 is easier to follow in this way, because for the main speaking bots with faces covered, there are visual ways to determine that which don’t rely upon being able to see the bot’s mouth actually move. 

 Again, this isn’t a universal issue for all hearing disabled viewers, but this is just my own experience!

Things Asuka Does That I Also Do/Have Done

I’m an Asuka kinnie so I’d know this and can confirm that it’s all canon

Her Starbucks order is a caramel macchiato.

She has really weird snacking habits; like, goes to the fridge at 2am to get a slice of cheese, approximately 7 chocolate chips, and some Doritos.

Absolutely fucking FLAMES people for the most random shit. You better not wear your shoes untied within a 10 mile radius of Asuka.

She once did soccer as a child, but was taken out because she wouldn’t do SHIT on the field.

Walks infuriatingly fast.

Asuka’s Mario Kart main is bowser, and her smash main changes but it’s any big character rlly (my Mario kart main is king boo but bowser is my second choice and is more fitting for her).

Her source of confidence as a child was that she read the entire Hunger Games series in 3rd grade and got second place in the spelling bee once.

Was a Justice girl (as in she wore the brand Justice frequently as a child).

please give them affection, none of them are used to it and once you start being casually affectionate with them they’re hooked almost immediately

Obv some are less receptive at first than others - satan, belphie, luci - but that’s okay just give them time

Asmo and Beel are the most comfy with affection and are willing to initiate majority of the time

Asmo always has an arm linked with yours whenever he’s next to you, at the least. He likes to hug you from behind and rest his chin on your shoulder so he can nuzzle into your neck to tickle you

Beel will casually pick you up for hugs, and hold you in his arms to make you safe. he also likes to hold your hand just ‘cause

Levi and Mammon want in on the action once they see beel an asmo being so touchy with you, but are definitely in denial about it for like, a week before they give in and stop being so wussy about it

mammon likes to throw an arm around your shoulders just so others stay away, bc you’re HIS human ofc. also likes it when you play with his hair as previously stated.

Levi is a little more shy about it, but loves it when you link pinkies or choose to sit next to him at the dining table and link ankles with him. He’s also hella smug when you lean on him but is also a blushing mess.

Where do I even begin…he l o v e s your energy like you two would vibe almost instantly. He thinks that you studying psychology and also being an artist is pretty damn amazing and can totally relate to the fact that you often get in trouble since you run your mouth, he sometimes has no filter and cusses alot. This blog gives me life. I just saw the post you did about Peter walking in on Roman and reader fighting and teasing the pair of you and I'm obsessed with that idea. How would Peter cope with constantly having to walk in on them going at it everywhere. Also, I feel like there would be a point where once she and peter tolerated eachother a bit more, they would roast tf out of Roman and he would hate it so much lol

Say like Roman came home feeling extra aggressive for no real reason—work had been average, no adversities to speak of—he just needed to fuck you. You’d get halfway up the stairs and he would pull you down, rip off your tights, lose his shirt but somehow not his tie, stuffing his face between your legs. Just lapping at you like a parched animal desperate for fluid. “Roman,” you’d giggle, trying to inch your way up the stairs but he’s just pull you back down. You knew that Peter was due home only a few minutes after Roman and you hadn’t made it past the sixth stair. To make matters worse, Roman had ripped open your blouse and pushed your bra up your chest so he could play with your nipples while he ate you out ferociously.

When the inevitable happened—Peter walking in to see you nearly naked, splayed out on the stairs like a dissection specimen, you shrugged your shoulders.

“Seriously!? Third time this week! There are a dozen rooms in this fucking house!” Peter yelled.

Roman pretended like he didn’t hear him but he did lift you and carry you up the rest of the stairs much too late to save anyone the sight of him eating you.

It would take a couple of days for Peter to recover or to at least be able to look you in the eye without thinking about your tits. All three of you dined together one night and somehow got on the topic of fashion.

The only reason you owned such nice clothes was because of Roman and Peter liked to poke fun at the upir’s fancy pants.

You laughed before sipping a glass of wine. “Roman Fancy-Pants Godfrey. Has a wonderful ring to it.”

Peter lifted his glass up with a contagious smile. “To Roman the Fanciest of Pants Godfrey!”

“I apologize that I don’t have the extensive selection of corduroys like you do, Peter,” Roman tried not to smirk.

A bunch of random tidbits about my OCs??  Don’t mind if I do!

Avei

Avei is right-handed but can use her left hand well enough in most situations to be somewhat ambidextrous.

She makes many jokes about how good she is with her hands.

She smol, about 5′2″.

After Corso gave her Flashy and Sparkles she uses them exclusively.  She always wanted cool modded blasters but could never afford them, so she treasures her pair and keeps them in top condition.

Avei loves to tinker with stuff and does it to calm down or soothe herself.  She feels the same about ship maintenance and if she’s stressed will just open a random panel and tune up everything inside.

Her favorite place in her ship is the cockpit.  She loves to sit and just watch the stars.

She got her fancy blue dress one night when Avei went home with a Coruscant socialite for fun times, her dad came home early, and Avei grabbed the wrong set of clothes on her way out the back door.

When Avei was about eight, an Organa noble’s kid snuck on board Atr’ii’s ship.  He wasn’t very useful - more enamored with the ~glamour~ of a rogue’s life than any of the reality - but he was a convenient babysitter for Avei so Atr’ii let him stick around for a few weeks.  He would teach Avei all sorts of fancy noble mannerly things to entertain her and she went through a princess phase for a while.  As an adult she finds it useful when she does a job smuggling for a more white collar client.

She also went through a Jedi phase as a kid.  When she met Skye she was immediately excited to have a cool Jedi friend.  (Skye took a while to warm up.)

Avei can be charming and suave for short periods of time but if you get to know her at all the fact that she’s huge dork is revealed.

She loves puns.  The worse, the better.

Her idea of seducing her husband is “Hey farmboy, let me ride your tractor, I can drive stick hurr hurr”

Avei thinks hair is weird af.  Obviously she’s used to being around humans and everything, but it’s still weird to her.  If drunk enough she will play with people’s hair.

She will dance sober but dance even more enthusiastically if drunk.  She will only sing when drunk, and when she does it is loud and terrible.

Avei’s favorite song is the Star Wars equivalent of Uptown Funk.

If you make slave girl or dancer comments to her face, she will shoot you, most likely in the junk.

She hates the Hutts and the Cartel because of their enslavement of her people.  When she needs a girl’s night, she, Risha, Akaavi, and sometimes Skye will go rob some Hutt business or another.

She is not an animal person.  At all.  She was incredibly salty about Risha putting the shanjaru on her ship.

There are NPC lines about statues being built of your PC.  At least one of Avei gets built.  Avei has a holo of her touching her own butt.  She then made Corso pose for a holo of him touching her butt.  They are framed and displayed in their house.  Avei is very proud of them.

Kiva refuses to bring her first girlfriend home because of them.  Corso ensures the holodisplay is mysteriously not working when needed for her sake.

Avei suspects she knows why the holodisplay keeps mysteriously going out but she likes tinkering with stuff too much to really complain.  Also she makes the picture bigger each time.

She prefers fruity sweets over chocolate.  Her favorite is a specific brand of sugared shuura fruit imported from Naboo.

Illivrin

Illivrin, being raised in a poor subsistence farming community and then being a slave, has a very low-grade education.  In American terms, she probably wouldn’t have even graduated high school.

She has poor reading and writing skills.  She struggles to read at more than a slow pace, and her handwriting is rough chicken scratches.  She completes everything she can digitally.

This is how Sali’ra manages to turn Illivrin’s base against her; Illivrin gives Sali’ra more and more paperwork over the years so Sali’ra gets more and more intel and can start manipulating Illivrin’s underlings accordingly right under her nose.

Also due to this she will eat anything.  If she gets it and it looks vaguely edible and she’s sure it’s not poisoned, she will eat it.  Her diet is terrible.

She is extremely paranoid about poison being hidden in richly flavored dishes, and avoids fancy foods.  Her diet mainly consists of ration bars, some vegetables, and crappy roasted meat.

Illivrin is right handed.

Like Avei, she pretty smol.  About 5′5″.

She is incredibly strong in the Force.  The Anakin Skywalker of her day.  I don’t give a rat’s ass what KotFE canon says about Vaylin.

She is hardcore introverted, and is honestly happiest wandering in the depths of a Sith tomb alone or with just Khem, looking at weird artifacts.

Unlike Bioware I did not forget about the Silencer.  Illivrin will take any excuse to whip it out and point it at an enemy.  It’s like Life Day for her.

She isn’t a fan of music, and prefers quieter recordings of obscure classics from Imperial and Sith cultures if she does have to listen to something.  Generally things that sound like quiet wailing to the untrained ear.

She doesn’t like to wear things heavier than a scarf on her face or neck because it reminds her of her slave collar.  She still treasures the Mask of Kallig, but it’s the only exception.

For this reason she keeps her hair short until she is exiled, when she doesn’t have a way to cut it regularly.

She didn’t trust anyone with scissors near her neck and had a barber droid, which she mindwipes regularly to avoid tampering.

She kept bangs grown out on one side because she is self-conscious of the burn scar on her face.

Illivrin’s Force powers manifested while she was a slave in the form of a Muggle Repellent charm-type thing.  Any slave overseer getting ideas about the nearest female slave got hit with a massive, uncontrolled “STAY TF AWAY” wave from her through the Force; all they knew was that they suddenly got a horrible headache.

Because of her days as a slave, Illivrin enjoys killing slave owners and...the slaves.

She kills the owner first in a horrible, horrible painful way ofc.

But then because her mindset is “I would rather die than be a slave again” she kills the slaves too, because slavery is a fate worse than death and as far as she’s concerned, she’s saving them.  The slaves do not see it this way.

Illivrin’s final end is when Kiva reverses the binding rituals, frees the Sith ghosts Illivrin bound, and in turn binds Illivrin to an eternal prison in a tomb on Yavin 4.  She is trapped there, separated from Khem Val, the only person she ever cared about, for all eternity.

It is a deeply beloved and self-indulgent headcanon of mine that at some point Anakin Skywalker finds her prison tomb thing and she fries his bitch ass.

I don’t have a specific picture for this but this series handles character development really well. A self righteous son of a general wanting to take Yona’s hand to obtain the throne. Corners the fleeing princess and she falls down a ravine. Blaming himself for her death and becomes a useless person. After finding out Yona is alive he tries to impress her by doing good things. Ends up actually caring for his subordinates and the commoners. His actions end up saving some decrepit villages and the people within them
